(eng c.c) Night Skincare Routine | Soobeauty - Duration: 6:33.
Hey guys, it's Soo here! :)
Today, I think it's my first time ever
showing you guys my night time skincare routine!
As some of you guys already know,
I have combination skin so my T-zone is oily while my cheeks are dry
but when the weather becomes colder, my cheeks become really! dry
so I've suffered from the dryness for a couple of years
and through today's video, I'm going to show you guys my skincare routine
in how I'm battled the dryness!
then let's get started!
I am currently filming at night, so I can't be too loud, which I do apologise for :(
I currently have no makeup on whatsoever!
but it's not too bad...
nevermind lol
When I finish cleansing/washing my skin,
I actually don't dry my face onto a towel
I find that doing that makes my skin dry out even more
so instead of wiping my face
I just start my skincare with my face still wet
but if you're someone who is so used to using a towel to wipe off the water
I recommend you to spray your face with plenty of mist afterwards!
Make sure to hydrate your face with a mist and then you can start your skincare routine.
The first thing that I use is this toner
This is the Natural Pacific Fresh Herb Calendula Tincture Toner
I'm going to take a cotton pad and really soak it up with the toner
Be generous with the toner, or else the cotton pad will agitate your skin if it's not wet enough
so I've basically soaked up the cotton pad with a ton of toner
and now I'm going to wipe off all the water from cleansing
and at the same time, I'm going to hydrate my face with this toner
So I think it's so important not to give a single second for your face to dry up
So I've just applied the toner and that's going to lightly hydrate my skin
and by using a cotton pad, I've also lightly exfoliated my skin
So this is the first step of my skincare routine!
Next up!
THis is the Biotherm Life Plankton Essence
I'm going to use this as the second layer to hydrate my skin
This is also a very lightweight product
I just like to apply this directly onto my skin using my fingers
and I'm just going to pat this on gently to make sure that it gets absorbed into the skin
This Biotherm Essence is very light and also smells very refreshing
so it feels nice when you use it :)
Next up, I'm going to use a serum!
This is the Faceshop Water Drop Anti-Anging Moisturising Serum
I'm actually very close to using this up
There's only a small amount left in here
I do three pumps of this and also like to apply this with my fingers
This serum is also very light
It's very light but very hydrating as well
So this is a product that I've been enjoying very much!
I'm just putting a layer of this beautiful serum all over my skin
One of the most important things when you're layering all the products
you really have to make sure that they get absorbed into your skin!
Sometimes, when I'm busy or don't have time, I would slap them on without really absorbing them
but on those days, my skin would feel even more dry and dehydrated!
So please make sure to take the time to absorb everything!
Super important!
So I've just made sure to really hydrate my face
and now, to lock down all of these beautiful products onto my skin
now I'm going to moisturise my skin and build a good barrier
and just make sure that none of the products evaporate
especially since it's winter and there's so much cold wind blowing onto your face
whenever these winds blow against our skin, all the water gets taken away!
so it's important to build a protective barrier to lock in all the hydration
here's a cream that I am loving these days!
This is the ISOI Intensive Energizing cream
Creams are especially helpful in building those barriers
Isoi was already so famous for having super natural ingredients so I was very thankful about that
but to be honest, I was worried at first because the formula was a bit thick
I was concerned that maybe this product would be too heavy or overwhelming for my skin
but the way you apply this products makes a huge difference!
As for me
I don't like to spread this out with my fingers
what I do with this product is
I take a pea amount
and take this to the palm of my hands
and just rub my hands together to warm up the product
and then I just make sure to press in the product like this
and just really press on and absorb the product in
Seriously, nowadays, I cannot leave the house without applying this product lol
it does an amazing job in creating that protective barrier
so I've just been really enjoying this product
like I mentioned earlier, I do feel a bit more dryness in my cheeks
so I like to layer this product onto my cheeks on more time
and so I'm just doing the same thing
but this time, I'm only applying this onto my cheeks!
because my t-zone is a bit oily, I feel like I don't need to apply it there
and if you use this cream, I feel like you don't need to use a facial oil because this is very rich
and i even recommend this cream to those with just dry skin!
or if you feel inner dryness, I also recommend this!
and this cream has a nickname of "dong-an (younger face) tightening cream"
sigh...yes, I do need to look after my skin now
I'm not getting any younger so
with this cream, I hope it will make me "dong-an" lol
So that was it for my Nighttime skincare routine!
if you guys also have trouble with inner dryness or just dryness
I recommend first hydrating your face
and then layering a protective moisture barrier on top!
I hope you guys found this video helpful in one way or another
don't forget to like and subscribe! I'll see you guys in my next, BYE :)

Reasons of Why the Entire Universe won't be Enough for You - Sadhguru 2018 - Duration: 13:19.
it's the same material with which an earthworm is made a grasshopper is made
a bird is made a tree is made a monkey is made and the human being is made and
it's the same material that all of us are made of but what have you turned it
into have you made it into your fantastic possibility or you or have you
made it into your horrible problem in your life this is in your hands you have
the material same material I am made of the same material as you are whoever you
look up to your Ramakrishna made of the same material or no I said no same
material what you made of yourself and what somebody else made of himself is
just a question how much attention you pay to it what have you done with it
if you are willing what is the problem once you're really willing methods are
simple all right methods are very simple because there's only one ingredient to
fix just you and you nobody else but you if you can't do this rest of it is so
accidental in your life everything that you do is bound to be a miserable
process because once in a way when profits are declared in your company you
are happy on that day but the three months that you went through is hello
now that is not the way life needs to be structured it is just that every moment
of your life needs to be joyful you don't have to practice this grave
looking face you anyway will get there don't have any doubt about it I am
assuring you this I will bless you with a long life but whether you like it or
you don't like it you may think I'm going here I'm going there I am going
somewhere else but as far as your body is concerned it is diving straight into
the grave yes or no these are two fundamental factors of your life
and energy you live near Mahakaleshwar okay what this means is this word kala
is very very important it means time and it means darkness I will not go into the
physics of this this is the highest level of fundamental physics I will not
go into that it'll get I have my time limits am I have I already crossed it
any time and energy these are the two components with which you made off isn't
it this is your life isn't it so a certain amount of time and a certain
amount of energy don't try to do circus with time because time is passing away
for all of us at the same pace yes it's ticking for all of us at the
same pace isn't it it is just that our experience of time may be different on a
certain day you're very joyful that 24 hours went off like a moment another day
you depressed 24 hours feel like a Yeon isn't it yes
or no the time is a relative experienced in individuals but it is flowing at the
same pace for all of us so I know you might have been taught in your MBAs that
you must man a time management don't try to manage time he's going at
the same pace do whatever you want it's going at the same pace it's your energy
that you need to manage and manifest in different dimensions what is an earthen
pot and what is a computer or a spacecraft same material it's just the
question of how it is energized and what happens out of it isn't it similarly
what is one human being and another human being is how he is managing his
energies if time time runs out before your energy runs out we say it's an
untimely death if energy runs out before time runs out we you call it a
vegetative life the skill of life is that you play these two things together
and well time and energy should run together now energy is a component of
your life you can enhance it limitlessly or you can make it very small
you can make it the same energy right now the same thing that we call as mud
which we walk upon is sitting here as a human being isn't it so this is the same
material or not same material isn't it so it is a certain energy because of the
efficiency of the competence of a certain type of energy that mud which
could have been a part or an earthworm or an insect today sitting here at him
being so if you transform this energy to a certain level people will look to you
won't think you're superhuman now we are not talking about you becoming
superhuman it is just that you have to realize being human is super being human
is really super the reason the reason why all the time people are talking
about another world and another place and another kind of super super whatever
out there is simply because they are never paid attention to this they never
realized the immensity of being human the immensity of being human has not
been explored you must understand this in this culture I want you to get this
in this culture there has never been an idea of the God nobody has told you
there is a God they have only told you there are 33 million gods and goddesses
this God goddess is an English word we call them they were us and they with us
Davy's what they were means is if a human being excels beyond a certain
limit which is considered normal then immediately we say he's a diva today
many people who I see even in the media people are referring to such an
Tendulkar as a cricket in God it may be absurd in modern Western context but in
India it's very normal if somebody excels beyond a certain
point we say okay he's a devil you know he's he's risen him risen himself beyond
normal levels of competence so he can be a mu
whatever it can be a cricket they were it can be a business they were it can be
anybody you know Cooper is the devil you know it's just a businessman so you can
become a they were if you excel they never told you there is a God up there
and managing your life you were always and always told your life is your karma
yes or no you've forgotten this but now you're saying are you okay man
there is no a new karma karma means action whose action my action or in
other words what is being told to you always is your life is your making 100%
the very room that you're being chosen that you're chosen to be born in is your
choice but an unconscious choice whatever you choose unconsciously you
can also choose consciously the very process of life birth and death a human
being is capable of taking into his hands if he pays enough attention to the
process of life when I say enough attention right now you have only one
way to pay attention your five sense organs seeing hearing smelling tasting
touching this is the only way you perceive the world all these things are
essentially outward bound you cannot roll your eyeballs inward and scan
yourself you cannot see if I say this if I do this you can hear but so much
activity in this body you cannot hear if an ant crawls upon this hand you can
feel it so much blood flowing you cannot feel it in the very nature of things
sense organs are outward bound they are good instruments for survival but they
are not good enough to perceive the nature of life without perceiving the
nature of life if you try to handle it you have distorted images of yourself in
the sense see in this cosmos this planet this solar system is a tiny speck you
know today they are talking about some hundred billion galaxies in that the
solar system is a tiny speck two more morning in the solar system vanishes
probably nobody will notice it anywhere else in this tiny speck planet Earth is
a micro tiny speck in that planet Earth in that micro speck in door city is a
super micro speck in that you are a big man it's a very huge problem the very
big problem once you lose perspective of what is the nature of your life what is
the context of your life then you will do absurd things it's like this right
now this vessel here because this is my rational you know I don't know whose
vessel I'll claim it for now I think my vessel is three feet wide now if I want
to lift this vessel I'll go like this it's a great way to handle this vessel
isn't it because my wrestle it's on my wrestle which is three feet wide all I
will do is make a fool of myself that's all that's happening if you have
exaggerated sense of who you are you will never know what you are what is the
nature of who you are see the very nature of things
who you are is right now unfortunately identify with a few things that you've
gathered your body and the content of your mind and things around you because
you are identified with that this desperation to be bigger than who you
are if you look little closer this is a tremendous possibility there is no need
to decorate this there is no need to enhance this this is fantastic the way
it is there is no words to describe this is a limitless possibility instead of
looking at that we are trying to expand the limitations that we have it's not
going to work now if I make you if I make you the king or queen of this world
will you be fulfilled I'm asking you don't look at me hope
I will not commit such a blunder will you be fulfilled now what about the
other planets okay we'll make you the king of solar system okay
fulfilled no other galaxies because this is the nature of the human being
wherever you are you want to be something more if that something more
happens you want to be something more so why don't we look at it how much more do
you want how much more do you want I'm asking you you want to limit less
expansion if you look at this so what you want is not more you want all if you
want all it's not going to happen by grabbing by conquest by ambition which
will only happen if you transcend the limitations of your physicality because
the nature of physicality is a defined boundary only because there's a defined
boundary we can call this a body physical body isn't it if I take off the
boundaries of this body can this be physical physical existence is a world
of boundaries but there is something within you
which wants to become boundless so if you transcend the limitations of your
physical nature if something beyond physicality becomes a living reality for
you then we use the most corrupted word upon you we say your spiritual spiritual
does not mean looking up looking down it is just that you have realized that what
you gather is not you not just intellectually experientially you know
that what is you and what is not you is clear to you now once you know that
you're a dimension beyond your physical nature you are a limitless possibility
question of being peaceful and joyful is not even an issue
you

Romantica/Cowboys - A MAN TO CALL MY OWN - Johanna Lindsey (ESP audio | ENG/ESP subs) - Duration: 12:12.
Hi people! The other day, going over the books I'd told you about and the ones
I'd yet to show you, I realized something terrible.
I still haven't spoken about romantica! I love romantica and
I haven't showed you any of my favorites.
That must be fixed asap, so today I bring you A MAN TO CALL MY OWN
by Johanna Lindsey. It's not like this novel is the best romance book I've ever
read, but it was funny, pretty and simple, so
it has a special place in my little heart and I wanted to share it with
you. I read this book in kindle, so
I'll have to google the synopsis. Here it is:
"New England, 1870. Twins Amanda and Marian Laton
may look identical, but Amanda is spoiled, hot-tempered and vain,
whereas energetic Marian hides her beauty beneath her glasses
and her unkempt clothes. When their father dies,
the refined young women must leave their mother land and move to their aunt's
ranch in Texas. There they meet Chad Kinkaid, the son
of a neighbour rancher. Even though he'll inherit his father's property, he prefers
working hard rather than living in his shadow. Marian is fascinated by
Chad's rugged masculinity, but she knows that, as always happens with every
man she and her sister have met, he'll end up choosing Amanda.
Chad can't help feeling dazzled by Amanda, but soon
he start seeing beyond Marian's boring-girl-façade and
discovers her adventurous spirit, her bravery in the face of danger and her sense
of humor. But how can he, a simple cowboy
without this kind of experience, convince Marian that, for him, there's no other woman
but her?"
We have a story set in the Wild West, which is an
exception in the romance books I usually read. The premise
seemed so soap-opera-ish that I decided to
give the book a chance and whoah, did I have a good time. It's rather absurd at first,
but well, it's entertaining. We have these two twins,
complete opposites, and Marian, our protagonist, is so tired
at Amanda taking all the guys she's interested in, that in the end,
she says "Why even try, I'll pass. Keep them all," and to avoid competing with her,
Marian shakes all attention off herself
by pulling an "Ugly Betty." She wears thick round glasses, tight buns,
shows an attitude of -- to put it short -- having a stick up her ass.
So at first, when they meet Chad,
who will escort them to the ranch where they'll live for the rest
of their lives, yeah, Amanda charms him, because she's dazzling,
charismatic and flirty, and sure, he likes Amanda, while
he clashes with Marian because
she has a temper and is rather strict, since she's used to
drawing men away from her and being the grouchy twin, but
she's not actually like that. The thing is, well, since she'll never
win over her sister, no matter what they compete for, she's decided to
be the Rottermeier sister and that's the end of it. It's a bit surreal,
but the book treats the subject in such a way that it's amusing.
So during their journey to the ranch, Chad gets to know Marian a bit better
and discover that Amanda, of course, is a plague, she's a pain in the ass.
Yeah, very charismatic and cute and superpretty, but to hell with her.
And then there's Chad, who's a cowboy... *snorts* Hoo boy.
Well, not that I'm super attracted to cowboys, but the attractive of this man
is that he's a cinnamon roll, a Western gentleman in the good sense
of the word: a rather polite man, respectful, down-to-earth...
He has a dream, but he's not a hyper-idealistic fool.
He just wanted to work hard, earn his living and be
a good man. Those are qualities I find
very attractive, that's why Chad quickly became my favorite
character in the book. Poor Chad is too good
and innocent, and this twin trouble confures him, especially
when Marian starts coming out of her shell and begins prettying herself up
and acting in a more open, close way with him... because, of course,
Marian starts feeling drawn to Chad. Then comes a moment when
a huge misunderstanding takes place, because
the passion between Marian and Chad blows up and...
anyway, they share a very sensual moment, but meanwhile she
looks so much like Amanda that Chad is flabbergasted, because he can't figure
if he banged Amanda or Marian. He thought he'd been with Marian, but...
Now he doesn't know which one did he sleep with, and neither of the girls will
clear his confusion, because Amanda only cares about her own life and Marian has become distant,
and the poor guy is dazed, twirling around like a beheaded chicken, trying
to get anyone to help him know for certain which twin did he smash with,
and which is in love with him. He knows who he loves, but...
What happened? It's all so absurd and ridiculous that it's entertaining.
So this is the deal: two opposite twins, a cowboy in the middle,
and yeah, other typical elements of the Wild West, or as we call it in my family,
"The Wild Butthole" (Spanish word game): bandits on the road, caravans,
life at the ranch, shirtless men taming horses and bulls,
ay ay ay cowboy, hit me with your whip
Sorry, I can't talk about romantica without busting a gut.
I love it, it's just that trying to explain it to someone sounds
so silly, but that's the charm of it.
We have these arid lands, the plains, long road trips, danger,
citizens making their own law... I can't tell you more about the book,
it's really that simple.
I don't want to make spoilers. But I wanted to show you something...
I had to stop recording a while ago, because a package arrived
from Amazon. I must have ordered a book or something... No, wait, this is the Three Wizard Kings (Spanish Santa)
this Christmas they brought a couple of spotlights to use while recording these videos,
so I didn't have to fight with the shutters or the sunfall, which always
mess with the lighting of my videos.
So the Kings -- particularly the King I sleep with -- gifted me these
two spotlights and I couldn't use them yet because I needed...
Uh, this thingy fell. I needed an adaptor to plug them,
so in the next video you'll see me using the lights with
a "rabbit-just-before-being-run-over" face, which is, the light shining on my face
and me like this O.O But well, everything comes with a price, and I'll have to
get used to the spotlights. I want to offer you better-quality videos.
I have another book, this one on paperback, by Johanna Lindsay, named
UNTIL FOREVER. I got it for 5€ at the mall's sale, and when I read
the synopsis I said "Don't care if the book is shit, I must buy and read this thing,
I can't miss this." Here's the synopsis (This is a bonus, eh?
I normally talk about just one book, but this OMG, I'm spoiling you!)
"Johanna Lindsay: UNTIL FOREVER. Prim and beautiful professor Roseleen White
watches in awe her new possession: a thousand-year-old Scandinavian sword
that carries a curse. The sword's supernatural powers
will make her dreams come true, causing a magnificent Viking warrior
to appear before her, and whose mission is to please her every desire.
Now, mighty Thorn (Yeah, that's his name, such a common
Viking name). Now mighty Thorn is Roseleen's prisoner,
but she's the actual prisoner, held willing captive by the handsome barbarian who sweeps
her back to the ancient past on a journey of sensual discovery. But he
will only be able to shake off the chains of immortality
if she makes the devastating choice of banishing him from her life, thus destroying
the love that binds them forever." And this is a book by Johanna Lindsay, so you
can imagine what A MAN TO CALL MY OWN is like. I just throw it in here,
it's your choice to read it or not. Speaking of romance novels, one day
I'll tell you more extensively about mine, THE LADY AND THE BANDIT, a story
set in Spain in the early XIX century, during the bandits' golden era.
As you can see, here are the main characters, all pretty, this sweet
furry armpit, so sensual and manly. The Blunderbuss, the woman staring
in awe at The Blunderbuss... If you're already interested,
you can find it on Amazon, both in kindle and paperback editions. I'll tell you about it some other day,
in more depth. But today was about Johanna Lindsay's book, which I hope
sparked your interest. And that was our week's book! An easy romance novel
with cowboys. Thank you so much for watching me one more week,
I hope to find you here the next, and see you next time!
Thank you all so much. Bye-bye! :D

Nice
[ someone bumped into my camera]
Hi
We're closing the vlog together
Okay
We wanted to stay home with New Years Eve
But we can't miss a party
We decided this at 12am
Yes very late
That we went to Foolish
It was in ''De Brabanthallen'' Den Bosch
So it was near by our house
We went there for a couple of hours
We were there at 1.30pm
When Warface was playing
Then we came in
We saw Warface
Brennen Heart
and Zany
And D-Fence a couple of minutes Really
What do you think of Foolish?
I enjoy it really much
I had no expectations but
the most fun thing was the line-up
First Warface
and then Brennan Heart
While you normally would switch them in the line-up
That was different but fun
And Zany also with old school songs
Everything mixed together
I had also a good time but
I think the location was too big for the amount of people that were there
True, but I love to have space
Yes I agree
It was not at the main hall at De Brabanthallen
The hall was very wide
in stead of the length
The stage was very nice
The sound was also a little bad
Yes?
Yes you can here that also in my video
I think you're right
It was not loud
But we had a great time
It isn't a long video unfortunately

Interview with Silenciados Director Nacho González - Duration: 22:41.
Welcome! How are you?
Hello, good night. How are you?
Well, this is actually the first time I hear that story.
Nacho it's the diminutive of Ignacio, at least here in Spain, and that's where it comes from.
It doesn't have much story to it, as far as I know.
To be an artist I guess the inspiration it's the same for all those who are, let's say, in this worlds.
That being the need of telling, sharing, and for trying to spread certain messages to as much people as possible.
. I think it's that need, mostly to convey, to create and to communicate.
Well, the inspiration comes from from many different places, depending a bit from, let's say
the discipline we're referring to.
Like for those who make theater, the inspiration comes from trying to watch other people,
seeing shows and watching the public's reaction and wanting to rice them, motivated and somehow stimulate them.
Musically, I don't follow any particular artist.
I simply listen one or two artists by season, and like that, depending on which of my records you listen to
it sounds completely different. I don't have idols, I am fan of no one.
I don't have a line to follow.
Simply I get inspiration by my life, my experiences, the people who surround me and mostly the reaction
of the public I found; but always depends on each discipline.
I'm not inspired or focused the same on music or theater like I'm with producing audio-visuals.
What inspired me... well this it's a little more complex.
What really inspired me was watching the news and newspapers and seen that at the end of each year,
there's always news about women who were kill at the hands of their parents and news about certain TV ads
that were removed for being sexist or offensive towards women and did never appear any info
never appeared nothing on the contrary defending men; unlike it, there were campaigns ridiculing men in those situations.
And obviously by logic that there's men dying at the hands of their partners.
So when I realized that there was only info about women being abuse and murdered,
I started looking for those other data, that didn't appear anywhere.
I found a buck of associations, Facebook groups, were people say they were abuse too;
and see that in nowhere appear this data, this information, it didn't appear anywhere. That's when I have the idea of creating this,
because there was nothing like these 3 years a go there wasn't
any documental or any material related on men who also get abused.
And even then I didn't have, and I don't have, big audio-visuals mediums, I don't have a big movie production. I thought if I could do something I should do it.
Fortunately it was my own studio who did it, and my own studio is composed by my wife and I.
That was a big advantage. And what I wanted to exploit.
the fact that we have small mediums that were enough to share awareness to this problem.
Thank to that we were able to push it through, basically that the studio is only me and my wife,
if not I would have been very very difficult to get it out.
Well I can answer the first one. It took me 2 years to produce the movie.
Between searching the information, contacting associations, victims, professionals,
the time I took us to find financing, the filling and the post production.
Approximate 2 years total. That's one side and for the other, it wasn't difficult for us to find people.
What we struggle the most, was to find men who were abused physically. Because they're the ones that have more difficult to recognize it, or to face it.
And we have a lot of who wanted to speak anonymously but we didn't want to show blurred face in the documentary.
We didn't want people to think that they were actors speaking, as it could be anyone behind that blurred face.
So it was fairly easy to find people to collaborate. In fact, at the beginning it was going to be 12 to 13 people, at the end they were 26
and a lot of them were left out. The biggest problem was to find men abused physically. Psychologically and institutionally, we had docents to not say hundreds of
volunteers to participate in the documentary.
The 99% of the work has been covered by me and my wife. He has done absolutely everything, well almost everything; here I just forgot the screenwriter;
that also have spent he's fair amount hours of work in his cave. The soothing was done between my wife and me.
The screenwriting was done by Angel Luis Arjona, who worked in other projects of gender, historical memory, in other very interesting projects.
But all the technical parts have done between my wife and me. The filming, the post production, the montage, the sound, the color treatment.
Absolutely everything.
Our intention was to get founds to film it, because even when we have the most part of the equipment necessary and the knowledge on how to film it,
it was a few technical parts beyond our reach, economically speaking. And the idea of the crowdfunding was to finance that part however...
Well knowing you'll ask this next question, we were financially boycotted too.
I think it was in just five days. Five days. The campaign was made a Monday and that Friday, when we already got €1500,
that same Friday based in a massive attack from Twitter, it was remove the project from Verkami.
We don't know. What Verkami did was cancel the project without any notice, notifications, clarification or any statement about it.
They just told us that we were receiving many attacks. Then we did saw on Twitter that there were a lot of profiles saying it was going to be a sexist documentary,
and that Verkami should be ashamed to shelter our project, etc, etc. But we didn't have any official answer from Verkami. We tried to ask for an explanation,
and they just said that they didn't need to give us any explanation. Even when they helped to build our project.
Yes, this accounts are still open in our page http://www.silenciados.org They're still open, the channels to financing, because even after the
filming when we're trying to screen it in different cities of Spain, we still have not raise the money that we invested on it.
We have not managed to cover the expenses. At the beginning we got like €5000 and with that we barely, barely cover the expenses of the filming,
but there are many expenses around it generated by the post production, displacements, festival presentation's, etc, etc.
That are still not covered. So those accounts are open in our page. As a PayPal like a bank account.
Well, the movie was first released at the end of 2017, I think in September.
August or September, I'll need to check it, right now I can't remember.
But it was first screened in Latin American Festivals.
It was shown in Chile, Los Angeles, in Uruguay too, and in Bolivia. In Bolivia.
That was in Latin-American and in Spain the first screening was, of course the release in Barcelona,
that Tyler already got news about it.
Actually we did. We were expecting boycotts to happen. Because, we saw it in social media. They were organizing
and moving to block the documentary. So we were waiting for it,
even we had private security, but still we had all the problems that you already know.
Basically the people present and us, abusers, murderers, harassers. And when the police escort them,
, because they thought we couldn't screen it anymore
because it was time of the next movie, but the next movie was move in advance by the director of the cinema
to show "Silenciados" if there were any inconvenience, because we already know what could happen.
When they left, they left singing "no legs, no arms, tear apart machos"
And screaming "machete to the macho" and those kind of slogans.
No, because right now we haven't had any more.
We have the one in Albacete, that they managed
to block it before.
But we still have not an official statement on who was. Who blocked it.
So we were going to show it in Albacete in a municipal cinema, and the night before, we were notified that it could not be
done because all the treats a pressure, but we have never known where these threats and pressure come from.
A week later we did show it in a private cinema in Albacete, and because
we did the way that we did it, like in a surprise kind of way, and also I guess by also having the police was at the door,
there wasn't any problems. We could show it.
We fill the seats to the top. Here we didn't have that
aggressive and violent problem that we had with people at the door. But the first screening that we had planned was cancelled
while we don't know we're came the pressure, the boycott.
Well, first of all I want to say that I'm not a specialist nor an expert
on gender violence, or feminism, nothing like that.
The truth is I don't know who inspires who but this movement it's very generalized.
Because the same problem that we have with "Silenciados", "The Red Pill" had it too,
so did "Borrando a Papá" or "Borrando a la Familia" that sure it had it,
that's a new production from the creators of "Borrando a Papá" in Argentina were they also have their good
amount of trouble pushing it trough.
Yes. The problem that we have is that's very hard to protect in Spain;
well, I imagine outside would be the same; trying our luck we're trying to present it in different cities
in Spain, like Madrid, Malaga, Granada, Barcelona again;
were an association that wants to repeat it there; Zaragoza, Leon, Valencia.
There are some cities in where we are working to screening it, but it's very hard.
On average we spend a month to prepare each screening.
And we can't find a faster way to do it because we encounter walls and elements against us.
But we're trying to screening it in more Spanish cities.
My first response is that before criticize and give your opinion about something
mostly about a public product, you'll need to see it.
At minimum know the content of it.
We need to remember that even when it was blocked Verkami in the beginning, when we've yet to write the
the script there were people who claim to have watched it and said it was really machista.
So, obviously, we know they're lying, they don't have any bases when they accuse
that the project is machista. And I'll say that people should just try to watch it.
We invite everyone to come in. We don't put any books at the door for anyone with
any type of ideology to enter and watch it.
In Albacete and Barcelona between people who watch it there where some who at the beginning wasn't in favor of the documentary
that went there to give their opinion on it, and they realized about the real content of it, and that 40% of the movie
demonstrated that women are still not protected by this law, which is absurd and works for nothing but fill pockets.
That the number of women killed by their husbands and/or their ex boyfriends have not change with this law.
I would say try to see it and give their opinion on it because it could be that we're wrong,
I'm not saying that we have the absolute truth, but before criticize it first watch it then give your opinion.
First we don't have a physical format in mind. We are trying to find a distributor that get the documentary to Latino America.
Well Latino America and United States, of course. But it's been equally hard. We haven't found a distributor that deeps itself into this to export it.
It's true that we have open conversations with different associations from all the globe, so possibly little screenings will happen in little
cities in little private cinemas around the world. However, the plan is, if in a few months we have not been able to generalize it,
we will upload it in payed platforms and download platforms, so that everyone can watch it.
Yes. It's already translated in English. We already have the subtitles, that it's one of the contributions of one of the patrons.
We had had many contributions, like contributing with their house when we were to their city, those who helped us giving their cars,
and it were a patron in particular who helped us with the expenses of the subtitles of the movie.
And like that we have it subtitle it in English, yes.
It's one of our plans, the fact is that, seems like in this topic, we think the big
platforms and big companies won't get involved with this kind of project. But we'll try everything of course.
Well I have a serious problem, and is that I have more plans and projects that I can do in a lifetime. That's my problem basically, mostly because I can't pay them all.
Yes, we have lots of plans for other projects and we don't know with which one we can carry on.
We have that sickness that makes us not wanting to stop creating new projects. And we can't say what they are about,
because the curse that says if you tell what's about the project, it won't come out.
They're waiting to see how goes with what we have going on right now.
A lot of work no?
Yes. A lot.
In Twitter we have the official account of "Silenciados" that is @DocuSilenciados Then we also have Facebook accounts.
We can be find like Nacho Gonzales and Documental Silenciados. And then of course we have our
easiest contact place, we we try to share all the information, that is http://www.silenciados.org
Mr. Gonzalez, thanks very much for the opportunity!
Thank to you. It was a pleasure. Thanks to you Tyler, for giving us this precious time.
And thanks of course to Miu for being the translator, without you we wouldn't have been able to understand nothing.
You're welcome, you're welcome!
