Waching daily Jan 13 2018

Hi! I'm Anastasia. Welcome to a Touch five markers tutorial.

Now I'm gonna show you how I draw very dark skin tone

First I'm adding 65 Lace Blue shade in places where the most dark shadows would be

But don't worry it would not stay blue I will cover it with a 91 natural oak shade.

It would be the base color and the most dark shade that I will use

I leave some emty spaces on the cheeks, nose, chin and forehead to apply another lighter color

These are places on the face that are most illuminated so they would be lighter

So I have covered the places with 97 Rose Beige shade.

And now I'm blending edges with a 107 Sand shade.

But you can do it with a same 97 shade to!

And if you don't have such colors you can use any shades that are close to mine.

it is totally okay

so I keep on blending and make it darker and darker

but I'm trying to leave some light spaces in the middle

I have colored eyes with a same 97 shade

and the lips with a 16 Coral pink shade

I'm using 65 lace blue shade again to make some shadows more darker and agter it I will cover them with a 91 shade

adding some shadows to the lips

I decided to make highlights on her cheeks and forehead smaller

so I'm adding again 91 shade

and then blending it with 107 shade

For inking I wanted to use my refilable brushpen with a black inks so the paper that I'm using now

is not special marker paper that why it's really hard to blend now

And if you are using special marker paper it would be much easyer

I have colored hair in the same way

First I have added 65 lace blue shade for the deep shadows

then I have added 97 rose beige shade for highlights

and after it I have added 91 natural oak shade for mid tone.

and yeah.. without inking this illustration look a little bit creepy

So that's all about how to draw very dark skintone with a Touch Five markers

I hope it will be useful!

Continue watching if you wanna see how I drew the line art and the highlights and the final result

Thank you for being with me today. See ya in the next video!

I love all of you! Bye-bye

How To Make Money As A Travel Photographer - Duration: 6:25.

a lot of people love photography and a lot of people love to travel if you like

both of those then you'll really like to follow this guy who travels and takes

photos for a living his name is brendan van song and this is his youtube channel

it's a really good vlog because he talks about his income tells you where he's

going tells you about the good things and the

bad things you can really get a feel of exactly what he does I'll show you his

portfolio I'll also show you some of his income reports and where he gets the

different money from he gives advice where to start and I'll just go through

that and I'll give my advice because I've been traveling a long time now and

also doing photography and I'll just add a little bit to that so let's start with

his portfolios and I'll put a link to all of these below on YouTube he's got a

vlog and he talks about things like here how much he spends and how much he earns

also the different countries he just goes to so many different countries here

iwe've got the Philippines Namibia PI in Thailand Patagonia I know he went to

Iceland then here Glasgow and then there's one Austria as well so he talks

about the different places and shows you how he takes photographs in them and

then also some things here some mistakes and what to do on a rainy day things

like that so lots of different advice on his Instagram channel you can see some

samples of his photographs and I would say that his style is quite a bit with

water and long exposures you can see here that these pictures have got water

flow and because of the long exposure it looks like a smooth flow so I think

that's pretty much his style in a lot of these he also tries to go for that

golden hour in the morning and in the evening to get more of a warm

temperature with his photographs he's got a blog as well and in that he

gives lots of advice and also shows more about his pictures and gives some more

information about how he shot them one of the great things is he does give his

income reports you can see the different ways he actually gets income in eight

different ways he calls it an octopus so you've got editorial commercial then

assignments stock photography social media his blog and his vlog and then

also a little bit from affiliate marketing so he explains the different

ways he gets it I think two of them stand out that the summer months he gets

a lot of assignments and he charges $400 a day for those and also he has started

getting a lot more money from social you can't see in this month but then in a

couple of months later than this video he got four thousand dollars for that

month from social media so he said that's gradually going up his income

really goes up and down a lot one month I remember he got $15,000 and another

month was almost nothing and it seems if I average out the ones that I've seen

maybe he gets around $6,000 a month so it's still pretty good but he's been

doing this quite a while but if you learn from his mistakes then hopefully

you could make good income on it so he talks about his advice on how to start

the first thing he says is start near your home where you can take some photos

and you're not spending too much money get good at it and use microstock which

is my advice as well you can get to learn and earn a little bit of income

from microstock when you start once you start to travel his advice is go to the

cheap photogenic countries like in Southeast Asia and South America and he

recommends a few including the Philippines which I think I'd recommend

as well because you've got some really beautiful islands one thing he mentioned

in the past was to go to conventions where you can

actually get clients and he's got one regular client that he gets about $1,000

a month from so it seems like good advice if I add my advice to his advice

I would say pace yourself he goes off to so many different countries but that can

get expensive you can really pay a lot of money by traveling my experience in

traveling is if you stay somewhere a month you get a much better deal on your

accommodation it can be 1/2 or 1/3 and also one of the big expenses is flights

and just other forms of travel and if you keep going from one country to

another that really can soon add up and you also even cut down on things like

food because the longer you stay somewhere you find cheap places to buy

food as well as doing travel photography if you're staying in one place for a

long time you can just set up a table in the shade somewhere and do a bit of

tabletop photography and you can also find a model and do a bit of model

photography because if you're just going for the golden hours in the morning and

the evening then you've got a lot of the day wasted and you could be using that

to take extra photos I think at the beginning it's a matter of getting a lot

of photos out there on microstock and get a bit of income so that you're

actually earning as much as you're spending and then you can travel more

South Asians Learn To Cook Biryani With Their Moms - Duration: 5:49.

- You know if you're having like curry and rice

and you mix the perfect bite together,

that's what it tastes like.

(upbeat playful music)

- Today we are going to make Hyderabadi Biryani.

It is a traditional dish.

It's made in the technique of Dum Pukht.

It's just spicy and it's full of flavors.

It's more of a festive dish in our family.

My son here is going to cook with me.

- I really, really love Biryani.

It's like probably one of my favorite dishes ever.

- I've never made Biryani before.

- I've always had my mom to cook it for me.

If you see all these ingredients,

it looks like most Indian food is really complicated

and has a whole bunch of spices.

- I've cooked a bunch with my mom,

so I'm pretty confident I can follow along.

- She is fun, but she's kind of lazy sometimes.

I like pampering her but now she learn herself.

- So we're gonna get started with making the rice.

While the rice is cooking, we are going to do

the preparation for the gravy or the curry of it.

You got it?

So we're gonna heat the water,

we have rice here, it's approximately a cup full of rice

and it's washed.

We are going to put the rice into a pot of water.

- To make Chicken Biryani,

first you prepare the chicken, marinate it.

Take three teaspoons of the vegan butter.

And we add spices to it.

We need garlic.

- This is garlic, right?

- Yes.

- (laughing)

- And give me a knife.

And then you see we grated the ginger.

Three teaspoon of garam masala.

Half teaspoon...

- There's cinnamon in Biryani?

I would not have expected.

- One teaspoon salt.

- I have worked with the spices a little bit.

Normally my mom will mix them all

into a little container for me,

like take one spoon of this spice mix

and put it in my food. So I don't have to really

think about it too much.

- So we take the cilantro and mint,

and we chop it into very fine pieces.

Mix it, we're making like a paste

so you can put a little bit of water in there.

So basically what we do, is we take the chicken

and we stab it a little bit.

So now you see, we are marinating the chicken.

In Indian cooking, a lot of it is love and affection

that you give to the chicken.

- You got marinade on my phone. (laughing)

- Now we are going to take some salt,

put like a quarter spoon, teaspoon.

Let's put two bay leaves in it.

- They give a nice flavor to it.

And then we put four cloves.

- How many did you put?

- I put around five of them.

Let's snap this into two because this is pretty big.

We'll put some cinnamon in it.

- So you take the cardamom out here first

and then we crush them.

- How are you doing that so easily?

- You just open it, just like you open a peanut.

- Now this is all seasoned, let's close it.

Put the heat on little bit more than hot.

- Just fry them a little bit

with a little bit of mixed nuts.

When the cumin is roasting a little,

then you just put all the rice

and fry the rice a little bit.

So go ahead and saute.

- So far so good (laughing) yeah.

- So while this is gonna cook,

let's talk preparing the vegetables.

See, that's how good he is.

He knows how to do the onions.

- In this, we usually put two medium onions.

Yeah, don't make too small.

(chopping)

- So it kinda came apart.

- (whispering) Yes!

Done!

- (laughing) he's got more practice than I have.

- That just means I have to do all the cutting at home.

- Did you already do your whole onion? Oh man.

- Of course I'm waiting for him to bring a girl home.

Look, I've taught him well. (laughing)

- So the chicken has been marinated for an hour.

Let's take the marinated chicken

and we put it like this.

(sizzling)

- Alright so, we will put some ghee.

Ghee is purified butter, it's like love.

- Every time you say cardamom, you wanna say lychee.

But you like stop and then you're like cardamom.

- What is haldi in English?

- Tumeric.

- I have to like Google what something is in English

so I can buy it at a store.

- (laughing)

Nice, nice, nice.

- Beans?

- I am putting the beans in.

Now let's put some yogurt.

- Normally, we're like cooking, she's like

"So how's like the job applications going?"

and like where's this and where's that.

So I'm like forced to be here and be interrogated.

- Answer my question!

- It's cooked on one side, flip it.

- Alright, so I think our vegetables are done.

Now we are going to do Dum Pukht of it.

We have some heated milk.

So the warm milk and the saffron

is just going to release the flavor and the color.

- Now you put like one spoon of rice in a layer.

- We'll put some cilantro.

Let's spread the layer of rice.

- Then you put your chicken on top of it.

I'm gonna top it with rice.

So you check it, like a little bit of rice

and see if it's cooked.

- And so we're gonna leave it for 20 minutes

and it's ready to sow.

- (applause) Yay!

- Okay, so which one is yours now?

- See, you can't tell, that means it's good.

So this is yours.

That's really good.

- Yours looks more covered in saffron than mine.

- So tastes like Biryani, like good Biryani.

- (laughing) I wanna try yours.

- You had mine.

- You did a good job.

- Yeah, yours is better.

- We need a spoon for you, okay there we go.

- That's a good one.

It was just ghee in it.

- (laughing)

- Eating Biryani, really tastes very good

when you use your hands.

- If you've never had Biryani,

you should definitely try Biryani.

Even if you can't make it at home, well now you can.

- Maybe just have the recipe written up

and I would totally feel comfortable

cooking this on my own.

Maybe send her pictures of it,

be like, "Is this done?"

- She did awesome, and she's usually a very good learner.

(upbeat music)
