How To Understand English Movies - Improve Your English - Duration: 9:22.

Hi, I'm Jennifer, certified English teacher and communications expert.

In this video, I'm going to share 3 tips on how to understand English movies.

At the end of the video, I'll share with you a bonus exercise that you can do to instantly

improve your listening skills.

Alright, let's get started.

Tip 1 Listen for the Main Idea

So let's make it simple.

When you're listening to an English movie, you don't need to understand every single

word in order to understand the overall idea.

And in fact, this is how native English speakers watch movies.

I don't listen to every single word, and I don't understand every single word.

In fact, many times when I'm watching a movie, I'll turn to my friend and I'll say: what

did they say.

what did they say.

And my friend will say.

I dunno.

We both didn't hear what they said.

Now, do you think we're going to pause the movie, rewind, turn on subtitles, or start

saying Ohh I guess we'll never know how to do it.

No, of course not.

You know what we do.

We keep watching the movie.

We don't care.

The only time I would remind the movie is if it was the vital moment.

They just revealed a big secret or a big plot twist.

And I didn't understand.

That's the only time I would rewind and listen again.

So don't worry if you don't understand every single idea.

But you should be able to follow the overall plot.

The overall movie.

If you're watching a movie and you realize you don't understand it, well then likely

that movie is just too complex for you at this time and I would suggest stop watching

it and try something different.

Or try a short TV show instead.

Tip 2 Don't Rely on Subtitles

Ok, subtitles are a band-aid fix.

Which means they don't actually solve the problem, they just temporarily cover up the

problem.

But, your problem is, you're not able to understand fast English.

Natural English.

When you use subtitles, you're actually not improving your listening skills anymore.

At that point you've switched and your brain is now focusing on reading.

Your brain cannot focus on two different things at once.

So while it's focusing on reading, it is not focusing on your listening skills.

So, to be honest, I think relying on subtitles is the worst thing you could do.

And it doesn't solve the problem.

It's an easy fix, a quick fix, but not a long term solution.

Because the reason why you want to understand English movies is so you can also understand

fast paced English conversation.

Because the language they use in movies, is the same language that's used in everyday

situations, like a business meeting, ordering food at a restaurant, going to a networking

event.

All of these use the same style of English in movies.

So when you're at a business meeting you cannot ask for subtitles.

When at you're at a restaurant, you cannot ask the waiter to write down everything they're

saying and give it to you.

So because of that, don't rely on subtitles.

It doesn't solve the problem.

Tip 3 Practice with Short Clips

Because I said you can't rely on subtitles, at the beginning watching a 2 hour movie is

probably going to overwhelm you.

It's just too long.

It's too much practice.

It's like if you were starting to speak English and instead of just having a short 30 second

conversation you gave a 2 hour speech.

That's just too much.

It's over whelming.

So instead, find a short clip on YouTube.

So maybe it could be the movie trailer.

The movie trailer is going to be about 3 minutes long and it's going to be a combination of

graphics and speaking so that 3 minutes is not speaking the entire time.

Or you can just watch a clip of an older movie that's now posted on YouTube and just watch

a very short portion.

And at that point you can watch it again and again and really study it.

And become familiar with the type of language they're using.

Listen for the expressions.

Listen for the pronunciation changes.

Hear those reductions.

And from there, if you can understand a short clip, there's no reason why you can't understand

longer and longer clips.

But first start small, become comfortable with the style of English and work your way

up towards longer and longer clips until you're finally able to watch a full movie without

subtitles and be able to understand the overall idea.

That's your goal.

Bonus Exercise Transcribe Short Clips

Ok, this is the best thing you can do to improve your listening skills.

Step 1, find a clip on YouTube that uses natural English.

So a fast paced clip.

I recommend using the TV show Friends, because there are so many different Friend's episodes

available on YouTube and the language they use in Friends is the same language you'll

hear in everyday English.

Step 2 Listen to 10 seconds of the clip.

That's it.

Just 10 seconds.

But step 3.

Write down exactly what you hear, word for word.

That's transcribe.

Transcribe the clip.

Write it down word for word.

Listen to the prepositions, the pronunciation changes, get everything.

And step 4, is listen again and again until you have the 10 seconds.

You're not going to be able to transcribe a 10 second clip the first time you watch

it.

In fact, when I do this exercise, with English clips, it takes me 3, 4, 5 times to hear every

single word.

And then, step 5, is turn on the subtitles and see how close you were to the actual clip.

And then watch again and listen along with the subtitles.

So you're listening to subtitles as practice.

It's ok to use subtitles when you're practicing English, but not in a real situation when

you're just watching a movie for a leisurely activity.

That's when subtitles do more harm than good.

But when you're practicing, absolutely use the subtitles.

Do this exercise every single day.

It will only take you 5 minutes.

But you're going to learn so much.

Your brain is going to pick up on all these pronunciation changes, expressions used, you're

going to train your ear to hear the natural reductions, and the expressions and it is

such great practice.

And it only takes 5 minutes.

So there you have it.

You're well on your way to understanding English movies.

Just listen for the main idea, don't rely on subtitles, and start with short clips.

And then to practice, every day spend 5 minutes transcribing clips.

Alright, so I'm dying to know.

What's your favourite English movie.

CS:GO - ELEAGUE Major Pick'Em Predictions - Duration: 5:05.

In today's video, you will see my ELEAGUE Boston Major 2018 predictions.

By the way from the last major, I got this Silver award.

Let's go for the gold this time.

Hey guys, NadeKing here.

I will show you my thoughts and risky predictions about Boston major group stage.

We gonna fill up the in-game PickEm challenge and also I am going bet some money on Thunderpick

as they sponsored this video and let me bet on their site to try out my luck.

But before we start, I am giving away for you guys this M4A1-S Dark Water.

In order to win it, just like the video, make sure you have notifications on and comment

your trade link under the video.

I will pick a random winner in a couple of days and announce it on Twitter.

Let's start off on a Thunderpick site.

Firstly, make sure you are at least 18 years old, register yourself user using your e-mail.

Then choose your nickname and confirm your e-mail.

As someone had taken NadeKing I went with NadeKing7 and confirmed the e-mail.

Now if you want some extra free money use my code "nadeking", it gives you 5% bonus

on your first deposit.

Here you can bet on the major games and play roulette.

Let me show you the roulette first.

As you can see, 4 options to choose here.

Either 2x, 3x, 5x or 30x.

Let's test it out and put 11 coins to 2x.

And I missed, of course, it has to hit 5x now.

But for now, we head on to the matches page and choose CS:GO from here.

You can see 16 matches available for betting right now.

But we are interested to bet on some major matches.

You can see the possible winnings right here and of course, I am going to pick some really risky ones.

This is my own money about 200 dollars I am betting right now.

If I lose it, I lose it.

I think in the first match-up Quantum has a chance against VP, so let's

bet a bit on Quantum.

Supergeneral.

Now I also feel, mousesports will win Astralis in the first match.

Just my gut feeling.

Will see what happens.

The third bet will be on the BIG, I hope they are again well prepared and will win Liquid

who is playing with their coach.

And for the last bet, I am going to put my money on Cloud9, although this match should

be a real thriller, it can really go to either side.. would be fun to see at least one overtime.

After all, we should just enjoy good CS.

So, these are my pretty risky bets for the first round single matchups..

Will see how it goes, I am happy if I nail even two of them because the winning money

will be pretty good as I chose rather risky bets.

Next up the PickEm challenge inside CS:GO.

This is how the first stage went for me.

It was pretty bad result overall, but till the third round we had mouz 3:0 possibility

and Avangar 0:3 possibility, since then all just went downhill.

But now to the next stage.

Here you can see all the 16 teams you can choose.

For the 3:0 I am going to pick mousesports again.

I feel they have the power to surprise everyone with straight up 3:0 to the playoffs and secondly

I don't lose easy points, when Faze or SK again loses one match.

This is my strat and this is why mouz is a good pick for this position in my opinion.

Next up 0:3.

I am going for a really risky pick once again, but I feel its either Quantum or VP and as

they match up in the first game.

I feel VP gonna lose the first game.

This is just what my gut tells me.

VP is, of course, a really strong team with lots of experience, but I think Boston won't

be their major.

Their home crowd is far away from here.

And now the other seven.

Of course SK, 100%, FaZe.

Then G2 and Cloud9.

Now 3 more free spots.

I feel Gambit is going to perform really strong.

So, they will go through to the playoffs.

And as I love risky picks..

I just have to take Xantares and Space Soldiers to the playoffs.. and Vega Squadron, because

they just have the firepower and they are so

hard team to face just because of their random aggression, which works really well as we

saw in the very first stage of the major.

So here are my rather bullshit picks for Boston group stage.

Feel free to take inspiration.

Although they are really risky.. but I would love to have the golden badge when no one

else has it.. rather than everyone has it, so I go with

these picks.. and the most important points will come from playoff stage, so even if I

fail hard, I can still probably make it even to the gold, if I nail

the playoff stage.

Let's see what the major brings to us, good luck to everybody with their predictions,

feel free to comment your opinions about the major.

We will see you in the next video.

Thanks for watching!

5 POPULAR Types of Japanese SOFUBI toys - Duration: 7:41.

Hello everyone, what's up!

Today I'm bringing you 5 types of sofubi.

Cause, well, there's more, but to keep this video short we'll focus on just five of the main ones.

More than explaining, I'll show them to you.

Let's get started, shall we?

The first type of vinyl I'm going to show you is the most basic.

This is the unpainted vinyl, how it looks right when it leaves the mold.

It's usually called "blank vinyl".

There's a lot of collectors that only collect blank vinyl,

because, well, we could say it's the most pure form of a vinyl toy.

It hasn't been painted by anyone yet.

Depending on the color of the vinyl, sometimes you can even appreciate textures and details

that some pain jobs would hide.

So there's a lot of people that likes collecting these, even if they also buy the painted ones.

But obviously, not everyone sees the value in these unpainted toys.

A lot of guys, especially those that are not used to sofubi

that see these toys with no paint or anything and think they look cheap.

Actually, my friends called these toys "cheap unpainted toys"

Or even...

Well, they went to Nakano Broadway and saw sofubi there,

and for them these were like the toys they used to give for free with some sweets or cereal boxes,

cause they reminded them of the rubber toys you could get with candy or bubblegum back when we were kids.

But yeah, for people who don't understand about toys these toys may look shitty.

But damn, I wish I could get sofubi for free with my cereals!

The next type of sofubi is one of the fan's favorites.

And I'm talking about "clear vinyl".

Clear is basically transparent vinyl,

and it's really cool because it offers many possibilities.

Like, clear vinyl is pulled just like this, transparent.

Crystal clear.

But that's not the only option.

We could, instead of going for just crystal clear,

go for another clear color.

Like in the case of this Wananeko that's clear pink.

Or this Saikobi from Max To Co that's clear and blue at the same time.

But that's not all. There's more, cause

being it transparent, we could insert stuff inside and see them from the outside.

This mini Eyezon, for example,

got glow in the dark vinyl guts inside.

So when you turn off the lights you can see the guts,

but not the toy.

And there's more, cause like every other vinyl toy, these can be painted.

But being clear, we can leave some parts transparent and some with opaque colors.

Like in this toy by Sunguts,

that's like a ray.

And on the back it's painted with opaque colors.

But the tail and the front are clear and the effect it creates is amazing.

You can do very nice gradients.

There's also clear paints that can be used to paint vinyl.

And one popular colorway is the clear rainbow.

You take a clear toy, and paint a rainbow-like gradient on it using these clear paints.

The toy remains clear but with rainbow colors and it's just beautiful.

This type of vinyl I have here is very special.

This is called "glitter" vinyl.

It's basically clear vinyl with glitter and sparkles applied.

So we have a toy that is clear but at the same time has a lot of shine thanks to the sparkles.

And the thing is that we can also pull the vinyl in one specific color,

could be just clear, or clear pink, clear purple or whatever,

and apply the glitter in a specific color too.

For example, in this Maneki Wananeko which is a figure by myself,

the vinyl is crystal clear but the sparkles are green.

Or this Blobpus toy, which is totally transparent but has red sparkles that are also very dense.

I think this is very Christmas-ish.

The next type is also a fan favorite.

And it's a little bit more complex and expensive to produce.

It's marble vinyl.

The process for making these is quite different.

There's two ways of doing this.

One is by simply mixing two or more liquid vinyl colors

You can see the result in these two toys.

You can actually see how these were made in the video blog I recorded at the factory.

But yeah basically by mixing two or more types or colors of vinyl.

And the vinyl spreads through the mold randomly depending on how you pour it and on the toy's textures.

It doesn't create a very precise effect,

but it looks good because you can notice the various colors.

But then we have the real marble effect,

that follows a more meticulous process,

and that by mixing vinyl colors will give us an effect that looks more like real marble.

The vinyl spreads creating veins, which is what reminds of real marble.

And the thing is that as in every other sofubi toy, you can paint on these too.

So if you have a marble toy and paint just some details as in the case of this L'Amour Supreme's Mongolion

you can get a very nice result.

Though the unpainted marble is cool as it is, too.

The last type has many fans as well.

I'm talking about "glow in the dark" vinyl.

Basically toys that glow in the dark.

And just like the other types, this one has a lot of potential.

The most basic GID color is yellow-ish like this.

But of course we can leave some GID areas and paint a few details.

As in this Tofu Kid by Comet Debris.

Here the eyes, tongue and hat were painted and the rest was left GID.

But there's more. There are other GID vinyl colors.

Like in this Maneki Wananeko that's green GID.

There's also pink glow, blue glow, red glow...

Let's say GID is not limited to the yellow-ish color.

And well, same as they painted a few details on this Tofu Kid,

we can find toys that are almost fully painted but where the artist left some details unpainted,

like the eyes, or the claws or any other body part so it could glow in the dark.

There's so many cool things that can be done with GID.

And I mean, it glows in the dark!

When you have many and turn the lights off in the room it just looks fantastic!

And I guess this is it!

I wanted to show you just 5 types of vinyl today,

cause like I said, though there's more I didn't want this video to be too long.

I'll show you more types in another video, ok?

From these 5 types, which one is your favorite?

Do you have any of these in your collection?

Then please leave me a comment and tell me,

cause I really love talking about toys.

Anyway guys, see you next Thursday in a new video! Adios!

Dogs learn by playing. How do dogs learn. - Duration: 4:37.

in this video I'm going to explain how dogs or animals learn all there are more

coming hello dog lover my name is Saro I'm a dog trainer also coach dog owners

welcome if this is your first time make sure to subscribe to my channel and hit

the bell icon as well so you will get notified as soon as I post my next video

so how do dogs learn how the animals learns in general animals and dogs learn

in variety of form but mainly they learn based on play and praise today we're

going to talk about play play I believe is a natural form of learning they do it

automatically naturally when since they are born they learn from their brothers

and sisters from their parents here's an example of beagle parents playing their

dogs and if you watch carefully they're learning a lot of stuff during the play

so play is very important for any animal including humans this applies to birds

as well so here's another example of how birds learn by play a bird's environment

can encourage flexible centers like humans birds seem to learn new things by

playing they're very playful and curious we are not only interested in new things

but also quite ailing it happen the Tobias hurt stretch for everything they

see and they want to play and explore the physical effects and consequences of

the actions researchers noticed and Kia parents often try to put one object

inside another so they give them a related challenge a selection of two

fits to the floor the younger birds are fascinated trying to put the toys into

the tubes there's no food reward just curiosity

and they seem to get better at learning which device hit which tubes

so treats and tools like shock collars and prom colors are not the tools that

we need to use to train our dogs in general that's because they are short

cut if you could try to teach and train our dogs more naturally it would be more

beneficial and we will see long-lasting results when we focus on naturally

training our dogs so when I talk about training our dogs using play what I mean

by that is when you play with your dog not only your dog is enjoying that time

because it's playing it also allows you to interact with your dog and manually

interact with your dog that amplifies the results of your training so now you

have a dog who's happy and also is interacting with you one on one natural

so I hope you like this video if you like this video give it a thumbs up

share and also comment let me know if you have a dog who is very playful have

you ever tried to train your dog using play did you know that you could train

your dog using play but remember if you want to become an educated dog lover and

have a healthy and happy dog consider subscribing to my channel and until next

time have fun with your dog

The Worst Video Games Of 2017 - Duration: 5:47.

Nobody sets out to make a bad game.

Video games—even shoddy ones—take a lot of time, energy, and money to create.

Who wants to waste all that on a substandard product?

But things don't always go according to plan.

All it takes is one rushed deadline, unforeseen technical hurdle, or poor decision to tank

an otherwise promising game.

Even in a year bursting with great games, a few duds are bound to sneak through.

Mass Effect: Andromeda

No other game in 2017 crumbled under the weight of fans' expectations quite like Mass Effect:

Andromeda.

After Mass Effect 3 wrapped up Commander Shepard's saga with one of the most divisive endings

in video game history, the Mass Effect faithful looked to Andromeda to restore the franchise

to its previous glory.

And then, the game arrived.

The action-heavy combat earned positive marks, but bugs and glitches ran rampant.

Critics and players found fault with Andromeda's facial animations, while many criticized the

game for being boring and wrote off its world-expanding side quests as filler.

It should've been the triumphant return of video gaming's best and most compelling space

opera, and it isn't.

Not even close.

"I'm sorry, Scott.

I know this must be a blow."

Yooka-Laylee

Nostalgia alone isn't enough to make a good game.

Just look at Yooka-Laylee.

In the lead-up to its release, the developer assured backers and fans that it would be

just like the 3D platformers of the Nintendo 64 and PlayStation eras.

Yooka-Laylee promised to immerse players in colorful, playground-like worlds to explore

and collect as many trinkets as they could find.

But players quickly realized that it didn't only capture the old Nintendo 64 games' strengths.

It preserved all of their weaknesses, too.

The unwieldy camera received well-deserved scorn from reviewers.

So did the stereotypical levels, vague puzzles, and tedious gameplay cycle.

Yooka-Laylee is more like a time capsule than a reinvention: for nostalgia hounds, it can

be fun to look at, but it probably should've stayed buried.

Friday the 13th: The Game

In 2015, Gun Media announced it had secured the license for Friday the 13th, then took

to Kickstarter and racked up the money it needed to make Friday the 13th: The Game a

reality.

But while many stories have happy endings, Friday the 13th isn't one of them.

When the game launched in summer 2017, it barely worked.

As a multiplayer game, it required other people to play, and thanks to a larger-than-anticipated

crowd of aspiring camp counselors, Friday the 13th's servers tanked.

The game never quite recovered.

Even when players could connect, they had problems.

The game's inconsistent frame rate and other graphical glitches ruined Friday the 13th's

creepy atmosphere.

The process for beating Jason is convoluted and never really explained, and the whole

adventure feels repetitive after just a couple of matches.

Friday the 13th: The Game still has a great premise.

Ironically, it's the execution that falls short.

"Ahh, well, that's disappointing."

Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days

Believe it or not, this marks the second time developers have tried to bring Quentin Tarantino's

feature film debut to video game consoles.

Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days is an ambitious take on the property.

In Bloody Days, you enter the scene as one person and, once their tasks are done, rewind

to the beginning of the level and take control of a second gangster.

The first criminal does exactly what you told him to, while you can use the new character

to change the action on the fly.

That's an extremely clever way to translate Reservoir Dogs' fractured, non-linear narrative

into a game.

Or it would be, if it worked.

The rewind system often produces unexpected results, contradicting its own rules and making

gunfights more confusing than they need to be.

It's frustrating, not fun.

It's also full of bugs, and has almost nothing to do with the movie.

A solid gimmick alone does not a good game make.

Troll and I

Troll and I desperately wants to be an epic, heartfelt adventure story about the bond between

its two very different leads.

The gameplay divides responsibilities, making players switch between the titular troll and

his friend by pressing a button.

But creating a real emotional attachment between players and their characters is hard.

It takes a lot of craft--and a working game.

Troll and I has neither.

It's not just the graphics, although the troll has a face only a mama troll could love.

It's the sloppy controls.

It's the mind-numbing prologue.

It's the repetitive, simple combat, tedious "puzzles," and the poorly told story.

Troll and I gives you very little reason to care about its characters, robbing the game

of any potential drama.

"I know, it hurts, doesn't it?"

Vroom in the night sky

The developer of Vroom in the night sky describes the game as "a magical bike action game" in

which, quote, "you become a Magical Girl Luna, and ride a magical bike, to fly around the

night sky and collect Stardusts."

If that sounds like gibberish, you'd better buckle in.

We're just getting started.

When you start, the game asks "Are you the first time to play this game?"

But the shoddy translation is just the beginning.

The game tasks you with flying around on your magic bike, which uses magic gasoline—because

everything in this game is "magical."

Collect enough Stardust and you can buy new bikes.

Occasionally, an enemy witch shows up and challenges you to a race, but the outcome

really doesn't matter.

The environments look like they're ripped from a lazy Nintendo 64 game, while the controls

are disastrous.

After the game became internet-famous for its poor translation, the developer released

an update that "improved" the script.

Unfortunately, the new text is somehow worse.

That's just the kind of game Vroom in the night sky is.

"Really… really… bad."

TV Scenes Where Actors Nearly Died - Duration: 4:04.

Stars are just like us: nowhere near indestructible.

While shooting a TV show can be a relatively cushy job, it can also sometimes be dangerous,

and potentially even fatal.

Here are some actors who were almost slain due to stunts gone wrong, crew carelessness,

or their own near-fatal mistakes.

Matthew Fox While filming a scene for the final episode

of Lost in 2010, star Matthew Fox nearly lost his life, according to co-star Jorge Garcia,

who recounted the ordeal on his podcast about the final season.

In the show's finale, Fox's Jack and Terry O'Quinn's Locke fight on a cliff, and at one

point, Locke stabs Jack.

The show's creative team didn't think a collapsible stunt knife looked convincing on camera, so

they filmed all the fighting with a real knife, and planned to use the collapsible one only

to film the stabbing.

But they forgot to swap out the knives when it came time to shoot the scene, and during

one take, O'Quinn accidentally started to stab Fox with the real deal.

Fortunately, Fox took the stunt coordinator's

advice and wore protective kevlar under his shirt, which likely saved his life.

Mariska Hargitay

Actress Mariska Hargitay prides herself on doing her own stunts on NBC's long-running

police procedural Law and Order: SVU, and for about 10 years, Hargitay did so without

incident, until October 2008, when she "fell wrong" while trying to execute a stunt.

More accurately, she jumped, landed wrong, and fell in such a way that she damaged a

lung, leading to a microscopic bleed.

Over the course of the next three months, her lung slowly started collapsing, and she

eventually required multiple surgeries to repair her lung and reverse the potentially

life-threatening condition.

Kristin Chenoweth

In the summer of 2012, actress Kristin Chenoweth was filming scenes for what was supposed to

be a guest-starring arc on the CBS legal drama The Good Wife.

But a freak accident ended those plans: a piece of the lighting rig came loose and fell

right on her face, knocking her unconscious.

"I was just standing there with my prop phone, and I just remember saying, 'Oh, this phone

is …' That's all I remember."

When she woke up later in the hospital, she learned that she'd fractured her skull and

injured her hip and a rib.

Two years later, she was still in physical therapy to recover from the accident.

Dominic Purcell

In early 2016, Dominic Purcell was filming scenes in Morocco for the revival of Prison

Break.

In a bizarre turn of events, a piece of the set broke free and fell right on top of the

actor's head.

"Blood was just pouring all over me, and then my stunt guy came up to me, and he says, 'Well,

here's the thing: your head's cut open, I can see your skull…"

Purcell suffered a broken nose and a minor head injury.

But the show must go on: shooting continued as Purcell was airlifted to a large hospital

in Casablanca.

Not long after the accident, Purcell reassured fans on his Instagram page: "Pays to have

a thick skull when an iron bar falls on your head!"

The Brady Bunch

In 1973, The Brady Bunch filmed at the King's Island amusement park in Mason, Ohio.

In the episode, the plan was to have The Bradys take a ride on the Red Racer roller coaster.

To get the shot, the producers wanted to put a camera operator in the front car of the

coaster to catch the actors' real reactions.

Brady Bunch creator Sherwood Schwartz ordered a test run of the coaster with just a camera

mounted on the front car — no camera operator, and no Bradys.

The camera was too high and hit an overhang during the test.

Were it the real deal, the camera operator would have been struck as well, and the ride

could have been dangerous for him and the Bradys.

Ultimately, the camera was rigged in a lower, safer, spot, and the scene was filmed without

a hitch.

Aaron Paul

In the DVD commentary for the first season of Breaking Bad, Aaron Paul revealed that

he was almost crushed while shooting a scene in the desert in front of the show's RV-slash-mobile

meth lab. Paul adjusted his blocking while filming with co-star Bryan Cranston, moving

a few steps away from where a massive rock later fell from on top of the RV.

Turns out, there was a tarp on top of the RV held in place by the rock, and the rock

was dislodged by a strong gust of wind.

As show creator Vince Gilligan notes, a 40-pound rock falling 14 feet on top of Paul could

have ended his life if it wasn't for the last-minute adjustment.

"Bam, I'm like, 'what the hell?'

y'know?"

Straight Celebs Who've Been In Gay Relationships - Duration: 4:03.

The tabloids love to attach labels to Hollywood's biggest stars, especially when it comes to

their choice of intimate partner.

But it's not always as simple as being in or out of the closet, as many high-profile

celebs, just like the general population, are fluid about their orientation.

Here are a few supposedly straight celebs who have allegedly been in gay relationships.

Selena Gomez

While on a break from her on-again-off-again relationship with Justin Bieber in December

2014, Selena Gomez was rumored to be hooking up with the openly bi supermodel Cara Delevingne.

The former Disney darling told Pride Source that she got a kick out of the chatter.

"Honestly, I loved it.

I didn't mind it.

Especially because they weren't talking about other people in my life for once, which was

wonderful."

She also hinted at a hook-up, but didn't give a definitive yes or no ...

"[Delevingne is] incredible and very open and she just makes me open.

She's so fun and she's just extremely adventurous, and sometimes I just want that in my life,

so I didn't mind it.

I loved it."

When asked if she ever questioned her orientation, Gomez replied ...

"Oh, I think everybody does, no matter who they are.

I do, yeah, of course.

Absolutely."

Madonna

You may remember model Jenny Shimizu's relationship with openly bi actress Angelina Jolie back

in their Foxfire days, but the Oscar winner may not be the only A-lister Shimizu has romanced.

According to Shimizu's memoir, she basically acted as a top-secret friend with benefits

for Madonna for years, even while the Queen of Pop was in heavily publicized relationships

with men.

Chrissy Teigen

In a March 2016 episode of Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen asked Chrissy Teigen

one of his signature questions…

"Have you ever dipped in the lady pond?"

The swimsuit model, prolific tweeter, and Lip Sync Battle hostess, who's happily married

to musician John Legend, had this to say:

"Oh!

Maybe doggy-paddled?

Kim Zolciak

In 2010, after denying rumors of a hookup with DJ Tracy Young, The Real Housewives of

Atlanta star Kim Zolciak admitted that she was, in fact, in a lesbian relationship with

the spinner.

Zolciak told Life & Style she doesn't want to be defined by who she is intimate with

"I just think it's too much for me — a woman doesn't define me, nor does a man.

I'm among the millions of parents who have been in a gay or lesbian relationship."

Alas, the romance didn't last: Radar Online reported that Young dumped Zolciak just a

week after confirming the relationship, allegedly because Zolciak was two-timing with her ex.

Marilyn Monroe

This famous bombshell was notorious for her marriages to Arthur Miller and Joe DiMaggio

as well as rumored affairs with President John F. Kennedy and Frank Sinatra, but that

doesn't mean this blonde only preferred gentlemen.

Rumor has it Marilyn Monroe's famous feud with Joan Crawford began after a one-night

stand with the actress, and she allegedly admitted to hooking up with actresses Barbara

Stanwyck and Marlene Dietrich as well.

The Daily Mail reports that the screen legend also had a longstanding relationship with

a woman.

In 1948, Monroe met actress-turned-drama-coach Natasha Lytess.

The pair allegedly embarked on a quiet, physically intimate relationship for four years and were

described as living "as man and wife" for at least two years until Monroe met and married

DiMaggio in 1952.

The Yankee hero reportedly couldn't stand Lytess, calling her "Morticia."

Hugh Hefner

Late Playboy founder Hugh Hefner was notorious for having a type: female, blonde, busty,

and tan.

However, long before The Girls Next Door came knocking, a curious Hef allegedly hooked up

with a man.

According to the book Mr. Playboy: Hugh Hefner and the American Dream, Hefner engaged in

at least one tryst with another guy ...

"One evening in downtown Chicago he was propositioned and, according to [Hefner's friend Eldon]

Sellers, he thought, 'What the hell.'

[Hefner] found it an interesting experience.'"

Charlize Theron

During a July 2017 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen quizzed Charlize Theron about

her love life in his familiar way ...

"Have you ever swum in the lady pond?"

The Oscar-winning actress had just called for this kind of conversation to be destigmatized

before Cohen came out and asked her ...

"It's so strange when we talk so much about it.

It should be normalized by now."

… so her refreshing candor on the matter came as no surprise:

"When I was young, yes.

I feel when you're young, you're just kind of exploring it all, but it was pretty clear

that I really liked dudes."

Jones Snowboards Flagship 162W 2018 Product Video at Blue Tomato - Duration: 3:11.

Hello! My name is Altmanninger Bernhard. Today I introduce you to the Flagship from Jones Snowboards.

The three key facts of the new Jones Flagship are durability, sustainability and performance.

Jones Flagship – the name says it all.

The Flagship is the most significant snowboard of the Jones range of products. 20 years of development went into this board.

And for that reason it's one of the highest coveted freeride snowboards on the market.

This board has a directional shape.

Thus, I have a long nose, a spoon nose.

Spoon Nose, in other words, the nose is shaped like a spoon. We have more or less a difference of 7mm here.

Nose and tail. Thus, I also have a …

… spoon effect at the tail.

That's for a better glide characteristic, more boost in powder and smoother riding.

This board has a directional shape. In other words, the nose is longer than the tail.

It's a hybrid. That means, camber and rocker are combined in this board.

You have a camber from here to there. That leads to more grip under the binding.

I have also a better foothold and a better power-transmission. And then you have a rocker in the nose and in the tail.

What's new about this board? It has basalt stringers.

They are here in the nose and there in the tail.

They give me a better power-transmission in the tail and nose.

All processed synthetic materials inside the board are made of recycled ABS. It's factory de-tuned.

It is factory waxed with Wend natural wax, so you can go right from the shop to the mountain.

The sintered base is highly resistant and a ultra-fast base.

Whereby the base needs care.

In other words, regular waxing is necessary.

Of course, this board is also available in 'Wide' version.

Developed especially for snowboarders with larger feet. This board is also available as a carbon version with the same shape.

However, with another topsheet, another core and more carbon stringers.

The Carbon Flagship is slightly harder than the normal one.
