Gives the Greenlight, Sends Bombers to Pacific in Massive Military Move

The situation in North Korea has the world on high alert � and now the U.S. military

is ramping up its diligence in the region.

As Hawaii was recovering from a false nuclear attack scare and Japan was dealing with similar

jitters, President Trump ordered half a dozen bombers and hundreds of Air Force personnel

to the Pacific, supplementing stealth bombers that have already been moved to the area.

�Six U.S. Air Force B-52H Stratofortress bombers and approximately 300 Airmen from

Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, are deploying to Andersen AFB, Guam, in support of U.S.

Pacific Command�s Continuous Bomber Presence mission,� the Air Force announced on Tuesday.

The small island of Guam is proving to be quite the center of activity for the Air Force

in recent weeks.

�The base in Guam is already home to B-1B Lancers, supersonic bombers carrying the largest

conventional munitions payload of any Air Force bomber,� explained The Daily Caller.

�These powerful aircraft flew across the Korean Peninsula regularly last year, often

angering North Korea, which believes the B-1B is a nuclear-capable bomber,� continued

that report.

The official line is that the Lancers are no longer able to carry nukes.

If that�s changed, the U.S. is certainly keeping the capability close to the vest.

�[T]he United States has physically disabled these aircraft from delivering nuclear weapons

under its bilateral arms control commitments with Russia,� reported The Diplomat.

Kim Jong Un�s regime has pledged to shoot down the aircraft anyway.

An aircraft that nobody disputes is equipped with nuclear weapons is the more advanced

B-2 Spirit, a Cold War era bomber that is designed to slip into enemy territory and

deliver a deadly payload.

�The U.S. sent three B-2 Spirits, nuclear-capable stealth bombers, and 200 airmen to Guam earlier

in January to provide support for the U.S. Pacific Command�s Bomber Assurance and Deterrence

mission,� explained the Caller.

Navy assets haven�t been forgotten.

The Asian Pacific region has become a hotbed of Naval activity, with several formidable

warships now in the vicinity.

�The B-2 bomber deployment was preceded by the deployment of the nuclear-powered Nimitz-class

supercarrier USS Carl Vinson to the Western Pacific,� reported The Daily Caller.

�South Korea expects the carrier to move into position in waters off the Korean Peninsula

around the start of the Olympics in early February.�

The upgraded amphibious assault ship USS Wasp recently arrived in Japan, and the USS Ronald

Reagan, another Nimitz-class, nuclear-powered supercarrier, is already in the region,�

the report concluded.

Theodore Roosevelt famously advised, �speak softly and carry a big stick.� President

Trump may not exactly be the world�s softest speaker, but he does definitely seem to have

the �big stick� part down.

Hopefully, the despot in Pyongyang is starting to get the message.

Ice Skating: Freestyle Stops Tutorial - Duration: 5:08.

Hi guys!

This video is about some freestyle stops, now if you are looking for the classic inside/outside

edge stops, that's another video, check out the description for that.

With this tutorial you'll learn some additional freestyle variations.

Let's see, we have 2 birds, the hawk and eagle stop, two letters, X and V, numbers, backwards

stop and a couple of simpler funny stops.

The Eagle stop: You will use the outside edges of both feet.

These edges.

If you can only do that in one direction, that's totally fine.

The stronger leg needs to be in the front, you just add the weaker leg to hang around

in the back until you get used to the situation.

So start making an eagle in the direction where your stronger leg is in front.

Center your weight, and maybe start sitting down a little bit lower.

If you need practice exercises for the eagle, I have a separate tutorial for that.

When you have found the balance you can prepare for a quick turn.

You'll turn by leaning back and in the same time rotating yourself into the position by

swinging your arms.

Same as the hockey stop, you need to find the balance with the friction.

Just practice leaning back and get confidence with the break to be able to do it fast enough.

Alternatively you can try doing it from going forward.

The Hawk stop: You need one inside edge for this stop.

Let me repeat.

Just this edge, your most confident edge from the most basic hockey stop.

What fools you is that you're going backwards and your legs are kind of crossed in a T position

so it's hard to see it at first.

Start going backwards on one foot and center all your weight on that.

Don't just put your second leg in the front, instead you replace the back leg with it.

The center of your weight remains in the same place, but on a different leg now.

Also don't forget that your inside edge needs to hit the ice so lean forward enough.

That's totally weird at first, I know, and also hard.

As a practice put your stopping leg somewhere next to the other and just try to hit the

ice with the inside edge.

Then do the T position, commit, switch legs quickly and balance with the arms.

Spread them like a hawk.

X-feet: Similarly to the eagle, you use 2 outside

edges.

Your better leg should be the driving leg.

Start doing a regular outside edge stop, even from a curve, then place the weaker leg in

front.

Maybe try the opposite setup, but for me, the weaker leg in front worked well.

At first it's fine if you only put pressure in your stronger leg.

It's even centered in this clip.

Then sit down a little bit more, and distribute your weight evenly.

And this is Jo's variation, by the way, he has his strong leg in the front.

The V: I remember my friend was doing heel stops

very confidently and he still happens to have those old skates.

I compared his blades, literally no heel, to my blades to see if there is a limitation.

Your skate might even have another kind of heel, but that shouldn't be a problem.

Go in a medium speed, start lifting up the nose and at the same time turn your legs sideways.

If you overdo it, your skates will dig deep into the ice, stop faster, but damage the

ice, so be careful.

V is a super fun stop, actually all the heel and nose stuff, do them from medium-fast speed,

because they will slow you down very quickly.

Backwards: This is something easy again, but adds to

your skills, try it out.

Go backwards, in a straight line.

Open your legs legs in 2 directions keeping your weight in the center.

One leg will use the outside edge, choose the confident leg for it, the other will use

the regular inside edge.

Now some fun with the rotations, and I'll hand it over to my friend, Patrick from Alpine

Ice Freestyle who was visiting me from Germany.

Hey guys, greetings from Bavaria.

Let's start with a 90 degrees break which means you just jump into a break.

If I do a 180 break I like to jump into a reversed eagle position with my hands touching

the ground.

270 is similar to the backwards stop, but you jump into it from going forwards.

If you want to add some more style, try to do it on the tips of your skates.

360 and four-fifty is similar, do a 360 and turn into a break right after.

If you're confident with that try to do the break straight from a 450 rotation.

Last but not least from me a penguin stop.

Have fun guys!

And for the sake of this tutorial I wanted to come up with something new so I remixed

our teams logo stop, transferring from one side to the other with a little jump.

Most of the stops we saw here are safe to practice, some of them are very challenging,

it was definitely fun for me to learn them.

Oakland Mayor To Be Arrested For Defying Federal Law – Sanctuary City Is Over

Earlier this week, Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen confirmed that her department

has asked federal prosecutors to see if they can arrest heads of sanctuary cities and hit

them with criminal charges.

Now, Oakland, California Mayor Libby Schaaf is defiantly firing back at Donald Trump's

administration, but it won't end well for her.

CBS Local reported that Schaaf said on Wednesday that she would go to jail if needed in her

opposition to ICE raids just hours after Oakland City Council voted unanimously to end any

cooperation with agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

"It is no surprise that the bully in chief is continuing to try to intimidate our most

vulnerable residents," said Schaaf, referring to Trump.

"We're very clear that our values are to protect all of our residents regardless

of where we come from.

We want to protect families, not tear them apart."

This came as rumors were swirling that ICE is planning raids of the Bay Area, where they

will be arresting as many as 1,500 illegal aliens.

The ICE is doing this because California has become a Sanctuary State and several communities

have adopted Sanctuary City policies.

"We are exercising our legal right to be a Sanctuary City and to protect our residents,"

Schaaf said of her opposition to ICE raids.

"The fact that the federal government is suggesting that it is actively retaliating

against jurisdictions that are exercising their right to have sanctuary policies — that

is what is illegal."

When asked if she would go to jail to defend her sanctuary city policies, Schaaf replied

enthusiastically, saying, "Yes!"

To that we say, "LOCK HER UP!"

Schaaf went on to make it clear that she really does place the wellbeing of illegal aliens

ahead of the safety of American citizens.

"The level of fear and anxiety in this community is at unconscionable levels," she said.

"The important thing for people to know is that we have a 24/7 rapid response hotline

which is partially funded by the city, the county and philanthropy.

We are here to protect our residents."

City Councilwoman Rebecca Kaplan agreed with her.

"It is NOT acceptable for the Oakland administration to collude with ICE, as this Federal agency

is targeting non-criminals, harassing people based on their national origin, and undermining

our justice system," Kaplan said.

"The head of ICE under Trump has publicly stated that his intention is to strike fear

into communities, and now he is targeting California and cities like Oakland."

TMZ confirmed the "famous girl" was in fact Rihanna, leaving Embiid's dreams shattered.

That is, until this week when he was named a starter on the Eastern Conference's All-Star

team.

Now fans have completely flooded Rihanna's Instagram with messages and tagging Joel,

making sure she doesn't forget her part of the deal.

But when Embiid was asked by a reporter if he had anything to say about his date after

the 76ers win over the Celtics Thursday night, his response was not what you might have imagined.

She denied me back then; there's no reason to go back to her.

So I gotta move on to the next one.

There's a lot of pretty women out there, and I'm beautiful, so I gotta move on to the next

one.

You gotta respect his self-worth, but come on, it's Rihanna.

Regardless, Riri hasn't chimed in on any of Embiid's All-Star status or his advice for

her to stay sleepin on him.

But it should be noted that Rihanna may be performing at the 2018 All-Star Game with

Pharrell alongside N*E*R*D* meaning there should be plenty of opportunities for the

two of them to cross paths and possibly make that date happen.

Under President Obama, mayors in so-called "sanctuary cities knew they were protected

from the federal government enforcing the law, but there's a new sheriff in town,

and he isn't playing around with these traitors.

One of the President's key campaign promises was to clean up America's streets and work

to reduce the number of drugs flowing into the country.

Anyone with half of a brain kno9ws that illegal immigration and the cities that harbor the

invaders are a larger part of the problem, and with President Trump being a no-nonsense

businessman, he's going straight to the heart of the matter.

On Tuesday, Homeland Security Director Kirsten Nielson told the Senate Judiciary Committee

that her agency is done playing footsie with disrespectful Democrats who are refusingto0

obey federal law, the Washington Times reported.

In fact, Nielsen is so fed up with the lack of respect sanctuary city leaders have for

federal law, that she plans on forcing them into compliance, and she has something on

her side that the disrespectful and traitorous Democrats don't – a Justice Department

just itching to restore law and order to America.

The Washington Times reports:

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen confirmed Tuesday that her department has

asked federal prosecutors to see if they can lodge criminal charges against sanctuary cities

that refuse to cooperate with federal deportation efforts.

"The Department of Justice is reviewing what avenues may be available," Ms. Nielsen

told the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Her confirmation came after California's new sanctuary law went into effect Jan. 1,

severely restricting cooperation the state or any of its localities could offer.

Of course, any rational adult realizes that laws are meant to be followed, and that you

don't get to selectively ignore them in order to –protect your future voting bloc,

including Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson, who told the House Subcommittee on Illegal

Immigration that sanctuary cities "have become magnets for illegal aliens, some of

which have violent criminal records, CBS News Reported.

"If these sanctuary cities are going to harbor and conceal criminal illegal aliens

from ICE, which is in direct violation of Title 8 of the U.S. Code, federal arrest warrants

should be issued for their elected officials," Hodgson said.

"Our citizens would be safer if we never stopped enforcing immigration law and if we

never formed or turned a blind eye toward sanctuary cities."

While the Democrats will undoubtedly claim this is a radical idea that's similar to

Stalinist Russia, but the fact of the matter is they too voted in favor of the very laws

that would imprison those harboring illegal fugitives.

That's not to mention, their battle cry is that they want "equality under the law"

for black people and their other token classes of victims, so why shouldn't we give them

the same equality under the law they claim to fight fo9r?

Wasn't America built upon the very foundation that nobo9dy, not even the president, is above

the law?

I saw it's long past time we bring that fundamental principle back to this country,

don't you?

im out here at straight up racings monstertruck compound

for show me your build were gonna go over as many trucks as they will let me go over

and some of the particulars with them so lets get started and this is hi im dallas opposite

hand thank you for coming out here alright on to the next one and this is the next ride

truck right so you were mentioning stage 2 as skeletor this i guess is the ride truck

equivalent of a stage three because you can see its a tubular frame much different all

though its still not a purpose built race truck its still more like a modern stage 3

truck as you can see right over here its a full tube chassis four link suspension gas

shocks but at the same time a front engine truck right the ride truck its hard to get

people to ride when the motor is right at there feet oh come on you have no sense of

danger out there but then again i guess your right when its there kids right there definitely

protective absolutely yeah i remember when i rode in a they had a bus a bus ride truck

that i rode in that long ago there is quite a few ride trucks out there they are alot

of fun there perfect for making memories yeah very cool ok so what do we have a 502 crate

motor? yup this is a 502 ram jet so pretty much just a crate motor in this one and its

got quite a bit of power for a ride truck its it'l scoot? oh yeah nice oh wait a second

i just noticed something the knuckles are backward we will just scoot along the tie

rods just in a little different spot than on the other truck so for a race truck being

there is so much going on po-go ing and hard landings straight tie rod is ideal where a

tie rod like this you'd end up bending it there would be issues ok and then one thing

i forgot to go over on the last one what about the hydro lic steering setup cause this one

looks smaller unit than those ones or i am incorrect in my assumption but they look smaller.

there are so many different options for steering rams cause the trucks have hydrolic steering

front and rear and the steering ram for the ride trucks there under a lot less stress

cause your not jumping em full throttle full pull right so for the steering front steering

is still hydrolic steering but its all off the steering wheel so the rear steer its actually

controlled by a toggle switch so you just hit the switch left or right to turn the rear

tires right or left and theres an electric motor that powers the rear. and what was this

chassis ? was this a race chassis that was converted or was this this one was purposely

built as a ride truck ok and it was a ride truck called hot stuff and the body for hot

stuff is actually up there was it a fire truck? yup in a couple years we can bring that one

back we allways like to mix stuff up bill super creative wait do you make the molds

here for these too we sure do no that will have to be its own video thats dope! theres

this wooden mold ok sorry getting off topic nerdin out no way its one thing that i know

you make the chassis too right pretty much everything is done in house this truck here

deogee you can just look at the body and see how crazy it is the plug the mold was built

off of bill completely sculpted by hand so hes a hands on guy alright thats rad if you

want it bad enough you can do it thats right theres literally nothing that you can be able

to tell us oh you cant build that we would find a way to build it that kinda sounds like

a good thing i wanna see this so i will just say he cant then he will get around to it

so is this one gas as well right yup then whats the deal with shocks on this one vs

the racing setup cause they are all nitrogen gas right these are setup pretty much like

a race truck so when you ride on this truck you get to feel just what its like in a race

truck pretty much its a little less horsepower but its still al kinds of fun so the gas shocks

nitogen shocks makes for a really fun ride and these axles are the same as those they

are also a military derived rockwell and this one has the four link setup and is this one

that many seats? i think this one has 2 more seats than that one 15 13 plus driver so 14

seats and is there anything else special about this one that you can think of would be something

the most special thing about it is mainly the body ok yeah not to say thats not actually

your average person isnt going to know what kinda work i mean how many hours just a ballpark

if you wanted to make your own body like this what would it take hours wise just a ball

park i dont even know where to begin maybe we will have to go find bill and ask him this

question of course the thing that catches everyones eyes about these trucks is yeah

reading my childhood diaries || Christi Kerr - Duration: 5:43.

hi friend, I hope you're doing well today. so since I've been living at my parents

house for a while, we've been going through stuff from my

childhood, and so I thought now would be an excellent time to go through all of

these journals that I accumulated over the years, and see what on earth is

written in them. so we'll start with this fuzzy animal print one, which I had when

I was like eight years old. off to a good start, I spelled diary as dairy. "today at

school I listened to a tape with two bad words: shut up and ugly." and then my dad

and I made an alien trap, apparently. gotta catch those aliens. on Monday

December 10th 2001, I learned a lot about Hanukkah and how to spell Hanukkah,

except spelled it wrong in here, hate to break it to you, Christi. "I went to school

and watched the Grinch who stole Christmas. I was scared at night because

I thought the Grinch was under my bed." that's pretty standard for a young me. I

was scared of every scooby-doo villain... every villain in general, honestly. okay,

next up is this Harry Potter journal, which I think was from when I was about

9, maybe a year later. my handwriting does look better. okay so this one in

particular looks to be a mystery journal where I would solve mysteries. and on the

first page here I wrote in a fake mystery just to get some practice. ah, I

remember this mystery: the case of the destroyed clubhouse. some friends and I

had set up some rocks in this certain area of the playground that we considered

our clubhouse, and one day they were knocked over. and of course that same day

someone in our class came to school injured, so how else could they have been

injured besides knocking over the rocks in our clubhouse,

obviously. alright, moving on to this one. so this is a shared diary based on some

book for middle schoolers that I never read. and we're supposed to like fill in

sections, and someone filled in their parts with I

think eyeliner? I had a friend in middle school who was like really edgy, and

we were supposed to write in what school we went to, and she crossed at school and

wrote prison. oh and her occupation: professional anarchist. and at some point,

it looks like this literally just became me filling it in on behalf of myself and

everyone else, because everyone else lost interest. all right, next up is this

notebook, which I believe was my own personal diary from middle school. this

one I can already tell is going to be the cringiest one. it starts out with this

big page of like convincing whoever is reading this to stop, unless they're me,

and being like "if I'm standing right over you letting you read it, ask me if

there's something wrong with my brain." so this literally has like two or three

pages of content, and it's just talking about weird friendship dynamics, and boys

at my school... and then finally, this one was from high school. there may

not be that much that I'm willing to say from this, because it's a little bit

recent. oh boy okay so this one acknowledges the previous diary. "in old

diaries I've kept, I've had some sort of warning message, a sort of 'stop

reading immediately or I will hunt you down and kill you' sort of thing. I think

at 15 I've pretty much outgrown those messages." of course I hadn't outgrown

signing off on diary entries by writing "kthxbai"

but I mean, it was 2010, you can't really blame me. so, I gave background to my

diary. I had an entire page about like who was dating who, and who had a crush

on who and stuff like that. so much of this journal is literally just about

this one guy who I had this huge crush on. it's so much. so the standardized testing

in Texas where I went to school at the time that I was in school was called the

TAKS test, and we had like writing prompts and

stuff that was supposed to be like a little short memoir thing. it'd be

like "write about a time you had an adventure" or something like that, and

here I wrote "my writing prompt was to write about a time I adjusted to a new

environment. I wrote about the time I went to Hogwarts." this is the only

notebook that I actually kept up with. I made it to page 113. and I literally only

stopped because I got into a relationship, and everything I wrote

about before was kind of boy drama, so... it's really cool to read though.

like, I went through so much of my life, basically a year of my life is

documented on here. reading all these kind of makes me want to start a journal

again, because it's so cool to look back on my life. although I have these videos

which does that somewhat, but this is so detailed. it's like every day for over a

year. it's incredible. thank you so much for

watching, I love you all very much, and I'll see you next week.
