Essence Of Murli 22-01-2018 - Duration: 7:58.
Om Shanti !
Today's Murli Date Is 22nd January 2018
( Today sweet sweet Baapdada is reminding us of our values in life and also whose children are we ?... So Baba says in Murli of today )
Essence:Sweet children, you are God's children and this is your invaluable life.
Your Godly clan is the most elevated. Maintain the intoxication that God Himself has adopted you.
( Baba says, if we maintain intoxication we become like that )
Question:What do you need to practise in order to break the consciousness of the body?
Answer: 1.While walking or moving around, practise being aware that you are in your present body for this short time in name only.
Just as the Father has entered a body for a short time, in the same way,
we souls have also adopted these bodies in order to make Bharat into heaven by following shrimat.
Remember the Father and the inheritance and the consciousness of the body will then break.
This is called liberation-in-life in a second. ( when we become soul conscious we attain instant liberation from body consciousness )
2. Wake up at amrit vela and have a sweet conversation with the Father and the consciousness of the body will end.
( in our sweet conversations with sweet sweet Baapdada, narrate all our life events with him as it happens )
Song: Salutations to Shiva.
Essence for dharna: 1. Constantly stay in the intoxication of being the instruments who establish heaven with the Father.
The Father makes you into the masters of the world.
2. Become those who give happiness like the Father.
You must not cause anyone sorrow. Show everyone the true path.
In order to experience self-progress, keep a chart for yourself.
Blessing: May you live as a trustee and leave all the burdens of every action to the Father and become a double-light angel.
BapDada always helps the children who remain courageous. ( Pls remember this line very well, always )
When you children have elevated thoughts, the Father becomes present.
Simply leave everything to the Father and then the Father knows what His task is.
( This means do work, however without any tension )
Do not take the burden of the responsibilities upon yourself.
Be a trustee and you will remain constantly light; a double-light angel who continues to fly.
When your heart is clean, all your desires are fulfilled.
Slogan: When you have the wings of zeal and enthusiasm with you, you will continue to fly in the flying stage.
To the sweetest, beloved, long-lost and now-found children, love, remembrance and good morning from the Mother, the Father, BapDada.
The spiritual Father says namaste to the spiritual children.
We spiritual children convey to spiritual Baapdada, our loveour remembrance, our good morning & our namaste namaste
Om Shanti !

HOW TO LEARN KPOP DANCES #5 | Irrelevant Body Parts? TALKING DETAILS - Duration: 18:47.
Welcome to another part of the "how to learn to dance kpop" series! Let's talk a bit about important things to make the dance cleaner and prettier
ANGLES!! Angles are very important, for example
SHINee's Lucifer, there is a part where there are 90 degrees angles.
Right? I can't do this fast, sorry.
But these angles are very important, because if you don't do the 90 degrees angles prettily, the steps are gonna look weird
Like, if instead of doing this you do this
It's gonna look ugly and sloppy
Angles are very important especially when the moves are like these of SHINee
But angles, overall, are important
For example, in EXID's Ah Yeah, during the chorus, the head is not looking to the front, it's slightly tilted: angle.
In EXO's Kokobop, at the yeah yeah part, your body is not turned to the front, it's slightly facing the diagonal: angle
And this is something you guys might be watching and thinking "ugh, so stupid, why is it so important for me to be standing facing slightly the left instead of facing the front", and...
because. Just cuz. Cuz it's important. Because the movement the choreographer created is facing the diagonal and not the front.
Because the head is like this and not like this. It is so that you can make it look the closer to the original as possible.
It might look like something insignificant, but it's not...........
Alright?
Another important thing is center of mass(?), where you are putting the weight of your body
For example, notice how different this is...
from this
and this
When I'm standing like this, my center of mass, my balance point(?) is right in the middle of my body, imagine a line going through here
When I move my center of mass this way, my whole body weight is on this leg
And it gives a different effect, like, this is different from this which is different from this.
For example, in BLACKPINK's As If It's Your Last
They have their center of mass in the middle, then they stand on their tippy toes and move their center of mass to the side, leaving all their body weight on one leg
So this is very important
Another important thing is how to get from one step to the other.
If you see that the beginning of the step is like this
And the end of the step is like this
There are many ways of getting from one place to the other
You can go through the front,
through the side,
bending your elbow,
doing a circle,
anyways, there are many ways of getting from here to here.
And it's important to notice how this happens. I know it might seem a little ridiculous when I say it like this
but I see many people doing the wrong transitions from one step to the next, probably for not paying enough attention on how to get from one step to the other
Strength is also very important. The amount of strength/power you put in the movement
you need to pay attention to see how much strength is needed, how much power the idols are putting.
Another thing, straight arm and bent arm makes a difference
Like I said in my RED FLAVOR tutorial, at first I did the move in the chorus without extending my arm completely
But it's not like this, your arm shouldn't be bent, you need to extend it like this, so this kind of stuff makes a difference
Bent knees also make a difference. Like, I call this a "low movement"
because the knees are very bent and you stay low,
and how much you need to bend your knee makes a difference, cuz all the following things are different from one another:
Where the head is looking to: makes a difference.
Open hand and closed hand: makes a difference... sometimes not... cuz sometimes we look at some groups and some members are doing the move
with open hands and some members are doing it with closed hands and we don't know who the frick is doing it right...
But in theory it's supposed to make a difference.
Also flex foot versus pointed foot
Hands on hips! There are lots of ways of putting your hands on your hips, take a look:
This might look insignificant but it makes a difference
Putting your arms down might look like 'resting', but it's notm it's a step.
For example, in my cover of IOI's Whatta Man, I didn't notice this detail that, from this movement, I had to put my arms down and then move to the next move
On my cover you guys are gonna notice that I go from this move straight to this other move
I completely ignored the fact that I had to first put my arms down and then go to the next move.
This is wrong, we need to notice these details. Putting your arms down is a step.
Getting up from the ground is also a step, there is a right time to get up.
In GFRIEND's Fingertip they go down and all of them get up at the same time. This is a step and there is a right time to do it.
Jumping is also very important. On the cover I did with my friends of GUGUDAN's Wonderland
we had to jump high, but for some reason we didn't jump high.
I didn't even notice I was jumping too low, but it's something to pay attention to. When the choreo asks you to jump, you need to see
until where you have to jump, how high, pay attention to that, cuz sometimes we think we are jumping high and we are not...
You also must pay attention at the spinning parts. Cuz we get confused when they turn around, so we need to pay extra attention.
Through where the person is spinning, which leg that leaves the ground, which leg that stays on the ground
Is it through the left, through the right, anyways, you need to pay attention cuz there are many ways of spinning.
I don't have space to demonstrate, but I will show you an example. When I was filming WHY with my sister we, initially, were spinning differently. Take a look.
Did you notice I spinned one way and my sister spinned differently?
So it's something you need to pay attention to when you're learning, put it in slow motion, pay extra attention
Another important thing is to pay attention where is the emphasis/stress of the movement
For example, in I.O.I's Pick Me, the move is like this
You can see that for the hip movement the emphasis\stressing is up, correct?
Let's just see, how would it be if the stressing was downwards? It'd be like this:
Can you see the difference?
and
And in SNSD's Holiday, the movement is like this:
Now, you can see that the emphasis is to the right side.
If the emphasis was to the left side, it'd be like this
So
Right
Left
And if the emphasis was equal to both sides, it'd be something like this
Can you see the difference?
Here the stressing is the same towards both sides
When I put the stressing on the right side, the movement goes to the right side way more than it goes to the left side
1 2 3 4
I hope this is understandable
Speaking of details, let's talk about how to make our dancing the closest to the original as possible
We don't have the choreographer here by our side teaching us the steps,
we have to learn everything by ourselves
And this requires a bit more of effort from our part, especially to get all the details
Because dancing is not just arms and legs movements, there's everything I've talked about so far, and more
There are angles, there's open hand, closed hand, there are fingers, there's facial expression, dancing is the entire body
So, because we need to learn everything by ourselves, we need to make an effort to get all the details to make the dancing the closest to the original as possible
Sometimes even the body parts we think aren't important or are irrelevant are not
Because all the movements together is what makes the step become what the choreographer created.
Because the choreographer didn't create just putting your arm up
He created putting the arm up, raising your leg, looking to the right and...
idk, opening your mouth
iunno lol but anyways
All these details is what, together, makes the correct step
So we need to pay attention to details
Here are some examples of parts of the body, or movements of certain body parts,
that might not be the main focus of the step, but still play an important role
Remember that practice leads to perfection
Thefore the more you practice catching the details, the more easily you'll absorb the details in choreographies you learn in the future
"Practice is key"
Sometimes the mouth migth be an obvious part of the choreography, like in KAI's Deep Breath
But sometimes it might go by almost unoticed
For example, in SKARF's Luv Virus
and in EXO's Overdose. In both cases, they open their mouths to...idk, eat something.
Finger position
Fingers might look insignificant, but they're not
ie. In Twice's Signal they make finger hearts during the chorus
In Twice's Do It Again they move their fingers this way, like they're sending a text message
In Sistar's Alone, at the chorus, their fingers walk on their legs
This also happens in EXID's Ah Yeah, at the end
In Red Velvet's Russian Roulette, at the end, their fingers are in an "okay" shape for a long time
In Seventeen's Pretty U, the important part, which is the "예쁘다", they do it with the middle finger touching the cheek
In my cover I didn't pay attention to this detail and did it wrong.
But this detail is specially important because what they do in that part means "pretty" in the Korean sign language
In SHINee's 1 of 1, you might think they make a 1 with their hands, but they actually make an L
So, again, important details
In GFRIEND's Navillera, at the second chorus, they grab their hands like this, but they're not closed, their thumbs are sticking out
Besides finger position, finger movements are also important.
In PRISTIN's Wee Woo there are lots of parts where their fingers keep moving like this
In Red Velvet's Red Flavor they also shake their fingers the same way at the end
This step is similar to EXO's Wolf, in which they also move their fingers the same way
In Blackpink's AIIYL the lyrics talk about grabbing something and their hand opens and closes like this
Hair is also something that is not super used in choreographies, but there are dances in which it is used and is important
For example, Playback's Playback
Oh My Girl's Liar Liar in which they throw their hair like this
This song with the difficult title, by Stellar.
Rania's Demonstrate
and Dreamcatcher's Chase Me
are some dances that use hair
Sometimes even in choreographies that we watch and the hair doesn't seem significant, behind the choreography there is an intention
For example, look at this cut from Idol School
I found it super interesting to see that even the turning, even the hair throwing was choreographed
In such a discreet manner, we don't even notice it was choreographed, but it was
Hand twirling is also important, like in EXO's Lotto
And in Kokobop there are the fingers twirling a gazillion times during the break
We are used to moving our hips side to side, but not so much back and forth, I think, and it's something that makes a huge difference
Like in EXID's Ah Yeah
and Pristin's Wee Woo
Another important thing is the body shivering\trembling
For example, in Red Flavor, during the chorus, you have to shake your body
You also need to shake your body in Signal, when you send the hearts to your crush
In Seventeen's Don't Wanna Cry you also need the body trembling at the right times to make that dramatic effect.
Another important thing is "broken wrists"
This is a normal wrist
This is what I call a broken wrist
On my cover of WJSN's I Wish, I did the move like this
And it was ugly, cuz the right way was like this, with broken wrists
So this is something to pay attention to
Some dances also use the outfit as a part of the dance
For example, Seventeen's Very Nice has the suspenders
Stellar's Sting has the t-shirt twirling
Dal Shabet's Be Ambitious has the skirt opening
To end this, I'm gonna talk about one thing that I find to be one of THE most important things in dance
Facial expression
Sometimes you are dancing, and you are tired, and you can't wait til this dance is over
But you can't show that you're tired. It's important to have energy, that's why it's important to eat well and drink water.
Because a lot of times the dance might be simple, the steps might be easy
but if you don't have energy
it's gonna be ugly
It's gonna look like you're being forced to do that
so you need to have energy, you need to show that you know what you're doing and you're having fun doing it
And if you're tired and can't show, something that helps you cover the fact that you're tired is facial expression
Why is facial expression important?
Firstly, because it shows the concept of the song, it shows the feeling of the song
The entire atmosphere of the song is shown through the facial expressions
For example, we would never dance Seventeen's Don't Wanna Cry with a smile on our faces, because it doesn't match, we need to make sad faces
So, the facial expressions need to match with the concept and the concept needs to match with the facial expressions
A cute concept is gonna ask you to smile
A sad concept is gonna ask for a sad face, some frowned brows
A sexy concept is gonna ask for some intense staring at the camera
and even wink sometimes, idk
Different concepts are gonna require different facial expressions
Facial expressions are something we only learn practicing
I think... I've seen videos of people practicing facial expressions in the mirror.
And it's a good idea, go to the front of the mirror and try making different expressions.
Like fear, happiness, sadness, etc. Anyways, facial expression is veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery important
Because you might be dancing super super well, there are a lot of people that dance super well, but if you don't have facial expressions...
In my opinion... hm
I would a thousand times rather watch a person that dances kinda bad but that looks like they're having fun
than a person that dances super well but has no expressions
Because it looks like the person is being forced to do that, idk
and this is another reason why you need to practice a choreography a lot of times.
You need to practice enough times so that you can dance the choreo and, like, emit it, you know? Throw it to the outside world.
You learned the choreo, practiced, now the choreo is very deep inside you. When you dance, you need to throw all of that out of your body.
Including in your face, which is the facial expressions
If you think about it, facial expression is also a part of the choreography.
The face is a body part like all the others. If the dance asks for you to raise your arm, you gotta raise your arm.
If the dance asks for you to smile, you gotta smile
Right? That's it, then.
So, guys, it's super normal not to catch all the details when learning kpop dances.
Me? I never manage to catch all the details. I learn something and after I post it I watch it again and I'm like
"Dude, I did this wrong, I didn't catch this detail"
So, it is very hard because we don't have the choreographer here to teach it to us and we have to do it all by ourselves
I'm making this video because... in an ideal world, where we are able to catch all the details, the ideal is to catch all the details
But in reality it's almost impossible, because we are learning alone, through a video.
So, yeah
So this video was to tell you guys that details are important and to tell you guys to catch as many details as you can when learning new dances
It won't be all of them, I, too, never catch all the details, but it's what we can do, right, being by ourselves
That's it, and remember that dancing is not only about arms and legs, it's about all body parts moving together.
So you must pay attention to everything, from the top of the head to the tip of the toes
I think that's it, y'all
I talked too much, I can't stop talking
But for now it's just this... "just"
And if you liked it don't forget to leave a like, comment, subscribe and share.
And if you have any questions just throw it in the comments and I'll answer.
And if other topics appear I might do more parts of this series
Ok? So thanks for watching!
And fighting, because I know you guys can do it, I'm sure of that
Ok?
Red Flavor...

Video Serie. Bijzonder! Aflevering 6 – Convoi Exceptional - Duration: 12:59.
Improvising a performance for 80 percent
Counting the legs while playing and go with the energy of the crowd
Welcome!
Welcome! Welcome to "Bijzonder!"
And then I think: I want to make this awesome sound now! And then its just * WOOP *
Hello dear people. This is Dick, you know him from Surfana
This is Job, you also know thim from Surfana. And pinkpop.
Jesse. You also know him from Surfana. And Ruben, you might also know him from Surfana
We are just checking what can be played on the stage itself
I play on those two djembe's there and usually I always try to see on stage what kind of instruments there are
And then I am always very happy when these kinds of things are involved. Because then you automatically get this:
That is already fun! And in combination I see this:
That is already fun! And then you can of course take it one step higher for the show
Today we are on the road with Convoi Exceptional
Street musicians from Rotterdam, who also feel right at home here in the Amsterdam ports
We met on one of their favorite performances. This is a place that is normally completely loaded with people
unfortunately it rained all day and the weather still is not great
So the start is kind of different than they are used to ...
Our crowd!
We are Convoi Exceptional and we do it alone if necessary
It struck me at Surfana that you guys have a lot of energy. Super excited and very ...
- Well .. that is hard to find
Where does that passion come from? How does it stay so good after all those years?
-Out of your toes.
It is a kind of childlike passion and it never passes. We also do not know where it comes from
Some people say "that's too much energy, that's not possible for a human being" and yet it's true
We have got many stages so that's all going well. But in addition, we keep on playing on the street
A stage is much easier than a street
It is very clear on a stage. People stand before you and expect "something is going to happen"
While on the street, no one comes for you. And if you know how to reach them there..
And even in such a situation where everything can happen and everyone comes and goes, that is much more difficult
So if you can play on the street, you can play anywhere
For example today we have had a really magical moment
We have fixed spots in Rotterdam and two homeless newspapersellers walk by a lot of the time
We have a sort of unwritten rule when those boys walk by, those two men
Then I stop playing and they continue. I walk to the money box and take out five euros: 'Bam' five euros for you
And then it's a bit like: "nice that you're here. So they are already happy when they see us
Then they think "those guys see me", they like it and we all get a little pocket money as well
So for them it's bonus, bonus, bonus
Today they both happened to walk past in half an hour. First the one: "nice that you're here" High five
And then later that other one, his name is Weejay, happened to pass us in our break
So I say "Weejay, come here" so I give him five euros. And he was so happy, he grabbed me and turned to the audience that was still standing
And then he shouded "I am not alone, I am not alone!" That was really magical!
-And they do not only pay attention to the public on the regular spots, right here this attitude is creating spontaneous encounters as well
To give a good example of this I want to take you back in time for an hour
- That's nice! And then of course you can go a step higher for the show
Heey! Look, the show is already starting! And then you can do this ...
-Let me give it a try -Look! That is why Amsterdam is so good!
Yes, Continue!
Good beat man! Nice beat!
-A little later on stage -Good jon man!
-I should join you on stage -Awesome! Yes, deal!
-You still have to start? -We still have to start. Come join us
What's your name? -Peter
-Then I call Peter -Peter the house guest
I am Peter and you are? -Ruben
-Nice to meet you. We're going to make a party tonight
-Yes for sure. And I'm going to introduce you, right?
-If you do that! -Then you will come for sure!
PETER!
Oh! Yes, Peter is allowed. Peter is legal
Ladies and gentlemen, he looks rough, butcan I get a heart-warming applause for my great new friend Peter
Peter from Amsterdam!
When we are playing we just watch dancing legs. How fast do those legs go?
Then we go too fast or too slow. How many legs are dancing? Check! And then you adapt
-Or Dick suddenly sees certain people and then he thinks: "Oh, I'm going to play a Turkish song or an Arabic song now"
-Yes, that also works well.
-And the contact with the crowd, how does that work with such a saxophonist?
-Dick? -uuhm contact?
-Tunnel vision
Dick is a special boy. I'm not really sure if he... Do you hear me Dick?
Dick is a special boy. He can make excellent contact and also be completely in his own world
It is also our job to sometimes involve Dick in the whole
Can I check my reeds now? -Yes, you can check your reeds
-Thanks Dick!
-Thank you for your kind words
-No but that is the beauty of Dick. He can do it both. He is really good!
In involving people. And he can also really .. -Children too
Children, but also adults and then he can completly lose himself
He is also a music therapist, so he knows what he is doing
But on the other hand, he can also be completely ... makes you think "No Dick, not now!"
I will give an example. We once had a gig with our previous band. In a number he had a two minute break
Anyway, so he walks down the stage and I think "he's going to get a drink".
After two minutes the song is over, no Dick. Start a new song without him, at the end still no Dick (this English translation is getting a bit awkward now)
So I say "Sorry, guys, we're going to stop for a while, I'm going to check where he is"
I found him backstage with his tape recorder, he was recording lines
So I say: "But Dick, we have a gig now. Like right now, you know."
-"Yes, but I still had two minutes right?"
-He suddenly had a brilliant idea, which he must record right a way
-And we had to tell him "No Dick, those two minutes, that's ten minutes ago, that's over"
So we have brought him back and then he joined again
- Totally surprised that he was recalled. "But it is really important, right?"
When Dick is ready, he will play that tune. Dick: do your thing!
How did it go Dick, the performance?
It was a battle as always -It's always a struggle for Dick
* breaking glass *
* breaking glass * * lots of breaking glass *
Who is that? Get him! -Make a wild guess who that is..
-Aah man. Now the are going to take him.
Now they are like: "Hello? Peter? Yes it is that Peter, take him in"
Eehm .. I do not have any words yet. When I think ..
Then I do not think .. then it's just ..
Or I look at that shoe. Look at is. Zoom in on the shoe.
Then I look so tight to that shoe. I only see those laces at that moment.
And I do not even see laces, I only see orange, orange ..
I am completely one with that shoe so to say...
Okay, long notes. So that is what you do, but it is also purely intuitive, without words
But you send yourself through that flow.
So the shot of the interview where you were standing with the binoculars, that happens metaphorically on stage
In that shoe, or in that music ..
That is a completely different dimension. Then I can lower myself, just like now, and then I can talk reasonably well again
but not quite yet. Still for 20 percent I'm still on that buzz ..
Thanks for watching, and until the next 'Bijzonder!'
