Instagram Content Strategy [2018] - Duration: 5:35.

Hey there, thanks for tuning in.

I'm Ashley Perkins, your marketing mentor.

So, you're on Instagram and you realize that posting consistently is a huge key to success,

but every day you sit down to post something, it's like total crickets.

You're unsure of a content strategy that's going to connect you to the right people,

bring more people like them in, and convert them to clients and customers for life without

feeling like a sleazy car salesman.

That's why I'm making this video for you!

I'm going to be sharing my five tips for creating an Instagram strategy that connects and converts.

First and foremost, the base of your Instagram content strategy should follow the 40/40/20

rule.

That's 40% brand awareness, 40% giving value, and 20% for promotion.

Some examples of the type of content that's going to raise brand awareness would be sharing

blogs and videos, tips and tricks, industry updates, and a little behind the scenes of

your business.

Giving value would be showing up consistently for your audience in a non-promotional way

to share insights on your industry, answering questions they ask frequently; and other things

like exclusive content upgrades, freebies and access that audience's on other platforms

may not receive.

Finally, promotion is pretty self-explanatory.

It makes your audience aware of the products and services that you offer, and perhaps any

exclusive deals, discounts and promotions that you offer on those products and services.

So, now that we have the first tip out of the way and we've laid the foundation of your

content plan, the second tip is to be the star of your feed.

Whether you sell products or services, your audience should know and recognize your face,

as well the voice you use on Instagram.

Make yourself the star of your feed by consistently showing photos of you working in your business,

on your products, and working with your clients through your service-based business; as well

as just giving your audience a peek into your life.

You are the star of your brand, and your audience should know you as well as they know your

products and services.

So, when you are brainstorming posts for the 40% of your strategy that's going to be catered

to brand awareness, that's the perfect time to make room for your face in your feed.

Moving on to my third tip, you want to make sure that you've chosen a relevant theme for

your Instagram account.

Instagram is a highly visual platform, so for as much time that you spend on your content

strategy, you want to spend just as much time on a visual strategy.

Make sure that your visual theme is on-brand, and is also relevant to your target audience.

My fourth tip will help you save time creating a visually appealing theme, and that's to

curate content.

One of the biggest barriers to entry with Instagram is creating visually appealing content,

whether you're catering it to brand awareness, giving value, or promoting your business.

Not everyone has a fancy camera, and a professional photo studio, so curating photos from others

that align with your theme and your brand will allow you to fill the gaps between your

own original content.

Just make sure you're doing your due diligence and properly crediting the creator of that

content in the photo or video itself, as well as in the caption.

Finally, a note on the 20% of your Instagram strategy that is catered to promotion -- don't

just come out of the gate and shove a product or service in your audience's face.

Instead, use that opportunity to tell a story that sells the problem you solved with that

product or service.

People love and connect with stories, they don't connect with sales pitches.

Take the time to craft promotional content that also tells a story by sharing client

testimonials, before and after results, or anything that's relevant to your business.

You now have a full strategy to create an Instagram grid that connect and converts.

Hi, Welcome to GadgetsTV youtube channel.

For my first video

I am taking look at

the GeekCreit Arduino Starter kit.

So let's check what we are getting in the kit.

I brought this kit from banggood.com

When I brought it

it cost around 21 USD

and around Rs.3200 in Sri Lankan currency.

You can get free shipping

therefore no problem.

Banggood usually packs a product

very well when shipping.

And this is well packed too

in this small box.

In this arduino kit we

receive a Arduino UNO R3 board.

This is the micro controller

for a arduino project.

This is a arduino compatible board

therefore we don't need any special driver

and it works with arduino software flawlessly.

This is can be powered by the USB port

or by the barrel jack.

This works between 5 and 12 volts.

Also you can

see the digital i/o pins, power connectors

and analog pins on the board.

And there are

GeekCreit logos on the board.

This is a

prototype extension board.

This is made to sit

on the arduino UNO board.

After aligning the pin

you can gently press the boards together.

Then it work properly.

To reset the Arduino easily

the reset button has been re-positioned.

You also get a small breadboard.

Which can be placed on

the extension board easily.

When the board it plugged into a

power source it turns on automatically.

To connect it you get a USB cable

and a 9 volt battery connector.

Next lets take a look

at accessories for the arduino.

This is a micro servo motor

its connected by three wires.

Also you get

few arms to fix to the motor

in different sizes.

You also get a 5v stepper motor

with a stepper controller board.

Therefore you can easily drive

this motor.

This is how it works.

You can rotate to both directions

and rotate it to required steps.

There is also

a bag of red, green, blue

leds.

You get 10 from each color.

You also get resistors

of 1K, 10K, 330

and 220 ohms.

But I have used few 330 resistors and

you get 10 from each out of box.

For some advance projects

you can use this display.

This is hard to setup

but useful if you can.

In this kit there is a passive buzzer

and a active buzzer.

You can use this

for alarm system.

You also get a variable resistor

which is also known as potentiometer.

You also get 4 switches,

you can use it for anything.

Sensor included in this kit are

you can see IR sensors

which can work with any IR remote

You also get a temperature sensor,

it can be used for

gathering room temperature.

Next we have

some light dependent resistors.

They are used for automated lights.

At last

you get 2 vibration sensors.

With the IR sensor

you get a IR remote.

This can be used for various projects

it uses CR 2025 battery

but they don't include one.

Next we have a 8x8 dot matrix display,

a four digit 8 segment tube

and a 1 digit 8 segment display.

You also get a big bread board

This has 65 pins.

The bottom row is connected together.

Then the small rows are

connected verticaly, 5 by 5.

Same goes to other side.

You can use this for

built a prototype circuit

and test it.

Next we have some jumper cable

to connect motors,displays to arduino.

And we also

get another set of cables

to make breadboard circuits.

These can be connected to

the arduino too.

Then we get a small box

which can be used to

store resistors,bulbs or wires.

The items I showed you

are the things available

This is a very nice kit

for beginners because

everything you need are included

in this pack.

You can also buy

advance packs which are more expensive

but if you are a starter

you are better off

with this pack

because

if you were to buy these individually

it would cost much more.

start with small projects.

After that you can go for advance projects

like this.

because you can many guides

in youtube

or in websites

made by various people.

Using Arduino you can

control your home appliances too.

Senator Chuck Schumer is thwarting President Donald Trump's campaign promise to build

the Southern border wall, and he can stop it as Minority Leader of the Senate.

Schumer lying to advance his narrative, claiming Americans don't want the wall built.

He is also blaming Trump for the breakdown in solving the illegal immigration issues,

and White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders decided enough was enough.

She blasted "Cryin' Chucky Schumer" and exposed his "sick secret" to all Americans.

The problem is there are many Americans who believe his fake tears, his crybaby tactics,

and, most of all, his blatant lies.

Thank God for White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who has our president's

back.

Schumer took to Twitter and tweeted out a series of lies, hoping to sway Americans into

believing he is blameless when it comes to our huge illegal immigration issues.

to show us where he stands on immigration.

He goes on, tweeting, "While @realDonaldTrump finally acknowledged that the Dreamers should

be allowed to stay here and become citizens, he uses them as a tool to tear apart our legal

for years."

Like a slimy used car salesman, Schumer employs the bait and switch tactic.

He claims, "[Trump's] plan flies in the face of what most Americans believe."

What does that mean?

Well, he is talking about the border wall.

Oh, and Trump has not agreed to give DACA recipients automatic citizenship.

Schumer adds "DACA will be citizens" for one reason, and that's hoping to piss off

Trump's base.

Now, crying Chuck just blew up Trump's latest plan, one that was so darn generous, and Schumer's

response will make you sick.

Trump is the president, he is not a dictator.

He needs 60 votes in the Senate to get the wall built.

With 51 GOP Senators, Trump knew he would have to have a few Democrats on board.

He had to get those Democrats or there would be no wall.

The one issue that the Democrats would consider is something to do with the DACA kids — it's

a negotiation point.

The White House's latest offer was $25 billion to fully fund the wall, no lottery for immigrants,

no chain migration, and the 1.8 million DACA illegals would be given some type of path

to citizenship.

It was not something most Trump supporters would be happy about, but most would agree

that if we get the wall fully funded and we stop illegal immigration as well as squash

the lottery and chain migration, it's a compromise we could live with.

But, that idiot Schumer flatly turned it down and then blamed Trump!

The president responded, tweeting, "DACA has been made increasingly difficult by the

fact that Cryin' Chuck Schumer took such a beating over the shutdown that he is unable

to act on immigration!"

As Politico reported, "Schumer's remarks further cement the Democratic opposition,

leaving little clarity on how Congress will clinch an agreement to preserve expiring legal

protections for the Deferred Actions for Childhood Arrivals program.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi called it 'anti-immigrant,' and Senate Minority

Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said Trump's plan would institute Trump's 'hard-line immigration

agenda — including massive cuts to legal immigration — on the backs of these young

people.'"

"President Trump and Republicans cannot be allowed to use Dreamers as a bargaining

chip for their wish list of anti-immigrant policies," said Senator Dianne Feinstein,

while nutjob Nancy Pelosi tweeted, "The Trump Administration's anti-immigrant framework

is an act of staggering cowardice which attempts to hold the #DREAMers hostage to an unmistakable

campaign to make America white again."

Are these Democrats for real?

Well, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was completely pissed off by their propaganda

and lies.

So, she tweeted to Cryin' Chucky, writing, "Actually @SenSchumer America's legal

immigration system has been torn apart for decades by Washington politicians like yourself

who prefer open borders & sanctuary cities over law & order and popular, common sense

reforms."

And, that's Chuck Schumer's sick secret; namely, as minority leader, he can hold up

common sense legislation.

President Trump was willing to negotiate, but Chucky and his cohorts are not.

Then, they blame it on the president, and the press echoes their lies.

But, the sickest secret in all this is that Schumer is for illegal immigration.

The more illegals the better.

The plan is to populate our country with illegals and register them to vote Democrat.

The Democrats know American citizens don't want their policies, so they will replace

us with illegals.

So, when Sarah Sanders says that Schumer "prefers open borders & sanctuary cities over law & order,"

she is exposing the truth and telling Americans to fight back.

Call out Democrats as liars.

Spread the word of their sick plan to stop President Donald Trump's wall and explain

why.

That is how we take back our nation.

We refuse to become a third world country, and we refuse to see our taxes fund our own

demise.

Stay strong, my fellow Americans.

We are in the middle of the war to make America great again.

I'm just in the maze at the moment.

Thought I'd just shoot a quick video

wishing everyone a happy New Year,

and as I mentioned I'm inside a maze.

It's quite amazing, actually, it's

a place called Stone Town.

It's 2:30 in the afternoon. It's super hot here.

And just walking around, getting lost in the maze,

buying a few things for back home.

First of January, 2018!

I can't believe it is a new year already,

and hopefully you can get started

with some of those goals that you have.

So if you got a bucket list, now

is the perfect time to start but

I'm actually here for another two more weeks.

And, oh sorry, another 12 days.

And then I fly back to Melbourne, Australia.

I'm so excited right now. I went out last night.

I went to the northern part of the island

here in Zanzibar, went up to Kendwa Rocks

And I don't often party but it

was definitely nice to do it once every, how you doing?

Every once in a while like literally once every 12 months.

Last time I went out was last New Years

and that was New Years in Thailand.

And now I spent New Years this year

in Tanzania, or Zanzibar, so it was very different

but yeah, Kendwa Rocks was really good.

The Africans definitely know how to party here.

And I didn't have a lot to drink,

I just had maybe three or four drinks.

Which brings my tally up for the

last 12 months up to about eight so I rarely drink,

I really, I don't even, I rarely drink

because it affects my training and everything else but

it was really, really good to get up on the dance floor

and I'll even drop some video of some

of the guys doing some break dancing last night

and you know getting up on the stage

with all the people from everywhere around the world.

A lot of nonprofit people that work for,

like for example, Peace Corp and

a few other organisations from around Africa

have descended into Zanzibar to celebrate

and it was just really cool to meet these people

and to celebrate with them so yeah.

So basically I'm scuba diving tomorrow and the day after

I'm moving from Stone Town which is where I am now and,

which by the way I've mentioned this three times already.

You do have to check this place out.

It is incredible, like there's so many different,

it's like a maze, I feel like PAC-MAN,

but yeah, you gotta get lost in here

so you can find some of the really coolest

souvenir shops and coffee shops and that kind of thing.

Spice shops and that kind of thing.

Anyway so I'm moving from this side of the island

to Matemwe tomorrow, hakuna matata,

and moving over there to do some

scuba diving either tomorrow or the day after.

Yeah first of January, well I'm super pumped.

To me it's another day.

I kind of live my life really, really to the maximum anyway

so there's no, like, I'm gonna start

living my life a different way from a certain date.

I don't kind of, I don't function that way.

I just live my life every single day the way I wanna live it

I don't want for the calendar to dictate that for me.

Anyways so I'm gonna throw up some footage of Stone Town.
