Meet the Author: Chloe Benjamin (THE IMMORTALISTS) - Duration: 2:36.
I am Chloe Benjamin, and I'm the author of
The Immortalists
...which follows four siblings who,
as children, are given prophecies about the dates
that they will die.
And the book then follows each of them
over the course of their lives, and looks at the way
that fate and chance and expectation
influence the course of our lives.
I have to say, I was one of those obnoxious people
who was writing from as early as I could write.
I do remember in fourth grade, we had a writing assignment.
And I went far over the page limit, as I'm still wont to do.
And it couldn't be stapled, so it
had to be specially bound with string.
So I think at that point, my parents were like,
we may have a writer on our hands.
I think it was, like, a terrible mystery.
I think there was a mad scientist.
We haven't kept it.
So--
[LAUGHS]
Yeah.
So I, like a lot of writers, had a career
that was not necessarily before my writing, but alongside.
So many of us have day jobs, and I worked in social services.
First for an organization that supports ALS patients,
and then for one that works with victims of domestic violence.
And at the latter organization, where I was most recently,
I was the assistant to the executive director.
And so I think one thing, the biggest thing I learned
was empathy.
I think you never know what somebody's going through.
You certainly can't tell by looking at them.
And I think that's really influenced my writing.
Just always coming from a place of curiosity and compassion,
and a lack of judgment.
The executive director that I worked for,
her organization was incredible.
I mean, my file system is so much better now
that I've been through that job.
And also, her cursive was, like, just immaculate.
And it's such a dying art.
And it made me want to go back and work on my cursive more.
I love letters.
I love stationery and writing personal notes.
So, yeah.
Empathy, organization, and good cursive.

These Are The Best Horror Films Of 2017 - Duration: 8:35.
From major franchises to brutally clever indie hits, 2017 was a fantastic year for horror.
Sure, you probably already know about heavy hitters like It and Get Out, but plenty of
other great horror films were also released during the year.
If you're in the mood for some spine-tingling additions to your queue, here are our picks
for the best horror movies of 2017.
Split
M. Night Shyamalan has had a rocky decade or so, but Split was definitely a return to
his twisty form.
The story focused on the abduction of a group of young women by a man with multiple personalities,
which made for a taut and claustrophobic thriller, anchored by actor James McAvoy's transitions
between his character's many identities.
Critics praised his performance, as well as Shyamalan's ability to balance those shifting
points of view—and channel the filmmaking prowess that made him a name to watch after
The Sixth Sense.
Even better?
The director used his trademark twist in a way that no one saw coming, setting up a must-see
sequel.
Stephen King's It
Send in the clowns.
Stephen King's It was previously adapted as a TV miniseries in 1990, and that live-action
version of the author's horror classic still gives us nightmares—but it's nothing compared
to director Andy Muschietti's big-screen version.
"Hiya Georgie.
What a nice boat."
The film earned rave reviews, with critics hailing it as a terrifying and a clever exploration
of the psychological trauma King captured so well in his novel.
Bill Skarsgård's take on Pennywise the Clown is basically face-painted nightmare fuel,
so taking a trip to the sewers of Derry is well worth the risk.
Because hey, we all float down there, right?
Get Out
This isn't just one of the best horror movies of 2017—it's one of the best horror films
of the past decade.
Writer and director Jordan Peele leaves you guessing right up until the end, slowly ratcheting
up the terror with a story that starts out like any other innocent, average dramedy.
Peel back a few layers, though, and the story tackles race relations through the lens of
a horror tale, serving up a sharp, thoughtful, funny blend of horror and social satire that
treads almost a bit too close to reality at times in ways that will make your skin crawl.
The Devil's Candy
This indie horror flick focuses on an artist who starts painting terrifying images after
moving into a new home—and then someone starts terrorizing him and his family.
"I don't remember painting this."
This scary look into the depths of human depravity doubles as a clever subversion of the horror
movie tropes viewers have come to expect and was thus one of the most underrated movies
of the year.
Lake Bodom
If you're looking for a throwback to the classic days when machete-wielding maniacs prowled
the woods and menaced unsuspecting teens, book a trip to director Taneli Mustonen's
Lake Bodom.
This classically styled slasher focuses on the urban legend of a viciously fatal night
that occurred decades ago, as a group of teens plan a trip to investigate and recreate the
events of the old tale.
But it turns out they're in for a lot more than a mere homage.
Even if the movie doesn't exactly reinvent the gore genre, this is still a scary good
time.
Life
This space-set sci-fi horror flick hit the sweet spot by throwing The Thing, Gravity
and Alien into a blender.
The result was a whole lot of terrifying fun.
It focuses on the crew of the International Space Station as they investigate a mysterious
new life form that's been recovered on Mars.
Their experiments quickly take a turn for the worse when they realize this alien creature
might be a lot smarter -- and more sinister -- than they'd given it credit for.
"Life's very existence requires destruction."
It Comes at Night
This post-apocalyptic, psychological horror flick picks up after a virus has wiped out
most of the world's population.
The story focuses on a family that's cut itself off from the rest of the world to avoid the
plague.
When another group of survivors join them, paranoia and fear of what might be in the
woods drives them beyond the edge.
Critics praised the film for finding terror in the relationship among survivors, and bringing
a refreshingly simple doom to a tale of the apocalypse.
A Dark Song
When you dabble with the dark arts, it's almost certainly destined to go wrong.
That's the premise behind A Dark Song, which follows two people who retreat into a house
in the woods to try and make contact with those in the beyond.
What happens will stick with you long after the movie ends, nestling into your psyche
for some lingering scares.
It might've initially flown under the radar, but A Dark Song is well worth a visit.
Raw
The story of a vegetarian who develops a taste for raw meat is an interesting narrative,
but Raw wrings that premise for all it's worth and more, telling a story with deep social
and emotional poignancy, with a clever spin on the challenges of adolescence.
And the way writer and director Julia Ducournau wraps that story is a gory masterpiece positively
dripping with viscera and blood.
The Girl With All the Gifts
One of the smartest zombie movies in recent years, The Girl With All the Gifts uses the
undead to explore some deeper emotional and philosophical questions.
The story focuses on a group of children who are somehow immune to an epidemic disease
which has destroyed the world, and the role they can play in saving humanity.
It might be a post-apocalyptic zombie story with doses of sci-fi, but the film is packed
with more than a few good scares.
Annabelle: Creation
The Conjuring has quickly become one of the biggest horror franchises of the decade, and
the latest spinoff from the creepy mothership does not disappoint.
Annabelle: Creation, the second film to focus on the nefarious antique doll featured in
the main Conjuring films, jumps back in time to tell an early story from when Annabelle
was still a relatively new danger-doll.
A marked improvement over the first Annabelle film, the film was a surprisingly moody and
effective horror yarn.
Happy Death Day
If you're looking for a horror flick with some biting humor, make a date with Happy
Death Day—it's Groundhog Day with a bloody slasher twist.
The film centers on a college student who's executed on her birthday, which she has to
keep reliving over and over until she can figure out who attacked her.
The story has charm and, although derivative, offers up some authentic thrills and humor
for audiences of the jump-scare persuasion.
The Babysitter
Netflix's The Babysitter is one heck of a fun little horror romp, best described as
an R-rated, blood-soaked, titillating modern-day spin on a 1980s horror B-movie.
It's obviously low-budget, but although it's not high art, the film is still well worth
the hour-and-a-half it takes to kick back and enjoy it.
It's a cheesy good time, so give it a shot and The Babysitter might just be the silly
little surprise you needed this year.
Better Watch Out
Critics are calling this one "Home Alone meets The Strangers" because the film puts a spin
on the home invasion thriller formula.
Better Watch Out follows what happens when invaders break in to a home protected by a
group of kids and their babysitter.
Instead of retreating in fear, the kids start setting booby traps and have a whole lot of
R-rated fun in the process to protect the house -- with plenty of twists to unwrap before
the credits roll.
"Isn't this exciting?"
Super Dark Times
If you're looking for a VHS-era throwback, the 1990s-set Super Dark Times finds terror
in the simple, boring life in suburbia.
The visceral thriller is considered "a coming-of-age nightmare" and landed to near universal critical
acclaim.
The story follows a group of teens who are driven apart following the disappearance of
another teen, and presents a bygone era of innocence through a bloody intense lens.
Gerald's Game
Stephen King's collection has been all over the small and silver screens this year, but
the latest adaptation quietly slipped under the radar—despite being one of the best
of the bunch.
Gerald's Game follows a wife who's left shackled to a bed after a weekend getaway with her
husband takes a dark turn.
She's forced to face everything from starvation to her own doubts and demons as she tries
to find a way to escape and survive.
The novel was previously thought to be unfilmable, so imagine everyone's surprise when the movie
not only happened -- but turned out to be pretty great, without sacrificing the meat
of the story.

Things Your Husband Wishes You Would Do More Often - Duration: 4:20.
We know what you're thinking: with all the things you have to get done in a day, the
last thing you need is another several items on your to-do list — especially if it involves
trying harder to please the man in your life.
"Hey!" you might say.
"What about my needs?"
"Don't I deserve love… and jewelry?"
Of course, marriage is a two-way street — but it's also a partnership where teamwork makes
the dream work, and one where you don't have to wait for your husband to start doing all
the right things.
So with that in mind, here are some things he definitely wishes you'd do more often,
for the sake of both your happiness.
Shake it up
Juggling so many obligations can make you fixated on maintaining your routine — but
what if you got spontaneous, abandoned your schedule, and did something fun for a change?
Not only does a man love to see his partner let loose everyone so often, but you'll reap
the rejuvenating rewards, too.
When you ditch the office during lunch time and meet up with your hubby instead, anything
could happen.
"Do you want breakfast?"
"Okay!"
Let things go
If you're having a bad day, it can be tempting to take your frustrations out on your husband
— whether you're harping on him over a recurring issue in your marriage or just venting at
him about whatever's got you worked up.
Of course, communication is important, and you deserve to see your guy as a confidante.
But once you've made your point, consider reeling it in, especially if you realize you've
begun repeating yourself.
Make the first move
Even in a long-term relationship, many women seem to prefer being chased to taking the
reins.
But even if this dynamic usually works for you, your husband might really wish that,
at least once in awhile, you let your inner hunter come out to play.
If you want to shake up your pattern in a way that's fun for both of you, try initiating
some alone time instead of waiting for him to make the move.
Your favorite
Every person has a past, but by the time you're ready to settle down, you and your spouse
will be secure enough in your relationship that you don't dwell on each other's priors…
well, most of the time.
"If we're gonna date you may have to defeat my seven evil exes."
The truth is, it's normal to feel insecure when your partner is telling a story about
her ex that seems particularly memorable or nostalgic — and in those moments, a little
reassurance can go a long way, even if your husband acts like he's brushing it off.
So if you're dishing about your past, don't be afraid to cap off that story by letting
your husband know that his chapter in your life is the best yet.
Put down your phone
We've all been annoyed by that friend who won't tear her eyes away from the screen to
have a face-to-face conversation — but most of us do the same thing to others without
realizing it, particularly the people we spend the most time with.
Unless you already have a no-screens rule in place, your husband would probably love
for you to put your phone down and give him your full attention from time to time.
Let him help
If your husband gets the kids dressed and their clothes don't match, or if he sets the
table using the ivory dishes when you wanted to use the white ones, this is your chance
to remind yourself that there's more than one way to get a job done — and resist the
urge to jump in and fix his work just because he does things differently.
When so much goes into raising a family and running a household, micromanaging the way
your partner contributes is counterproductive.
Instead of correcting your husband over every little thing, save the intervention for times
when it actually matters… and realize that mostly, it doesn't.
Lower your expectations
Okay, so maybe it sounds bad when we put it that way — but society perpetuates a lot
of myths about what a good marriage should look like.
"Knock it off!"
And if you expect your husband to behave like a literal Prince Charming, your unrealistic
expectations may be interfering with your ability to see how much he loves you.
Instead of comparing your relationship to an unattainable fairy tale, be realistic and
take notice of the ways your husband makes you a priority.
You might be surprised by how all those small gestures add up.

DCS: F-15C FC3 - Electronic Warfare, RwR, Jammer, Contramesures - #10 Tutorial - English subtitles - Duration: 13:49.
Hi and welcome to Revientor Reborn, this is DCS FC3 with a F-15 and today I speak about the RWR and electronic warfare
let´s start with the jammer, easy and fast to explain, there is only one key for the jammer, you have all the keys needed under the web cam
this is the RwR scope, If I use the key to activate the jammer, you see that X flashing,
that means the jammer is warming up, around 14 second until is active, now it is steady the jammer is working
no the jammer is working as it has
be careful with that because other planes just have to turn it on, here you have to way a few second to have a effective jamming signal
there is no more about the jammer, it cover 360º the strongest power on the nose and tail,
now with chaff and flare, on the right, when a program is released, the chaff and flare light come up
I can release only chaff or only flare....
there is the quantity, chf 110 flr 56
we have 3 ways to release, program button release 1 chaff and 1 flare, and one button to drop chaff and other one to flares
you have to hit the button many time as you need to evade a missile
now Iah almost run out of flares I have the lecture minimun
6 left, lest drop them
once you are run out the indication is steady and minimum disappears
the same with the chaff
50 left....
you can change the numbers in the mission editor
now with 20 left there is the minimum reading there
and when run out the lecture is steady
there is no more about countermeasures
the other day I saw a countermeasure program button on the cockpit but this is arcade sim and you can not config anything of this
now with the more enjoyable area, the RwR
in the F-15 is a TAWS but any way a warning receiver...
you have the AI/SAM light and the scope
with that AI/SAM light will indicate the system priority, now is a F-15, the sound pi pi pi is from a new symbol on the screen
with that semicircular area over the new symbol denotes the new symbol is that one
this F-15 is inside a diamond because is the priority target in the system due its straight signal power
wen the priority is a airplane the AI lecture is on, when a ground unit the lecture is a SAM
over the air thereas like the F15 we have a small triangle, that means AA radar
the system have a 7 second of history, when a contact is detected will be there at minimum as 7 second, or more if it again detected
can track 16 emitters
when 17 emitters around will show the more priorities ones
look the F14, is the most prioritary threat, is AA for that the triangle and is the new symbol the semicircular one, the ir only one remaining symbol missed the shoot one, is a full flashing circle , could happen get all those symbols in one emitter
there are two mode in the RwR, all and tracking mode
with right shift R you change the mode, look like no one have a lock on me, I have a clear RwR in the tracking mode
now If I go to normal mode... I get all I hope you can see the sam light in here...
several tries to se the sam.... nothing....
I will get close to the sam to show to you that light
with right Alt, or . you can rise or lower the rwr sound
you have several sound, the new symbol, locked and the shoot sound
we see in the next minutes
look the sam do not want to be the priority
there is no luck, just trust in me
there is no more to speak about this, now let see the sound in combat
look now there is the SAM light there XD
the RwR priority, the AWACS or a search radar will never be inside the lethal zone,
one of the priorities is how strong the signal is, there is the mig29 with the sound of new guy or symbol
the coverage of the RwR Is 180ºhorizontal +-45 on the vertical
there is that mig29 with R77, let´s wait to see the shoot
I will change the rwr mode to all-tracking to show to you when the system works
it´s a 70nm
now the mig29 is the biggest threat in the system
32nm
now this sound is because the 29 lock on me, now in the mode tracking I will only see the trackings sipes like that 29
this mode works but you usually use the all mode except in very crowded areas
that is the sound of "you had been fired"
now I am activating the jammer and it´s eternity to get it on....
that is like he shoot at mi an Aim7,
sooner the M spike must be over me...
there is the M, Look in the M all symbols are present
the 29 is flashing because it shoot a missile at me
DCS is kind of cheto, because this type of missile do not need full radar track, my RwR mustn't know he shoot at me until the M is active
that was all, no more to say, just see If I did or not...
be carefull with the dead zones of the RwR, you can thing that you evaded the missile but it was just in a blind spot
look the 29 when is in or out that blind spot
I hope you liked the tutorial is all very arcade you know,
subscribe if you are not a subscriber, be happy bye bye

Here's Why There's No More Free Passes For The Clinton Foundation - Duration: 8:41.
Here's Why There's No More Free Passes For The Clinton Foundation
A new Department of Justice probe of the email and charity fraud scandals won't end well
for Bill or Hillary...
Until recently, the Clinton Foundation has been monitored by the IRS, the Department
of Justice, and the FBI, and multiple state government authorities that are seeded with
persons loyal to either the Clintons or the Obamas.
Every time, the Clinton Foundation got a free pass.
But now it appears key authorities may finally be turning strict attention toward answering
tough questions about public filings of Clinton charities inside and outside the United
States.
When these powerful organizations engage motivated minds, they will wish to concentrate on a
few areas that have long gone begging for attention.
The first time the Clinton Foundation was investigated, between 2001 and 2005, then-FBI
Director Robert Mueller, then-Deputy Attorney General James Comey, and others could not
seem to find obvious and escalating frauds as a supposed presidential library complex
in Little Rock, Arkansas, also fought HIV/AIDS internationally from unregistered offices
in New York and Massachusetts without ever obtaining required audits of worldwide activities.
Strangely, as the first investigation wound down, evidence in the public domain suggests
that the Clinton Foundation also defrauded the National Archivist by making demonstrably
false representations in a binding legal agreement.
For example, there is no evidence the IRS provided final approval to the Clinton Foundation
to fight HIV/AIDS internationally as a tax-exempt purpose by Nov. 18, 2004, the
date the presidential archive was officially donated.
That Nov. 18, 2004, agreement is nowhere to be found today on the Clinton Foundation website
and in public filings despite the charitys more than 13 years of widespread solicitation
across state and national boundaries using telephones, mail, and the internet.
The next major investigation started in December 2009 when the French government launched a
detailed look into UNITAID, a multilateral international organization primarily funded
by France that has sent more than $650 million to arms of the Clinton Foundation
engaged, at least in theory, in fighting HIV and AIDS.
Reports concerning this investigation, written in French and published in 2010 and 2011,
show that French government authorities, like their U.S. counterparts, missed the heart
of the problem posed by the Clinton Foundation.
The foundation, by its own description, started soliciting funding for its fight against HIV
and AIDS early in 2002, though its authorized charitable status didnt change until March
2004, after the Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative Inc. was officially recognized
on March 24, 2004, in Arkansas.
Applications made to the IRS, to various states and to foreign governments for tax exemption
and solicitation rights to pursue this radically different mission, are not available on the
central portal operated by the Clinton Foundation, nor forthcoming, yet, from the governments
concerned.
Federal tax filings for this entity for the partial year in 2004 and for 2005 arent
available on the Clinton Foundation website, perhaps because they show substantial activities
that seem to fall far outside tax-exempt purposes approved by the IRS.
n addition, these and other tax filings fail to explain payments to members of the Clinton
family for services received and for reimbursement of expenses by donors to the Clinton Foundation.
Even though there is no public record that the Clinton Foundation ever was authorized
to control a supposed charity fighting HIV/AIDS internationally, the Clinton Foundation
HIV/AIDS Initiative Inc. was supposedly liquidated as of Dec. 31, 2005, with all of its worldwide
activities and obligations supposedly taken over by the parent foundation.
There is no evidence in the public domain that the merger was lawfully completed in
each U.S. state and foreign country in which either entity operated.
From 2006 through 2009, the Clinton Foundation solicited funds and received a majority of
its growing revenues, in theory, to fight HIV and AIDS internationally.
Required audits were not prepared to strict U.S. requirements.
Moreover, versions of these audits on the Clinton Foundation website exclude key combining
statements that show for 2007 through 2009 just how substantial HIV- and AIDS-specific
financial amounts are compared to the combined total.
The Clinton Foundation attempted to reorganize in 2009, but available public filings could
place multiple individuals in significant jeopardy.
For example, claims made to the IRS in applications for federal tax exemption on Form 1023, under
penalties of perjury, are false and materially misleading concerning numerous entities created
after Sept. 4, 2009, to carry on unauthorized activities in which the Clinton Foundation
had been engaged starting in 2002.
To get to the heart of the vexing problems that allowed the largest unprosecuted charity
frauds ever attempted to flourish from January 2001 forward, one must ask many questions
of central figures in federal, state and foreign governments.
How did Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, while U.S. attorney in Maryland, miss the
fact that the Clinton Foundation was promoting use of potentially adulterated HIV and AIDS
drugs from October 2003 forward, even as he took until May 2013 to help win a $500 million
set of penalties against the Indian manufacturer of the generic drugs?
Why was an African-American selected for prosecution during her re-election campaign in 2016 when
Hillary Clinton was left unscathed despite the many years of questionable charitable
activities by the Clinton Foundation?
How did Rosenstein miss obvious errors in the Clinton Foundation tax filings for 2010
(originally submitted in 2011 with amended versions submitted in 2015) concerning a $37.1
million donation to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund at a P.O.
Box address in Baltimore, Maryland, that was never declared, as required, in key states
like New York?
Why did Rosenstein (and many other officials, including New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman),
fail to require Laureate Education and the Clinton Foundation to explain how they organized
the Clinton Global Initiative University and why the Clinton Foundation tax filings
for 2010 through 2016 dont explain what Bill Clinton did for the $17.6 million he
was paid as part-time chancellor while he held key roles at the Clinton Foundation?
Former Congresswoman Corrine Brown, a Florida Democrat, reports to jail for a five-year
term in federal prison following her conviction of being part of an $800,000 charity fraud.
Why was this African-American selected for prosecution during her re-election campaign
in 2016 when Hillary Clinton was left unscathed despite the many years of questionable charitable
activities by the Clinton Foundation?
Former presidents in either the Democratic or Republican parties are not above the law.
Now its up to President Donald Trump to make this fact abundantly clear.

NEW FALLOUT WASTELAND WARFARE UPDATE // MrStainless001 - Duration: 3:47.
Hey everyone, Sam here also known as MrStainless and a while back here on the channel I brought
you the news that Modiphius were working on a tabletop miniature game set in the world
of Fallout.
Now as a fan of Fallout and equally as someone who is falling in love again with the hobby
this immediately caught my attention.
Fallout Wasteland Warfare is going to be a tabletop skirmish game, which basically means
that one or more players will take their faction to the table and battle it out either in an
all out deathmatch or perhaps for an objective based game.
Modiphius have equally said that there will be a narrative mode but we're still waiting
to hear more on that.
Faction-wise you're going to be able to play as the Super Mutants, Brotherhood of
Steel or Boston Survivors which include the merry band of misfits from Sanctuary.
There equally are ghoul miniatures so you could likely build up a feral warband
of them too.
Modiphius recently showed off the professional paint jobs on some of their core sets, specifically
the Super Mutants and the Brotherhood of Steel.
As you would expect they look stunning, if only I could paint this well, as an added
bonus Modiphius have said on their Facebook page that they will be releasing painting
guides for at least some of their mini's which I think will be super helpful for those
of us, like myself, who are still at the Padawan level in the hobby.
Not only that though but Modiphius did showcase some pieces of scenery that we'll be able
to decorate our game-boards with including Nuka Cola dispensers, dilapidated desks and
terminals and of course the trademark Chryslus.
Finally the Dev's did give us a quick look at what we can expect in Wave 2 of Wasteland
Warfare which will include a set of X-01 Power Armour, this will come with either the standard
X-01 helmet or with Nora or Nate's head for you to pick and choose from depending
on your own vision for the model.
Modiphius have said that this will be a powerful armour set and as such they need to introduce
equally powerful enemies to balance it all out…enter the Mirelurh Queen which looks
absolutely terrifying.
It has been confirmed that the Mirelurk Queen miniature will be a special pre-order item
for wave 2, I'm not sure if you'll be able to purchase it normally once Wave 2 is
released but one would assume so right?
Either way the Mirelurk Queen will be about the same size as the Super Mutant Behemoth
miniature, if you could call it that and here's a handy little reference guide they put together
just so you can see how much the Behemoth and inevitable Mirelurk Queen will dwarf the
standard mini's.
For me, I'm really looking forward to this game, I've already
put my pre-order in for the two player starter set and I think I may be actually more excited
just to get my hands on the miniatures and get painting them.
In the meantime why not let me know what you think of the game down in the comments below,
I do have plans to actually create a Fallout themed gaming board here on the channel so
why not let me know if thats something you'd be interested in seeing.
In the meantime though if this is the first time you've come across the channel, you're
so welcome, feel free to subscribe to be kept up to date with when new videos go live but
until next time have a great week, and I'll speak to you soon.
