Waching daily Jan 9 2018

Well we're back in full swing in the office as we head into this new year. You

can see the map is back, all of our projects are indicated, and you know as

I've been just seeking the Lord at the beginning of a new year, I feel like one

of the things He's saying to me and to so many of us is, "Be still and know that

I am God." And if your life is like mine sometimes that's a challenge.

Not a challenge because I don't want it. It's a challenge because life just

creates so many interruptions and so I just want to encourage you to be still

and know that God's got your back. He's in your tomorrow. I also want to say that

as we're looking at projects that we're going to be investing in in the coming

year and assessing and evaluating the ones we're currently involved in,

I'm just so aware that it's by the power of God that we are able to do the

things that we do. And so as we look at all of that and as we seek and claim for

ourselves the fact that it's '"not by might nor power, but by My spirit," says

the Lord '"let's go into 2018 together fully committed once again to help as

many vulnerable children as we ca, but let's do it knowing that the thing that

not only motivates us but also empowers us is the Spirit of God. And we can only

connect with that if we're willing to be still. So that's my word for you as we

head into 2018. I share with you what God is speaking to me. "Be still and know that

He is God."

Anti Trump "National Review" Throws in Towel, Admits Trump Massi - Duration: 7:17.

Anti-Trump National Review Throws in Towel, Admits Trump Massive Success

Among the pantheon of conservative publications, the National Review the magazine founded

by William F. Buckley, which has been the mouthpiece of the conservative movement for

over a half-century has been the intellectual center of the #NeverTrump movement on the

right.

For all of Bill Kristols machinations and quixotic attempts to derail Trump, his Weekly

Standard has come nowhere near publishing the amount of invective against the president

that the National Review has.

In fact, just two Januarys ago, as it became clear that the real estate mogul wasnt

just a novelty candidate but a serious force to be contended with, the magazine went as

far to publish an anti-Trump issue, complete with pieces from conservatives like the aforementioned

Kristol, Glenn Beck, Thomas Sowell, Dana Loesch and Katie Pavlich, among others.

As late as last October, the magazine was still on the #NeverTrump train, with writer

Victor Davis Hanson saying that the president is a symptom, not the cause of the GOPs

internal strife arguing, of course, that those who supported him were the problem.

Perhaps it was the calendar turning over on Trumps first year in the White House, or

the fact that the president has shepherded more irrefutably conservative initiatives

than even his most staunch supporters probably could have hoped for. Whatever the case may

be, the magazine seems to have done a bit of a reappraisal on the president and his

agenda and while it may not be a 180-degree shift, its an undeniable sign that even

#NeverTrump conservatives are beginning to come around on our 45th president.

In a piece called The Great Experiment published earlier this week by National Review,

the same Hanson who argued that Trump voters are the problem said that Trumps presidency

represented the first time in the post-war era that weve gone from a hard left

president to a hard right administration in succession.

Most new administrations do not really completely overturn their predecessors

policies to enact often-promised ideologically driven change, Hanson writes. The 18-year

span of Harry Truman to Dwight Eisenhower to John F. Kennedy was mostly a continuum

from center-left to center-right, back to center-left. Kennedy was probably as hawkish

and as much of a tax cutter as was Eisenhower.

The seven years of Jerry Ford to Jimmy Carter were a similar transition or even

the twelve years of George H. W. Bush to Bill Clinton. The deck chairs changed, but the

ship sailed in mostly the same manner to mostly the same direction. Even the supposed great

divide of 1981 did not mean that Jimmy Carter had been as left-wing as Ronald Reagan was

right-wing. Carters fight against inflation and renewed defense build-up was continued

in part by Reagan. George W. Bush was not as markedly right-wing as Barack Obama was

clearly left-wing. In sum, there have rarely been back-to-back complete reversals in presidential

agendas.

Hanson declared in the same publication that has repeatedly declared Trump to be a

moderate liberal in conservative clothing that Trump had accomplished a rare feat

being able to go from the extreme left of the Obama administration and implementing

a conservative agenda.

Whatever Donald J. Trumps political past and vociferous present, his first year

of governance is most certainly as hard conservative as Barack Obamas eight years were hard

progressive, Hanson writes. We are watching a rare experiment in political governance

play out, as we go, in back-to-back fashion, from one pole to its opposite.

Hanson notes Obamas foreign policy missteps in Libya, Syria, Iraq, North Korea, Iran,

Cuba, Venezuela, Israel and Egypt (quite the list, one must note).

All reflected his own larger visions of European Union and American progressivism

as models for transnational world governance. A global council of Davos-like elites would

best adjudicate climate-change crises, the excesses of capitalism, dangerous nationalism,

the parochial and outdated restrictions on migration and immigration, and the lingering

but still pernicious legacies of Western imperialism and colonialism, Hanson wrote, noting that

Obama preferred to let crises more or less work themselves out on their own.

And then there was identity politics, larger, more intrusive government, big green

and you didnt build that.

By January 2017, American culture and the economy at home and foreign policy abroad

reflected Obamas values: pathways to abortion on demand, radical gun control, tribalism,

and democratic socialism, Hanson writes.

Then came the unforeseen nomination, election, and governance of Donald J. Trump, he continues.

Unlike George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush, Trump was determined to ram through

a conservative agenda not seen since the Reagan revolution of 198189 and to govern

as conservatively as Obama had progressively.

This includes tax reform and reduction, conservative judges and cabinet heads, stepped-up

energy production, deregulation, a new realist and deterrent foreign policy, (and) immigration

recalibration.

In other words, free-market economics, deterrent foreign policies, and conservative

cultural reform that are championed in the abstract in think tanks, on radio and television

by conservative pundits, and in magazines and journals by conservative intellectuals

are currently being put to work concretely in the real world, a rare occurrence, Hanson

writes.

In other words, Trumps administration has been a massive success on almost every major

issue that the National Review is pushing.

Hanson sounds a note of caution that these ideas need to undergo the test of implementation.

However, weve seen pleasant auguries so far, pleasant enough that even the National

Review seems to be throwing in the towel on their #NeverTrumpism.

What a difference a year and an administration makes.

Please like and share on Facebook and Twitter if you agree.

A Disease's Guide to World Domination - Duration: 3:22.

Hi, this is Kate from MinuteEarth.

Let's say you're an infectious disease with dreams of spreading as far and wide as

possible.

Your logical starting point might be to invade a host and make as many mini-yous as fast

as you can to spread to as many other hosts as you can.

However, that would be probably be counterproductive, because the more of yourself you make, the

worse your host feels.

And the worse they feel, the less likely they are to go out and interact with other potential

hosts.

That's a problem if you're like most pathogens and require close contact, like a handshake,

a shared drink, or something more...intimate, to move from host to host.

This reliance on close contact imposes a major constraint: most diseases have to limit the

damage they inflict in order to keep their hosts feeling well enough, and alive enough,

to drag themselves out of bed and into contact with other potential hosts.

That's why most diseases - even if they aren't fun - usually only cause limited

harm.

But there are pathogens that can get around much more freely, and they're able to get

really nasty...like cholera...some strains of this diarrhea-causing bacteria can kill

their hosts in a matter of hours.

Since the disease can move through water, hosts don't have to be particularly mobile

to transmit it.

In fact, sicker hosts poop more bacteria into the water supply, diarrheaching even more

people.

So cholera is free to replicate with abandon and inflict serious damage.

The same is true for diseases transmitted by flies, mosquitoes, and other creepy-crawlies

- which can access even super-sick hosts and easily spread the pathogen around, and for

diseases that can linger in the environment for years waiting for a new host.

In general, pathogens that can be passed along at a distance – or after long periods of

time – tend to be more lethal than those that require close contact.

Yet we may be able to tame these diseases by imposing the constraint of direct contact.

For example, in the 1990's, a cholera epidemic in South America spread from places where

bacteria could move freely through the water supply - to areas where better sanitation

practices made water-borne transmission impossible.

There, since cholera had to rely on decent-feeling hosts to spread, it evolved into a milder

strain.

So interventions for deadly diseases, like cleaning up water supplies, or, say, using

bed nets regularly to keep insects away, can not only keep people from getting sick, they

can also turn deadly diseases into diseases that only make people moderately sick.

And that's an exciting germ of an idea.

[ENGSUB] Run BTS! 2018 - EP.35 - Duration: 28:34.

[Run BTS - Kimchi Battle -]

Run BTS!

[Looking at Jin] I smell something.

[Sniff] - Yes, really... - What's this smell? - Where are we?

It's the heart of Korea.

[What are these ingredients?!]

- There's napa cabbages. - You can tell right away, right?

I think we're going to make kimchi. Is that right?

[Today's Run BTS! <Kimchi Battle>]

[BTS makes kimchi as the kimchi-making season is here!]

[Divided into 3 teams]

[They make distinctive kimchi from different regions (Gyeonggi, Gyeongsang, Jeolla)]

[Which team will make the best kimchi?]

- Wow. - Making different kimchi by region.

Why don't you promote your hometown?

What kind if kimchi is popular in Geochang?

We make kimchi with oysters.

- Oh! - Oyster kimchi! - Yes.

- What about Gyeongsang Province? - My mother's kimchi is the most famous.

Can I ask my mother for help?

- Yes, you can. - For 60 seconds. Nice. - 60 seconds.

- We call it jimchi in Chungcheong Province. - Jimchi? - Why?

[Catching up on Chungcheong by Gyeonggi man] - Should I make jimchi today. - Jimchi.

That sounds like some noir film.

- Cabbage kimchi in Gyeonggi Province. - Cabbage kimchi. - That's good.

[Gyeongsang - radish kimchi, boiled pork] - Radish kimchi in Gyeongsang Province. - Radish!

Young radish kimchi is called Chonggak kimchi.

- But... - Perilla leaf kimchi in Jeolla

- and burdock kimchi. - What? I've never heard of it.

- Is there such a thing. - I know perilla leaf kimchi.

But what is burdock kimchi? They make kimchi with burdock?

They make kimchi with this.

[Burdock] Isn't this a bamboo flute?

[Witty J-Hope] I was in a bamboo flute club.

[Time to team up] - Let's decide a partner. - Please.

- Does anyone want to chance? - Let's just go for it.

[Sneak] - Should we open it one by one or together? - Let's do it together.

[Changing their papers] What? No, I won't change. Never.

[Crazy youngest members, as usual]

I don't have anything. Don't take mine. I need one.

Let's open it. 1, 2, 3.

[Checking out the region] Perilla leaf kimchi, burdock kimchi.

Last name Kim, 3 guys. Come on out.

[Cabbage kimchi team : RM & Jin & V] Hello, we're 3 Kims.

[Radish kimchi, boiled pork : J-Hope & Jungkook] Gyeongsang Province.

[Perilla leaf, burdock kimchi : Suga & Jimin] Perilla leaf and burdock. Never heard of burdock kimchi.

[Jeolla & Gyeongsang chemistry] When Jeolla and Gyeongsang work together,

- what kind of kimchi will come into... - Cubed radish kimchi!

[Monologue radish team] We should make boiled pork as well.

[Jin can tell how it's going to be] Looks like I have to make kimchi by myself.

[Kim : Jin, Chi : RM & V] He's Kim, and we're Chi.

[Listening] We'll keep the kimchi you make today to make some kimchi dish later.

My kimchi fried rice is awesome.

[Proud of Jin] Jin is a great cook.

- I've made kimchi for 5 years when I was in elementary school. - Sure.

[What is it?] - Burdock kimchi is... - I know. I've never heard of it.

All we have to do is listen to Jin.

[Jin's tips on making cabbage kimchi] It's simple. First, get the cabbages salted.

It takes a day, so we get off work.

[The crew is prepared for this] - See you tomorrow. - The cabbages are salted.

We invited a Korean food expert who will help you.

[Applause!] Wow. Hello.

[Bow] [Park Jungsook] - Hello. - Hello.

[1998-2001 Cook master of Miryang City] I have a cook license in Korean cuisine.

[Specialized in wedding food, currently running a restaurant] I'm honored to join the global stars.

[Wow] - We're flattered. - Thank you.

[Let's cut to the chase] What should we do now?

You'll be given the recipe and if you have questions, you can ask her.

All right. Why don't we shout "Run BTS"?

[Voice breaking?] - Run BTS! - Let's make kimchi. Let's go!

[Making kimchi START!] - Now make kimchi. - Here we go.

[Under the leadership of RM?] One should be in charge of radish.

[Deep sigh] [V... are you doing the surgery?] I'll take care of spring parsley.

- I'll cut spring parsley into 3 cm long. - All right.

This is 3 cm long.

[The gap is apparent] - This long? - That's 10 cm.

This is 20 cm.

[Dumbfounded] It should be 3 cm long. Why do you bring up 20 cm?

[Innocent] - This is exactly 20 cm. - Will you split that into 7?

[Suga is enlightened] They make plastic gloves extra long. Amazing.

[Huh...?] We should make boiled pork and pork.

[Serious] Should I boil water?

[Everyone is all over the place] Not yet. Boiled pork doesn't take long. This does.

- Boil water and make boiled pork first. - I know. That's what I thought.

[J-Hope tells him off, Jungkook works quietly] I've lived three more years than you.

[Jimin uses the 60-sec mother chance] I'm using the 60-second chance.

[V is putting on surgical gloves] - My mom set the Rolly Rolly song. - That's nice.

- Mom. - Yeah.

- I'm filming something, mom. I have to make perilla leaf kimchi. - OK.

[Working hard] - Perilla leaves are pickled. - They're pickled?

[Concentrated] I think so.

[Doing their own things] Hello?

Perilla leaves are supposed to be pickled.

[The teacher teaches an easy way to Suga] That will make things messy.

[Say something, guys...] Do it in one stroke. Push it harder.

At one stroke. There you go.

At one stroke.

[J-Hope is preparing water for boiled pork] - How should I make a cut? - Neat. - Neat?

[J-Hope & Jungkook's great chemistry] - Repeat after me. If possible. - If possible.

[The teacher's demonstration] Like this. Put the whole thing in.

[Super serious] - Right now? - Yes.

Mom. My mother.

[J-Hope is worried about Suga] Suga, are you doing okay over there?

[Shrug] I'm quite a good cook, for real.

[V is watching the members cook] Can you cook, Taehyung?

You should cut like this. That's easier.

[I've never cooked, but I've seen someone cook] How would you cut like that?

[The radish team divided their roles] Peeling the radish is so much work.

[Suga & Jungkook says their work is the hardest] I think this is the hardest work.

Hey, a radish is big enough to peel. But a burdock is too small.

- I'm done. Now I should cut it into cubes. - Cut it into heart shape.

- You put so much efforts. Your kimchi will turn out really great. - I'll do my best.

[Jimin's 60-second mom chance is over] OK, mother. I got it.

[Jungkook is cutting carefully] Cut it.

It should have been the other way around. Like this.

What are you doing, Taehyung? Chop salted shrimp.

[If you won't cook, sing a song] Why don't you sing a song?

[I'll take song requests] Any song requests? I can sing anything.

- Song requests? - Yes. - "Save Me".

[Save Me] Give me your hand save me save me.

[Keeps singing even during changing positions]

What are you doing? Is that some background music?

[A guy who got excited while making kimchi] Yeah, there you go!

[Dangerous] Stop dancing. I might cut myself.

Yes, that's possible.

[Suga shows a talent in kimchi-making?] I think I'm quite skilled.

- Should I put everything? - You guys put quite a lot of effort into this.

I think you should put everything in.

[Suga's accent] Making kimchi requires efforts.

[Angel J-Hope cares about the crew] For our staff members.

Isn't a grater for grinding?

It can make julienne strips?

[Jin was cutting with a knife]

You're so 20th century. It's the 21st century.

[Amazed]

[Surprised]

[Jin is enlightened] It's like a new world.

[What is it?] When you use this...

[Suga is surprised Jin didn't know] What age are you living in?

[Oh] Awesome.

[Jungkook is chopping with his veins pop out] You're doing really great.

- What is the saddest vegetable in the world? - Uooong (Burdock).

[How funny]

Then what is the happiest vegetable in the world?

- How would I know that? - Cabbage.

[V has a knack for decoration] I'll decorate it.

[Glance] OK, you do that. Find lots of plates.

This should do the trick.

I need plates!

[V has an eye for plating] This is perfect.

Are you still peeling?

[Feeling guilty] Hey! Peeling is important.

[Jimin is puzzled] - I wasn't talking to you. - Really?

I think all I can do is decoration.

[Working hard] [V is working on decoration behind the kitchen]

Let's make a 2-syllable poem with Kimchi. Kim.

Kim Seokjin, Kim Namjoon, and Kim Taehyung

- Chi. - are cheap.

[Dumbfounded] How come there's only such a word for Chi?

[2-syllable poem with Danggeun (carrot)] Let's try again with Danggeun (carrot). Dang.

- You go ahead. Dang. - You.

- Geun. - have a strong will.

[J-Hope is discussing with the youngest] - Am I doing it right? - As for the thickness,

[Listen carefully] You know cubed radish kimchi. Think about that.

The width doesn't really matter.

[Working hard] Whether it's in heart shape or not.

[The decoration is done in the meantime] I engraved BTS.

[BTS decoration by V] - Cool. Isn't that B.S? - B.T. No.

Nice. Let's make Kimchi with this.

[The eldest encourages him, giving missions] That's neat. One for Jin, and V and RM.

- That's going to be a little hard. - What I'm doing is hard too.

This is a special radish, guys.

If you get this, you're the winner.

[Focusing on making kimchi] Who am I talking to?

- To ARMY. - Who am I talking to?

[J-Hope is talking with ARMY] I put my heart and soul into this radish.

[Hope's heart towards the fans]

[V is teaching RM...?] RM, if you don't cut this, leaving just this...

No can do. That will make kimchi bitter.

[Thick face, teaching him again as if nothing happened] That will make it bitter.

The leaves should be removed.

[Busy] Hey, isn't this too big?

[A radish as big as a fist] Did you have radish kimchi this big?

[Is that a cubed radish?] That looks like a soap.

[Amazed] This is so...

I wonder how my mom did all this.

[Realizing the parents' hard work and love] My shoulders are sore.

[J-Hope is creating art with the radish] Everyone, I put my heart into

this second piece of radish.

[Jungkook's frustration pent up inside] Come on, I cut this much,

and he cut only this much.

[J-Hope is stammering] You can use it if you want.

[RM is confused]

[The napa cabbage kimchi looks confused] Right here.

[Can't figure out where to put the vegetable] - Right here. - Just put it there?

Yes, right here.

[3 cm-long spring parsley] He thinks this is 3 cm.

[So silly]

[Brazen] I was going to cut it, Jin.

Here's the third piece of radish.

[The youngest is stressed out because of him] All right.

[Hope is soothing him] - I cut this much. - OK. I'll do it seriously now.

[Passing the radish to Jungkook] - We have so much work to do. - All right.

You just passed this to me.

[Each team has a frustrated member] - Cut it right! - There's a mandoline.

[Jimin didn't know there's a mandoline and used the knife]

- I can just slice it with this? - Yeah.

Jin did just the same thing.

[Carrots are julienned real quick] Wow.

The world has come a long way, everyone.

[#Be careful_ promoting a mandoline] Use this utensil so you won't cut your hand.

[Scared] [Jin is threatened by the scissors] Don't hold the scissors toward me, Namjoon.

[RM is scared of himself] - I'm scared of Namjoon. - I'm scared of myself.

- Scallions. - Scallions.

Chop these scallions. Here!

- Scallions! Scallions! - Where did that come from?

You're so full of beans today.

- What's Hope's favorite character in "One Piece"? - Chopper!

[It's like a teen drama] Good. I'm feeling encouraged!

[Grabbing a handful] - Taehyung! [Freak out] - Stop. - Those scallions.

[V's touch causes a commotion]

- That's too much scallions. - Stop, stop.

How long has it been? 30 minutes?

All I've been doing was cutting carrots for 30 minutes? That's depressing.

[Kim brothers are watching the eldest Kim] I feel like...

[This feels strange, but not bad] It feels a little...

How do you tell something is slightly blanched?

[I can teach you!] To blanch means to briefly boil and remove it.

[Suga is bothered by "slightly"] I know that. But "slightly" is ambiguous.

Slightly? It means to parboil real quick and remove it.

[Solomon?] It's like when you have shabu shabu.

[J-Hope's full of energy] What can I do for you? This?

You're doing great.

[Mixing the kimchi paste into the cabbage] Pour the whole thing.

Should I start from the inside or the outside.

- Teacher! - Yes? - Could you teach us how to spread the paste?

[A very rare scene of V teaching cooking] You should spread on every leaf.

[Following what he's seen as a kid] Then it gets easier.

Simple and quick.

I've seen this a lot.

Bam bam. Spread it.

This can be a good exercise.

[1, 2, 1, 2] [Making a fuss] - It's so heavy. - My eyes are burning.

[My eyes are burning] [Focusing on their own task]

[J-Hope was chopping the radish on the floor] Making kimchi is so much work.

The kimchi paste was already made. That's a lot of work too.

[So tired] Oh my.

[Jimin sniffs something out of curiosity] What kind of sauce is that? Anchovy sauce?

Argh!

[Try this, Suga] [Share something nice] It's not bad.

[Jimin lets the other members smell it] You're strong.

[Smell it, Hope]

[So calm] Impressive.

[The teacher is demonstrating] - She'll show us. - This is too big.

- Oh. - We should wrap it in half?

[Oh I see] Fold it in half.

[She shows how to make kimchi!]

[They were doing it wrong] - We should redo this. - Yes, let's do it.

- And take one leaf. - All right.

[Like an owner at a traditional market] Wrap it around and taste it right away.

[Nom]

[Is it good?] - How is it? - It's incredible.

[Pleased] Does it taste good?

[Awesome!] [So good] It's incredible.

What do I do with this? It's ruined.

[King of destruction] I'm sorry. I destroyed one.

[Jimin wants Suga's approval] What do you think? Did I do a good job?

Is that carrot kimchi?

No, I will spread this paste on the perilla leaves.

[Satisfied] It looks pretty.

Open your mouth.

I washed my hands, teacher.

[Jimin came to ask the teacher for check] Could you taste this carrots?

- I washed my hands. - It's a little off.

- It's a little off? - I know. The red pepper power taste is missing, right?

[Firm] - No, the fish sauce is missing. - Taste this.

This kimchi tastes incredible.

Let me have a bite!

[Sweet Jin is caring about the crew] Our director should taste this. Where is he...

[Confused]

[Handsome Jin even when feeding the crew]

It would go really well with boiled pork.

[No no] - It's a little salty, right? - Because it should be served with rice.

[Huh?] The food is a little salty in Gyeongsang Province.

[V, you're making Gyeonggi kimchi] This is Gyeonggi Province.

Taehyung, when you said Gyeongsang Province, the teacher was like,

That's Gyeonggi Province style.

[The teacher dropped something...] - Oh no! - Something is dropped!

- What did she drop... - The sticky rice porridge!

1, 2, 3.

[Wowing] We have a pancake.

- Pass me some water, please. - My gloves got a hole.

- Can I get another pair? - How can you get a hole in the gloves?

I cut the finger part with the knife. I'm sorry.

[He didn't know it had a hole] It got on my finger a lot.

While making kimchi, let's think about the efforts of those who made it.

- Let's do that. - My mom and my grandmother.

[Making kimchi lets them reflect on their family] - And grandpa. - Mommy!

[Jimin looks confident] I'm done. I think this is good enough.

[Model student Jimin always asks questions] - Every 2 or 3 leaves. - Spread the paste here.

- And place it again. - There you go. Put more leaves.

[Huh!] [Jin got the kimchi paste on his cheek]

[Flustered] - It's me? - You look good, Jin. It's all right.

[He lets it slide] - Attractive mole? - Yes.

[Jin continues mixing the paste with the attractive mole on his face]

[The radish kimchi team's boiled pork] It's awesome.

Don't we need to poke it with a chopstick?

- You should. - Should I? - Yes.

- What happens? Would it flop around? - I'll poke your heart!

[Amazed] Hope is a pro entertainer. I really respect you.

I think you'll make a great home shopping host.

[Run BTS Home Shopping] [Available only today] [J-Hope's soul into the radish!] I put my heart

[The 4th piece of heart radish] into this 4th piece of radish.

[Along with Hope's natural paste!] [Call us] [Limited time offer! Almost sold out!]

[If you want to buy the radish into which J-Hope put his heart, call us! ARS 070-1994-0218]

[Suga tastes for seasoning]

Is this sugar?

[Pouring sugar]

[Flustered] Based on my experience, I think I need to put lots of sugar.

[Would it taste good?] That will make it taste good.

You're doing it so neat.

[Jimin's neat perilla leaf kimchi]

[Kimchi making makes them] How do moms do all this?

[appreciate their parents' hard work] Let's listen to "MAMA" together.

- My head, shoulders, knees, feet, back. - I'm done!

[Suga finished his burdock kimchi] - My first and second vertebra are sore. - I'm done.

[Suga's burdock kimchi looks good] Wow. Good job.

Take a look. When the container is almost full,

[Hidden talent V is teaching them] cover the top with unseasoned leaves.

[Can't believe it] V is teaching?

- Now follow me. - If possible.

[The other members are amused] - He said to follow him. - Until when will you do that?

When it's done, we should mark it like this.

Are you running a business?

It was really hard.

- It looks like an art. Give it a name, V. - Wild camomile.

Oh, that's romantic.

[Feeling happy by the compliments]

[Suga is kicking back] It's amazing. Are you done?

[Jimin is almost done] It's good. You want to try?

[Here's a rocker]

- Taehyung, taste my perilla leaf kimchi. [Whining] - No, thanks.

[95's argument begins again] - It's good. I just tasted it. - No!

[It's good] Is it edible?

Let me have a bite.

[Pouting] Seriously. How can you react like that?

[Awesome] - It seems like they're running a business. - Let's sell this.

[Strong accent] It's just 2 dollars. Oh my, there are so many people.

[The two teams seem like running a business] - We can name it Youth Kimchi. - I need sugar.

- Sugar! - Come in, Suga! - In you go, Suga!

[Sweet already...!]

I told you it's good! Yeah!

Let me cut it.

[Shrug] [Seems like he's sold kimchi for a decade]

Oh, are you here to film me? I'm honored.

[Spread] It's quite good. Would you like to taste it?

[Jimin is working hard, Suga is roaming around] It's really good. You can't believe me.

[My precious radish] - J-Hope! [Quick] - Hey, hey! 3 seconds rule!

We should eat this.

You applied the three seconds rule to cubed radish kimchi?

[Global stars BTS] - As usual. - We're BTS.

BTS is really something since we're going worldwide.

Jungkook's arms...

[Mixing the radish, Jungkook's eye-catching arms]

[The cabbage kimchi team now makes fresh kimchi] Fresh kimchi.

[The teacher cuts green onions with scissors] Cut scallions.

[That's an easy trick] - Mix it together? - Oh! - Together! Right.

[It's my type of thing] Wow! This is good.

- It's good. I tasted it. - Jungkook!

[We're on a broadcast] Stop showing your back.

[The youngest listens] It looks good.

- You've been in this industry for over 4 years. - It looks good.

[The eldest member takes care of the crew] This is how you should eat kimchi.

[Curious] - You don't look good. - Why? Is it too salty?

[Jin is copying the facial expression] After tasting it...

I think it's a little too salty.

[Helping Jimin] This should speed things up.

What are you doing? You should spread it. Not like this.

[Spreading perilla leaves] This is why I didn't do it this way.

It was a hard day today.

He put just three leaves and said, "It was a hard day".

[V is feeding the teacher]

[J-Hope is still looking for his heart radish] My heart radishes are gone.

That's crushed already.

[Here it is] It's here!

I'm done.

[Jimin's perilla leaf kimchi]

[Jimin shares tips on how to eat it] Wrap it around rice and have a mouthful.

[Proud] [Looks good, right?]

It's getting more water, feeling like it's mixing well. Nice.

[Working hard] It's so rewarding.

[Confused] How do I open this?

- What is this thing? - I can't open it.

[Complaint 1] Why is this stuck?

[Complaint 2] Why did you glue this glove?

[Turns out there's something wrong with those gloves]

[Crazy skill] - Jungkook, you're almost like... - A machine.

[Jungkook's amazing kimchi-making skills]

[Question] Teacher, why is this glove stuck together?

[Frustrated] I'm stuck here!

[I can't open this glove] I'm doing this all by myself!

[It's not fair] [You picked your own team] Why are they on my team?

[So tired] It's done.

[Blank] That should do it.

- OK. Let's rinse with cold water. - Should I put it?

No, we should make more.

[Jungkook stepped on the sticky rice porridge] - Your feet! - Jungkook stepped on it.

He stepped on the teacher's pancake.

- Show your acting, V. - Yeah, do it, Taehyung.

- What should I do? - You broke up and you're tearing up.

You're tearing up not because you're sad about the breakup.

- You're tearing up because kimchi is spicy. - There you go.

[Amazing cook] [Kim Seokjin, playing daddy]

[Attractive dimples] [Kim Namjoon, playing the oldest son]

[Impossible not to love this guy] [Kim Taehyung, playing the youngest son]

[Action!] 1, 2, 3, Cue!

[- Run BTS mini series - Cabbage kimchi family RM & Jin & V TAKE 1]

- My son, isn't this kimchi good? - It's good.

[Flustered] My little son...

[My eyes are burning] [Sobbing]

- Why are you sniffing, son? [Weeping]

[It's hilarious]

[Crying] Be careful.

[Not sure what it was, but - THE END -] You did great.

Kimchi is really spicy.

[Cubed radish kimchi] It's dead. It's wilted.

[Making a fuss to act improv] - Are you sure it's dead? - Is it not breathing?

- It's not breathing? - It's dead. - Did the heart stop?

[The bigger radish is still stiff]

The smaller ones are soft. It's no good when it's too hard.

[Sit back and order what to do] You should work on it, Jungkook.

[The second oldest is having fun teasing the youngest. So fun!]

The sons are making kimchi.

[Seems like the parents and sons] We're mom and dad.

[Working hard]

Looks like it's still stiff. It's taking long.

It can't fit in this.

- I told you already! It can't fit. - Seriously.

- Then what do I do now? - Press it down.

[Pressing]

No, I can't press the air out of it.

[Press hard] Jin!

You're supposed to do this.

[Good job] I yelled because you're doing great.

[V complimented Jin by yelling] He yelled because he's doing great.

Jungkook, let's take some out.

[Come on, Suga] Suga is giving a hand. Don't show your back!

[Defending himself] There's a camera from this angle.

You're completely blocking Jungkook's arms.

[Right] Yeah, his arms are the key here.

[Suga gives in]

[Jungkook's arms are the key here] [Yeah] I'm nothing.

[Eat Jin teaches how to sprinkle sesame seeds] You should sprinkle like this.

[I want to do that] - Why? - You don't want to pour it in.

[V grabbed it with his glove on] You weren't supposed to grab it.

[Ah... the sauce is all over it] You weren't supposed to grab the whole thing.

[I got it] You're the second RM.

How long is it going to take to make fresh kimchi?

- It's taking forever. - How do we decorate now?

[Jin looks at RM's plating] [Show us... Let's laugh together]

Our concept is to put everything on this plate.

- Okay? - Yes.

[Teasing] You're the one to blame.

[The plate looks too small] - There's an empty plate. - It's OK. Let's do this.

My back hurts!

[The radish team is draining water] Stay still. Let's drain water.

[They look cute to Suga]

[Kimchi tower] Let's throw a party.

[V's plating is done] My decoration is finished.

[Here? There?] Which camera is filming me?

[Showing the camera with a cute smile]

Mix it! Mix it! Jungkook! Mix!

[Jungkook's arms are in operation!] He's like a machine.

[Looking sweetly at Jungkook]

[Jungkook's arms are like a machine] It's almost like a robot.

[RM is struggling to close the lid] It's strange. Why isn't it closed?

[Nervous] It's just you're not doing it right.

[Punch] Don't punch!

[Jin is nervous] I got this.

- I got it. - Really?

If you're not working, slice the boiled pork please.

[Juicy tender pork belly] Boiled pork!

[Wishful thinking] Please slice it into bite-size.

Do you know why it's yellow? Because we added turmeric powder.

[Yellow meat due to turmeric powder] To get the meat smell.

[Question] Why didn't you use all this?

[Making an excuse] - You should use them all. - I followed the recipe.

Just do it. We did all that.

[V found jackstones] Why are jackstones here?

[Dropping jackstones]

Hang on. The perilla leaf team is trying to get rid of the evidence.

[Jimin, there's too much left] Seriously!

Jimin came over to me and said,

"What do I do with all this"?

[What just happened] There's a lot leftover here.

Don't you think you have to use all that?

[Acting] Huh? Where's the paste?

[Acting like he's sad] The paste is gone.

I can't serve this to our members!

If the teacher approves that your kimchi is good,

- If she approves? - Then we'll clean it up.

Teacher, please come over here.

[J-Hope and Jungkook work really hard] Our kimchi should be really good.

[Working hard] Hard work never goes in vain. Cooking is all about hard work.

[Nervous] [How does perilla leaf kimchi taste?]

[She approves] Please give the thumbs up.

[Smile with his eyes] I'll clean up really well.

[How does Suga's burdock kimchi taste?] It's good.

[Confident] I made 1kg, following the recipe.

[Jungkook tastes the cubed radish kimchi he made]

[Excited] How do you like it?

[His mouth moves like a robot] It's too fresh, of course.

You should let it sit to ferment.

I really like the paste.

[Looking at the teacher] - It should be good if it's fermented. - I believe so.

[Hope's heart radish] Heart! There's heart radish.

Let's put it in the container now.

[Radish kimchi team rocks] Great job, you two.

[The cubed radish kimchi looks beautiful] - Look at the color. - It's perfect.

[We should take a picture!] I should take a picture.

I'm really satisfied.

Shouldn't it be stored in the kimchi refrigerator?

[Kimchi and boiled pork]

[Juicy pork belly and radish kimchi]

[Three Kim Brothers' cabbage kimchi]

[Perilla leaf kimchi with craftmanship]

[Uncommon but delicious burdock kimchi]

[BTS finished their kimchi]

We did it!

[Proud] We put our blood, sweat, and tears into it.

- I realized how hard it is to make kimchi. - I agree.

My mother has never bought kimchi so far.

[Kimchi fairy] I thought I should buy some for her.

I've made kimchi with my mom for like 5 years when I was a boy.

It was different from back then.

[Speechless] Back then...

[It's awesome] Cubed radish kimchi turned out awesome.

[Lots of compliments] Jungkook mixed it really well.

It looks like kimchi in a beef-bone soup restaurant.

[Proud] Let it sit for a week.

[All the kimchi dishes look great] - Fresh kimchi is good. - It's really great.

Boiled pork is also good.

Hang on, guys!

[RM & Jin & V's fresh kimchi] This one.

[2 full containers of cabbage kimchi] And this one is made by one team.

- These are made by one team. - No.

[J-Hope & Jungkook, 2 containers of radish kimchi and boiled pork] We made boiled pork.

[Suga & Jimin, relatively small amount of kimchi] And these are made by one team.

- You should taste it. You'll love it. - It's a little small.

[Suga and Jimin explains] It's supposed to be that small.

[Hmm... I see...]

It's not for the competition but since you guys made it,

why don't we find out the best kimchi?

[The teacher will evaluate the kimchi] - Sure. - The teacher will decide. - Teacher!

She watched the process.

- If she eats all this. - She needs a lot of water.

[Suga and Jin is worried] I think you'll need to drink a lot of water.

Let's step back for her.

[J-Hope is appealing to the teacher] We made boiled pork, teacher.

[The teacher tastes fresh kimchi by RM & Jin & V] Starting with fresh kimchi.

Fresh kimchi is good.

[Nod]

I think she likes it.

[Moving on to radish kimchi!] - Radish kimchi. - Try smaller pieces.

[Obsessed with heart pieces] Is there a heart radish?

[Thinking hard

She's not nodding.

[Killer smile] [It should be good once it's fermented]

- Radish kimchi should be fermented. - We should let it sit.

It was my first time to make and taste burdock kimchi.

[Worried] I'm not sure if that tastes right.

[All eyes are on her]

It's good.

[Next is perilla leaf kimchi!] Time to taste perilla leaf kimchi.

[Shrug] Who made it?

- You did a great job. - Oh.

[Strong reaction] [Thank you] - Oh, that's... - She's so kind-hearted.

Which is the best kimchi?

You guys did a great job as global stars.

[Awesome] Your speech is so classy.

You put so much efforts into it, so it's hard to pick one.

[Selection criteria] But the kimchi that you worked hard on the most.

[Nervous]

[She chose] [It's us! How exciting!] Cubed radish kimchi!

I chose it based on your efforts.

[Jin is tasting radish kimchi]

[Cracking up]

[Curious] What does that mean? I need an interpreter.

[Eat Jin's review] It tastes like radish dipped in the kimchi paste.

Let me taste radish kimchi.

[The leader's advice] Don't open your mouth too big.

Let's give it up for the teacher.

[Thank you, teacher] Thank you.

[Thank you]

[Getting aggressive] Let's eat up. We made it.

[It's good] To be honest, I've been tasting it.

Boiled pork is cooked beautifully.

[Mouthful] It's good.

[Nom nom]

Jin made this fresh kimchi almost all my yourself, right?

[Shaking his head] [Jin... You look like an alpaca]

[Mumbling] No, we did our best too.

[Mumbling] [I worked hard too!]

[The members taste burdock kimchi for the first time] - I like burdock kimchi. - I wanted to try.

It all tastes like kimchi made by professionals.

Let's do some special episode of Run BTS at a beef-bone soup restaurant. With radish kimchi.

No, I object to the beef-bone restaurant idea.

- No. - Why? - Then we should make beef-bone soup.

[Serious] [You know how things go] They can make us catch a pig.

Too bad we can't taste the radish kimchi now.

If you're international fans,

you might think, "Kimchi requires so much work".

[Proud of it] - It's Korea's signature dish. - Right.

[Moving to the side] It takes some time for a man to be mature.

The same goes for kimchi.

[Leader RM's amazing speech] - Nice. - We made kimchi with efforts.

I hope you can taste it with your eyes.

Run BTS continues. Bye!

Bye!

- Run BTS, kimchi-making episode. - We should make a dish with this.

[Please look forward to the dishes with kimchi they made today]

Dior Makeup Spring Look 2018 'Glow Addict' – Peter Philips' interview - Duration: 0:51.

This season the Dior woman is a radiant, glowing girl

that loves being a girl, loves being a woman.

The concept of glow is a Dior concept.

It's about radiance. It's about looking healthy.

It's about shining like a star.

I believe there are as many shades of pink as there are emotions.

We really wanted to underline that by creating a collection

that goes from really extreme shocking pink all the way over

to pastels underlined with a touch of black.

I put a big focus on lip glow.

Lip glow is really anchored in the DNA of Dior

and I really wanted to play with all the different variations

you can do in shades and glow.

Beautiful shades of palettes and everything

that really enhances radiance.

Like turning that inner light on and making sure everybody sees you.

NEW Scamp Tour - WE MINIMIZED - Duration: 7:21.

What's up! We are in Arizona!

In our last video we were in Kansas City taking a ton of stuff out of the Scamp

and in the comments a lot of you wanted to see what what the Scamp now looks like!

So I'm gonna take you on a tour!

Oh, hello!

Welcome to the master bedroom!

We're still sort of using the same blanket system

we just have a couple layers, nothing fancy at all.

We've cleared out a bunch of our extra stuff

so under here we still have camping supplies.

Should I pop that up and show em?

Some spare boots, all of our camping gear in the back packs,

snow pants, climbing gear and our tent is all under there.

This is the best size and Nalgene because you can fit it in pockets.

I don't know if they still make it in this spout and stuff anymore but it's awesome.

Also ROKC.

Hashtag.

This bin has our electric heater that we got from Walmart,

a laser, you know, just in case,

ropes and extra climbing gear stuff.

This is all of Elsa's snowboarding stuff and her spacesuit in case it gets cold.

Under here is most of my clothes, I have a little bit more in a bag back there.

That stuff is more cold-weather gear.

When I store my clothes I like to just roll them

so that they can fit nicely and then I can fit a lot of things and that way it's easy to grab them out.

Elsa's clothes. Same sort of deal.

We've found that compartmentalizing things really makes it a lot easier to find them

whenever you're looking.

So, here's the closet. When I'm layering clothes, I try to put the thing that I plan on

wearing last in first so that I can peel off shirts that I wear most often

and then I can put them in the dirty clothes.

I have three or four hangers full of clothes and Elsa has two

So she's winning

(elsa chuckling)

but factor in the giant tub, okay?

And in here we have camera stuff, again modularization is key, so

all of our chargers and stuff are in here.

This is sort of my side of this bench.

Elsa and I throw our stuff here throughout the day.

Fly rod that I hope to convert into a Tenkara rod.

some socks, my backpack, an ax, a hatchet

a shirt and a Crocodile Dundee hat.

Up here is where we generally keep all of our hats. We've rained down

our hat collection recently.

We just got this fan. It is powered by a USB so we

can use it with little mobile battery packs, so that'll be a lot nicer than

having a fan with rechargeable batteries that you have to take in and out.

Under here we still have the same storage but it's virtually empty now since we've

gotten rid of so much stuff.

These are our reflectix window covers. They're super awesome.

Elsa made them. We just cut up reflectix to fit

and then painted them. We also taped magnets on the back

so that they just snap onto the windows.

This is Elsa's side, so we got the uke and her backpack

and then this book is awesome.

She's just been healing the both of us for

coming up on a year now.

This book is actually what kind of got us interested in foraging

because she was flipping through and finding flowers and stuff.

Here's some foraging books.

These are the only books that we've opted to keep

because when you are foraging or out identifying things in the wild,

it's worthwhile to have a physical copy.

Here are our shoes and the Tank Drum.

Currently, Elsa is winning the shoe efficiency battle.

Here we have our tools compartment.

I got rid of a lot of the tools that I did bring, opting to not have any electric tools really.

This little kit from Ikea is awesome. It has lots of the things that you need and

it is pretty well contained.

So, here we have the kitchen.

The reason that everything is sort of out of place is because we just put this shelf in

and we want to figure out what things we're gonna have on the shelves

and where exactly they're going to go so that we can make

little drawers to slide them in and out. But right now we don't really have any

idea what that's gonna look like so for now we're just using these different

baskets to hold things.

Here we have dog bowls, some nuts, our water, all of our canned goods and non-perishables.

Crackers and chips and things of that nature.

Our cooler for the time beingwhile we figure out what we're gonna do about that.

Some baby wipes because those are definite necessity

and veggies and trash can.

We have our fancy new backsplash from Oak and Mortar, thank you Steven Travis Huckaby!

We have some magnets that Elsa put up here for teas

and herbs and stuff and then we have cut down our utensils so that we just have a

pair of scissors, a few knives and then two spoons, two forks, and a set of chopsticks.

Then, we've been keeping the battery up here because we use him so

often and that way we can actually run the solar panel outside, position it in

the sun so that we can be charging things and getting some battery back.

We're still using the Biolites, both the Base Lantern and these little nodules,

I forget what they're called, but they're awesome.

Up here, everything is still about the same. We've just gotten rid of a lot of things that we didn't need.

Another thing that we noticed is if you can find cups that stack together nicely

it'll save you some space. We got some new metal plates. They're a little bit more hygienic than our last.

Spices, coffees and teas. We have a video on all this if you guys want to check it out.

Should we show them the outside?

Sure, oh, this is kind of a cool thing. Treats for Kamp because we're trying to

teach him to come and run back to us after he runs away.

Not working super well, but..

This is our outdoor living room.

We have a crash pad for bouldering that works as a couch.

We have our propane tank, water, some extra reflectix and stuff

and then all of our cooking equipment. We've changed this quite a bit

but we have a video on how we were doing it when we were in Colorado.

Our outdoor table, he's awesome. You can

adjust these legs so it can go all the way up to a bar stool height or I can go all

the way down to sitting on the ground and eating height.

Solar panel. Still the same 30. We're thinking about getting a little bit more power so we might get

a 100 or something just so that we can stay off the grid and not go into town so often.

New old car that has been awesome so far. so this is our third

Anything else?

Come over here

So, this is our third Scamp tour video. The first one was at one month in Kansas City,

the second one was in the mountains at six months and now we're just past 12 months out here

in the desert, so all of them are relevant and cool. A little bit different perspective in each.

If you liked this video where Barron does all the talking,

let me know and we'll do more of those.

And if not, sorry about it.

Thanks for watching and we'll see you in the next video! Bye!
