Trumps Jerusalem Decision Literally Has Two Terrorist Groups Killing Each Other
President Donald Trump shook up the world with his recent announcement recognizing Jerusalem
as the capital of Israel, and in the process exposed a significant portion of the United
Nations as being both anti-Israel and anti-American.
But a rather unexpected and unintended consequence has also emerged in the wake of Trumps
recognition of Jerusalem as Israels capital two major terrorist groups are now at
war with each other.
According to Fox News, the Islamic State group affiliate in Egypts Sinai Peninsula has
officially declared a state of war between themselves and Hamas, the terrorist organization
that controls the Gaza Strip between Egypt and Israel.
The announcement came in a 22-minute long video in which an Islamic State group member
accused of collaborating with Hamas was beheaded.
The jihadist executioner declared of Hamas, Never surrender to them.
Use explosives, silenced pistols, and sticky bombs.
Bomb their courts and their security locations, for these are the pillars of tyranny that
prop up its throne.
A major part of the violent quarrel between the two terrorist groups is the notion held
by the Islamic State group that Hamas somehow failed to prevent Trump from recognizing Jerusalem
as Israels capital, as if that was even within their power.
Of course, they have also taken issue with a Hamas crackdown on Islamic State group militants
fomenting trouble in Gaza, as Hamas has been attempting to stay relatively quiet recently
in a bid to improve relations with Egypt and the Palestinian Authority and to a lesser
extent, Israel.
The Washington Post reported that this confrontation between the two jihadist groups has been building
for more than a year as the two groups have taken separate tracks in dealing with their
neighbors.
As stated, Hamas has slightly moderated their tone and actions in order to avoid a direct
confrontation with Israel as they patch things up with Egypt and the Palestinians in the
West Bank.
Meanwhile, the Islamic State group in Sinai has done anything but moderate themselves,
as they have indiscriminately attacked virtually everyone who stands in their way, even killing
more than 300 fellow Muslims in a recent attack on an Egyptian mosque.
To be sure, the Islamic State group offshoot in Sinai doesnt exactly have the manpower
or weaponry to launch any sort of major assault on Hamas in Gaza, but they have more than
enough jihadists in their ranks to infiltrate Gaza and cause trouble from within.
The biggest fear for Hamas right now is that Islamic State group militants will begin covertly
launching rockets or other terrorist attacks into Israel from Gaza with a full understanding
that Israel will blame Hamas for any death and destruction those attacks may bring.
Such action would undoubtedly also bring down Israeli retaliation upon Hamas, which is the
last thing they want or need at this crucial moment for them in their bid to not just remain
relevant and in charge, but to actually survive as an organization.
President Trump most likely had no idea that his Jerusalem announcement would spark an
internecine war between two murderous terrorist groups who have sworn to destroy both America
and Israel, but he has to be laughing now at the fortuitous outcome his announcement
has brought.
Please share this story on Facebook and Twitter to let everyone know that President Trumps
recognition of Jerusalems capital status has sparked a war between Hamas and the Islamic
State group in the Sinai.
