I don't know how many women out there felt the same as I did,
but I used to harbor these kinds of thoughts many times, I sometimes do now as well,
that I wish I was born a guy,
because their life seemed easier than women's, at least easier than my life as a woman,
and they seemed to be treated in a kinder way and were acknowledged and appreciated even with very small effort.
But whenever I told this to my guy friends, very few of them understood.
And the most common type of response I got was,
"Life is easier for a guy? Hell no.
Look at all the drinks girls get, guys have to approach women first,
girls only like rich guys, a guy will do everything for a girl,
you have so many more advantages compared to us."
And by these responses,
you can see that the common denominator of every "benefit" they list is
regarding the treatment we (might or might not) get as an opposite sex,
the benefits that they think count when it comes to interaction in sexual terms.
And this is the very proof that so many men have restricted and biased views on women,
and that their main concern about women is how women interact with men as an opposite sex,
more than as a part of the same human race.
Even in my previous video where I share my experience as a KTV girl,
one of the comments I got was,
and this type of comments are what I've seen on many, many other places not just on my video,
and heard people verbally say,
that it's a privilege for women to be able to entice men.
And I guess this is the main reason why beauty is such a highly sought-after quality among women.
Self-gratification would be the number 1 reason, of course,
but it's also because a part of us think women are super privileged when she is attractive and gets sexual attention from men.
That way she will effortlessly find a man that loves her,
effortlessly gets a job that requires physical charm, things like that.
We find it so hard to detach women from men and physical form, and fail to see her as she is.
But what nobody tells us is, the best privilege a woman can be given, and for a man too for that matter,
is not to be seen but to be HEARD,
and be understood, and be appreciated and accepted as she is.
That is a far greater privilege that surpass anything, even the most stunning physical beauty in the world.
But to be honest, from what I've experienced and have witnessed happening,
our society in general doesn't often give women such privilege nor do they encourage women to think like this.
And I agree with these two quotes.
That is why it is such a blessing and a beautiful experience to be a woman as herself.
But, the crowd, in other words, our capitalistic society
often prevents us from doing that.
People advertise countless products that make our body and face look prettier,
on mainstream media we portray beautiful women with perfect face and shapes as a good woman
and if not, you are just a supporting actress or of secondary importance.
We often judge women based on looks,
like how pretty or not pretty she is, which girl is prettier, she's not as pretty as she used to be etc,
and in such atmosphere it is easy for women to think that physical appearance is the most important quality,
If a girl is more beautiful than I am, then she is more privileged than I am, and so on.
However, at the same time, we criticize women who take too much care of her looks,
we criticize women who use or are proud of their female attractiveness,
and even ridicule her for being privileged.
And even more ironic is that we also blame women who are not as "privileged"
that it's your fault you are like that, get a plastic surgery or care more about your looks if you want to be more privileged as a girl etc.
And in such double, triple standard,
it's so easy for women to get lost and confused on what's the right thing to do
and what's the best for me.
And the truth is, the society doesn't even know that either.
The majority of people don't know what it means to be oneself
and have one's own voice and standard amongst the society's double and inconsistent criteria.
There is a quote by Pauline Frederic
And I think there is some truth in this quote.
It is true women are generally taken less seriously compared to men,
because for people, for both man and woman,
it's hard to look past a woman's physical trait and also the pure fact that she's a woman,
and we have this sort of fixed image and fixed sexuality on how women should be like and act like in general,
and so people unconsciously form certain judgment or prejudice only based on that (such as people with bitch face must be a bitch etc),
and to be honest we women know that deep inside and we are kind of unconsciously used to it,
and due to that, it takes more courage for us to let ourselves be heard by people,
and it takes a lot more effort and bravery to challenge and try to go beyond that social prejudice.
That's why I admire women like Sara Blakely, Oprah Winfrey, Yeonmi Park
who broke out of their typical female shell and chose to think for herself and do things with her own initiative,
whether that be building her own business, inspiring millions of other women through her own show, and speaking up for human rights issues.
During my stay in China, I was many times alone,
alone as in like I did things by myself not that I didn't meet a lot of people,
and I am usually okay doing things alone.
I actually once prided myself of being an independent woman and knowing how to spend time alone.
But, this time it was sort of different.
I felt more lonely, afraid, and scared.
I was all alone in a foreign country where I cannot express myself fully
because I was mostly surrounded by people who speak very little English and I don't speak Mandarin that fluently,
and so, most people just judged me based on the fact that I am a woman or how I look as a woman.
People couldn't seem to be able to or didn't even try to look beyond my gender.
Before I did things, like anything, I was always a woman, even before I was a human.
Examples to list would be too many, but to give you just one,
many people found it quite weird or unbelievable that I came here alone and that there must be other ulterior motives,
and later on I just got so tired of it that I just lied and said "I have a boyfriend here,"
and that made total sense to them and that instantly closed the conversation.
I think if we are very honest, it's easy for people to think,
especially in Asian countries where many people still have traditional and conservative values when it comes to men and women's relationship,
that the ingredient for a woman's happy and safe life is a decent face and a man.
And I understand this, and I admit I once thought like this too,
although I would have denied it when people asked me.
And it is true that at least temporarily, things can go a lot easier and smoother when you do things with a man or with a man's help.
People are less likely to harass you,
and for some reason people treat you more kindly and with more respect, things like that.
But I think we need to break away from this notion that a woman's happiness comes from man or good looks,
simply because it's not true,
and it only moves women and men further away from true happiness and fulfilling their true potential.
Because the key to a happy life and a happy relationship is first of all, self-acceptance and self-reliance.
They say loving yourself for who you are is more important than hundreds of others liking you for what you are not,
and this cannot be truer,
but so many people haven't internalized this truth in themselves and have hard time knowing and accepting him or herself,
especially women on whom the superficial qualities are more forced and more prejudice prevail against.
And I hope men don't take offense at this video
because I'm not saying only women have problems, male struggles are real too,
and I know that female can be the cause of male suffering too,
and regardless of gender, as a human, we all share the same fate, we all go through hard times and problems.
And, many women also see men as just people of opposite sex many times and men too are judged based on looks.
After all, most of us have sight and physical form so it is natural to be visual,
and it is also natural to be attracted to people of opposite sex that we find attractive,
and emotion of sex is a strong emotion for both men and women,
so I understand why this whole culture of hook-up, opposite sex being fantasized, quest and competition for finding the best spouse and so on are created.
But we all know that sexual desire, as strong as it is, is not always so rational and long-lasting,
especially when it's only based on surface-level things,
and often makes us do stupid things we'll regret later and even immoral things that do harm to each other.
And what I hope is that more people would be self-aware about this and give second-thought when you catch yourself
forming certain judgment, thought or prejudice against people purely based on their gender and looks,
and not let the "sexual identity" as a man or as a woman, reinforced by the society, block you from
seeing the circumstances, things, and other humans as they are.
I hope we are all in this together, as a man or a woman, and stop sexualizing or forming prejudice against a certain gender,
but see everyone as a human being before they are even a man and a woman.
Yes, I agree that two genders are different, we have different physicality, psychology, hormones, and so on,
but when men and women come together as a human race,
I believe that's when the masculine and feminine energy are ideally combined and harmonized,
and thereby form a better society, better relationship, and a better person.
I made this video also to encourage women who have been mistreated or been falsely accused of something or been prejudiced against as a woman,
and tell them, they are not alone, we've all gone through this,
but as women we can all cope with this by first breaking out of the "female shell" the society caged us into,
and be a unique woman as you are, and encourage other women to do so as well.
It's not about being better than men, being better than other women, but being ourselves,
and being able to think for ourselves and taking the courage to let our unique thoughts and experiences be heard by others.
Regardless of gender, regardless of race, regardless of nationality,
I believe in every human story, in every human suffering, in every human problem,
there lies a seed of empathy, hope and love that can be shared with other humans and console and uplift one another,
and I believe that's the cornerstone of making a better society, making a better world where individuals care about each other's well-being.
I know making this video will not change the world,
nor do I expect people to go like "Oh, yeah Vicky's so right, we should change it right now."
I know this kind of video usually don't get many views, many people are simply not interested,
and it's likely to go less noticed compared to other contents with provocative topics,
but mother Teresa said,
and I am willing and glad to be able to add even just a small drop of water to our ocean of humanity.
After all, change begins with small things and it begins with the minority.
And individually, in my personal life, that small drop of water is not so small,
because it gives me joy, writing about it and making video about it makes me happy
even in the midst of uncertainty and fear that I face all alone in a foreign country,
so I'm not only doing it for the world or the future generation, but fundamentally I am doing this for myself too.
They say what goes around comes around.
The more love and care you put out there to the world or to other people, I believe it ultimately comes back to you.
So, I hope you don't consider it trivial or who cares, I'm too lazy to care about anything other than my own life,
but hope you could think that we are all in this together to make this world a better place,
so that both my son and daughter's life will be better, my future spouse's life will be better,

And i'm glad to welcome you on my channel
And today our guest is mechanical mod Alien by Black Sea Mods. And this mod is made in Los Muertos style
Yes, there is a holiday in Mexico, it's called Day of the Dead
And it's like 3rd Alien mechanical mod that got into my hands
I don't know. I guess it's the most popular name for a mechanical mod
Thus i want to recommend to guys from Black Sea Mods to think up another name, because there is too many Aliens out there
And at some point you are getting confused - Alien, another Alien, is that Alien from those guys or from other? And that's the problem
I hope your next mechs will come out under different name
Let's move forward. This is a mechanical tube mod and it's made of brass, but guys also make their mechs of aluminum as well
The main feature of this brass mechanical mod is circular engraving
It's great, it's stylish and we're going to look at it right now in my close up
So let's dive down
Okay, friends. As it says - you are getting used to the good things. And i guess we are getting used to the fact, that mechanical mods is coming in stylish cases like this one
But this case is also ennobled by a tag-plate which is says that it is Black Sea Mods, Alien Mod and Los Muertos
Wonderful. And that is how we are welcomed by this kit contents
In here we have a User Manual, but the most interesting thing that some sections of it refers to aluminum version, while we have a brass
Also in a kit we have a spare spring and two pre-made alien coils from the friends of Black Sea Mods
Also we have another spare contact with shorter pin
And of course we have Alien Mod by Black Sea Mods itself, which is in this blue bag
As it says - TA-DAAM
And now let's talk of its technical specs
This mod is made of gun shell brass or of aviation aluminum, also aluminium versions that is painted in black and in white are available, as well as black & white color
This mod fits the atomizers with diameter up to 24mm, it have 510 hybrid connection, auto-adjustment feature, blank fire button press protection and vent holes
It is powered by 1*18650 and have constant contact that is made of brass and it's silver-plated
By the way, only the 510 thread is involved in contact and it's great
One of the main features of this mod is deep circular engraving, right now in my hands is a Los Muertos style mod
Also guys recently released a mod with Xenomorph engraving
That was the specs, so let's move further and give a detailed look to this mod
As always we start from top and in order where we have a 510 hybrid connector with engraving Alien and serial number
As manufacturer claims, in next versions there will be a recess for atomizers
At this moment this mod is fit atomizers with diameter up to 24mm. And 24mm attys sit perfectly
Moving forward we get to the tube which is have its feature
This mod have a Los Muertos engraving and it's looks stylish and overall great
Yes, there is a place on the opposite side where this engraving sort of ends, but again - this doesn't affect an appearance of this mechanical mod
Overall i really like this engraving a lot, guys made a great job
I think you noticed that there is 2 big vent holes below, but one of my nitpicks that engraving is not centered for them
It's look like vent holes is shifted and it is a hell of a perfectionist for me
But again, one of the good things that engraving is done from top to bottom
On the bottom we have a cap that holds the button inside
Pay attention - right now button is completely screwed and it's match with engraving. That is great
Moving forward, this cap is unscrews counter clockwise and i can tell you - threads is phenomenal. Buttery smooth
This cap is screws and unscrews almost by itself
The cap look like so, and it holds the button
And again - even here guys putted an effort to a design
The slot for a battery look like so. As you can see it have a bevel to make a contact, and inside we see a cutout which protects from blank button pressing when you don't have an atomizer attached
Also there's a little patina
And now it's time to talk about the button itself. It looks like so, and as i said it's made out of brass and it is silver-plated
The bottom of the button have no silver-plating but have a Xenomorph engraving
This button is having a constant contact and auto-adjusting to your battery height and atomizer pin length
Disassembly of this button is banally simple - pull out the upper contact and inside you will see several insulators and a spring itself
According to those little arcs on the upper and lower parts you can tell where contact is happening
You will need to clean these two parts with help of eraser
Let's try to do it together. It goes like one...

Okay, great, this button is ready to work
In case you need to swap the spring just pop it out and insert the other one
I can say, friends, the idea of this button was on surface. It's made great and correctly, but the most important convenient and simple
In this terms guys did a great job - they think up, have made it on their own way and it works
Okay folks, that is how the mechanical mod looked, now it's only left to install the battery inside
Since vent holes is below - we will install the battery positive side down
As you can see after we installed the battery with attached atomizer - it's sit tight inside due to a vacuum, which is good and it means that inside we have a precise fit
But this battery have a custom wrap and it fit perfectly with no rattle etc and it's the most important
After this insert the button and screw down the cap
Battery is not rattling, button is firing, vapor is happening
After these verses we can go back to face-time

Well folks. I'm basically showed you everything in close up but now it's time to talk of pros, cons and nitpick of this device as well as of some important moments
I'll tell you this - i didn't find any MAJOR cons which would affect the functionality of the mechanical mod in this mechanical mod
But there is several nitpicks which we are going to talk about right now
First nitpick is for lack of cutout for atomizer on the top of this device
But guys have sent me an e-mail saying that this cutout will be in next versions, so it's not a con - it's a nitpick
Next nitpick. We all know very well, it is a standard issue, that all the brass(and copper) mods will get patinated and you will have to take care of it and polish it
It's a standard issue and it's a nitpick. And it's a thing that everyone should know about
Another thing that everyone should know about is that in all mechanical mods arcs are happening somewhere
I showed you in close up where arcs is happening in this mech mod. You should take care of it as well and as you saw it's pretty fast
And last nitpick, from me personally, as from person who is a hell of a perfectionist, as from a person who like symmetry and centered things - in this mod the engraving is not centered relative to vent holes
For people like me this moment is a little pissing us off, but it doesn't affect the functionality at all. Well, actually it even helps since it's a vent holes
Overall, takoe sebe(untranslatable, so-so - near to correct)
Let's continue, one more important thing that we are going to talk about right now
Very important moment, friends. Before purchasing of such mechanical mods with deep and circular engraving
You must fully understand that this mechanical mod is quite rough, so when you hold it - you feel every curve of that engraving
And if you don't like these feelings - you should think twice before buying one of these mods
But on the other hand this engraving makes this mod design incredibly stylish
And right now we are going to talk about pros
First pro i'll give to this mechanical mod for stylish appearance. Yes, from the first look it's an ordinary brass tube
But thanks to this engraving this mod is just gorgeous - you want to look at it and you want to use it
So it's a pro for stylish appearance
Next pro i'll give for production quality. You saw them threads - it's buttery smooth and it's screws down by itself. It's great
Next pro i'll give for simple, logical, convenient and overall great contact group which is made of brass and silver-plated
A pro for constant contact and a pro for single thread that's in the contact, and it's the thread of 510 connector
And last pro i'll give for performance, friends. This mech is performs like a beast
I can see by myself how it fries these coils until they dry out
Performs great and solid pro for that
That's all friends, let's summarize
Of course the last thing we are going to talk about is price
So, the price for aluminum version which is white, or black, or black and white is 4500 rubles(80$ at this moment)
The price for clear brass, for clear brass tube with no engraving is 5000 rubles(88$ at this moment)
And the price of brass mechanical mod with engraving and a kit which include the coils is 8500 rubles(151$ at this moment
On the other hand, that Rogue with such engraving costed way more
So the price is okay. Anyway the decision is yours - will you buy it with or without engraving, aluminum or colored - you decide by your own, what to spend your money on

Whis is a constant neutral character in the Dragon Ball Super anime.
He is always polite and smiles at anyone regardless of the person's status.
