of products for scrapbooking

manufacturing and marketing

scrapbooking and craft products

for another type of crafts also

And I am very happy to start being part of their Design Team

very proud too, it's a big responsibility,

so thank you Fabrika Decoru for trusting me

And now, I am going to show you the content of this box

little by little

but not before greeting you, saying to you my typical: "Hi, I'm Myriam"

that with the emotion of the arrival of the box, I had not done it

The first thing I'm going to show you are these little

bottles of pigmet powder

that are specially designed to be able to dilute them with water

or mix them with other types of materials like

gesso, gel...

for example. Well, we'll see that later

in a more in depth demonstration of the product

I have here a sample of 9 colors, that from left to right

are those that appear on the screen

but I Know that Fabrika Decoru has a much wider

range of colors,

of these pigment powders

Within this group of paints, of pigment powders

there is a variety that is this

a pearly effect when applied, or a metallic effect.

Each little container has a capacity of 15 ml.

but the applicator is different

They are small bottles, quite manageable.

I have this sample of 5 colors

Adhesives. I have these double-sided adhesive tapes

it's a very delicate thickness, I like it

The first one width is 19 mm

this one is 12 mm width

and this other one is 9 mm width

This one is a liquid glue

the bottle has a capacity of 100 ml

this other one that its wich I normally use, and that

many of you know too

but this one has a capacity of 48 ml

that is, less from the half than Fabrika Decoru's

I have not tried Fabrika Decoru's glue yet

I will try it later, and I will tell you my impressions

This other little bottle, which puts here 'glossy'

and

has a capacity of 40 ml

the word 'glossy' makes me associate it with this

other product, wicht is the most of us know

but I don't know if both do exactly the same

as well, I will try it

I'm going to apply a drop of this

product on any paper

and it is white

totally opaque white

I'm going to remove bubbles that drop has here above

and to accelerate drying process

I will apply heat . What I notice

when drying with the heat pistol, the glue drop

decreased its size. It has not dryed completely yet

but it has not become transparent either

I will ask Fabrika Decoru what are the instructions

for the correct use of this product

Another thing that I have been sent and I really want to try

is this cutting mat for the cutting plotter

I have asked for the size for the Portrait

it is 8 inches by 12 inches

which is indicated here above, 8 x 12 inches

Well, my intention is to make a comparison between

Silhouette's cutting mat and this one of Fabrika Decoru

The difference that I notice a priori

is the thickness of the material

it is much stiffer and a little more compact

This product has to do with the cutting mats

because it is a liquid to recover cutting mats

I do not know exactly how it works

but I'm very curious to try it, so in the video

I'll do comparing the cutting mats

of Silhouette and Fabrika Decoru,

one and the other as to put all the decoration

doing a beautiful job of it looks like that he's got a jetski engine in there

welding really is easy and boy if you get nothing else from this weekend I

hope that's what you get away from it we've got all kinds of ways of welding

aluminum MIG not TIG and tag is actually complicated that takes a little bit of

eye hand coordination but this mag I'm going to show you it's just point and

box here we turn this big cable on and off also takes an AC plug now we just

flexes a little bit so we can put a little gusset in here

and straighten that out you want a little bit more reinforcement on that

anyway you see a big one up here from the front yeah where it goes up and then

back down but a lot of this we can straighten out my handrails and some

gussets and this is even the iffy part of the boat if we got too much weight up

here we're going to trim it down and cut a lot of this off and redo it look we're

gonna we're gonna wait to see on that because this is a beautiful work deck up

here on the front so anyway happy as can be it's coming along it was a lot of fun

to have all the guys over here yesterday there's a lot of talent among them but

I've want to get you across to you too that you don't have to have that level

of talent building on these boats there's a lot of the guys over here they

were just passing through yesterday using the welding machines and they

could lay down some really good welds it's a lot of matter of you know taking

your time and doing it carefully if you want a pretty boat

but we're not in a pretty boats we're in work boat so pretty is not a necessity

no so I'm not doing much of a video on this what I want you to do is go look at

Chucky 2009 and and Peter's ela and 42 fab and

well the rest of the guys over here don't have YouTube channels but those

are the main guys that came in Oh Steven Cox yeah because of we got a diesel

engine running and it sounds good we got the starter mounted on it I mean even

though that would be a problem he rigged that up fine so cool we got something to

work with and he tuned up the it turned up the fuel pump on it tuned showed me

how to do that so we're in business thank you to all you guys so if you

The theatre was built in 1831

and renovated in 1993

by the architect Jean Nouvel.

We stage classical and modern music,

dance, opera, concerts,

jazz and world music.

There's something for everyone.

Any secrets you can reveal

about the Opera?

If you visit the atrium

you'll see statues

that represent music and composers,

with the years they were born and died.

Jean Nouvel decided to leave

four empty spots

for current or future composers.

The Lyon Biennale

this incredible space,

The Biennale of Contemporary Art.

Last year the focus was on dance,

this year it's contemporary art.

It's a major event for Lyon.

Why shouldn't people miss it?

There are 150 biennales in the world.

We're third or fourth

in terms of visitors, budget, reputation.

Which isn't bad!

How long has the Biennale been running?

Since 1991,

Most of the artworks here

are created for the Biennale

and destroyed straight after.

as they are created by the artists

for the people of Lyon.

The great thing about partnering with Google

Last stop in my Lyon trip.

I'm in the Confluence district,

which was renovated in 1995.

It's all super high-tech buildings.

Especially the Musée des Confluences,

which was completed in 2014.

The museum specialises in natural history,

anthropology and civilisation.

Its name refers to the meeting point

of the Saône and the Rhône

and also the crossroads

of knowledge and culture
