Waching daily Mar 26 2018

Hi. This is Marty from Blue lightning TV.

Photoshop version CC has a feature that many people don't know it has.

It's called "Variable Radial Symmetry".

This feature essentially allows you to draw beautiful spirographs or mandalas with your brush or pencil tools.

Create a new document by going to File and New.

I'll make the Width and Height 1000 pixels each and its Resolution: 150 pixels per inch,

however, you can make them whatever size you'd like.

The Color is RGB and 8 bits per channel.

Open the Background Contents and pick white or you can click the box and pick white.

Then, click "Create" or Open.

In order to open the symmetry feature, we need to enable it in our Preferences.

Go to Edit, Preferences and "Technology Previews".

Check "Enable Paint Symmetry".

I'll open my Pencil Tool, however, you can also use the Brush Tool.

If you're using the Pencil Tool, as well, open your Pencil Picker.

Make its Size anywhere from 2 to 5 pixels with a Hardness and Opacity of 100%.

If you're using version CC 2018, you have an additional feature called, "Smoothing".

This feature smooths out your brush strokes in real time.

So, for example, if the Smoothing is 0, you 'll see that when I draw, the lines are kind of jittery.

I'll press Ctrl or Cmd + z to undo it.

When I increase Smoothing to 100, my lines are much smoother.

I'll cover the Smoothing feature in more detail in a future tutorial.

For now, I'll keep it at 100%.

Click the butterfly icon to open the list of symmetries from which you can choose.

To create a mandala or spirograph, click "New Dual Axis".

This creates a vertical and horizontal line as reference.

It opens with a Transform Tool's bounding box that can be resized, repositioned, stretched

or squeezed.

However, since we're creating a symmetrical mandala spirograph, let's accept it's default

symmetry as it is by clicking the check-mark at the top.

Open your Paths path panel.

If you don't see it, go to Window and Paths.

We can create a mandala by either renaming our path, "Radial Symmetry 12" or " Mandala Symmetry 10".

The radial symmetry maximum amount is 12, while the mandala symmetry maximum amount is 10.

We'll see the difference between the two symmetries in a moment.

As we paint on our document, Photoshop repeats and rotates the paint strokes around the radial axis.

However, if we want to mirror our paint strokes,

we'll rename the path, "Mandala Symmetry 10".

Since we'll make this into our finished mandala, open the Layers panel

and click the New Layer icon to make a new layer.

We'll use this empty layer to paint the strokes and use the background layer for the background.

This time, as we paint, Photoshop is mirroring the strokes as it rotates them around the axis.

Make the background active Let's fill it with gradient colors.

Open your Gradient Tool and make sure the Radial Gradient icon is active.

Open your gradient thumbnails.

You can click any one of these or to see more choices, click the gear icon.

I'll click "the "Noise Samples" preset, but feel free to choose whatever you like.

When you see this message, click OK to replace your current gradients with the gradients you just picked.

I'll click this one.

Once you click yours,

go to the center of your design and press and hold the Shift key as you drag straight across.

Make the mandala active and click the New Layer icon to make a new layer above it.

In this empty layer we'll create another gradient, which will fill the mandala.

To do this, we need to clip this gradient to the mandala, so as to not fill the background.

Press Ctrl + Alt + G on Windows or Cmd + Option + G on a Mac

or you can go to Layer and "Create Clipping Mask".

Click a different gradient.

Go to the center and this time, I'll drag it to the upper, right.

This is Marty from Blue Lightning TV.

Thanks for watching!

Angel Card Reading MARCH 25-31 with Elizabeth Harper - Duration: 13:41.

Welcome I'm Elizabeth Harper and I'm here with this week's angel messages.

What I'd like you to do is place one or both of your hands over your heart just like

angel wings. Invite your angels to guide you to either message one, two, or three a

message that comes from their heart to yours. What you can also do is move your

cursor along invite your angels to guide you to a particular place in the video

where there's an extra special message for you as soon as you intuitively feel

it's time to stop right there is your message. All right so this week we are using

a big deck of angel cards and I've also added Life Purpose cards in here as well.

So what I want you to do is see if you can Intuit where your message is going

to come from where that oh my goodness where that cards gonna come from. That is

when I shake its energy that's coming through and it's was coming through just

as I was thinking the first card was right on the top of the deck. So that's a

daily message card. So that's number one let's see we're number two is I have

this image that was it. It was Archangel Gabriel

and what's interesting is that it's you have one card that you actually have two

together so they dropped out there's something very important right there for

you. So that was from Archangel Gabriel let's see our third card for of I

just had this feeling it's on the bottom it's another not another it's a

green card it's a life purpose card. That's a life purpose card alright so

our first card number one it is Listen. It's always good to listen. So the message

is "Quiet your mind beloved one and listen to our gentle listen to our

gentle reassurance. Excuse me. That everything has been taken

care of. Stay in a quiet and receptive state without worrying about the exact

nature of your desires manifestation. A quiet mind and body hears us quickly

and clearly. This is our request to you, listen. That's such a beautiful image you

know the the angel is in this lovely muted lilac mauve vibration and just saying Shh

just be quiet and that's the the sense of this is when you go into that violet

place that Lilac place that's the crown chakra isn't it? It's like that picture I

have behind me with the angel wings and then there's that violet that lilac

energy and that is very much coming into a place of solitude of of silence of

meditation of receptivity as well and there's a strong connection with the

divine as you move up to this crown chakra there's moving further up and

further up and further up and into that space where it seems to be silent and

yet it's not silent it's full of energy it's full of the most beautiful

vibration of love as well so when I feel into this card it's just saying at this

moment let go of asking let go of doing being even and just allow yourself to be

in this place where you're receptive to hear because maybe that hearing maybe

the messages that are coming through aren't not necessarily about what's happening

in your life or the questions that you are asked or or other forms of guidance

it could just be that what wants to come through is a teaching and not

necessarily the guidance. It could be something completely different so it

could just be that the message is about staying in this present moment

connecting with your guides your angels are just listening

not just to guides and angels but just listening to nature around you just

listening to the partner that you're with listening to your friends your

parents listening to your work colleagues listening to advice listening

for opportunities listening to the energy of the crystals like I'm looking

around I've got crystals everywhere just listening to that energy of the crystal

because there's a crystal consciousness or consciousness in everything there's a

vibration of energy in everything and you can hear that if you just listen. So

feel this is just happiness this it it's a very simple message but it's also very

profound message as well and it's it's almost like it's saying you know just

come back bring come bring your energy back stop putting yourself out there

let's come back into this space that is you where you are and just allow

yourself to be in this receptive place. I feel that's what the message is. I had to

stop the video for a little while because it's getting so much energy

around me with this with this with this vibration of listening and it was coming

so much around around here so I feel that that you may find that you start

scratching around this area you throat around you knows around your ears and

the back of your neck etc so it's all part of that opening up to listen okay?

So now our second card which is two cards you have Law of Attraction and Pay

Attention To Your Dreams. So that's really interesting. So this first card

I've never even seen these cards in here Law of Attraction it says, "Keep your

thoughts positive and surround yourself with positive people and situations and

you will attract more positivity into your life." Then the card is Pay Attention

To Your Dreams "You are receiving divine guidance while you sleep even if you

don't remember your dreams the answers are in your unconscious mind where they

appear in order to help you." Now I feel that Lay of attraction and pay

attention your dreams is not necessarily about your dream state. That this is

about what's your dream? What do you want to create what you want to manifest

what's your mission what's your vision what's your what's the idea that you

want to bring into reality and what the angels are saying here with that law of

attraction is that what you think what you focus on what you what you most want

what you put your energy towards that's what you attract that's your dream. So

start focusing on your dream and I feel that because these people around but

it's saying start telling people what your dream is because they may be able

to support you they may be able to help you they may be able to guide you in

some way. There might be someone that says oh I know the perfect person that

can help you with that and you won't know that until you share your dream and I

feel that that's that's just a part of this a part of this energy. I also feel

that there's another vibration here that saying the law of attraction comes

through in your dream state so you might want to write down what it is you want

to bring into your reality what it is you want to manifest be careful what you

ask for because we do say because you just might get it you might think well

why wouldn't I want it? It doesn't just come as you want it all the time it

comes often with releasing letting go of something that you've been holding on to

so that then you open yourself up for whatever it is you want to come into

your life and that could be a challenge that can be a big challenge when you're

letting go of energy through the chakras through your energy bodies for sure it

can be a challenge. Anyway back to this I feel that it would be good to write down

your dreams put that under your pillow at night

put that so that you've got that under your head and you're focusing on that

and ask your angels to help you to manifest your dreams during your dream

state. To manifest that energy during your dream set or to give you clues to

give you guidance help you to manifest that as well in

your dreams I love that idea. All right then so our final our final card of course

they're always connected this is Hearts Desires and it says the

angels are supporting guiding and protecting you as your dreams become a

reality. So if you just moved along to the video to your spot and you missed

the card for number three number two rather the card one or two you might

want to go back and watch that because I feel that with this it's saying your heart's

desires now look she's walking in water. That water is a very strong element very

strong energy when it comes to manifesting your heart's desires that

water energy is the emotions it's the emotional body so when we have this idea

of okay I want to manifest this this is my heart's desire this is what I want to

create in my in my life. I want to bring this in as as my physical reality. When

you think about it when you visualize it when you focus on it that's great that's

that's a whole big part of manifestation but if it's missing the emotion it's

just not gonna manifest it's not it's at least that's my belief you might believe

something else don't have to believe everything I say

but I feel that when it comes to manifestation it has your thought it has

your emotion and then it comes into this physical reality.

So when I look at this that water element and she's walking in the water I

feel that that's a clue to this that it's saying your heart's desires what's

really coming from your heart your heart is that emotional base what's really

coming from your heart what is going to change in your life as a consequence of

that heart's desire manifesting. Are you ready for that

are you willing to accept that into your life open your heart

and just get a sense of if you're really willing to accept that into your life.

I'm feeling as well with this energy of you know this is a turquoise vibration

here with that turquoise turquoise can be a color of communication it's

creativity it's a wonderful expressive color for sure and it's an energy that

comes between the heart and the throat you know green and blue makes the

turquoise color but turquoise is also a color of rejection. It's about pushing it

away it's like wow not ready for this right now

so with your heart's desires again it's looking at are you truly ready for this

to manifest in your life and if if it creates some kind of fear or restriction

in your body if you feel like not totally ready I want it but I'm not

totally ready then just ask your angels ask your angels to guide you to the next

step that will take you towards the fulfillment of that heart's desire

ask them to guide you to that next step to help you to be open to that next step

and see what happens I'm sure that your angels will support you and they will

guide you be open to receive that next step. Okay that's it for this week's

angel messages I hope you enjoyed them now there was some information about

life purpose in there and I have a little video on my website about life

purpose so do go check that out also I would love to share with you of course

my Archangel Gabriel prayer that would be perfect for this week lots of

creativity moving through and I feel that creativity is about creating a life

path creating manifesting bringing in your heart's desires as well so check

that out too. If you enjoyed this video please give a thumbs up let me know in

the comments below if the messages resonated for you and if they did then

please share this video with your friends I'm sure they would love

to have an angel message. I will see you next week lots of angel blessings to you. Bye!

4 Top Lessons From Raising A Million Dollars For A Movie by Darroch Greer and Ron King - Duration: 7:11.

Darroch Greer, Filmmaker: The budget was in the end million dollars and it was a million dollars Fred Rouse

our advisor we met with him early on and he said "So you're talking about a

million dollar picture?" and I said "Oh no no no no I I think three hundred, three

hundred fifty thousand dollars." And and I remember think it'd be about two years

maybe two and a half years and but because of the fundraising and because

the movie kept getting bigger it took us seven years and in the end Fred was

exactly right and it was a million dollars. Ron King, Filmmaker: Yeah, I mean I would think that

our film for the budget that we ended up spending on it was probably a big

bargain because you know we did a lot of the shoots with very very small crew

like one in some cases one person and and then when we did get to New Zealand

we were flying with helicopters and airplanes and all of that everybody who

was involved in that gave us lots of discounts so you know I think it's more

of a two million dollar movie that got made for a million dollars that's that's

why I like to think about it but in the end what did that teach you

about raising money for a movie because I know looking back on at seven years

prior do you think you actually would have said yes to it knowing it wasn't

just gonna be a few years it wasn't just gonna be three hundred thousand and all

that's gone on what do you think you would have said yes I I've often

wondered about that because it would seem very daunting but but the film grew

in such an organic way and and really we never flagged I mean that you know there

was some times that were discouraging and sometimes we're just out of money

and nothing was really happening but you know having a partner passing the ball

back and forth and I was always interested in the next thing we were

going to do I mean and we learned so much I had I had done documentaries for

television but I had never done the whole thing soup-to-nuts myself and from

the research which I really loved at the writing to to actually shooting

airplanes and I went to Europe for five weeks and shot there and went along the

Western Front and over the English Channel and then

the movie just kept getting bigger and bigger and more exciting and so there'd

be another hurdle and not enough we always felt up for it

yeah I mean my sense throughout making the movie was it was one of those ones

of sort of focus and also never taking really never taking no for an answer

it's sort of like you have to be so dedicated that you're you know people

are telling you no you can't do that you're never gonna be able to do that

and you basically in your own mind and in your own spirit

you basically say yes I can do that and I'm going to do that you know I mean so

it's one of those things of believing in the project and that you will accomplish

it and finish it that was always there even when we were at the low points that

Derek mentioned there's still this thing that's saying this movie is going to get

completed we are going to finish it we're gonna follow through and I think

that if filmmakers keep that sort of mindset as they work on their films it

it will get you get you to where you want to go you just have to believe that

it's going to happen and keep following that vision and it is persistence it

really is just showing up I mean there were times when Ron and I would fly to

New York you know to meet some people to go to a dinner party and come back with

nothing and but you know the cumulative effect of being there and going on and

you know having a bit to show for the effort you put in you know finally pays

off and again as I as I said earlier the film the film evolves you know and it

are often documentary filmmakers get setbacks and they don't have the money

to edit or continue the film but that time allows the story not only to grow

and maybe change but also to gestate and then you come up with a much fuller and

richer film yeah yeah and the other piece for young filmmakers or other

people starting out is I would just say it's

start making the movie it doesn't matter like if you have one picture and you're

making a documentary make a 30-second video with that one picture with a

voiceover and maybe a little bit of music behind it but demonstrate that you

can actually make something because that's the thing that worked for us we

made little pieces of the movie over time and we would show those pieces to

people and then people would finally say oh oh you guys can actually make a movie

as opposed to just pitching an idea because you don't have to have a lot of

resources to make a very simple piece that will speak to your vision and what

you're trying to do you know so mate start making the movie that's that's my

suggestion I completely agree with that and there are two schools of thought

about that I've worked on other projects where they said no we should we should

get all the money together first and you know and then we won't be left hanging

and we'll we will know that we can do this and and you know and I think you

have to prove yourself I mean I don't know

Ken Burns doesn't have to or you know very experienced filmmakers but you know

documentary films are curious individual projects and they often don't work out

the way you've originally thought and so yeah I think it's important to just

start working and sorry how far were you into the process when you actually got

FedEx onboard as a sponsor FedEx the the story with FedEx is that we were six

years in Wow we got an invitation to screen the film at Ash Kosh which is the

largest air show in the United States and we said yes to that even though we

didn't have a finished film and we didn't have the finishing funds either

so this was this was one of those times where we said yeah we'll be there we'll

have the movie we can screen it and then we were like okay how the heck are we

gonna do this let's call Fred Smith that's when finally our fundraising team

broke down and said yes let's and we had been trying to reach out to fat

over time but finally it broke through right at the moment that we needed them

and they came in at the very last minute to save us basically so that we could

finish the film for oshkosh so again showing up it sounds like you were

planning to go there too regardless yeah even if you were going to show a little

trailer we made the commitment but yeah but they helped us out at the end

you

Recon & DCS Plate Carrier Review - Warrior Assault Systems [English SUBS] - Duration: 16:35.

Hi BESTA airsoft team here!

I'm B01 Hugo Monteiro

and B02 Nunes

we´re here to talk about warrior assault systems plate carrier's

Here we have the DCS

and here the Recon

We are going to talk about the similarities between them

the diferences and in the end our conclusions

Warrior is an UK brand

and produces military grade gear

So warrior's plate carriers and equipments

are used by lot of european forces

in various combat cenarios

so it´s combat proven

and the price/quality ratio of their products is excelent

so we decided to do a little review

to show you the gear that they have

Starting with the comfort

that is always very important

warrior has a 3D mesh

that allows air flow

and lot's of Comfort because it's padded

it's an area that won´t overheat

and one of the diferences between the DCS and the Recon

is on DCS the top part has a soft fabric

and the recon hasn't it's 3D mesh all the way to the top

some may prefer but

one of the downsides are the more rigid parts of the 3D mesh

that will scratch more your body

The shoulder pads have a lot of padding

you won´t feel the weight as much on the plate carrier

when you carry all that extra gear in game

and as you can see has that 3D mesh

for the air flow when in contact with your body

for more breathability

that´s what you get from military grade equipment

Another important part are the threads

it tells us a lot about the quality of the product

about quality control

and the care that the brand has with production

so warrior has reinforced threads

on the points that will be in more tension

like the area where the shoulder straps attach to the plates

on the molle webbing it´s also reinforced

so it can endure the weight of the pouches and extra gear

all the threads are nylon mil-spec

It can endure mildew and sunlight deterioration

so very important for the lifespan of the product

warrior uses a good cordura. 500D

IR treatment

100% water reppelant and ITW buckles

ITW buckles can endure strong impacts and high temperatures

once again showing the high reliability

The IR treatment

it's important for those who use night vision

of course for miliatry work is important

not so much for airsoft

gear with this treatment

under night vision wont "glow" as much

as a non treated product

that will be more visible to NVG's

and the 500D cordura

it's resistant and more light

than 1000D that is heavier and harder

all these details show the high quality products that warrior has

starting with the DCS it's a little bit older model that the recon

DCS (Dynamic combat system)

a minimalist plate carrier like many others

so that you carry only the essencial stuff

when it comes to adjustments and opening it's similar to other PC's

it has velcro and the flaps to open it

multiple ways of adjusting

here we can see the 3D mesh

that enables the air flow and comfort

on the top the soft fabric

for extra comfort

because while moving and with the added weight

mags or something else it will

rub against your chest

and it will help you because there is nothing rigid

scratching your chest

it come with a radio pouch

built in with padding around it

for more Comfort

but if you want is removable

it comes out if you dont like

to run your radio here. it´s an option

it comes with the PC so

you save some money

what more can we say about the PC?

It follows the tendency of today's PC´s

on the front you have velcro loop for patches

on the back also has velcro loop

but it´s covered with this pack if you wanna know more

about it leave it on the comments

what more can we say?

on the sides you have velcros

so that can put you´re radio wires

your hydration tube

the shouder pads open

if you want to...

like i have here my tube

or if you want more wiring

the side panels

if you want you can put plates

but that is for military work

it´s a simple plate carrier

For the price that you can get it

between...

150 to 180 euros

it depends where you get it

this model is in coyote Brown the have other colors

like multicam , atacs

black and OD

this one is in coyote brown

one of the things that i would like

to see on this plate carrier

is a built in admin pouch

it´s a feature that i like the JPC has it

it´s nice to put pens

tools

note pads... smartphone

whatever you want

the side panels they could....

replace it with...

some type of elastic cummerbond

or even use the system that the recon has

simply 3 rows of molle

to give you more mobility

maybe in the future

a combination between the recon and the DCS

maybe on vídeo you can´t see it

some PC's like the CPC

have some rigid plastic plates inside

this one has it that´s why

he is saying that he would prefer the elastic

because when you use it

you may feel the plastic plate in there

when you get more tired and start to breath heavier

you may feel more tight

and with the elastic cummerbond maybe it would be more comfortable

but that depends with the user

and there is not much to say about the DCS

just a little curiosity

the DCS is NTOA certified

National tactical officers association

it´s an association in the US

that was funded to...

support law enforcement

and military

with training, and equipment

so it´s certified I dont know if it has credibility

but it seems that the association has some reputation

and maybe gives a good rep to the product

but it´s a great plate carrier at a great price

it´s military grade

it´s below other PC's in terms of price like

LBT, crye

you can get a mil spec PC

at a more affordable price

i'm very satisfied with it

we recommend warrior a lot

and in the future you may do some more reviews of other products

just a last tip... Maybe people

think that were talking about a plate carrier

between 150 and 200 euros

it´s true but people

buy the cheapest stuff

and then they buy another a little bit more expensive

and in the end they will buy this one

we always tell players that ask us

about what we use or what we like

buy only once with quality

sometimes it´s the best option

wait a little if you can´t buy immediately

but buy only once

it´s a solid piece of advise for airsoft

for PC's or any other gear

Now let's talk about the recon

The recon just like the DCS

Has the same 3D mesh,cordura

same threads

it´s a more recent plate carrier

it has a quick release system

it´s a nice option

for those who like it

on the sides has the buckles that you rapidly open

and take off the PC

but there is a downside

for you to have the quick release system

you cant attach a pouch

so here you can´t have extra gear

but that depends on your taste

the recon has another difference

it´s good for smaller people

it´s more tight

good for short individuals because of the slim shape of the plates

it gives good freedom of movements

what can we say more ?

The recon was made to be

dynamic, lightweight and low profile

but also to attach warrior's chest rigs

that´s why they made the recon

they had the chest rigs and wanted

to mimic the haley strategic system with the D3

that can attach to other plate carriers so warrior went

with that idea and created the recon

and this quick release system is to attach

the pathfinder chest rig from warrior

once the again the downside

no built in admin pouch

they could have a done a better job here

because the 3D mesh goes all the way to the top

and this area is to

hard and stiff

if it rubs against your neck it will start to hurt

they should have included on the top

the soft fabric

or something a bit smoother

or even improve the finishing of the 3D mesh

so it would be more comfortable for the user

as for the rest

another difference

are the pads here

that you can remove

but this is to help you

to pass the wires and the hydration

but if you want to remove them you can

but has he said

if you re a smaller guy

or a slimer guy

it´s a better PC for you than the DCS

that is bigger

and i think that´s everything.....

it´s a modular plate carrier

and can adapt to various types of missions

some will prefer the recon other the DCS

that depends on your personnal taste

it´s still a great product with some things to improve

but as good as the DCS

a tip for you guys

some people ask us

or we see sometimes

no matter the brand or the type of plate carrier that you use

what happens is people use a platform that is too big

and when bend you body our you need to move

the plate carrier rubs or is to near to your belt system

you have to see what size of gear you use

and more important this top area here

we see lots of people that put the PC to high

others to low

we see...

the real operators in real life

we must follow the good examples

we have these bones here it's a reference point

the top of the plate carrier should be in this area

LEGO Nicktoons Minifigures - CMF Draft! - Duration: 7:04.

LEGO and Nickolodeon's relationship

has been rocky over the passed few years,

with the Spongebob line ending in 2012,

and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme ending in 2014.

But what if the relationship rinkindled,

and we got a LEGO Minifigures series solely based on Nicktoons?

How would it look, realistically?

Of course, this is assuming they had the rights

to all of the original cartoon programing,

and that no other construction toys

had the license to Nickelodeon besides LEGO -

with 20 characters total.

I have to shoutout Ashnflash,

who did the incredible artwork for this video -

check his Flickr and Instagram accounts linked in the description.

Well, let's start with the guaranteed characters.

I think they'd release an updated Spongebob.

None of the previous versions had dual moulded arms and legs,

so we have that here,

along with an updated face print.

The only new mould will be his fry cook hat,

but his accessories would be a spatula

with some nice black coloring at the handle,

and a brick built Krabby Patty.

My original concept was to use this smaller design

in the top righthand corner,

but the final design looks better,

which was thought up by Ashnflash.

Of course, we can't have Spongebob without Patrick.

And, he'll also get dual moulded legs now,

with printing that continues onto the bottom half.

For his accessory, I have the net piece and a jelly fish,

with a stand made out of a pole and cone piece.

And, no this isn't the LEGO Spongebob series,

but the final spongebob character would be an updated Squidward -

with new dual moulded arms and printed legs.

His accessories would be a new clarinet mould,

and a bold and brash printed on a 2x2 tile.

One of the first Nicktoons is one that appears

in most Nicktoons throwback merchandise, The Rugrats.

And I have three characters I'm sure would be made in this series -

the first the main star, Tommy Pickles.

This was a bit hard to translate into minifigure form,

since he is a very cartoony looking character,

but the accessory I gave him was a new mould

for his famous screwdriver.

However, I'm really satisfied with how figure five,

Chucky, turned out.

There will be a new mould for his hair

and glasses pieces, which was inspired by Robin's

in the LEGO Batman Movie sets, and his accessory

would be a new mould of a Reptar toy,

based off the old baby dino mould.

And, I think an Angelica minifigure would be guaranteed.

We actually reused Harley Quinn's hair mould

from the LEGO Batman Movie,

I mean they'd probably do a new mould

but I like how much this hairpiece works -

it even has space for her little hair bows.

There would be a new mould for a Cynthia doll accessory.

And, for the last of the guaranteed characters,

Rocko from Rocko's Modern Life,

another classic Nicktoon.

The accessories I gave him was a new mould for his dog Spunky,

as well as a phone -

maybe I was thinking too much of my favorite joke in the show,

when Rocko becomes a… special uh, phone operator.

They could give him a comic as an accessory though,

since he does work at a comic shop

Alright, moving onto the 75% guaranteed characters,

I have Danny Phantom.

He would have a new hair mould,

with a fenton thermos accessory - a cylinder piece and a 1x1 circular tile.

We chose the genie leg piece,

maybe they would also include a regular leg piece.

The only reason this is not 100% likely

is because the show has been off the air for a bit,

and some of the Nicktoons toys lines of today don't include him as a figure.

That's the same reason I have Jimmy Neutron at a 75% -

and for him, he has a brickbuilt hypno gun as an accessory,

and a newly moulded hair piece.

I also had Timmy Turner,

with a new hair mould that has a hole in it -

which you use to put his cap in.

His accessories would be a bowl piece

with Cosmo and Wanda as fish and a Crimson Chin #1 comic.

Ashnflash did amazing work with the artwork for this -

I mean look at it!

Then there's Cosmo, with a newly moulded corn piece,

Timmy's hair piece in green,

and a newly moulded crownpiece that sort of pokes out.

The wand piece is a recolor of the classic one.

Of course, we can't have Cosmo without Wanda,

and she has an exclusive hair piece, a wand piece,

and a minifigure book of Da Rulez.

I also have Zim, from Invader Zim.

The show targeted a different kind of demographic

and is still popular with a lot of people today,

but it may be a bit too dark,

which is why I didn't put it at 100 percent.

A new moulded head -

which I'm not sure if his antennas would be a seperate mould

like Twitch or moulded with the head.

The accessory would be a waffle printed on a two by two tile.

And, with Zim, there has to be Gir -

a character whose merchandise is still incredibly popular.

Gir's in the dog outfit,

I'm sure a Series 2 would have the normal version.

Oh, and his accessory is a cupcake, of course.

And, you know, we have to have characters

from one of the most recent popular Nicktoons - The Loud House.

This show is a mega success

and I chose Lincoln Loud to get a minifigure.

His hair piece is a new color of Emmet's from the LEGO Movie,

and his accesory would be the camera he found in the attic -

thanks Just a Kid that Rants for the idea.

No new moulds required.

And, the only other Loud House character for this series is Lori Loud,

who would have a new hair piece,

and her phone as a 1x2 print.

By the way, the reason they're a 75 percent,

it's just because the Nicktoons nostalgia merch

tends not to include Loud House stuff,

since it is pretty recent.

Lastly, I have Ickis from Aaah Real Monsters -

a classic Nicktoon to many,

but if I was being honest,

I was never a fan of this show.

I couldn't even think of an accessory for him,

but with his elaborate head mould,

he'll probably be just like Stitch from the Disney Series with none needed.

I put him at a 75% because Real Monsters

is one of the lesser recognized of the classic shows,

but it still has a big shot.

Alright… to the fifty percenters,

I have Aang from The Last Airbender.

It's one of my favorite Nick shows,

and funny enough, we DID get sets on it before,

and this update is long overdue.

I still kept the regular legs -

yeah, he's physically 10 years old in the show,

but I think it works best since he's pretty lanky

and it allows for more action.

His accessory would be Momo,

using the original moulding updated.

The only reason Aang is at a 50 percent is because I think Avatar

is co-owned by Dreamworks now or something,

and he's never included in Nicktoons merch of the recent days.

I also have Ren from Ren and Stimpy -

he was really hard to translate into LEGO Minifigure form.

His accessory would be a can of powdered toast.

For Stimpy, he would have a head slash body mould

as one that LEGO does time to time.

His accessory would be a pouch

of gritty kitty litter printed on a 1x2 tile,

suggested by im2awsom on Reddit, thank ya.

The reason Ren and Stimpy are 50 percent

is due to the show having a lot of controversy around it,

to the point where they even did an adult version of the show.

Still, characters like Batman and the Joker

have appeared in media that was not for kids,

so I think LEGO might do Ren and Stimpy for a series like this.

So, here's the checklist of the series.

Ashnflash did such a great job with the artwork for this series -

it's crazy seeing my dreams come to life.

But, many classic characters may be left out…

so, let's touch briefly on some glaring exclusions.

Characters like Heffer, XJ9, and the Angry Beavers

barely missed the list as I don't think they're popular enough -

but they would definitely be in a series 2, if I make it.

Characters from Hey Arnold would be in here

because they're popular enough, and trust me,

I wanted them to be because it's my favorite Nicktoon

along with classic Spongebob, but there's a problem

in which a character like Arnold requires a newly moulded head,

and it just wouldn't fit in with the other humans

in this series NOT having a moulded head.

It would completely clash, and there's no way there

would be Gerald and Helga but no Arnold,

so I had to make the hard decision to omit all three.

Oh, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are technically a Nicktoon,

but since they started as another property

and have been this huge separate franchise most of their life,

I don't think they'd put any in here

since the series celebrates Nicktoons.

Now, I want to hear from you guys.

Who did I miss out, and what accessories would you give them?

Leave your thoughts in the comments below.

And, five dollar up Patreon supporters can vote

on the next CMF draft, check out the card to go to the poll.

South Korea covered in thick blanket of ultra-fine dust _ 032618 - Duration: 2:51.

We woke up this morning to a thick blanket of smog and ultra-fine dust shrouding the

entire country.

It's so bad that the authorities are taking emergency measures to try and protect the

population from the nasty air.

Korea was hit by dangerously high levels of fine dust throughout the weekend,… and today,

it's no different.

In fact, it appears to be even worse.

Levels of PM two-point-five, the finest diameter dust that can penetrate deep into the lungs,...

is topping 50 micrograms per cubic meter almost everywhere,… with Seoul seeing 100-plus.

Braving the dust to give us an update,...we have our Lee Jee-hyun standing by at one of

Seoul's busiest commuter hubs,... Sadang Station.

Jee-hyun, are you seeing most people wearing face masks?

Hi Semin.

It's indeed a grim morning today.

I've been seeing early morning commuters come by with their face masks on... to protect

themselves from the fine dust.

Wearing a mask is a must this morning, just being outdoors for a few minutes can cause

itchy eyes, sore throat and even headaches.

It's a one rough morning commute.

An ultra fine dust alert has been in place for the capital since Saturday night, and

it's still in place.

According to research, it only takes about 5 minutes for ultra fine dust particles to

enter the lungs.... again, be sure to wear a face mask.

High levels of fine dust are expected until Wednesday, while those in southern provinces

will have slightly better air quality compared to those of us in the capital area, but it's

always better to be safe than sorry so have a face mask handy and check the levels before

heading out.

Beijing will also have unhealthy levels of fine dust,... while Tokyo will have moderately

high levels, with both capital cities expected to have warm afternoon highs.

Nothing to complain about temperature-wise here in Korea.

Seoul is waking up to a low of 7 degrees, Daegu and Gyeongju are having a low of 6 degrees.

Daily highs will be warm under sunny skies, Seoul getting up to 16 degrees, Daejeon and

Busan at 20 degrees.

Wear glasses, no contacts today, take public transportation if you can.... be sure to wash

hands frequently and drink plenty of water to protect yourself from the smog storm.

That's all for me, back to you Semin.

Improve Your Tone by NOT Playing with Too Much Air - Duration: 2:24.

Improve Your Tone by NOT Playing with Too Much Air

This lecture is on breathing and how breathing can affect your tone.

When you're breathing improperly, too much air is coming out.

And while the old saying goes, "if you're really fat, it's because you eat too much fat."

When you play, and you have too much air, well then, your tone is airy.

So, breathing is very important to improving your tone.

And if you can learn how not to use so much air when you play,

your tone will get so much better.

Usually you have tone coming out but on all sides all the way around your tone, this laser

beam of tone is a whole bunch of air.

And when you learn to hold it in and not use all that air, then what we do is we take off

all those edges and leave just that laser beam of air.

So, if I'm playing and I'm just not worrying about my breathing:

Yankee Doodle And of course, that's how you played when

you were young and you were just beginning flute.

Because all this air was coming out.

Over the years you've probably learned to hold in some of that air just naturally.

But, you need to really know how to hold in the air, really understand in order to hold

in enough.

You're probably not holding in as much as you should.

Or to compensate, for all that air wanting to come out you've made this really tight.

And we'll talk about the tight embouchure at another lecture.

Right now, we just want to talk about breathing.

So, when you breathe properly, you then hold in air.

You don't let it out.

And now only sound comes out.

Quite a big difference between that and

the sound I had when all the air was coming out.

So, let's talk about breathing in more depth in another lecture.

But that's where you have to start.

You have to start with breathing.

So, have fun.

How to write affirmations that are believable and get results - Duration: 20:02.

Hi.

It's Paul here from selfhelpforlife.com, and in today's video I'm going to talk about how

to write affirmations that are believable and get results.

Now, every thought you think is an affirmation, especially thoughts that you think often,

so those repetitive thoughts, and we're also bombarded with negative messages, especially

from the media, so positive affirmations can help redress the balance, and I often say

that you're using affirmations anyway, so why not make them positive?

Because your unconscious mind, your subconscious mind, can't tell the difference between what

you think and tell it and reality.

This is especially true if you imagine it as well, so in this video I'm going to cover

10 ways to make affirmations more believable and to get better results with affirmations

as well.

Number one, make them believable.

For this first example I'm going to assume that you're not yet a millionaire.

Okay?

So if you are, congratulations.

Right now I'd like you to say out loud, if you can, or silently to yourself, but out

loud if you can, "I am a millionaire."

So, "I am a millionaire."

When you say that, what do you notice?

What do you notice inside?

What thoughts do you notice?

Is there an internal voice, maybe something saying like, "Oh, no, you're not.

No, that's impossible.

Don't be so stupid"?

Something like that.

They are the typical thoughts that often people would have to a statement like that, and those

thoughts are coming from a part of your mind called the critical faculty.

That's a part of the mind that's protecting you from new ideas that are not believable,

so any kind of affirmation that's not believable is going to get caught by the critical faculty

and it won't go inside to the unconscious mind, okay?

Often a great analogy or way of thinking about the critical faculty, I got from Andrew Parr

and I'll post a link to his website below this video, but he talks about it as being

like the bouncer in a nightclub, so imagining a nightclub.

The bouncer is there, and the bouncer is deciding who's going to get into the nightclub and

who isn't probably based on what they look like and dress code and various things, whether

they're on the guest list, all those kind of things.

When we have a new idea it's like the critical faculty or the bouncer in our mind is saying,

"Yes, I accept this idea.

I'm going to let this idea in, or I'm not going to accept it."

Now thinking of the bouncer in the nightclub example, if you go up to the bouncer directly

and try and push yourself in, that's not going to work.

He's just going to not let you in or he's going to get his mates and line up the door

so you can't get in.

But if maybe you started talking to him in a nice way and maybe distracted him in some

way, something like that, that maybe you could slip inside while there's a bit of confusion,

something like that.

Okay, so it's a little bit the same with affirmations.

If you can kind of befriend your critical faculty, some way approach it indirectly,

more indirectly and more believable way, then the affirmation is more likely to stick, okay?

Andrew Parr calls this the door policy for new ideas, so what is your door policy for

new ideas?

Okay, so we're talking about sort of indirectly getting round this bouncer or door policy

for new ideas.

One way of doing that is use an "I want" statement, so, "I want to be a millionaire."

Try and say that to yourself right now.

"I want to be a millionaire."

Say it out loud if you can.

What's that like?

Now I suspect your critical faculty, that door policy for new ideas, is likely to accept

that more.

It's more believable.

You know, it might say something like that, "Yeah, maybe.

Yeah, maybe I can accept that."

So it's like a stepping stone, and what will happen is as you say that affirmation more

and more often you take action towards being a millionaire, your belief will grow and then

you can take it to the next step.

Okay, so if any affirmation seems unbelievable or unrealistic, start with, "I want."

Okay?

"I want" whatever the affirmation is.

Then when that starts to become more believable, you can change the statement to "I can," so,

"I can be a millionaire."

Say that to yourself or out loud now.

What's that like?

Then at some point as you're taking more steps to becoming a millionaire, that belief, "I

can be a millionaire," that affirmation, "I can be a millionaire," that's going to become

more believable and more comfortable.

Your door policy for new ideas begins to accept that more, and at that stage you can change

it to, "I am a millionaire."

Okay?

So start with an "I want" statement.

Then when you're ready and it feels believable, change to "I can't" and then change it to

"I am."

Now, quite a few other personal development experts say that affirmations must start with

"I am."

Okay?

That's okay as long as the critical faculty, the door policy for new ideas, accepts that

direct statement, but if it doesn't, then that affirmation is just not going to slip

into the unconscious mind.

It's just going to be rejected.

It's unbelievable and it won't work.

Okay.

Another thing that a lot of personal development experts say as well is that affirmations must

be in the present tense, so if you actually say, "I want to be a millionaire" or, "I can

be a millionaire," they're kind of in the future tense.

Okay?

But if the mind accepts that, that's much more important that it takes it in, so the

most important thing is the mind is got to accept the affirmation.

Having said that, I do tend to avoid "I will" because that does tend to keep you in the

future tense forever, so I do avoid using "I will," so I would never say, "I will be

a millionaire," for instance.

Okay.

Also what's good about "I want" and "I can" affirmations is that your unconscious mind

is picking up on the want to be a millionaire or the millionaire bit or whatever it is the

affirmation is, so it's hearing that positive outcome.

Okay, so that was number one, making it believable, so I've shown you my approach for doing that.

The second one is stepping stones, so try this affirmation emphasise.

"Every day I am making progress to becoming a millionaire."

Okay.

What's that like?

What's your critical faculty think of that one?

It seems a lot more believable, doesn't it?

Or what about, "Every day I am becoming one step closer to becoming a millionaire"?

Okay, again, much more believable, and notice that both of those statements are using "I

ams" as well, so an "I am" statement is fine if you can make the affirmation itself more

believable.

Okay?

Thinking about the door policy for new ideas, yes, it can accept that.

It's more believable.

The classic stepping stone affirmation is, "Every day, in every way, I am getting better

and better," by Émile Coué.

I suspect you've heard of that one before.

Number three is to be specific, so the affirmation, "I want to be rich," that's too vague.

You know, what does rich mean?

Being much more specific, "I want to earn $115,000 by the end of 2018," that's much

more specific.

You've got a specific amount there and you've got a specific date as well.

How about the affirmation, "I want to lose weight?"

Again, that's pretty vague, so a much better affirmation might be something like, "I enjoy

wearing a size 12 dress."

See how much more specific that is.

Now, what about the affirmation, "I am confident"?

Is that specific or vague?

Okay, we're going to do a little exercise right now.

What I want you to do is I want you to complete this sentence, so the sentence is, "Confidence

means being able to ... " Complete the sentence, so, "Confidence means being able to ... " Now

I'll give you a few seconds to complete that sentence, so grab a piece of paper or write

a note on your computer.

"Confidence means being able to ... " Okay.

What do you notice?

Okay, while you're writing that down what I want to encourage you to do when you write

that down is to put the answer in the comments because I'd love to see what you come up with,

but some of the typical ones that have come up when I've done this exercise in the past

would be things like, "Confidence means being able to do something scary and know it will

turn out okay."

Or, "Confidence means being able to do your best and be okay with the outcome."

Or, "Confidence means being able to feel that I can do it."

Or, "Confidence means being able to just be myself and not rely on the opinions of others."

Or, "To be comfortable with people from many backgrounds."

Or, "Be able to pick up the phone and talk clearly and enthusiastically to 10 new customers

a day."

So you can see how much more specific that confidence affirmation is.

In turning some of those statements that I just mentioned, those ending of that sentence

into affirmations, you could have examples such as, "I always do my best and I know that

it will turn out okay."

Notice how much more specific that is to "I am confident."

Or, "I always feel that I can do it."

Or, "I easily pick up the phone and talk clearly and enthusiastically to 10 new customers today."

Be as specific as you can with your affirmations.

A vague affirmation will give you a vague and uncertain result.

Number four, write affirmations in the positive.

Now remember that your unconscious mind thinks in pictures and it doesn't hear the word "no,"

so for example, if I have the affirmation, "I no longer eat Kentucky Fried Chicken,"

what's your brain imagining as I'm saying that?

You're probably noticing what Kentucky Fried Chicken looks like, smells like.

You may even notice the taste of it, so though the affirmation is about no longer eating

it or not eating it, your brain has to picture it to be able to think not to do it, okay?

So that's why you should always write your affirmations in the positive, so a better

affirmation would be something like, "I only eat food that nourishes the body and makes

me feel great."

So, "I only eat food that nourishes my body and makes me feel great."

Okay?

It's stated in the positive.

To help you do that, always avoid using the word "no, not, never, or can't" in affirmations.

Okay, so the fifth one is to write affirmations that support your goals, so before you start

writing your affirmations write down your goals first.

Hopefully you've already done that.

Hopefully you already have some goals, but if you don't, write down some goals first

and then you can create affirmations that support achieving those goals.

For example, if you have a goal that is to lose 10 kilos, so let's say you want to go

from 80 kilos to 70 kilos, then affirmations could be things like, "I am quickly and easily

achieving my ideal weight of 70 kilos."

Or, "I enjoy and look forward to exercising four times a week."

Or, "I naturally eat food that supports my weight loss goals and I enjoy them too."

Something like that.

Number six, write outcome and process affirmations.

For example, "I want to be a millionaire" is an outcome affirmation, and it's very broad

and it's very big, and it's also not completely within my control.

Also, "I want to lose 20 kilos" is also not completely within your control because there's

things that you'll need to do to achieve that goal.

Okay, so they are good examples of outcome affirmations.

Process affirmations will be something like, for the millionaire example, "I am starting

a new business that follows my passion."

Or, "I'm seeing 20 clients a week and making $2,000."

Or, "I invest 10% of everything I earn."

Okay?

They're stepping stone affirmations towards getting to that higher goal of becoming a

millionaire or achieving a certain level of income.

The seventh one is to write words that trigger emotions.

Affirmations always work much better when you can feel the affirmation and experience

the emotion of it at the same time.

One way to do that is to put emotionally charged words in your affirmations, so here are some

example words you could use, words such as "inspired, powerful, happy, grateful, ecstatic,

alive, joyful, delighted, loving, beautiful, secure, serene, triumphant, enthusiastic,

peaceful, calm, great, wonderful."

An example could be, "I feel wonderful fitting into a size 12 dress."

Number eight is to write affirmations to support a new identity.

Okay, so everything stems from your sense of identity, and the fastest way to make any

kind of change in life is to develop a new sense of identity, so your identity drives

your beliefs, which then drive the thoughts that you have, which then drives the feelings

that you have, which then drives the actions that you take.

Okay?

So an example with losing weight.

If you think about the sense of identity of a fitness trainer, it's probably going to

be something like, "I am someone that eats to nourish the body and exercise it daily

to have the body that I deserve."

So if that really permeates the sense of self, that whole idea of eating to nourish the body

and exercising daily, then everything they do, all their beliefs, their beliefs around

exercise, it's going to be fun, it's something that's important, it's a must for me to do.

Their food choices if they're eating to nourish the body, then their food choices are going

to be food that's going to do that.

Their thoughts are going to be positive and all around that as well.

They're going to have positive feelings they eat the right foods and exercise, and then

they're going to easily exercise and do all the right things as well.

The sense of identity for a millionaire might be something like, "I am a person that makes

money easily by making good business decisions, by investing wisely, and offering as much

value to others as I possibly can."

Or more simply it may be just, "I am a millionaire," as long as that's believable to that person.

This is where the power of an "I am" statement comes in to really help change your sense

of identity, but again, only if that "I am" statement is believable.

Number nine, use resources or experiences from the past.

You probably have emotions or skills from the present or the past that can be used as

fuel for your future affirmations.

For example, this one here, it could be, "I use the drive and determination that I have

in my career to achieve my ideal weight of 70 kilos."

Okay?

This could be like a businessperson that really had great success in their career, they got

real drive, real determination, they've made a lot of success, but maybe they've been struggling

to have that drive and determination to lose weight.

Okay?

What this affirmation is doing is allowing them to use what they already have to focus

on that weight loss goal, if that makes sense, so think about things you've done well in

the past, resources, emotions, and apply those to affirmations to help you make changes in

the future.

Number 10, the last one, is to write affirmations to automatically replace repetitive negative

thoughts and feelings.

Okay?

What you do with this one is you grab a sheet of A4 paper, and on the left hand side you

write down all those repetitive thoughts that you have all the time, all those negative

repetitive thoughts and any feelings as well, okay?

Now on the right hand side you write an affirmation that's the opposite of that, okay?

If you find you're often like, judging people, you might have an affirmation that says something

like, "I accept everyone just the way they are."

Or if you often have thoughts around pain in the body, you could have an affirmation

like, "Every cell of my body vibrates with energy and health."

Or if you often feel stuck, you could have an affirmation that's something like, "if

I'm committed, there's always a way."

Okay?

So whenever you have that stuck feeling, you can immediately say that affirmation.

The key here is that if you have them already lined up in advance, you can just say them

as soon as that thoughts comes into mind, so when want to think about a replacement,

you can just nip that thought in the bud straight away.

If you find you're focusing on things that you don't have in your life or things that

are working, you could have an affirmation like, "The more I focus on what I do want,

the faster I will get it."

Something like that.

Okay, so that was the final one.

A few points in closing.

Be creative about what you write affirmations about.

You can write affirmations about thinking patterns you want to change, life experiences

you want to improve, experiences you'd like to have in life, feelings you'd like to enjoy,

and what you'd like your life to be like.

Okay, so be creative.

Think about all the different areas that you can write affirmations for.

These are my 10 ways to write affirmations that are both believable and get results,

so I encourage you to try them out, give them a go, and do let me know how you get on.
