And today our guest is indescribable handsome, squonk box mod by CVP - Custom Vape Parts. It is Russian company
This company was based in 2016 and during this time its positively proved itself
Initially this company was making 810 drip tips out of acryl and due to a great quality it earned popularity on internal market pretty fast
By the way, in dark times when fidget spinners were popular, guys had a sin like many others - they've introduced a few models to a Russian community
A little later guys from CVP decided to try themselves at squonk mods making. So at June 27th, 2017 in official group of CVP they showed the first photo of prototype
And August 9th, 2017 they launched the production of the first batch of stabilized wood squonk mods
But the CVP didn't stop at this. And in early November of 2017 CVP introduced their first squonk mod which body was made out of delrin
And all of exterior part had laser engraving
Battery door of delrin squonk mods is made out of acryl which is also have different laser engravings
Recently, to be exact March 2nd, 2018, CVP introduced new bodies for the squonk mods which is made out of white delrin and fully ultem
Also, CVP promised to introduce more colors soon, for box mods which are made out of white delrin, but it will be colored with special paint
How all of it will look we can only guess, but I'm pretty sure CVP will make it good
Since guys still making acrylic 810 drip tips they added an option of swappable buttons for their squonk mods, which you can purchase separately
You can pick the color of this button to match battery door of your mod. And it will look stylish. Like in my case
Also you can order custom engraving, but it will affect the final price

Don't forget that company is custom makers, so you always can do something by your preferences, but it will affect the price
Okay folks, let's not delay the wonderful moment of close up. So let's dive down and take a look at this beautiful mod. Let's roll
Okay friends, let's figure out what's laying on my table
Here's two containers with drip tips which are made by Custom Vape Parts, here's the box with box mod inside and another container with stock button
Let's start with these containers which contains drip tips. Guys send me drip tips so i could show it to you and i can say - it's very nice and high quality 810 drip tips
It's made out of acryl and as you can see it have high quality - there's no edges, everything is mirror polished and these drip tips could be different shapes, diameters and sizes
As you can see these two have different fit, though both of them is 810
Besides guys sent me drip tip for Entheon. As we all know Entheon RDA have non-standard drip tip fit, so CVP made a drip tip with o-ring which is fits nicely in that non-standard slot
Another container with stock button. This button is made out of delrin for this squonk box mod
Since in mine squonk mod i have custom red button installed, guys still send the stock button
You can swap it by yourself
So the stock delrin button of this squonk mod is look like so
But let's finally open this wooden box with CVP logo, engraving and interesting latch
This box is opened like so - push your finger inside, shift the latch and open the cover
Initially we have this foam under the cover which will protect your mod from being scratched and under this foam we have box mod itself
Besides we have a free add-on to a kit contents - this nice ODB battery wrap
Guys from ODB have a huge collection of various prints for wraps, so if you looking for one - google it
And as i said we have one free battery wrap in this kit
Also in the kit we have a business card of the company who is making silicone bottles. This is Italian company and this is exact bottle that is installed in this squonk mod
We will look at this bottle later. And this was all regarding this kit contents
And now technical specs of this squonk mod. As we already know, the body of it is made out of delrin and fully covered with laser engraving
CVP is milling the casings on CNC machines by themselves. The door is made of acryl and available in various colors
Also they make doors out of ultem which is also have engraving. In this case we have a Mexican holiday themed engraving, Los Muertos
This mod is featuring English made connector MM510, Italian made SunBox CappyR 6ml silicone bottle
Contact group is made out of solid 925 sterling silver. In my case the nut on connector is made of silver-plated brass, but at the moment CVP is also making solid silver nuts
Besides, this mod featuring button lock option, powered by 1*18650 and fit for atomizers that is 24mm in diameter
A distinctive feature of delrin mods is a 1 cent coin on the bottom of the mod and hides contact group mount
Overall friends, that was specs. Now let's take a detailed look at it
As always we start from the top where we have English made metal 510 connector MM510. These connectors are famous for their simplicity and quality of manufacture. And it's great that CVP decided to use this connectors in their mods
As you can see the connector sits flush with main delrin body. And it's good
Next. On this side we see a engraving which is sort of waves and this engraving goes all around the body of the mod
And on this side we see a custom red button with a deepening and compared to stock button it looks nicer and nicer to the touch

And like i said before on the bottom we have a 1 cent coin which hides the contact group mount
Okay folks, that was exterior. Now let's take a look inside
This door is easy to remove - it holds by pressure of plastic, and when you will put the battery in will also be holding on 2 magnets
Basically it's standard type of mount for such doors and by the way, that doors window have sort of bevels on the edges for more convenient squonking and this is good
Let's continue. Next we see the silicone bottle which we were talking about already
Let's see how it looks and how it works
It have threaded silicone cap
Matte black bottle with manufacturer logo, it is also written that it is made in Italy
And the bottle itself do its job just fine - as you can see there's no syphon - it holds the air
Moving forward. On the bottom we have a contact group which is made out of solid 925 sterling silver
The positive contact is mounted with a screw which is screws into the body and being fixated on the outside. This is what this coin hides
Inside we have a slots for a bottle and for the battery
On the top we have a solid silver contact group for battery
The button press happens like so. As you can see this button springs back due to a contact group
In here the connector is seen and that silver-plated brass nut
The nut itself have a plastic insulator for button lock which is working by spinning. So if you turn it that way - it won't fire
And standard contact group. And yes, don't forget this connector is spring-loaded so when you screw down your atomizer this part will go lower
I guess we've seen everything, now let's prepare it for work
For a start i will screw the Entheon RDA with a 24mm beauty ring. While i screw it down auto-adjustment is happening
Next let's fill the bottle
Don't fill it to the edge since we need to put the tube inside as well
So after we put the tube inside there's no free space left
After this install the bottle in box mod, check the squonking - as you can see bottle is delivering the liquid perfectly and takes extra back
Okay folks, we're done with battery wrap, my PC refused to work with hairdryer from one outlet, so part of the process went backstage
Under the flow of hot air this wrap will perfectly fit on the battery, i intentionally placed the battery positive side down, because we are going to use it that way in this squonk mod
Now pop the battery in. Let it be beautiful
And pop the door back
Now it's only left to press fire button and get vapor
Okay folks, we're ready to get back to face-time and vape delicious liquid

That's great. It performs very well, nice soft button, but anyway, let's discuss pros and cons, nitpicks and so on
This mod have one con and it's a classic con for such box mods with such contact group, for mechanical mod with direct contact - it is black dots aka arcs which will appear on contacts
Since in this mod we have a solid silver contact group and silver-plated nut, or you can purchase solid silver nut separately, arcs won't be big of an issue, though you have to take care and clean contacts anyway and you should be know of it
Such squonk mods will always produce arcs and you have to take care of it
It's like common truth which we should know before purchasing such devices
I'm done with cons, now it's time to talk about nitpicks
I have one nitpick - and it's my personal omission - in this box mod, in this exact sample, i don't like sharp edges
But again, this is my personal omission because i could've ask CVP to round all the edges for me and then i would be completely satisfied
So just know that when you order a mod from CVP you have an option to ask them to smoothen all the edges. Somebody likes sharp edges, someone likes rounded and smooth edges
So it's all depends on your preferences
Squonk, squonk, squonk, we don't want to catch a Garrick (burn hit)~
We don't like Garricks~ (yeah, sounds like Flash reference, but it means burn hits)~
Yee~
That's what i'm talking about
Okay folks, let's talk about pros
First pro to this box mod i'll give for quality of manufacturing. Seriously, pay attention to how i say it. For quality of manufacturing
It's manufactured great. I like how CVP manufacture their devices and drip tips
Next pro i'll give for high-quality components. England made connector, Italian made bottle, solid silver contact group - it's great and it's a pro
Another pro i'll give for safety. This box mod have button lock feature and this is good. While you are in the way with this box mod and the mod is not in your hands you can lock the button and be sure that it won't fire by itself
Next pro i'll give for stylish design and great approach to appearance of this box mod. Laser engraving giving this box mod kind of uniqueness
It looks cool as hell. I like how it looks and I give it a pro for that
Again, i'll give it a pro for customization options. You can pop in your doors, your buttons. It's great, convenient and overall wonderful
Aside from that you can swap the nut on connector to a solid 925 sterling silver one as the main contact group
I don't know how it will look like with a single coil, but i really like the performance of this box mod. With freshly charged battery it instantly delivers voltage to the coil and performs like it should and earns a pro for that
Now friends, the most interesting part, the price
I think the most quick-witted of you after seeing this review, after noticing that in here is used English made connector, Italian made bottle
Laser engraving, the button and all that good stuff, understands that it is going to be expensive
Overall, the price for this version, the one i hold in my hand, with custom door and button is 1100 rubles(19$)
1100 rubles, this is funny

With stock button this box mod will cost you 10000 rubles(175$)
810 drip tip will cost you 800 rubles(14$)
Entheon drip tip will cost you 1200 rubles(21$)
I won't be bitching, judging or crying about the price. Every manufacturer decides how much their products will cost
And your part is to understand if it is interesting for you and can you afford it or not
The only thing that i want to highlight is the fact this box mod is made and looks way better than some of its English and American analogs, which are also even more expensive than this mod
So after gathering all this information in your head - decide by yourself, as it says, to have or not to have
I made my choice, I like this mod and I will recommend it for purchase if you can afford such box mod
