Power is something that we all strive to have even if we don't publicly acknowledge that.
Everyone wants to be the coolest guy in the room, the one to whom everyone else looks
up to, The leader of the group or the team!
Power doesn't necessarily means you have to held a certain position or be physically
strong.
Power is the ability to influence others, or the environment around you.
In fact, the most miserable feeling in life is when you feel powerless, when you cant
influence anyone or anything, you feel absolutely useless!
thats why we humans are naturally attracted to power.
We want to be important
but the problem is that, not many of us really understands how to be powerful.
Most of us even views power as something bad, its the bad guys who seek power.
As good good people, we should not strive to power, we should not even talk about it!
But deep inside each and every single of us wants More Power!
And thats why here in this video, Lets understand How Power Works!
Power is a game that we all play everyday exactly like the game of thrones, regardless
if you might be trying to be promoted, or you want to attract that girl, or you simply
want to be the boss amongst your friends.
all of that is a form of power.
And if you pay a close attention to it, you will realize that Power is simply a game of
appearances, they way you look and behave creates a perception in peoples mind about
who you are!
If you appear power hungry, someone who is trying to take over, people will despise you
and hate for you for that, Everyone hates that one guy in the group who directly shows
that he wants to be the boss, although that everyone else deep inside wants the same thing!
Thats why you have to appear fair and decent and indirectly increase your power!
Although that we believe that we humans are creatures of Logic, we are in reality creatures
of emotions, and we can control other people by the way we make them feel.
If you are dealing with someone who is above you, like your boss for example.
Always make him feel superior!
The moment you display your talents or show your intelligence, you will make him feel
jealous and insecure about his position and he will do everything to get rid of you or
keep you in that low position.
And then you will be crying in the corner and complaining; why he has been promoted
instead of you, although that you more intelligent and work harder!
So In order to get More powerful!
You must learn how to master your emotions!
Usually our emotions get in charge and because of that we take the most horrible decisions.
You should not take decisions base on how you feel but rather observe the situation
clearly to take the best possible action.
Just remember the times when you get angry!
If it was because somebody insulted you, you start dreaming how you will kick his ass and
this conflict will end with him asking for your forgiveness!
Instead of dreaming of that happy ending, you must learn to not let Anger take over
you and work on calculating every step ahead of you because thats how you will get what
you want and thats the real power.
Sometimes you might need to appear less intelligent to make those above you feel superior, or
speak less to make your words more valuable, or dress in a certain way to give a different
perception about yourself.
The point isn't to start lying and deceiving people.
The idea is that, the world works in a certain way weather you like that or not, humans and
if you want to be more powerful, you have to play by these rules.
Another problem is that, there will always be people who don't give a damn about any
moral principles and will do anything possible to get what they want and if you don't understand
the rules of power, you will be crushed in no time!
