N. Korea's Paralympics delegation arrives in South Korea - Duration: 1:52.

North Korea's 24-member Paralympics delegation arrived today... using the western land route.

But Pyongyang did not send an art troupe and a cheering squad this time around.

Ji Myung-kil has the full story.

North Korea's Paralympics delegation, made up of four officials from its Paralympics

Committee and twenty other people,... including two athletes that are taking part in the games,

entered South Korea on Wednesday.

"North Korea's Paralympics delegation crossed the Military Demarcation Line at 8:45 a.m.

and arrived at South Korea's customs, immigration and quarantine office at 8:50 a.m."

Pool reporters from South Korea's Unification Ministry asked the delegation about their

feelings towards their visit to the South, but the delegation barely gave a response.

Hwang Chung-song... a senior official at North Korea's Committee for the Peaceful Reunification

of the Country did respond,... saying that he was pleased.

Hwang was the North's representative at the working-level talks with South Korea last

month to negotiate the North's participation in the PyeongChang Winter Paralympic Games.

Two North Korean sit-skiers, Kim Jong-hyon and Ma Yu-chol, will compete in cross-country

skiing on March 11th and 14th.

The International Paralympic Committee invited North Korea to the PyeongChang Winter Paralympics,

and offered two slots to athletes to compete in Para Nordic skiing events.

Four other athletes will just watch the Paralympic matches.

It is the first time ever for North Korea to participate in the Winter Paralympics.

The North's delegation will return home around March 15th.

devices from the likes of Samsung and Nokia however there was one player that

was missing from all this is LG hey this is Sreehari from mr. phone and let me tell you

what really happened to the LG G 7

of the smartphone industry and they have been creating some create phones in the

past like the Nexus 4 the Nexus 5 the lg optimus the LG g4 but the past few years

have been a little slow for them this has not necessarily been because they

have not been creating great products or not having innovating because they have

the LG g5 was a brave attempt it was possibly one of the first modular phones

to be released in the mainstream market they feel miserably but they did

something about it they had a removable battery on that phone do you could add

mods to it it was a great attempt the LG d six on the other hand was the first

mod from the mainstream market to show an 18 by 9 aspect ratio display now it

has become a trend and almost every phone in the market has such a display

but the LG G 6 was the first one to do

it the LG v series the v10 the way xx the V

30 I don't think I have to say anything about them they were excellent

enthusiast devices but then what went wrong I think there is one thing that LG

has been missing for the past few years and that is timing the LG flagship

launches in the past have been very badly time they either went unnoticed

because of poor marketing or they were overshadowed by major events like the SA

test hit Plus launch or even the note 8 launch now the real question is what did

they do about it now MWC 2018 came and went and LG did not release a flagship

what they did instead was just refresh and already existing LG v 30 with a

little bit more RAM more storage and AI for marketing so what happened to the LG

G 7 well apparently the LG G 7 is not going to make it to the market and the

supposin g7 or the LG G 6 successor will be released in June and it will be

called something else entirely if this is going to be a complete overall for

energy they're building a device from ground up and here's what they are

offering for the LG g 6 successor codename Judy

you'll be getting a snapdragon 845 go figure a 6.1 inch 18 by 9 aspect ratio

display so that's a tall one 64gb internal storage 4 or 6 eggs of RAM you

will get dual rear cameras with 16 and 16 megapixel sensors

you'll get IP 68 protection dust and water which is again expected we can

also expect to see stereo speakers here and they're supposed to provide really

good bass levels when kept on a surface and we'll have to see that when the

device arrives SDR imaging is present to create really good looking pictures out

of the camera and you also get wireless charging LZ is also supposedly working

on a new type of display which is called M LCD plus so it has an RGB W matrix

which has an extra white sub pixel white is the color bass is very prominent on

Android phones right now for example you open YouTube Gmail or even when you go

to where white is a very prominent color so that display will basically enable

them to create a brightness of as high as 800 minutes while consuming 35% less

power which is good I guess now while LG did not release an entirely new phone at

MWC there was a leaked video hands-on video of an LTI device from Wynette and

it showed somewhat and LG t6 successor because it has the same design language

at the LD d6 and on the front it had a huge display bezel-less display but with

the knotch now that not is something that is not

while the device in the video looks very much like it could be an LG g7 it is not

according to popular league store even glass this is not going to be the LG G 7

LG is going to build a new device ground up for the LG d6 successor now this is

all the information we have about the upcoming LG flagship if you don't want

N. Korea invites S. Korean artists and Taekwondo demonstration team to perform in North Korea - Duration: 2:49.

North Korea has invited South Korea's taekwondo demonstration and performing arts teams to

give performances in the North,... in an effort to continue the current momentum of inter-Korean

reconciliation.

Park Ji-won has more details.

The proposed arts performances would be the first time that any South Korean arts company

has given a performance in North Korea's capital Pyongyang since 2002,... when South Korea's

KBS Symphony Orchestra performed together with the North's State Symphony Orchestra.

They played a variety of pieces, including Arirang,... Korea's traditional folk song

that has been sung on the peninsula well before it was divided in the mid-20th century.

A few days later,... a South Korean rock band and singers took to the stage,.. together

with North Korean singers.

Since then,... other cultural performances occasionally continued at the Mount Kumgang

resort,... until all cultural exchanges stopped in 2008.

But last month,... North Korea's arts companies resumed inter-Korean cultural exchanges with

performances in the South to mark the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

No specific dates of a possible performance in Pyongyang by a group from the South have

yet been revealed,... but it is expected that the performances will likely be held after

summit talks between the leaders of the two Koreas.

The performances are expected to include a range of genres, such as traditional music,

classical music, and even K-pop performances.

Considering that North Korea's ceremonial head of state Kim Yong-nam reportedly said

to the Korea National Ballet's artistic director Kang Sue-jin last month during his visit to

Seoul,... that it'd be nice if the ballet company could perform in North Korea,... a

ballet performance might also be included.

Experts say, however,... that while cultural exchanges are helpful for creating a positive

mood around inter-Korean relations,... they won't have any significant impact on solving

real political issues on the peninsula.

"It creates a spirit of good feeling and it helps to keep the momentum of inter-Korean

negotiations moving.

But i don't think it actually is substantial.

My concern is that they don't actually really narrow the strategic divide between the two

Koreas, so they're more like window dressing.

You know they create some atmosphere, they create some positive momentum, but they don't

really get to the major issues between the two Koreas."

South Korea's culture ministry officials told local media Wednesday that they have started

to discuss specifics about the performances with the Unification Ministry.
