Waching daily Nov 28 2018

Collecting for the pot is fun.

But finding new species is exciting.

Having spent much time exploring neighborhood woods, I have a pretty good idea as for when

and where I could expect what.

But the downside is, we don't get to see a lot of new species.

So the debate has always been, should we revisit our local spots for the hundredth time to

meet some good old fella or, shall we get into some further, unfamiliar woods,

risking not seeing much.

the choice becomes easier when there's no trade off.

When Maryland is dry and the local woods are not very productive, we would give Virginia

or DC a try.

There, we pick somewhere right next to the Potomac River, because the close vicinity

to the big river would lend mushrooms enough moisture to grow.

The other side of the river is usually indeed very rewarding.

Last time we found three species there that we hadn't seen before.

They are not necessarily rare, but I just don't get to see them around in Maryland.

So sometimes, go to somewhere you haven't been to, and you may be surprised.

Okay, in the rest of the video I am going to show you the several steps I went through

to identify these mushrooms.

This little thing is now on our weird mushroom list.

Its shape stroke me as some sort of stinkhorn mushrooms but I don't see the typical dark

spore masses that a stinkhorn should have.

Instead, I notice this little case or ballon thing on top of the stem.

This structure reminds me of a puffball mushroom, the spores of which are enclosed in such case

and, when a puffball gets mature, the case opens up thus the powdery spores can be carried

away by wind.

After the preliminary identification, I leave the rest to google.

Basically I just try some combinations of key words that describe the features of the

this fungi.

I then click on images, do a quick browse to if see anything looks familiar.

And,

this guy looks Close enough.

So let's do some more research based on its Latin name, Calostoma cinnabarinum.

Click in wiki, but,ur, the image here doesn't really resemble our sample, which seems to

be much lighter and yellower.

So go back to google, click on images to see more pictures of Calostoma cinnabarinum, try

to find images that look more like the sample.

When found something closer, click in to see if any new name pops up.

Here we go, Calostoma lutescens.

This is it.

It turn out that this fungi does have a common name, pretty mouth puffball.

How accurate.

By the way, one good thing about such nontypical mushroom is that, you may not see them a lot,

but it is relatively easy to capture their features with a few words.

Hence several tries on google may give the right answer.

And this second fungi, I was actually very excited to see them, thinking they were something

I long expected to find.

Sulphur tuft was what I thought, which was a poisonous mushroom.

Growing from dead wood, in nice clusters, and with grayish attached gills, all seemed

to fit, until I saw another, younger cluster.

Then I realized something quite important that I just missed.

See the beautiful brick red color of the cap?

It's more discernible on younger specimens.

They're brick cap mushrooms.

The brick cap and the Sulphur Tuft are two species of the same Hypholoma genus.

Thus, they share the same structure and habitat.

But the giveaway is their colors.

The brick cap has a brick red cap, and the Sulphur Tuft has a sulphur-colored, or yellowish

cap.

Also, the brick cap has grayish gills whereas the Sulphur Tuft's gills can take on a greenish

hue.

Both species yield purple brown spore prints because they share the same genus.

Provided I've never heard of the brick cap nor sulphur tuft, I will combine its key features,

reddish cap, purple brown spore sprint, grow in clusters from woods and then run a google

search.

And I won't be surprised if I find the answer within the first couple of tries.

This third guy is absolutely a big surprise.

From afar, I thought that was yet another cluster of brick caps, somewhat discolored

though.

However, my wife, who is more sensible to colors, insisted that she saw some yellowish

hue so her guesses were the jack-o'-lantern or the pholitoa mushroom.

When we got closer and got a better look at the caps and the structure, we became increasingly

uncertain.

They indeed look alike pholitoas, but the cap is smooth and without scales.

So we eliminate that possibility right away.

They resemble jack-o-lantern a lot too, except for two things: first, the cap color is too

yellowish, but jack-o-lantern is on the orangish side.

And second, the mushroom grows too neat and too small.

Mature jack-o-lanterns tend to go wild: they can be very large and tend to have wavy margins.

Nevertheless, these two differences ain't enough, because both could well be affected

by natural forces.

But soon enough, we found the third and the most significant clue when we check the under

cap.

If you're not familiar with the jack-o-lantern, this is how it

looks like.

And this, is our sample.

See the difference here?

Correct, the jack o' lantern has decurrent gills running down the stems.

Whereas for this unknown guy, the gills are somewhere between attached and free.

The top part is kinda attached to the stem and the bottom part is free from the stem.

Natural forces can't change the pattern of gills, so they can't be the jack-o-lantern.

Also, see this?

This is a ring zone, which indicates the existence of a frail partial veil.

Some partial veil can be quite sturdy and leave a full ring on the mushroom's stem.

and some partial veil are quite delicate and easy to fall off, leaving only remnants on

the stem which then captures the spores and forms a band on the stem.

Remember, the jack-o'-lantern will never have a ring or ring zone.

Its stem is bare.

Besides, here, you see the mushroom has already kinda made a spore print on the cap of another

mushroom.

It takes on an orangish-brown color, whereas jack o lantern's spore print is pale yellow.

So, yellow convex cap, attached gills, ring zone, growing from dead wood, with these key

words I search on google, but the results include everything ranging from brick caps

to honeys to jack o lanterns and to pholiotas.

Nothing really looks like our sample.

Indeed, there are just Too many mushrooms that fit the description.

So the original key words have to be refined.

First you need to take off some too general description, such as growing from dead wood.

Then, add the spore print color, because this information can get you to, or at least closer

to the right genus.

As for how to do a spore print, just place a fresh specimen on a piece of white paper

and wait for two to three hours.

Thirdly, if you can think of any lookalikes, definitely include that in you search because

other people may think the same and include this information in their image descriptions.

So, I use jack-o'-lantern lookalike, ring zone, brown spore print as the new combination,

and I find a close-enough image with this latin name: Gymnopilus junonius, which is

used to be called Gymnopilus spectabilis.

Common name: Big laughing Gym.

This mushroom is both psychoactive and poisonous.

The two are not the same thing.

It means this mushroom can get you sick, physically, beyond causing hallucinations.

Also, now you see why it is called the big laughing Jim not laughing Tom.

Gym, is short for Gymnopilus, which is the genus. and junonius is the species.

Laughing, of course, refers to its psychoactive properties.

Now we find the Gymnopilus junonius, but the identification doesn't end here.

The question that follows is, how do I know what I got is indeed the junonius speices,

not some sister species?

You know that under a genus there are multiple species.

These species can look amazingly like, as the American Caesar's and many other species

in the Amanita genus.

Or, these species can differ greatly in terms of size, color, and edibility.

A case in point would be the edible brick cap and the poisonous sulphur tuft that we

just discussed.

If you are a mushroom lover, or, if you collect for the pot, you probably wouldn't and shouldn't

stop at the genus.

You want to know which particular species you are dealing with.

Let's check what species the Gymnopilus genus has.

See the link at the bottom of the page?

Click on it, and you got a whole list of Gymnopilus mushrooms, and with just a brief browse I

find several species that could be justifiably called big laughing Gym or at least, big Gym.

See, deciding on the Genus is easy, but getting into species is much tricker.

Sometimes a microscopic examination, if not a DNA test, is required.

But this is not to say macro-level observations and judgement are totally futile.

After reading the description on wiki and Googling the images based on the Latin name

I got, I start to think my sample is not the Gymnopilus junoius, which seems to be significantly

darker and heftier.

wiki points to another possibility: Gymnopilus ventricosus.

This latter species is said often mistaken for the junonius, but, it contains no psilocybin

therefore is not psychoactive.

The pictures of Gymopilus ventricosus look about right.

but this species grows in pacific northwest and on conifer wood.

Well, I live in the East, and I am sure I found them on a hard wood.

So it couldn't be the ventricosus.

After more research, mainly on Michael Kuo's mushroom expert website, my favorite mushroom

website by the way, I came to this species: Gymnopilus luteus.

Dr. Kuo writes: "It is limited to the hardwood forest and of eastern North America, and features

yellow colors as well as a slender stem."

Now everything lines up.

Except for one last thing: wiki mentions this species stains green where bruised.

Well, if there was green color changing going on a yellow mushroom, I probably would

notice it.

Dr. Kuo says it staining brown.

Could be.

But definitely not immediately like within 30 seconds nor that obvious.

With time, a lot of mushroom gets darker where injured, and I am not sure if it is accurate

to call that a bruise.

Anyway, I am not going to be too obsessed with this criterion.

After all, not every source mentions the bruise effect and at least most of these google images

under Gymnopilus luteus look just like my sample.

I can't speak with absolute certainty because this is my very first time seeing this mushroom

and I am not familiar with the rest species from the same genus.

But there's a pretty good chance that this one is a Gymnopilus luteus.

Unlike the Gymnopilus junoius that is both psychoactive and poisonous, and the Gymnopilus

ventricosus which is not psychoactive, Gymnopilus luteus is Psychoactive but Not poisonous,

although I doubt anyone would want to eat it because it is absolutely very bitter.

So it's a quite interesting mushroom to know and I wish I found it earlier so I can

put it in the jack-o-lantern video and compare the two.

Chanterelles, honeys and ringless honeys all resemble the poisonous jack-o-lantern but

they pale next to this big laugh gym, which I think is almost a spitting image of the

jack o lantern, until you flip the cap.

But it's never too late.

And I'll generalize the similarities and differences of the two.

Similarities include: both can take on a brownish color especially when they are old, and both

grow in clusters from wood.

Some main differences are: the jack o-lantern has decurrent gills and a bare stem, and the

big laughing gym has attached gills and a ring zone on the stem.

The Jack o-lantern yields a very pale yellow spore print wheres the print of the big laughing

gym is orangish brown.

Also, the jack-o-lantern is on the orangish side, and this big laughing gym is more yellowish

and have light yellow flesh.

Lastly, the Gym has a hollow stem whereas that of jack o lantern, solid.

Okay so, this is how I identify unknown mushrooms.

I am that kind of person who prefers reading maps to asking people for directions.

And google and some other good mushroom websites are my maps.

If this method is not your type and you feel more comfortable consulting an expert, definitely

do that.

But google is always by your side and responsive, and usually you'll find a whole lot more

information from it, if you ask the right questions.

Oaky, thanks for watching, and see you next time.

"For Sale or For Parts" - Lori's resurrected 1948 Ford F1 truck | Why I Drive - Ep. 12 - Duration: 2:57.

- [Lori] I came across the truck in the swap meet section

at a car show, and it just looked really sad

and forgotten and mismatched.

But there was just something about it that spoke to me.

It's kinda like I didn't feel like I had a choice.

I had to rescue this truck.

Life isn't perfect. I'm not perfect.

Why should my truck be perfect?

And the fact that you can see this truck's history

in the body of it.

I didn't want something that was perfect.

It had layers and layers of paint and Bondo on it.

So I knew that needed to come off.

But I didn't want to do a shiny, crazy show truck.

(upbeat country music)

I've always been attracted to raw materials.

I love the air string trailers, I like the aluminum tank

on a V-Rod, my motorcycle is a chrome tank.

And when I started stripping down the Bondo

and getting down to the steel on the truck,

I knew that was the way I wanted to go with it.

(truck engine roars)

When you're driving a 70 year old vehicle,

you have to think about everything.

I have to watch for temperature gauge.

I have to keep a safe traveling distance,

'cause the drum brakes are not gonna stop

the way modern brakes are.

Every moment you're behind the wheel,

you're thinking about connecting with the road

and you're connecting with the vehicle.

It's a great kind of escape.

I get out and I drive that truck because I'm focused

on driving and experiencing the world around.

I've got the windows down, the air is blowing in,

the cadence of the flathead.

It soothes me and it helps me think.

(upbeat country music)

My favorite driving scenario is getting up early,

right around the time the sun's coming up,

getting on the road with no other cars,

starting the slow cruise up the hill

with the sun kissing the Joshua trees.

And gradually pushing it a little harder

and a little harder, and just feeling that rumble

and the sensation of being on the road,

and just being connected with the truck,

and connected with this experience of driving.

And that's what it is when you drive a classic.

It's an experience, it's an adventure.

It's not just a means of transportation.

But to me, this truck is a friend.

And through the process

of bringing this truck back to life,

I became so bonded to this truck,

and it would just feel wrong to me to correct

some of the things that aren't perfect about the truck.

I'm a lover of history, I'm a lover of story.

And when you get behind the wheel of an old vehicle

like my truck, you know that there are stories embedded

in every part of this vehicle.

(upbeat country music)

My name is Lori Bentley-Law and this is why I drive.

THANKSGIVING IN PARIS - Duration: 12:30.

Hi everyone and welcome to this new video

We're here today, not from the States

because we're in Paris

where we live

If you don't know us, Andrea who's here

is American, and I'm French

We met in the States

where we lived for a few years

we now live in Paris

and as you saw in the title

It's Thanksgiving, or it was Thanksgiving

But because it was a weekday we're celebrating it tomorrow on Saturday

So you're going to follow us on our adventure of Thanksgiving in Paris ! Let's go !

So the first step, is to take out the decoration

we're not putting up a Christmas tree this year because we're celebrating Christmas in the States

but we'll decorate the windows

let's face the cold

to decorate

we're going to set up the Christmas tree garlands

with some lights

and some ornaments on both windows

Now we're preparing for tomorrow

because there are many things to do

so we're in charge of the turkey,

we cheated a little bit, because we ordered the turkey at the butcher

Because our oven wouldn't be big enough

so they going to cook it for us

you'll see it's delicious

what else do we do?

What do we do ?

We're preparing the sweet potatoes

for the mashed sweet potatoes

I couldn't find cranberries this year, I got morello cherries

we'll improvise but it's going to be very very good

and here, we're roasting

we're baking the pumpkin

to make a pumpkin pie

I'm also going to make cornbread muffins

what else are we making?

Did you buy the...?

corn bread?

and mulled wine

then we'll just have to move everything to set up the big table

So Yoann, what are you doing ?

I'm making the cranberry sauce

with morello cherries

I put some sugar, wine, I'm going to bring it to a boil with a cinnamon stick

when it's boiling and the sugar has dissolved

I'll add the morello cherries

to cook them and make them pop

then you put it in the fridge and the next day you have a nice sauce

a little bit like jelly

and here we have the sous chef

making sure everything is going as planned

hello !

if you don't know him, his name is Jean-Baptiste

Hi Jean Baptiste

we're going to mash it and then add the spices

the cinnamon, the nutmeg, the ginger

the vanilla

it smells good

then we'll bake it in the oven

the sauce is cooling down

Andrea is making the mashed potato

we're progressing as planned

right?

I'm finishing the pumpkin pie

then the rest we'll happen tomorrow morning

cleaning up, decorating,

and... Thanksgiving

Hi everyone

It's Thanksgiving day !

I did the sauce yesterday as you saw

but it's too liquid

so I'm trying to save it

because we already did a lot yesterday,

I'm going to show you in the fridge

we have here my pumpkin pie

Cassie's

Andrea's mashed sweet potatoes

Usually for Thanksgiving, everybody brings something

Because we're hosting, we're taking care of the turkey

of a few things

but some friends will bring

brussel sprouts, some wine

green beans casserole

many things

everybody brings something

and it's a friendly atmosphere of Thanksgiving

and we'll try to save the sauce

it should be a little bit more jelly-like

Let's move everything in the living room

to set up

oh and by the way, I wanted to show you

I successfully did the sauce !

it's going to be so good

that's what we call, a big table !

what we did when we were in the States last year for Christmas

by the way you can watch the video when we bought

our Thanksgiving plates

because when a holiday is over in the States

the day after they have big sales

so when we were in the States for Christmas, Thanksgiving was over and they had good sales

on plates, napkins etc.

so we bought them last year

so it's a piece of advice, if you go to the States, buy things after the holidays, you'll find things on sales

we have our paper plates, for dessert,

for the meal

with thanksgiving decoration

and we also have napkins

we'll see which one we'll use

we'll have enough

and the table cloth is almost ironed

the good mulled wine

with all the spices

what are you doing?

I'm making corn bread muffins

it's savory

what is it inside?

cornmeal

flour, sugar

oil

salt

and some milk

and one egg

we'll bake them in the oven, and we'll have them with the meal

and now, in the oven

20 minutes

so...What do we have here?

we'll see if they are done

it's going to be so so good

Let's go to pick up the big turkey

we ordered it and the butcher cooked it for us

so now we're picking it up

are you excited coco?

I am !

let's go !

here we go ! We have the turkey,

and the sauce !

the turkey is about 13lbs

I think we'll have enough

And there is a line !

Cassie having her 4th plate

4th ? No !!

Are you kidding? The 2nd one

Is it good?

Of course!

it's so good

it's like at home

Still hungry Emma?

Not now but...

we have to try everything

no waste!

Обзор пылесосов Bosch Easyy'y с контейнером для пыли (COMFY) - Duration: 4:20.

I often when vacuuming I am faced with a problem:

At first, the vacuum cleaner is great cleans, but after two rooms

his suction power not the same

Have to disassemble and guess: the point is fullness

bag or dirty filter.

But there are devices that are transparent. always dust bags

in sight.

Moreover, they will give know when it is necessary

clean the filter.

Today I will tell right away about three such device line

Easyy'y from Bosch.

All three devices are different. body color, a complete set

and power consumption.

By the way, she has these models 2000, 2400 and 2500 watts.

Brushed 10 times in the same place

don't have to.

But because of the powerful engines, devices quiet operation

can not boast.

Their noise level is 81-86 dB.

As for me, not critical, if we consider that we use

vacuuming not every day.

The rest of the design, containers, they have the same cleaning system,

so everything in detail I will tell on the example of the model

with the least power.

The device looks stylish, special attraction

adds rich color enclosures.

Plastic quality and assembly - all at a decent level.

Cleaning with him comfortable due to compactness, ease

and maneuverability of the device.

Yes, and in the management of nothing difficult, then cope

even a baby.

On the case of the power key and power control.

Winding cord is automatic.

All trash and dust is collected. in a container that represents

from a plastic flask 1.4 liters His head

enough for a few cleanups without cleaning.

It is made in such a way to air when passing

through the container, twisted in a spiral and trash pushed out

to the walls of the flask.

True, as it accumulates in a container

suction power may fall.

Therefore timely cleaning the tank is important too.

In such dust collectors it is convenient what is always visible them

degree of filling and no extra needs

buy supplies.

Plus, from the container you can easy to get things

who hit the vacuum cleaner by mistake, for example, lost

ring.

Moreover, in the device there are special built-in

sensors that are continuous control the air flow

and when lowering it more than 10%, the indicator on the regulator

glows red it's meaning you need to clean

filter.

Called technology Smart Sensor Control.

And now I will tell about the system cleaning the exhaust air.

Here the HEPA filter is responsible for this.

As is known, its effectiveness measured in ability

hold up the tiniest garbage, whether it's dust or

plant pollen.

And the higher the number, the it is better.

For example, HEPA-10 may delay up to 85% of microparticles.

But the filter class 13, as in this device is delaying

up to 99 and 95 hundredths percent debris particles.

Plus, by necessity it can be washed with water

but before installing in a vacuum cleaner Be sure to dry.

As for the arsenal of accessories, there will be enough of them here

cleaning the house and dry cleaning the car.

Nozzles in kit floor carpet, crevice and furniture.

Plus to this model with power 2400 watts included turbo brush.

She with a shaft on which bristles are located.

They are designed to collect trash like hair, wool

Pets Spins roller due to powerful flow

of air.

All accessories for vacuum cleaners easy to remove and clean.

Well, let's summarize all that has been said.

Three attractive device design.

They are of different capacities, but everything is perfectly cleaned like

and smooth parquet so and upholstered furniture and wool

animals from the carpet.

At dust collectors in the form Container many advantages:

reliability, practicality and convenience.

With the management of these vacuum cleaners even a child can handle

and considering them small dimensions, the process itself is not

will be difficult.

And of course, happy reasonable price.

Write in the comments, what vacuum cleaners do you give

Preference for you: with dust bag or with a container.

КОНКУРС + обзор наушников Anker SoundСore Space NC: стоит ли брать? ▶️ (COMFY) - Duration: 6:01.

Hello!

We continue to learn that interesting releases

ANKER.

In one of the past videos I talked about the portable

acoustics from this brand and today we will listen to wireless

headphones - Soundcore Space NC.

According to the manufacturer, here is one of the best systems

active noise cancellation that is, even without music,

just put on your headphones turn on the button and sounds

around disappear.

Or at least become much quieter.

Well, let's check how the noise works in reality

Does it strongly affect quality sound, and then tell

how to win these headphones.

But first, let's quickly let's go in appearance

and then to my impressions.

Space NC comes together with a cool case.

Here we have our own headphones, There is a Micro USB for charging and

cable for wired mode.

You can listen to music and bluetooth and old fashioned.

The design of the model is folding: cups gather inside

and turn aside user

Due to this large full-size headphones are getting pretty

compact, they are no problem fit into a woman's bag

eg.

On the look and feel mounting cups are durable but check

I do not advise this, nevertheless there is plastic, not metal.

Good for a week of use I did not have such that

would they fly by accident from the head.

They have a comfortable fit with a good clamp, you can

even run, if the dimensions Do not confuse.

Soft materials in general do not press, especially ear cushions,

where the ears fall completely.

For this, I love the full size format - put on and forget.

If you miss the microphones, which several

pieces, elements on the body Little.

On the left is a noise canceling switch and on the right - the power button

and receiving a call as well a pair of ports.

Still on this side the sensory control.

And with him I got unpleasant first impressions.

The thing is, I'm used to take off your headphones like that

completely touching the cups.

And with these ANKER, it does not pass.

You always play randomly then you pause

when you just correct landing or even track

will switch.

It seems to be nothing, but when listen to the hour and a half

Seth, you're already somewhere in the middle and then accidentally turn on

following.

You need to get the phone look again that place

in general, the whole thing.

But then, somewhere in a day, unlearn a cup

and finally able to appreciate convenience of touch control.

It really is better than blindly look for buttons:

need to change the volume - you swipe up and down,

switch the track back and forth pause or make

"Play" - press.

In general, after a week of this use made

the conclusion that the buttons are satisfied, the main thing is to wean yourself to press

palm to cups.

Now sound.

From the first seconds, he told me completely liked: the width of the range

clean and loud.

Balanced sound it is quite high

and to the best of low frequencies, so there is no desire to open

equalizer.

Everything is very good Not only as for bluetooth

headphones, but also in the background cool wire options

whom I have not listened to few.

And the coolest thing is that everything it hardly changes after

enable noise cancellation

Let's take it in order.

To simulate noise, I turned on music on the column sat

opposite and just put on headphones off.

Due to a good clamp and closed construction

cups they are even so nice drowned out the music.

Then she turned on the switch, a barely audible white appeared

noise ... and half the volume just gone.

Not a little bit, but half right, maybe even 60 percent.

It is impressive.

Then I turned on the music already in the headphones.

Now you can hear that sound slightly cut high

frequencies and at the same time noticeably added bass.

High volume speakers even began to vibrate,

which is not always comfortable.

Opened the equalizer, twisted a little low added high

and the sound came back almost to the initial state.

In the end, Anker did very cool noise reduction

which minimally affects to music.

With him you can almost close pull over to loud speakers

and hear nothing but sound from headphones.

About metro and street noise, for example, Generally speaking, it makes no sense.

On the other hand should remind and about security

because sometimes it's important to hear what happens around.

So use this cool feature wisely.

Like a Soundcore Space Headset NC is not so outstanding.

Yes, you can hear it normally and several microphones are good too

remove noise but quality voice transmission average.

There is one more significant moment for wireless

ears - autonomy.

Official specifications talking about 20 hours in wireless

mode and 50 wired, with active shumodava.

Depending on the volume I did it plus or minus

same hours.

For the whole week I was charging them only once and then

not because they sat down, but for smartphone company

which then tested.

So, what conclusions did I draw after a week of use

these headphones?

Space NC has three main plus: sound quality excellent

active noise cancellation system and that these two points

almost no affect friend on friend.

The toggle switch is minimal distorts the sound that

easy to adjust EQ.

At the same time you are guaranteed will not prevent surrounding

noise.

You can still remember about complete case, foldable

comfortable construction Landing and battery life.

In general, if you need wireless, full size headphones

with great sound quality and soundproofed then listed

candidates are required must be ANKER Soundcore Space

NC.

Now how can you win them?

All you need is to go to our blog on the link and execute

a couple of simple steps which are described there ...

Write whether you liked you and these headphones

Like if the video was useful.

Also subscribe and turn on the bell we often

We touch the theme of sound.

For example, recently studied JBL bluetooth headset and sorted out

in portable speakers Sony.

Bye!

How To Use Steamer To Iron Clothes - Duration: 4:44.

Welcome back. Today, we're going to be talking about how to use a steamer to

iron clothes. We're going to show you how.

Alright. So, I have actually never done this. I've never used the steamer. -Okay,

Eugenia tells me... Well that's pretty straightforward. But for me it's like, "But

I've never done it." I would want to see it demonstrated. -Okay. -So, this we've got a

steamer here and we just turn on the button. -This is a stand-up steamer. There

are a couple different steamers out there. There's a stand-up kind which is

what we have right here. And there's also the portable ones which I also have a

little guy that I take traveling and they're very nice and good and that's

affordable to get. You can even just get them sometimes in those little kiosks at

the mall or they're all over the internet. -What would it what would it look like

compared to... -Mine, actually looks like a little iron, right? And so, just pretend

this is the iron and it's about this big and you just kind of go like this with the steam. -So

how's it... -it does have a cord, yes. If I'm not mistaken. I haven't used

it in a while because I usually either... I either use the iron on the hotel

rooms or yeah the iron or I don't take things that wrinkled very much. -So here's

a question then. -I'm a very good Packer. -What's the advantage of a steamer versus

an iron? -The iron creases better. If you want a better job crisp crease

then you use the iron. But I know that a lot of people think that the ironing

board and the iron are enemies. So, this is better than nothing and this is super

super fast. It is quicker. And you know what? It's sitting there, you don't have

to get out the ironing board plug in the iron... So... -This shirt has

like a little... -It's already steaming. So... Excuse me, Nate. We're going to go around

here. And it's really, really, easy. One thing I don't recommend. Believe it...

Believe it or not, people actually do this. They are wearing the items and then

they steam it on themselves. That's a big no-no. It will burn you and I've had

people come say that. I'm like, "What?" So, yeah. Hang the item here. Grab it

with one hand. So, pull it. Or you can just do this. But I like to hold it and just

go up and down like so. I mean, I can already feel the steam. It's kind of hot.

So, you might want to move accordingly. But if you go up and down, you can

already start seeing the wrinkles here disappearing. And you just move. We

just go all the way. -That's simple enough. -...down. Simple enough. But it will not be as

crisp as an iron. But for a quick result, this is... This is great.

In fact, department stores and clothing stores, this is exactly what they have.

They use this steamer. So... -Nice. Alright. Well, there you have it. This is how you

use a steamer to iron your clothes. Technically, its steam your clothes. Steam

your clothes. After you finish that episode, I had some more questions. We

thought, you know what? There's some more info that we should put in this video. So

on one of the trips that I went on, I took a blazer and the sleeve of it got

wrinkled. And I tried to figure out how to iron it in the hotel room but I

didn't want to put a crease in it so I couldn't really figure out what to do. -So

so a couple of things you need to be careful of is you never want to put the

iron directly... Direct with the material just in case. Depending on, I call it, "The

ingredients." Depending on what the material is made of. So read the tag. But

just to be safe, put a towel over. A thin towel and then iron. Or you know, adjust

the settings according to it but be careful. And a lot of people don't want

to haul around a steamer with them even the little portable ones or they forget.

So an iron... -It sounds like in that case, a steamer would have been pretty,

better or easier choice. -Either one. I mean, it's really fine. You still have

to put water in the steamer. It may be a little bit easier,

yes. But it's really not that big of a deal. Come on. You should always have

your clothes pressed. You don't want to look like that...

This looks great. You don't want to look like you just walked out of... Rolled out of

bed. Use your steamer or invest in one. -Make

sure that you subscribe to this channel. If you want to see some more amazing

videos with Eugenia, we're actually filming several of them. So stay tuned.

One day in Northern Hungary | The biggest park and chairlifts by the hills (with English captions) - Duration: 6:18.

- Wow, it's thrilling! - Really? Are you excited?

- Wait! Get ready! It's coming!

And how we should...

Let's sit!

On the second day of our Northern Hungarian trip, we got a nice sunny autumn weather,

while we're driving from the Zemplén Hills to Sátoraljaújhely.

15 kilometres from the city, 120 years old pines show us that it's an extraordinary land.

The Károlyi Chateau of Füzérradvány has a unique English park,

which is the biggest and most beautiful park in the county.

This 300 years old maple leaf plane tree is the oldest one among the giant old trees.

And it doesn't matter how tempting its branches are, unfortunately we are not allowed to climb them.

But it's also a unique sight so to see how this white bark and the green leave glitter in the autumn sunshine.

In this 140 hectare park there are several trees, which are also older than 200 years,

and besides the green fields we find brooks and lakes, too.

We can walk around them on pebbly paths.

And then have a rest on one of the small wooden bridges.

There's an interesting symbiosis between the plants living here.

For instance here you can see how this huge plane tree uses the other tree next to it as a crutch,

while during the years they merged at the contact point.

Here you can see how that more than ten-meter long branch of the plane tree

is supported by its neighbour, while their yellow leaves are still provide nice shade on the ground.

But besides the huge plane trees we find giant pines here, too,

standing in smaller and bigger groups in the park.

And they are the ones who say goodbye by the road,

when we leave this English park to go up above the Zemplén Mountain by chairlift.

- Check out the bob! Check out the bob!

- We deluded the system! - Yep!

They said, we could only buy tickets for the chairlift or the bob track at the same time.

But we pretended to be strangers and bought two tickets for both of them.

So we're really cool.

Please, slap more gently the next time, otherwise I will fall down.

In the Zemplén Adventure Park in Sátoraljaújhely we can take the longest chairlift in Hungary

to get to the top of Magas hill, which is around 500 meters high above the sea level.

It's more than 1km long and there are nearly 100 chairs hanging on,

so in the rush hour almost 200 passengers can take it in the same time, up or down.

The chairlift runs along with the bob track for a while.

Down there you can see the rails on which they pull the bobsleighs up to the starting point,

Then leaving the middle station only the chairlift keeps on emerging until we reach the top of the mountain.

At the upper station we can jump out to the ground.

On the top of Magas hill we find a tower with an amazing view

to the Zemplén Mountains, the River Bodrog and even to Slovakia.

Even more, we can slide to the other hill with an 80 km/h speed.

This 1036 meters long ropeway is simply called the "Hawk".

But now we skip this extreme adventure, and we take the chairlift again, instead, to get down to the bob track.

Here at this so-called middle station we could get in or out, if we want it,

but now we stay in the chair and descend to the lower station where we can change to the bob.

Down there on the left you can see the upper station of the bob track, where the sliding starts,

but now we're going down, first.

Down there you can see the bobsleighs coming up the hill, and the small house where we can get on board.

And a little bit further, there's the big turning wheel, which drives the elevator.

- What is the secret of getting off well?

- We run!

That way, where the arrow shows us!

- Our legs are off.

Should we turn it up for ourselves?

- No, I think he will help us.

- I turn it up!

- Thank you! - Thank you!

- Wait, I go that way!

- And in two directions!

- Almost!

Who screwed it up again? Me!

- Never mind!

- How could I go the other direction?

We stop for a second at the bottom of the chairlift and then we jump into the bobsleigh and slide.

- It was very scary!

If you are interested about our slide,

U.S. States Where You Are Likely To Encounter a Serial Killer - Duration: 10:09.

Welcome back strangers.

Sometimes when we are making a new video I get super creeped out thinking about what

are the chances that I will experience something like the topic we are covering.

Many of us are so fortunate that we will never be able to fully understand some of the horrendous

thing's others have gone through, but what are the chances it will happen to you.

What if someone is already stalking you, watching and learning your daily routine.

Preparing to sneak into your house when you aren't home and wait for you or maybe comeback

later through a window they unlocked so they can surprise you while you are sleeping at

night.

Today we are going to discuss the top 5 states in America where you are most likely to encounter

a serial killer based on serial killings per provided by the FBI.

The last is my favorite state I have visited, and I would have never expected to be number

one on this list.

Over 20% of the documented serial killers in the world have come from a 200-mile radius

around Seattle Washington.

Many large metropolitan areas have had at least one serial killer, but Seattle has had

dozens.

There has been a total of 277 serial killers in Washington with an average number of serial

killings of 7.44 per 1 million people in the charming northwestern state.

Notable killers include: Gary Ridgway, The Green River Killer who terrorized the state

for over 20 years mainly targeting women.

Gary was convicted of 48 murders and is currently serving life in a Washington State prison,

but he claims to have killed at least twice as many victims.

Ted Bundy was a former University of Washington student who confessed to murdering 30 young

women in Washington, Oregon, California, Utah, and Florida.

Ted reportedly began killing in 1971 in Seattle, but he also claimed he killed two women in

Atlantic City in 1969 before beginning his spree of murders, kidnappings, and rapes.

Finally, Westley Allan Dodd who is known as one of the evilest killers in history sexually

assaulted as many as 175 children along with killing a 10-year-old, 11-year-old, and a

4-year-old over the course of 15 years.

His last words were, "I was once asked by somebody, I don't remember who, if there

was any way sex offenders could be stopped.

I said no…..I was wrong."

In 1993, he was the first legal hanging in the United States since 1965.

If that didn't make you rethink living the dream in Washington at least reconsider owning

a cat.

Since September of this year, there have been 13 cats murdered by a serial cat killer in

Washington State…

To many the idea of living in California makes them think of living a laid back, low stress

life in the sunshine and surf or maybe chasing dreams of stardom in Hollywood.

Yet, many of the country's most infamous serial killers have called the state home.

Over 1,500 California residents have been murdered by serial killers since 1900.

The killings peaked between the 1960's and 1980's and have finally slowed in recent

years.

Today, the average number of serial killings stands at roughly 7.81 deaths per 1 million

California residents.

During the 1980's California was responsible for over 20% of all serial killer murders,

and overall California has the second highest number of serial killers in the country.

Notable ones include: The notorious Golden State Killer, Stalker is believed to have

murdered 12 people, committed 45 sexual assaults, and robbed 120 residences from 1976 to 1986

before quietly ending his decade of terror.

He was fortunately arrested earlier this year and we covered it with Pink Spooky on our

weekly livestream podcast you should go check out.

During the 1980's, The Night Stalker Richard Ramirez raped and tortured at least 25 victims.

Thirteen of which he murdered when he was finished with them in Los Angeles and San

Francisco.

Richard was sentenced to death but died of lymphoma in prison in 2013.

The Zodiac Killer is one of the most prolific serial killers in American history that has

not been caught.

He terrorized northern California in the late 1960's and killed at least 5 victims and

injured 2 others.

He claimed to have killed at least 37 people in his letters to the police and press.

He typically targeted young couples that he would either shoot or stab to death.

The Zodiac's correspondences stopped in 1974, but some are still hopeful that his

identity will be discovered decades later similarly to the Golden State Killer case.

Recently in 2016 police arrested a suspect in the San Diego homeless killer case, and

currently there is the possibility of an active serial killer in North East Los Angeles.

Florida may be one of the best places to retire in the country, but it is also a hot bed for

serial predators with an average of 9.92 serial killings for every million residents.

The sunshine state also has the third highest number of confirmed serial killers.

Though the killings peaked in the 1980's there may be more truth behind the TV show

Dexter than many want to admit.

Notable killers include: Aileen Wuornos who murdered seven men in Florida between 1989

and 1990 by shooting them at point blank range.

She claimed her victims raped her while was working as a prostitute.

She was sentenced to death and was executed by lethal injection in 2002.

The Flat Tire Murderer killed five young women and teenage girls in South Florida between

February 1975 to July of that year.

It is believed the killer would deflate the victim's tires and gain there trust by offering

to help them.

The killer has never been identified or apprehended.

Gerard John Schaefer Jr. was dubbed the "Killer Cop," because he was convicted of committing

two murders while on patrol as a Sheriff's deputy in Martin County, Florida.

He is suspected to have committed many other murders, but no other victims have been confirmed.

The Killer Cop boasted that he killed over 30 women and girls during his time as a Sheriff's

deputy.

He was stabbed to death in prison by a fellow inmate in 1995.

On November 28, 2017 police arrested Howell Emanuel Donaldson III who is believed to be

the Seminole Heights serial killer who shot and murdered four people in Tampa Florida

between October and November of 2017.

The flashy neon lights and massive hotels in Las Vegas were originally built on blood

money provided by the mafia.

Before 1950, there were only two victims documented victims of serial killers in Nevada until

the gambling boom in Vegas and Reno.

Violent crime exploded in the desert state.

Currently Nevada has the second highest amount of violent crime in the country with an average

of 12.19 serial killings for every million residents.

The high number of tourists visiting Las Vegas, prostitutes, and desperate individuals down

on their luck create the ideal pool of victims for a serial killer waiting for another body

to leave behind in the Nevada desert.

Notable killers include: Neal Falls was who was shot and killed by an escort in Charleston,

West Virginia in 2015.

Police have linked him to at least 8 murders and potentially 4 more.

He has been linked to dismembered bodies found outside of Las Vegas and may have killed more

when he worked in Nevada at the Hoover Dam.

For years authorities have been trying to find links between the numerous bodies found

along side Interstate 80 that runs through Nevada.

Today, there is no definite proof that an I-80 killer exists, but bodies keep being

found along the highway.

There has also been a serial shooter that has been targeting homeless people in Las

Vegas with at least 4 confirmed victims this year.

In October, 68 year old Nathan Burke plead guilty to two murders from a killing spree

that took place over 40 years ago that killed at least 5 women in Sin City.

Alaska is often marketed to tourists as the final frontier on earth, but it is also one

of the most violent places in the country with an average of 15.65 serial killings for

every million residents.

The state's isolation and rugged wilderness make it easy to commit disturbing acts of

violence and murder without getting caught.

No one can save you if there is no one around to hear you scream.

Alaska is gorgeous and a popular tourist destination, but it also has a long history of attracting

wild men, degenerates, and criminals.

Notable serial killers include: Robert Hansen, the Butcher Baker, who was a loving father,

successful baker, businessman, and hunter.

Robert's hobbies included picking up prostitutes and exotic dancers in Anchorage.

He would take them in his private plane into the Alaskan wilderness where we would leave

them in the middle of nowhere only to comeback and hunt them down for sport.

He killed at least 17 women before 17-year-old Cindy Paulson managed to escape Robert before

she was forced on his plane.

She was able to tell her story to the police who were able to connect the missing women

in the area to Robert's activities.

He was sentenced to over 400 years in prison where he died in 2014.

Klutuk was the name given to an Eskimo who murdered fur trappers near the Kuskowim River

between 1919 and 1938.

He would kill anyone who encroached on his territory whether they were white or indigenous

people.

Klutuk would either shoot or kill his victims with an axe.

Those lucky enough to survive his attacks described him to be a small but fierce standing

around 5'4'' and weighing about 140 pounds.

In 1938, when the killings stopped, a body of an unknown hermit was found in a cabin

near the Kuskowin River that matched the description of Klutuk, but no one knows for certain if

that was truly him.

In 2007, Joshua Wade was arrested and confessed to murdering at least 5 people between 2000

and 2007 in Alaska.

In 2016, James Dale Ritchie shot and killed 5 people in Anchorage in less than a year,

before being killed by a police officer he shot at.

Alaska does sound like the wild west and the true last frontier on earth.

Would you still consider taking a trip to Alaska?

Hello everyone! With you Priprava Club, my name is Anastasia

And today I invite you to cook a great festive snack - pickled mushrooms

They prepare very quickly, and they are incredibly tasty.

Ingredients: • 600 g of champignons (preferably small size); • 60 ml of apple cider vinegar; • 90 ml of vegetable oil; • 1 tablespoon of honey; • 1-2 hot peppers to taste; • salt and to taste; • 2-3 sprigs of thyme; • 3 cloves of garlic; • parsley to taste.

Let's start with mushrooms

It is better to choose small champignons.

But if you get big mushrooms, just cut them in half

Pour 2 tablespoons of oil into the pan.

Add mushrooms

Fry the mushrooms on high heat, stirring occasionally for 5-6 minutes

Finely chop red pepper

If you want to make the mushrooms not very sharp, remove the seeds

Finely chop the garlic

Go to the marinade

I have the remaining oil in the skillet

Add apple vinegar

Add garlic and pepper

Add honey

You can add even candied honey

We will bring the marinade to a boil, so the honey will melt

Add salt and pepper to taste

Add thyme

Bring marinade to a boil and remove from heat.

While the marinade was being cooked, the mushrooms were fried

Put the mushrooms in the marinade

Mix thoroughly

Cover the saucepan with a lid and put it in a cold place until it cools completely.
