what's happening YouTube Matt here with YT growth today I'm gonna be
teaching you how to keep your channel on an upwards trend getting people more
interested in your content to keep them coming back for more and more and more
what's happening YouTube if you're new to my youtube channel and you're a new
creator wanting to get more views more subscribers and ultimately generate an
income online make sure you smash that subscription button and hit the
notification bell so you don't miss a single video I upload because I upload
videos all the time with helpful tips like this one okay so in this video
we're talking to you about a tool called vid IQ and that tool is completely free
it's a browser extension and it's really gonna up your YouTube game once you've
installed it you'll see four new tabs on the left-hand side of your YouTube
screen you've got competitors trend alerts most viewed and channel audit and
at the top they give you a quick overview of some of the analytics of
your channel so when you're watching YouTube videos or you're on another page
and you don't want to quickly switch over to analytics you can go to the top
and there you go you've got an overview and you can see what's working and it's
really really helpful but the point of this video is how you're going to get
your videos to trend and get people coming back for more and the way you're
going to find out how you do that is by going to the channel audit tab when you
click this screen it's going to come up with this lovely display showing you
loads of different information over the last 30 days now you can change the time
frame by default is set to 30 days if you want it on the last 60 and the last
90 you will have to upgrade to vid IQ boost but the main things we're going to
be looking at on the channel audit is how many views you get from certain
videos how many subscribers you get in and what the average watch time is so
views per hour we can see that these two videos are performing well for my
channel right now I'm getting 90 s per hour

thumbnails they can probably be improved there are
three videos that are getting the most views you've got how to t-series grow so
first get more views on YouTube with Facebook and again the thumbnails video
and then last but not least this is gonna show you four videos that are
gaining you the most subscribers and there were number one video gaining me
the most of squares at the moment is how to change your YouTube channel name and
that's gained me 41 subscribers in the last 30 days which equates to 12 per
1000 views so if you're looking at your channel and you wanting to get more
views every hour or increase the views as a total or simply just increase your
subscribers you're gonna need to look at these tabs here and see what's working
well for your channel already so in my case and the subscribers gain I'm going
to look at the how to change your YouTube channel name section and I wanna
see what it was I did to get people to subscribe maybe there was a strong
call-to-action or maybe the end screen was just really compelling and people
wanted to click through and subscribe so the key to YouTube's success here is
literally to find out what works on your channel and then just repeat it keep
using their channel audit because what works for you now may not work for you
in three months time so keep ship keep checking to see what's actually working
and then literally just capitalize on the things that are generating you the
most views and subscribers and watch time because that's going to get you
closer to becoming a YouTube partner and that's gonna earn you more revenue in
the future as well but just before you guys go I'd really like you to subscribe
