3 THINGS I KNOW TO BE TRUE - Duration: 5:09.

Well, because today is the first day of the year and

and it's a time for renewal,

time to do something new, I've decided to

do something quite different here on my channel,

so I'm in my closet...

Don't worry, I won't give you a tour of my closet,

but it's an intimate place to

talk about intimate subjects,

so today I'll answer the TAG that I

just created which is about

"3 things I know to be true" because I think

we often end up

sharing unimportant

things on social media,

so today I decided to share with

you three ideas that are important

to me and that I know to be true.

I hope you like it :)

Well, the first thing I know

to be true is that just like we

need to take a shower to clean

our body,

we also accumulate mental

dirt,

so we also need to clean up our

minds once in a while. And there are many

ways to do that, but one thing

that has been helping me a lot and that I think

works rather well

is meditation. I want to

make a more specific video about

meditation soon because I believe

meditation helps in all

aspects of life.

The second thing I know to be

true is that all of us live inside

a bubble.

Some live inside a very small

bubble, very tight, almost suffocating.

Others live inside a bigger

bubble, but all of us live

inside a bubble which is our immediate

reality. And this bubble ends up really

limiting us, limiting our way of

thinking, limiting our way of living,

so I believe that it's very

important to seek out situations and

seek out experiences that make us

get out of this bubble.

And, at least for me, two things that are

very effective and that make me burst this

bubble of mine is traveling and learning new

languages, that's why I talk a lot

about these topics here on my channel. But

there are many other ways as well,

such as reading books out of our area of

interest, out of the subjects we

usually read. And in doing that

we end up really widening...

our reality, widening the possibilities,

widening our horizon, so

this is my second truth.

The third thing I know to be true

is the material goods, things,

pants...flip flops, shoes, bags,

these things don't bring us happiness.

I think that after that first excitment

of having bought something new,

things really don't lead to happiness.

In order to compensate for our lack of

happiness or meaning, we often

consume way more than we should and that

doesn't lead us anywhere,

but I think that nowadays there are so many

messages of consumerism on social media,

especially on Instagram, on

YouTube that we often end up being

swallowed by them and end up going with

the flow without really thinking.

The fashion industry is one of the largest

polluter in the world. It's kind of

crazy the amount of things we

consume

and it's an appeal to our weakness of trying to find happiness

in material goods or wanting

luxury goods to look chic or to

belong to a certain group

and this...I know it doesn't bring happiness,

so this is the third thing I

would like to share with you and I think

it's kind of crazy, right?, that I have to say

this or that I'm saying this, but I

see so many...so many people seeking happiness in

material goods that I think it's important

to say it and to leave this out there.

Well guys, those were my 3 truths. If

Where we take a look at the meaning and the origin of your favorite memes and trends!!

Today we have a look at the 1000 Degree knife.

Now This is a topic that has recently become relevant on Youtube within the last couple

of weeks.

I've had a handful of people request a video on the topic so thank you all so very much

for reaching out and letting me know what you wanted to see next.

Although this video hasn't had as many requests as some of my previous videos, I myself find

this whole thing to be very interesting and wanted to dive into its impact a bit more.

You guys wanted it!

Now you have it!

Here We GO!!!

So what in the hell is the 1000 degree knife?

Well it's a 1000 degree knife.

if you've spent any amount of time on Youtube lately, it more than likely tried to stuff

one of the 1000 degree knife videos down your throat via the youtube suggested videos.

Now some people love these videos, finding them satisfying, entertaining and sometimes

educational

While other people really hate the videos and see them as mindless trash content that

only further displays some of the problems youtube has with it's algorithm.

Their problem with the algorithm is that it's unfair to have content like this come to the

top and be suggested to everybody, while other videos that have a lot more time and creativity

put into them have a harder time finding any audience at all.

So what's all the fuss about?

Well, The trend revolves around the Youtube Channel MrGear.

The videos that the channel uploads all follow the same theme.

A knife is heated until it reaches 1000 degrees, or until it is glowing red which means it's

pretty damn hot, after it's hot as hell it then cuts through various objects.

Always resulting in the same outcome which is oddly satisfying .

Now I can see why some people love these videos but I can also see why others are annoyed

that Youtube is pushing it so hard.

I know what you're thinking…just because youtube is pushing the videos people are mad?

It all sounds stupid and petty but the thing is…

Youtube is REALLY pushing the videos.Like pushing them so hard they may get a Hemorrhoid,

damn did I take it too far again?

My bad.

My bad!

Let me show you guys some mind blowing stats so you can better understand what Im talking

about.

In this last month of the channel has gained nearly 2 million Subscribers!

That is ridiculous!

It takes most channels years to obtain even half that amount, and the views within that

time frame are crazy as well.

If you take a look at the stats of the channel you can see just how successful it's become.

Bravo!

Bravo!

Seriously, I always applaud others being able to become successful, the videos obviously

appeal to somebody.

And You know that old saying, "Don't hate the player hate the game" oh my bad I meant

to say "Don't hate the playa hate the game" I forgot that you have to say playa

with an a instead of er for it to make sense.

so that's kinda the scenario that we find ourselves in.

The game in which people are hating is the game of Youtube which can make or break your

channel by the way it's algorithm works and the videos it suggests to viewers.

And boy oh boy has Youtube been suggesting these videos to viewers.

Because of all the hype surrounding the genre of video other youtubers have began to parody

the videos in humorous ways.

Becoming a type of challenge in

the process.

Oh but the fun doesn't stop there.

Because the 1000 degree knife videos have been so widely spread and suggested to everybody

and their mother, brother, sister and pet poodle, it has naturally began to be used

within memes Both photo and video based.

The photo based memes often portray the knife as being an ultimate weapon that can defeat

nearly all challengers, much like it does in the Mr. Gear videos.

While the video based versions of the meme are…you know what?

Let's let the examples do the talking.

"I'd like a glowing 1000 degree knife, about this high."

"Ok coming right up"

"Are you a real villain?"

So there you have it!

The 1000 degree knife started off as a controversial genre of video that Youtube has been stuffing

down people's throats and has began to evolve into memes that parody the amazing powers

the knife seems to have.

But Hey!

THE ECONOMY AND HOW PEOPLE VOTED AGAINST THE ESTABLISHMENT

CANDIDATES BECAUSE THEY WERE TIRED OF FEELING THE ECONOMIC

PRESSURES BY POLICIES THAT WERE NOT WORKING FOR THEM.

REPORTERS

AT THE ATLANTIC DECIDED TO GO TO SPECIFIC PARTS OF THE COUNTRY

WHERE THE ECONOMY IS ACTUALLY BOOMING AND IT DID A LOT BETTER

UNDER OBAMA'S ADMINISTRATION.

ONE OF THE PLACES I WENT TO WAS

ELKHART IN INDIANA.

THEY NOTICED A HUGE DIFFERENCE

FROM 2009 TO TODAY.

BUSINESS IS BOOMING.

THE ECONOMY IS DOING

WELL IN THIS PART OF INDIANA AND IT HAS A LOT TO DO WITH SOME OF

OBAMA'S POLICIES.

WHETHER IT BE WHAT HE DID WITH THE AUTO

INDUSTRY, THE STIMULUS PACKAGE, IT SEEMED TO HAVE SOME SORT OF

EFFECT.

DO THE VOTERS THERE SUPPORT OBAMA OR ARE AGAINST

HIM?

INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH A LOT OF THEM DESPISE OBAMA.

THE

EXACT OPPOSITE HAPPENED, HE HELPED YOU TREMENDOUSLY AND

HE DID NOT TAKE THE CREDIT.

RIGHT AFTER HE WON IN 2009 HE

WENT TO GIVE A SPEECH IN INDIANA.

IN JUNE HE WENT BACK TO

ELKHART AND IN HIS OWN SUPER SUBTLE WAY BRAGGED ABOUT HOW

GREAT THEY ARE DOING THERE.

HE SAVED THE AUTO INDUSTRY, THE

DIRECTLY SAVED YOUR JOBS IN ELKHART.

THAT MORON, GEORGE W.

BUSH, DESTROYED YOUR ECONOMY.

THAN OBAMA COMES IN AND SAVES

US, IT IS LITERAL AND WE HAVE A 3.9% ON HIM.

THE PROBLEM WITH

OBAMA IS HE DOES SUBTLE, AND THAT DOESN'T WORK IN POLITICS.

YOU HAVE TO BE A BABOON LIKE TRUMP.

THEY GIVE HIM CREDIT FOR CARRIER BECAUSE HE TAKES THE

CREDIT AND

DOES IT AGGRESSIVELY.

IF YOU LOOK INTO THE DETAILS IT IS

HARMFUL BECAUSE NOW CORPORATIONS CAN JUST SAY I'M GOING TO LEAVE

UNLESS THE GOVERNMENT GIVES ME MORE MONEY AND I WILL KEEP

MAYBE HALF THE JOBS HERE.

HALF OF WHAT HE DID IN CARRIER WAS A GOOD THING, HALF

OF IT WAS WHAT ANA SAID.

OBAMA CREATED 3000 JOBS A DAY ON HIS

WATCH.

THE CARRIER TO WAS ONLY 700 JOBS.

BUT OBAMA IS SO

SUBTLE.

IT IS ABOUT YOUR PRINCIPLES AND YOUR PARTY AND

FIGHTING FOR PROGRESSIVE POSITIONS.

YOU SHOULD GO THERE

AND SAY THERE ARE REPUBLICANS WHO ARE GOING TO TAKE YOUR JOBS.

THEN YOU DON'T GET CREDIT.

YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY INSIST ON WHAT

INFORMATION THAT GOES AGAINST THEIR PRECONCEIVED NOTIONS.

THEY

WANT INFORMATION THAT REINFORCES WHAT THEY ALREADY BELIEVE.

GOVERNMENT PROFESSOR TALKED ABOUT THIS.

TO BE CLEAR IT IS

NOT JUST REPUBLICANS, IT IS DEMOCRATS WHO FALL VICTIM TO

THIS TYPE OF THINKING.

I LOVE THIS STAT.

TO GIVE YOU A SENSE THAT DEMOCRATS ARE ALSO

PREDISPOSED TO THIS.

ACCORDING TO A GALLUP POLL, 35% BEFORE THE

ELECTION THOUGHT THE ECONOMY WAS GETTING WORSE.

BUT RIGHT AFTER

THE ELECTION, AFTER TRUMP ONE, 47% OF DEMOCRATS SAID IT IS

DEFINITELY GETTING WORSE.

A 12 POINT JUMP WHEN NOTHING IN THE

ECONOMY ACTUALLY CHANGED.

BUT BECAUSE TRUMP HAD ONE THEY WERE

LIKE OH I CAN TELL IT IS GETTING WORSE.

THAT IS CRAZY.

NO LET ME

GIVE YOU THE REPUBLICAN NUMBERS.

THINK ABOUT

HOW CRAZY THAT IS.

CONSERVATIVES ARE MORE OPEN TO MANIPULATION,

PROPAGANDA, AND MORE ADVERSE TO FACTS.

THAT IS EMBARRASSING FOR

DEMOCRATS, YOU OUGHT TO BE BETTER THAN THAT.

REPUBLICANS HAVE A 33 POINT DIFFERENCE.

WHAT I AM CURIOUS ABOUT IS IF TRENDS POLICIES PROVED TO GO THE

WAY WE PREDICT AND HE DESTROYS THE ECONOMY, AND PLACES LIKE

ELKHART REALLY SUFFER, WHO WILL THEY BLAME?

DO THEY BLAME OBAMA?

OR DO THEY FINALLY WAKE UP AFTER THEY FEEL IT IN THEIR POCKET

I HAVE THE ANSWER.

NOW WHY AM I OPTIMISTIC?

BECAUSE OF FACTS.

EVERY DAY OF TRUMP'S PRESIDENCY FROM THE BEGINNING OF 2002 TO

THE END.

PROGRESS IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER.

THEY ALL SAID

IT LIKE ROBOTS.

BY THE END HIS POPULARITY WAS IN THE 20S.

THAT POINT YOU COULDN'T FIND A BUSH VOTER.

Hey everyone it's James from fun foods and today i'm

gonna show you how to make this

strawberry mousse dessert it's super

easy and it tastes delicious

so keep watching and I'll show you

step-by-step how to make this for our

strawberry mousse you just won't start

with a large bowl and of course 1 cup of

heavy cream this is heavy whipping cream

whisk that up until it's nice and fluffy

and right when it starts to thicken up a

little bit sprinkling some sugar 1

tablespoon of sugar

when it's nice and thick then it's ready

to set this aside and will come back to

it shortly

now i have a cup of strawberries here

that I've already cleaned and prepared i

am just going to pour into my blender

here and blend them up and make a

strawberry puree also have one

tablespoon of sugar i want to add to

that

it didn't take long and they pureed nicely

now we're coming back to our heavy cream

that we whipped up into this nice

whipping cream and i'm going to take my

pureed i just made from one cup of

strawberries and pour it in there now

just take it and fold it through you

don't overmix it but you just want to

fold it through nice and gently

and when you have this nice even

consistent color all the way through

then you're ready so I have a cup here

everythings falling all over so I'm just gonna

pour my mousse in there

what i have here are these desert

glasses which are actually shot glasses

their 2 ounce shot glasses and they come

in different shapes and sizes and i'll

put a link in the description below in

case you want to get your hands on one

of those

yeah i like using them just because I

can take it to a party and then don't have to

worry about getting them again they can

just go get thrown out of the really

cheap so what I'm gonna do now is take

my strawberry mousse that we made and

put in a piping bag and I'm gonna fill

the bottom of this glass this desert

glass and I'm gonna feel about halfway

and stop and then after I fill it

I'm gonna take some strawberry puree

this is just some strawberry puree i pureed

up take some scoop out get a good amount

on there

you want a nice even layer

and then you on top it off with some

more strawberry mousse

and after you do that then I just have

some cool whip and i put in a piping bag

just to make it look more presentable

and I want to put a dab on there and we can

decorate it with a strawberry just like

that and that's how it looks and we do

that with the rest of these and now it's

not for the taste test which is always

the best time of every video I'm gonna

dig right in here and get a little bit

of pure a little bit of that moose

Alright, so let's see what comes inside

the box of the new Olympus Zuiko ED

30mm f/3.5 macro, remember this

is for micro four-thirds. Ok, first thing

you're going to see is your warranty

card and this is for the U.S. Of course

this is if it's purchased in the US and if

its purchased from an authorized dealer

like Digital Goja. And here is a nice

instruction pamphlet in multiple

languages that gives you some

information and very well packaged in

here even though it's a small lens they

want to make sure that it gets to you in

one piece.

Alright and there is, now let's take a

closer look and look at the features on

this lens.

Alright so let's take a closer look, here

it is 30mm f/3.5 macro

aspherical elements, it has two of them and

one EDA element of course, what does that

mean? That means as we could put together

another award-winning lens, especially

for us macro photographers, we needed

something that allows us to get a bit

closer, this guy fits the bill. Notice it

has a 1 to 2.5x magnification ratio,

which is very well suited for macro

shooting. Of course its greater than life

size but you do have a minimum working

distance of 0.6" with a

minimum focusing distance of 3.7".

It does have their MSC high-speed image

or AF which works great for video and

stills but of course you do have full

time manual focus, very important in

macro photography imaging. It is a 46mm

filter thread size so that

means you can readily find some really

good UV, CPL and ND filters out on the market.

Notice how it has a metal breach mount

with electronic contact so you can get a

good connection for your exposure and

for your focus, very lightweight, has

rounded seven blade diaphragm so that

means that you get beautiful Bokeh images

when you have it at your maximum

aperture of 3.5. Remember, it does stop

down to f/22 for

considerable depth of field control and

if it was a full-frame this will be a

16mm perspective for full frame

and 35mm equivalent. So there

you have it,

if you're in the market for a new macro

lens for your micro four thirds camera

take a closer look at the Olympus Zuiko

Happy new year...How can I say in Polish?

Szczęśliwego nowego roku.

But it's still 31st December now.

New Year's Eve is "Sylwester" in Polish, is 't it?

Polish New Year's Eve is not some holiday.

Many people are working and many shop are opened today.

Even New Year is not like in Japan. Only 1st is a holiday.

Many people start to work from 2nd Jan.

I think sometimes Polish people work hard more than Japanese.

Polish holiday on wintertime is only Christmas season. 25th, 26th...and 24th?

And 1st Jan.

I don't know but maybe few people take a paid vacation?

By the way, I thought I don't have any work today.

But I had to work like usually...

I felt sad "Why I need to clean up someone's house on 31st Dec!!"

But it was everything OK because I got some alcohol after job!

I live in countryside.

So here is nothing some party place.

We will spend at home and before 15 minutes New Year's Day we will go to outside.

And we will be enjoy a sound of a firecrackers.

But I know it will be shabby like 2 years ago.

And will be no people.

Today we are going to make a dish which is a big mushroom and a minced meat.

With drinking alcohol.

Where are you going?

I got some cookies.

I heard so loud firecrackers sound.

From where come this sound?

Someone used a firecrackers in front of my block house.

I was surprised because outside was light.

I got a champagne. I'm glad.

Because I also worn Lolita fashion before.

No, I was wearing when I was university student.

I made few clothes...

She reminds me of my past.

I feel nostalgic.

I don't want to wear Lolita fashion but I like watching.

It's so cute but I can't wear now.

I found myself already in 2017.

Happy new year...

I wanted to spend 0 am on outside yesterday.

I tried to go outside but I fell asleep 30 minutes before midnight.

Nobody waked me up.

So I slept until morning.

I was drank so I didn't remove make up and take a shower.
