2015-2017 F-150 MBRP Black Series 3" Cat-Back (2.7L EcoBoost) Sound Clip & Install - Duration: 7:36.
Hey, everybody.
I'm Justin with americanmuscle.com, and this is my detailed review and install of the MBRP
Black Series cat-back exhaust system featuring the dual same side exit configuration which
will dump before the passenger side rear tire.
It's available for your 2015 and newer 2.7L EcoBoost-powered F-150.
My review on this exhaust will cover my thoughts on the overall sound profile you can expect
from the MBRP, what the Black Series is going to deliver as far as construction and materials,
and then finally we'll briefly talk you through the install, and depending on your cab and
bed size, there might be the smallest amount of trimming needed for the lead pipe here.
Nevertheless, I'm still going one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter with some
more detail later on.
So the Black Series cat-back from MBRP is a pretty unique system in their lineup but
the main feature being the black powder coating from tip to tip here, increasing the durability
in the process, but also making for a very stealthy appearance underneath the truck.
Now this system will produce a good amount of bark overall on your F-150, and it does
feature that very cool dual same side exit configuration much like those early SVT Lightnings.
Now that you know a little bit more about this system, let's get further into detail.
And as I did just mention, this thing does feature that dual same side exit configuration,
but we will talk a little bit more about appearance and construction in a little bit.
But first, let's dive head first into the sound.
And you guys heard the sound clips with this exhaust.
You can be the judge, but in my opinion, the MBRP Black Series produces a very well-rounded
note overall, and it's a note that we've heard before.
It's a tone that we've heard before, because a lot of the MBRP systems, whether it be the
Black system that we have here, the XP system, the Installer Series, or the Pro Series, for
the most part, are all going to use a very similar design in muffler, so the sound is
very consistent across the board.
So breaking out the Wake the Neighbors scale, again guys, three out of five on my one to
five on the Wake the Neighbors scale.
You do hear this thing a little bit more on the inside of the truck, which isn't a huge
deal.
If you want something that's going to be a little bit more quiet but still deliver that
dual same side exit look, check out some of the Magnaflow systems instead.
They might be a little bit more quiet on the inside, but you are going to be paying a little
bit more for those.
However, if you're not bothered by a little added noise inside the truck, this is certainly
going to be a great choice.
But with the sound covered, let's talk a little bit more about what the Black Series will
bring to the table as far as construction and materials.
Now, believe it or not, the Black Series actually starts out life as the Installer Series from
MBRP, which is the company's most affordable cat-back in their lineup.
From there, however, is how the system gets its name.
The entire thing, and I'm talking piping, clamps, hangers, tips, muffler, everything
gets powder coated in this heat resistant black ceramic coating, giving it a little
bit more durability and adding a little bit more of a stealthy look in the process.
And this really is going to appeal to truck owners out there from both a function and
a form standpoint.
Now on the form side, the all-black appearance here really is going to be very unique.
There's really nothing quite like it currently in the market that I'm aware of offering that
all-black finish.
And for those owners out there who prefer to see the system kind of disappear from underneath
the truck, this would definitely be a good option.
But taking things a step further, let's talk about how that black powder coating will increase
the durability of this system and help the function in that regard.
And guys, don't forget this thing is the Installer Series, right?
It's that aluminized steel tubing lying beneath that black powder coat.
The aluminized steel, not a bad material.
It's super affordable, it's going to perform as advertised, just as good as any of those
other more premium materials. The problem with that aluminized steel, though, is that it
can corrode pretty easily, especially if your truck gets exposed to a lot of road salt during
the winter months.
But the Black Series here with that powder coat is going to act as an additional barrier
against the road salt or against the elements, protecting this thing much better than if
it were left uncoated altogether.
And as such, MBRP is throwing a little better of a warranty at this thing.
You're getting a one-year warranty on the coating itself, three-year warranty on the
actual materials.
You are paying a little bit more for that black powder coat as expected.
Mid-$500 price range for this particular system.
Definitely not bad and still very much in the entry level category on the site.
So now that we've beaten that black powder coat to death, let's talk a little bit more
about what you can expect with the MBRP as far as overall construction.
Sixteen gauge aluminized steel for the overall material here, 3" tubing pretty much from
tip to tip here again including the lead-in pipe going through the straight through by
design muffler does split off into twin 3" tubing all mandrel bent before exiting out
the 4" slash-cut tips with the rolled edge.
These guys are actually made from 304-grade stainless steel, but they are given that same
black powder coat treatment as the rest of the system.
Let's switch gears quickly and just breeze over the install with the MBRP system.
And as I mentioned at the very top of this video, depending on your cabin bed size or
basically your wheelbase, you might have to make some small adjustments or some small
trimming to this main pipe here.
Really, not the end of the world.
It's really only going to be one cut.
So as long as you take your time, follow the detailed instructions, measure twice and cut
once, it's going to be a very easy day in the garage or shop.
So I'm sticking to one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter.
Maybe an hour or two before you're making some noise.
Obviously, that factory system will need to get dropped first.
You can pretty much do this with a basic socket set or an impact gun.
After that, simply get to work installing the MBRP in reverse order.
I recommend starting from front to back as always.
Save your final tighten up to the very end, and you should be good to go.
The Black Series from MBRP, while a little pricey compared to some of the other options
in their lineup, is going to offer a great sound for your F-150, along with a very unique
look, thanks to that all-black powder coat which will also add some durability in the
process.
So that is my review of the MBRP Black Series which you can find right here at americanmuscle.com.

Fete Clemente | Lick of the week #7 - Minor Harmonic (Yngwie Malmsteen Style) - Duration: 6:56.
Hello everyone! Welcome to this new video
This week we will work a style very different from the previous ones
We work with the minor harmonic scale widely used by guitarists like
Yngwie Malmsteen, Vinnie Moore or Michael Romeo from Symphony X
We should try to listen to many different styles because each one will contribute something to our way of playing.
This lick gives us a great technique of alternate picking and left hand
Come on!
For the sound I used a Stratocaster guitar and a typical Marshall amp sound.
On this base sound I have applied a delay and a reverb bright hall
The harmony of this lick is based on the minor harmonic scale
We play the root, second, third minor, fourth, fifth, sixth minor and seventh major
The tone and a half interval between the minor sixth and the major seventh is what characterizes this scale
The chord progression can be seen on the screen. The accompaniment used is as follows
Let's see the lick step by step
We start with the D arpeggio and using minor harmonic scale notes:
6th
7th and 8th
2nd and 3rd
Chromatic #4th and 5th
7th and 8th
Next we use the Bb and C # diminished arpeggio, and the same one octave lower.
We reuse the arpeggio of D
So far we played with alternate picking
Now we use speed picking, that is, we play two picks down and one up.
We play the A major arpeggio
G disminished
E disminished
C# disminished
For the next part of the lick we play this phrase and a higher octave
Next position
Next position
And we ended up deploying the scale
For the expression of this lick we will consider 3 things
1. Cleaning
2. Tempo
3. Fluency, we must play relaxed
This is all for this week and I hope you liked it!
Do not forget to leave your comment and subscribe to my channel!
See you soon!

MARK SEXUAL ASSAULT IS A
GROWING CONCERN FOR WOMEN IN THE
MILITARY.
JOINING US NOW ON EFFORTS TO
STOP THOSE, --
HOW BIG OF A PROBLEM IS SEXUAL
ASSAULT IN THE MILITARY?
IT IS SHOCKING.
BECAUSE THESE ARE PEOPLE
PROTECTING US.
WE REALLY NEED TO PROTECT THEM.
IT IS ESTIMATED OVER 25,000 A
YEAR.
MARK: A HUGE NUMBER.
>> MAY BE 10% TO 20% GET
REPORTED.
IT IS NOT SURPRISING, BECAUSE
MOST OF THE PEOPLE IN THE
MILITARY -- HALF ARE MEN.
AND HOW ARE WOMEN, OBVIOUSLY.
ALICIA CAME TO MY OFFICE WITH A
STORY.
MARK: WHAT IS THAT?
>> IN 2009, I WENT TO THE COAST
GUARD BASE TO GO TO BASIC
TRAINING.
WHILE THERE, MYSELF AND SEVERAL
COMRADES WERE SEXUALLY HARASSED
THROUGHOUT TRAINING.
WE ENDED UP MAKING A REPORT TO A
MILITARY PROSECUTOR.
AND THE INVESTIGATION THAT
FOLLOWED, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT
NOT ONLY HAD WE BEEN HARASSED,
BUT FELLOW RECRUIT HAD ALSO
BEEN SEXUALLY ASSAULTED BY OUR
COMPANY COMMANDER.
MARK: AND NOT MUCH HAPPENED
AFTER THAT, RIGHT?
>> WELL, WE DID GO THROUGH THE
PROCESS OF TAKING HIM TO COURT,
BUT HE ENDED UP BEING TRIED ON
ALTHOUGH TO READ CHARGERS AND
MALTREATMENT CHARGES SET OF THE
SEXUAL ASSAULT.
MARK: MUCH LESSER CHARGES.
>> IT IS REALLY AN INSULT TO
CALL SEXUAL ASSAULT "ADULTERY."
MARK: MARTY FEEL THIS IS SO
UNREPORTED?
>> PART OF IT IS MILITARY
CULTURE.
YOU HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO DO
NOT WANT TO COME FORWARD,
BECAUSE IT IS VERY STIGMATIZED
AREA AND THINK IN OUR CASE,
THERE IS SUCH A LACK OF JUSTICE
IT ALMOST FEELS LIKE WHAT IS THE
POINT?
THERE ARE REPERCUSSIONS AND IT
WILL NOT ACCOMPLISH MUCH TO COME
FORWARD.
MARK BUT YOU HAVE DECIDED TO
COME FORWARD.
CONGRESSWOMAN, WHERE DO YOU COME
INTO THIS TO GET THIS INTO LAW?
>> I FIRST WANT TO SAY THIS.
THIS IS A VERY BRAVE WOMAN,
COMING FORWARD.
I TOOK HER STORAGE OF CONGRESS.
THAT WAS ABOUT FOUR YEARS.
IT TAKES TIME, BUT WE WERE ABLE
TO, YEAR ONE, GET A PROVISION
AND LAW THAT REQUIRED THE
MILITARY TO LOOK AT THE ISSUE.
AND FINALLY, THIS YEAR, IN THE
LATEST BILL THAT WAS PASSE WITH
THE RISING DEFENSE SPENDING,
THERE IS NOW A COMPLETE
PROHIBITION FOR RECRUITERS OR
TRAINE OF THE MILITARY TO HAVE
ANY SEXUAL ACTIVITY WITH
TRAINEES.
HAD THIS BEEN IN PLACE BACK
THEN, WE PROBABLY WOULD NOT BE
HERE NOW.
SO I REALLY -- REALLY, HATS OFF
TO ALICIA.
MARK: WHAT WILL THIS MEAN NOW
FOR WOMEN IN THE MILITARY MOVING
FORWARD?
NOT ONLY WOMEN BUT MEN.
BECAUSE HALF OF THE ASSAULTEES
ARE MEN.
I READ THIS FROM THE VETERANS
ADMINISTRATION.
SEXUAL ASSAULT HAS BECOME SO
PREVALENT THAT THERE'S ACTUALLY
-- THEY HAVE A N TERM CALLED
MILITARY SEXUAL ASSAU --
MILITARY SEXUAL TRAUMA THAT THEY
DEAL WITH NOW AT THE V.A.
WHAT THIS WILL MEA IS THIS LAW
AND ALSO MUCH BETT AWARENESS
WILL LEAD TO SAFER CONDITIONS.
MARK: WHAT MORE NEEDS TO BE DON
?
WELL, THIS COVERS RECRUITS
AND PEOPLE IN A TRAINING
SETTING.
WHAT IT DOES NOT COVER IS THE
REST OF THE MILITARY.
ONCE YOU ARE INTO THE FLEET OR
INTO ACTIVE DUTY, YOU'RE STILL
GOING TO HAVE INSTANCES OF THO
IN AUTHORITY OVER YOU.
WHILE THIS IS GREAT AND WE ARE
THRILLED THIS WAS PASSED, IT
STILL DOES NOT COVER THE VAST
MAJORITY OF MILITARY MEMBERS.
THAT IS THE NEXT STEP.
MARK: THAT IS THE MESSAGE YOU
WANT TO GET OUTS.
YOU WANT MORE PEOPLE TO BE
COMFORTABLE TO COME FORWARD.

But why you hide them? Why don't you want to boast?
Because what paralyzes you is the time,
the fear of others, hate from everywhere.
Listen, you carry about others, but in fact everything matters of you and what you're gonna do with your blank sheet of paper.
Will you throw it to trash?

Everything is in your hands!

2011-2014 Mustang KONI Sport Shock, Strut & Eibach Lowering Kit (GT, V6, BOSS) Review & Install - Duration: 8:53.
Hey, guys.
Adam here with americanmuscle.com.
Today, I'm bringing you a detailed overview and installation of the KONI Sport Adjustable
Shock, Strut, and Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Spring Kit which will be available for all
2011 to 2014 GT, V6, and BOSS 302s.
So in this video, of course, I'll be going over all the details you need to know about
the KONI Sport Adjustable Shocks and Struts as well as the Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Spring
Kit.
Now, there's a lot of details to cover in this video simply because this is an absolutely
huge upgrade for your suspension on your late S197.
Now, for the shocks and struts, I'll be going over the ride quality you can expect with
them installed as well as their materials and construction.
For the Eibach Springs, I'll be detailing the specs, all you need to know about the
drop for your particular model from the GT, V6, and BOSS 302 as well as the performance
and handling benefits of adding these to your ride as well.
I'll top the video off with the install which I'll let you know upfront here will get two
out of three wrenches on a difficulty meter because it is a little bit more involved than
a direct bolt on but it's not gonna be the hardest job in the world.
The KONI Sport Adjustable Shock, Strut, and Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Spring Kit will be
for any 2011 to 2014 GT, V6, or BOSS 302 owner who's looking to seriously improve and upgrade
their suspension and handling package for their late S197.
This will involve the ability to adjust and fine tune their shocks and struts while getting
an aggressive appearance with a pretty noticeable drop in ride height, anywhere between an inch
and an inch and a half on a progressive lowering spring.
So obviously, there is a lot to talk about in this video so I'm gonna break it down piece
by piece like I said in the beginning.
I'm gonna start with the KONI Sport Adjustable Shocks and Struts since they will play a huge
part in the handling, performance, and the ride quality of your S197.
The KONI Sport Adjustable Shocks and Struts, otherwise known as the KONI yellows, are just
one step up from the KONI orange STRTs, which you might recognize from the site, but of
course, these will give you a full range of adjustability on your shocks and struts depending
on your personal feel so you can change exactly how the ride will feel that day.
Now, with that said, it all comes down to personal preference, again, but you can loosen
or stiffen the dampening with just a simple turn of the knob.
A clockwise turn on the knob will loosen the compression and rebound ratio and of course,
just a counterclockwise will stiffen it back up.
So these are actually gonna be constructed from KONI out of a gas-pressurized twin-tube
design here with a larger diameter piston for optimum street performance, and of course,
track as well.
Now, they wouldn't be the KONI brand name without that yellow finish and a KONI logo
printed right on the side here.
Now, the twin-tube gas-pressurized design, I just mentioned a second ago, is going to
be found with a lot of options in this price range but KONI has been making variations
of the shock and strut for literally decades now so they've built a pretty well-known name,
and that's a name that I even use on my own Cobra so I can tell you firsthand this comes
with a very comfortable ride, and of course, it can really take a beating.
Now, obviously, there's a lot of goodies that go into this package.
So the KONI shocks and struts you see here with all the adjustabilities I just mentioned
are obviously gonna be best suited for a set of lowering springs.
Now, you can save yourself the hassle by picking up this particular kit because they're grouped
perfectly with the Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Spring Set so you don't have to go shopping
around finding for the best match because it's already done for you.
Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs will work perfectly in conjunction with your KONI sport
adjustable shocks and struts to drastically improve the handling performance and ride
quality of your Mustang.
Now, when you lower the center of gravity on your Mustang, not only are you getting
an aggressive muscle car stance but you're also gonna reduce squatting during acceleration,
hard body roll while hitting the corners, and of course, nosedive or excessive nosedive
in those hard-braking situations.
Now, with that said, this is gonna be perfect for those daily drivers, track queens, or
even those weekend warriors.
Now, this offers a lot of different drops in ride height for the different models of
the '11 to '14 Mustangs so bear with me a second while I get you the specifics.
Now, if you're rocking a GT from the '11 to '14 family, whether it's a Coup or Convertible,
expect a 1-inch drop in the front and a 1.5-inch drop in the rear.
If you've got a BOSS 302 of the same generation, expect a 0.6-inch drop in the front and a
1-inch drop in the rear and finally, if you've got a V6, whether it's a Couple or Convertible,
expect a 0.8-inch drop in the front and a 1.2-inch drop in the rear.
Now, the drops I just mentioned will be sitting on a progressive spring rate from Eibach which
is gonna be perfect for the daily driver, the daily commute, or the guys out there hitting
the track on occasion, taking those hard turns or hard cornering.
Now, with that said, the progressive spring rate is gonna be acting pretty normal and
very comfortable under normal driving conditions but once you put a little bit more pressure
on them taking it to the track or hitting those hard turns, they're gonna stiffen up
and react to those cornering situations.
Now, as far as the pricing goes, if you're interested in the KONI Sport Adjustable Shocks
and Struts and you're looking for a perfect Eibach combination, you can pick up this particular
kit for about $850 and in that region.
Now, it doesn't save you too much money from picking them up separately but it'll save
you enough to make it worth it.
Now, in my personal opinion, the main purpose of this entire kit here is just, honestly,
convenience.
That way if you're picking up these shocks and struts and you're looking for the perfect
lowering spring, you don't have to go through digging, swapping through page by page to
find what fits perfectly.
The Eibach kit and the KONI's have come together for the perfect kit and they work together
really well as our customers have definitely confirmed.
If you wanna check that out for yourself, we've got some customer reviews and testimonials
sitting on the product page of the KONI and Eibach kit so you can check those out for
confirmation of that fact.
Shifting gears over to the install portion of the video.
Like I said in the very beginning, this isn't gonna be the hardest job in the world but
it is a lot more involved than a direct bolt on so it will require some mechanical know-how
and experience.
Now, if you don't have that, of course, there's no shame handing this one over to the professional
to get done properly.
Now, if you are tackling this yourself, you wanna make sure you have the proper tools
on hand such as a jack and jack stand or a lift if you have that, making it a lot more
convenient.
You wanna make sure you have a ratchet and full socket set on deck as well as a spring
compressor to safely remove and install the springs.
Overall, this should take you about four hours if you're doing it yourself and it gets the
two out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.
So just to give you a brief idea of what exactly you're gonna be working with, you're gonna,
of course, wanna jack up the car and support it on jack stands or get it on a lift if you
have access to one.
Now, you're gonna start by removing one wheel at a time in the front and, of course, you're
gonna have to drop the entire breaking system out of the way just to gain access to that
factory strut.
So once you have that all taken care of, you'll pop open the hood and remove the nut holding
your strut in place at the top of the strut tower while supporting it from the bottom.
Move down to the bottom here and remove the lower strut bolt as well as the N-links and
pull the entire factory strut assembly out of the vehicle and set it aside.
At this point, you'll need to use your spring compressor to install the Eibach Pro-Kit Springs
onto your KONI yellows.
Once you have that back in the vehicle, you can start by tightening everything down at
the top of the strut tower to 30 foot-pounds and, of course, the lower strut bolts and
the N-links to about 85 foot-pounds.
So once you have the fronts taken care of, the rears will kick off the exact same way.
You'll remove the rear wheel, drop the entire brake assembly out of the way just to gain
access to that shock.
Now, the top nut on the shock will actually be located in your trunk so you'll have to
move over that trunk liner on the sides and bottom to gain access to that.
The lowers might be interfering with the rear sway bars so you might have to drop that out
of the way to gain access to that.
Now, with that said, at this point, you wanna make sure you're supporting the rear differential
housing before you remove any of these nuts.
So once you get that top one taken care of, you can start lowering the jack, supporting
your differential housing out of the way just to slip down that shock and spring.
Once you've unbolted that rear shock and slipped that lowering spring out by lowering the differential,
you can start by reinstalling all the KONI adjustables and the Eibach Pro-Kits right
in the reverse order and you can top it all off with the exact same torque specs as the
fronts.
After that, you're good to go.
Now, at this point, you wanna make sure you're driving around on the new suspension setup.
Let it break in before you make any adjustments, of course.
Now, typically, I'd recommend leaving it right in the middle as far as adjustability goes
before you start your ride.
Once you break everything in, you can determine how you'd wanna adjust things and, of course,
clockwise loosens, counterclockwise stiffens, and you can use the adjustability tool that
Eibach and KONI have provided for you in the kit.
Now, on top of that, about four hours' worth of time in the driveway at home, two out of
three wrenches on our difficulty meter.
Overall, not the hardest job in the world, again, but it is a lot more involved than
just a direct bolt on.
So if you're the owner of a 2011 to 2014 GT, V6, or BOSS 302, you might be looking at a
complete overhaul of your suspension and handling package in which case, check out the KONI
Sport Adjustable Shock, Strut, and Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Spring Kit which can be found

Titanfall 2 Tips - How To Destroy The A-Wall - Titanfall 2 - Duration: 2:45.
Hey there pilots, welcome to TitanTime, Dan here and today it's time to look at how
to destroy the a-wall.
Now we've all been victim to that one player sat at the back of the map with the a-wall
and devotion, mowing everyone down at the beginning of a pilots vs pilots match, or
someone sat in the corner of a hardpoint, and ever since the game released we assumed
you could destroy the a-wall, with a mention of this in the a-wall description, stating
that it can be destroyed at it's base.
So it's taken a and while for Rich and I to put this video together, as we had to do
it all the tests in a public game against each other, as the a-wall cannot be destroyed
at all in a private match.
So let's take a look at what happened when Rich and I performed the tests.
So the grenadier weapons don't work.
The kraber doesn't work, or shotguns, or any primary, secondary or anti-titan weapons
or even a direct firestar.
So far the best way to deal with the a-wall has been ordnance, whether it's a smoke
grenade to push the users back, grenades to force them away from the a-wall, or a gravity
start to pull them out so you can shoot them down.
But the best way by far to take down the a-wall is not a primary, secondary or anti-titan
weapon.
It's a boost option, and you're going to need the smart pistol.
The smart pistol requires just 1 lock on to fully destroy an a-wall, which is almost immediate.
Note that your smart pistol can also destroy your own wall as well, so be careful when
using it.
Now the obvious drawback of this is that you have to equip your boost before the game starts,
so I'd suggest using the smart pistol for pilots vs pilots as this is where we tend
to see the a-wall ability being used the most, at least on xbox one and PS4.
Whilst the a-wall still can't be destroyed by any other methods, it's important to
remember that this is an ability, and it would be irritating to have your a-wall constantly
destroyed, rendering the entire ability useless.
So although it's not ideal, the smart pistol is the only way to destroy the a-wall, hopefully
that will help some of you pilots out there, let us know how you get on, and we'll catch
you next time.

Hey, guys.
I'm Alex from americanmuscle.com, and today I'm bringing you my quick review and breakdown
of the Procar Sportsman Pro Black Vinyl Reclining Seat, fitting your 1979 through 2014 Mustang.
So in this video, I'm gonna talk about the construction and materials that went into
this seat.
We're gonna talk about who this might appeal to and why you might wanna get into a set
of aftermarket seats, what you should expect to be spending, and then we're gonna take
a very quick glance at what's entailed to get these installed.
We're gonna be looking at a light to a moderate one out of three wrenches on the difficulty
meter and about one to two hours per side, and I'll have a little more for you on that
later.
So the Procar Sportsman that I have here in front of you today should definitely appeal
to a few different types of Mustang owners out there.
And first and foremost, it's gonna be for the owner that's running an older car that
doesn't necessarily wanna pull their seats out, take them down to an upholstery or body
shop, and have them rewrapped, as it can definitely be a little bit on the costly side.
So the next group of owners out there that I think this would definitely appeal to would
be the guys that are looking to get out of their factory-style seats and into something
that's not only gonna be a little bit more race-inspired but it's gonna keep you safe
and secure when you're pushing your car through the turns, be it on a road course, autocross,
or if you're just looking that's gonna give you a little bit more support down low as
well as up top.
So additionally, for the previous reasons, if you're in the process of building a dedicated
time attack, road course, or even a drag car, these might appeal to you because they're
gonna weight considerably less than what you might find coming out of your car from the
factory.
Now, we're gonna see that these are gonna come in right around 25 to 30 pounds, and
I definitely mean that they weigh damn near nothing, as you can pick them up with about
one hand here.
So last type of owner that I think this might appeal to would be the shapelier Mustang owner,
kind of like myself, that's gonna be looking for a little bit more comfort in the event
that you're gonna have trouble driving your own car.
Now, having sat with this in a car as well as on the floor and a couple of different
places around here, I can definitely attest to this having more than adequate support
for your hips and your rear end and down around your waistline.
So in terms of the construction and materials here, guys, right out of the box, it's evident
this is definitely pretty well-built, despite being a budget-minded seat.
The back of the seat's gonna have a gloss black finish, what I think is pretty trick.
Additionally, here on the bolsters, on the side, as well as up top, they're gonna have
a little bit of a carbon fiber weave.
The Procar logo itself, it's gonna have a little bit of a felt look to it, and the stitching
and the vinyl is just pretty top-notch for how much you're gonna be paying.
And I'll get a little bit more into that for you later.
So the specific series that I have here today is not only gonna be aggressive and give you
a much cooler look inside of your car as well as being a little bit more comfortable for
a certain body type, but you're gonna see that this is gonna have harness pass-throughs
here.
So just like I said previously, if you're building a time-attack car, dedicated drag
car, you're gonna need that, and it's definitely something that I'd pay attention to when you're
shopping for seats online.
So again, guys, if you're looking at picking up the set of aftermarket seats for your Mustang,
you're probably doing it for one of the reasons that I had mentioned previously.
In terms of the looks department, between the '79 and the 2014, I think it's pretty
all right looking.
This, honestly, isn't my own cup of tea.
I'm more of an old-school guy.
I love the look of a simple RECARO, something you might find out of a Saleen Fox body.
But let's face facts, money does not grow on trees.
Seats can definitely be expensive.
I honestly think this is gonna be a great option for someone that's looking for a budget-minded
and an entry-level racing seat, again, if you're looking to build a time-attack car,
or a drag car, or if you're just looking to give your interior some strong looks, as well
give you more support when you're running your car through your turns.
All right, guys, so one thing I do wanna mention before we get into the pricing here is that,
no matter the generation of your Mustang, be it a Fox, an SN95, or a 197, you will need
to purchase the brackets to get these installed separately.
And I would just make sure to pay close attention to that on the product page.
All right, guys, so in terms of the pricing here, you should expect to be spending about
230 bucks per seat and give or take about another $100 for brackets.
And for the money here, I think these are a great entry-level, budget-minded seat that's
gonna give a ton of looks on the inside as well as keep you pretty firmly planted.
And again, if you're gonna run that in comparison with some of the other options we have on
site, you're gonna see they can easily range from anywhere between $700 to $800 per seat
all the way up to a couple grand for a full set.
So again, for the money here, you're gonna be getting away with some pretty good looks
as well as having the ability to keep you in the seat.
But I do wanna call out there that it's gonna be dependent upon the look that you're after
as well as how much you wanna spend, and they're gonna be pretty directly related to each other.
All right, guys, so switching gears to the installation portion of the video, just like
I had said up top, you're gonna be looking at a pretty light to a moderate one out of
three wrenches on the difficulty meter and probably about one to two hours per side here.
Now, I do wanna mention that, for this specific seat, we're gonna be installing this in an
S197, and it might differ from a Fox body to an SN95.
But if you've never pulled your seats out of your car before, you're really not looking
at brain surgery here, and a basic socket set, a little bit of elbow grease, should
have your factory seats out in about one to two hours per side.
Get these swapped back in, and you're good to go.
All right, guys, so just to wrap things up here, some final thoughts.
I definitely like this option from Procar, based on a couple of different features here.
The looks are great.
This is definitely pretty well-built, and it's definitely budget-minded.
Again, you're gonna be paying about $230 per seat here.
Run that in comparison to about 700 or 800 bucks.
You're gonna be getting some very good looks, great support down low as well as for your
waist or the gut region.
But again, for someone that's gonna be a little bit more top-heavy, like myself, and have
a little bit more of a broad build, I might look at some other options, as it's a little
bit tight up in here for me.
And I can see that being a little bit of a nuisance on some longer drives.
But being said here, if you're just looking to get some really great looks, building a
time attack, drag car, or a road course car, this is gonna be a perfect budget-friendly
option for you.
All right, so that's my quick review and breakdown of the Procar Sportsman Pro Black Vinyl Reclining
Seat for your 1979 through 2014 Mustang, available right here at americanmuscle.com.
