are to be utilized in the event of new instances of SCP-2267.

Existing instances are to be downloaded into an encrypted Foundation network for study

and subsequently removed from public view.

Personnel are to update crawler search protocols weekly.

Description: SCP-2267 is an entity or group that uploads anomalous content to video-sharing

sites such as YouTube and Vine under a series of unrelated and apparently nonsensical online

handles.

The accounts themselves have proven untraceable.

Uploaded videos contain footage of musical performances, interviews, and advertisements

featuring unknown musical artists and related figures.

Despite the depicted popularity of these artists, personnel have concluded these recordings

are not being produced in the Foundation's standard timeline and/or reality.

Footage of performances depict fantastical and surrealistic venues, as well as the utilization

of technology beyond current mundane capability.

Analysis of these recordings has produced a list of reoccurring artists and their musical

styles, as well as occasional biographical information presented in interviews (see Document

2267-A).

Researchers have also verified the date in which SCP-2267's home reality diverged from

the standard timeline (see Document 2267-B).

The headline act was described as a woman raised in a secluded natural environment and

only allowed to consume specially cultivated vegetation and honey.

Singer appears to be able to project her voice without the use of a microphone.

Singer was also observed to change tone, inflection, and timbre of voice with remarkable ease and

Despite the presence of a single silhouette, multiple voices singing in harmony are clearly

audible.

One subject claimed to have observed unusual movement on the singer's neck and shoulder

Audible music appears to be a product of these devices producing various tones and chords

at different intervals.

produced dissonant tones occasionally utilized in the main piece.

On [REDACTED], the entities responsible for SCP-2267 uploaded studio footage of a radio

interview with a person referred to as "John Steckler", an apparently leading figure in

what the interviewer describes as "pneuma-acoustics".

Interviewer: And the scientific community, there was no trepidation about this at all?

Steckler: Well, there was definitely some of that.

One of the, uh, analysts in the, uh, beginning, he quit as soon as he found out we were going

in.

But it, it was a shock to us, too.

Steckler: [laughs] The story's been told a lot better in the movies.

I know how, uh, how ridiculous that sounds, but a lot of people don't understand the kind

of pressure we were under.

We had to do it right.

We had to have a kind of tunnel vision about the whole thing.

Just working on what's in front of our noses.

But I definitely don't remember any of the men kind of, shouting and crying and having

these, these grand epiphanies like you see in all the movies.

[laughs] We just had to do our jobs.

Interviewer: Any details you can share with us that's never made it into those movies?

Steckler: Oh, wow.

Definitely the, definitely the smell of the ship.

You can't get that across on screen.

I know they keep trying.

[laughs] It smelled like ammonia, and mint.

And honey.

[pause] It wasn't what we expected.

Interviewer: What do you think happened?

Steckler: [pause] Well, it's fair to say we don't know for sure.

I know one of the soldiers on the detail, he's always supported one of the more definitely

outlandish theories out there.

[laughs] We found the original of what a lot of people know as a, uh, as a gyro - but what

we in the parlance call a pneumatic acousticizer - we found a huge one, right in the belly

of the thing.

Right there.

There was stuff there we still haven't cracked.

Interviewer: Do you mean to say gyros can do more than translate psychological states

into sound?

Are you holding out on us?

[laughs]

Steckler: Well, no.

It's just the one we found was designed to work on a much larger scale than the ones

you're used to in, uh, a club or hall.

Who knows who they were, why their ship was broken on arrival, where they disappeared

to.

If it was even supposed to be manned in the first place.

Interviewer: How do you feel about this technology in the hands of law enforcement?

Data has found pneumatic acoustizers being 95 percent accurate in diagnosing mental disorders

and predicting convict recidivism.

Do you think we are using the fruits of this technology in the right way?

Steckler: Maybe there is no right way.

Some of these club owners, they've taken the more fringe stuff we found and given 'em spins

I wouldn't have imagined in my wildest dreams.

It really is something.

Interviewer: Briefly, Dr. Steckler, before we wrap up: Do you believe there is a chance

we might have a repeat of the Touchdown?

Interviewer: That soldier I was telling you about.

He thought the acousticizer on the ship was meant for the whole planet.

Something like a cosmic lie detector, except accurate.

[laughs] What do you think would have happened if the ship came through intact?

And they used it on us, the whole planet?

It'd be the supreme diagnosis.

Large Format D Printer Episode 15 - Duration: 4:20.

what's up YouTube it's patrick with Nolan

C 3d print work and this is episode 15

of the large-format 3d printer we're

going to extend the z-axis threaded rods

and attach the bed surface to the frame

when this project started I found

getting 1200 millimeter lead screws from

a u.s. supplier was going to be pretty

pricey so i went with threaded rods

locally i can only get rods that are 36

inches long and these will work as long

as there's a threaded coupling bringing

two pieces together it doesn't diminish

the build hyatt much at all plus they

can easily be upgraded to lead screws in

the future I cut links of threaded rod

29 inches the exact gap needed to bring

the rod up to the top of the z-axis I

removed the current rod from the motor

coupling installed some stop nuts and

thread it on the coupling I repeated

this on the other side and there we have

it threaded rods that go all the way to

the top with the z-axis rods worked out

we can get to the bed attaching it to

the aluminum frame I built in a previous

episode finding quarter-inch thick

Plexiglas that's 40 inches by 40 inches

is pretty expensive most estimates I

received were two to three hundred

dollars for the sheet luckily I found an

ad on my local craigslist the seller did

have some pieces that were the full size

but they were a half inch thick and were

priced outside what I could spend we

were able to find two pieces that make

up the full bed area but are a quarter

inch thick since we don't have a table

saw we cut them down using our band saw

the pieces weren't very square from the

start but we did the best we could using

a very stinky loctite plastic epoxy

two-part mix we covered one edge and

then slid them together to keep the

pieces still and in place why the epoxy

cured we use some barbells if you were

also used on the top to hold the seams

flat while the epoxy cured part of the

instructions that sets in about 25

minutes and fully cures in 24 hours to

ensure stability I epoxy it a couple of

small pieces to bridge the scene while

the epoxy cured I took a few minutes to

ensure i could drill the plex

glass without cracking it I used the

spray lubricant on the drill bit and

made sure to drill very slowly with just

light pressure pretty much letting the

bit do all the work the bit made a very

clean hole that went straight through

from there we took a full sheet outside

and laid it out across some board so i

can mark and drill a total of nine holes

three holes each at the front middle and

back of the sheet after drilling I used

a dremel to create a countersink for

each of the bolts i'm using quarter-inch

20 by 3 inch bolts and once these bolts

pass through the plexiglass they are

secured with a nut i added springs that

support three pounds of peace but i

think i'm going to replace them with

some that support much more weight after

the spring the bolts stick through the

aluminum frame and get capped off with a

wingnut even though I plan on using a BL

touch sensor to aid in leveling these

nine points should allow me some

fine-tuning while leveling the bed here

my son helps me install the bed and

place our print of the Doctor Doom mass

which was created by formulate up on

Thingiverse I'll link to the model in

the description and that about does it

for this one I go for the next one is to

install the pulley motors and bolt down

the z-axis motors this should be

possible but just a heads up gaps

between the videos in this series may be

changing from every two weeks to about

once a month going once a month just

better fits with my ability to purchase

parts and have them arrive in time to

work on the build in between the

episodes if possible I'll put out some

other content I have stashed back around

a puter and abs molding project as well

as another casting project where I use

some emu and smooth calf remember if you

Intro to Python: Hello World and Setting up on Windows - Duration: 4:12.

This is Fingers on The Keyboard and in this video we will start learning about

the Python programming language.

Python is a good first language for people who are new to programming, although learning

a shell like bash or powershell should probably be the first step.

Python is an interpreted language, which means that an interpreter processes the code and

executes it at runtime, as opposed to a compiled language like C, where the source code or

human readable code, is ran through a compiler that outputs machine readable code.

This video series is going to focus on Python 2.7 since it is still widely used, and

it is easier to learn 2.7 and then add what's new in Python 3 than the other way around.

If you are using Linux or Mac OS X then you should already have Python installed on your

system. Before you begin though you should check which version you are using by simply

opening a terminal and running 'python', with no arguments. This starts the Python interpreter,

and the version you are running should be displayed in the banner.

If it says 'Python 3.5 ', try running python2 or python2.7. If you get an error saying

command not found then install Python2.7 with your package manager or from your software center.

If you are on Windows you will have to go to the Python web site and download it. After

you've clicked the download link below you can pick the Microsoft Installer for your

CPU. I'd also suggest installing a text editor like, Notepad plus plus or one of your choosing.

You can download Notepad plus plus from their website as well.

After you have downloaded the Python 2.7 installer go to your downloads folder and

run the installer. Follow the instructions in the installation wizard. When it has finished,

click finish. Now in order to run python we will have to either use the full path every

time we want to use it or go to the directory which contains it, C:\python27 by default,

but if we wanted to be able to run it from any where in the directory tree we can add

it to our PATH environment variable.

Open powershell and lets peak in the C drive and check if the python directory is in there.

It looks like it is, so lets run 'Systempropertiesadvanced.exe', the System properties window

will launch. From there click environment variables, in the User section click the PATH

variable and edit. Then add the path to the python directory and click ok. After you restart

you will be able to run python from anywhere in the directory tree.

Lets write out first Python program, back at your command prompt type 'python' and press

enter. This starts python interactively, allowing you to run throw away programs quickly. Now

lets type at the interpreter print followed by Hello World wrapped in quotes. When we press

enter, the string "hello world" is printed to the terminal.

You can use either double or single quotes.

We can also do some arithmetic. We can add, multiply, divide, even find the

remainder.

If we open up a text editor we can also write programs to be ran later. Lets save our Hello

world program to this text file. Lets declare that we are using U T F 8 encoding and type

out print hello world like we did earlier. Now save it as hello.py, then back at

the command prompt lets run our script by typing; python hello.py, and again the

string hello world is displayed on the screen.

In this video we went over how to install Python on Windows, how to run Python interactively,

and we wrote our obligatory hello world program. In the next video we will go over some of

the fundamentals of the Python language.
