JY: is this alright? - Move to the spot with light

- If I'm acting, I'll be like this

- and I'll move here

JY: there is still no light here - There is, there is

Older Actresses That Always Stun - Duration: 6:24.

Life after 50 looks pretty great on these Hollywood actresses, who are all at once screen

legends and lasting beauties.

Not only do they boast successful, long-lived careers, but they also always know exactly

how to dress to their individual style strengths.

These women just never fail to wow when showing off their stuff, on film sets and red carpets

alike.

Helen Mirren

Dame Helen Mirren is a living master class on panache — a total tastemaker.

And she knows that about herself and isn't afraid to flaunt her beautiful figure in flattering

fashions.

Everyone could stand to take a few notes on how to simultaneously exude grace and spunk

— just like she did in this navy-black Bruce Oldfield gown that gave her a little sleeve

lace to compliment her inner elegance at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival premiere of The

Unknown Girl.

She just keeps getting better and better.

Sharon Stone

Someone should really consider green-lighting a scientific analysis of the waters over in

Meadville, Pennsylvania.

That's where Sharon Stone was born — and the supply was obviously spiked with magical

youth juice or something.

Stone, who has not slowed down a bit since she first arrived on the Hollywood scene in

the early '80s, has a basic instinct for coming up chic every time she steps out.

Just like that time when she made every jaw in the room drop by showing up to Cannes in

this siren red Roberto Cavalli gown for the 2014 amfAR charity event.

The woman was on fire that night.

Jane Fonda

After more than five decades in the spotlight, Jane Fonda can still turn heads with her exceptional

savviness.

Not only is the two-time Oscar-winning actress as lovely as the day is long, but she's also

got a real gift for getting just the right garb for any given occasion.

She might be known for her on-screen humor, but there's never anything funny about the

way she works it in real life.

Most women in their late-70s would not feel comfortable in this figure-hugging, skin-showing

Atelier Versace dress she wore at the Sea of Trees premiere at the 2015 Cannes Film

Festival.

But Fonda rocks it.

Ellen Barkin

The amount of thespian talent Ellen Barkin's got on tap is matched only by her radiant

composure.

The Emmy-winning screen star has been in the business since the late '70s, and not once

has her sartorial smartness slipped.

She also has an eye for great spectacle accessories and the kind of posture that would make a

broomstick jealous.

Plus, she always knows exactly how to dress up her outfits, like with this snazzy, gold-embellished

pantsuit she rocked at NYC's Museum of Moving Image in 2015.

Her slicked back hairstyle, low-key accessories, and gold-tinted makeup touches made for the

picture-perfect finish, which is totally the norm for her.

Angela Bassett

Stella might've had to get her groove back, but Angela Bassett has never lost hers.

The actress, who was nominated for an Oscar for her performance as Tina Turner in What's

Love Got to Do With It, has owned her look on the Broadway stage, silver screen, and

TV.

Her polished presence is completely undeniable on every medium.

Her formfitting magenta Galia Lahav gown at the 2016 BAFTAs reminded everyone just how

on-point her sense of self and style has been all the while.

Andie MacDowell

At some point, we've gotta start to wonder whether some portion of Groundhog Day became

a reality for actress Andie MacDowell — because she's barely changed a bit since her earliest

days in the industry.

In addition to her acting, she's also been the face of L'Oreal's hair care line for more

than a quarter of a century.

And it's no wonder — her mane game is about as good as it gets.

Her casual grace can also be credited with elevating everything she wears, like when

she made this summery strapless blue-green dress into an all-out evening gown — just

because she could — at L'Oreal's 2015 Women of Worth event in New York City.

Katey Sagal

There's a reason Katey Sagal was so good in the biker drama Sons of Anarchy: she knows

how to rev up some hearts.

Her sassy spirit drips from every fiber of her ensemble selections, and she never makes

the mistake of straying from what works for her.

At the same time, she's also known to switch up her look on occasion.

Because when it comes to Sagal's gear, sleek modernity is her M.O.

So, while she can normally be found in some cool, biker-friendly leather gear, she can

also stun in high fashion, as she did in her bright orange gown after winning 'best actress'

in Sons of Anarchy at the 68th Annual Golden Globes.

Rene Russo

Known of her infectious laughter and casual elegance, Renee Russo has long maintained

an air of refinement and self-possession that is probably the envy of peers even half her

age.

Some things just can't be taught, and whatever it is, Russo's got it.

Which is why, even though she said she "hates" dressing for the red carpet, she still knows

just how to suit up and shine when the duty calls.

She has a great eye for color schemes that complement her signature red locks, as with

this ivory J. Mendel crewneck gown that couldn't have been a better fit for her at the 2015

Vanity Fair Oscar party in Hollywood.

Halle Berry

Halle Berry won the genetic lottery in the looks department and has one of Hollywood's

most symmetrical faces ever.

But the lady also still works for what she's working with.

Not only has the Oscar winner managed to stay fit, she's also kept ahead of — and sometimes

even helped set — fashion and hairstyle trends.

Her turn-of-the-millennium pixie cut is one of her most iconic looks ever, and at the

time of this video, she's working a wavy, shoulder-length bob with well-placed highlights

that's just sure to catch on.

Meryl Streep

Meryl Streep might be the most decorated actress of all time thanks to her supreme acting skills,

but she's no slouch in the appearance department either.

Her premier talent also extends to how she presents herself off-screen, because she knows

just how to drape and accessorize her best physical quality: that quiet confidence that

she has in spades.

Consider her dripping gold Lanvin gown for the 2012 Oscars, where she picked up her third

Academy Award win.

On anyone else that might be a touch too cheesy, but Streep was the shiniest person in the

room that night — and the dress was just a fraction of the equation.

The Shady Second Life Of Bristol Palin - Duration: 5:36.

As the high-profile politician's kid who became a teen mom and reality star, Bristol Palin

has attracted her fair share of time in the spotlight. Yet even with all those cameras

tracking her every move, Palin's public persona remains confusing, conflicted, and — at

times — hypocritical. We're here to set the record straight on this embattled young

woman.

A complicated pregnancy

When then-Alaska Governor Sarah Palin ran as the Republican nominee for Vice President

in 2008, she aligned herself with a party promoting abstinence as the responsible standard

of teen conduct. However, right in the middle of the Republican National Convention, news

got out that her then-17-year-old unwed daughter Bristol was five months pregnant with high

school sweetheart Levi Johnston. That certainly complicated her standing with the RNC faithful.

"Definitely something hard to go through and I wrote in my book too I kinda felt like I

had that scarlet letter attached to me like, ah.. You know, sleaze

or whatever."

Just months after baby Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston arrived, Bristol and Levi called

off their engagement. As time passed, the rosy picture of young love and family values

portrayed on the campaign trail morphed into a much darker story. In her 2011 memoir, Not

Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far, Bristol claimed her virginity was "stolen" by Levi

during a drunken camp-out with friends.

"I'm not accusing Levi of date rape or rape at all. But I am just looking back with the

adult eyes I have now and just thinking, 'That was a foolish decision.'"

The book also detailed Levi's alleged reaction to the baby news, claiming he said, quote,

"It better be a f**king boy." Those images are a 180-degree shift from the sunny family

storyline promoted during the campaign, that's for sure.

Planned for the unplanned

Levi's sister, Mercede "Sadie" Johnston, openly bashed the Palin family in Playboy in September

2016. Among her many allegations, Sadie claimed Bristol and Levi's baby news was no accident.

For his part, Levi backed up that version of events in his own book, Deer in the Headlights:

My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs. In his memoir, he claimed Bristol wanted to get pregnant

because she was upset that her mom was pregnant.

For her part, Bristol has certainly downplayed his story.

"When Levi's book came out, it was like a joke. I was like, 'really?' You didn't graduate

high school how… How can you write a book?"

But he was allegedly allegedly encouraged to lead a double life by Bristol's family,

at least according to Levi's 2009 interview with Vanity Fair. After the teens broke the

baby news to Sarah, the governor supposedly hatched a plan to keep up appearances by keeping

Bristol's pregnancy a secret and later planning to adopt their child.

But those reported attempts to keep the truth at bay failed to pan out, and after Tripp's

birth in December 2008, Bristol took a vow to remain abstinent until marriage. She became

a family planning activist and earned hundreds of thousands of dollars for her work. Some

lauded her efforts, but others wondered if she was sending mixed messages about abstinence

versus safe sex.

"I just want to go out there and promote abstinence and just say 'This is the safest choice this

is the choice that's gonna prevent teen pregnancy and present… prevent a lot of heartache.'"

Those words would come back to bite her in 2015, when at age 24, an unwed Bristol announced

on her blog that she was once again pregnant. The father was former U.S. Marine Dakota Meyer,

and the two had a tumultuous relationship surrounding the birth of daughter Sailor Grace.

The couple finally wed in June 2016, however, and announced in December 2016 that Bristol

was expecting her third child.

Birthday party brawl

Over Labor Day weekend in 2016. Bristol and various family members reportedly engaged

in a huge brawl involving about 20 people at a birthday party in Anchorage, Alaska.

According to the Alaska Dispatch News, homeowner Korey Klingenmeyer was hosting a birthday

party for his son, twin brothers, and Bristol's dad. No charges were filed, but witnesses

claimed a "heavily intoxicated" Bristol punched Klingenmeyer repeatedly in the face.

In the police report, Bristol claimed she confronted a woman who'd pushed her sister,

but Klingenmeyer intervened, calling her names in the process. Bristol's dad and brother,

Track Palin, were also allegedly involved in the melee. If you think that's a bit out

of character for Bristol, well....

"You haven't me given one example like I've asked so if you're gonna call my mom a whore

in public I'd love to get one example."

Spitting shade

After enduring so much criticism and controversy because of her position as a famous politician's

daughter, you might think Bristol could empathize with others in her position. Think again.

In her memoir, Bristol did not paint a flattering picture of Meghan McCain, the daughter of

Arizona Senator John McCain, who ran as the Republican presidential nominee with Sarah

as his running mate in 2008. Writing about the first time she met Meghan, Bristol said

she felt "the sneaking suspicion that I might need to watch my back. Every time we saw Meghan,

she seemed to constantly be checking us out, comparing my family to hers, and complaining.

Oh, the complaining."

"There's a bunch of shotgun shells, just pew pew, going right into it."

Bristol's complaints about Meghan and her mom, Cindy McCain, went on and on in print

with anecdotes like, "I'd never seen people with so much Louis Vuitton luggage, so many

cell phones, and so many constant helpers to do hair and makeup."

Meghan didn't seem to mind the criticism, telling Playboy, "All that stuff she wrote

was a total lie... She's just young and confused and was thrust into all this. The media aren't

kind to her. But once someone signs up for Dancing With the Stars, it's hard to sympathize."

Yeah. Especially when she takes out all of her personal problems on her dancing partner

on the same show for all the world to see.

"You're just.. so weird it's just not even funny"

"What are you saying?"

"You're not there."

Yikes!

Fannie Introduces Innovative Solutions Allowing Student Debt Laden - politics - Duration: 3:20.

Fannie Introduces "Innovative Solutions" Allowing Student-Debt-Laden Millennials To Buy A Home

So what do you do when a massive student loan bubble results in crippling leverage for an

entire generation of your population rendering them financially unqualified to obtain mortgage

financing and their 'God-given right' to a slice of the 'American Dream'?

Well, you simply change the rules to allow mortgage lenders to ignore all that pesky

student debt...anything less would simply be evil and potentially racist, sexist and

all sorts of other -ist words.

Luckily, Fannie Mae is right on top of the issue and has just released new rules allowing

millennial borrowers to, among other things, simply exclude student loans, credit cards

and auto loans that are "paid by someone else"...wink wink...when applying for a new mortgage.

As an added benefit, taxpayer subsidized mortgage loans can also now be used to repay student

debt...Hooray for taxpayers!

Fannie Mae announced new policies that will help more borrowers with student debt qualify

for a home loan.

These innovations address challenges and obstacles to homeownership due to a significant increase

in student loan debt over the past decade and provide access to credit for qualified

borrowers.

The new solutions give homeowners the opportunity to pay down student debt with a mortgage refinance,

allow borrowers to exclude non-mortgage debt paid by others as part of the loan application

process, and make it more likely for borrowers with student debt to qualify for a mortgage

loan by allowing lenders to accept student debt payments included on credit reports.

Student Loan Cash-Out Refinance: Offers homeowners the flexibility to pay off high interest rate

student debt while potentially refinancing to a lower mortgage interest rate.

Debt Paid by Others: Widens borrower eligibility to qualify for a home loan by excluding from

the borrowers debt-to-income ratio non-mortgage debt, such as credit cards, auto loans, and

student loans, paid by someone else.

Student Debt Payment Calculation: Makes it more likely for borrowers with student debt

to qualify for a loan by allowing lenders to accept student loan payment information

on credit reports.

We understand the significant role that a monthly student loan payment plays in a

potential home buyers consideration to take on a mortgage, and we want to be a part

of the solution, said Jonathan Lawless, Vice President of Customer Solutions, Fannie

Mae.

These new policies provide three flexible payment solutions to future and current homeowners

and, in turn, allow lenders to serve more borrowers.

You know, because more debt is exactly the cure for millennials suffering the financial

consequences of too much debt.

But, at least this should help with inflating Housing Bubble 2.0.

Trump's new approach to domestic policy Strategic patience - Duration: 5:44.

Trump's new approach to domestic policy Strategic patience

by W. James Antle III

The new White House has given up on strategic patience when it comes to foreign affairs,

but on domestic issues, President Trump seems to have nothing but time.

That was Trump's argument on Tuesday when he was pressed on reports that he's giving

ground on border wall funding, and that other priorities, like Obamacare repeal, will also

be delayed.

"Yeah, yeah sure, we have plenty of time, got a lot of time," Trump said in response

to a question about whether the big, beautiful wall he so often promised on the campaign

trail would get built before the end of his term.

A fight over its funding has been pushed to the fall, and maybe into next year, as both

the White House and Capitol Hill seek to avoid a partial government shutdown at the end of

the week.

It's part of a broader pattern.

Asked last week if there would be a healthcare vote by this coming Friday, Trump said it

didn't matter.

"Doesn't matter if it's next week.

Next week, doesn't matter," Trump said.

"It'll happen.

You'll see what happens."

Trump appeared open to delaying Obamacare repeal even further during a reception for

conservative writers and reporters Monday evening.

"We could come back in September, but we'll see what we get now," the president said.

Trump has dismissed appraisals of his first 100 days in office as "artificial," "not very

meaningful" and "ridiculous."

But some of the Trump administration's allies are a bit more worried about the calendar,

and fear time is already growing short.

"They don't really have four years," said a Republican strategist.

"They really have about 10 months."

The White House Announces Trump's Tax Reform Plan

Washington Examiner

The reasoning behind this is that as the 2018 midterm elections approach, members of Congress

will be even more reluctant to take hard votes on Obamacare, tax reform and other contentious

issues because they will soon face the voters.

"If the Democrats win in 2018," the strategist continued, "the Trump administration is over,"

at least in terms of what it can accomplish legislatively.

This is what happened to former President Barack Obama.

He scored big legislative victories with the stimulus and Obamacare early in his first

term while he still had big Democratic majorities in both houses of Congress.

Even with Democrats still in control, Obama had difficulty advancing other agenda items

like immigration reform or cap and trade as 2010 beckoned.

Once Democrats lost control of the House later that year and Republicans retook the Senate

in 2014, Obama's legislative agenda stalled.

He had some bargains like the Budget Control Act, which he never enthusiastically supported,

but was forced to rely on executive orders to do almost anything else.

Obama did get re-elected, however.

Some Republicans are skeptical Trump could replicate that feat without delivering more

for his supporters, because Obama could at least point to the passage of Obamacare and

the stimulus.

Democrats would also gain new subpoena powers if they took over the House or Senate, allowing

them to conduct more robust hearings on Trump's finances, potential conflicts of interest

and Russian connections all with more sympathetic media coverage than the Benghazi

committee ever received.

The Trump administration and its outside supporters categorically deny that delays have become

the norm.

They point to Wednesday's coming announcement on tax reform.

They argue that they have continued to make progress on Obamacare, getting important members

of the conservative House Freedom Caucus as well as a key centrist lawmaker on board with

the latest replacement plan, with an amendment that was released late Tuesday.

Nor does the White House concede it has budged on the border wall.

"There will be a wall built," press secretary Sean Spicer insisted at Tuesday's briefing.

"Nothing has changed on the president's priorities."

Asked whether the wall funding was at least being delayed for now, Spicer shot back, "No,

no.

I never no one said delayed."

This echoes what a senior White House official told the Washington Examiner last week.

"There's going to be a wall a big, physical barrier over large swaths of the border,"

the official said.

"And that's what the president is going to deliver on."

One activist who has been influential in conservative politics since the 1994 midterm elections

swept Republicans to their first House majority in 40 years pinned the blame on Congress.

"If you look at it, the president has done as much as he can do through executive power

to deliver on his campaign promises," the activist said.

"At some point, Republicans on Capitol Hill have to hold up their end of the bargain."

"They didn't seem to spend much time finding a [healthcare] proposal they had in reserve

that was ready to launch if they prevailed in 2016," the conservative activist said.

For now, with the healthcare bill in the center of a fight between Republicans, it's become

a game of hurry up and wait for both GOP lawmakers and Trump.

The Most Hilarious Obituaries Of All Time - Duration: 4:29.

For the majority of us, death is a sad event that ushers in months of mourning.

Others, however, take a more lighthearted approach to the inevitable.

You can choose to go the route of bumming everyone out about what they've lost with

your departure from this world, or you could find a way to leave everyone you love with

one last laugh.

"Goodnight, sweet prince."

Obituaries usually list a person's achievements with some sort of noble approach that skirts

over your less fine moments.

But they're usually not very fun to read for anyone outside of the deceased's inner circle,

and even those people are probably just scanning to make sure they got a mention in the thing

anyway.

Every once in awhile, though, people with one foot in the grave manage to put together

something inspired before they kick that bucket.

"I want to be buried at sea.

It looks like fun!"

"Define 'fun.'"

"C'mon, you'll make a day of it."

Let's take a look at some of the most hilarious obituaries we've ever read.

One last confession

As he wrote in his own obituary for the Salt Lake Tribune, Val Paterson's life motto was

"Anything for a laugh."

And that includes posthumous confessions of crimes no one ever needed to know about.

Turns out, Patterson was a downright thief -- only his ploys weren't all about diamonds

or rare paintings.

He wrote, "As it turns out, I AM the guy who stole the safe from the Motor View Drive Inn

back in June, 1971.

I could have left that unsaid, but I wanted to get it off my chest.

Also, I really am NOT a Ph.D." In fact, Mr. Patterson never actually graduated college.

Instead, it was a clerical error which awarded him with not only a college diploma, but an

unearned Ph.D.

Kinda makes you wonder about all the fake nerds lurking around the world, doesn't it?

"Now that you point it out…"

"Are you kidding me?"

Oh, and that's not all.

Just to spite a "mean park ranger," the man once rolled rocks on top of a geyser to be

a jerk and managed to get banned from both Disneyland and SeaWorld.

Now, that's a life story worth reading about.

Now we're just sad 'cause he's not around to tell us more.

The coffin quarterback

Ohio native Scott E. Entsminger spent his life cheering for the Cleveland Browns, and

like many of his fellow fans, he has enjoyed a lot of disappointment as a result of that

allegiance.

"Just saying it out loud feels dirty."

So when he was nearing the red zone in his own time on the field, he decided to pull

out a trick play against his own squad.

Before Entsminger's death in 2013, the Browns had endured a solid losing streak for decades,

with one random good season plopped in every 7 years or so.

So, this man's final wish was to have six players from the Cleveland Browns act as pallbearers

for him on the day of his funeral, so, in his words "the Browns [could] let him down

one last time."

That deserves a targeting penalty for sure.

Of course, the Browns did their worst to shame him right back by offering his widow a lousy

jersey for all their troubles.

The Joker

There are few people who have had the privilege of playing the role of Batman, but how many

real people are known to have been killed by Batman?

For one, there's Stephen Merrill.

His obituary lists cause of death as an uppercut from Batman.

First of all, if this were true, we'd imagine he'd be totally okay with it, as he was apparently

a huge fan of America's beloved fictional superheroes.

That detail was really just some stand-in information that his friends and family provided

because they initially didn't know what the cause of death was, but what a way to go.

"Don't get worried about that!

Your tombstone can say whatever you want it to say.

It could say, 'Ross Geller: Good at marriage.'"

Mine's gonna say "Phoebe Buffay: buried alive."

Not only did those he left behind color in his obituary by throwing in Batman, but they

carried on the theme to the funeral service.

Those who attended wore superhero tees, played soundtracks from his favorite superhero movies,

and even provided him with a flower arrangement made to look like Captain America's shield.

If you want to die the cool way, you've got Stephen Merrill to look for for inspiration.

Keeping it simple

If there were a prize for the most economic use of an obituary word count, Fargo, North

Dakota native Doug Legler would definitely win it.

"Umm, he just, he came up with it and said all I want is, 'Doug died.'"

That is it.

That is literally all that this man wanted in his obituary.

So why go to the trouble of having two words printed at all?

It seems that during his lifetime, Doug had a habit of reading obituaries in the paper.

He also had a habit of criticizing each and every obit he read.

Since he was a man so concerned about the obituaries of strangers during his lifetime,

he wanted to give no one the ability to judge him after death.

"That's a genius move."

"Thank you."

Why We Never Got To See A District 9 Sequel - Duration: 5:09.

In 2009, District 9 became the surprise hit movie of the year.

On a budget of just $30 million, the movie went on to make $210 million at the worldwide

box office and was nominated for four Academy Awards, including Best Motion Picture.

Although it didn't win any Oscars, District 9's breakout success was an impressive feat

for an indie sci-fi film out of South Africa with a first-time writer/director that featured

no movie stars.

So why wasn't a sequel to District 9 ever made?

Here's why.

A standalone story

According to District 9 mastermind Neill Blomkamp, he wasn't even thinking about making a sequel

while writing, directing, and editing the film.

Since Blomkamp was only planning on making a standalone film, he didn't set up the overall

story arc was for a sequel or a franchise.

It was only after the film was edited that Blomkamp realized there was room for a sequel,

but he still had no idea where that sequel would go.

He also toyed around with making a prequel instead.

Blomkamp told Hero Complex in 2010:

"I'm not so interested in aliens coming back and blowing things up but [a prequel] might

be interesting."

Obviously that idea never left the ground either, and it wasn't until 2015 that Blomkamp

said that he had a "really cool idea" for a District 9 sequel.

Does that mean that a sequel is finally on the way?

At the moment, it doesn't look likely.

Original films

In a perfect world, production on a District 9 sequel would have started shortly after

the first one was released.

However, without an idea for the sequel, Blomkamp instead used the success of District 9 to

get another original sci-fi film into production within months of District 9's release.

That movie was Elysium, which he worked on until late 2012.

While shooting Elysium, Blomkamp and his wife/co-screenwriter, Terri Tatchell, wrote the script for Chappie

in two weeks, and after Elysium wrapped, they immediately started working on that.

Production on that movie lasted into 2014, and it was released in theaters in February

2015.

So yeah, those movies kept Blomkamp pretty busy post-District 9.

Blomkamp told Rolling Stone that if he were to do the sequel properly, it would take three

years to make.

That's a big time commitment, all while the movie that set it all off recedes into fans'

memories...

Other projects

Chappie was released in May 2015, and although there hasn't been much news about the director

since then, Blomkamp has definitely been busy.

In April 2017, Blomkamp revealed on Twitter that he would be making "experimental" short

films for the video game platform, Steam.

That's a big change from big-budget sci-fi flicks, although at this point in his career

it's certainly less risky than taking a chance on a sequel to District 9.

Blomkamp was also briefly attached to direct a fifth entry in the Alien series, going so

far as to release tantalizing unofficial concept art on Instagram, but unfortunately, that

project probably isn't happening.

In January 2017, Blomkamp tweeted the awful truth: the chances of his Alien movie ever

moving forward are "slim," echoing an earlier tweet that the movie was set aside pending

the success or failure of Alien: Covenant.

That doesn't mean that Blomkamp's blockbuster days are over.

After all, this wouldn't be the first time Blomkamp has bounced back after being sidelined

on a high-profile film project.

Originally, Blomkamp was picked by Peter Jackson to direct a movie based on the Halo video

game franchise.

When Halo fell through, Jackson agreed to produce District 9 based on Blomkamp's 2006

short film "Alive in Joberg."

In other words, the fact that Blomkamp hasn't made a movie for several years now doesn't

mean that a District 9 sequel will never happen...although it seems to be getting less and less likely.

Sharlto Copley is busy, too

Although he looks different at the end of the film, Sharlto Copley is the face of District

9.

In his breakout role as the delightfully clueless bureaucrat, the South African actor wowed

international audiences and launched his Hollywood career.

"But I don't trust it.

I don't trust anything tha-...

Pwwwwww!"

"You alright mate?"

"Vickers, you alright?"

"Cut it!"

After Chappie, Copley's third collaboration with Neill Blomkamp, the actor went on to

star in the Playstation series Powers and the action thriller Free Fire.

As busy as he is, though, Copley has made it clear that he'd gladly reprise his role

if a District 9 sequel ever materialized.

Too hard to follow up?

District 9 ended on a cliffhanger, and the universe of the film is rich with themes and

storylines to explore.

Copley wants to do a sequel, and the movie was a huge success for Peter Jackson's production

company.

In Hollywood, that combination usually adds up to a guaranteed sequel.

And yet the furthest in development that the District 9 sequel got was an 18-page treatment.

One reason for that may be because District 9 was too big of a hit.

Its commentary on social segregation, xenophobia, and racism blended perfectly with its sci-fi

aesthetic, all of which helped make it an overwhelming success for the first-time writer/director.

That's a hard act to follow — even when the act you're following is your own.

Oukitel C3 | Thes Unboxing GR+Eng Subs - Duration: 8:07.

Hello and welcome to another video by Thes Unboxing! I am John and behind the camera is Aliki

Today we are going to show you a phone

But before we start, don't forget to Subscribe and press the bell so you will get notifications

Today we are going to show you an Oukitel C3 Let's check what's inside the box

This is the Oukitel C3 with an orange box like last time

If anyone wants to see another Oukitel, the K4000 pro to be specific, you can find a link in the description

Let's check out the box

5-inch screen, android 6.0 Marshmallow, 8GB ROM, 1GB RAM

It has 2G/3G, it doesn't have 4G

It has a 3D diamond design

It supports gravity sensor, proximity sensor, light sensor And it is a dual sim, dual stand by

Before we open the box, we can see here it comes in white, black, clear blue, black gold

(no idea what colour that is, I suppose gold), dark blue, white gold....

I predict something with white and gold

Here we have the phone

A Micro-USB cable

A European type charger which looks like most chargers, but this one is made by Oukitel

and it charges at 0.5A

A quick start guide

Which is in English, German, Italian, a lot of languages except Greek

We weren't expecting Greek anyway

Let's check the phone

As you can see it looks like a diamond, I don't know if you can see on the camera

When I saw it on a picture I didn't like it but now that I hold it in my hands I think it's an ok design, I don't mind it

On the back, we can see the camera 8MP, a LED flash

A bit lower we can see the speaker

The logo from Oukitel as well as the CE number and the site of Oukitel

The CE number means that it complies with the European standards

On the top, we can see the jack for our hands-free and the Micro-USB slot

On the bottom, there is a microphone

On the left side, it has nothing but on the right side it has the volume and power buttons

On the front, it has a camera which is 0.3MP, the speaker and here I suppose this is the light sensor

And on the lower part there are 3 touch screen buttons

Let's open it

After we open it we can see the battery which is at 2000mAh

2 sim cards and a Micro SD at the same time

With this battery, 2000mAh, Oukitel promises 2-3 days standby time

We don't know how long it will last

Let's see how it works

The screen of the phone is bright enough

It has a skin on top that looks a lot like stock Android, like every other Oukitel

With a 5-inch HD screen

It has the Mediatech 6580 CPU, which is a 4 core CPU, clocked at 1.3gHz

With 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM as we've said before

The main camera, at the rear, is 8MP whilst the front facing camera is 2MP

We've read different specs on the site

It has the Android 6.0 Marshmallow installed

It benched a score of 22000 on AnTuTu

AnTuTu Is a program that benchmarks the power of the phone

The score isn't enough to grade the phone

But it isn't a very expensive phone so we can compare it with other phones

It's a cheap phone you can get as a second phone or for someone who doesn't use phones that much

Let's check the camera

Here is our helper to take a picture of

From what I can see, the photo looks nice as we have a lot of lighting

You know this channel has very nice lighting

Here the photo looks very nice and I can say that the camera is 8mp

But in this case, there isn't enough lighting because it increases the ISO, low light performance is very weak

But if there is good lighting the photos come out very nice

You can find a link bellow to see the photos

The phone has Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio

I think it's a nice and cheap phone

It has a helper on the side here as well

This was the oukitel c3

Very attractive design and sturdy

Looks very nice I think it will last a while

I am satisfied with Oukitel

We thank Lina for lending us the phone
