Waching daily Apr 3 2017

Hey guys hope you're having a great day,

thank you so much for watching Beyond Science,

it's Mikey Chen.

When we think of dinosaurs and humans,

we never associate them with each other

because they supposedly belonged to completely different time periods.

Dinosaurs were prehistoric reptiles

that appeared during the middle to late Triassic period of the Mesozoic era,

which is around 230 million years ago.

They were members of a subclass of reptiles

that included birds and crocodiles

And got their name from the ancient Greek word 'deino" meaning terrible

and 'sauros' which means lizard or reptiles.

Dinosaurs first sparked people curiosities in the 1820s

when scientists found huge bones of an unknown reptile in the English countryside.

Ever since then,

dinosaurs have been favorite of children and adults

probably because they're extinct and can no longer eat us.

Their sheer size and uniqueness has inspired many documentaries, movies and stories alike.

Humans, on the other hand,

according to scientists,

are relatively new to earth compared to the large lizards,

while our ancestors have been around for about 60 million years

modern human evolved about 200,000 years ago

that means that humans and dinosaurs never co- existed

much less interact with each other, right?

And although many people believe that

it's impossible for humans and dinosaurs to have co-existed,

there have been clues from fossils, paintings, ancient sculptures and more

that tell a slightly different story,

implying that humans did in fact interact with these ginormous lizards.

I know this is a super controversial topic

but it's also really interesting.

So, here are some clues for the coexistence of humans and dinosaurs

Hear it out and make your own decisions.

One of the clues was found in May of 2012

when the brown horn of a Triceratops

was excavated in Dawson County, Montana

that was dated to around 33,500 years ago

Triceratops, a name that means 3-horned face

is believed to have first appeared during the Cretaceous period

around 68 million years ago.

And became extinct after around two million years.

The Triceratops brown horn found in Montana

was stored at the Glendive Dinosaur and Fossil Museum

which sent a sample the outer portion of the horn to the Paleochronology group

and wanted to carry out Carbon 14 dating.

The head of the Paleochronology group, Hugh Miller

then sent the sample to the University of Georgia for that exact purpose.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Carbon 14 dating,

it's basically the way to find the age of certain artifacts with biological origins

up to around 54,000 years old.

Carbon 14 was never used to test dinosaur bones in the past

because like I mentioned

it's only reliable up to 55,000 years.

But that's only because scientists thought

that it was useless to test bones, had belonged to creatures

that became extinct 65 million years ago.

Because of this, methods such as radiometric dating of volcanic layers

is typically used to test dinosaur bones

which yielded results that were more based on assumption.

It became clear years ago

that paleontologists were not just neglecting the test dinosaur bones for c14 content

but were refusing, too.

After the Triceratops brown horn sample

was sent to the University of Georgia for C14 testing,

it was divided at the lab into two fractions.

One fraction yielded an age

of 33,507 plus or minus 120 years,

and the other an age of

41,010 plus or minus 220 years

The reason why they splited the sample into two fractions was because

it reduce the possibility for errors.

The C14 test results

that came out were not surprising to the Paleochronology group

because they had carried out the test on dinosaur bones before.

All the results date back to thousands of years

instead of millions of years

A model created by the group in 2003 showed that

dinosaur bones had C14

that range from 22,000 to 39,000 years.

Another discovery came in the form of soft tissue

found in dinosaur fossils in March of 2005.

According to paleontologist, Mary Schweitzer,

the soft tissue was discovered inside a 68 million years old T-rex leg bone from Montana.

But researchers were able to rehydrate the tissue

and proved the existence of blood vessels, blood matrix and connective tissue

This is really strange

because scientists had previously believed

that tissue proteins are support to degrade

in a million years or less,

even in the best of conditions,

indicating that the bone belonged to a T-rex

that most likely died less than a million years ago.

What's more, a small Ceratopsia,

dinosaur that lived approximately 70 million years ago

was actually carved by the Hongshan culture

a Neolithic culture in Northeastern China.

The carving was made out of jade

and looks exactly like a Montanoceratops.

In addition, Marco Polo also recorded

that he saw a 50-foot reptile in 1100 AD

with quote: "Jaws large enough to swallow a man

and a tail so heavy

it left a trail in the sand as if a heavy beam had been dragged across.

There are many more examples of humans and dinosaurs coexisting

from the Ica stone that were carved around 1,500 in Peru

that show images of dinosaurs

to the Indian arrowheads found in the late 1800s

that will mixed together with Iguanadons

Duck-billed Dinosaurs, Ichthyosaur and Plesiosaur fossils.

So maybe dinosaurs did not die off as early as we have previously thought.

Or there may have been a few stragglers

that made it to the extinction.

So let me defer the question to you guys.

Do you believe that humans, at one point, coexisted with dinosaurs?

Do you believe The Flintstones are actually happened (Một bộ phim hoạt hình của Mỹ)

well, not to that extent, right? (không chỉ trên phim hoạt hình)

And if so, how did they not just eat us all?

Thank you so much for watching this video.

I'll see you later.

Chicago Justice - Genetic Destiny (Episode Highlight) - Duration: 2:16.

- You mind?

- Please.

- Hey. - Hi.

- You know, you missed happy hour

by, like, five hours.

- [chuckles] That was intentional.

- Ah, I'm with you on that. What's to be happy about?

Except, of course, half price drinks.

- My old man was a drunk.

Mm, once when I was 12, I, uh,

found him after a bender.

Puke on his shoes and piss on his pants.

He was one tough bastard.

When he saw me, he just cried.

Told me to look the other way.

- He didn't want his little girl to know.

- Yeah, well, next time I found him, it was in the driveway.

He couldn't even make it into the house.

Or he thought he was already in bed.

I'm not really sure.

I pick him up and we start walking inside

and I ask him why.

He said, "Ladybug--"

Don't you ever call me that, by the way.

"It's just the way it is. I can't stop."

- We all make choices, Laura.

- Yeah, well, for me it was like

I was in the middle of Lake Michigan

in a row boat that sprung a leak.

Sure, I got it plugged in time.

Who knows? Maybe there is something to genetics.

- Your DNA didn't buy those pills.

Your DNA didn't make you swallow them.

- All I'm saying is, if he wasn't my father,

maybe Dawson's not the chief investigator.

Maybe I'm calling the shots now.

Maybe I get to rush home

to take care of my kid after work.

How Meghan Markle should be addressed if she marries Prince Harry - Duration: 1:54.

Actress and activist Meghan Markle met the Queen on Mother's Day.

The fact the US lady is meeting members of the royal family is only fuelling rumours

that she'll one day be more than Prince Harry's girlfriend.

Marriage beckons, does it not?

Right now, we don't know.

It's early days and while we can't help but speculate, speculate is all we can do.

If she does wed the ginger prince, there'll be the matter of her title.

Much like there was when Prince William and Kate Middleton who, like Meghan, was a 'commoner'

 got married.

We know what Meghan won't be is a princess.

Not technically.

As Meghan wasn't born royal, she doesn't qualify.

But she might still have the word 'princess' in her official title.

Harry is currently "His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales."

And royal family expert Imogen Lloyd Webber recently said that Markle would "definitely"

be called "Her Royal Highness Princess Henry of Wales" were she to commit her life to her

prince.

She wouldn't be known as "Princess Meghan", just as Kate isn't "Princess Kate".

She'd be marrying into royalty, an altogether different measure of prestige.

No blue blood.

But then there's also the matter of Harry and the fact he could well be made the Duke

of Sussex after marrying.

After, the Queen would also probably make Meghan a duchess.

Webber suspects this eventuality, as does royal historian Marlene Koenig.

The Duke of Sussex title has been available since 1843, as have Clarence and Buckingham.

If that happens, Meghan would be known cordially as the Duchess of Sussex.

CloseUP: Gov. Sununu on state budget, kindergarten, addiction crisis, voting laws - Duration: 12:10.

JOSH: THIS SUNDAY ON "CLOSE UP,"

WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE STATE

BUDGET.

WHAT GOVERNOR SUNUNU WANTED TO

WHAT YOU MIGHT GET.

PLUS, I GET WHEN PROPOSAL THAT

HAS BEEN TOUCHED AS WELL.

FROM RUSSIA MEDDLING TO HEALTH

CARE IN AMERICA TO TOUGHER

VOTING LAWS.

OUR ROUNDTABLE BREAKS DOWN THE

LANDSCAPE.

I'M JUST MCELVEEN.

-- JOSH MCELVEEN.

GOVERNOR SUNUNU GAVE AN ADDRESS

ON HOW THE STATE WILL SPEND ITS

DOLLARS.

WELL IT'S A LONG PROCESS, SAFE

TO SAY IT WAS NOT A CARBON COPY

OF THE GOVERNOR'S PROPOSAL.

WHAT DOES HE THINK ABOUT IT?

GOVERNOR, GOOD TO SEE.

YOU.

THERE'S OBVIOUSLY A LOT OF

DIFFERENCES AND YOU POINTED OUT

IMMEDIATELY THAT THIS IS A LONG

PROCESS AND NEGOTIATIONS, BUT

LET'S START WITH KINDERGARTEN.

THAT IS SOMETHING YOU TALKED

ABOUT AND IT WAS NOT THERE FROM

HOUSE FINANCE.

WAS A DISAPPOINTING?

GOV. SUNUNU: IT WAS

DISAPPOINTING, BUT IT'S NOT THE

END OF THE ROAD BY ANY MEANS.

WE TRIED TO GRADE A BUDGET

FISCALLY CONSERVATIVE THAT

FOCUSED ON THE PRIORITIES OF THE

STATE.

WE TALKED ABOUT THE DIVISION OF

CHILDREN, YOUTH, AND FAMILIES IN

KINDERGARTEN COMING UP TO PAR

WITH THE REST OF THE

COUNTRY.

WE CREATED A PROGRAM THAT TAKES

THAT KINDERGARTEN PEACE AND

TARGETED TO AREAS OF LOW INCOME,

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE,

AREAS WE KNOW WE NEED TO CLOSE

THE OPPORTUNITY GAP, SO KIDS

ENTERING THE FIRST GRADE ARE

REALLY ON THE SAME PAGE AND THEY

CAN REALLY PUSH FORWARD WITH

THEIR EDUCATIONAL CAREER.

THERE'S A LOT TO IT

.

THE SENATE DID PASS YESTERDAY A

STAND-ALONE BILL THAT FINANCED

FULLY FUNDED KINDERGARTEN.

REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS ALIKE

WERE ON BOARD AND THEY WILL SEND

THAT BILL STAND-ALONE BACK TO

THE HOUSE AND HOPEFULLY WE GET

THAT PASSED.

JOSH: IF IT IS REVIVED, IT WILL

GO TO THE SENATE, WHICH IS A

GOOD SIGN FOR ALL THEY CAN

GARDEN.

GOV. SUNUN IT WILL COME OUT OF

THE HOUSE HARDLY NEXT WEEK AND

THE SENATE WILL ADD AND SUBTRACT

AND DO THEIR THING AND WE WILL

GET A COMMITTEE OF CONFERENCE.

THAT IS WHERE WE WILL GET MORE

INVOLVED AND HASH IT OUT AND

FIGURE OUT WHAT THE BEST PLAN IS

FOR THE STATE OF NATURE.

JOSH: LET ME GET A COUPLE OF

THINGS THAT FLEW UNDER THE

RADAR, SPECIFICALLY LOTTERY

CHANGES THAT WOULD INCLUDE KENO

HERE IN NEW HAMPSHIRE, WHICH IS

NOT LEGAL, AND MOBILE SERVICES,

AND APP FOR THE LOTTERY.

WHAT'S YOUR TAKE?

GOV. SUNUNU: I DON'T MIND KENO

. I'M NOT PASSIONATE ONE WAY OR

THE OTHER.

I'M STILL CONCERNED ABOUT BUYING

LOTTERY TICKETS ONLINE OVER THE

INTERNET.

I'M NOT SAYING NO, BUT I HAVE

CONCERNS.

WE WANT FOLKS GOING INTO

THOSE GROCERY STORES.

IT CAN HAVE AN IMPACT THERE.

IT COULD POTENTIALLY RAISE

BENEFITS.

THERE COULD BE INCIDENTAL

CONSEQUENCES THOMAS OF THE

LOTTERY COMMISSION DOES A GREAT

JOB IN NEW HAMPSHIRE.

WE WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT

WHATEVER WE DO GOING FORWARD

KEEPS IT ROBUST AND STRONG.

JOSH: THE TOP ISSUE OF THE

STATE'S PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY

WITH THE OPIOID AND HEROIN

CRISIS.

IS THERE CONSENSUS THAT NO

MATTER HOW THESE DOLLARS ARE

APPLIED THAT EVERYBODY HAS THE

SAME SENSE OF URGENCY AND

RECOGNIZES THE NEED THAT THIS

EXISTS?

GOV. SUNUNU: I HOPE SO.

I CAN'T SPEAK FOR EVERYONE TO

SOME OF THE MONEY IN THE ALCOHOL

FUND WAS RESTORED.

WE HAVE A LOT OF PROJECTS.

IT'S A NUMBER ONE CRISIS ARE

STATE FACES.

I WAS THE FIRST GOVERNOR IN 17

YEARS TO ATTEND THE GOVERNOR'S

COMMISSION ON DRUG AND ALCOHOL

ABUSE IN THE STATE.

I WASN'T TRYING TO SET ANY

RECORDS.

IT IS THE GOVERNOR'S, BUT WE ARE

TAKING A HANDS-ON APPROACH.

WE HAVE SOME OF THE BEST AND

BRIGHTEST FOLKS AS PART OF THAT

GROUP.

I WANT TO LISTEN TO THEIR IDEAS.

WHEN YOU DO THAT AND GET INTO

THOSE DETAILS, THAT'S HOW YOU'RE

GOING TO GET THE BEST

RECOMMENDATIONS GOING FORWARD,

WHETHER YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT

RECOVERY OR PREVENTION OR

TREATMENT.

ALL THESE THINGS COME INTO PLAY.

WE HAVE SOME RESOURCES NOW.

WE NEED TO INCREASE THOSE

RESOURCES AND BE VERY HANDS-ON

ABOUT HOW WE GO ABOUT

IMPLEMENTING THEM IN GETTING THE

RESULTS WE NEED.

JOSH: LET ME ASK YOU MORE ABOUT

THE CALL FUN.

-- ALCOHOL FUND.

SOME SAID LET'S DO AWAY WITH

THIS THING AND IT'S NEVER FULLY

FUNDED AND LET'S JUST DO

DIRECTOR PERFORATIONS TO BE MORE

EFFECTIVE.

IS THERE MERIT TO THAT ARGUMENT?

GOV. SUNUNU: I'M NOT IN FAVOR OF

THAT PATHWAY TO BE HONEST.

I WANTED TO DOUBLE THE ALCOHOL

FUNDS.

IT ALLOWS THOSE APPROPRIATIONS

TO BE FOCUSED TO THAT SPECIFIC

ME.

WHEN YOU MAKE AN APPROPRIATION

STRAIGHT OUT OF THE GENERAL FUND

THAT IS NOT SPECIFIC, IT IS VERY

EASY FOR THAT TO DISAPPEAR OR

GET SWEPT AWAY INTO ANOTHER

PROGRAM.

I LIKE THAT IT IS TARGETED THE

WAY THAT IT IS DESIGNED

NOW.

GIVEN THAT IT'S THE HIGHEST

HEALTH CARE CRISIS ARE STATE IS

FACING, IT'S SOMETHING WE TO

FOCUS ON.

JOSH: SENATE BILL THREE PASS THE

SENATE AS EXPECTED DOWN PARTY

LINES.

TOUGH IDENTIFICATION STANDARDS

ONE AGAINST THE POLLS.

GOV. SUNUNU: STRENGTHENS.

JOSH POTATO, POTATO.

MOST DEMOCRATS AREN'T AND

SENATOR SAID THIS IS ALL MIRAGE

CREATED MOSTLY BY DONALD TRUMP

WITH THE STATEMENT OF WIDESPREAD

VOTER FRAUD COMING OUT HERE.

WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF THIS BILL

AND DO YOU FEEL LIKE SOME

REPUBLICANS DO THAT IT DOES NOT

GO FAR ENOUGH?

GOV. SUNUNU: THIS IS NOTHING TO

DO WITH DONALD TRUMP FIRST AND

FOREMOST.

THESE ALLEGATIONS OF VOTER FRAUD

-- I'VE NO EVIDENCE OF VOTER

FRAUD IN THE STATE.

SOME OF OUR VOTER LAWS COMPARED

TO THE REST OF THE COUNTRY ARE

AMBIGUOUS.

I DON'T WANT TO SAY THEY ARE

BEING ABUSED BECAUSE THEY ARE SO

LOOSE.

THE DEFINITION OF WHAT IS

DOMICILE AND WHAT IS A RESIDENT

-- THEY ARE SO LOOSE.

IT IS A MATTER OF PUTTING

INTEGRITY INTO THE SYSTEM.

THIS IS A MEASURE THAT IS BEING

SUPPORTED BY SECRETARY OF STATE

BILL GARDNER, ONE OF THE FIRST

AND FOREMOST AUTHORITIES ON

VOTER LAW IN THE COUNTRY.

TO SAY THAT THIS IS SOME SORT OF

PARTISAN MEASURE, IT'S NOT.

IT'S ABOUT STRENGTHENING OUR

SYSTEM, A SYSTEM WE TAKE VERY

SERIOUSLY IN THE STATE OF NEW

HAMPSHIRE.

JOSH: YOU DID NOT WANT TO USE

THE ADJECTIVE OF ABUSE, BUT THE

SECRETARY OF STATE HAS, SAYING A

LOT OF PEOPLE ARE ABUSING IT AND

VIOLATING THE SPIRIT OF IT WITH

NO INTENTION TO LIVE HERE AND

MAY BE WORKING A COUPLE OF WEEKS

ON A CAMPAIGN AND VOTING.

SINCE 2012, THE SPONSOR OF THE

BILL SAYS THAT 2200 CHALLENGE

LETTERS GO OUT TO VERIFY

ADDRESSES RETURNED

UNDELIVERABLE.

WE LIVE IN A SMALL STATE COULD

ARGUE A

.

ARE YOU AT ALL CONCERNED THAT IF

IT'S NOT ADDRESSED THAT WE CAN

HAVE NATIONAL EMBARRASSMENT?

GOV. SUNUNU: WITHOUT A DOUBT.

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT WE ARE

TRYING TO DEAL WITH HERE.

THERE'S CLEARLY A PROBLEM WITH

THE SYSTEM.

I'M NOT GOING TO SAY IT'S FRAUD.

THAT IMPLIES SOMETHING ILLEGALS

HAPPENING.

THERE'S A LOT OF AMBIGUITY AND

GRAY AREAS.

JUST TIGHTEN THOSE GRAY AREAS UP

LIKE VIRTUALLY EVERY OTHER STATE

IN THE COUNTRY HAS DONE.

WE ARE BEHIND THE TIMES YOU.

WE ARE THE FIRST IN THE NATION

PRIMARY.

WITH THAT COMES THE

RESPONSIBILITY OF A FULL

INTEGRITY PRIMARY.

JOSH: HOW DISAPPOINTED WERE YOU

AND REPUBLICANS TO NOT HAVE A

REPLACEMENT TO THE AFFORDABLE

CARE ACT?

GOV. SUNUNU: I WASN'T FULLY

AGAINST IT.

I WAS SIBLEY SAYING WE NEED TO

AMEND IT.

WE NEED TO PROVIDE FLEXIBILITY

AND FOR THE STATES.

WE NEED TO GET RID OF THESE

UNFUNDED MANDATES THAT ARE OUT

THERE, THE MANDATES THAT PEOPLE

HAVE TO BUY HEALTH CARE BUT

HEALTH CARE WITH A WHOLE LITANY

OF THINGS THAT MIGHT NOT REALLY

PERTAIN TO THEM.

WE ARE NOT GIVING THE PURCHASER

THE FREEDOM.

FIRST OF ALL, WE ARE FORCING

THEM TO PURCHASE SOMETHING THEY

MIGHT NOT WANT AND WE ARE NOT

GIVING FREEDOMS WITHIN THAT

SYSTEM.

THERE IS NO MORE FREE MARKET AND

THE INSURANCE SYSTEM RIGHT NOW.

THERE REALLY IS AN

ISN'T.

THE PREMIUMS HAVE SKYROCKETED.

WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE GO DOWN.

THEY HAVEN'T.

WE WERE TOLD HE WOULD BE ABLE TO

KEEP YOUR DOCTOR.

YOU ARE NECESSARILY ABLE TO DO

THAT EITHER.

AS PREMIUMS SKYROCKET, THAT'S

ALL BECAUSE THEY ARE

SKYROCKETING OVER THE POLITICAL

WINDS OF WASHINGTON, NOT THE

FREE MARKET DYNAMICS.

WE HAVE TO TURN INSURANCE

COMPANIES AND PROVIDERS TO A

FREE MARKET SYSTEM AND YOU DO

THAT BY ALLOWING STATES TO HAVE

LOTS ABILITY AND DESIGNING THAT

SYSTEM.

THE ORIGINAL PROPOSAL DIDN'T DO

THAT.

IT DID NOT PASS AT ALL.

I'M STILL VERY HOPEFUL THAT THEY

WILL COME BACK TO THE TABLE

SOMETIME IN THE SHORT TERM,

MAYBE IN THE SUMMER OR LATER

THIS FALL, AND REALLY PUT

SOMETHING ON THE TABLE THAT

PROVIDES STATES THE FLEXIBILITY

TO GET THE JOB DONE.

JOSH: WHERE DOES THIS LEAVE THE

FUTURE OF MEDICAID EXPANSION OR?

?

WE HAVE 50,000 PEOPLE ON THE

ROLES HERE BECAUSE OF THE

AFFORD WILL CARE ACT.

-- THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT.

FROM WHAT WE HAVE RIGHT NOW, HOW

DO YOU GO FORWARD?

GOV. SUNUNU: MEDICAID EXPANSION

WILL BE TAKEN UP BY THE STATE

NEXT SPRING AS ORIGINALLY

INTENDED.

MY HOPE IS THAT WASHINGTON

FIGURES OUT WHAT KIND OF

PLATFORM AND FOUNDATION THAT

WILL PROVIDE SOMETIME THIS FALL.

IN DOING SO, WE CAN HAVE MORE

FLEXIBILITY WITH THE DOLLARS

COMING IN TO DESIGN A SYSTEM

THAT MEETS PEOPLE'S NEEDS.

PEOPLE AT UNDERSTAND RIGHT NOW

THAT THE STATE DOES NOT PAY FOR

ANY OF EXPANDED MEDICAID.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PAYS 95%

AND 5% IS PICKED UP BY THE

PRIVATE SECTOR.

NO STATE DOLLARS GOING TO THAT

SYSTEM.

IF MEDICAID GETS COMPLETELY CHOP

DOWN TO 50% IN TERMS OF THE

FEDERAL SHARE, IT WILL BE A

TOUGH IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND.

THAT'S NOT JUST FOR NEW

HAMPSHIRE BUT VIRTUALLY EVERY

STATE IN THE COUNTRY.

THIS ONLY EXISTS BECAUSE THE

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT KICKS IN SUCH

A LARGE PROPORTION OF IT.

WHAT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DOES

REALLY IS GOING TO HAVE AN

IMPACT ON HOW WE CAN GO FORWARD

IF AT ALL.

JOSH: THERE'S A LOT OF THINGS WE

COULD BE TALKING ABOUT.

WE ONLY HAVE A COUPLE OF MINUTES

LESS.

GOV. SUNUNU: NEXT TIME YOU HAVE

TO LET ME INTERVIEW YOU.

THAT WOULD BE SOMETHING.

SERIOUSLY THE STORIES YOU MUST

HAVE OVER THE PAST 20 YEARS IN

THIS BUSINESS.

FINALLY WE CAN TELL THEM AND WHO

BETTER TO TELL THEM THE

GOVERNOR?

[LAUGHTER]

JOSH: HE HAS GOT ME THERE.

WE WILL TALK ABOUT THIS AT

ANOTHER TIME.

FOR YOU, THE JOB OF GOVERNMENT

-- ARE YOU ENJOYING IT?

GOV. SUNUNU: I LOVE IT.

IT'S A LOT OF WORK.

THE ONE THING I WILL TAKE A LOT

OF CREDIT FOR IS THAT I BUILT A

GREAT TEAM.

WE SET A PRIORITY OF CHANGING

THE TONE OF POLITICS.

NATIONALLY WE KNOW HOW UGLY IT

IS.

IT IS BIPARTISAN, BLACK OR

WHITE, WITH US OR AGAINST US.

THAT IS NOT THE WAY WE SHOULD DO

IT IN NEW HAMPSHIRE.

WE HAVE GOT TO WORK ACROSS THE

LINES AND WE HAVE GOT TO SAY'S

POSITIVE.

WE HAVE TO ESTABLISH PERSONAL

RELATIONSHIPS AND MAKE SURE

THOSE ARE THE FOUNDATIONS OF

GETTING THINGS DONE AT THE LOCAL

AND STATE LEVEL SO WE DO NOT LET

PARTISAN POLITICS TO STAKE US

APART.

KINDERGARTEN IS A BIPARTISAN

MEASURE.

THERE'S A HUNDRED OTHER EXAMPLES

OUT THERE, BUT AGAIN, IT DOESN'T

MEAN WE WANT A STATE OF A STATE

OTHER ONE BEING INDEPENDENT

NECESSARILY, BUT IT'S OK TO GET

ALONG WITH FOLKS THAT MIGHT NOT

BE AGREEING WITH THE

POLITICALLY.

IT'S OK TO HAVE A CUP OF COFFEE

WITH SOMEONE AND SHARE SANDWICH

IF NECESSARY WITH FOLKS TO HAVE

THOSE DISCUSSIONS.

THAT IS THE NEW TONE WE ARE

SENDING HERE AND I'M HAVING A

GREAT TIME DOING IT.

JOSH: LESS THAN 30 SECONDS --

ARE YOU ANXIOUS TO TAKE OUT THE

BLACKROCK?

HAW

K?

GOV. SUNUN I LOVE TO GO FOR A

RIDE, BUT AS LONG AS I DON'T

NEED TO BE I IT, I'LL BE SAFE

IN I WOULD KEEP TWO FEET ON THE

GROUND.

JOSH: AS A RESIDENT OF THE

STATE, ROOTING FOR YOUR SUCCESS.

GOV. SUNUNU: GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR

NEXT VENTURE.

THIS AREA OF HIS DISTRICT.

>> ONE IS TOO MANY, SO WE WANT

TO KEEP WORKING TO IMPROVE IT.

WE'VE DONE A LOT OVER THE YEARS

TO MAKE IT SAFER BUT THERE'S

STILL A LOT OF CHALLENGE

NATALIE: CHALLENGES RESIDENTS

LIKE VERMA JONES BELIEVE CAN BE

ADDRESSED WITH MORE COMMUNITY
