Waching daily Apr 5 2017

The Sanshing, a three string guitar or banjo, is an Okinawan musical instrument and precursor to the more popular Shamisen.

Unlike Shamisen however, Sanshing are traditionally made of bamboo and

covered with the skin of the Burmese or reticulated python.

Okinawa Sanshin is by far one of my favorite Japanese traditional music styles.

I was lucky enough that day to be able to shoot a few clips of a small concert held in the lobby of our hotel.

Are You Ready For The April Pink Full Moon 11 April 2017

By consciousreminder

This months full moon, known as the pink moon, will not be as spectacular as the prior

super-moon.

In fact, its just the opposite.

This time around, the moon will be furthest from the earth, making the moon appear much

smaller.

Why is it called a pink moon?

Why of course its spring!

The name pink moon is a native name, derived from the early pink blooms of phlox.

Other names for the april full moon include egg moon and sprouting grass moon.

Does the moon actually appear pink?

Not really, same as a blue moon isnt really blue.

Is the moon masculine or feminine?

Language has developed with assignment of gender to objects.

The German language, and even the ancient Sanskrit language associate the sun with feminine,

and the moon with masculine.

But english sways toward the french interpretation, stating the moon is feminine, while the sun

is masculine.

The french interpretation does seem to make more sense, with the moon associated to cycles.

The cloaking of the moon by moon phases and eclipses also ties in to mystical, inward,

and intuitive meaning.

A moon is a moon, but like any other object in (or near) this world, people have studied

and analyzed, and assigned symbolic meaning to the moon.

Here are some of the symbolic meanings associated with the moon:

Cycles: birth through death (waxing and waning) Immortality

Reflection Symbol of the soul (astrology)

Mans ability to adapt (horoscope) Inner intuitive self

Yin side of Yin and Yang (relationship) Time for days, and years (Bible)

Full Pink moon and intuitive meaning

You can look at most everything around you and find some level of intuitive meaning.

Today lets delve into the intuitive meaning of a full pink moon.

These ideas are all thoughts that you can use in meditation, or for personal acknowledgement

of your accomplishments.

Give attention to both your full moon moments, when you are bright and shining,

and also the many phases that lead to and follow your full moon moments.

Not every day (or night) is bright and shiny.

Some accomplishments are simple, quiet, and may go unnoticed.

Routine may seem boring, but each step can be an important step in achieving success.

Celebrate it all, both your full moon moments and all the steps youve taken to support

who you are today.

Focus on the silence, the night, and the time you are given to rejuvenate.

We know the importance of sleep.

What about rejuvenation during your waking hours.

How do you give rest and replenishing for the body, emotion, mind, and spirit?

Give each of these levels a gift of awareness and appreciation.

Here, this is for you.

Thank you, I love you. Remember that the moon cycle is the most natural

symbol of the passage of time.

We are blessed with our ability to remember and ability to plan for the future.

Take a moment to recall your focus back to the present moment.

You can add a blessing as you regroup your attention and energy: I give thanks for

every moment, and dedicate my soul to making every moment count.

What Effect Will the Pink Full Moon Have on Me?

I think you are in for a treat as there are many exciting things in the sky.

Some astrologers have called this April Full Moon Lady Luck as shes near Jupiter,

so unexpected good fortune might come your way.

There is something to always consider when youre looking at a Full Moon you shall

reap what you sow.

This means that if you have been working hard and laying down good foundations, you will

be successful.

A positive way to look at this is that we still have a week to go, so there is time

to do some clean-up work in your life if thats what you have to do.

집에서 하는 셀프 속눈썹 파마 l 래쉬 펌 l DIY Lash Lift 👀 Lash Perm (KOR CC) - Duration: 8:32.

Hey, guys! Welcome to my channel.

Before doing my eye makeup, I wanted to perm my lashes.

So, let's just get started.

I bought this perming solution kit from Amazon.

I'll link it down below.

I read through the instructions,

but on here, it doesn't really tell you which solution is which,

it doesn't even say on the bottle.

Plus, on this sheet that comes along with it,

it's written in Chinese on one side, so if you can read that,

then congratulations, you probably won't have trouble.

But on the English translations,

it's really confusing. It doesn't really make sense.

And on the bottom it says the finalizing agent is green.

And none of these are green.

So, I went online and I did my research

and I figured out it goes from left to right: #1, #2, #3, #4.

All I have to do is follow these instructions.

So! It says, 1. Thoroughly cleanse eyelashes.

I think my eyelashes are pretty clean right now, so I'm going to skip that.

I also bought these on Amazon.

These are the rolls. It also comes with rolls.

So you don't necessarily have to buy these, but

a lot of people use this over this.

So I went ahead and bought these, too.

I'll link these down below with the perming solution.

I can't talk. My voice is cracking.

Anyways, it comes with pair of L, 2 pairs of M, and 2 pairs of S.

So, I'm just going to go with Medium because I don't know what to expect.

And depending on how it turns out now, I might go

for a small later on or a large later on so

I'm just gonna go with medium today.

I'm gonna cut off the flappy part here.

And I will be back!

I cut the pieces so that they look like this.

Please focus.

Please focus.

Please focus.

So they look like this. I could've cut them better but I didn't.

It's ok.

And also, this kit was supposed to come with an eyelash glue.

Like right here.

But instead, they gave me two sets of rods.

So I'm going to go ahead and use my own eyelash glue. That's fine too.

The eyelash glue I will be using is

The Dolly Wink... eyelash glue, I think they only have one.

It looks like this and has this kind of applicator which is preferable

because you have to spread it out.

I'm just going to go ahead and apply the glue to the back of these rolls.

I'm also going to be doing both of my eyelashes at once

I don't really have the time to do one set, then the other

so I'm just gonna do them at once, if that makes any sense.

No? It's okay. I don't make any sense.

Update! I applied the pink rods.

From afar it just looks like I had double eyelid surgery and it went wrong.

Yeah, I can't really see much.

which is probably why people only do one eye at a time, but

let's move on!

I'm supposed to put glue on the rod.

and then use a toothpick or something to attach my eyelashes to the rod.

So I'm going to go ahead and go get some toothpicks, and I'll be back!

I'm kinda digging this look!

I'm going to apply eyelash glue!

Update! This eye didn't work out that well.

But I think this eye worked out perfectly!

I got all my lashes on the rod.

For some reason, this eye, it just wouldn't stick.

Idk what I'm doing wrong.

It's alright. I'm just gonna go with it.

It's kinda really painful cuz my eyes are getting really dry.

I will have to wait about 15-20 minutes after applying the perming solution to go on to the next step.

I think this step should be the hardest one because after that I'm just

applying stuff and removing it so

this step is definitely the hardest one and I kinda failed on this side.

It won't stickkk

My lashes won't stick, and they look kinda clumpy on this side too.

But anyways, yeah. I will be back!

Hey,guys! Update! So I've left No. 1

the perming solution in for about 15-17 minutes.

The instructions say 15-18 minutes with normal eyelashes

and 18-20 minutes with thick eyelashes.

I think my eyelashes are pretty normal so I'm going to go ahead and wipe it off with a qtip

I honestly don't know if I'm even wiping it off right now.

Oh, I can kinda see the pink, so I guess I'm doing something right.

I actually just ate pizza.

And for some reason, I guess I put too much perming solution in this eye.

I felt it like go into my eyeball

like I could feel the cool sensation on the edge of my eyeball

At some point, I started tasting the perming solution with my pizza.

Idk if I'm just paranoid, but...

Ok, I wiped it off.

It says to go in with #2, and I'm just going to do the same thing.

I'm taking the end of a toothpick, like the stubby side.

So on the instructions, it says,

10-15 min with thin eyelashes,

15-18 with normal eyelashes,

and 18-20 with thick eyelashes.

So, I'm going to do the 15-18 minutes again.

The one before was for curling, and now this white cream is for setting.

So, I'm just gonna go and wait for 15-18 minutes.

I will see you later.

Hi, so it's been about 18-20 minutes right now.

I just removed all the white cream,

and now I'm going to move on to the 3rd step.

I'm supposed to take this solution

and then I'm going to have to keep it on for 3 minutes.

For some reason, this only has this much, it didn't come full.

I will be back!

It says take #4 with a cotton bud to cleanse the glue over the roll.

So this is just supposed to separate my lashes from the roll.

And then I'm done, so LET's DO THIS!

ooooo

put this on my eyelid...

to remove the roll itself. Well, that was easy.

To be honest with you guys, mmm

I'm not really digging it.

mainly because I can do a better job when I actually manually curl my eyelashes.

This isn't the greatest my eyelashes can look.

So this is what my lashes look like with mascara.

I think I really like them.

So, yeah. I gotta go right now. Thank you guys so much for watching,

and I will see you in my next video. Peace!

The "Intelligence" of Cancer Cells - Sayer Ji - Duration: 4:23.

Ty Bollinger: So Sayer, let's take a step back here real quickly and just get in to

the basics.

What exactly is cancer?

Sayer Ji: It's a great question because until we, obviously, answer that correctly

we can treat it.

And so understanding cancer is has been an on-going

pursuit.

For at least 50 years, the dominant view is called the mutational theory which is through

happenstance, something goes wrong in the nucleus of

the cell that causes it to get deranged, go rogue, and just want to replicate clonally

into this tissue that invades everything.

But that view has been completely disproven because they identified that cancer is actually

rather intelligent.

It's capable of invading the immune system by changing the structures on its surface

like something out of the Matrix.

It can go and produce its own enzyme supply that dissolve through tissues,

produce its own blood supply.

It has a hierarchical arrangement of cells which have their own little duties and little

village, so to speak.

There's a root cell, a cancer cell called the cancer stem cell, which we talked about—the

mother behind it all.

And so the view that cancer is just rogue terrorists in our body has justified using

literally "weapons of mass destruction."

Things like chemotherapy which came from the war theater, actual

chemical weapons-grade material being administered to patients as well as radiation which is

called from nuclear reactors might as well be culled

from nuclear munitions to try to just destroy the terrorist

within the body and not think about what it does to all the civilian population.

It's the same basic models, pretty much insane.

So what we now know is that view is not correct and that cancer is a survival mechanism that's

unmasked.

In fact, it's quite amazing if you think about it that these cells can survive things

that even in a chemical weapons war or atomic blast a normal

human shouldn't survive but these cells were able to.

So it speaks to how cancer truly is.

It's an amazing life-force, a regenerative energy that is able to

survive the modern apocalypse of chemicals and inappropriate nutrients and pseudo foods

and electromagnetic energy and viruses—vaccines

for example—and be able to still live.

So when we look at cancer through that lens, we start understanding that the real answer

is to adjust back to what is a more natural, healthy state

of living, get the cells again to be healed, detoxification,

proper nutrition.

Things like that and not, obviously, blasting it with poisons and radiation.

Ty Bollinger: Two things you just said I want to expound on.

You were talking about chemotherapy coming from the

war theater.

What do you mean?

Sayer Ji: Well, what they did was that they did a number of studies on mustard gas and

how that is able to destroy fast-replicating blood cells, the

white blood cells in sort of what they called hemotological malignancies.

And because it was able to kill those fast replicating cells they, of course, used it

to try to treat that cancer because they saw some effect

that seemed to put it into remission.

Of course, we know now that that type of chemical is able to cause damage to all the cells in

our body and then ultimately, once you've taken that

route and ultimately seen it fail because you don't get a very

long survival advantage, you blame the victim.

You say the cancer is resistant to the chemotherapy.

Wen in fact we know you shouldn't use that approach.

You should have used the natural approach.

Ty Bollinger: I see.

And so some of the roots of chemotherapy go back to the mustard gases from previous war.

Sayer Ji: Absolutely, yeah.

The origin of that category which is still being used today.

In fact, in pediatric cancers, they use it sometimes, is really from the

war.

Ty Bollinger: Wow.

I bet many people don't know that.

Sayer Ji: No, in fact, if they did know it, I'm sure they would think about alternatives with much more interest.

Play Me - La Mesa - Duration: 5:17.

Today in La Mesa, we'll show you how to play Play Me

"Play Me" is a dice rolling game...

for 2 to 6 players with a play time of less than 10 minutes.

In "Play Me" the players are characters based in the book "Alice Adventures in Wonderland"

as they try to escape this chaotic world

before being trapped by its madness.

Just as it happens in Lewis Carroll work,

the key to this mystery is held by the elusive White Rabbit

whom the player must catch by using their particular powers.

Will it be possible to escape Wonderland

before being trapped by its most feared denizen?

In order to get started,

the White Rabbit tile must be placed in the center of the table

making sure it is within reach of every player.

The players must choose a character

and place it in front of them with the "Wonder Side" faced up.

This side can be recognized for the black on white text...

located on the top of the card.

Also, every player takes a set of dice matching the color of their character.

How to play "Play Me".

The objective of "Play Me" is to be the first one to catch the White Rabbit

in order to do this...

a player must roll the dice quickly and individually...

until they can achieve a progression from 1 to 6 using their set of dice.

The game starts when the weirdest player gives the signal by saying: Play Me!

At this time, everyone rolls their dices at the same time...

and continue rolling individually until they meet their objective.

After each roll...

players must choose amongst 3 options and call their actions out loud.

The actions are:

1. ADVANCE

The advance action allows you to place a die on the card to show your progress.

Dice must be placed in ascending order...

starting at 1 and so on, until the last die shows a result of 6.

You can only advance 1 die per roll, and as you advance...

you will have less dice to roll.

2. BLOCK

The block action allows you to place a die on another player's card.

This delays that player's advancement...

until they are able to unblock that die.

The die used to block...

must show a higher number than they player's current progression.

3. UNBLOCK

This action allows you to remove a die that is blocking your advancement.

To do this, you must use a die of the same value as the one blocking...

and then each die returns to its owner's hand, and the game continues.

Keep in mind that each character has its own particular ability, written in its card.

This power becomes a disadvantage when the character...

has to flip the card over and use it on its "Madness Side"

The Queen of Hearts for example...

has the ability of blocking players by using a die of 1,

however, when the queen is on her "Madness Side"...

she may be blocked by any player using a die of 1...

no matter where she is on her die progression.

When a player is able to complete their die progression from 1 to 6,

they must immediately put their hand on top in the White Rabbit tile in the center of the table

announcing they have caught him.

The winner of the round, must then flip their character card over...

showing their "Madness Side" face up...

and everyone takes back their dice to start a new round.

End of the game

The winner of "Play Me"...

is the first player who is able to win the round...

with their card "Madness Side" faced up.

However, that is not all...

If all players are on their "Madness Side",

then the White Rabbit tile is also flipped over...

which makes the feared Jabberwocky enter the game.

The last player who turned their card to its "Madness Side"...

is now the Jabberwocky,

and the game becomes an adventure of one versus everyone else...

where the team must escape the monster before they all go insane.

In Jabberwocky mode,

everyone flips their cards "Wonder Side" faced up...

and the new villain takes the Jabberwocky card...

and places it on top of their own character card.

This means they now have the Jabberwocky's ability as well as their own.

The Jabberwocky only needs a 1 to 5 progression to win the round...

and also has a power that can stop time...

and make everyone pick up their dice and start over.

When the Jabberwocky wins a round,

he chooses a character to flip their card "Madness Side" up.

If all characters go insade, then the Jabberwocky is the winner.

For the team to win the game...

The must cooperatively win a number of rounds...

equal to the number of players in the game.
