welcome to Escuadron111, this is the falcon wing in the Section Today Discover

now it´s time to speak about the external lighting panel

this panes is on the left console

there is the anti light collision, flash/steady

this two switches are together in BMS but in the real plan is not

and the MASTER, it control the whole panel

just selecting the OFF position of the master, all external light will be off

except the landing gear, that use other panel

en ON, you can see the light are, on

the red and green one as well the anticoll light

this is the anti collision light, the white flash one on the top of the vertical stabilization

there you can see that

let´s keep it activated

Flash/steady is related with Wing/tail and fuselage

it is the behavior of the red an green light, steady or flash mode

they are steady now

the position light are white, difficult to see with day light

in BMS not all F16 have that light implemented

wing/tall & fuselage, just on/off options in BMS

BRT mode is in day and night, and we´ll use DIM when using night vision googles

left click on, and right one is off

in real life this switches are independent, not move together like BMS

in some planes the green light are blue ones

the fuselage, are those white ones, that are not full implemented in BMS

master is already covered

this knob is the formation lights, not implemented in BMS

this ones are already implemented in the F18 in BMS, I hope in a future this ones become implemented in F16

as you can see the knob is not working is steady

aereal refueling, is when you are doing an air-refuel

this light must be where the top fuel trap is in the F16

there

to allot the view of the tanker, where the refuel spot is

that all about the external lightening

I hope see that two knobs implemented in a near future

I like play with buttons, I don´t need the real thing just the real button, lol

I hope you enjoyed the video and learned something , subscribe and give to me your feedback :D , bye bye

Star Conflict: Обновление 1.4.1 - Битва за Сектор - Duration: 4:15.

Hi and welcome back to Star Conflict tutorials! Today we'll talk about the recent patch 1.4.1, which introduces a whole range of changes to the game.

Starting with the Sector Control: in this mode corporations fight for influence points across the space. It's all very simple, really: the more effective you fight, the more points you and your team will earn.

If you manage to destroy the enemy's dreadnought, you will get extra points. But there's a catch, you need to keep your own flagship intact, to get even more points!

Remember: each individual battle for any given sector lasts full twelve minutes, so the teams will have to be quick on their feet and prepare their strategies beforehand.

The new sector control system makes it much harder to secure a victory! Keep in mind that the corporation that is currently in control of a sector, loses half their influence points during the battle preparation phase.

While their challengers lose only 10 percent. Each clan war lasts one hour. After that hour influence points are drained over to their competitors, if they did well in battle, of course.

If the current owners run out of points, the sector is taken over by a corporation with the highest influence in the sector.

Some major redesign hit the matchmaking system. Now, when you click on Conquest icon, your ship will be put in a queue for a dreadnought fight.

If the flagship of any particular corporation is locatedin an active sectors and its slots have at least three ships of a required rank, you will be put sent into battle .

The players from a single clan will always end up on the same side of the conflict, while freelance pilots cannot attend at all.

The tech level for locations is now displayed as a range of possible ranks: instead of dreadnought's tech-levels and modules, we now have a class system in place.

Let's move onto guard frigates. They now all have access to an improved special module: which allows them to quickly close the gap towards the fight.

Besides, if your ship is not engaged in battle, it will slowly regenerate its hull hitpoints. Bye-bye to dependence on engineers!

Some of the combat modules have been reworked too. The Pulsar, aside from its regular effect, now increases your resistance to all types of damage.

The more enemies you have around your frigate, the tougher your craft becomes.

Emergency Shield Recharge now also has an extra effect: the more enemies are around you, the more energy you will recover . Aside that, the module also reloads faster, twice as fast, actually.

But alas, all this comes at a price: the module's energy consumption has be upped by 112%.

The good-old Mass Propulsion Inhibitor now as a passive mode: it slows down enemy ships in the vicinity and disables afterburners if activated proper. Now the inhibitor has a quicker reload and uses less energy.

The Signature Marking module now works in passive mode, once activated it boosts its effect by a small margin. But, thecooldown has been extended as well.

The now-improved Spectre field module takes 35 seconds to reload, but uses more energy in the process. But, the module itself is more effective now, both in terms of its range and power.

Finally, the latest patch affected many modules of the Ellydium faction. The Alien Intuition module now takes longer to reload, while Crystal Hunger and Matter Absorber affect a wider area.

This is it for this episode, see you in space!

Accendino a Compressione - Duration: 1:48.

hi guys,

in this video we'll show you how to burn a piece of paper by using pressure

To do this experiment, we need a Fire piston

also known as fire syringe or slam rod fire starter.

As you can see it's essentially a plastic cylinder

in which a mobile piston has to be push down quickly.

At the end of this piston and at the bottom of the cylinder there are 2 o-rings

which prevent air escaping during compression.

If we quickly push the piston down,

the air inside the cylinder will be subjected to an adiabatic transformation,

that is a transformation without any heat exchange with the external environment,

and so, beacuse of the drastic reduction of the air volume,

the temperature quickly increases.

We can see this clearly by putting a small piece of paper inside the cylider:

infact, following the compression,

the small piece of paper will start to burn on its own

because the increase of temperature is so great

that it will exceed the auto-ignition temperaure of the paper, which is about 230° C

As you can see, the whole process takes place rather quickly

so we have made a 500 fps slow-motion

which allows us to better understand what happens

For further details you can have a look at the link on the right

If you have enjoyed this experiment you can give me a thumbs-up

10 Ways your Intuition Sends you Messages - Duration: 3:30.

10 Ways your Intuition Sends you Messages

Do you sometimes struggle to hear your intuition or higher self?

It can sometimes be difficult to hear the soft murmuring of your heart or intuition.

This is especially true when you are feeling emotional or at a crossroads in your life.

Sometimes our thoughts can cause us to feel so clouded and confused that it can be difficult

to sift through what is the voice of our intuition and the voice of our ego.

In times of need, when we really need a helping hand to guide us towards our truth and our

heart, there are a few signs or clues that our intuition may provide us with.

These signs and clues can sometimes be easier to identify than the strong feeling of knowing

that our intuition can give to us when we are feeling clear and confident.

These signs may be subtle so you will have to be open to hearing and seeing them, however

they may help you to make a step in the right direction, especially if you are unsure or

still learning how to use your intuition to tap onto your higher self.

A tingling sensation or goosebumps A feeling of urgency, uncomfortableness or

butterflies Prophetic dreams or vivid dreams that seem

to carry a message Seeing number patterns like 11:11 or 911

Seeing a billboard, TV show or street sign with a synchronistic message

Hearing a song stuck in your head Ringing or buzzing in the ears (that is not

medically related) Receiving advice that seems to come at the

perfect time A vision or wave of inspiration during meditating,

exercising or showering Feeling physically ill for no apparent reason,

especially in the stomach or head area

The more we trust and listen for our intuition the stronger it becomes, however if you are

struggling to hear your inner voice sometimes having a psychic/intuitive reading can be

a helpful way to clarify things.

However, if you feel like you need a daily or even weekly guidance to help tap into the

calling of your soul there are other tools you can practice at home such as using the

book Messages for your Soul.

This book contains divinely inspired messages and mantras that can help draw you closer

to your heart and soul.

To use the book simply ask a question and flip to a random page, open up at any page

or read it in order in order to receive Divinely inspired guidance for your soul.

Whatever method you choose to help you better connect with your intuition, know that regular

practice, gratitude and staying connected to your inner self are all tools that can

help make this process easier.

Dead Wrong® with Johan Norberg - Why the Rust Belt Rusted - Duration: 1:26.

You elitists, you globalists.

You have no sense of the human

cost of the policies you implement.

Your free trade killed the

American Rust Belt.

Dead wrong.

Most jobs were lost there

between 1950 and 1980-

before globalization really got going.

The death of Rust Belt manufacturing

was an inside job,

and big business and big labor

were not the victims,

they were the killers.

After the Second World War,

the big producers of steel,

of cars, and tires faced little competition.

So they didn't see the need to innovate

and become more productive.

The only pressure they felt were from

trade unions.

Most southeastern states had "Right to

Work" laws in place since the 1950s,

which limited the power of trade unions,

the Rust Belt didn't.

So they could bid up the price of labor.

So in the Rust Belt,

the average worker had a wage that was

13 times higher than similar workers in

other places.

So, they had the best jobs on the planet-

a little, little while-

because in the long run,

consumers do not prefer more expensive

products that are more outdated

than the alternatives.

Far from being an example of the impact

of trade and competition,

the Rust Belt is a warning of what

happens when you ignore trade and

competition.

Teaching Tips from AE - Teaching Current Events with Voice of America Resources - Duration: 6:27.

American English

Teach and learn

American English

In this Teaching Tip topic, Phil will examine

the importance of teaching current events

in the English language classroom,

and how to facilitate two current event

activities using Voice of America resources.

Welcome, Phil!

Hello, everyone! My name is Phil and thank you

for joining me for my Teaching Tips!

Current events are a very important

topic in today's world, and with so many

changes happening across the globe it is

important that your students are aware

of what's happening in their classroom and beyond.

Before we begin, let's look at our goals.

Today, we'll explore the importance

of teaching current events in

the English language classroom and how

to facilitate two current event activities

using Voice of America resources.

So, what do we mean when we say "current events"?

Current events are defined as events

in the present concerning important people,

places, things, or ideas.

Now, why are current events important to your English language classroom?

They are important because they build

language ability and vocabulary, offer endless

topics that connect to all areas of curriculum,

keep students aware of events happening

locally, nationally, and internationally,

promote critical thinking, motivate students to

have further discussions, and can inspire

students to become active in their communities.

So, where can you access current events?

Some of the main sources are the internet, newspapers,

magazines, television, radio, social media,

and podcasts. But, today I want to talk

about Voice of America, specifically the

Learning English branch, and how to use

their current event resources in your classroom.

Voice of America is a multimedia source

of news for English learners around the world.

It produces content for digital television and radio

platforms in more than 40 languages to

over 200 million people a week.

The Learning English branch has many

resources including news articles which

cover a wide range of current event topics.

Every article comes with an audio version

of the story as well as definitions for difficult

vocabulary words.

Now, I will show you two different VOA Learning English

resources and give an example of how each

can be used in your ESL or EFL classroom.

One great feature we have at VOA is

called This Day in Photos where each day

pictures of current events from around

the world are posted on our website.

These can be great activities to use in your

classroom too. One effective activity is

to have your students try to predict

what is happening in the photo.

Let's try to do one together!

Analyze this photo and think about these two questions:

What do you think is happening in this photo, and why?

If you were to give this photo a title

what would you call it? And you may

want to pause this video while you think

about your answers.

Okay, now I'll give you the actual

description of the photo and let's see how

close your ideas were for question number one.

A worshipper spits water on a sword as he

takes part in Hei Neak Ta, or procession of the spirits,

which marks the end of the celebration

of the Lunar New Year for the Chinese

community in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Okay, now let's look at our second resource

and activity, this one is called News Words.

These are one-minute videos that

introduce a new vocabulary word in the

news and show a brief news video of the

word in context.

Let's watch part of the video right now.

Welcome to the Voice of America's News Words.

This week's News Word is about housing built

in a shipping port. Practical. Urban rigor is the name

of a new, low-price type of housing for

students at the University of Copenhagen.

Practical means "fit for actual use."

It refers to the doing or using of something

instead of theories and ideas.

One activity that I like to use this for

in class is to have your students create

their own News Word video or presentation.

So, how does this work?

First, create a list of vocabulary from current events.

For example, let's use the word "practical"

like we saw in the video, then give groups

of students one vocabulary word.

Have them find a news article that uses it.

In this example, they could use "Students

Live in Floating Shipping Containers"

by Deborah Block.

Then have your students create presentations

where they define the word and read part of

the news story that uses the word.

There are many more resources on the VOA

Learning English website that you should

definitely check out. Some of these include

Learning English TV, Let's Learn English,

People in America, Every Day Grammar, News Stories,

and the Learning English Word Book!

Summing up, today we examined the importance

of teaching current events in the English language

classroom, and I also showed you how to

facilitate two current event activities using

Voice of America resources.

Thanks so much for joining me and good luck

using these great resources in your classroom.

videos, be sure to subscribe to our American English

3 Scary Lechuza Stories - Duration: 18:48.

Back in high school, either in the 9th or 10th grade, my life was affected drastically.

Working at Wendy's had me coming home at midnight even during school nights.

My parents didn't like that much, but money was on my mind.

I was driving an old 69 Camaro, so my money was being dumped into fixing it up and smoking

pot; as well as selling here and there.

I wasn't necessarily the perfect child that I portrayed in my small town in Texas, I mean

I wasn't getting arrested, but I was a little mischievous.

I wasn't necessarily heading down the right path.

Since I worked late hours and I came and went as I pleased, I told my parents I was working

late and should be home around midnight.

I went into work at 5 and got off at 9, then headed to my girlfriend's house which was

a town over.

When I arrived at her house I killed the engine and walked up to her house to ring the doorbell.

Before I begin with the unusual situation, let me explain two important but big details.

My 69 Camaro has issues like any other classic, but mine was loud.

It had a 350 short block with an Edel Brock exhaust, bad brakes, a heavy full metal body

that creaked, and drove with bad handling.

The second important detail is; Tina (my girlfriend) lived on a long stretch of road surrounded

by huge Pecan and Oak trees that kept her house and street covered in darkness, even

during the day.

She comes to the door and tells me we have to hang out in the front yard on the patio.

But instead, we headed to my car and light up.

Her parents were usually asleep by then, so after smoking and grubbing on some food I

stole from work, we chatted up and began fooling around.

By then it was 11, so I knew I would have to be leaving soon.

I walk around the rear of the car to open her door which is difficult to open because

it's usually jammed when I noticed an eerie stillness.

While being freaked out and fighting the passenger handle, I look over towards the neighbor's

mailbox.

I then hear whistling.

I could feel that someone was watching me.

Tina manages to force the door open by kicking it, hitting me in the stomach and notices

me looking over and searching for the whistling.

She heard it too.

She freaked out and started crying.

The neighbors' huge tree begins shaking, branches begin to crack and dropped from above.

I tell her to jump back in the car, and I too ran in front of the car to get back in.

As I slammed my door shut I look over to Tina and she was gone.

She had tailed it back to her front door.

I could see her face and it freaked me out when she began pointing at her neighbors'

tree from her window.

Being slightly in a daze, I look in my review mirror instead of putting the keys in the

ignition.

I notice leaves were falling all around my car.

Oddly there was no wind and the other trees were not swaying; Only the ones near my car.

I start my car and looked towards Tina at the window again.

Now she was jumping and I guess screaming.

So I throw it in drive and go, but wanted to know what I was experiencing so I stopped

a couple of houses down.

Again I look back in the review mirror but this time I saw two glowing eyes, huge orange/red

eyes.

In my head I'm thinking it's an owl, but then notice my brake lights lit up behind

me capturing an outline of a mammoth creature.

I now could see what it was; like it was saying, "Notice me."

This was no owl.

I hit the gas down the long stretched road and focused on my mirrors.

This creature was following me!

This thing was causing so much destruction in those trees, it was following me flying

from tree to tree, knocking more tree limbs down to the road.

It was like I was in a trance, I couldn't keep my eyes off of her.

Yes her!

This thing was a her!

With wings like a bird but boney in a sense that you could see the bone structure like

a bat, and a normal size female figure but with long claws where her feet should be.

The wing span was no less than 10ft in length.

The body looked like dark skin but had no clothing, and shoulder length hair with huge

piercing eyes.

I can't describe the face in detail.

It was like in the dramatic movies where you see the character's eyes and the rest of the

face is drowned in shadow.

I finally hit interstate 35 but couldn't see it anymore; there were too many other

cars around.

After running several lights and missing a couple of stop signs I pulled up to my driveway.

I kicked the door open (I'm not even sure I turned the car off), and ran inside straight

to my room!

"You're finally home" I hear from my parent's room, but I just slammed the door and killed

the lights in my bedroom.

I was safe indoors where no one could see me or hurt me.

I laid in bed shaking; trying figure out what just happened.

Then something hits my window.

Thinking it was my dog Killer, I turn my lights on and I look outside.

Then I remembered he was inside in his crate.

We had a tall Crape Myrtle right outside my bedroom window facing the back yard.

I put 2 and 2 together and killed the lights again, wishing I had curtains or even blinds.

I hide right up against the wall next to the window.

This thing had followed me all the way home and was outside my window perched in the tree.

I was trying to yell for my parents but didn't want to give my location to this thing.

Then this high pitch whistle/screech comes out and something hit my window and is scratching

the window pane.

It sounded like razors were being used to scrape against it.

This scraping continued until my mother burst in yelling "what the hell are you doing

whistling".

At this point, I was balled up crying against the wall.

I remember later, she said I appeared as if I lost all color, almost white, and I'm

Latino.

So I explained the night; what happened and what I had witnessed.

She tacked up an old bed sheet over the window.

Half an hour later, my grandmother walks in and she asked what I saw.

Growing up, all of us grandkids were told crazy stories by our mothers and grandmothers;

we thought they were to keep us scared and in line.

I explained once more and she cried along with my mother.

She told me this thing was a witch; half bird other half lady and they call her Lechuza

a Bruja (bru-ha).

And apparently, it would watch for bad souls and abduct you by whistling at night.

Once I was calm she performed some Mexican ritual on me and spent several minutes praying

over me and finally, I felt somewhat at ease.

"Now you act right, and be respectful Stupid," my grandma yells.

The next day, my mother had a crew remove the tree and bought me new blinds and thick

dark curtains.

This was the last day I would act like a fool.

I am now 36 yrs old, married (not to Tina), have a small family, and my parents moved

from that location and now are building their new home on my land.

Life is great besides a couple of odd things that happened throughout the years, but nothing

compared to the Lechuza.

This was real and they weren't just stories.

I have heard many stories about skinwalkers and various other mythical creatures; So I

thought I should share a story of something that is commonly known in southern states

as La Lechuza.

From what I have heard they are in southern Texas, New Mexico, and Northern Mexico.

But they could be at other locations.

I know that they are supposed to be witches disguised as owls except for the fact that

they are freakishly large, and are obviously not owls because they have human faces.

A little bit of backstory before I provide my personal story.

We have all heard the tales growing up but no one ever believes it.

From what I know, they only come out at night and when you are alone or in a small group.

Mainly when you are most vulnerable.

They are said to hum in an almost humanly way, almost like a whistle.

It's a truly creepy sounding hum and you must never mock it in any way.

In the stories they come as Omens of death, or curses, or they're simply trying to kidnap

kids.

Now on to the story; This all happened back in 2003 when I was approximately 16.

My name is Jessica and I was extremely petite at the time; weighing 95 pounds soaking wet.

I lived in a small City in West Texas.

I was dropping off my friend David at his house in a relatively small suburban community.

David was about five foot six and weighed about 125 pounds.

We were about the same age and neither of us really could fight anything off if we were

attacked.

David's neighborhood wasn't necessarily in the middle of nowhere, it was actually right

by the college but it was very dimly lit, almost completely pitch black.

It was approximately 11 o'clock at night, I was in the driver seat saying my goodbyes

and laughing at some stupid joke David had made when in my rearview mirror, out of my

peripheral vision, I saw something white go by.

It went by so quickly and it was so dimly lit outside that I thought I might have imagined

it, so when I turned around to look to see if there was anything behind the car and saw

nothing, I figured it was just my imagination.

I Turned to face David and he, of course, was looking at me in a confused way.

Almost like he was asking "what's wrong".

I was about to tell him I thought I saw something when we both saw something shoot by the front

of the vehicle just as quickly.

Now we're both sitting there with a confused look on our faces wondering what the hell

we just saw.

A possible Lechuza sighting hadn't even crossed my mind.

I was still trying to process what was going on when we both heard the distinct whistling

of a human that was slightly distorted.

It was coming from the front of the car off in the distance, then we heard another one

coming from behind the car, and another one to the left of the car, and another one to

the right of the car.

All out of eyesight.

I quickly looked around to see if I could find anything that was making that noise and

I saw what looked like a statue on one of the roofs of a house that was two houses down

from our location.

Confused I turn to David and ask if his neighbor had a note on his roof.

He looked at me confused and answered no.

We both looked at this strange creature that was just chilling on his neighbor's roof,

then we started to notice it's features.

It had to be 4 feet tall there was no way it was any smaller, it was right next to the

chimney and was almost the same height.

It looked like a damn bird but it was too dark to tell what kind of bird.

And even at the distance we were it was obvious it had an orange-red set of glowing eyes.

We were obviously freaked out at the sight of this thing.

Especially when a vehicle drove by and we saw this damn thing move a few feet over to

avoid getting hit by the headlights and as soon as the car had passed actually stepped

back to it's original spot.

That was the last straw.

I peeled out, and David was stuck in my car until I felt safe.

We drove around for an hour hoping that these things would leave.

I went back to his house but this time I dropped him off in the alley behind his house.

We weren't sure if those things had left so he ran inside and sent me a message letting

me know he was safe.

It's not like we could have called the police and reported a giant bird on people's houses

or called anyone for help.

Who would believe us?

I knew what it was because I had heard the Legends, and while we were driving around

for that hour I had relayed the information to David who was confused and freaked out.

I drove home and hoped that would be the last of it.

But of course, it never is.

Later on at school, David had informed me that all night long he had heard scratches

on his windows and light tapping noises.

This seems to be the only time he heard them but I told him to be careful just in case

they came back.

My friends and relatives have encountered these Lechuzas as well.

I do know for certain what I saw, and birds aren't supposed to be that damn big.

And they sure as hell aren't supposed to have glowing eyes.

I didn't drink or do drugs and neither did David so we were both sober and clear-minded.

I know too many people have seen these things, so something's going on and if you just Google

it you can read more stories.

My name is Erin and this story is told from my Grandmas perspective.

This happened right after my grandma had bought the house she still currently lives in.

She was so excited!

And to celebrate, she invited her Boyfriend and a couple who were good friends.

I can't remember the woman's name but it was something along the lines of Cathy, so I'll

call her that.

My grandma (Carol) and Cathy went down stairs to put up curtains while the guys went out

to buy champagne for the celebration.

Let me give you a layout of the house.

When you walk in the front door you're essentially on the 2nd floor because the house was built

on a hill.

The bottom floor is the den where they were putting up curtains on the windows which face

her pool.

On the 3rd floor is where the bedrooms are, and the 4th is where the game rooms and 2

balconies are; one facing the front and one to the back.

It was around 8 pm when the guys left and my grandma and Cathy were in the den on the

1st floor.

They were going through moving boxes when Cathy walked over to my grandma and put her

hand on her shoulder and asked her if she was crying.

When my grandma looked up at her, Cathy was confused because my grandma was clearly not

crying.

She replied "no... what the hell?" and laughed.

Cathy was left with a look of confusion and stopped and looked around.

My grandma was about to ask her why but Cathy shushed her.

They both listened and she said it sounded like faint crying but also low wretched screaming;

which if you ask me just imagining it sounds fucking terrifying.

They made their way upstairs to the kitchen on the 2nd floor and listened.

She said it was even fainter like they were closer to it when they were in the den.

They soon figured out it was coming from the backyard.

My grandma being a police officer, honestly isn't scared of anything.

She decided she wanted to go on the porch and see if she could make out the sound.

Cathy was freaking out and held onto my grandma like you would a friend while walking through

haunted house.

Cathy whined "carol...you don't know what's out there.

just wait till the boys get back, they can deal with whatever it is, it sounds ugly!"

My grandma laughed and said, "I'm not waiting for anybody.

I can handle myself."

She preceded to open the back door to the porch, She walked out, and it was dark other

than the pool light.

She looked to her right and slowly scanned the areas turning her head to the left.

Then she saw something 'odd'.

There was a big black thing at the bottom of the stairs on the railing which lead to

the pool.

She walked out farther to see what it was.

She said the noise got louder; crying, growling and screaming all at once.

And then it stopped.

The thing slowly turned it's huge head to reveal what looked like a woman with long

black hair but morphed with an owl.

She said it was so big she couldn't believe the railing could hold it up.

What shocked me was that she said when she stared at it and it stared back she was not

afraid, but more curious as to why it was on her property.

She wasn't mad either.

Just pure curiosity.

She heard Cathy bolt back inside.

My grandma stood her ground and just stared at this creature.

She said it didn't look angry or have a menacing stare, it looked sad but at the same time

almost emotionless.

Then she said the owl lady slowly turned it's head back to it's original position and spread

its enormous wings, about the length of a car, and flew away into the night.

She also said that she couldn't hear its wings when it flew which was all the more curious

to me.

I wondered why this 'Lechuza' was there.

My grandma later told me that she used to be what is called a "white witch" and practiced

witchcraft, and that its said people who do these things have sort of a guardian.

Not an angel but creatures; like the one she saw.

She said she guessed that's why it was there.

She also told me she had seen it 2 more times after that.

Once before when her son passed away (my father) and another when a close friend also passed.

I find it scary yet interesting.

Hip Flexor Stretch Lunge Position - Ask Doctor Jo - Duration: 0:36.

For a hip flexor stretch in the lunge position,

the side that you want to stretch is

going to stay down. Bring the other leg

forward so you look like you're in the

lunge. Keep your upper body nice and

straight, so not leaning forward but keep

it up, and then lean forward with your

hips until you feel a stretch through

there. Hold that stretch.

Can you lose your salvation? What about the warning passages? - Duration: 5:00.

- People often ask whether you can lose your salvation

and then in light of that, if we can't

and I think we can't, how do we understand

the strong warnings that are in Scripture.

So I do want to affirm, the Scripture is very clear

that those whom God has elected,

those whom God has called, He preserves.

He who began a good work in you will complete

it until the day of Christ Jesus, Philippians 1:6.

Romans 8, no one will

be separated from the love of God.

He keeps His sheep, John 10.

So then how do we understand

those strong warning passages?

Say in Hebrews for example,

which threaten believers with final judgment,

eternal destruction if they fall away?

Some people try to say the passages in Hebrews,

Hebrews 6, some try to say well

those aren't about salvation.

I don't think that's convincing.

Some say those passages aren't addressed to believers,

but I think they are addressed to believers.

It speaks of those who have become partakers

of the Holy Spirit.

So then how do we understand those passages

if they're addressed to believers?

I think they are.

If they warn about final judgment, I think it is.

I think the answer is, that those passages,

those warnings, those admonitions

are the means God uses to keep us until the end.

And I would argue for those who belong to God,

those warnings, those admonitions,

they're always effective.

They always ultimately work in our lives.

I'm not saying that we live perfect lives.

I'm not saying that we don't stray into sin.

Sometimes we stray into sin in significant ways.

But I am saying that no one who is truly chosen by God,

no one who is truly a believer ever fully

and finally falls away from Christ.

So the warnings become one of the means,

like cattle prods right?

Like goads that keep cattle in line,

the warnings effectively keep us within the family of God.

A scriptural example of warnings keeping us

until the end, my favorite is from Acts 27.

There we have the story of the shipwreck.

And Paul's on the ship heading to Rome.

There's a big storm at sea.

It looks like everybody's going to die.

An angel appears to Paul and promises him,

every single person, all 276 without exception,

would be spared.

Everyone would live.

That's a promise isn't it?

There's a promise, analogous to the promise

that we'll all be saved.

There's a promise that every single person

on this ship would survive and would live.

But a little time had passed and

the sailors on the ship, a bit after this,

were trying to escape from the ship

by using a smaller boat to get away.

And when Paul sees that, he says to the captain,

if you allow the sailors to do that

you won't be saved, that is you won't live.

So notice how that passage works.

Paul gives them a warning,

a warning that if they allow the sailors

to escape they won't survive.

But he's already had a promise,

he's already had a promise that

every single person will live.

So the warning is the means by which

the promise comes to pass.

One other point I want to make,

and it is this, what about those who do fall away?

Some do fall away.

If someone falls away, then they don't truly belong to God.

1 John 2:19 tells us that, doesn't it?

They went out from us for they were not of us.

For if they were of us, they would have remained with us.

But they went out in order that it

might be plain that they all are not of us.

So those who do fall away were never truly believers.

Those who are true believers,

the warnings are the means God uses, like in Acts 27,

the warnings are the means God uses

to keep them until the end.
