Waching daily Apr 6 2017

The security of the internet depends on encryption.

It allows your device and a faraway server to send private messages to each other

like your emails, your passwords, pictures of your cats, without anyone eavesdropping.

Today's encryption works pretty well, but a sophisticated quantum computer can break it,

and a universal quantum computing machine is likely to emerge in the near future.

"But quantum computers are already here…"

Yeah yeah I know, there are quantum computers on the market, but these are not the scary ones.

They use quantum annealing to solve certain optimisation problems.

They are not the full-blown quantum computers that threaten our security.

They are too highly specialized for that.

But when the general-purpose quantum computers come…

Are we DOOMED???

Maybe… but we can fight quantum with quantum.

For the moment, forget about encryption and just think about what it's trying to achieve.

You and a server need to communicate with each other.

(And by "you", I mean "your computer".)

They need to be able to see the information you send them, and you need to be able to

see the information they send you.

No one else should be able to see any of these messages.

But what's stopping an eavesdropper from taking your messages

and making copies for themselves?

Not much.

So what if you scramble your messages?

Write them in a secret code.

Okay, then how are you and the server supposed to unscramble each other's messages?

If you tell each other how to unscramble them, then the eavesdropper knows

how to unscramble them too, and all of this is pointless.

You and the server need to know something that no one else does.

Ok let's give that a go.

Let's say that we scramble our data and incorporate a special number into the exact

way that we scramble it.

We do this in a way that you need that special number in order to unscramble it afterward.

Since this number is used to "lock" and "unlock" the data, let's call it a "key".

This key is a secret so we can't pass it through the internet for eavesdroppers to see.

Otherwise, they would be able to unscramble our messages.

But what about you and the server?

Without access to each other's key, how are you supposed to

unscramble each other's messages?

Here's how we get around this problem today.

Say that you want to send the server some private information.

The server has two special keys.

The public key can only be used to scramble information, no unscrambling.

So it's safe to send you that key, so you can scramble your secrets

before you send them along.

Even if the eavesdropper makes their own copy of the public key,

it's useless against a scrambled message.

So how does the server unscramble it?

It uses the private key.

This key is super-secret and no one but the server should ever have it, not even you.

This private key was custom-made to unscramble messages

which this particular public key scrambled.

These keys always come it pairs.

One of them can only scramble, and the other can only unscramble messages

that were scrambled by the first one.

Now, calling both these numbers "keys" might be a bad analogy, since keys can typically

both lock and unlock.

That's why I'm illustrating them as a padlock and a padlock key, since padlocks

can only lock, and its corresponding key can only unlock

that specific padlock.

And even this might be a bad analogy, since locking and unlocking messages

makes it seem like they're concealed inside a box or something,

when it's really more like blending it into something that looks meaningless,

but in such a way that the original message can be reconstructed if you have the right number.

Anyway, I'm stealing the padlock analogy from this numberphile video,

which goes into a bit more detail on how all of this works.

The short version is: Because math!

So that covers how you can send the server secret information.

How does the server send you secret information?

You don't have the server's private key, so you can't unscramble messages that were

scrambled by its public key.

Instead, you generate your own unique, plain old, regular key on the spot

and send theserver a copy.

But, before you send the key through, you use the server's public key to scramble it.

The server can then get your key by unscrambling it.

Now you each of you can use this new key to both scramble and unscramble messages.

Even better, the eavesdroppers can't get this new key, since it was scrambled when

you sent it to the server.

Hooray it worked!

Now here's the problem.

Everything here rests on the fact that keys that can unlock messages are kept secret.

We only share them secretly in scrambled form if we ever need to.

But we are freely sharing the public key.

It turns out that given enough time, an eavesdropper's computer can analyse it

to create an exact copy of the corresponding private key.

They can essentially pick the lock.

This is done by guessing tons of potential private keys until a match is found.

There are some shortcuts, but the math behind these keys is designed

so that this would take forever anyway.

Luckily, we change our locks faster the than the eavesdropper can pick them.

The fastest algorithms for doing this key reconstruction are just too slow

to be of any practical use.

So the eavesdropper won't find your private key unless you're astronomically unlucky.

There are theoretically faster algorithms that would do the job though.

But luckily they can only run on quantum computers.

Wait a minute, those are probably coming soon aren't they?

So, once again…

Are we DOOMED???

Possibly not.

There is an initiative to create new encryption standards

in a world after quantum computers become a thing: Post-Quantum Cryptography.

Here's the basic idea.

Public-private keys must behave as one-way functions.

Given a private key, it's easy to create its corresponding public key,

but given a public key, it's hard to create its corresponding private key.

It's a real pain to go backwards, hence it is one-way.

By design, at least one of these processes should be easy,

otherwise we wouldn't be able to create these key pairs in the first place.

After all, what's the point of designing the perfect padlock with no way to open it,

or the perfect padlock key with nothing for it to open?

Making this process easy ensures that we can always make a useful pair.

The hard part here is the critical point of this mechanism.

This makes it possible to let everybody encrypt messages but only some people decrypt them.

You can't decrypt messages without the private key, and it's hard to get it,

even when you have the public key.

And that is next to impossible in practice.

You might be wondering why we can't just make it impossible to go backwards.

It's because there will always be at least one way to get the private key from the public key:

going through every single possibility until a match is found.

The best thing that we can do is make the backwards process as hard as we can,

while keeping the forward process easy.

This is how one-way functions work, and they're the best thing we have so far.

Unfortunately, the particular one-way function that most of the internet uses can be broken

by quantum computers.

They make it easy to get the private key, but only because there happens to be algorithm

to do it that performs very well when it's run on a quantum computer.

To solve this problem with existing technology, new mechanisms could be built on different

one-way functions, particularly ones that no one knows how to break

even with quantum computers.

That would keep this process easy, this process hard.

This is good in the shorter term, but we can do better.

Surprisingly, quantum computers themselves come to save the day.

They can let us do things with security that not even public-private keys can do.

Welcome to Quantum Cryptography.

Conventional computers use bits which can each be either 1 or 0.

Quantum computers use qubits, which can be 1 or 0 or some combination of the two.

Let's visually represent qubits with this diagram, which I like to call the Bloch circle.

It's a simplified version of something else called the Bloch sphere,

but we don't need it for this video.

Now, in the Bloch circle, the direction that this arrow is pointing represents the state the qubit is in.

When we try to read a qubit, we need to choose a direction to measure it in.

If we measure it in the vertical orientation, we'll say that it's a zero whenever the

arrow points this way, and a 1 whenever the arrow points this way.

If the qubit was in some non-vertical state, our measurement forces the qubit to choose

one of them, ...because quantum mechanics!

If it was in a horizontal state, there's a 50-50 chance of it being measured as 0 or 1.

But if we wanted, we could have measured it horizontally.

In this case, this would be a 0, this would be a 1, and

these would be 50-50 chances.

But what's the point of leaving it up to chance anyway?

Why not just measure vertically when it's vertical, and horizontally when it's horizontal?

Because we can't know if a given qubit is vertical or horizontal,

unless we made it ourselves. ourselves.

The only way for us to learn anything about it is to measure it, but the harsh reality

is that measurement might have changed it to something else.

Because quantum mechanics!

Now all of this might look really useless at first, but we can actually use these qubits

to generate keys and actually detect if someone is trying to eavesdrop.

Here's how it could work.

The server generates a random string of 1s and 0s.

We're gonna use these ones and zeros to make a key.

The server encodes these bits into qubits

by randomly choosing a vertical or horizontal orientation.

These qubits are then sent down a line that supports transmission of qubits, and you receive them.

Now, you don't know which qubits are vertical and which are horizontal, so you randomly guess,

measuring some of them vertically and others horizontally.

Each time, you have a 50-50 chance of guessing right since there are only two possible orientations

and you have to pick one of them.

If you do guess right, that bit will be the same for you as it is for the server.

If you guess wrong, that bit has at risk of being wrong.

Now, you have your own random string of 1s and 0s, but it's not exactly the same as

the server's string because of your wrong guesses.

To throw out the useless bits, you and the server compare the orientations

you used for each bit, and throw out the mismatches.

Even if an eavesdropper drops in to peek at the orientations used to make the measurements,

they won't know what the measurements were.

Now, you and the server each have copies of the same key

that you can both use to scramble and unscramble messages.

But why did the server make you guess what the orientations were?

Why couldn't the server just give them to you so you wouldn't need to guess?

Because it would have given away too much information for eavesdroppers looking at our qubits.

If you can perfectly guess the server's bits, so can an eavesdropper.

But adding a little uncertainty trips them up.

Let's see how it plays out.

Once again, the server generates a random bit sequence and encodes it in random orientations.

Now the server sends you the qubits, but the eavesdropper catches them along the way.

The eavesdropper must act quickly.

They need to measure the qubits and then send them back down to you

so you don't notice anything wrong.

But the eavesdropper doesn't know whether to measure vertically or horizontally.

If they guess wrong, the qubit changes.

Plus, they wouldn't even know if they guessed right or wrong in the first place, so they

can't fix their mistakes.

Maybe, they could make copies of the qubits, send one copy to you so you don't notice

anything wrong, and then try all sorts of different measurements

on their own copies to figure out what the qubits were.

Too bad they would need to break the laws of physics to do that.

A principle of quantum mechanics known as the no-cloning-theorem tells us that you can't

make copies of qubits if you don't already know what they are.

If the eavesdropper wants to know anything at all,

they need to measure the qubits.

And unfortunately for them, that means they either need to send you

contaminated qubits or dummy qubits of their own.

Even if the eavesdropper eventually sees you and the server

saying which orientations they should have used, it's too late for them.

Unless they happened to guess the orientation correctly every single time you guessed correctly,

or if by pure chance, the qubits collapsed to the right values anyway,

you and the server will end up with different numbers.

And taking a guess on all of your qubits is pretty much the worst strategy ever.

But how do you and the server know if the eavesdropper was messing with the qubits?

How do you know if these bits are safe to use?

You randomly pick half of your bits to compare.

If they're the same, you and the server know that

the other half is the same as well, unless you're astronomically unlucky.

But to better your odds, you use more qubits so small mistakes from

the eavesdropper are more likely to be noticed.

If you ever notice a problem, you toss everything out and try again.

Hopefully the eavesdropper will respect your privacy this time.

And if they don't, try a different communication channel.

This is known as the BB84 protocol.

It's one of the simpler ways of distributing quantum keys.

There's another one called the E91 protocol that takes advantage of quantum entanglement.

This one is a little more complicated.

First of all, instead of the server generating a random bit sequence,

you both receive half of a bunch of entangled qubits from a trusted third party.

You and the server then randomly pick from 3 orientations to measure your own half.

You then compare orientations, and note the ones that were the same.

But instead of throwing the rest of them away,

you can use the mismatches to check for an eavesdropper.

You know there was an eavesdropper if something called Bell's inequality was satisfied.

If Bell's inequality was not satisfied, it means that there was no eavesdropping, and

the key is safe to use.

Of course these protocols aren't perfect.

They rely on accurate transmission of qubits, which doesn't always happen in the real world.

So in reality, you need to sacrifice a bit more information

to do error correction.

And that's assuming you can even send qubits in the first place.

The existing infrastructure of the internet cannot.

But small quantum networks are being built.

They have all even successfully performed the BB84 protocol.

In addition, these protocols also don't fix all the problems the classical ones have.

For instance, man-in-the-middle attacks are still possible, where the eavesdropper impersonates

both you and the server, so neither of you notice anything wrong.

Denial of service attacks still are possible by simply "eavesdropping" on purpose.

The eavesdropper will be detected every time, but you and the server will never be able

to make a key, and thus can't communicate securely.

The solutions to these problems may involve broader fields,

such as authentication and networking.

In the end, quantum computers are a double edged sword, at least in the world of security.

They break our current system, but they open the door for more advanced ones.

But isn't that pointless?

Why develop quantum computers in the first place if they break and then re-solve the same problem?

Why the trouble?

It's because they open up new possibilities.

Breaking security is just one of many things they can do.

They can also improve database performance, and give us more accurate simulations of quantum mechanics,

which could accelerate research in medicine

or other technologies.

Every new discovery comes with opportunity and costs.

We can't complain when the eavesdroppers are just using superior tech to our own.

The threat is real, but people believe in advancing science and technology,

because of its potential to improve our lives. Sometimes...

we just need to keep up with it.

Oh no...

GAYO BANGTAN 2017 GAME - Duration: 14:34.

[BTS Gayo]

It's time to enjoy K-Pop with BTS.

Bangtan Gayo!

[Noisy and chaotic]

Don't you like it?

[Proud] It was me, J-Hope.

The topic for today is "Learn Children's Song from a Variety Show!"

- [J-Hope] Anyone has a favorite children's song? - I never listen to that.

"Deep in the mountain, a little spring~ Who comes for a drink from the spring~" [Lyrics of "Little Spring"]

[What should be the penalty?] - The penalty... - We're out of ideas.

We've had too many penalties.

[V's idea] Hug all the staff members here...

and say you love them.

Is there a good one?

[Staff] Buy coffee for all the staff members.

[Sounds great!] Buy coffee for all the staff members.

[Must be your credit card] You have to verify that the card is yours.

Did you bring your own card today?

- I did. - I brought it.

I may look like an old man...

[That's what old men do!] I got it right here.

It's always on the back of my cellphone.

[RapMon] Then it'll be coffee for everyone including us.

[Penalty's set] Let's get started!

Learn children's song from a variety show!

Bangtan Gayo!

[What would be the first game?] What do we have to do?

[ROUND 1. Today's BTS Gayo - Learn Children's Song from a Variety Show]

[1. Each member will sit down on the chair and wear the headsets to block all the sound]

[2. He will listen to the song called "Calf"]

[He should correctly sing "Butterfly"]

[3. Correct version of "Butterfly" = success]

[Off-pitch/wrong lyrics = fail]

- [Staff] Are you ready? - Yes.

- Play the song. - Alright.

[It goes like this] "Come fly, fly~"

["Butterfly, butterfly. Come fly, fly"] [Dancing]

["Yellow butterfly, white butterfly"] [Bouncing]

["Come here while dancing"] [Swag like a butterfly]

[Suga goes first] You only have one chance.

I can't hear anything!

[Smirking] Start!

"Butterfly, butterfly..."

Fail!

I'll do it.

[Not understandable] Why did he fail?

- Is that hard? I think I can do it. - Try it!

[Speaking clearly] "Come fly, fly."

"Swallowtail, white butterfly." [Swallowtail (X), yellow butterfly (O)]

[Mission Impossible] This is too difficult.

Why did you stop?

[Impossible] This is really hard.

Bu...tter...fly...

[No way] [Members in agitation]

[J-Hope] Are you saying that this is really hard?

"Swallowtail (?), white butterfly~"

"Butterfly, swallow...tail."

[Laughter] [He's being funny]

Come on, man. Come on, yo!

He dressed up as like...

"Butterfly!!!!"

What is it?

He turned it off.

"Butterfly, butterfly."

[He fails to cheat] Wait!

[We won't let you] You can't do that.

He even turned off the speaker!

What are you talking about?

[No excuses] This is what he was doing.

[Why are you doing this to me?]

[Suga is kicked out because he cheated]

[RapMon] I should go. I'm the worst singer of BTS.

I agree.

[Dancing]

"Butterfly, butterfly." [Soulful]

"Come fly..."

[RapMon] Is there any rap for kids?

"Butterfly~ butterfly~"

You're singing out of tune!

[Jimin] That calf is annoying me!

I want to sing "Butterfly~" but I'm hearing "Calf~ Calf~"

"Butterfly~ butterfly~"

"Come fly, fly~" [Doing great]

[That's my boy] "Yellow butterfly, white butterfly."

[Almost done!] "Come here while dancing~"

['Golden Maknae' Jung Kook makes it!] Amazing!

- Wow, you did it. - This is really hard.

[Suga] You have to know this though.

[I'm a rapper] I can't sing.

Yeah, I told you.

"Come fly, fly."

"Yellow butterfly, white butterfly."

"Come here while dancing~"

[Unacceptable] This isn't right!

What do I do?

I can't sing.

[Jimin] I think the writers should decide.

What do you think about Suga's song?

[Staff] We'd say Suga passed this mission.

[After all, Suga made it!]

"Yellow butterfly, white butterfly. Come fly, fly (?)"

"Come here while dancing~"

It has to come here while dancing!

"Butterfly, butterfly. Come fly, fly."

[Warming up] NANANANANANA~

[V did it!]

[Suga] You just have to sing as you go.

[Another guy who can't sing]

[You didn't pass] - You failed. - Did I make it?

No, no!

- [Staff] We'd say this is acceptable. - Really?

[Jin made it!!]

[Soulful RapMon did it!]

[Finally, Jimin did it!!]

[J-Hope gets the last place!!]

[Jimin] It was really confusing.

[I got the last place...]

Are you buying us coffee?

[RapMon] Aren't you our vocalist, J-Hope?

[J-Hope] I'll make it up in the next round.

You're right.

The second game is "Single Verse Karaoke for Kid's Song."

[ROUND 2. Today's BTS Gayo - Learn Children's Song from a Variety Show]

[1. Each member will take a turn and sings a verse of the song they choose]

[2. One of the remaining members will be the judge]

[With the toy hammer, he'll smack the member who sings a wrong verse]

[3. The game should be repeated until there's one final winner]

[Shall we get started?]

I'll pick one randomly.

["Three Bears" vs. "Calf"]

[I know that song]

[Playing "Calf," which they're not familiar with]

["There's a little calf sitting upon some coal."]

I don't know this song.

["Mommy~ Mommy~ My bottom feel so hot"]

I know the part that goes "my bottom feels so hot."

- I choose ""Three Bears." - I choose ""Three Bears."

[I'm older!] I said it first so I'll take that.

- Let's play rock-paper-scissors! - Rock-paper-scissors!

Rock-paper-scissors!

I choose "Three Bears."

[Cute]

[Serious]

[Hit!]

[What was that?] That was quick!

[Excited]

[Concentrating]

[Super happy and bright]

[He's the cautious guy] "Mommy~ Mommy~"

[1st stage completed!] Let's speed it up.

[3rd stage now...]

Wrong!

[Hit!] Wrong lyrics!

It's wrong?

Bye!

[V] [Agitatedly] They say I was right!

[J-Hope] But you didn't sing properly.

According to the video.. you're wrong! Leave.

[V] [Very upset] If I'm right...

[Threatening] I don't know what I'm going to do!

Anyone who wins 3 times will be the final winner!

3 times?

[No mercy] I'm going to fail Jimin first.

[New songs: "My Little Shoes" vs "The Umbrella"]

"My Little Shoes" vs "The Umbrella"

Hit!

Why? I was right..!

Oh.. what? [Hit!]

[Swept away] "...when it's drizzling..."

Is that teuroteu?

[Confident] Come out!

[Delightful]

[Hit!]

I won twice!

Can I challenge him if I want to?

Go for it!

What.. is it? [Hit!]

[Suga's first victory after he won 3 times]

This is too hard!

[Next songs: "Little Spring" vs "Plop Plop"]

[Jin vs V: Their rematch]

[Plop plop]

[Precarious] Daw..n...

No, no. Wrong! [Hit!]

[Gibberish]

[Hit!]

Don't rap...

[Where do you think you're going?] Sit. I have to hit you.

Your punishment. [Hit!]

Next!

[Cute]

OK, OK. Let's go!

[J-Hope, let's go!!!]

Ugh... what?

- No. There's more. - It's not over!

[Excited]

Ugh! I was so close!!!

"The rabbits at the break of day, Rubbing their eyes when they awake~"

"...sitting on the other side, washing sprout."

He was correct!

[Suga] But his beat was slow.

His tempo was OK though. [RapMon wins!!]

Rap Monster, you did it!

[Wait a minute!!] Suga's super fast counting...

is about to begin.

5, 6, 7, 8!

5, 6, 7, 8!

5, 6, 7, 8!

"There are three bears in a house, Baby bear is too cute!"

"Mommy~"

5, 6, 7, 8!

"There are three bears in a house, Daddy bear, Mommy bear, baby bear!"

[Jin won!]

I won!

[Suga] You've got to have a sense of rhythm!

5, 6, 7, 8 [Trying it again with the new song]

Beef!

- Beef. - 0:1.

[Getting serious] People are being distractive too.

It should be a psychological warfare.

- Oh no! - Did I win twice?

I won! ['Golden Maknae' Jung Kook wins!!]

OK. Who's next?

[Only J-Hope, V, and Jimin are left]

[What?] "The rabbits at the break of day..."

- Ugh! What? - OK!

[Disrupting]

He won.

[V] We should do advance... cyzer (?)...

We don't know what that is. Just have a seat.

[J-Hope won dramatically!]

[Jimin] There're only two of us left.

Why am I so nervous?

['95ers choosing a song together] This one? Or that one?

- I'll go with that one. - OK.

Rock-paper-scissors!

Calf~

[RapMon] Is there anyone who exactly knows "The Icicles"?

Stop confusing him.

- No, it's correct! - It is?

[The final round for the 2nd game begins!] 5, 6, 7, 8!

[Serious]

[Concentrating]

[1st stage completed] [Tension's increasing!!!]

This is great.

[V wins after the close game!!]

Jimin, you lost! Just as what I expected.

[Zoning out] Let's start the next game.

- Next game. - Next one!

- Next round. - Let's go!

[What game would be this time?] Here's the third game.

- What's the third game? - I'd like to know.

[1 One of the members will sing SNSD's "Gee"]

[2 As he sings, he'll move the screen covering the laptop when the staff gives a sign]

[3 He must fill in the blanks of the lyrics to win!]

[Suga] Everyone, I'm here to demonstrate.

I'll show you how to play the game.

Breathing...

[He finally moves the screen!]

He can't even see that.

[Pause]

You can't stop!

- [Suga] If you stop, you lose. - You're right.

You can't get the lyrics wrong.

[Suga] I can assure you that...

[Confidence] you won't make it.

[I dare you] I can guarantee that.

[Is he going to fail as Suga predicted?]

[What should I do?]

[You can do it!] Don't pause!

[You laughed at me?] I'm telling you. That's really hard.

- I can't do this. - I'll do it.

- You'll fail. - I'll do it.

[V] I was singing the part that goes "bright,"

and "twinkle twinkle little star" popped up.

RapMon, why don't you sing the song?

Why does he sing like that?

I think he'll fail.

[Embarrassed]

What is this???

- "I guess I'm a fool." - Get out! Get out!

No! I knew the first two songs!!

[Sexy]

[Elegant]

[Energetic J-Hope]

[Full of sprit] Move the screen!

[The screen..] Move that!!!!

He was so into dancing...

[Gibberish] "Jijibebe (?)"

[He's finally writing something down!]

[But eventually, he fails!]

I don't know the lyrics. [I'm not sure what I wrote]

I think I can get this.

I don't know this song. What is it?

[It says it's going to snow...] [What's going on...]

I'm almost done writing.

The answer is "Snow come down."

"Snow come down from the sky."

"[Nochu] angels spread again. [Pure] white cotton."

"Spread again." Is that correct? [Jung Kook failed!]

- No. - Nope. Nochu...

[Too busy to look both sides] [What is this song...]

[RapMon] The rabbit dance. The fox..

Didn't he rap?

[He eventually wrote "applauding"...] OK. It's over!

I don't know this song.

[Suga] Jimin, do you know the song called "Gee"?

- "Gee"? - Yes!

[Suga] How old were you when this song was released?

- This came out when I was... - Play the song please.

- Play it please. - ...13 years old.

When you were 13, Jimin?

Do you know "Gee"? I don't think you know.

- This is so easy. - Easy!

"Frangrant." What? OK!

- Did he get it right? - Nope.

[As Suga expected, everyone failed]

[Finally, it's decided that Jimin and J-Hope should compete with each other]

Please keep dancing.

[J-Hope's first try!]

[Dazed..?]

[Going crazy] [Frustrated]

[How many times have we done this?] Please just get it right!

[Sweating] I'm so frustrated!

No, spelling! [Jimin misspelled the word]

- Spelling. - Wrong! Wrong!

[I got this!!!!]

[Swiftly] [J-Hope corrects the misspelled word]

[Pit-a-pat][Excited] - Is he correct? - Correct!

[Thanks to Jimin, J-Hope won!!] It was the spelling!

[Extremely happy] Why am I so happy about this?

[The penalty's for Jimin] Jimin gets the bottom place!

Oh, that one word!

I was close. [This is not fair]

He's the most unlucky man.

- This is amazing. - That was really close.

You have to know the spelling!

[RapMon] We've learned about Korean children's songs.

How was it, everyone?

[J-Hope] This wasn't easy.

There are innumerable Korean children's songs.

I've never imagined.

ASTRONOMERS PUZZLED BY MINI BIG BANG OF UNKNOWN ORIGINS - Duration: 5:38.

ASTRONOMERS PUZZLED BY MINI BIG BANG OF UNKNOWN ORIGINS

For a few minutes, the cataclysmic explosion produced a thousand times more energy than

all the stars in the galaxy combined.

The mysterious flash in the X-ray spectrum was spotted by the NASAs Chandra X-ray

Observatory as it was peeking into the farthest reaches of our universe.

Astronomers suspect the bang can be attributed to some sort of destructive event but they

admit they havent seen anything like it before.

The source of the cosmic explosion was found in an area known as the Chandra Deep Field

South (CDF-S) and the region itself is quite strange.

Before October 2014, the CDF-S looked like an unassuming chunk of space, that is until

the event occurred and the area became 1,000 times brighter in the space of just a few

hours.

Following the incident, astronomers pointed both Hubble and the Spitzer space telescopes

towards the source of the massive explosion and after thousands of hours of carefully

gathering data, they were able to pinpoint the exact location to a small galaxy 10.7

billion light-years from Earth.

This meant that the cosmic boom that put out more energy than all the stars in the galaxy

combined took place more than 10 billion years ago, when galaxies were very young.

The early universe seems like it was a wild and dangerous place.

Understandably, this singular event took astronomers by surprise and ever since they witnessed

it unfold, theyve been struggling to grasp its importance.

Ever since discovering this source, weve been struggling to understand its origin,

said Franz Bauer of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile in Santiago, Chile.

Its like we have a jigsaw puzzle but we dont have all of the pieces.

There are several theories attempting to explain the explosion and all of them involve detonations

powerful enough to rip the space-time continuum a new one.

Scientists suspect the X-ray source could have originated with a gamma-ray burst, GRB

for short.

GRBs are massive surges of energy that happen when enormous stars collapse or when neutron

stars collide with one another.

Another plausible source for a gamma-ray burst could be the merger between a neutron star

and a black hole.

To get a sense of what went on, you first need to know just what kind of heat a neutron

star is packing.

Neutron stars are collapsed cores of massive stars and they are the hottest, densest type

of stars in our known universe.

Although their diameter rarely exceeds 20 miles, they typically weigh twice as much

as our own sun.

This means that a matchbox of neutron star matter would weigh about 3 billion tonnes.

Oh, and they spin like crazy.

The fastest neutron star revolves around its own axis a whopping 716 times per second,

which means that if you could theoretically exist on its surface, you would be traveling

at a quarter of the speed of light.

Now imagine two of these bad boys running into each other.

GRB moment right there.

WE MAY HAVE OBSERVED A COMPLETELY NEW TYPE OF CATACLYSMIC EVENT.

Another explanation for the oxymoronic mini big bang could be a medium-sized black hole

sitting down to devour a white dwarf, with the X-ray emission as a result of the black

hole being a messy eater.

Unfortunately, none of these ideas fits the data perfectly, said study co-author

Ezequiel Treister, but then again, weve rarely if ever seen any of the proposed possibilities

in actual data, so we dont understand them well at all.

So whats all this have to do with us? you might ask.

Well, picture a GRB as a jetted discharge of energy, or better yet, a big-ass cosmic

death ray.

Should one occur closer to home (that is, somewhere in the Milky Way galaxy) and if

the Earth stood in its path, a gamma-ray burst could theoretically wipe us out.

It could deplete the ozone layer by as much as 75%, massively increasing ultraviolet radiation

to a point where no amount of sunscreen would offer protection.

It would cause chemical reactions in our atmosphere that could lead to what scientists call a

cosmic winter as well as global acid rains.

The effects would last for years.

Scientists suspect such an event took place in Earths distant past and it could be

responsible for the Ordovician-Silurian extinction events some 450 million years ago.

RIP trilobites and nearly 85% of all marine species at that time.

Resurrecting another big lie: The myth of Social Security as "Ponzi scheme" - politics - Duration: 8:33.

Resurrecting another big lie: The myth of Social Security as Ponzi scheme

In these pestilent, perilous times, when the very idea of distinction between truth and

falsehood is under siege, its more critical than ever to keep a sharp lookout for destructive

false analogies.

Without an anchor in provable fact its dangerously easy to get taken in by them.

So I am particularly exasperated by a sample dished up by scaremongers, namely that the

Social Security program, our rock of security and stability for an aging population for

the last 80 years, is a Ponzi scheme a swindle designed to cheat Americans out of

their money with false promises.

This especially ugly lie resurfaces periodically like the Loch Ness Monster and the Abominable

Snowman and is just as devoid of proof, but at least those fakes are harmless.

The same cant be said of the presumed equality between Ponzis scam and Social Security,

which was aired during last falls campaign by such eminent would-be Republican candidates

as Chris Christie, Rick Perry, Mike Huckabee and Rand Paul in the gang scrimmages that

passed for debates.

In condensed form, heres why.

Charles Ponzi was undeniably a swindler.

In 1919 he was a resident of Boston, an apparently well-liked, clever and gregarious businessman,

with a secret past that included two felony convictions and imprisonments, one for check

forgery and the other for a role in a scheme to smuggle illegal immigrants from Canada

into the United States.

In the start of the boom year that we call the Roaring 20s he launched a new con,

promising investors in a securities firm that he set up, that he would double their money

in 90 days or increase it by half in 45.

Skipping the details, which can be found easily in many search engines, it involved speculation

in foreign postage stamps, which in itself was legal.

Palpably impossible promises were not.

All the same, suckers lined up in their thousands, as Ponzi himself blossomed out with a lifestyle

appropriate to a millionaire, supposedly thanks to his personal investment.

So did some of the early dupes the catch being that Ponzi was paying them and himself

with the deposits of later starry-eyed dreamers of overnight riches that he had not yet used

to buy more stamps.

Ponzi was, however, caught in his own trap of clearly false promises.

There was no possible way that the profits on any investment could earn such mountainous

rewards in so short a time.

Ponzi soon found himself sinking deeper into debt.

Financial reporters and officials smelled a rat and before Ponzi could take the money

and run, if that was his intentionand even if not he was arrested in the summer of

1920 on mail fraud charges and sent to prison for 14 years.

Bear that demonstrated fact in mind.

Though the cheat itself may have predated Ponzi, his name clung to it, and by definition

a Ponzi scheme is a criminal enterprise to fleece the gullible.

Now consider Social Security.

It was launched by act of Congress in 1935, in the pit of the Great Depression.

It is a completely self-funded program fed by a mandatory payroll tax, each worker and

employer putting in a percentage of the workers salary.

The annual retirement benefits vary and are paid basically out of the sum collected from

that tax.

If, after the paying the benefits, there is a surplus left in the Treasury, it goes into

a dedicated fund, popularly called a lockbox, in the from which future benefits are paid.

And here is a bedrock reality: The system works.

Through the years, despite sweeping changes in the economy, the size and longevity of

the population, and changing ratios of retirees to still active workers, all of which required

adjustments, Social Security has paid the beneficiaries in full and on time.

The first one was a Mrs. Ida May Fuller, who got a check for $22.54 on Jan. 31, 1940.

A little less five months later, on June 14, I was enrolled in the program on my first

job as an office boy.

The minimum wage, which I received at that time, was $12 for a 40-hour week.

I still proudly show my original signed card.

Not only does the system work but the evidence is overwhelming that public opinion from all

points of the political spectrum is rightfully determined to preserve it.

Now think for a moment about what the tea party-dominated Republicans are actually saying:

That this government-run public insurance program which for more than two generations

has allowed seniors to live their post-working lives with a modicum of dignity and security

is identical with a genuine criminal enterprise.

Its beyond outrage.

It is a super falsehood spewed out of the publications of well-funded right wing think

tanks and the mouths of well-paid right-wing radio and television liars.

What they claim is that the lockbox is a fraud, an accounting trick.

Its filled with government bonds, which are simply IOUs to ourselves, and will decline

in value as the national debt, swollen by entitlements like Social Security and

Medicare (but not gigantic military expenditures) mounts toward the stratosphere.

They point to borrowings from it under certain legally permissible circumstances as raids

to fund such sinful extravagances as programs to feed hungry children, fund research into

curing treatable diseases or provide temporary unemployment benefits to working families

whose jobs have been outsourced or automated.

The Ponzi scheme lie folds neatly into the prediction of the doomsayers that the

growing number of retirees combined with the shrinking of the work force is leaving the

yearly intake less than the outgo and will soon cause the system to go broke, ultimately

leaving current and future beneficiaries the old and the young as high and dry as Ponzis

victims.

The math is not wrong.

But it is a problem that can be fixed with adjustments to the tax to boost collections,

and a start might well be made by raising the cap that allows salaried employees to

escape payment after their paychecks reach $118,000 and the tax is a smaller bite out

of their income a regressive idea if ever there was one.

Or by other reasonable adjustments to retirement age, the percentage of deductions in the payroll

tax, the progressive taxation of the benefits, or means tests to eliminate the rich from

the system altogether.

I would personally deplore that last option because it violates the concept of social

insurance rather than handouts to the improvident.

In any case measures like these could extend the life of the system for decades.

Ah, yes, but thats when the shortfalls are considered a problem, not a crime, and

the doomsayers of the far right want it to be a crime because it fits so neatly into

their longstanding basic agenda of demonizing government as the root of all evil.

The mindset of the Wall Street plutocrats, whose greed has no limits, and their free

market ideologue allies is one that aches at the very thought of some public service

that could be turned into a fountain of private profit.

They claim that deregulation and return to free market economics is the pathway

to prosperity for all.

Their recent success in pushing public policy in that direction has given us the honor

of having the greatest income inequality in much of the developed world.

The Social Security is a Ponzi crime scam continues because it is essential to

the deceptive mythology of unregulated capitalisms billionaire class, and it is especially cruel

because it has already convinced many young workers that in fact they will never receive

a penny in Social Security benefits and struck fear into the hearts of those already collecting

benefits that they will lose them the young and the old alike.

That is both vicious and cruel, and to expose and denounce it, especially in this age of

flourishing frauds, is the duty of any rational and fair-minded person.

Why Are They So Afraid Of The World Finding Out The Truth About - Duration: 8:51.

Why Are They So Afraid Of The World Finding Out The Truth About Antarctica?

As More Bizarre Anomalies Emerge From The Ice At The Bottom Of The Earth, Globalist

Mouthpieces Go Into 'Cover Up' Mode!

According to this March 14th, 2017 story from Popular Mechanics, "There Never Was A Secret

Nazi Base In Antarctica".

Vice's Motherboard 'doubled down' on that proclamation in a March 2017 story called

"Fake News About A Secret Nazi UFO Base In Antarctica Refuses To Die" which claimed any

kind of a 'secret Nazi base' in Antarctica is purely 'fake news'.

And while the Santa Monica Observer recently called the 'secret Nazi base' in Antarctica

the 5th ranked 'fake news story' of 2016 we have to ask, who made globalist mouthpieces

the final determiner of truth from falsehood?

The fact that Popular Mechanics won't even recognize chemtrails or weather modification,

though the former head of the CIA has admitted to them as has the nation of China (and you

can find one patent after another regarding weather modification here at Dane Wigington's

GeoEngineering Watch website) should prove to us that Popular Mechanics is running cover-up

for the globalists, peddling propaganda.

As for Vice & Motherboard, they've also run one story after another calling those who

believe in weather modification or chemtrails 'tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorists'.

If they're STILL running cover-up on weather modification and chemtrails, though now 100%

proven, what else are they covering up?

And what do their 'slave masters' want them to hide about Antarctica?

something very unusual is now going on at the bottom of the world and while we are not

in the position to prove that there are Nazi UFO bases in Antarctica, we are in the position

to prove something very strange is indeed going on down there and for some reason, somebody

doesn't want us to know about it.

Between 1901 and 1938, the nation of Germany made 3 major expeditions to Antarctica with

the 3rd one in 1938-39 establishing 'New Swabia', an unrecognized Antarctic claim of Nazi Germany.

According to Wikipedia, one of the goals of the final expedition was to establish a submarine

base in Antarctica and while New Swabia was alleged to have existed at least until the

surrender of Germany in 1945, as we see documented in this story, a far greater mystery emerged.

As Wikipedia documents, during the Nazi's return trip to Germany in 1939, the expedition

stopped to make oceanographic studies near an uninhabited and mysterious island called

'Bouvet Island'.

More than 70 years later, STILL uninhabited Bouvet Island sits at the southern end of

the Mid-Atlantic Ridge where it is considered to be the most remote island in the world.

Yet despite being uninhabited, Bouvet Island is the home to a top-level internet domain

code, .BV, and as we see in this story and hear in the videos below, Bouvet Island is

also in the general vicinity of several recent and long-time unsolved mysteries.

According to this 2012 story from Sputnik News that was picked up days later by the

Washington Post they reported that all the way back in 1943, Germany's Grand Admiral

Karl Dnitz was quoted as saying: Germany's submarine fleet is proud that it created an

unassailable fortress for the Fuehrer on the other end of the world, in Antarctica".

Donitz took over as leader of Germany after the 'alleged death' of Hitler and, according

to Wikipedia, had played a major role in the naval history of World War II.

We also know as fact that just years later, Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd led Operation

Highjump ('officially' a US Navy Antarctic development program) to Antarctica and while

we know we'll never get the full truth about what happened during that time period from

the mainstream media, Steve Quayle has compiled a huge list of 'High Jump' stories here for

those who'd like to read more about that aspect of the Antarctic cover-up.

According to a 61-page collection of memoirs of former US president John F. Kennedy, JFK

believed that Nazi Germany leader Adolf Hitler escaped Germany via submarine prior to his

death.

JFK speculated that the Fuhrer could have remained alive after the end of the war.

Conspiracy theories abound that Hitler didn't actually die in Berlin, but that he escaped

via submarine, either to Argentina or even to a secret Nazi underground base in Antarctica.

(Interesting book for sale about Hitler escaping to Argentina can be found here.)

And while many historians claim evidence for those theories remain scant and most historians

deny those possibilities, we know now for fact that Project Paperclip was: a secretive

United States Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency (JIOA) program in which more than 1,600

German scientists, engineers, and technicians (many of whom were formerly registered members

of the Nazi Party and some of whom had leadership roles in the Nazi Party) were recruited and

brought to the United States for government employment from post-Nazi Germany (after World

War II).

If something huge really is going on now down in Antarctica that would help explain the

many recent visits there by the 1% and dignitaries from over the world, should we really expect

TPTB to tell us?

n this recent story from UFO Sightings Hotspot that Steve Quayle linked to on his website

on Monday they report upon another very strange anomaly coming to us from the bottom of the

world as seen in the screenshot from MIMIC above.

A 'spiral anomaly' that appears to begin from the Antarctic region, this is just the latest

anomaly that we've seen over the past several months coming from the Antarctic as we've

previously documented in numerous stories on ANP.

As Pam Jones for Liberty recently asked, have they activated HAARP in Antarctica? Jones

makes some excellent points in this story entry: If you have been following the strange

things going on in Antarctica, this is sure to peek your curiosity.

Huge Wave Anomaly are coming from near the Mystery Base and Pyramids in Antarctica.

Right where pyramids were found in antartica is a base called Princess Elizabeth

that appears to be shooting massive frequencies.

WHAT are the elites doing?

WHY?

We deserve the TRUTH!

ANP agrees completely - will we ever get it?

What is now happening in Antarctica and why are 'we the people' not getting any answers

from those who are supposed to be 'public servants'?

According to this December 29th of 2016 story from the NY Post, "scientists believe a massive

object that could change our understanding of history is hidden beneath the Antarctic

ice."

Reporting that this "huge and mysterious 'anomaly' is thought to be lurking beneath the frozen

wastes of an area called Wilkes Land", once again we got indications from a mainstream

source that something is going on at the bottom of the Earth in a land covered by ice for

millions of years according to scientists and mainstream science.

However, as this March 23rd story from USAToday reports, both the Arctic and Antarctic poles

have just set a terrifying new record for low levels of sea ice.

With ice melting down allegedly exposing long hidden secrets according to several different

stories and sources, how many more secrets might soon be revealed?

Will we soon find out the 'real hidden truth' about our planet Earth and the truths about

our past that have long been hidden?

For those who may have missed it, in the first video below we hear from Steve Quayle in a

recent QCast in which he talks with us about The Empire Beneath the Ice including the Nazi's

and their UFO's while referencing the upcoming True Legends Conference in Branson, Missouri

on September 15th through 17th.

we hear more about the bizarre spiral anomaly that recently originated from the Antarctic

as was seen on MIMIC, Anonymous talks with us about Antarctica and Operation Highjump

while claiming what we're witnessing in the Antarctic right now is one of

the biggest coverups in history.

Lyra Home Of Human Consciousness - Duration: 19:49.

Lyra - Home Of Human Consciousness

by Lyssa Royal

The beginnings of humanoid consciousness began in the area you call the constellation Lyra.

Eventually the consciousness took bodily form (in terms of humanoid beings), and within

the Lyra system civilizations began exploding in all directions.

They began polarizing themselves, as is the natural template of your reality for having

a polarized reality stirs you to achieve integration.

Lyran Light-Skinned and Vegan Dark-Skinned Humanoids

You had then what we will call the Lyran civilizations, which were, generally speaking, humanoids

like you, usually a Caucasian type.

The other foundational civilization was from the system Vega. There is a star Vega in your

Lyran constellation. In terms of light years, its much closer to you than Lyra, but they

regard themselves as part of the Lyran system.

The Vegan civilizations are also a certain genetic strain, a less Caucasian type.

Still humanoid, they are more representative of the darker skinned races on your planet,

from Native American to East Indian to aborigine. Some of the specific African races on your

planet were specifically engineered for Earth, so you may not find the exact type out there.

These two polarities began the explosion of humanoid civilizations outward into the galaxy

until you eventually get to Earth.

Well give you a little bit of the family tree here. We shall start with Source. Weve

talked about the dimensional infusion, the eventual explosion into this dimensional reality

(of course, it didnt happen like that), and the eventual polarization of the Lyran

and Vegan races.

Related: Which star system did YOU originate from?

The Two Genetic Strains

Lets take this a little further. As this is extremely simplified, there are literally

hundreds of civilizations that are not represented here. But this is the basic template.

As you say in your Bible (and we will use it humorously),

Lyra begat Terra

Lyra begat Pleiadians

Vega begat Orion

Vega begat Sirius

You can see some of the genetic progressions here. The Terrans (Terrans, of course being

you) and the Pleiadians are more light-skinned (Lyran).

Orions and Sirians are somewhat more Vegan. Now, there are a myriad of other civilizations:

for instance, in the Vegan genetic chain there are Alpha Centauri and Altair, various planets

in the Draco system, and some civilizations within Ursa Major. Those are minor players.

We speak of the main players of this drama.

Youll hear us talk about the Lyran and Sirian groups more than the Lyran/Vegan [level

of polarity].

The Vegans were the first civilization here on Earth, before the Lyrans ever came. This

was during the time when prehistoric creatures were on your planet. Your Earth then was considered

a future Vegan colony; when the planet settled down it would become a Vegan colony.

Since Vega is close to your Earth in light years, this is very natural.

Troublemaking Lyrans

But the Lyrans came eventually and caused a lot of trouble (which is something theyre

known for). At some point the Vegans pulled out and it became a Lyran planet. Generations

and generations later, the Sirians, who were begat from the Vegans, came back to claim

the Earth. So the conflict thus lies between the Sirians and the Lyrans.

Those of you who have read a book on your planet called The Gods of Eden will find a

reference to the Brotherhood versus the custodial Gods. This dynamic of the Brotherhood, the

custodial Gods, the Lyrans and the Sirians has been playing on your planet since its

inception.

You have two groups who believe, or did believe, that you were their territory.

You Were Your Forefathers

Before we go further with this we do not want to imply that you are all puppets on a string.

The key idea is that, reincarnationally speaking, you today were these forefathers who fought

over you. So its an internal family struggle; youre fighting against yourselves. No one

is doing anything to you. You are attempting to heal your past by bringing up these past

issues in contemporary times. This is why you see many of the divisions on your planet

now.

Archetypally speaking, the Brotherhood, the Sirian group, was the group that had knowledge,

the group that cared about humanity cared enough to occasionally give you a carrot to

appease you, a tidbit of information so that you would grow. The Lyrans would be more like

the custodial Gods or the authoritarian, perhaps religious, figures you are aware of who are

more concerned with keeping you subverted.

So this is the dynamics that have been playing on your planet for millennia. You have a group

thats attempting to enlighten you (in their own way) and a group thats attempting to

oppress you. Again, its yourself doing it to yourself. Its the polarities within

yourselves raging this war. This history is only the external dynamic of how it occurred.

The creation of mankind was basically a joint effort, though somewhat reluctantly on the

part of the Lyrans and the Sirians, who both wanted the race on Earth to be created for

their own purposes. So after Homo sapiens was fully autonomous on the planet and began

multiplying, then the more subtle wars began over who was going to be the lord over you.

The Time of the ET Overlords

During the times of early man (for instance, Sumeria) the planet was divided into various

areas where a certain overlord was in charge. As you go through the mythologies on your

planet you find Gods in different civilizations with different names but with strikingly similar

qualities for instance, Innana in Sumeria, Quan Yin in Asia, Isis in Egypt.

Those are all representative of the same consciousness, of an overlord during a given time period.

However, the consciousness that many of you have come to know and love, Isis/Quan Yin,

is not what we are talking about. (The Quan Yin, the Isis, is more archetypal now; its

the evolved version of that consciousness that has come to terms and integrated with

everything and now serves as a loving force for evolution.)

Were talking about the past physical history that has been attributed to these names. We

are talking about the personification of these overlords, these Gods on your planet.

Many of you may wonder why God is sometimes referred to in some of your ancient writings

as being a real person, a physical person. Many of the very, very ancient writings have

not been altered, and they speak of God as a physical person. These extraterrestrial

beings were no more God than you are with each other; they were physical beings.

Throughout the ages their true nature has been either deliberately manipulated and changed

to keep people under control or it has become distorted through the passing of time.

Rest assured that what we are saying to you will represent one aspect. There is also a

lot being communicated to you on another level of consciousness, so you may feel that your

head is crammed very full. You may have a lot of later insights, things weve not

even talked about today. So much of this history is so convoluted and nonlinear that sometimes

we must share with you concepts in nonlinear communication rather than through language.

A School to Learn This History

Is there ever going to be a school or any kind of an educational system here that will

acquaint us with these ideas and concepts?

It is our understanding that yes, eventually there will be, but it might not be in the

next ten years. A lot of undoing and unraveling will need to be done before this information

can be communicated to you. When we say undoing and unraveling, were talking about the

hold that much of your religious structure has on your societal development.

Its like a plant with very deep roots; if you try to dig out the plant, all the surrounding

dirt is disturbed as well. Society may not be ready for that type of massive change.

This information will eventually be recognized, because even as we speak there are experts

who are translating Sumerian and many other texts found in areas of your Middle East.

Most 75% of the information has not been released, some because its not understood.

Some of it hasnt been released because it is recognized to be in direct contradiction

to what has been part of your planet. So for now, at least, youre not going to learn

about this in your elementary schools.

But in the future, yes.

Hidden Agendas and the Inheritance of Core Beliefs

I would like to make sure we touch on some of those core-belief systems that we have

inherited from these previous times, such as the idea of monogamy or the influence of

the Church, the power structure, that sort of thing.

Some of the hidden agendas that apparently were played at that time are still carrying

on here.

Hidden agendas is wonderful terminology. There are so many hidden agendas going on

your planet. In fact, they are so hidden that the people who originally hid them cant

even remember where theyve hidden them. Thats your challenge. The idea of chaos

is part of it. These agendas are so hidden that you have to go into total chaos even

to know you have a hidden agenda, before you even find out what it is.

Since you brought up the idea of monogamy we will address that one. Were not going

to go in a linear format like we did before. Were going to field your questions and

throw in little tidbits for you, back and forth throughout history, that will help you

put the puzzle together. When you assemble a puzzle, you dont wait and do it in order.

You do it as it fits together.

Monogamy a Genetic Code

The idea of monogamy is a touchy one for some because it pushes a lot of buttons.

But we will say that in the very early days of your planet when there was a deliberate

breeding program to create accurate, direct bloodlines that the extraterrestrials in power

wanted, the work with your genetic structure was primarily in women.

There is still a latent genetic code that predisposes females to the idea of monogamy.

This was to keep bloodlines pure. It didnt matter if the male plucked around, as you

say, but it was very important that the key females did not, so that the children would

have a pure bloodline.

After these genetic programs were completed, the genetic code became more and more latent.

The genetic code in females that predisposes them to monogamy is triggered by the emotion

of fear, so it becomes active when fear is present, latent when fear is absent. In the

early days the extraterrestrials method of control was through fear; that is how fear

became the trigger.

In contemporary times you have various things that can trigger fear. For instance, the fear

of disease, the fear of not getting the love you need or want if you allow your partner

not to be monogamous, the fear that it somehow takes away from you, the fear that if your

partner is not monogamous with you perhaps your importance to him will be lessened, you

identity will perhaps crumble. There are different ways one can trigger this, but the basic trigger

is fear. When you heal the fear, the code becomes inactive.

There has been so much genetic mixture on your planet that we would say that males now

also possess the latent code. Its more inactive in males than in females, but it

exists now in both male and female bodies. The more fearful you are, the more that code

is triggered.

This is one of those wonderfully byproducts of the early genetic manipulation. But in

no way are you victims to it, because as you heal yourself, as you heal your relationship

with yourself, your issues of self-love, etc., you come out of the energy of fear and the

code becomes quite inactive; so much so that it would be difficult to access it.

This is an example of how certain deliberate genetic manipulation in the ancient past has

created a certain aspect of society that you have now. This is going to be changing. It

was necessary then that you be controlled. And of course later the churches etc. would

jump on the band wagon, because if you knew that you could love more than one person you

would not be in fear.

You would not be afraid of God, for one thing, so you wouldnt listen to the Church.

The Creation of the Human Biogenetic Structure

The creation of the biogenetic structure, how was that done? Was it chemical? Was it

just for the body or for the soul as well? Whats the makeup of the soul? Does it too

have an equivalent of DNA coding?

You are talking about the makeup of the human prototype created on Earth?

Yes, both the body and the energy that is the soul. Was that created as well?

The souls were not created, no.

The beings, the Lyrans and the Sirians who were involved in the genetic engineering of

the Earth human, were looking to create the perfect vehicle, a body, for themselves to

incarnate into eventually. Its kind of like building your own car.

They wanted to start from scratch, build the car, and be the driver of the car. So the

souls were already in existence. This is why we say you are them, because you were them.

The ETs we are talking about now who are fighting amongst themselves are reincarnationally you.

This is how you are bringing about the transformation and integration on your planet. You have achieved

what you set out to do the creation of the Terran race on Earth and then the

incarnation into that race in order to work out the problems of your forefathers.

In terms of the actual genetic work, there was an indigenous Terran species on Earth,

the primates. Throughout the primate development there were periods of time when genetics was

inserted to speed up the process. But it wasnt until Neanderthal when things went crazy a

little bit in a positive way.

There began an explosion of growth, and it was at that time they guided humankind into

Cro-Magnon man. Thats where the whole missing-link idea began.

The missing link was the time period in which your development was extremely accelerated.

Your anthropologists cant figure out what happened during that period because it doesnt

fit any of their theories. The most obvious thing is that you had help, but maybe theyre

not ready for that one yet.

So the vehicle became prepared then. The vehicle was given an instilment of extraterrestrial

genetics. What we speak of, though it may seem fantastic to many of you, is commonplace

out there in the universe. You hybridize plants on your planet, creating new forms of food.

This is a natural process of evolution. And you will be out there someday doing this type

of thing. Youll do it differently from your forefathers, we assure you. But its

part of evolution. Evolution has been frequently defined as occurring with no outside stimulus.

But outside stimulus is part of evolution, so perhaps a new definition of the idea of

evolution would assist you.

There was an infusion of the extraterrestrial genetics into the developing primate on Earth.

Therefore you had Homo sapiens. The whole Garden of Eden story is a symbolic representation

of your Terran species leap from second to third density, the awareness of the I Am.

That is how the race progressed into the prototype and then into the human kicked out of the

Garden of Eden, becoming responsible for themselves.

Until that prehistoric time youre talking about there was no outside stimulus? It was

just natural progression on the Earth?

Yes. We would say it was a very ancient time when the Vegans were here. They did a little

bit of terra-forming, shall we say, but there was not really the major project that the

Lyrans took on later.

The Soul Coding

What reincarnates? The I who was me then and who will be me in the future is perhaps both

my soul and my physical genetic representation but that original soul unaffected by the genetic

coding has its own coding. Where does that come from, and why should it be affected by

the Terra coding in our next reincarnation?

Good question.

First, a little bit of metaphysics here. Lets say that the oversoul is the palm of the hand.

The fingers are the lifetimes or incarnations. Now, the oversoul knows the entire story and

dictates what youre going to do. Thats your source. Thats the source that made

you Lyran, Sirian, and Terran the progression.

Genetics has been considered a physical thing. Its in your genes. Your genetic coding

is in your DNA. Now, there is etheric DNA (for lack of another term) that exists within

the matrices of your soul or your oversouls energy. This represents your past, your future,

your present all wrapped up into one idea. Its encoded by light frequencies.

This is what dictates or what attracts you to a certain type of body. When you want to

come into a lifetime, there will be various connections with the different bodies on Earth.

If you want to incarnate as a black person, maybe there have been lifetimes as other black

people and you want to resolve them. Thats one idea. Thats on the Earth level.

There are other levels that represent your identity with your Source on an etheric genetic

level. That will dictate your experiences and your genetic evolution, not against your

will but as a reflection of your will, and not only your genetic evolution on Earth,

but your metagenetic evolution, the genetic evolution of you as a light being.

Originally was this etheric DNA created by someone, some energy form?

No, not outside of you. Weve described the whole idea of the dimensional infusion,

which was your emergence into this reality that you all share. You came from a point

of integration into a reality of separation. When you fragmented it was like the shattering

of a mirror. You brought with you the original stuff that you were part of, and that is part

of your identity. Your experiences here alter your identity; they change it, expand it.

So its not that someone else created you but that who you are inherently created the

codes that we speak of. Its a reflection of you rather than a blueprint about you.

Art vs the Consumer | Catering to Censorship - Duration: 2:24.

(start sound, dog barks)

We live in strange days

where consumers feel they have a right to change what an artist initially wanted to reflect.

I'm curious as to how this would have changed what we value as masterpieces today

today if it had received the backlash that some art receives in this day and age.

It boggles my mind and entices my curiosity.

My brother is an artist, so yea, I am biased...

I truly believe that we aren't meant to change the original intent of the artist whether it offends or doesn't offend enough.

The tumultuous relationship consumers have versus artists

has heightened with the rise of social media.

Everyone feels the need to have a say on how something should be created

based on how it made them feel as a person.

. I guess I just grew up with the idea that art is just supposed to make you feel

good or bad, that's the whole point.

. It opens up a dialogue that would have otherwise been harder to begin.

It opens your mind. It ignites creativity.

And at times it opens your heart.

Whether or not it offends you – is besides the point.

Let it inspire you.

But in times like these, be wary that what you believe in,

what inspired you to create something that negates the art that you fully pounced on

might be the stomping ground for someone who felt offended by what you had to say.

And before you could just put it out there without the fear

of hordes of people analyzing who you are as person based on how a piece made them feel instead of who you actually are

It's my belief that the original work isn't supposed to be changed to make it easier to consume.

It's not a cookie.

I understand the need or desire to see things that speak to you in a positive light

or even one that you feel is accurate.

But that's not the role of the artist.

Their meaning, their truth, their inspiration is their own.

. It's not yours to change or to censor.

Obviously, this is just my opinion. Times are changing.

And change often pits us against each other even though at the end of the day,

we all want the same thing - freedom, respect, love, safety and basic human rights.

Take care guys! (chuckles) I hope this video encourages civil discussion.

But I really hope that you guys take the time to tell me about the artists (in all mediums) that have personally inspired you. Bye!

THE MEMO Trump set to notch needed win with Gorsuch - Duration: 6:46.

THE MEMO Trump set to notch needed win with Gorsuch

BY NIALL STANAGE

President Trump is on the brink of scoring his first big win, with Supreme Court nominee

Neil Gorsuch looking almost certain to be confirmed by the end of the week.

Senate Republicans likely will need to invoke the nuclear option changing Senate

rules to remove the filibuster option to elevate Gorsuch to the high court after it

became clear on Monday that all but a handful of Democrats would support a filibuster against

the 49-year-old Coloradan.

But debate over Senate procedure may be too arcane to resonate beyond the Beltway.

The end result Gorsuchs eventual confirmation is what matters, experts say.

The imminent win is drawing sighs of relief from GOP insiders given the presidents

struggles so far.

Trumps approval ratings are historically low for such a new president.

The latest Gallup tracking poll, released Monday, showed him being disapproved of by

57 percent of adults.

Only 38 percent approved of his job performance.

Those numbers are partly a consequence of the polarized political landscape and the

ongoing controversy into alleged Russian meddling in last years presidential election.

But they have surely not been helped by the debacle of Trumps failed push to repeal

and replace the Affordable Care Act.

Another of the presidents major initiatives, his temporary travel ban focusing on six predominantly

Muslim countries, sparked street protests and is bogged down in the courts.

Putting a conservative in the Supreme Court seat once held by Justice Antonin Scalia offers

some respite.

The administration needs somewhere where they are able to say, We have accomplished

an outcome that the president wanted, said Grant Reeher, a political science professor

at Syracuse University.

Gorsuchs confirmation is unlikely to represent a transformative breakthrough for Trump, however.

Reeher described it as a normal accomplishment and I think he needs a couple of those

at this point, given everything else.

Republicans, especially those beyond the circle of hardcore Trump loyalists, argue there is

another lesson to be learned.

An administration that has often seemed to take pleasure in thumbing its nose at Washington

convention played largely by the rules in its quest to replace Scalia and it has

worked.

The process began during the campaign, when Trump released a list of 21 possible replacements

for Scalia, based mostly on input from conservative groups such as the Federalist Society and

the Heritage Foundation.

The selection of Gorsuch was announced by Trump in one of the most conventional speeches

of his tenure so far.

Gorsuchs progress on Capitol Hill was managed by veteran D.C. hands including Republican

consultant Ron Bonjean, with former Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) acting to guide him through

his meetings with her Senate colleagues.

The whole process was starkly at odds with the travel ban, which was widely criticized

as too slapdash, as well as the panic to round up votes on the effort to repeal ObamaCare.

It offers a real playbook for them going forward.

They took a deliberative, substantive, thoughtful process, said GOP strategist and Hill contributor

Matt Mackowiak.

To me, thats another thing here not just that it looks normal, but that it also

offers a case study for the White House to try to replicate in other situations.

Still, even Mackowiak acknowledged that Trump was likely to get only a small polling bump

at best in the wake of Gorsuchs likely confirmation.

There is no certainty that the administrations probable Supreme Court success will overshadow

the other problems that are crowding in upon the White House.

The story of Russian election interference, and the possibility of links between Moscow

and people in Trumps orbit, is Exhibit A when it comes to the depth of those challenges.

New details related to that story can erupt at any moment, as was proved once again on

Monday afternoon when The Washington Post reported that an attempt had been made in

January to establish an apparent back channel between Trump and Russia.

According to the Post, a meeting had been facilitated by the United Arab Emirates between

Erik Prince the controversial founder of Blackwater and the brother of Trumps

Education secretary, Betsy DeVos and a Russian close to Vladimir Putin, the nations

president.

Speaking to The Hill shortly before that story emerged, Democratic strategist Tad Devine

said the positive effects of a Supreme Court success for the president could be limited

because of his other travails.

There is so much flak flying around with Trump right now, Devine said.

Until the flak goes away I dont think anything in the short term is going

to remedy his situation.

He started off with not-great standing and he has made it worse.

Devine, who worked as a senior adviser to the 2016 presidential campaign of Sen. Bernie

Sanders (I-Vt.), added that, for Democrats, the political incentives were heavily in favor

of trying to block Gorsuch rather than cooperating with Trump.

I think the Democrats really had to filibuster this, he said.

If they hadnt, it would have been a tremendous loss for them, especially with

their base.

The base would have been inconsolable, frankly.

Republican hopes that they could persuade eight members of the minority to vote to end

debate on Gorsuchs nomination, and so thwart a filibuster, were dashed in the end.

Only four Democrats publicly expressed a willingness to play ball Sens. Joe Manchin (W.Va.),

Heidi Heitkamp (N.D.), Joe Donnelly (Ind.) and Michael Bennet

🌿Cannabis Concentrates & Extracts 📺Ep06 ⚛️SciBong.com - Duration: 8:51.

-[Matt] Welcome back to the

Institute of Higher Learning

Amazing news coming out of

Canada this week

the date to legalize recreational use

of cannabis nation wide will be

July 1st - Canada Day - 2018

it'll be up to each of the provinces

to set their own regulations

I personally like this approach

in the long term you don't want

a mandatory blanket of rules for

the whole country

you want each area to have the ability

to tweak and adapt over time

with each province theoretically

being responsible for how they

regulate and distribute

various cannabis products

the newest, most potent

and some of the most popular of those

products are concentrates

Ten years ago, a search online for

concentrates would have pulled up links

to results like orange juice or

study habits whereas today the phrase

is synonymous with cannabis culture

To begin, think about what happens

when you burn any plant…

take a piece of lettuce for instance

this example works great because

I hate salad…

if you burn a piece of lettuce

you'd be left with a smokey

smelly pile of ashes

these are all the things you avoid

when you use a concentrate as opposed

to traditional dry herb

you avoid burning plant material

which also means you avoid

the by-products: smoke, ash and odor

that go along with that

So the theory behind concentrates is

take the good stuff out

and leave the waste behind

in that way concentrates are an

evolution in the search for a

cleaner consumption method

for thousands of years its

been most convenient to ignite

the whole plant and let

biology sort the rest out

these days scientists are racing

to find the best way to get

the active ingredients: the cannabinoids

off the plant and into the waiting hands

of consumers and medical patients alike

now there are a ton of ways to extract

the cannabinoids

we can split these into

two separate groups: Physical Extraction

and Chemical Extraction

Physical Extraction uses factors in the

physical world like

gravity, temperature or pressure

to complete the extraction process

this doesn't include any

additional chemicals

just physical forces

to isolate the pollen from

the flowers of the plant

-Some guy from central called

said my packets on -

-[Matt] Physical extraction methods

produce dry concentrates

such as kief or hash

Chemical extraction uses a

foreign substance to complete

the extraction process

this substance is

known as a solvent

and it's used to bind to

and carry the cannabinoids away

from the plant material

-[Matt] this solvent is later reclaimed

leaving a pure and unbelievably

potent liquid containing the active

ingredients of the original

harvested strain

this is how concentrates such as

Oil, Wax and Shatter are manufactured

One of the main concerns of

any extraction process is safety

fortunately changes in legislation

such as what we're going through

right now in Canada

also means the formation of safety codes

and standards for the cannabis industry

this means less exploding labs

less residual solvents

cleaner concentrates

safer consumption

if you are looking for a guide to a safe

extraction method

that you can do in your own home

Check out ENDOCA - their lab does

a great demo showing safe

clean extraction

I'll leave a link below in the comments

also let's not forget that with

higher concentrations

come higher risks for misuse

for more info on that

we did an entire episode on

cannabis safety called

Avoid the Emergency Room

that's episode 3 in case you missed it

Now let's talk about a few trends

we're seeing emerge in markets where

concentrates are popular

The first is e-juice

this product is actually adapted from

similar trends we've seen over in the

nicotine market

the idea is to dilute your concentrate

into a hygroscopic liquid such as

Propylene Glycol, add flavor

and you have a clean, discreet

and portable way to enjoy

cannabis on the go

also because the terpenes are masked by

the flavor from the vape clouds

it's a great way to fit cannabis into

social gatherings and activities

if you're looking for e-juice in Canada

I can recommend 420VapeJuice.ca

I've seen nothing but quality from

them and they have a ton of flavors

to choose from

The last thing we'll talk about today is

school of thought when it comes to

extraction process

Theres two trends we see emerging

Whole Flower Extraction

and Distillate Extraction...

In the whole flower camp

your final product matches

the cannabinoid profile

of the original strain

this methodology is rooted in the

Entourage Effect...

-[Matt] Now the Entourage Effect

is the idea that the active

ingredients work best

and have the fewest side effects

when used together

Great example:

Turtle, great in a group

but doesn't do well when separated

from the rest of his friends

-How much time?!

-Three seconds!

-She's got the arm bar!

-That's not good...

-[Matt] Sorry we're getting

sidetracked now

the important thing with whole

flower extraction is you maintain

the same ratio

that same botanical fingerprint

as when the plant was harvested

The opposing school of thought is

Distillate Extraction

In this camp, you're trying to

separate, or distill particular

cannabinoids away from everything else

So what you end up with is

pure THC or Pure CBD

What we're seeing as research progresses

is certain compounds are more inherently

susceptible to being distilled away from

the plant, CBD being a great example

of a compound with treatment potential

apart from the rest of the plant

THC on the other hand seems to operate

better with friends

remember things can get out of hand quickly

especially if you have no experience

being in the ring with concentrates

-I just wanted to take you to dinner!

We will have to see what emerges as the

dominant trend, but they both have

their draws in terms of application

down the road...

A pure THC distillate

with it's high psychoactive potential

will be in high demand in a

recreational market

CBD and other non-psychoactive distillates

Have attraction for people looking to

avoid any mind altering effects

and whole flower concentrates boast

that unmistakable flavor and essence

of the original plant, which is a

huge selling point

Speaking of flavor and essence

concentrate companies are now introducing

additional terpenes back into the mix

after the extraction is complete

think of it as icing on the cake

a signatory seal used to distinguish

high end brands in what is sure to

be a popular and saturated market

That's it for this episode

we'll get to dabbing vs vaping

in a future episode

that's super important we'll

cover that next

thanks everyone for watching

and Biology behind cannabis use

you'll see a little bit of mess but we're going to sharp it later

meanwhile, we're going to intensify this color with the another one

now, I'm going to use the same transition color

and we're going to blend these 2 colors together

then, with a little bit of concealer and a synthetic C brush

we're are going to give little by little the form of a cut-crease

cleaning the edges

and make it sharp

Now, I'm going to grab this palette by Pacifica

and I'm going to pick this navy blue

and with that color, I'm going to draw a line on the cut-crease

and I'm going to add more color little by little and creating depth on to the eyes

when we're are adding more color, don't forget to blend it with the other colors

on the balm's palette, I'm going to use the Matt Lombardi Color

as my matte highlighter on the eyelid

on this look, I'm going to focus more with the color blue

so, I'm going to use this eyeliner from Skone Cosmetics

That it's called blue

I think that is the name...

yes

oh sorry, It's called Navy

and I'm going to do a wing line with the same length as the cut-crease

I'm going to use the same blue color

and I'm going to put it on the lower lash line

and we're going to blend it and creating a smoky effect

ok, with the Covergirl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner in the color blue, I'm going to use it on my waterline

for this type of events, I recommend to use a waterproof eyeliner

same as the mascara. Right know, I'll be using the Pacifica Natural waterproof Mascara

on my upper and lower lashes

This step is optional. You can use any falsies that you want. Right know, I'm using from Flutterlashes

that it's called Provocative

and then, I'm going to use this contour kit by Pur Cosmetics

and I'll pick this light pink blush right here

for highlighter, I'm going to use the Bhcosmetics Blacklight Highlight 6 color palette

and I'm going to pick the color Strobe

it's a white highlight with silver pigments

and I'm going to put it only on the high points of my face where I want to illuminate

Now, for liquid lipstick, I'm going to use the AOA Studio Liquid Lipstick in Nude

this is one of many that I purchased

and I'm going to do a video review about them

because they're incredible and super affordable!

so, don't miss that :D

Next, I'm going to use some decoration and I'm going to glue them with the House of Lashes glue

and the same thing, this is optional you can do any decoration that you want. It's up to you :)
