*Russian soccer fans singing soccer song*

Dude! Imagine front flip drop in right here!

*Hey Alex What is up?*

Hey everybody!

We are on the way to check the new spot in my city Krasnodar

There are brand new soccer stadium surrounded by awesome street spots!

And I just heard that one of those spots is really massive gap

probably it is possible to make some moves like flair or frontflip drop in right there!

So lets go there and find out what can we film!

Tomorrow is gonna be soccer game "Moscow-Krasnodar"

and tomorrow one journalist from Russian Extreme TV channel is arriving to film a video about me

we already filmed a lot of footage about big shows and we also did an interview

And in case of this big TV video we are going to visit soccer game

I've never been on a soccer games before actually!

And here is this brand new stadium!

*What kind of trees are these?*

Trees...hm..I have no idea what is the name of these trees

But they looks so sick!

And I can't wait to see them on late spring when they will bloom

Future BMX riders!

This mini bicycle for kids is a first thing to become a BMX rider!

*Russian soccer fans singing soccer song*

So, tomorrow is a soccer game day!

Hell yeah!

And finally we are here!

This spot is so sick as you can see

Huge dirt bank and big ledge

And this rails looks sick af!

@theyakim have to check this spot and kill this rail!

Aaaaand how will this happen???

I just want to jump upside-down right there!

I already done same move before in Moscow one year ago

But you just look on a second spot on the other side

Now imagine you get some speed and...and you just send a huge frontie right there!

Or even a frontflip no-hander...

*yeah this place is dope*

So after bank is car parking

And we only have to figure out right time to come here and film

right time is when here will not be any security, less cars, less people

It seems like another interesting quest as interesting as we were have with @irekrizaev in Baku on a biggest street quarterpipe

Tell me what do you feel?

I am speechless!

It was sooo scary! And it was such a struggle for the trick!

How did I even tried it...

I still can't believe that I did this world first trick and more surprising fact is that I did it 3 times in a row

because first two shots I wasn't happy with how I did a no-hander, but i am so happy right now because I made it looks dialed!

Huge shout out to security guys for their understanding, first guy just filmed us on his cellphone

Then main security guard showed up and just said: "You guys are so sick! Take your time and go get this trick!"

While we were filming here was a retarded bum, who wasn't really supporting me hah

He is just asked me: "Is this dude who just jumped of the ledge still not dead?!"

I told him it was me :D

Fuck you Alex!

And then he left

Morning starts not from coffee today, but from police who catched @osipp (camera guy)

Again! Morning starts not from coffee today, but from police who catched @osipp (camera guy)

*FFS Are you serious?*

And one more time! Morning starts not from coffee today, but from police who catched @osipp (camera guy) and here is the story:

We gave 10k "respects" to the cops

After all cops asked what are we filming for and how can they find us?

Then we said Youtube channel Alex Nikulin and they even ask me to give them sign hah

So to those police guys! If you are watching this video, enjoy it!

F*ck off haha

Few words about why did we gave them 10:

Because @osipp were driving small motorcycle without any drivers license

And cops were not agree with this kind of situation

Am I talking shit? yeah hahah!

text a #10 in a comments if you agree that budget of this video is 10k haha!

Thanks for watching!

The Stakes Couldn't Be Higher Trump, Xi Navigate Minefield At First Summit - Duration: 10:28.

The Stakes Couldn't Be Higher Trump, Xi Navigate Minefield At First Summit

by Tyler Durden

Todays China-U.S. summit meeting is an event that could also have enormous implications

- in both directions.

As Bloomberg's Richard Breslow notes, one can't help but be intrigued by the fact that

while everyone is looking at the S&P 500, this morning the Shanghai composite traded

at its highest level of the year.

Notably, the Dollar relationship to China's currency relative to the rest of the world's

relationship to the Yuan is following a very similar pattern to last year's 'Shanghai Accord'

- stronger Yuan vs USD as China weakens its basket against all majors.

Fooling Trump et al. that China is 'not' devaluing?

There doesn't appear to be any scheduled press conferences just yet but, as Deutsche Bank's

Jim Reid notes, its worth keeping an eye on the headlines as the next two days progress.

Clearly North Korea will be a subject near to the top of the agenda.

Importantly though the meeting is the start of a new China-US bilateral relationship so

the rhetoric which follows from the leaders will be closely scrutinised and debated one

would imagine.

The stage is set for a carefully choreographed dinners with family and displays of bonhomie,

but beneath the facade runs a wary, almost palpable, anxiety -- as the men face a make

or break moment.

As AFP reports, Xi is arriving at the resort with a gift-basket of "tweetable deliverables",

sources say, peace offerings on Trump's signature issues -- trade and jobs -- that he hopes

will smooth over a relationship that began on shaky ground following disagreements over

Taiwan.

In return, he hopes to get assurances from Trump on American sales of arms to the island,

as well as trade.

But what Trump wants is less clear.

Although his comments during a Fox New interview this morning offer some visibility:

*TRUMP: WE HAVEN'T BEEN TREATED FAIRLY ON TRADE WITH CHINA

*TRUMP SAYS WILL DO REALLY WELL IN MEETINGS WITH CHINA'S XI

So, what's at stake as President Trump sits down with Chinas Xi?

Greg Wright (via The Conversation) explains...

The U.S. and China together account for one-third of global economic output, so there is a lot

at stake as President Donald Trump meets with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, not least

the fate of the world economy over the next few years.

And it is precisely the magnitude of the stakes involved that has led some observers to assume

that both countries will play it safe and focus on the areas of the relationship that

are win-win relative to the areas that are more likely to produce conflict.

But there is no guarantee that this will happen.

In fact, Trump may have already dealt himself a poor hand thanks to his past rhetoric on

trade, which has heightened the political risk that he faces in negotiating with Xi.

Perhaps more worryingly, Trumps focus on achieving short-term victories could also

tip the balance against the U.S.

At the end of the day the two countries not only drive the world economy but also rely

critically on one another, a fact that should moderate the decisions of these two strong-willed

leaders.

In fact, my research (with fellow economists Giovanni Peri and Gianmarco Ottaviano) has

highlighted the economic risks of miscalculating on trade deals, particularly those with developing

countries.

National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn, right, argues trade is important to economic

growth.

A tricky trade balance

Trump has a difficult political balancing act to maintain.

On the one hand, 85 percent of Republicans believe that trade has cost more U.S. jobs

than it has created.

This group will presumably expect results in raising barriers to U.S. imports, particularly

those from China.

In fact, there is perhaps no other issue more salient to Trumps base than the perceived

harm done to U.S. workers due to international trade, and Trump has been unequivocal in his

promises to scale back trade agreements, from NAFTA to the now-rejected Trans-Pacific Partnership.

On the other hand, Trumps more moderate advisers, such as Gary Cohn, head of the National

Economic Council, have likely cautioned him that trade is ultimately good for economic

growth.

And any disruption would be bad both for the U.S. and for Trumps political future.

Having repeatedly (and unrealistically) promised at least 4 percent to 5 percent annual economic

growth, Trump must be careful not to inadvertently push the economy into a ditch by abandoning

the free trade principles that have made the U.S. one of the richest countries in the world.

Who will win?

Another potential pitfall for Trump is that the search for a perceived victory in

the negotiations something the president typically prizes above all else is actually

more likely to favor Xi.

This is because Xis grip on power is such that he does not need headline-grabbing wins

to the extent that Trump does.

Instead, he can try to extract more substantive concessions behind the scenes.

This suggests that a possible outcome is that the status quo will be effectively maintained.

For instance, Xi may be able to walk away with a win by simply avoiding a trade war

while also obtaining an implicit promise that the U.S. will look the other way on human

rights issues and Chinese regional expansion.

This isnt to say that Trump does not have leverage his campaign promise to raise

import tariffs on China to 45 percent would be a serious blow to the Chinese economy.

And of course the U.S. can always flex its political and military strength in opposition

to Chinese interests.

But perhaps most unnerving for the Chinese is Trumps unpredictability which, despite

its downsides, keeps his counterparts off balance.

The concern is that Trump may use his leverage in order to obtain tweetable victories

that do not amount to much.

For instance, a likely outcome is that Trump obtains promises of future investments in

the U.S. of several billions of dollars.

In fact, Chinese and U.S. commentators have suggested that these investments may come

as part of a larger U.S. infrastructure program.

However, as with other investments that Trump has taken credit for, most of these would

be made in any case (China invested $45 billion in the U.S. last year) and so come at little

cost to the Chinese.

National Trade Council adviser Peter Navarro, right, views trade deficits as a key economic

metric.

A misguided focus on trade deficits

But as with the imposition of trade barriers, Chinese investments do not come without political

risk.

In this case, it is the Trump administrations obsession with the trade deficit in goods

as the key metric by which it views success or failure on trade that will make life harder.

The trade deficit with China US$347 billion in 2016 is simply the difference between

U.S. exports to China and U.S. imports from China, and this value fluctuates for a variety

of reasons.

When the U.S. runs a trade deficit it means that, on net, the U.S. is sending dollars

to China in exchange for Chinese goods.

As a simple fact of accounting, those dollars must then end up back in the U.S. as investments

in U.S. assets.

So investments in U.S. assets are the flip side of a trade deficit.

As a result, inviting greater Chinese investment in U.S. assets will necessarily increase the

trade deficit with China.

While most economists believe that the trade deficit is a poor measure of the success of

a country in the world economy, National Trade Council Director Peter Navarro has repeatedly

pressed the case for trade deficits as a proxy for the overall health of the U.S. economy,

as has Trump.

And so, however inadvisable it may be to focus on the trade deficit, Trump is sure to pay

a political price if it were to grow over the course of his tenure.

Forging a bond before the clashes ahead

In the end, the most consequential outcome of Xis visit may be the extent to which

a bond is forged between the two leaders.

This is because Trump tends to personalize policy choices, and many of the most important

issues on which the U.S. and China will need to find common ground will arise over the

next few months.

For instance, although Trump has not yet formally labeled China as a currency manipulator (which

he promised to do on day one), later in the spring the Treasury Department will

publish its analysis of international currencies and may choose to place that label on China.

While the Chinese would likely simply ignore such a designation, it would require the U.S.

to take some form of punitive action if negotiations with China did not resolve the dispute.

But, of course, this may be small beer compared with the more pressing geopolitical issues

that will be in play.

These include dealing with North Korea, whether or not to confront internal repression within

China and the threat of Chinese regional expansion.

It would not be surprising to find that American cooperation on these fronts comes with a price

tag denominated in U.S. jobs.

Finally, it is worth noting that reducing the level of trade with China will do little

to help U.S. workers.

This is something that nearly all economists agree on, but that politicians rarely embrace.

This is because while the economy can be easily cured of a proliferation of trade agreements

by simply withdrawing from, or rewriting, those accords, there is no easy cure for the

proliferation of new technologies, which are the real culprits in the decline of U.S. industrial

production.

And so, since trade is a policy lever that can be easily pulled, politicians inevitably

rush to do so.

Devil's Hole Adventure! | JONATHAN BIRD'S BLUE WORLD - Duration: 32:49.

Coming up on Jonathan Bird's Blue World, an epic film project adventure involving a

remote cave, rappelling, cave diving and an IMAX camera!

I'm diving into one of the most remote, most protected caves in the world.

In a most unlikely place: deep beneath the Nevada desert.

It all started in 2016, when the Blue World team started work on a giant screen film called

Ancient Caves.

It's about a group of cave paleoclimatologists using the formations in caves to study the

ancient climate.

One of the most important shoots of the film involves the research being done at a remote

site near Death Valley, called Devil's Hole Cave.

If you google Devil's Hole, you will probably find this, a highly protected small pool in

a crack in the rocks which harbors the Devil's Hole pupfish, one of the most endangered animals

in the world.

Devil's Hole is part of the Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge and administered

by the National Park Service.

Devil's Hole Cave, not to be confused with Devil's Hole, is about 600 feet away, up

a path into the hills.

Watch out for scorpions!

The entrance is protected by a locked cage.

The science team, Dr. Yuri Dublyanski, Katee Wendt, and Dr. Gina Moseley, (who is one of

the lead characters in our film) have a special permit from the Park service to take core

samples in the cave for their research.

But getting in there is not as easy as it looks.

All right!

Be productive!

I should probably put my light on, huh?

I first went caving when I was 13 and so that led into my interest in cave science, because

I was caving before that.

I was in the air cadets.

I was doing a lot of outdoor activities when I was younger.

And then I studied geography because of my interest in the outdoors and the fascination

with "how does this form" and "how does that form?"

And then one thing just led to another and now it's great to have a job that involves

office work, lab work and being out in the field.

For me that's fantastic.

While the science team just goes up and down a single rope, getting our film gear in there

adds an additional challenge.

We're setting up some pulleys and hardware.

But there's another twist.

At the bottom of this cave is water, and our team has a special permit to explore and take

water samples for the scientists.

Getting the dive gear in and all the way down to the water is a huge undertaking.

Our first day of production begins at our rented house in Pahrump Nevada, about 45 minutes

from Devil's Hole.

Assistant Director Julia Cichowski is planning for the day while Rick King, Zach Peterson

and I are out in the garage getting the gear set up.

Cameraman Tim Geers is building some sun shades so we can see our monitors in the bright desert

lighting conditions.

And the next morning, we awake to gray skies and rain.

In the desert.

So under cloudy IMAX-unfriendly skies we head out to Devil's Hole Cave with our portable

production office.

With crew and cast over 20 people and no bathroom within miles, the main purpose of the camper

is actually just to provide "facilities" in this remote spot.

But it also gives us a place out of the wind to work on gear.

Gina, Katee and National Geographic photographer Robbie Shone lead the charge up to the cave.

Robbie is our cave lighting expert.

With such nasty weather, we can't shoot exteriors, so we need to move our production

inside the cave for the day.

What I was thinking for the first shot to get would be our star rappelling into the

hole.

Robbie goes in first so we can start sending gear down to him.

Meanwhile, I have to figure out how to get a $60,000 RED Weapon 8K camera system down

a 60 foot vertical shaft.

So let's not destroy the RED!

Once Tim, Robbie and I are down there with the camera and tripod, it's time to start

setting up the first shot.

Our goal is to make the audience in the theater look up and follow Gina down into the cave

just as they would in real life.

But first, we need some lighting.

Direct light in caves looks terrible because you can't see the patterns in the rock.

The trick is hiding the lights at oblique angles to produce dramatic shadows.

What did you bring it down one power setting?

I like that.

Tim can I see the other one?

That's pretty good actually!

Rick tell me when she's ready but don't send her until I give you the go!

And we are rolling and this is Gina descends take one!

All right send her down!

I do have some experience with cave photographers and they take a lot of time to get things

set up so I'm quite used to doing this again, doing that again, move the right foot here,

the left arm there, and sort of thing.

I'm quite happy to do that when I know the final product is going to be something that's

really good, so I didn't mind.

It was fun and I was happy to do it for the end goal.

My only complaint was that it might have taken a little long.

I thought it was a really good shot.

Alright Gina is all set, pull her back up nice and slow.

We tested this in a warehouse and it totally works!

We lifted him!

That's how I'm getting back up!

While Gina is perfectly capable of climbing out of the cave on a rope on her own, we expect

to do this scene a few times, and it would wear her out to keep climbing up.

So we rigged a block & tackle system to pull her up.

I was a bit nervous I must admit about getting on the winch because it's a system I'm not used to.

I kind of like to trust myself if you like, so putting my trust in other people was a

little bit scary at first when they first winched me up out of the cave, but it was

fine and exciting.

Oh this is awesome!

Action!

In the next take, Gina comes down much faster and smoother and the shot is perfect.

That's a great action shot.

There you come right into the cave.

Woo hoo.

Nice, you are coming right down, you come into the light, perfect landing.

For the next sequence, we need to get down to the lower chamber.

Getting down there means squeezing through a small restriction—a tiny hole between

the rocks.

Fitting through isn't that bad, but passing all the camera gear down there is a delicate

operation.

Behind the scenes cameraman Pierre Seguin moves into position for some shots.

Suck it in Pierre!

Ohh!

I want to see Tim…it's going to be insane.

After the squeeze, we descend down a steep slope to the water.

Just a tiny pool with very little room to work.

Our first task is shooting a scene of the scientists drilling a core sample from the

rock.

Do you like?

I like.

It's not bad.

How about this?

Yeah.

Darker top of the frame.

I want the light on them, not up there.

Alright, so how's this?

We are using our powerful diving lights made by BigBlue as battery-powered cinema lights.

But we can only run them for a few minutes before they have to be cooled in water.

You know something?

Maybe a little more contrast back there.

I'd like to see some light down in the water over there.

Right.

Uh huh…it adds a little more bang.

What do you think?

Oh yeah, me likey!

Audio on and this is take two, pulling the core out.

Clap.

At the end of a long day down in the cave, it's time to make our way out.

Gina climbs up the slope using an ascender device on the rope.

We have to carry all our gear up and out through the squeeze.

Then Gina demonstrates the prussic technique using a pair of ascenders to climb out of

the upper chamber.

The science team knows how to prussic, but the rest of us get pulled out with the block

and tackle.

Then we load everything back to the vehicles.

This is the last time I'm doing this!

The next morning, we realize just how hopelessly disorganized we were in the cave and the discussion

turns to how we can improve.

So this morning we have some time.

After you guys have breakfast, maybe begin with taking a look at that gear.

And figuring out which gear goes in which bag.

If we need to label them, then we'll label them.

But then we all need to go out there and learn what's in each bag, so when you come out

of the hole and take off your helmet, you know where to put it.

You take off your harness, you know where to put it.

And that will save us all time when we get there.

Alright, we need more bags, that's the bottom line.

Well if we do, we'll buy them.

Yeah we do.

That's easy, we'll just run out to Wal-mart…

Yeah, let's run to Wal-mart and buy a camera bag, climbing bag, audio bag and a lighting

bag.

And that way everything that goes down in there in the hole, gets packed to go down

in the hole.

Don't go away!

Coming up next: the IMAX camera arrives!

The skies are improving, and today we are scheduled to shoot on 70mm film.

The team from MacGillivray Freeman (our production partner) pulls up in their big production

truck and we cross our fingers that the clouds will clear for nice blue skies.

Rob Walker is getting a dolly setup put together.

Getting ready to do a dolly shot!

It requires carrying a bunch of gear up the hill.

Up by the cave, the MacGillivray Freeman team is assembling a nice level track for a dolly

shot.

They use variously sized blocks of wood to get the track perfectly level.

While the track is underway, Robbie and Yuri are getting some safety slings together to

help get the camera into a precarious position for a unique shot.

We're setting up a shot underneath the pergola, looking into the second entrance to the cave.

With safety straps on the camera, the tripod and the people, Rob and I move the enormous

IMAX camera to the tripod.

Rob is one of the most experienced people in the giant screen industry, and I'm incredibly

lucky to get to work with him and learn about the IMAX camera.

Meanwhile, cinematographer Brad Ohlund, a 30 year IMAX industry veteran is talking to

Gina about the shot.

With everyone ready, Brad comes down under the pergola and it's time to shoot.

Okeedokee artichokee!

With the generator running in the background to run the lighting and the incredible noise

of the camera, it's no surprise that we can't record clean sound.

Action action action!

Stop!

Look down!

Okay, I'm good!

Okay zip on down there now.

Look up!

It's worth mentioning that between the film, processing and printing, it costs about $1000

per minute to run this camera.

Long takes are expensive!

She was dangling at the bottom of the frame!

Second AC Jamey Warner runs to the truck for another film magazine.

Each 1,000 foot magazine only lasts for 3 minutes.

So in preparation for the next shot, Rob and Jamey change the film.

This process takes about 5 minutes.

Quite a bit more complicated than swapping a memory card on our RED camera!

Art Cohen, the co-writer and script supervisor is looking on in amusement as we prepare to

rehearse the shot.

At $1,000 a minute, you rehearse!

Yup, by the time you get up here, you're out of frame.

We pick that up in the next shot.

So you're kinda coming out of…Brad where do they go out of frame?

Right about here?

So yeah, once you are up on this thing, we're done.

Next shot.

Alright?

Just walk right…

With our moves down and the sun finally out, it's time to shoot some film!

Slate!

I don't think it was loud enough!

Lunch is served on the mountain with a make-your-own-sandwich buffet, and then it's back to work.

In the next scene, Gina rappels into the cave.

I really enjoy working with Brad, Rob and Jamey all day to shoot in 70mm IMAX format,

the world's most ultimate film format!

Action!

Stay tuned!

Next, the dive team finally gets to go diving in Devil's Hole Cave!

It's time to start prepping for the most challenging part of the project—the underwater

shooting.

I am worried about getting our Nauticam underwater housing into the cave without smashing the

lens or banging it on rocks.

But Yuri has a lot of experience in this cave, and he has a brilliant solution based on using

an inexpensive yoga mat to protect the housing.

The next morning Brian Kakuk is filling tanks for the dive.

One of the more monotonous parts of the project.

Brian is not only the lead diver on this project, but he was my cave diving instructor.

Just trying to keep the neighbors happy.

With him is Mike Young, a rebreather and cave diving expert.

These guys are world renown cave divers.

I am truly honored to be in the company of greatness.

We hit the road, and you will notice that the weather is beautiful on the first day

of underwater shooting.

I'm no dummie….I make Zach carry the camera housing up to the cave!

With so much gear to move to the water, Brian heads down to help Mike get the process started.

I rappel down next.

And then Rick sends the camera down inside a big duffel bag.

Getting the gear to the site is extremely difficult.

Even though we're only like 200 feet from the entrance, it's a very difficult 200

feet from the entrance.

It's all vertical climbing, lowering of equipment.

You have to have a very good and strong support team, willing to work every day both lowering

and hauling both equipment and people.

So you need a good strong team.

Mike is working like a mole running gear back and forth from the upper chamber to the water.

About an hour into this process, I realize that I have no idea what we would be doing

without him!

He's pretty impressive, I'll tell you that!

Alright, all the lights on.

Okay, rolling.

Quiet on the set.

Loading tanks, take 3, action!

But remember we are not just going diving, we are making a film about research here in

Devil's Hole Cave.

That means I need shots of the process.

So I take some time to get a shot of Yuri handing a tank down the squeeze to Gina.

Love it!

Beautiful!

Soon we form a kind of fireman's brigade to pass gear down through the squeeze.

The last little bit to the water isn't that far, but it's a huge pain to move gear down

it.

If you drop anything, it will go into the water and may never be found.

At one point we accidentally dropped a light.

It didn't stop until it hit a shelf at 150 feet deep.

With our stuff all piled on top of itself, we have to take turns putting our gear together

and getting into the water.

Gina comes down to check on us.

She is nervous about Brian's dive.

So we're really excited to get these samples and we're also a little bit scared about

the diver and his safety because obviously we are not going down and I'm always a little

nervous about other people collecting samples for me.

But yes I'm very excited and I'm sure Brian is excited too.

Brian is going to 300 feet to take water samples for Gina's research.

So we are not just making a film about Gina's research but actually assisting with the research.

It means that all the divers are multi-tasking.

Todd hops in first.

The good news is that the water here under the desert is 93 degrees.

That means it's actually too warm for wetsuits.

So we are all just wearing lycra skins and nobody gets too cold.

Jonathan let me know when I can move into your position.

Today our plan is to get the lay of the land.

Fewer than a dozen people have ever dived in this cave.

There are some guidelines installed, but we do not know their condition.

We also have no idea what the cave looks like.

Todd and I are going scouting for good locations for shots, while Brian and Mike are going

to figure out where to do the deep dive for water samples and form a plan.

Finally, somewhere past noon, we start our dive.

Todd and I descend from the pool down a 45 degree crack that mirrors the room above.

We have tied off a pair of oxygen decompression cylinders at 20 feet.

We are not planning a decompression dive, but it's never a bad idea to be prepared.

Todd leads the way as we follow the guideline down into the depths.

Everything down here is covered in a fine layer of silt, so we have to be really careful

with our fins.

The ceiling of the cave is like nothing I have ever seen.

The pillowy formation is called mammaliary calcite—formed by calcite precipitation

in super-saturated water.

While being mindful of the fragile nature of the old guidelines, we have a look around.

We find a huge chamber that drops down at that same 45 degree angle.

Famous cave diving pioneer Sheck Exley went down this very route in 1991 when he explored

this cave to 436 feet, making it one of the deepest--if not the deepest—cave in the

United States.

At about 100 feet I find a large piece of rock, which broke off, revealing the thickness

of the calcite that had grown on the underlying bedrock.

But calcite is now forming over the break, like a thin layer of frosting.

In a few thousand years, this whole thing will be white!

We turn around and head back up.

At the top of the deep chamber, we have a look around.

Then Todd leads the way back towards the entrance.

All the rocks that have broken and fallen have become covered in calcite, making them

all white and rounded, like big marshmallows.

This cave has been submerged for a long time.

There are no dry cave formations like stalactites or stalagmites.

Everything has the rounded, pillowy look of formations made by underwater calcite deposits.

In shallow water, we explore some overhangs and shelves.

But none of the passages go anywhere.

Some broken pieces of ceiling show folia formation, made in a section of the cave where the water's

surface touches it.

And a thick broken piece of calcite shows the layers of deposition that Gina and her

team can use to tell us much about the water that created it.

We decide to swim the other direction and explore the other end of the cave.

The guideline leads through a restriction.

I decide to see if I can fit through.

It doesn't help that my right tank doesn't have enough weight and it's floating up.

Still, I make it through just fine.

As soon as we see it, Todd and I both know that we will be filming a scene with this

restriction in the film.

It's perfect.

Just like the other side of the cave, this side just goes down and down.

Since we want to do the filming as shallowly as possible (for safety and bottom time) we

are not exploring anything very deep.

So we head back through the restriction.

After a short safety stop, we head back to the tiny pool at the surface.

More people have been to the moon than have been diving in this cave, making us pretty

darn lucky.

Alright we are rolling on the lights, we are rolling on the video, we are rolling on sound.

This is "going under" take three…action!

Alright Mike are you set?

All set.

Got the bailouts?

Bailouts and safety bottles.

Alright, man let's do it.

Be safe guys.

Over four days, we dive and film underwater scenes in Devil's Hole Cave.

It's a great honor to work in a place that is so special, so rare and so protected that

fewer than 12 people have ever been allowed to dive here.

Our dive team is so small that we have very little behind the scenes footage of the actual

underwater filming.

But trust me when I tell you that you are going to want to go see this in an IMAX theater,

especially considering that Devil's Hole is only one out of six spectacular locations

we're filming, for Ancient Caves, the ultimate cave diving film!

That's a wrap!

Power Supplies 3: UpTone Audio UltraCaps LPS-1 and sBooster BOTW P&P ECO 5-6V - Duration: 7:17.

In Power Supplies 2: 3 PSU's for Raspberry Pi and HiFiBerry DAC+, I compared three power

supplies in a relatively low quality setting.

Now it's time to go upmarket and listen what they do on the Sonore microRendu networked audio adaptor.

The Raspberry Pi offers a very dirty USB signal that - in my honest opinion - is not suited

for music reproduction.

But combined with a HAT board that provides a proper SPDIF signal and a good power supply,

it offers a quality that can be better than the SPDIF signal from a Squeezebox Touch and

thus isn't bad at all.

But the Sonore microRendu is of a different class.

It only offers USB output but - again when used with a very good power supply - that

signal is extremely clean, making it easy for the DAC to perform optimally.

One power supply often named in combination with the microRendu is the UpTone Audio UltraCaps LPS-1.

During the review time there even was a delivery delay. Luckily I got a sample.

The device got its name from a new kind of capacitor, effectively a cross between a storage

capacitor and a battery, called supercapacitor.

It is not suited for high voltages but that's not needed here.

A major advantage is that they can deliver current very fast, a lot faster than normal batteries.

They also charge faster and are able to hold large loads in small packages.

The LPS1 on review here holds 60 Farads of supercaps.

The acronym LPS stands for linear power supply, but it's not like the other linear power

supply in this review in that it needs a DC input voltage rather than a cord to the grid.

You can use a switching power supply rated at 7.5 volts 2.5 amps, 9 volts, 2 amps or

12 volts 1.5 amps.

The LPS-1 converts that to a clean 3.3, 5 or 7 volts DC.

Switching is done with a switch on the back of the unit.

A three color LED on the rear indicates the state of the unit.

What exactly happens in the LPS-1 is not fully clear to me.

The board holds an FPGA and a lot of other chips that normally can't be found in in

a linear power supply.

The sBooster is more like a normal linear power supply, although it contains a lot more

than an average linear power supply.

To begin with it has an internal voltage selector ranging from 100 VAC to 240 VAC, a mains filter,

a large toroidal transformer, a discrete rectifier circuit, a voltage regulator on a cooling

profile, a switch for the output voltage, six 4700 µF capacitors and a power led.

A 'Split current unit' is found at the end of the output cable.

This not only is an additional filter, it also buffers the power to provide the electronics with current instantly.

Of course I used Setup 1, using the recent addition of the MQA able Mytek Brooklyn d/a-converter,

fed from another sBooster power supply and the Chord Hugo running on its internal batteries alternatively.

The DAC's were connected to the Audio Note Soro SE, modified by AudioMagic, driving the

AudioPhysic Scorpio speakers over AudioQuest Castle Rock cable.

The interlinks were a prototype of the Crystal Cable Ultra Diamond and Grimm Audio TPM cable.

As said there were some strong opinions on the web and I was not sure about my observations.

Thus was this review postponed for a week, just to be sure.

This might already give some indication about the outcome of this review:

there are differencesbut they are small, very small. In my setup anyway.

The differences?

I would prefer the dynamic behaviour of the sBooster but the sibilance control of the UltraCaps.

As said, the differences were very small and only when forced I might choose the UltraCaps

over the sBooster since I value sibilance control over dynamic behaviour.

But again, the differences are minute.

They both are very good and clean power supplies that I can wholeheartedly recommend.

Still there are some differences of a practical nature.

The UltraCaps uses a switching mode power supply to get the low DC voltage that feeds the UltraCaps.

This poses the risk that the switching circuit pollutes the power lines and /or radiate into

your audio cables so you better keep it away from audio cables and equipment.

On the other hand, the UltraCaps has three practical voltages to choose from: 3.5, 5

and 7 volts as where the sBooster offers voltages very close together.

To feed the microRendu the 5-6 volts version is used.

Another factor is of physical nature: the UltraCaps comes in the shape of two small

boxes with cables in between as where the sBooster is only one box, but it is very large.

There also is a small price difference in favour of sBooster, although that might differ per country.

But which way you choose, you're fine - at least when using a stereo like my set-up 1,

which costed around 20k in Euros.

Whether there still is a better power supply out there I don't know, but I'll keep looking.

And if I find one, I will try to review it.

How To Strengthen Your Aura And Protect Yourself From Being Emotionally Drained - Duration: 7:03.

How To Strengthen Your Aura And Protect Yourself From Being Emotionally Drained

BY GOSTICA

How To Strengthen Your Aura And Protect Yourself From Being Emotionally DrainedDo you end every

day feeling like youve run a marathon even if youve just spent it talking to people?

Youre not alone!

Your energy is a limited resource and will only get you so far as it depletes throughout

the day.

Use these techniques, and follow the advice about what might cause a drain on your energy,

to ensure that you optimize the energy you do have, and keep a happy, healthy aura.

What Causes Aura Drain?

There are plenty of common mistakes people in modern society make every day, which weakens

their aura.

Here is a list of all the things that might be weakening your aura.

It may also give you an idea of some the things you should be avoiding!

Lack of exercise Poor diet

Use of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco Lack of fresh air

Stress Not getting enough rest

To know more about the condition of your Aura you should take this AURA TEST!

As a start, you should try and get into better habits surrounding all of the above.

If you struggle to find the motivation to follow these healthy habits, think about their

impact not just on your physical body, but on your bodys energies too.

That should help kick-start that motivation!

What Can You Do To Maintain a Healthy Aura?

Technique #1: Prevent Yourself From Being Drained

If you find that talking to certain people leaves you feeling utterly drained and lacking

in energy, it might be that these people are, often unintentionally, stealing your auras

energy!

In many cases, these people are using others energy to supplement their own, rather than

creating it for themselves.

If people ever tell you they feel better after having spoken with you, it is often because

they are using your energy in this way.

You can be, and should be, in complete control where your energy is concerned.

To stop other people from latching onto your auric energy and sapping it away, you need

to close your energy circuit.

Currents of energy flow within and around you in your auric field.

If you leave your circuit open, other people can all too easily feed off of it.

How to do it

When you are talking with someone who often drains your energy, cross your ankles, and

bring your hands together touching the thumbs and fingers to one another.

This will create a closed circuit.

The energy flows within and around you but wont leech into others.

After practicing this for a while, you may find that some people tell you something about

you has changed, or that they dont feel you refresh them in the way you used to.

This is simply because they are no longer feeding off your auras energy.

You will certainly feel a lot more energized at the end of each day if you practice this

technique!1

Technique #2: Energy Breathing Technique

Your breath is essential for revitalizing your energy stores and topping up your auric

energy.

One of the leading causes of weakness in auric energy that we mentioned earlier is a lack

of fresh air.

However, the way in which you breathe is just as important.

Breathing through the nose not only warms the air before it enters the lungs, reducing

the risk of inflammation of the respiratory organs, it also filters the air entering

the body.

Your nostrils capture and remove a lot of the dirt and pollution in the air that surrounds

us, promoting much cleaner breathing.

Your energy has polarity, positive and negative, male and female, sun and moon.

The balance of these is called Sushumna.

This breathing technique energizes the aura and balances the polarity of the body.

How to do it

Begin by placing your dominant hand on your nose with your thumb on one side and fingers

on the other.

Place your tongue against the roof of your mouth, but remain relaxed.

Using your thumb to close the nostril on that side of the face (right hand, right nostril)

inhale for a slow count of four.

Then, close the other nostril using your fingers (so both are now closed) and hold for a count

of 16.

If this is too long a time to start off, work towards increasing whatever you can manage

over time.

Once completed, release the thumb (but keep the fingers closing the other nostril) and

slowly exhale for a count of eight.

Now, you can breathe back in again through this open nostril, alternating as you go,

for around five or six breaths in total.

Technique #3: The Cleansing Vortex

This technique is a powerful visualization procedure and is fantastic for sweeping out

and cleansing any energy detritus that may have accumulated over the course of the day.

It is particularly useful if you spend your days interacting with a lot of people.

They might be filling you up with some negative energies!

How to do it

Find a comfortable, seated position, and if you want to, perform Technique #2 to relax

and ready you.

Next, visualize a small whirlwind of crystalline white fire around 20 feet above your head.

Then visualize the small end of the funnel entering through the crown of your head and

going down through your body.

It should be rotating clockwise, and as it touches your aura, you should see all the

detritus being sucked in and burned away.

As it moves through you, more and more of the negative energies will be swept away,

until it exits through your feet and into the ground.

Give Them a Try

The next time you feel like the day has taken its toll on you, try some of these techniques.

You may find that you were victim to an aura vampire, that you just needed a moment

to breathe, or that you have been filled with energy debris.

Simply by taking some time to correct and refill your auras energy, you may find

a second wind, a new lease of life, and go on

to have a happy, healthy aura.

U.S. missile strike on Syrian base killed 4 soldiers: Report - Duration: 2:37.

Taking much of the spotlight off the U.S.-China summit is sudden military action by the U.S.

in Syria -- America's first direct assault against the Bashar al-Assad regime since the

war in Syria began six years ago.

Ships in the Mediterranean fired 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles into Syria on Thursday following

a chemical attack this week allegedly by the government that killed scores of people, including

at least 27 children.

We go over to our Kim Mok-yeon who is on the line for us.

Mok-yeon, what is the latest?

Yes Devin, following the missile attack, U.S. officials announced that the missiles were

fired from two warships in the Mediterranean Sea, striking multiple sites around a government-controlled

air base in Syria.

In a televised address, President Trump condemned Syria's use of chemical weapons and urged

the international community to join Washington in seeking to end all kinds of terrorism.

"Tonight I ordered a targeted military strike on Syria where the chemical attack was launched.....

Tonight I call on all civilized nations to join us in seeking to end the slaughter and

bloodshed in Syrian and also to end terrorism of all kinds and all types."

We know Russian troops and planes operate in Syria,... so there's a concern over an

accidental entanglement there.

What did the US do to make sure that didn't happen?

Well, the Pentagon has confirmed that the U.S informed Russia and a number of other

countries ahead of the planned attack in Syria,... signaling the U.S.' intention to use military

force if Syria continues to use chemical weapons.

Reports say, despite the warning,... Russians could have still been at the base.

The details on casualties have not been announced yet, but UK-based monitoring group Syrian

Observatory for Human Rights said that at least four Syrian soldiers were killed.

The Assad government can't be happy about this -- thinking they'd have some relief with

Donald Trump in office.

What's been the response from Damascus?

Yes, Homs governor Talal al-Barazi referred to the attack as a form of aggression.

He said that the attack will not dissuade the government from their fight against "terrorism".

Meanwhile, Syrian opposition group the Syrian National Coalition has welcomed the move saying

Washington's direct military involvement could be an opportunity to end the ongoing war.

Back to you, Devin.
