Unknown Woman | 이름없는 여자 – Ep.1 [ENG/2017.05.01] - Duration: 32:17.

Kim Bulsang.

You are hereby sentenced to 10 years in prison

for murdering Jo Ganghui.

(Episode 1)

My goodness. Breathe in.

Breathe out. Breathe in.

Why is the baby not coming out?

She keeps bleeding. She'll die at this rate.

- What do we do? / - Goodness.

My gosh.

The medical director is on vacation today.

Her contractions are so severe that

we can't move her to the hospital.

- How old is she? / - We don't know.

- Is this her first baby? / - We don't know.

She doesn't know her age, family information,

or even her name since she came here.

Her identity is unknown so we just call her Bulsang.

The baby's heartbeat is growing weaker.

Please push harder.

Push. Oh, my gosh.

Doctor, she's passing out.

Ma'am! Ma'am! Wake up!

Keep talking to her.

- Okay. / - Keep her awake.

Ma'am. Ma'am!

A woman may be weak,

but a mom is strong. Be strong.

Who's the father? Aren't you going to call him?

Goodness. Are you really mute?

Goodness.

Father... Please help me.

Help me have this baby safely.

Father.

Goodness.

- Muyeol. Please. / - You can do it.

Help me just this once. Please.

Push. You can do it. Push.

Ma'am. Push!

Congratulations, Mr. Chairman.

You have twins. A boy and a girl.

Here.

Congratulations, my dear daughter.

I picked the design that matches you the best.

Do you like it?

It's pretty. It's totally my style.

Good job.

I just transferred company stock

to the twins.

My dad is so generous.

Is he here yet?

I got a call that he just walked into the building.

- He'll be here soon. / - Mom, my pouch.

Why do you need this?

Seriously?

That's why Muyeol is so arrogant.

- The twins. / - Okay.

- Here. / - Here.

Here. Careful. There you go.

There you go.

- Thank you. / - Muyeol.

Honey. What took you so long?

Aren't our twins so pretty?

They look like both of us.

Congratulations. It's a girl.

Goodness. She risked her life to give birth to her,

but she can't even say her name.

My baby.

My one and only life in this world.

My everything.

Baby, your name is...

Bom.

Your name is Bom.

Bom. My pretty girl.

I'll live only for you now.

If it's for you,

nothing and no one frightens me.

Bom.

I once had

a pretty name like you did.

A lovely name

that my father gave me.

Son Yeori.

Son Yeori!

Son Yeori!

Son Yeori!

Where's my painting? Did you finish it?

There.

Not bad.

At least you're worth sometime.

You mean something not sometime.

I said something! Not sometime!

Being poor doesn't mean you're deaf too.

Here. For the painting.

Forget it.

I've been doing it for your mom, not for you.

What?

She's having a hard time with Haeseong's illness.

If you don't make it to university,

she might be heart broken,

so that's why I've been painting for you.

Don't make me laugh.

You clean because you can't even pay

to use the studio.

You can show off all you want,

but your dad is my dad's driver.

That means you're my servant too.

- Got that? / - Hey.

(Muyeol)

Take the painting and go

before I have a change of heart and take it back.

Hello?

What's this?

Is it Yeori's submission piece?

Your mom left again.

You'll end up starving before going out to tutor.

You made deep-fried shrimp.

You're allergic to seafood.

Why did you make this? That's dangerous.

You like it.

I don't have to eat it.

No one cares for me as much as you do.

I'll let you be a candidate to be my wife.

Your wife?

I'm not interested. Eat and go already.

Why did she leave the painting?

Why that little...

Hey, Haeju. Why did you take my painting?

Bring it back right now.

(Emergency Room)

Ma'am.

How did it go? Are the test results out?

I don't know what to say.

All the relatives who were newly tested...

Still are not a match.

How could no one match?

Haeseong's mom, dad, sister.

This time, his cousins, aunts, uncles, and

even distant relatives were tested.

Maybe the test went wrong.

There were no mistakes.

Please save him.

That poor child.

I can't let that innocent child die.

I'll do anything you say.

I can give you my heart if you ask.

So please.

There is one person who is a match.

Who?

Who is it?

We found a match from the employees who came in

for physicals last time.

But it's a bit...

Driver Son? I mean...

Mr. Son. Where are you?

Goodness.

This is bad.

Madam is on her way.

She'll flip out if she finds out the chairman

is with a model.

Goodness.

No.

It'd still be better to let him know.

Goodness.

Hello, madam.

The chairman is at the hotel sauna.

He can't speak right now.

It's okay.

I came to see you.

Don't worry.

I don't care who's comforting

the chairman right now.

Madam.

The chairman may look for me,

so I can't step away for too long.

May I ask what this is about?

Juho...

Please help me.

Madam, what are you doing? Someone will see.

- Please get up. / - Juho.

I'm asking not as the madam of Wid Group, but as

your friend who grew up with you at Sarang Orphanage.

Please save me.

Please save Haeseong.

Madam, I don't understand what you're saying.

What do you mean, save Haeseong?

How can I...

There's only one person

who can save him.

Yeori. Your daughter, Yeori.

- Sorry? / - Yes.

Yeori's bone marrow matches with Haeseong's.

Hey, Haeju!

I know you're home,

so bring out my painting right now.

Ring the bell for four days if you want.

I won't come out.

I'm going to submit this.

I like this one much better.

That's not for submission. That's a gift.

If you keep this up, I won't take it any longer.

I'll tell your mom.

Tell my mom?

Do you think she'd tell me to return your painting?

My mom knows you're doing my paintings for me.

What?

Do you think we'd even bat an eye?

Maid.

If you let her in, you'll be fired too. Got it?

Okay.

Hey! Haeju! Let me in!

Hey!

Geez...

Do you think I'll give up?

Hey, Haeju!

I won't leave until you bring my painting down.

Got that?

You think I'll give up and go, right?

Haeju! Get down here!

I'll keep yelling until you come down!

I don't care if neighbors complain!

Bring my painting down, Haeju!

Haeju! Get down here!

How could...

Yeori and Haeseong be a match?

How is that possible?

Don't tell me all the employees and our families

had to get physicals last time...

We had no choice.

We couldn't find a match in our family or the donor pool.

We would've searched the entire world if we could

to find a match.

Still. How could you? She's just a child.

No.

If it were me, not Yeori, I'd do it even 10 times.

But not my daughter.

I'm sorry.

- Madam. / - You know...

What Haeseong means to me.

You know that.

He's my life.

He's my world.

Haeju!

I won't leave. I refuse.

Get down here!

Let's see who wins.

I won't take it anymore.

Mom! Look at this painting.

What? What's your problem?

Mo, why did you bring her in here?

Hey, get out. Right now.

I'll leave even if you tell me to stay,

so give me my painting.

You did this on purpose, didn't you?

So that you'd get into university and I don't.

That's why you painted something shabby for me

and made yours nice.

That painting isn't a submission. It's a gift.

So give it back.

If you don't like what I painted for you,

I'll paint another one.

What's this about?

Have you been making her do your paintings for you?

I'm sure you figured it out.

Why are you acting like that?

And it wasn't for free.

She used the money I paid

to buy paint, canvases, and art books.

See? She's holding the money for the painting.

She just wants more money.

Fine. How much more do you want?

Tell me in front of my mom.

Where did you learn such terrible manners?

Is that how mom and dad raised you?

- Mom. / - Apologize and give it back.

Is this it?

Yes. Thank you.

If I can't have it, neither can you.

Haeju!

Let me apologize.

Don't paint for her anymore no matter what.

I'm so sorry.

I've been too inattentive to Mr. Son's only child

when he is the chairman's most trusted person

who he can't function without.

Will you forgive me?

It's okay.

Don't worry about money from now on,

and paint all you want.

I'll pay for your university prep and university tuition.

I'll pay for you to study abroad too if you want.

Excuse me? You will?

Why?

We are all part of the Wid family.

Have a nice day.

Thank you for today.

- Yeori. / - Yes?

Please don't say anything to Yeori.

I'll talk to her.

Please wait.

Nothing.

Excuse me.

Go eat something nice with your dad.

And take care of yourself.

You'll come to get tested?

I'll look into flights and call you back.

There's only one person...

Who can save him.

Yeori. Your daughter, Yeori.

- Mr. Son. / - Yes, Mr. Chairman.

What happened with the child I asked you to find?

The child...

That my wife had before we got married.

I'm looking,

but it isn't easy.

I'm on holiday starting tomorrow, so I'll keep looking.

I'm sure you will,

but be careful that she doesn't catch on.

Yes, sir.

But...

If that child were alive,

wouldn't madam have found that child first?

Seeing how she is toward Haeseong...

Just do as you're told.

Did I ask for your opinion?

I'm sorry, sir.

Geez.

It's impossible to fix.

Haeju, that brat.

What do I do? Father asked for it by this week.

It's your fault.

My mom hit me for the first time ever because of you.

She never even raised her voice at me.

You got hit because you were wrong.

Why are you blaming me?

It's your fault for coveting someone else's things.

Is it?

Then I paid for my sins since I was hit,

so this painting is mine now.

No.

Give it back. It'll rip again.

Let go.

What are you doing?

Are you okay? Let me see.

Are you okay? Gosh.

That brat.

She's that rich brat who

always asks you to paint for her, right?

She's not a total brat.

How can you laugh right now?

You got 15 stitches.

You must be okay.

Aren't you here to apologize?

Then do it properly.

Are you two dating?

- Yes. / - No.

We're not dating.

We're like brother and sister

who live under the same roof.

Don't get the wrong idea.

No. We're dating.

If you hurt my Yeori again,

you'll have to answer to me. Got it?

Let's go.

- You're pretty. / - You are.

- Hi. What's your name? / - Stop it.

- Come here. Let me see. / - No. No.

Where did you get these earrings?

Do you even know who I am?

- No, we don't. / - Who else?

You're my girlfriend.

Let go of her.

If you touch a young girl, you'll burn for eternity.

Hey, little girl.

Put on makeup

when you're all grown up, okay?

Fine.

Forget the painting.

Muyeol. I must have you instead.

Let's see whether or not

I win you over.

Tell that witch to pay. Why aren't you doing anything?

I fell on it myself.

I'm at fault too.

You're so frustrating.

That's why that witch always does that to you.

The person who is beaten can sleep in peace,

but the person who beats the other can't.

That brat Haeju would sleep peacefully

after beating you up.

You should fight back.

Don't tell my father.

Let's say it was an accident.

Why would you hide it?

Haeju's family is our family's savior.

When my mother passed away

and I was dying of pneumonia,

my father fell on the ice while carrying me,

so he can't do hard labor.

But Haeju's family gave him a job.

I don't want to make it awkward for my dad at work.

What a great daughter.

Still, they call him 24 hours a day,

so he never gets a moment of rest.

What savior?

Yeori.

What happened to your hand?

Your boss' daughter did this to her.

She's been making Yeori paint her

college application paintings.

Kim Yeolmae!

Let me see.

How bad is it?

It's fine. It'll heal in no time.

Goodness.

Dad.

Madam said she'd pay for my art university tuition.

She said she'd send me abroad to study if I want too.

She was suddenly so nice to me that I was speechless.

Sorry that your dad...

Is such a loser.

I should've taken better care of you.

Don't say that.

Being born as your daughter was

the luckiest thing for me.

It isn't easy to give birth to such a pretty and kind girl.

Dochi said he'll come to Korea to see if he and Haeseong

are a match.

- Your brother? / - Yes.

How nice of him. But it isn't necessary anymore.

We found a match.

Who?

Mr. Son's daughter.

Her bone marrow is a match with Haeseong's.

Mr. Son's daughter?

I already talked to him.

I'm sure he'll do it since he's soft-hearted.

So...

Tell your brother there's no need for him to come.

Any obstacle that may get in the way of your future

or our kids' futures must be torn out and tossed away.

The smell of Korea.

Oh, my God. The smell of Korea.

Give me a break.

Korea.

I'm finally here.

Gu Dochi is in Korea.

Welcome to Korea.

Give me a break. Seriously.

I can do it.

It's okay. Anywhere a Korean person has been

is always clean.

The one who made the mess should clean it.

(Doyeong)

- Hi, brother. / - Where are you?

Where am I? Well...

Don't come.

What?

Haeseong's situation has been taken care of,

so don't bother coming.

Give me that. I'll do it.

- What happened? / - His blood pressure is dropping.

- His pulse too. / - Prepare for CPR.

Haeseong, are you okay?

What's going on? Haeseong!

- Haeseong! / - Please wait outside.

No. Haeseong.

What were you people doing until now?

Haeseong!

If anything happens to him, all of you will pay.

Haeseong.

You're saying Hong Jiwon

definitely did give birth 18 years ago, correct?

Yes.

She was dating some rich boy and was dumped.

Then she gave birth to the child.

Do you know whether or not the baby survived?

I don't know.

I think I heard that she cried all night because

the baby died.

But who would've known

that a secretary at Wid Group would

become the madam overnight?

That's right.

You should ask Lee Sunok.

She was also a secretary back then.

She'd know more.

They were best friends.

Do you know her contact information?

Excuse me.

(Madam Hong)

Hello?

Where's your answer?

- Well... / - You said to wait.

I'm waiting.

So why aren't you calling?

Do you realize how I feel right now?

What about Yeori? Did you tell her?

Not yet...

I'm sorry.

Do you know how I can get her contact information...

Excuse me. I'll call you again.

Give me Mr. Son's address.

Does Son Yeori live here?

Yes, she does. Who are you?

None of your business.

She's not home.

How would you know?

She's in high school.

Naturally, she should be there at this hour.

What a rude woman.

Were you waiting for me?

Here comes another rude one.

Why aren't you in school? Why are you here?

I said my stomach hurt and left early...

Because I wanted to see you, Muyeol.

How do you know my name?

That's a piece of cake for me.

Kim Muyeol.

Hanguk University, economics major. Top of your class.

This place is a rental.

Your only family is your mom and younger sister.

I missed you.

Did you miss me?

From now on...

You're my first love.

You should be honored that you're my first love.

Go ahead.

Bye.

Hello, madam.

Haeju went home already.

- I came to see you. / - Me?

Come with me.

With you? Where?

You'll see when you get there.

(Father)

- Don't answer that. / - Sorry?

Don't answer any calls.

(Unknown Woman)

You're mine.

We're dating now.

- I'm going to tell Yeori. / - Hey. Hey!

There you go.

Wrap it nicely, please.

My future father-in-law will be wearing these.

Don't touch my baby.

What parent wouldn't go crazy when

her child is dying before her eyes?

Listen to me.

Don't meet with anyone from Wid Group anymore.

Not Haeju, Madam Hong, or the chairman. Anyone.

How To Choose your Aikido Hakama - Training vs Tradition Hakama | W/Subtitles - Duration: 7:37.

Hi guys and welcome back!

It's Julie again for a new topic today, Aikido Hakama!

Seido offers seven models

differing in fabric or finish so there's

for sure one that suits your taste and practice.

Today I'll talk about our two

most popular models,

the Tetron Tradition and the Tetron Keiko

or "training" in English.

Both are made from the same kind of Tetron fabric

but one features a very traditional and one a

more practical finish for daily practice.

As in this video I explain in detail the

different finishes, if you are

considering buying a Hakama, no matter

what kind of model, you should definitely

watch till the end!

First let's talk about the fabric of these two models

Tetron describes a high-tech Japan-made

polyester-rayon blend.

Lighter than the thick cotton used for other models but

still heavier than some light materials

found on the market.

In short you could call it "standard weight".

Tetron is by far the most common fabric for Budo Hakama,

covering more than 80% of the production.

The Tetron fabric is the

best at holding the pleats, even after

years of Suwariwaza.

It's easy-care and the color doesn't fade.

What's its downside ?

The color of the fabric is dull,

there's no special aspect to it and it

looks a bit flat, so some practitioners

might prefer a different fabric for demonstrations,

but Tetron is definitely

the fabric to go to for regular training.

The first model is called

"Tetron Aikido Hakama - Tradition".

It's manufactured by

the last traditional Hakama workshop in

Japan that still makes a partially

hand-sewn finish.

It features an Aikido

cut with a straight bottom line and a

front part that is cut high enough so

you can tuck it in the belt.

Depending on the size, the back straps are up to 200cm,

the front straps up to 420cm long -

a bit longer than what is common on the market.

These straps feature a width of 3.5cm,

a thin cotton core and 7 lines of

stitchings to give it some extra rigidity.

The pleats are traditionally ironed, and

the lateral vents are reinforced with

extra machine stitchings

The koshiita, the backplate, is made from flexible

rubber and is safe for any kind of Ukemi.

But what is really special about this

model is its finish: the seams framing

the lateral vents at the front, and the

part enclosing the backplate are

partially hand-sewn by the artisans.

This results in a top elaborate Hakama

version, available in black, navy blue and

even white.

However, there's one negative aspect.

The hand stitchings are less

durable compared to machine seams and

you might have to grab a needle and

thread to do some mending after a few

months of practice.

It's not a big deal,

but it has to be done and is part of

taking care of your equipment.

This model can be customized,

even fully custom made,

but we'll keep that for another video.

Now, you might say that "owning a

nice-looking Hakama is great, but I just

need something for my everyday practice"!

Exactly for people like you (and us by the way)

we've created the model

"Tetron Keiko Training" Hakama, that has all

extras to make it more durable and practical.

We were actually so convinced

by the result that we've all adopted it

for regular practice.

It overall looks similar to the other model, but features

some nice extras and modifications that

really make the difference.

The front part with the strap is cut slightly higher

than on the traditional model, lifting

the front part less when tucking it into

the belt, resulting in a better look.

To get a good hold when tying it, we wanted

the straps to be a bit wider and softer,

to be specific 4.2cm,

with a core made from the same Tetron fabric.

We also wanted pleats

that wear out less fast, and the

solution that convinced us was to use an

industrial press instead of an iron.

This results in pleats that are, even

after washing, well preserved.

The traditional Tetron Hakama is reinforced

with extra stitches, but this Tetron

Keiko Training Hakama features lateral

vents reinforced with an extra piece of cloth.

For convenience we've added two

"hanger" loops on the front and back to

make it easier to hang it up after

practice or laundering.

And now the best part,

the super comfortable backplate.

Until we made this model, all Seido

Aikido Hakama were made with a rubber

backplate, and we wanted to see if we

could improve this.

We came up with a

rather stiff but thin piece of synthetic

leather on which we've added a piece of foam material.

It feels like a comfy

bumper on your back when taking Ukemi,

and that's the main reason why we've all

switched to this model at Seido.

Unlike the rubber plate, this type of backplate

can be pierced without damaging it, so

the fabric is sewn off by machine

directly with the koshiita.

Thanks to the reinforced stitchings, you won't have

to do any maintenance on this part.

It's available in black and navy blue, and to

cut a long story short, but I think

you've already got it : that's the model

we recommend for daily practice.

Now let's talk about the Hakama's color.

The tint of the black and navy vary

because we're not using the identical

fabric for both models.

Besides, for the

traditional version, our workshop works

with a traditional dyeing workshop and

the Navy color varies depending on the fabric batch.

So here are different tints

of black and navy that you may see on

our Tetron Tradition model, and here are

some tints you may see on the Keiko Training model.

Did you figure out which Hakama is for you?

Now you're probably considering an embroidery.

The standard position is on the right hip - and that's

what we offer for both models, and you

can of course choose from a wide range

of embroidery colors and fonts.

it is also possible to embroider on the inside

or outside of the Koshiita, but that's a

special customization because the Koshiita

fabric needs to be embroidered

before the Hakama itself is sewn.

There's quite a long production time, and since

we don't offer "custom-made"

for the Tetron Keiko Training

version, it's only available on the

Tetron Tradition model.

For more information on embroideries we recommend

checking out both our embroidery

workshop video, and a detailed article on our blog.

Ok that's it! I hope you have a

clearer idea of which Hakama you need now!

Stay tuned for the next videos in which

we'll talk about traditional Aizome dyed

cotton Hakama, cashmere-like polyester

shiny Hakama and more.

In the meantime, feel free to comment on the video if you

have any question, and if you think our

advice may help your Aikido friends, feel free to share !

See you next time!

HIKAKIN物語レビュー Reviewing The Hikakin Manga - Duration: 6:19.

Hey, kids and welcome to PDRsan's Rubbish Bin

The top Youtuber's Japanese dream

The Hikakin Story

Here it is

*laugh*

*sigh*

i was going to make this video the day this came out

I completely forgot

I only remembered because of Dekakin's tweet

*brown nosing tweet:

Let's do this

I think this is something that Hikakin fans and worshipers

will really enjoy

also

the art is

pretty middle of the road

but I think the artist captured Hikakin's weird faces pretty well

This happens a lot with these true story manga's

but everything is over the top and things that aren't that big of a deal are over dramatized

and it's fucking stupid

Bun bun

I lost at a beat box competition

Bun bun

They didn't accept my Youtuber partner application

Worst of all it's boring

Hikakin's life is boring

Here's a break down of it

Wants to go to the Olympics doing ski jumping

gives up

Moves to Tokyo to become a famous beatboxer

Works at a supermarket while going to beatboxing competitions and making videos

Success

His brother

his parents

and even his boss at the supermarket were all supportive of him

I wonder if that's true

According to this manga, the worst that happened to him was

losing at a beatboxing competition

and not being accepted to be a youtube partner

back in the day I was rejected 5 or 6 times

Man, you've had a hard life (My cat Latte's life is more interesting than his)

Tons of people work while trying to achieve their dream

is it worth making a manga...

50 Cent used to sell drugs

and was shot 9 times

Anthony Kiedis from the RHCP

lived with his drug dealer/actor dad in his early teens

and did cocaine for the first time when he was 14

When Charlize Theron's was 15 her mother shot and killed her abusive father in self defense

and

Hikakin worked at a super market while trying to...

*loses it*

Dude, my life is fucking boring

but it's more interesting than Hikakin's

I've never really told anyone except for Mimei this because it's embarrassing

it was like 10 years ago

When I was around 21

My Mum kicked me out of the house

*that is a story for another day*

I was homeless for like a week

Eventually my friend from high school let me stay at his place for months

He even let me work at his publishing company

he let me stay until I had enough money to get my own place

He saved my life

but there was a week between me getting kicked out and me living with my friend

where I was homeless

I had no money and no place to go

I slept in parks

One time I sneaked into the storage of an apartment building we lived in and slept there

or I would walk around until the morning and then go to uni and sleep there

Anyway back to the manga

There's a part in here where he talks about starting his Hikakintv channel

I decided to make a new channel that wasn't a beatboxing channel

i started communicating with my friends on the internet (pander pander pander)

I order products at the supermarket, so I'm good at reviewing products

I'm gonna review new products that people are interested in but don't want to buy

I bet people will think this is funny

i think you're forgetting to mention a lot of things

like

The fact in the beginning you didn't review new products

you reviewed stuff you liked

in English

because most of your viewers on your beatboxing channel weren't Japanese

also

the reason you started reviewing new products is because my brother told you to

Also

When you're channel wasn't really growing

You did a ton of videos with my brother and Maho-chan (they basically saved your channel)

but the thing that pissed me off the most was this

What is your dream Hikakin?

Well

I want to become a bigger and better entertainer

that way society will look at youtuber's in a different light

and kids will like it's okay to want to be a youtuber when they grow up (kill me now)

this way they will grow up and make people happy just like I do

-5 Latte Nyan Points

Koudansha-san

Shonen Magazine probably got a tiny boost in sales from this

are you happy?

after you stop featuring youtubers it will go back down to it's usual low sales

i guess

if you make enough of these to release a trade

I'm sure you'll make some more petty cash

The last time I bought Shonen Magazine

was 2003

so I guess

this was a good marketing plan

The next manga story will be about Hajime

I can't fucking wait!

Bye

I didn't know Fairy Tale was still going

50 Cent was a drug dealer

and he was shot 9 times

that's not 9...

I'm sorry about that

I got a fright

I was trying to throw it out the door, but it hit the wall instead

I'm glad it didn't hit the glass

I'm really sorry

Oh, fuck yeah! This is the shit!!

Kill me now!

GAN & Ernő Rubik + RSA | Weekly Cubing Topicals - Duration: 4:43.

Hey YouTube it's me Spotty!

Welcome to another Weekly Cubing Topicals!

So I know this is kinda, old news but a question came up from tommyk_cubing which was pretty interesting.

He asked, What are your opinions on Rubik's collaborating with GANcube?

To be completely honest, the reason I hadn't talked about this before was that it wasn't

something I really knew much about.

But after looking into it, it actually seems very very interesting and I'm kinda curious

to see what will make out because of it.

So if you didn't know right around the end of last year, Erno Rubik's the inventor

of the Rubik's Cube posted this on Google Plus.

He says and I quote, "Speedcubing…brings together young people of different genders,

cultures or backgrounds — sometimes in life-changing ways."

But basically he said, he has started to take interest in the speedcubing side of the Rubik's

cube, something that he hadn't really done until very recently.

So he's taken in interest and in another post he makes a statement of what that has

sparked, the lauch of "a new non-profit organisation with the mission of promoting

speedsolving, support competitions, competitors and organizers as well as the introduction

of puzzles in education."

And this organisation he calls the RSA, standing for the Rubik Speedcubing Association.

So that's the deal with the RSA.

It's just an organisation that is attempting to get more awareness about speedcubing on

a global scale.

And this is kinda where GAN comes in.

To help with this awareness campaign, Rubik's wants to improve it's current puzzle that

is available all over retail stores.

Rubik's Brands have never had a great reputation among speedcubers for being a very good cube;

it doesn't perform very well, they're not customisable and really not worth at all

the money that you're paying for.

However, you can't really deny that it is almost always the first cube you get and it

is the cube that gets most people into speedcubing in the first place.

Rubik's has recognised both things and so he's teaming up with GAN, a reputable designer

to improve the traditional branded Rubiks Cube.

After this is announced a post by GAN reads, "We are really honored and excited to be

invited by Prof. Rubik to contribute to this great global initiative of making speedcubing

a true sport all over the world.

We will use our best design efforts to continue generating high-end speedcubes in the future,

under both GAN and the Rubik's brands respectively, to enable more speedsolving enthusiasts to

unleash their true speed."

I personally think this partnership is a huge step forward for speedcubing and I think this

could really be something that benefits growth in the community.

If all turns out well, then this could be really really awesome for us and people who

are thinking of getting into the hobby.

Hey, so I just wanted to quickly update you on something really really quickly.

So I was watching Keaton Ellis' livestream, his most recent one, and he was talking about

how he got this cube.

He won it at a competition and it was the cube that I was talking about in this video;

the one that was produced collaboratively by GAN and Rubik, released under the Rubiks

brand.

And I think that this is really exciting to see that this is already being produced.I

thought that maybe this project was a lot of hype and though but not too much action

or action that we wouldn't see for a while but it seems like they're really going through

with this.

It's very exciting to see developments like this happening so soon.

Keaton was talking about how the cube was very similar to I think a Gans 356 V2 (correct

me if I'm wrong though).

This isn't a cube that most people would probably say is the best cube out right now but it

is still a very good speedcube and a very viable speedcube.

Yeah, I just think this is super exciting that this cube might potentially be going

out across the world.

They'll be so easily accessible and I think that this'll really make it a lot easier for

newer cubers to get into speedcubing.

But yeah, that's the update, back to the video.

As for what I think about the RSA, I think again this could be a really cool idea.

As far as I'm concerned the WCA and RSA are working in harmony with each other.

Ron van Bruchem, I probably butchered the name so sorry about that, but he's one of

the founders of the WCA and he wrote that the "WCA is in good contact with RSA"

so I don't think there is any reason to believe otherwise.

And I do think that both organisations have their place in the community as in they both

have different purposes.

The WCA is more of a organisation that organises and keeps track of competitions and records

as well.

Whereas the RSA looks to be more of an organisation that supports what the WCA already does and

speedcubing in general and in addition will try raising awareness about the hobby.

But yeah, the full posts and everything I talked about in this video will be linked

below in the description.

Let me know if you have any other ideas to add on to this or if you agree or disagree

with my point of view.

Andd yeah, that's really about it.

Thank you guys for watching and I will catch you all soon!

MAGAZINE LAYOUT IN ADOBE INDESIGN TUTORIAL - PRINT & WEB USE - Adobe InDesign Tutorial - Duration: 10:37.

today I have a tutorial based around

magazine layouts in Adobe InDesign both

for print and web views that's coming

right up now

how's it going people welcome back to

store graphics I hope you're doing well

today I've had to move from six heads

per week

down to five uploads because I simply

cannot make decent content for six days

a week

whilst being a graphic designer there

aren't enough hours in the day so now

that any days I'm not going to go

floating on Saturday and Sunday today

however thanks to another subscriber

suggestion we were looking at they've

been designed in base layout and export

for magazine use it is going to be a

long tutorial and I know many of my

subscribers are most likely not you can

use it we can design often but I do like

to cover a wide range of areas of

graphic design on this channel so if

you're not a fan of Adobe InDesign in don't fret I have more illustrator and

Photoshop tutorials as well as much much

more in the pipeline there's a list of

time stops in the corner if you want to

see specific points of this tutorial if

you do find this tutorial helpful let me

know in the comment section below and

subscribe to secure graphics you haven't

done already sitting got the layout we

are magazine / web use is slowly

different and out of print when you

create the document you can elect to

generate it for web use here

however like in my most recent web

publication link in the description

below I'll use the print document and

you shall see why next for this magazine

I use a typical a Ford that will pay

spread for a number of ages if this was

a print project and you will see later

in the InDesign tutorial I would only

design I work in Photoshop and add the

text and load the files in InDesign but

seeing as this is for web views I don't

have to worry about the text being

printed blurry as this would screen

using Lee so with that in mind I created

everything in Photoshop and transferred

the files over to InDesign

I simply created an a3 landscape

document at 300 PPI in Photoshop

and then split them in half for my

magazine pages once I've done that I

could in cream I work on here for the

magazine the left section view the left

page and the right protection being the

right page once happy I flatten each

side and save them individually as JPEGs

a makanan design and use the box tool

and place my files by going up to file

and in place

we're exporting a magazine for web use

you have a few different choices

depending on what you want to do with it

for example an SWF file will have a h2

animation like Sarah

a client for this magazine however

wanted to use interactive PDF version

make sure you select spreads and select

all due to JPEG lossy setting as well as

a maximum alpha it's worked fine for me

and you computed magazine in the link in

the description below next we will cover

how to set up a magazine for print Adobe

InDesign which is a little more detailed

and in-depth now let's set up an

InDesign document for magazine layout

for print go up to a file and your

document for printing we obviously need

to select the print option here and for

the number of pages you need to fit

however many pages you want to be

magazine also taking into account the

front and back page we can add a delete

pages easily at the late stage here we

can put in the size of each individual

page and I'm going to run with a four

for today and then the orientation I

either landscape or portray four columns

I often use three or magazine work but

some people may like to use two or even

four columns it is completely up to the

designer and then you want to use a

three millimeter bleed that is added

around the entire document

if your measurements are nine millimeter

you need to close a Libyan design and

reopen it and go to InDesign at the top

left corner preferences and then

measurements and increments when your

InDesign magazine document is generated

it should look something like this the

lines on the page that just guides

they're not going to be printed so add

ugly pages go to layout and then choose

your options from here

using my method for magazine design for

print I will then make my CDs in

Photoshop or release the artwork earlier

I recommend anything that isn't type or

logos you want to add the tanks and

logos directly into Adobe InDesign so

that then the old quality and do not

become pixelated and printed in

Photoshop I make an a3 document and then

we're going to rotate it 90 degrees

landscape event I generated our 300 PPI

then I add a guide halfway down the

split it up into two sections each one

VNA for

I then add guides to the edges to

increase the document by six millimeters

each way that will compensate for the

three millimeter bleed in Adobe InDesign

bleed here the central for printers that

they were cut everything outside of the

bleed to keep your main content and

bleeds

once I'm happy and then cropped each

side and flatten them and save them as

to individual JPEGs

now back native InDesign create a box

across the page like so and then go to

file on place

the KO file and drop it in it should fit

perfectly in place like so

hold down out until you see this icon up

here to duplicate the box lead the image

inside the box on the other side

now we can start adding in our text

using the box tool we use to add an

image and also import your logo files

remember to select all of your text and

go up to create our lines before you

send the file to print alternatively you

can leave it as it is and package the

font files along with Adobe InDesign

document to export or print up to file

and export select Adobe PDF print and

then hit OK use the most recent version

of Acrobat and these are the settings I

will use for this window under

compression I use these settings here

for high quality friends and I select

every single option apart for crop marks

here it is best to talk with your

printing company before as they may have

specific scented settings or printing in

the summary section if there are any

warnings about your magazine document

they will be flagged here once complete

export and you should have a preview of

it open up in Adobe Acrobat

so did you promo tutorial on how to

create a magazine layout on Adobe

InDesign helpful if so let me know the

comment section below and drop a like on

your way out subscribe to the story

graphics liquidated all of my 5 uploads

per week and until next time design your

feature today is
