Psychic Self Defense How To Protect Yourself From Curse - Duration: 8:18.

Psychic Self-Defense: How To Protect Yourself From Curse

Have you been cursed?

Voodoo?

Someone put a spell on you?

How do you protect yourself from potential curses?

Learning to psychically defend yourself is part of becoming a spiritually strong being.

Do you believe in Curses?

Some do and most dont.

It doesnt matter.

You can still be affected.

Since the Church no longer believes in curses and the scientific community laughs at hexes,

nothing can be done.

The bulk of so-called mental illnesses are attributed to the work of witchcraft,

especially if they hear voices in their head.

Psychologists contributed that most of lives are dictated by unconscious means.

Why should we be surprised if it turns out these unseen influences can enter our conscious

mind from above and below?

Here are 3 ways to protect yourself from curses or any psychic harm.

1.

Raise Your Vibration

Darkness cannot harm those whose vibration is in the Light.

That is why sorcerers hide in the dark corners of the night.

They smell fear, doubt, and weakness in a mans heartslike predators.

It is this low vibration within us that gives the power to dark forces from the outside.

Our aura is the protection from invisible influences (it is also what protects you from

getting sick from negative emotions.)

When you have weaknesses by attuning to anger, jealousy, greed, selfishness, fear, etc. you

eat up your aura protection field and so your shield is down.

That is when you are open to psychic attacks and all kinds of influences.

If you stand in the light, you cannot be harmed.

For the dark creatures fear the light.

It blinds them with its purity.

Practice compassion.

Live with honesty.

Attune with all that is love, light, and wisdom.

Soon your aura is so bright that it bounces off the slightest negativity that goes your

way.

That is why positive people rarely get sick and also why others negativity affects

them little.

No curse nor spells can affect you without your permission.

2.

Have a Strong Will

A curse is a battle of Will.

Let no one says otherwise.

When an alpha male walks into the tribe, he commands the room with the influence of his

Will.

He takes what he wants without any shred of doubt.

The people are under his influence and bows down to the alpha male.

There is a pressure one feels in the presence of a person with strong Will that makes you

subconsciously wish to be under his wings.

It is this Will that one employs in their dark tactics to invisibly influence a person

against their Will.

But if your Will is stronger than that of the sorcerer, then you can break free of his

influence.

One way to do that is to mentally reject their influence by saying NO!

I AM STRONGER, NOT YOU!

If someone cast a spell on you, it means that the victim is already mentally weak and has

weak Will.

So to protect yourself, develop a strong Will.

When I say Will what I mean is ones self-control.

This means you must not have any addictions (drugs, games, sex, work, sleep, etc.)

If you give in to temptations, then that means you are not strong enough to restrain yourself.

By having a strong Will, you will have self-confidence and become less influenced by other people.

3.

Stop the Associations

Most likely the average people are not cursed.

The only exception is that you hang with witches, wiccan, channelers, new agers, black magicians,

and the occult.

To protect yourself from curses is really to have nothing to do with them!

We take the Law of Attraction and say that likes attract likes.

By practicing and experimenting on psychic or magick for selfish gains, you attract people

who are like yourself.

It is worse if you perform blood sacrifice or channeling spirits.

Dont associate with negative people and the things they practice and you should never

have to feel that youve been cursed.

What to Do if Ive Been Cursed?

You cannot do anything on your own.

You are practically doomed.

Whatever the sorcerer wishes to do with you is at the fingertips of the sorcerer.

If you were meant to die, you will die.

If you were meant to perform an act, you will subconsciously do them.

And if you were meant to see a vision, you will see a vision.

That is, unless another stronger Will comes in to save your life.

If praying helps you to regain your Will, then do so by any means necessary.

Never give into the sorcerers Will and their dark influence.

Confronting the Sorcerer

If you knew the person who cast the spell on you, it will make the curse worse.

This is because recognition is permission.

By knowing the sorcerer, you increase the bond between you and the sorcerer.

Now the sorcerer can harm you more.

In ancient Egypt, the Hierophants holders of sacred knowledge would kill the sorcerer

once they were discovered.

However, such an option is not in the best interest of our current society.

Thus, do not confront the sorcerer and stay of out his/her way.

It is best practice to be kind and compassionate to everyone you meetin case you dont

piss off a sorcerer by mistake.

A curse does not last

Dont you worry.

A curse declines with each day.

Unless it is a death spell, it will usually fade with time.

And a death spell is very rare because no one has enough power to cause death nor feel

the need to.

Just hope that the sorcerer forget all about you.

A spell lasts as long as the sorcerer still has some connection to you.

It becomes more connected if there is an emotional vengeance in mind.

If you are looking for shamans, psychics, and witches to help you, you should find one

that knows what they are doing.

Because if they dont, they can make it worse.

No Need to Worry

As long as you are not going around pissing people off, there is no need to worry whether

you are cursed or not.

However, those who associate with witchcraft, new age, and spiritualism should be wary.

Be strong in vibration and in Will and you will be fine.

German Expressionism: Crash Course Film History #7 - Duration: 10:26.

The earliest days of film were possibly when cinema was its most global as a medium.

There was no synchronous sound, so filmmakers had to tell their stories visually – with

tools like framing, shot size, and editing – instead of with spoken dialogue.

Because of this, films could be understood across cultures: Someone throws a punch at

the camera, and you flinch, whether you speak English or Russian... or Eagle.

So far, we've been focusing a lot on France and the United States, where many advances

in film technology, storytelling, and commerce were born.

But the rest of the world wasn't very far behind.

Europe had a vibrant film culture leading right up to 1914, and the outbreak of World

War I, which profoundly changed world history - as world wars tend to do -

and left an impact on cinema that's still felt to this day.

German film, especially, became stranger and darker, as filmmakers attempted to disorient

the audience and immerse us in the heads of their main characters.

It's time to delve into the psychological depths of German Expressionism.

[OPENING MUSIC PLAYS]

When you think of World War I, you might think of trench warfare, chemical weapons, or a

war that began with an assassin's bullet.

But the war's effect on the burgeoning global film industry – as well as its political

and psychological influence on emerging filmmakers – was deep and powerful.

In countries like France, Italy, and the U.K., World War I brought feature film production

to a near-standstill, because the infrastructure and facilities were destroyed, or because

the filmmakers and their equipment were conscripted into the war effort.

You see, film was used to bring images of battle and its aftermath to audiences far

from the front lines.

The two national film industries most affected by World War I were those of Germany and Russia.

For now, let's focus on Germany.

We'll get to Russia next time.

Prior to the war, German films fell firmly within our idea of a "cinema of attractions"

– they were spectacles designed for entertainment.

Like me.

As film became a more sophisticated medium, many German filmmakers took a page from the

French "film d'art" movement.

They began thinking more about the craft of narrative filmmaking, telling more complex

stories rooted in specific characters' experiences.

Sounds boring to me. Where are the explosions, am I right?

And they called this kind of film Autorenfilm, or "famous author's film."

In 1913, director Stellan Rye made a film called Der Student von Prag, or The Student

from Prague, that finally unshackled German film from theatrical staging – the Proscenium

arch approach we talked about before.

This freed the camera to enter a scene and join the action, rather than sitting back to observe.

By the mid-1910s, the German government realized that its film industry wasn't at the same

level as that of the United States, France, Italy, or England.

Combine that with the country's struggles with pre-war depression and anti-government

propaganda, and you had a recipe for trouble.

In 1917, the German military supreme command took control of all the major film studios

and production companies and consolidated them under one, enormous, state-sponsored

entity called UFA.

The idea was to centralize all the film talent, equipment, and facilities in the country,

and to focus on nationalist films – a pro-German, pro-government cinema that would help them

win the war.

Imagine if the U.S. military took over and combined Warner Brothers, Paramount, Disney,

Universal, Fox, Sony, Canon Films (Breakin' 2:Electric Boogaloo?) – all the major film studios.

And then told them what they could and couldn't make.

That's a lot of resources, and a lot of power.

Now, Germany lost the war… badly.

And in the aftermath, Imperial rule ended and a national assembly in the city of Weimar

gave birth to a new republican government.

This era in German history – which we call the Weimar Period – was marked by hyperinflation,

political extremism, violence, and deeply troubled relationships with the countries

that had won the war.

But Germany was left with a huge infrastructure for film production and distribution that

actually grew during the war, while the rest of the economy went into a free fall.

Meanwhile, the rest of Europe's filmmaking capacity had been all but decimated.

So by 1920, Germany had the only film industry in the world able to compete with Hollywood.

The first post-war films made by UFA were beautiful costume dramas, or "Kostumfilme." -- Aptly Named.

Their aim was to compete with the popular, large-scale historical spectacles made by

Italy before the war, to entertain and distract audiences from the devastated economy.

A filmmaker named Ernst Lubitsch became the acknowledged master of the Kostumfilme, known

for his huge crowd scenes and mastery of artificial lighting.

Hopefully known for his costumes, too. I would think. I mean, it's a Kostumfilme. You better have costumes.

His first big international hit was Madame DuBarry, also known as Passion, made in 1919.

And in just over a decade, he would become the first high-profile German director to

emigrate to Hollywood to escape the rise of Nazi rule.

Now, with UFA sucking up all the filmmaking oxygen in Germany, there wasn't much room

for independent production companies.

And yet a few persisted.

One of them, called Decla, knew they couldn't compete with UFA in terms of scale or resources.

They were even hamstrung by the rationing of electricity, which limited the lighting

they could use.

So the producers knew they had to do something different to get people's attention

– and they did.

Their breakout film would reshape the German film style, and eventually influence the look

and tone of Hollywood genre movies.

It was called The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.

This little studio, made a movie that changed the face of cinema!

Written by Hans Janowitz and Carl Mayer, this film was thematically based on their experiences

as soldiers in World War I and their distrust of authoritarian leadership.

It tells the story of a young German man who meets a madman doctor whose somnambulist – a

kind of sleepwalking zombie – may also be a serial killer, targeting the young man's

best friend and the woman he loves.

The story gains a level of complexity at the end when it's revealed that...

Spoiler... get ready.

– our hero is an unreliable narrator.

He lives in a mental institution and may have made up the entire plot using his fellow inmates

and the director of the asylum as models for his characters.

Creepy, right?

What made the film stand out in 1920, and even today, is its use of mise-en-scène.

Mise-en-scène refers to the arrangement of things that appear in front of the camera.

All the physical stuff in a shot: the sets, props, costumes, makeup, actors and their

blocking, and the lighting.

Pretty much everything.

And Caligari's innovation was to use mise-en-scène expressionistically, rather than realistically.

That is, instead of making things like the sets, costumes, and props, as realistic as

possible, director Robert Weine and his two production designers deliberately distorted

everything within the frame.

It's all designed to look deliberately artificial and throw you off balance – from chairs,

desks, and doors that are way too tall, to impossibly peaked roofs, and even shafts of

moonlight painted across the set.

The pale-faced, dark-eyed makeup of the characters, as well as they way they move – particularly

the sleepwalking killer Cesare – is meant to be super creepy.

This is the heart of German Expressionism, using an exaggerated, distorted mise-en-scène

to reflect the inner psychology of the characters.

It's the world's first taste of highly subjective filmmaking as well – putting

us in the mind of an insane main character and making us experience the world as he does.

Given its anti-authoritarian themes, exaggerated mise-en-scène, subjective point of view,

and twist ending, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari is a powerhouse of a story.

It made at least four breakthroughs all at once for the history of film.

And although Caligari wasn't an immediate hit, other filmmakers soon began to pick up

its techniques.

Even UFA started to borrow its style.

And, before long, expressionistic mise-en-scène became a hallmark of German cinema in the

Weimar Period.

Because UFA was the largest film studio in the world at the time, it attracted young

filmmakers and technicians from all over Europe – including a 25-year-old Alfred Hitchcock.

Then, as Germany took a hard right toward fascism, many German filmmakers fled for London,

New York, or Hollywood, taking the techniques of German Expressionism with them.

Watch a film noir from the 1930s or a horror film from the 1940s, or even a studio melodrama

like Douglas Sirk's All that Heaven Allows from 1955, and you'll see the deep influence

of German Expressionism.

Heck, take another look at David Fincher's Se7en, and tell me those grisly murder scenes

and that ending would exist without Caligari.

WHAT'S IN THE BOOOOOOX?!?!

Now, another German filmmaker from the Weimar Period we should talk about is Fritz Lang.

Lang started as an architect, and, boy, does it show in his work.

His films depict grand, epic spaces, and he pays incredibly close attention to the details

and structure of his narratives.

They feel solid, like you could live in them.

He borrowed heavily from Caligari's use of mise-en-scène to amplify his own rich

and morally-complex stories.

But his films were less intellectual, and more interested in exploring the visceral

emotions of characters.

Lang's masterpiece is the sci-fi epic Metropolis, which combined German Expressionist techniques

with his interest in special effects.

The film is set in a futuristic society, in which the wealthy live in luxury high above

the toiling masses.

It's a love story between the son of the ruler of this society, and a poor worker from

down below – which, y'know, is par for the course in dystopian stories.

Metropolis was a precursor to everything from Blade Runner to The Hunger Games, but it was

also a huge financial failure at the time.

It took decades before it was hailed as a dark and sinister classic.

Now, no discussion of German Expressionism is complete without mentioning the other major

director of the time: F.W. Murnau.

Murnau was an art historian before he was a filmmaker, and wanted to make a film of

Bram Stoker's Dracula, but couldn't afford the rights to the book.

So he just… fudged it a bit.

He changed some of the names, rearranged some locations, and made his own version of the

same story in 1922, called Nosferatu.

He was heavily inspired by Caligari, but instead of building exaggerated sets, Murnau focused

more on lighting, staging, special effects, and makeup to get at the characters' inner

psychology.

Murnau would eventually turn his attention to Kammerspielfilm, or the "Intimate Theater"

film tradition, which tried to depict the oppressiveness of middle class life in contemporary Germany.

He remained as experimental as ever, particularly with camera movement.

His 1924 film The Last Laugh, for instance, is a masterclass in what Murnau called the

"unchained camera."

From pans and tilts to dolly and crane shots, his camera never stops moving, in an attempt

to make us feel what his characters are feeling.

Can you move our camera around for the rest of the video, Nick?

Nick: No.

That... that's fine.

That same year, the United States and its European allies implemented the Dawes Plan,

to try and help Germany pay for the extensive damage it caused during the war.

So the extra aid from the Dawes Plan was good for the German economy overall, but it was

a gut punch to the film industry.

Among other things, it strangled exports, meaning that German films had a much harder

time finding distribution outside of the country.

That in turn made it harder for production companies to get loans from the banks, so

many independent companies ended up declaring bankruptcy between 1924 and 1925.

American film studios saw the chance to take out their greatest rivals, and flooded Germany

with Hollywood films.

Germany's days as a leader in global cinema were over.

That said, German cinema of the Weimar period has had a profound and long-lasting influence

on film history, like few other movements have.

From The Silence of the Lambs to Don't Breathe to anything M. Night Shyamalan has ever put

on film, the techniques of German Expressionism are creeping us out to this very day.

Today we talked about how the political climate during and after World War I influenced filmmakers

across the world and the German film industry.

We learned about styles and techniques that emerged from this post-war society, like German

Expressionism's exaggerated mise-en-scène and Murnau's "unchained camera".

And we looked at how filmmakers like Weine, Lubitsch, and Lang taught the world to use

these tools of cinema to bring audiences more directly into the minds of characters.

Next time, we'll witness how the Russian Revolution incited a lot of filmmaking study

and innovation too – especially in editing – and delve into the theory of Soviet Montage.

The Subconscious Mind And The Power Of Imagination - Duration: 9:36.

The Subconscious Mind And The Power Of Imagination

by Deane Thomas,

On a daily basis, we are bombarded with an enormous amount of information, particularly

in the form of advertising messages.

Whether it be in the form of a product, service or a request to sign up for further information.

Our conscious mind filters those messages that may be of benefit to our daily life,

but our subconscious mind creates the trigger.

Subconsciously we are reacting or responding to carefully selected sensory words.

We are being driven to follow through based on what we have seen or heard.

Tremendous amounts of data mining are carried out by the social media giants, government

agencies and technology companies.

Why is this happening?

In many ways, they are tracking our interactions with their messages or words.

It is important that messages can be tailored to human trends in an instant, and with vast

pools of data, it becomes relatively straightforward.

Dont be persuaded by statements that personal data is not stored on systems; as soon as

you begin to react, the objective is achieved.

Sensory words are used in all forms of communication; these words cause an emotional response, which

engages you the reader.

Very powerful when it comes to convincing you to follow sales a process that results

in you sharing your details or payment!

In reality, you are being hypnotized, in a very subtle way, through the use of cleverly

constructed wording.

It is this engagement or interaction that allows others to influence your actions.

Some of the sensory words we see on a daily basis include Can you see yourself in a,

Sounds like you need, What would it feel like if, Lets focus on

etc.

The Subconscious Mind And The Power Of Imagination

Command Words

When we combine sensory words properly with commands, it is relatively simple to trigger

the mind into action.

We are creating a series of instructions with an intent to draw the reader to the desired

place or state of (sub) consciousness.

Imagine you are laying in an open field of green grass just observing the night skythe

stars begin to twinkle, just like your eyes often do.

The more you observe the more you will see, as the seconds form minutes, the more you

will be revealed.

A little longer, and you will see the massive expanse of your night sky.

With this example, we are guiding you to a particular state, which conjures a beautiful

image of your very own night sky.

Can you see it clearly as the time passes?

You are following commands in a very subtle way.

The objective is for you to create your own image, your own truth, your own perception,

and reality.

From this point, the words will continue to guide you, in a quasi-hypnotic state.

They are leading you on a journey, which will open your mind far away from the reality in

which you are sitting.

What would it be like if you can simply float away, and begin to explore the most

amazing infinite space, the universe?

Suppose you can achieve this effortlessly, where would you go, and what would you do?

Remember you have the universe at your disposal, so you can only imagine the endless possibilities.

As the journey unfolds you are immersed in your own special and unique sensory perception

of the universe.

It is yours, and you are being empowered to reach it, in a gentle yet persuasive way.

Therefore it is a reality that you create in another aspect of yourself and within your

consciousness.

Pictures Cause Emotional Response

The use of pictures in any form of marketing triggers an emotional response from us, as

it allows us to feel what the image is showing.

In combination with a careful selection of sensory and power words, again you are engaged

fully.

Yes, a lot depends on where we are at in our state of mind.

If for example, we are in work mode we are less likely to respond to an image

of a cute puppy asking for donations.

But we are likely to respond to an image of a successful person offering free advice

or guidance.

It is the combination of images and words that are used on a daily basis that influences

our way of living and thinking.

In effect, we are being guided (or manipulated) based upon our association with certain things

in our life.

Once we are hooked it is sometimes very difficult to escape the very world we have

created for ourselves.

More often than not the compulsion to follow trends or buy certain things is derived

from the clever use of images and words.

Have you ever wondered why so many posts on social media these days are created to capture

your attention?

With so much data mining being carried out, it becomes a relatively simple task to target

users.

Habitual patterns, impulses, comments, likes, shares, all form the perfect recipe for the

marketers to reach your subconscious.

Once they have us under their wings, our habits are continually monitored, and adjusted as

we do.

Power and sensory words are simply adjusted to suit the various campaigns and particular

audiences.

Words Sneak Into Our Subconscious!

Power and sensory words will always sneak into our subconsciousness, our body will always

react naturally, as it encounters and lives the word through feelings and expressions.

Reading a recipe book is a great example.

As you read your conscious mind is processing the information and creating an action plan.

When you begin to make the recipe your subconscious mind leads the way, it allows you to really

tune in and feel the recipe.

As technology evolves we become far more reliant on it as a tool for learning and research.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get by in modern day society without the use of

a computer or mobile phone hooked up to the internet.

Before the introduction of computers, we would rely on the printed word for answers and research,

which in turn, triggered the imagination.

In the days of IT dependency, we are slowly beginning to see how there is a major conflict

of interests.

Historical facts that we once used to physically check and read, are now being selectively

distorted to suit the demands of satisfying a purpose.

In some cases, the purpose can be a deliberate manipulation of the truth and put the reader

at a disadvantage.

Words are so very powerful, and as humanity evolves, the use of them is becoming far more

deliberate and precise.

Tap Into The Power Of Imagination!

As we awaken to a different reality each day, especially for those of us who are on the

path to enlightenment, it is important to stimulate the imagination.

This aspect of us is quite literally our own universe, our own powerhouse of entertainment

and fun.

Whether we choose to use words or pictures to stimulate, the pure energy we create is

very real.

The imagination triggers the subconscious mind to release that which does not serve

us.

In addition the ripple effect leads to a new layer or level of thought being revealed that

has been hidden or trapped within us.

If we look back at our own childhood, or even at our own childrens activities, more likely

than not we know it is the imagination that is being used.

This is way more than a fantasy being created, it is a new world.

Our imagination is not contaminated with superfluous nonsense it is pure source energy.

It is amazing what the imagination conjours up, and how we, as human beings, respond to

it all.

We become completely different, and engaged in our own desires and passions, in effect

we are tapping into our Universal energy of love.

Tap into your own powerful universe, and reach the state of Oneness it is contained within

each and everyone of us, we have just forgotten how to access it!

Pech und Schwefel mit dem Lied "Ride On" auf der Unicon 42 - Duration: 3:58.

True you ride the finest horse

I've ever seen

Standing 16' one or two,

with eyes wild and green

And you ride the horse so well,

hands light to the touch.

I could never go with you

no matter how I wanted to

Ride on,

see you,

I could never go with you

no matter how I wanted to

Ride on,

see you,

I could never go with you

no matter how I wanted to

When you ride into the night,

without a trace behind.

Run your claw along my gut,

one last time.

I turn to face an empty space,

where you used to lie.

I look for the spark

that lights the night.

Through a teardrop in my eyes.

Ride on,

see you,

I could never go with you

no matter how I wanted to

Ride on,

see you.

I could never go with you

no matter how I wanted to.

True you ride the finest horse

I've ever seen

Standing 16' one or two,

with eyes wild and green

And you ride the horse so well,

hands light to the touch.

I could never go with you

no matter how I wanted to

Ride on,

see you.

I could never go with you

no matter how I wanted to.

Ride on,

see you.

I could never go with you

no matter how I wanted to.

Ride on,

see you.

I could never go with you

no matter how I wanted to.

Milwaukee woman says police denied her right to an attorney - Duration: 2:14.

LAST SUMMER, POLICE ARRESTED

LOLITA WHITEHEAD AS THE GETAWAY

DRIVER IN THIS WEST SIDE

HOMICIDE.

>> I'VE NEVER BEEN IN N

SITUATION LIKE THIS, THINKING

ABOUT MY KIDS, AM I COMING HOME

TO THEM, AM I EVER COMING HOME

TO THEM?

>> WHITEHEAD SAYS DETECTIVES

INTERROGATED HER FOR MORE THAN

THREE DAYS HERE IN THE CITY

LOCK-UP EVEN THOUGH SHE ASKED

FOR A LAWYER.

WHAT DID THEY SAY TO YOU WHEN

YOU ASKED FOR AN ATTORNEY?

>> JUST BASICALLY LIKE IT WENT

THROUGH ONE EAR AND OUT THE

OTHER, AND THEY KEPT QUESTIONI

ME.

>> ATTORNEY WALTER STERN BLAMES

DEPARTMENT POLICY WHICH READS

ATTORNEY VISITS ARE AT THE

DISCRETION OF THE SHIFT

COMMANDER AND ARE NOT REQUIRED

TO BE GRANTED.

WHAT YOU HAVE IS THE SHIFT

COMMANDER SAYING NO, OR HAVING A

VETO POWER OVER THE RIGHT TO

COUNSEL UNDER THE SIXTH

AMENDMENT OF THE UNITED STATES

CONSTITUTION.

>> DO YOU BELIEVE THIS POLICY

VIOLATES THE CONSTITUTION?

ABSOLUTELY.

>> BUT MARQUETTE LAW PROFESSOR

MICHAEL O'HEAR SAYS MPD POLICY

IS NOT NECESSARILY

UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

THERE'S NO RIGHT TO COUNSEL

BEFORE A SUSPECT IS CHARGED

UNLESS THAT SUSPECT IS IN

CUSTODY AND BEING INTERROGATED.

IF A DEFENDANT IS INSISTING

ON HAVING A LAWYER PRESENT

BEFORE INTERROGATION PROCEEDS,

POLICE MUST IMMEDIATELY CEASE

ALL INTERROGATION.

>> A FEW MINUTES AGO, 12 NEWS

TAUGHT UP WITH POLICE CHIEF ED

FLYNN.

HERE'S WHAT HE HAD TO SAY.

OUR POLICY CLEARLY STATES

THAT EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT TO OUR

LAWYER AND IF THEY REQUEST ONE,

THE QUESTIONING WILL CEASE.

SOMEBODY FIGURED OUT HOW TO

EXTRACT THREE SENTENCES FROM THE

POLICY AND JEN UP SOME OUTRAGE

-- GIN UP SOME OUTRAGE.

AS FOR THE WOMAN, SHE SAYS

SHE DIDN'T GET ATTORNEY SHE

ASKED FOR.

Life after Graduation - Duration: 2:10.

Hi everybody, my name is Rebecca and today I'm going to be talking about life after graduation.

So I have finally finished my whole degree.

I've written all my finals and I've got all my marks and my graduation is approved and

on May 31st I will actually graduate from UBC so now I think I'm technically a real

adult?

I'm...I'm real.

Which is kind of weird so I kind of wanted to talk about the transition from being a

student to being a proper adult today.

So my transition from being a full time student to "real" adult was kind of shocking for me.

I went from being a very busy student, busy with school, busy with extracurriculars to

absolutely nothing which was a little bit crazy.

I normally try to keep myself pretty busy and then suddenly having no commitments was

a little bit of a shock to the system for me.

My first week after I finished my exams I kept myself pretty busy with that.

I'm in the process of officially moving to BC from Alberta because my job is in BC so

I will be living staying there long term.

I had to do things like getting a BC driver's license, registering my car, getting BC health care.

I tried to sort of schedule those so I kept myself in a routine because it is very easy

to sleep in until noon everyday but I didn't want to get into the habit of that.

I'm taking the summer off and will be travelling through Europe in June and July, just hanging

out with family right now.

It's also a little bit of an uncertain time.

Not everyone graduates with a job.

I'm lucky enough to be in the process of negotiating a job but lots of my friends don't have anything

lined up so they are kind of in limbo right now, applying for jobs and hoping something

will come up.

Everyone is kind of doing a different thing.

You can really easily compare yourself to other people but everybody is doing something

different so although you might be a little uncertain about what's going on, you're probably

on the right track.

So that's what life after finishing my degree has been like so far.

Make sure to subscribe to our channel if you want to see how the rest of my summer goes

and I will see you next time.
