Zakharova blasts US media's 'fake news' CNN that Russia's envoy to Washington is rumored 'spy' - Duration: 4:29.

Recently, people working for the CNN television network – reporters, commentators and anchors – have

established a kind of tradition in ascribing absolutely absurd actions to Russian Ambassador to the US Sergey Kislyak.

I get a sense that as far as CNN is concerned, a day without Mr Kislyak is a day lost.

CNN reports of March 2, 3 and 4, April 6 and May 10 referred to the Russian ambassador as none other than a "top-notch spy and recruiter."

And this despite our repeated rebuttals at all levels!

Such fake news stories are absolutely unacceptable.

What's more, this bears the hallmarks of a targeted propaganda campaign.

In other words, this is not so much about informing their audience as imposing this concept on other media outlets that look to the network with its broad reach.

Naturally, the Russian position is not represented in any way and has not been cited in this context despite the fact that a lot of rebuttals have been made,

most importantly, accompanied by requests to halt this stream of lies.

I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that, to be on the safe side (the laws of the genre are still in effect),

all these assessments were attributed to alleged comments by former or current US officials.

To reiterate, for our part, we have repeatedly objected to the absurdity and unacceptability of such assertions.

They seem to be designed to discredit the activity of the head of the Russian diplomatic mission and are not conducive to fostering an objective media landscape around our country,

bilateral relations, the international agenda or the improvement of Russian-US relations as a whole.

Sadly, our conversations at the CNN Moscow bureau show that these insinuations – there is no other way to describe them – are the result of the channel's deliberate editorial policy.

I would like to underscore this.

Our contacts show that this is not the result of investigative journalism (because this is absurd),

not journalistic improvisation, not journalistic professionalism.

CNN has a Moscow bureau that could have easily found out all the details of Ambassador Kislyak's career.

This is deliberate editorial policy that is handed down to reporters from above.

Whether it is formulated within the TV network or is handed down from above – that could in fact be a subject of your journalistic investigation.

The impression is that some people in Washington's present political establishment are clearly averse to the idea of the possible improvement of relations between our two countries.

Of course, it is very sad that this respected news network is playing first fiddle in this orchestra.

I am saying "respected" now, but we'll see what happens.

Balancing Heaven And Earth The Importance Of Being Grounded - Duration: 4:04.

Balancing Heaven And Earth The Importance Of Being Grounded

By consciousreminder

In the philosophy of the I Ching, human beings stand with one foot in heaven and one foot

on earth.

Keeping ourselves in balance in relation to these two realms empowers us to live on earth,

in the visible domain, while receiving energy and inspiration from the invisible sphere

of Heaven.

In this way, we can embody-bring into form-the divine, which is the highest potential of

humankind.

Our thoughts, dreams, visions and plans are all aspects of the Heaven realm, and they

are vital to our well-being; however, it is easy to become intoxicated in this potential-rich

territory, and sometimes we find ourselves disinterested in more earthly concerns.

We may dismiss the importance of taking care of our bodies and homes, forgetting to pay

bills and return phone calls.

The tasks of the earthly realm can seem mundane compared to the apparently limitless mind,

but being embodied is what enables us to transform our heady visions into new forms, giving us

the traction we need to create change in the world.

This is why caring for our bodies, and homes, is essential.

When we surrender excessive energy to the Heaven realm, we begin to feel rootless and

scattered.

This feeling is our psyches way of letting us know that we need to get grounded.

Many activities can help us find our way back into connection with our bodies and with the

earth, from creating art to doing yoga to breath meditation.

Even the simple, humble act of doing dishes can bring us into a state of vibrant engagement

with the world of form.

This can be especially useful due to the fact that our homes often move into chaos during

times of ungrounded-ness.

We can begin grounding ourselves with a simple visualization that strengthens our connection

to the earth.

Take a moment to get quiet and bring awareness to your first chakra, at the very base of

your spine.

At the same time, lift the crown of your head, elongating your spine, and imagine a cord

of light dropping down from your tailbone deep into the center of the earth.

Now consciously anchor it there.

Take a few breaths, confirming your secure connection to the earth.

The resulting sense of grounded-ness is the first step to masterfully bringing into form

our as yet invisible dreams.

THE PYRAMID AT THE END OF THE WORLD - Doctor Who S10 Ep07 - A CHAUD ! (Review) - Duration: 2:17.

-Three clues. -Ok.

-Monks. -The Meddling Monk? That would be pretty cool.

-Moffat. -Oh no, not Extremis...

-Better? -Oh, The Pyramid at the End of the World!

It's over, time to react "A Chaud"! (Instantly)

A pyramid appeared in the desert, between three military bases.

The monks are inside. What are they doing here?

Let's start from the beginning.

The beginning between "Previously" and "Now" is original and funny.

The idea behind the tricky pyramid is clever and well made.

We will not spoil the ending, but really...

But some things aren't right.

The last episode was all about a highly efficient simulation,

it could have figured out the Doctor would probably try to step in.

Alright, it can seem illogical, but it can be explained.

But why are the monks surprised by the consequences of the Doctor's actions

if they probably should keep an eye on him.

By the way, Doctor...

When Nardole isn't available, there's a great setting on phones

called "video call". Can be useful, sometimes.

Great transition as I'm about to talk about Nardole.

I'm so worried about him. Don't touch to Nardole!

I loved the heartbreaking relationship between Bill, who's worried about the Doctor,

and The Doctor, who's protecting her as well as protecting him.

Oh, and we were lucky enough to meet soldiers who think.

Not really realistic, but fresh and optimistic.

They aren't appealing, but they just are there to represent something.

Bad guys now. Yeah, bad guys!

They are more mysterious and scary than in the previous episode.

They are just here and they wait. Why?

We feel something isn't right, but we don't know what.

Are they really bad guys?

Is the Doctor only jealous because they offer to protect Earth?

So, this time, we ask ourselves many questions about them and some remain for the next episode.

Not like the previous episode in which they were like "Eeeeeh we're the villains..."

It's a good episode which rectifies the previous one

and prepares good things for the next one.

Great, I've still got time before the end of the world!

Kisses Zarbis and see you next week!

5 Scary Stories That Happened To People - Duration: 9:24.

It is time again, to take a look at another 5 creepy things, that actually happened to

different people all over the world.

It seems that these strange occurences could transpire in front of anyone.

Wouldn't you agree?

1.

The Unplugged Radio I lived in a weird house as a kid which resulted

in chairs being moved in other rooms when I was the only one home, kitchen cupboards

opening late at night when no one else was awake.

I could be sitting at the computer, in a lit room at night, and watch as a black cloud

would float through a closed door and sit, suspended in the air across the room from

me.

I had footsteps that would walk outside my door, and loud breathing.

I was so terrified as I child that I ended up sleeping my music playing so I could tune

out the noises.

I still to this day cannot sleep without music playing.

I probably could have convinced myself that most of it wasnt real as I aged, if it wasnt

for a certain weird happening.

It was about 11:00 A.M. in the morning, and my younger brother and I were waiting at home

while my mother was out doing jobs.

We were waiting for her to come back to pick us up, so we were sitting by the front window,

watching for car.

And then we heard the radio playing from my brothers room.

We both didnt understand why it was on all of a sudden, so we walked to my brothers room.

My brother hid behind me, and I had to walk in the room first, and the second I crossed

the threshold, the radio went silent.

On closer inspection, it wasnt plugged in, and there were no batteries in the back of

it.

There was no logical explanation for it playing.

And my brother, a young boy had a bunch of match-box cars, and an old car play mat, swore

and declared he had parked the cars neatly on it, in lines.

But when we went in there, the cars were thrown all over the room.

Luckily we moved out of that house, but my brother and I still remember the radio saga

clearly to this day, and its pretty much the only reason I know I wasnt completely crazy

as a kid.

2.

The Black Hole I lived in one particular house a few years

ago where we always suspected there was some sort of supernatural activity going on, wed

leave items in places then come back to find them gone, wed leave a room to find out the

door had closed on its own, seeing figures and shadows, that sort of thing.

However, one incident topped all of these.

Was lying in my bed one night reading just before going to sleep, when all of sudden

the room temperature seemed to drop all of a sudden, shortly followed by that gut feeling

you get when you suspect that something isnt quite right.

Curious as to why this all happened so suddenly, I lifted my head to scan the room to see what

was up, only to encounter a large black hole situated at the foot of my bed hanging slightly

ajar from the far wall.

I had no idea what the hell this thing was, I can only describe it as an absence of anything,

like there was nothing there, it felt so cold, and truly evil

Thankfully, not being completely paralyzed by fear, I remembered reading somewhere once

that ghosts, spirits and whatever else can only mess with you if you invite them in,

so i yelled at this thing to go away, youre not welcome here as well as other rude expletives,

after a while, this thing converged in on itself and that horrible feeling seemed to

disappear along with it.It's still one of the most strangest things that ever happened

to me.

And to this day, i can't quite explain it.

3.

The Basement Door When I was very young, we lived in a house

that had the usual ghost activity hearing footsteps, hushed voices in the next room,

etc.

But the really cool thing was the basement door.

It would open on its own, Im not talking open an inch or two when you closed another door

nearby, I mean it would swing fully open like someone was walking through it.

My parents tried locking the door and it would still swing open on its own.

By the time I was learning to walk, my dad was concerned I would fall down the steps,

so he went down into the basement and just said, to no one in particular, that he had

a young daughter upstairs and could they please be careful with the door.

Ever since then, the basement door would open, and then slowly shut on its own.

4.

When I was about 12 and started getting left alone at home, something used to shush me.

Id be pouring cereal, singing along to the TV and suddenly, shhhhhhh!.

First time it happened I absolutely crapped myself and didnt say a word until someone

came home.

I didnt tell anyone because I didnt think anyone would believe me.

Id even start to convince myself it was just my imagination but then it would happen

again.

I think it happened about 5 or 6 times.

One Saturday morning I was in my top bunk, the beds were super noisy and the slightest

of moves would result in them creaking.

Shhhhhhh! I thought it was my younger sister and decided

to annoy her further.

I started rocking about in my bunk making as much noise as I possibly could and suddenly

SHHHHHH!! I chuckled, still thinking it was my sister,

and then she whispered nervously from below Was that you?

The shushing, was that you? I popped my head down and said no, it was

you.

She looked terrified, her eyes welled up with tears and she said no it wasnt.

She ran out of the room crying and wouldnt come back in for a long time.

I realized it must have been the sushy ghost and was overcome with relief that I wasnt

crazy because someone else had actually bloody heard it.

Havent heard it since.

Im always kind of waiting.

5.

The Watering Hole Here is my story that I post whenever someone

asks this (or something similar): My wife and I moved in to my parents house

when my uncle died unexpectedly in 2009.

They had to move in with my grandmother to take care of her, so we assumed ownership

of my parents house.

Now this house had been the watering hole for my town back in the day the well is in

my basement.

It is a hole in my basement floor covered by a five foot wide slate rock.

This is important because our priest told us spirits can travel along waterways, which

is why every time we bless the house, it is only calm for a few months before things start

happening again.

Anyways

We move into the house and things are nice.

Everything is calm and my wife (fiancee, at the time) and I are happy to be out of my

sisters house.

Once my wife gets pregnant things kick into high gear.

Her shoes go missing on a daily basis when every day she puts them in the same spot after

work.

One day, when she was in the attic, she heard a woman ask: Is that my baby?

She said the woman sounded genuinely confused as to whose unborn baby she was pregnant with.

Things kept escalating until one night when I was just about to turn off the lights and

go to bed when I see a black mass by my wifes side of the bed.

It was pitch black and completely solid.

Before I realized what I was looking at, my hand flipped off the lights and my sleeping

wife immediately started speaking in what sounded like French.

Since we took French in high school and college we deduced that she was saying I am myself.

The next evening we were at play rehearsal for our local acting group and we were talking

to our friend, Rhonda.

As we were talking with her about random bits of small talk, we noticed she seemed very

distracted.

She kept glancing quickly from side to side, the way you would if you watching a bug zig-zag

around a room.

We asked what is going on and she said I know this sounds crazy but there is this black

thing in the auditorium.

Every time I look at it, it moves I just cant get a fix on it.

We freak out and immediately tell her our story.

We leave the auditorium and call a priest to have a blessing for the house.

As he is blessing the house he stops and does a double take at one of the crosses hanging

on the wall.

After the blessing is over he asks about it.

My wife says it is beautiful and it called to her.

She had to have it, she said.

He leaned back and said, thats interesting its a Benedictan Crucifix.

We reply with uhh.ok?

And he continues to say, Benedictan crucifixes are used in exorcisms.

It is very interesting that this crucifix called to you so strongly.

Thank you guys for watching.

Monsanto Giving People Cancer? - Duration: 10:57.

MONSANTO SO IS FACING A CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT

WHICH HAS BEEN FILED BY 800 CANCER PATIENTS.

THEY ARE PART

OF THIS CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT AND THEY ARE SUING MONSANTO, THE

MAKER OF ROUNDUP CLAIMING THE COMPANY FAILED TO WARN CONSUMERS

ABOUT THE RISK OF CANCER ASSOCIATED WITH ROUNDUP

PRODUCTS.

THIS IS A REALLY FASCINATING STORY BECAUSE KEEP

IN MIND THAT MUNSON SO GENETICALLY MODIFIED CROPS IN

ORDER TO WITHSTAND ROUNDUP AND THAT WAS ALWAYS SUPER SUSPICIOUS

TO ME BECAUSE IT IS NOT ABOUT GENETICALLY MODIFYING PLANTS OR

CROPS, IT IS ABOUT WHY YOU WOULD WANT TO DO SO.

WHY WOULD YOU

WANT TO USE A PRODUCT THAT IS SO TOXIC THAT YOU WOULD HAVE TO GO

OUT OF YOUR WAY TO GENETICALLY MODIFY IT.

THEY ALWAYS SAID IT

IS SAFE, THERE'S NO PROBLEM EXCEPT THE PEOPLE WHO WERE

EXPOSED TO IT AT HIGHER LEVELS ALL SOMEHOW GOT NON-HOP

SKINS LYMPHOMA.

THEY DIDN'T ALL GET IT OF COURSE, BUT A LOT OF THEM GOT IT

AND WHAT MONSANTO TURNS AROUND AND SAYS IS YOU CAN'T PROVE IT.

HOW DO I KNOW.

MAYBE COINCIDENTALLY YOU GUYS ALL GOT

IT FOR A DIFFERENT REASON.

THAT IS SUPER HARD TO PROVE.

BY THE

WAY THAT IS WHY YOU HAVE LAWSUITS THAT YOU GET TO PRESENT

YOUR SIDE AND MONSANTO HAS AN ARMY OF LAWYERS AND OTHER

GUYS GETS IT PRESENTED NUTS HOW WE ADJUDICATE THINGS THAT

THEY LIKE DON'T SUE US.

LAMY GIVEN THE DETAILS ON WHAT IS GOING ON AND WHEN I SAID

THEY ALL GOT THIS CONDITION, I MEANT THAT INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE

JOINED THE CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT, NOT EVERYBODY HAS BEEN EXPOSED

TO IT.

MONTHS UNTIL SAYS THERE'S NO PROOF THAT LIFE ARE

SAINT IS CARCINOGENIC.

THAT IS THE CHEMICAL IN QUESTION

CHEMICAL IN QUESTION HERE.

IN FACT, IT CITES A REPORT BY THE

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCIES CANCER ASSESSMENT

REVIEW COMMITTEE THAT SAID THAT THIS CHEMICAL IS NOT LIKELY TO

BE CARCINOGENIC TO HUMANS.

ALSO KEEP IN MIND THAT SOMEONE WHO

WAS WORKING WITHIN THE EPA AT THE TIME THAT THE STATEMENT WAS

RELEASED HAD VERY COZY TIES TO MONSANTO.

THAT IS AN ONGOING

THEME THAT YOU NOTICE WITH MONSANTO AND HOW DO WE KNOW IT?

WE KNOW WHAT THEIR EMAILS THAT SOMEHOW WE HAVE ACCESS TO THAT

INDICATE THAT THEY HAD THE COZY RELATIONSHIP AND ALSO THAT

THEY WERE WORKING WITH SCIENTISTS IN ORDER TO

MANIPULATE OUTCOMES OF CERTAIN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH.

BY THE WAY, WHEN THEY SAY THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THAT IS

CARCINOGENIC, THAT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE.

IN MARCH 2014 THE

RESEARCH ON CANCER AGENCY SAID IT IS PROBABLY CARCINOGENIC TO

HUMANS.

THERE HAVE BEEN OTHER REPORTS IN 2016 AS WELL AND IT

GOES BACK AND FORTH.

IF YOU ARE A RATIONAL HUMAN BEING AND A

GIANT MULTIBILLION-DOLLAR CORPORATION SAYS DON'T WORRY, I

PAID A BUNCH OF SCIENTISTS AND THEY AGREE WITH ME YOU KNOW TO

DISCOUNT THAT, RIGHT?

PLEASE KNOW ME PLEASE TELL ME YOU KNOW

THAT.

IF THEY HAVE NEUTRAL SCIENTISTS THAT HAVE REPORT SAYING IT

IS NOT CARCINOGENIC THAT IS INTERESTING AND THAT IS WHY

WE GO TO COURT AND FIGURE IT OUT.

EXACTLY.

JUST TO BE CLEAR, THERE IS SOME EVIDENCE AS OF NOW

AGAINST MONSANTO THAT I THINK IS INTERESTING ESPECIALLY THAT

THEIR EMAILS AND THAT INDICATE THEY WANTED TO MANIPULATE THE

RESULTS OF THE STUDIES I THINK THAT IS SUPER SUSPICIOUS BUT AT

THE SAME TIME YOU'RE RIGHT, YOU NEED TO PREVENT CORN AS OF NOW,

IT HAS NOT BEEN PROVEN BY JUST WANT TO GIVE YOU GUYS THE FACT

THAT WE HAVE AT THE MOMENT.

THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION'S

INTERNATIONAL AGENCY FOR RESEARCH ON CANCERS CAUSED A

STIR IN MARCH 2015 WHEN IT SAID THAT LIFE ARE SAINT IS PROBABLY

CARCINOGENIC TO HUMANS MEETING A CAN'T LEAD TO CANCER.

THE

LAWYER WHO IS REPRESENTING THESE PATIENTS AND THIS OF THE

FOLLOWING THAT WE'RE NOT ALLEGING THAT OUR CLIENTS GOT

FROM THIS CANCER FROM THIS CHEMICAL ALONE.

WE ARE SUING

BECAUSE OUR CLIENTS GOT CANCER FROM ROUNDUP.

RATHER CONTAINS

ANIMAL FACTS AND OTHER INGREDIENTS THAT INCREASE THE

CARCINOGENIC PROPERTY OF THIS CHEMICAL.

THAT IS INTERESTING.

THAT IS ANOTHER THING THAT NEEDS TO BE PROVEN BUT MONSANTO

STRESSES THAT THE INTERNATIONAL AGENCY FOR RESEARCH ON

CANCER REPORT DOES NOT ESTABLISH A LINK BETWEEN THE CHEMICAL

AND AN INCREASE IN CANCER.

THEY GO BACK AND FORTH ON THIS, BUT THE FOLKS TO HAVE

CANCER.

A LOT OF THEM HAVE CANCER.

AND THEY WERE EXPOSED AROUND UP.

LET ME GO THROUGH SOME OF

MONSANTO'S EXCUSES.

AND THEIR DIFFERENT TACTICS.

TACTIC

NUMBER ONE AND THIS IS NOT JUST MONSANTO, ANY COMPANY CHARGED IN

A CASE LIKE THIS, THEIR NUMBER ONE EXCUSE IS YOU DON'T KNOW IT

FOR SURE.

MAYBE ALL THOSE PEOPLE GOT CANCER, THERE'S

ANOTHER CASE IN ARKANSAS WHERE THEY ARE BY A RIVER AND THERE IS

A COMPANY THAT IS LEAKING STEFAN TO THE RIVER AND THERE IS AN

EXTRAORDINARY CASE OF CANCER FOR PEOPLE BY THE RIVER AND THEIR

LIKE YOU KNOW FOR SURE, HE COULD'VE BEEN THE BIRTH OF THE

FLOWERS IS SOMETHING ELSE.

YOU DON'T KNOW, HA HA.

IF WE AGREED

TO THAT CONCEPT THEN THEY COULD LEAK ANYTHING THEY WANT.

THEY

COULD MAKE IT AS CARCINOGENIC AS THEY WANT AND THEN SAY SINCE YOU

CAN'T PROVE IT HUNDRED AND 28% THAT IT WAS EXACTLY WHAT LED TO

THEIR CANCER THEN I WENT AND I CAN DO ANYTHING I WANT BUT THAT

IS NOT HOW IT WORKS.

YOU GO TO COURT AND THE JURY AND/OR THE

JUDGE DECIDES AND YOU KNOW WHAT?

A LOT OF TIMES THEY RULE AGAINST

THESE COMPANIES BECAUSE IT TURNS OUT OF COURSE, IT IS PROVABLE

ENOUGH, RIGHT?

YOU CAN TRACE HOW THE PEOPLE WERE GNOSTIC BEFORE,

THEY ARE SICK AFTER A CERTAIN TIME AND IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH

EVIDENCE THEN OBVIOUSLY YOU WHEN THE CASE.

NUMBER TWO THING THAT THEY DO IS THEY GHOSTWRITE REPORTS.

CAN GIVE YOU THE DETAILS ON THIS.

I WANT TO GIVE YOU

SPECIFIC DETAILS.

A MONTH BEFORE THE I ARC REPORT CAME ON 2015,

MONSANTO EXECUTIVE WILLIAM HAYDEN SENT INTERNAL EMAIL TO

COMPANY TOXICOLOGIST DONNA FARBER.

IN THE EMAIL, HE

SUGGESTED GHOSTWRITING PARTS OF AN OVERALL PLAUSIBILITY PAPER TO

SAVE MONEY.

HE CONTINUES TO SAY IF WE WENT FULL BORE WITH

EXPERTS, WE COULD BE PUSHING $250,000 OR MAYBE EVEN MORE.

LESS EXPENSIVE, MORE PALATABLE APPROACH MIGHT BE TO INVOLVE

EXPERTS ONLY FOR SOME OF THE LESS CONTENTIOUS PARTS OF THE

REPORT.

THEN MONSANTO WOULD GHOSTWRITE THE EXPOSURE TOX

AND GENETOX SECTIONS.

I AM NOT PUTTING WORDS IN HIS MOUTH.

I JUST READ VERBATIM WHAT WAS IN HIS EMAIL.

WHAT WOULD BE PALATABLE IS IF WE JUST WROTE IT SAYING IT IS

SAFE AND ONLY BROUGHT IN EXPERTS ON STUFF THAT IS NOT

CONTROVERSIAL.

THAT WOULD BE PALATABLE FOR MONSANTO'S

INTEREST IN GUYS YOU KNOW THIS RIGHT?

CORPORATIONS ARE BUILT TO

MASS MAXIMIZE PROFITS.

THEY ARE NOT HERE TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR

HEALTH.

THEY ARE NOT HERE TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING THAT AFFECT

THE COMMUNITY, THEY WANT TO MAXIMIZE THE PROFIT.

WILL THEY

HIRE SCIENTISTS, DO YOU THINK THERE'S ANY CHANCE OF THE

SCIENTISTS MONSANTO HIRED GOING TO COME ON SAY OH MY GOD,

IT'S REALLY CARCINOGENIC.

YOU GUYS HAVE TO STOP MAKING ALL THE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF

DOLLARS OF THIS PRODUCT ARE.

JUST HOW THE COKE BROTHERS HIRE SCIENTISTS TO DO RESEARCH

ON CLIMATE CHANGE AND THEN COME OUT WITH THE OUTCOME THAT

CLIMATE CHANGE IS NOT HAPPENING AND IT IS NOT MAN-MADE.

BY THE WAY, THERE'S ANOTHER REASON WHY GO TO COURT.

EXXON

MOBIL AND ALL THIS OTHER COMPANY SAY NO, OUR SINUSES SAY THAT

CLIMATE CHANGES IN HAPPENING AND THEN ONCE YOU DO SOME REQUEST

FOR DOCUMENTS YOU FIND INTERNAL MEMOS ASSAYED IS STEADILY

HAPPENING, LET'S FIGURE OUT HOW TO HIDE IT.

LET'S SEE WHAT

HAPPENS.

THE THIRD THING THAT HAPPENS WHICH I DIDN'T KNOW

ABOUT AND I HAVE SEEN THIS, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE SOURCE

WAS.

THAT IT WAS LEGIT.

WHENEVER YOU TALK ABOUT MONSANTO

OR GM OWES, YOU WILL GET A FLURRY OF ATTACKS ON MINE AND

THEY WILL SAY YOU ARE ANTI-SCIENCE AND YOU ARE

CONSPIRACY THEORISTS AND I THOUGHT THOSE PEOPLE ARE

KIND OF RILED UP, THAT IS INTERESTING THAT THEY CARE

SO MUCH ABOUT THIS.

ESPECIALLY FOR PEOPLE LIKE US YOU ARE CERTAINLY NOT

ANTI-SCIENCE AND WE LOVE SCIENTIFIC ADVANCEMENTS.

IT CAUSES YOU TO STOP AND THINK FOR A SECOND, DID I MISS

SOMETHING?

SOMETIMES YOU COME ACROSS COMMENTS THAT ARE NEGATIVE

BUT CONSTRUCTIVE SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO LOOK INTO A

DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE BUT THEN YOU DO SOME DIGGING AND YOU

ARE LIKE NO, THERE IS SOME WRONGDOING HERE BASED ON

THESE INTERNAL MEMOS AND SOME OF THIS ACTIVITY AND BEHAVIOR

BY THESE EXECUTIVES THAT MONSANTO.

THE SOMETHING SHADY GOING ON BUT WHAT THEY DO IS THEY USE

THE SAME TYPE OF TACTICS THAT ARE US POLITICIANS USE.

THEY HIRE TROLLS AND BOTS AND THEY GO AHEAD AND ATTACK

PEOPLE WHO HAD THE AUDACITY TO CRITICIZE THEM IN THE

BEHAVIOR THAT WE JUST LAID OUT FOR YOU GUYS.

I DIDN'T KNOW THIS UNTIL WAS JUST REVEALED.

TURNS OUT THERE

PAYING TROLLS TO SAY THAT STUFF ONLINE.

IF YOU ARE A PERSON WHO

EARNESTLY BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE FIGHTING AGAINST, WHAT ARE YOU

SURE YOU WERE INFLUENCED BY THE PEOPLE WHO ARE PAID TO DO THAT

IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I KNOW YOU'RE GOING TO GET TOUCHY ABOUT

THAT AND SAY NO, I AM INDEPENDENT AND I'M SURE, I'M

NOT SURE, I GUESS THERE WERE SOME PEOPLE WHO EARNESTLY

BELIEVED IT BUT NOW, THEY'VE RUINED YOUR CREDIBILITY TO

BECAUSE IT TURNS OUT THEY WERE PAYING EVERYONE ELSE IN SO NOW

WHEN YOU SEE AN ONLINE, AND THEY ARTIE DO IT ON FACEBOOK, SOCIAL

MEDIA, ALL OVER THE INTERNET, AND JUST LIKE THAT DAVID BROCK

SKIPPED DINNER DURING THE CAMPAIGN AND CHUMS PEOPLE TODAY

DURING THE GENERAL ELECTION.

>> THE FIRST THING, ONCE THEY

END UP IN THE WATER IS WE CALL

IT COLD WATER SHOCK, WHICH IS

Back to Finland! | RODAS Norway, Part 9 - Duration: 9:25.

Hello everyone!

Guess where we are today?

We´re back in Finland!

I thought to make this video in Finnish due to some of the topics and their literature, and it would be harder to translate other way.

So sorry for all you English viewers out there, I'm not gonna be talking this in your native language, but in my native tongue instead.

Blah blah blah, I already wrote that once!

So! How is everyone doing?

I'm doing quite alright by myself in fact.

I'm now a real poor fellow!

Today I spent abooout...

800 euros!

It just vanished like poof!

Never to be seen again!

Just kidding, money is meant to be exchanged.

But yeah, it's a little late friday night right now.

I msot likely won't be getting this video ready while it's still Friday...

Yesterday on Thursday, pretty much nothing special happened...

Well, if we don't count the fact that I sat half the day in toilet...

I'm not sure whether it was the old minced meat, or just barely old creme fraiche...

Some of the day went sobering from that, but the evening come and my stomach settled.

And I didn't start making another video, but instead took the opportunity of a day otherwise: I went to jogging.

And while on the jog...

Or actually just before the jogging I made a new friend from a cat, who kept rounding my camper van! She was a cutie :3

She was really tame and well behaving. Probably she was orphan, or abandoned or otherwise runaway... Or maybe she was someone's cat from nearby,

because of how well she behaved, came begging for scratching and jumped onto lap all the time. And she loved the ham. Such a cutie!

I really would have liked to take her with me, but decided otherwise...

If I'm gonna get/adopt an animal on the way, it will be most likely a dog.

Yesterday didn't happen anything else besides that. I tinkered in the car and got some minor fixings finished: an extra power outlet, safe on it's place...

All that kind of small things I still got on my list.

But, today on Friday: I packed my car in the morning, and headed straight away to the tire change!

We had setup a time at 10:30am, and BOY was it fast!

I pretty much drove to the shop, they opened the door right away and signaled me to drive in, and so I did.

And I can't even step outside the car, when there's already two jacks lifting the car already from the ground!

"I'll just... Go to the coffee room next door."

It took no more that maybe 15 minutes, until one of the guys already comes waving me back and says: Finished!

Meanwhile I just managed to pay for the operation, and this was the cheapest one I found from this city:

4 Pieces of big summer tires plus the installation on rims: 620 euros!

Not bad! Not bad considering that it was almost the same price,as would have been in Finland. Like... YES!

At least not everything in Norway is crazy expensive!

Well, from there I started driving towards Kilpisjärvi. I drove almost the full length in one sit, except for one pit stop:

When there happened to be on the way a real caravan stop, where you could empty your waste tank, fill your waters, there was a beach etc.

Later I made it to Kilpisjärvi, and you could literally tell... If you can just make out...

There, where it's more mountains and all that, it's the Norway. And here, where it gets flat, it's Finland!

It feels almost hilarious to see the height differential this clearly between Finland and Norway!

The moment you enter the Finnish ground: everything turns into pancake!

There where Norway has actual mountains...

But, I got to Kilpisjärvi. Everything went well, I got the winter tires on their way to South. And regarding that, I got something else also to tell, but more about that soon.

Another thing here was, a JOY even, as I got to the grocery store! And all the prices are like:

"Aaah, it's all so CHEAP!!!"

"The food is so cheap here!!"

Or not cheap actually, but still A LOT cheaper when compared to the other side of the border!

I bought about 40€ worth of food for the next week, no joking. I'm gonna survive with this for at least a week and longer!

I made a decision not to go shopping for food in Norway anymore. Hence the reason why I bought so much food now, so I can survive the trip to Lofoten.

Yeah! But then let's get back to the tires shipping operation:

Once we had weighted out the tires and come to conclusion that it's gonna be about 45-47€, and I thought:

Well not too bad actually! I had prepared for the shipping to cost something about 75€ since we are talking about 4 big tires that need to be sent to the other end of Finland.

I asked from the clerk that what is the policy about empty gas bottles, since I now have a total of 3 bottles with me,

from which one is kind of dead weight from here on out. So I asked if there are any return policies regarding these bottles, like a pawn/pledge you could get back...

And the answer I got, was pretty much "Nope, there's none. No money back from these."

When I had always thought that it is kind of a pawn/temporary payment for the time when you need a gas bottle.

In other words, the value for that aluminium canister/bottle empty is that 30€ everywhere... Apparently not, it is kind of worth 30€, but you'll have to sell it to individual...

And so the clerk told me that I can leave the bottle there next to the other empty bottles, it'll get recycled from there or something...

So I thought about it there for a moment while changing the other empty bottle for a full one and getting the tires from car.

And I thought that:

"So I would be basically giving away the bottle worth 30€, or dragging it along for the rest of my journey..."

And so I concluded: "Hell no!"

Rather I would PAY...

And this is where the Finnish selfishness came out the most!

Because I decided that I would rather pay an extra 10€ for the shipping costs, to get the gas bottle with the winter tires to home address!

I'm just gonna send it home to be stored for later use, or to be changed to a composite gas bottle or afterwards sell to other individuals for a small profit.

Anyways, there you have some of today's thoughts. I'll be staying here at least overnight, enjoying the Finnish unlimited 4G network connection.

I'll be uploading this video and see tomorrow if all the downloads are ready as they should...

I accidentally managed to burn away 5Gb's worth of data from my other cellular data-plan while in Norway...

As all of a sudden I noticed my Spotify downloading playlists automatically on the computer again over cellular, that it had DELETED by itself moments ago!

It pretty much wasted 5 out of 10Gb's from my data plan for nothing...

Luckily there's only half a month left on this billing cycle, so I think we can manage!

About tomorrow: I'll be probably heading towards the Lofoten as evening progresses. I just filled all the gasoline, water tanks, fridge and food storage here.

Here where it's still cheaper.

And I'll try to get to Lofoten fast in a sense, that I wouldn't have to spend money on food while in Norway! The very least I'll do is get gasoline on the way ONCE, but no groceries!

I have learned my lesson about Norwegian prices...

Nothing else for this time, thank you yet again for watching! And as always, I hope to see you in the next video!

See you later! CIAO!

Riffing on Making Images (One's Your Neighbor With a Rebel Can't) - Duration: 9:16.

Just riffing off yesterday a little bit

"show me something I haven't seen before"

I think what that does is it it's

incumbent then on the photographer to

push themselves harder than the cliche

or the easy shot in most of the

photography that that I think is going

to win out there it's not the easy shot

that's going to make the difference

especially in commercial photography or

editorial photography we try to sell

your creative abilities your abilities

to solve problems the easy shot isn't

going to work if the job is to shoot a

can of hairspray or a bottle of wine and

you just set it there and put a light on

and take a picture what how is that

better than them getting a CGI

representation of it how is that better

than them just doing it themselves one

of the things I tell my photography

students is you've got to show me a

picture that my mom couldn't do on her

iPhone or that your mom couldn't do on

her iPhone so I say picture this your

neighbor just got a rebel or Nikon or

maybe they got a cool little Fuji for

Christmas and they've got a lens for it

and they're just out taking pictures of

kids and stuff and just having a ball

they have no idea how to use the camera

to its potential they're just having fun

with it nothing wrong with that at all

my question is the photograph you do for

your portfolio

could they have done that photograph if

the answer is yes we have a problem

because if that's as far as you're

willing to push your own work to be as

good as somebody who's only been

shooting for four months that's not

pushing hard enough

that's not trying hard enough that's not

it's not you know grasping the situation

that we have in front of us which is to

make a unique and compelling image it's

so easy to make photographs these days

and I know some people would argue with

me but there's I'm sorry then it's easy

it's really easy compared to how

difficult it was to make photographs 20

years ago and 20 years ago it was a hell

of a lot easier than it was 30 years

before that and that was a hell of a lot

easier than it was at the turn of the

century it's become easier and easier

because it's an art form based on

technology it's just as hard to do a

jeté and a leap as ballet it's just as

hard to play a violin today as it was 50

years ago it's not as hard to make a

photograph we can grab one of these and

we walk out the door and we can make a

photograph a pretty good photograph

actually a photograph that meets

whatever criteria we may want to apply

to it but it's got to go more than just

is it sharp and is it in focus and is it

got good color because that's a it's a

no-brainer now we knew that the idea

that we can make a better photograph

starts with us understanding our gear

our limitations and what's inside of us

as far as a desire to push ourselves to

do something really really hard and you

know what's really really hard to take

an amazing or unique photograph these

days a photograph easy a photograph that

means something much harder a photograph

that means something and speaks volumes

to what it means way to hell harder

because as the bar for technology goes

down the bar for saying something

important goes up and I'm not talking

I'm not talking about making photographs

that are like earth changing or life

changing or you know the famous

photograph that Eddie Adams took

the South Vietnamese cop shooting the

Vietcong in the head which many experts

believe and I believe was the end of the

Vietnam War that was it it turned so

many people against the war you know one

photograph black-and-white grainy

photograph taken on an icon changed the

course of human events that's a powerful

photograph not talking about those I'm

talking about photographs of what we do

as commercial photographers jewelry beer

shots all of those things can you make

it something even more special and

especially now that we have

post-processing cooked into the pie used

to be you take the photograph on a sheet

of ektachrome or a frame of ektachrome

Kodachrome or whatever was that was it

they can do a little bit you know when

they made the separation they might pull

a little saturation or something but

that was it now when we shoot we can

actually plan our post-processing

as part of the photograph and I don't

care if it's multi image composites or

just a straight photograph we can plan

our post to be a part of the image

taking experience when I photograph

these days well when I fought it for the

last 30 years when I make a photograph

when I've got the camera up to my eye I

see the finished print I see the print

the touchable print even though I don't

print as many pictures as I used to

that's still what I see in my head the

finished print burned dodged vignette

'add whatever and I'm thinking as I'm

taking the photograph I'm seeing this

finished picture so I'm already jumping

ahead to the post-processing knowing

what I'm going to do does that mean that

serendipity eyes and jump in there and

change my mind no sometimes you get in

our own Photoshop or Lightroom and

you're you're working your plan and you

think what if I do that I just

if I just slide this and something else

comes your way but she still started

with a plan because you saw it in your

head

you pushed yourself to make an image

that was not just a snapshot or a

capture of a moment or an event one of

the things I have the photographer's do

is to go out and do a street portrait

the reason I tell I call it a street

portrait it's not street photography and

it's not a voyeuristic photograph it's

not stand across the street with a 200

millimeter lens and photograph that guy

over in the shop who doesn't know

they're being photographed

I mean intentionally going up to a

stranger and asking them to take the

photograph and then I want the

photographer's to move them from where

they are get comfortable with asking

them with all thank you for it can I put

you by this doorway now we're not going

to go hey can we walk across town to

this cool bridge I saw that's not the

point we're just going to move them a

little bit out of space you know why we

do that because we take control and once

we take control we own the frame it's

ours we put them in them in that doorway

we set them up we are the photographer

we're not just letting chance happen we

are making that image and it's up it's

quite a challenge but it's what we have

to do to make an image that is not

cliche that is not a snap or a grab shot

it's not what your next-door neighbor

would do with his rebel and kit lens

it's not we've changed it up for what we

see up here if we're not seeing stuff up

here then I think there's two sorry

there are two things that we need to do

more of number one take a hell of a lot

more pictures number two look at a lot

more pictures we've got to become

visually literate not just about

photographers the people who went before

us but about our own work about the

craft of photography become visually

literate

and it will help you make images that

are more interesting in the long run

that captivate more and push you farther

and farther towards finding your own

voice in photography it'll be quite a

challenge it really is but the harder

you work the more successful you become

it's magic that is see you tomorrow
