North Korea expected to send largest-ever delegation to PyeongChang Olympics - Duration: 1:51.

North Korea has agreed to send a delegation of athletes, cheerleaders and more to the

upcoming Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.

In fact, it looks like it'll be the biggest group the North has ever sent to the South.

Park Ji-won has more.

As the two Koreas agreed on Tuesday that the North will send a delegation of athletes,

high-ranking officials, a cheering squad and more to next month's PyeongChang Winter Olympics

in South Korea,... the focus now turns to who the North will send.

A pairs figure skating team are almost certain to participate,... but it's not yet clear

how many other North Korean athletes will make the trip to the South.

North Korea has sent delegations made up of hundreds of officials, athletes and cheerleaders

to South Korea on three different occasions -- during the 2002 Asian Games in Busan,...

the 2003 Summer Universiade in Daegu and the 2005 Asian Athletics Championships in Incheon.

However, this will be the first time that North Korea will ever send a Taekwondo demonstration

team, prestigious national music bands, chorus members, reporters and other visitors.

The exact size of the delegation will be clarified during further rounds of working-level talks.

The South Korean government expects the occasion to be a rare chance for inter-Korean cultural

exchanges,... and discussions are ongoing about the possibility of the two Koreas marching

together at the opening ceremony of the PyeongChang Olympics.

The two Koreas are also considering whether to host joint cultural events during the Games.

North Korea didn't participate in the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics,... the only other Olympics

hosted in South Korea.

South Korea's President Moon Jae-in willing to sit down with North Korea's Kim Jong-un - Duration: 2:34.

President Moon Jae-in faced the nation on this Wednesday for his very first New Year's

news conference.

The 90 minute long talk between the president and the press addressed a wide range of issues...

but attention grabber of the day was North Korea.

Our chief Blue House correspondent Moon Connyoung reports.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in's first New Year's news conference before some two

hundred Korean and foreign press... televised live across the nation.

In a speech that allows the president to outline his government's agenda and national priorities

for the rest of the year, the South Korean leader spent most of his time focusing on

the nation's economic and social issues.

Predictably, however, when the floor was turned over for questions, it was North Korea that

took center stage... as the president's presser came on the heels of a rare high-level face-to-face

between the two Koreas.

(Korean) "I'm open to any form of meeting, including

a summit with North Korea's leader, if it helps improve South, North Korea relations

and resolve the nuclear issue.

. The purpose of the summit, however, shouldn't

be talks for the sake of talks.

. It can happen only if the conditions are right

and certain achievements are guaranteed."

While describing Pyongyang's Olympic participation as "very desirable," and that he will push

for even more talks and cooperation with the North...

Mr. Moon also made clear that his ultimate goal remains unblurred.

(Korean) "I stress once again.

. The denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula

is a process toward peace and a goal at the same time.

. The denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula,

which was declared by the two Koreas in the past, is our fundamental position that can

never be compromised."

Mr. Moon had advocated for greater engagement with Pyongyang to reduce tensions, but as

leader he has had to walk a delicate line between the United States and North Korea.

(STAND-UP) "But on this Wednesday... quelling concerns

that the latest overtures by North Korea could drive a wedge between Seoul and Washington,

South Korea's commander-in-chief made clear that his government did not differ with the

U.S. over how to respond to the threats posed by Pyongyang.

His warning: Pyongyang would face stronger sanctions if provocations continued or if

it failed to show sincerity in resolving the nuclear issue.

Today I'd like to show you how to do another cute twin tail hairstyle.

When you put your hair into twin tails

usually the knots will be visible.

Today I'd like to show you how to do twin tails where the knot is hidden.

First of all let's divide our hair into two equal parts.

Find the top center of your head and the center of the nape of your neck

and divide your hair along the line between those two spots.

At first you'll need to do regular twin tails.

If you have long or thick hair,

loosely tie one half at first

to make it easier brushing the other half.

Tie your twin tail a little higher than usual.

Today I'm using a hair tie like this with a small ribbon.

Make sure the ribbon is on top and tie your hair properly.

Then tie the hair on the other side in the same manner.

Now we have regular twin tails.

Newt you will need to move the hair tie away from your scalp

until your twin tail is quite loose.

Then part your hair above your hair tie like this,

Put two fingers through and pull up your twin tails from below.

Make sure the ribbon is still on top

and fasten your hair tie again.

Just like this.

Do the same with the other side.

Part your hair here and pull your twin tail through from the bottom.

Your twin tails should be quite bouncy now.

Alright, now

let's curl our twin tails a bit.

I'm using a curling iron by Vidal Sassoon

Tilt your iron about 15 degrees when curling your hair.

Now we're done heat-styling the twin tails for now,

so at this point let's also straighten our bangs.

Right now our twin tails look like this,

but let's pin them up a little higher.

You will need regular hair pins.

Make sure that the ribbon on your hair tie is somewhat visible,

hold it up to your desired position

and pin it in place.

There should be some empty space here,

so keep that in mind while pinning.

Your hair will probably straighten out a bit while you pin it up,

so it's best to curl it again where it is necessary.

The first of our fluffy twin tails is done!

Let's move on to the other side.

Hold it up to your desired position.

When using hair pins,

pry them open with your thumb

like this,

and put them in.

Sometimes

your hair won't cooperate fully

so make sure to everything is in place and secured properly.

We're done! A slightly different style

that looks a bit like those twin-tailed wigs.

I'm sure some of our viewers have a lot of hair,

but since this is such a versatile twin tail style,

please try your best and use lots of pins

This style holds up quite well

so it should be fine even if you're a little rowdy.

I really recommend it.

It would look even cuter if you add some ribbons here
