the great priest has just confirmed that Vegeta has broken through his shell has
surpassed his limits and has achieved a brand new power that is beyond Super
Saiyan blue but it wasn't just the great priests in the preview earlier before
the episode started they also had confirmed that Vegeta I was gonna get a
brand new power so we're gonna talk about this because this is not quite
ultra instinct but it is very reminiscent of ultra instinct in both
the way his eyes are but also his attitude in this episode as he was
fighting and also the way that they did the animation as he was transforming
very reminiscent of ultra instinct but it is also a mix of a Kaioken
and a few other things we're gonna talk about that and more first of all the
episode title of course for episode 123 is sensing settings and ryuko kaiho book
Goku tobita body and soul full power release
Goku and Vegeta now the animation was a little bit weird it was all over the
place the first half of the episode was I mean really disappointing it was very
stiff honestly it was very bad and you're probably wondering why that's the
case well there was a few juicing things that happen with the animation team it
was supposed to be Osamu Ishikawa and here yoki etai working on episode 123
but for some reason in the last possible moment they actually changed it to DIF
different animators first of all the first half of the episode is mostly done
by Toei Philippines we saw this coming we knew - OH Philippines was gonna work
on episode 123 and you can see it right here they that team doesn't have as many
good animators and that is why the animation wasn't so hot here but but
that's okay now the second half of the episode when we actually saw it improve
a little bit better as Vegeta was transforming in such thing then we got
some interesting names first of all we got Yukihiro kitano who last worked what
this was in the last episode they worked he worked on but Yukihiro katana worked
on episode 109 that episode was the episode where go ku was facing off
against Gian so it was a very good choice for this episode also photos
futoshi Higashi day
one of the better episodes that he worked on was episode 111 which was the
hit vs God jiren episode and actually part of this episode was reminiscent of
that as jiren was fighting Goku he was throwing punches I go quit in the same
way that he was throwing punches against hit so it was very good to see that call
back to episode 1 in 11 very similar style but the very last surprise was now
ki tatay now katate what's giving last credits for episode 123 he worked on
episode 110 he is an incredible key animator so very surprised that he was
brought here last minute okay now going to back to this episode so Frieza
obviously was not done and he was able to still control other rocks and
everything was fine you got under 17 you got going on
obviously the animation wasn't so hot but they start working on teamwork and
they put a plan together that goes against what was revealed in the leaks
and the spoilers for episode 123 supposedly they were gonna actually go
han was gonna talk back and he was gonna take a few moments and not do it the
attack that he was supposed to and that may have caused him to either enter 17
to get knocked out or something to happen
there was no confirmation what was gonna happen but we did know that Gohan was
gonna hesitate but there was no hesitation as soon as Andrew 17 said
Gohan do it Gohan right away did the Kamehameha and
just blasted them both he did not stop he did not hesitate right but maybe
they're referring to this as they were being knocked out okay so topo punches
andrew 17 to the back but the attack is still going but then Gohan stops the
attack but that is no reason for the attack to not continue so Andrew 17 gets
out of the way at this point topo can't do anything but then suddenly
the attack goes to the side is this what they were referring to we've go
unhesitating because they don't look like much hesitation to me just go on
stop his attack early but the kamehameha is still going and then topo almost gets
ringed out so not quite sure if that was referred to
that is what they were referring to but that was pretty weak the way that that
was displayed on screen okay so let's continue now everybody's talking about
go Goku starts doing this little ki minds which in my opinion that's kind of
useless you have this little key and you think that's gonna blow the deal is
gonna blow up cheering it didn't work also I was wrong about when Goku was
actually looking at jiren I thought it was gonna be Vegeta looking at Jairam
but I actually wasn't it was Goku all right so this shot right here this shell
right here was coming from coconut from Vegeta so they continue the fight now
somehow jiren actually is able to dodge them mind to keep in mind that jeering
at this point only has one leg as he is walking one leg is on the ground what
the other leg is about to you know walk so he was able to immediately within
milliseconds jump into the air using one leg that is pretty impressive now we
have something reminiscent of when Goku is finding Crillon so Goku does the
obviously the destructor discs he Jairam punches them away and grabs one of them
and then the rock starts to fall so then Gian turned this part you can see that
Jun has some sort of advanced martial arts training he was just this wasn't
even a fight to be honest this was savagery all right this was savage he
was just absolutely going ham on Goku there was no contest now Gian does this
thing where he gret he put focuses his key onto his fist and he's able to do
long distance attacks and possibly even kill or just
completely knock somebody unconscious but then Goku has this special trick up
his sleeve which is to take Gian out of the arena and I first for a second I'm
like oh wow this actually works but obviously we knew that this wasn't gonna
work because it was only the first half of the episode now Jairam powers up and
guys this is not the I know the word spoiler saying that Jun was gonna power
up even more this is not it this is gear and still can power up even beyond this
and he was even able to just use little rocks and somehow his body was able to
knock out of them I don't know if it was because he was able to be
lighter or just because he was getting assistance from his key that was kind of
giving him a boost jumping off bouncing off those little rocks I'm not quite
sure but it was a good attempt from Goku he starts walking at this point he
doesn't even care he is just walking on the mines doesn't care if he steps on
them I mean this guy's savage all right he's a bitch he's a monster as free
services described him in a previous episode and now he's done playing games
he's just absolutely destroying Goku Goku stands no chance the Omni Kings of
course are having an orgasm somehow but as the fight continues I forgot to
mention actually Jericho's got a Vegeta a warrior and kai and boom are both say
that that is something that it's an honor it's an honor that jeering is
acknowledging Vegeta as a warrior Goku stands no chance in fact Goku he
doesn't he loses the Super Saiyan blue not because he was hit all right the
attack dodged because he was scared Goku was actually scared to the point that he
went from super saiyan blue back to his base form he was in shock out of Durin's
power very very scary situation now we have the same pose that goku had as he
was fighting kefla and then he he unlocked his ultra instinct once again
except he didn't get ultra and stick in this point it's actually the same pose
that Vegeta does as he something's fighting so Goku has the same post in in
a similar way but the difference is that Vegeta is not here and there's something
interesting about him he was actually as they were powering up so Goku does the
cow King which is expected Vegeta says he wants to break his limit and he
starts thinking about Kaba and now he thinks about how he didn't
keep his promise to Kaba that was the trigger that allowed Vegeta
to break through his shell and unlock the new power of Super Saiyan blue you
can start seeing the purple aura around his body right now you can see the
dotted the dotted white dots all right like I mentioned that Vegeta typically
has now you see his eye starts to brighten up just like Ultra instinct
there before our very implementation of ultra instinct but of course it is
different this time as he powers up magic and starts to see
diamond shape sparkles they are not dotted anymore and
Goku does he even care he doesn't even look alright he just he's so focused on
Jairam both of them heart alright so very interesting episode
jiren at first was owning both with them but then he can starts to feel the
attack he can start to feel the power from the Saiyans and he's not able to
easily defeat them so Julian is struggling just a little bit just a
little bit again keep in mind that hearing isn't going for power but next
week it's gonna be an incredible episode I'll do a whole different video about
that and that's all we got for episode 123 overall a very good episode guys
