Waching daily Jan 15 2018

Singapore has one of the lowest crime rates in the world.

So I'm at this hawker center, and I'm going to leave my laptop,

my cell phone,

and heck, even my wallet,

to save my seat as I go order lunch.

Could I get a chicken rice?

It's about 9am, and we're on the ground floor

of this building which has offices and condos.

Even though a lot of the shops down here are still closed,

well, you can still get a pretty close look of everything they're selling.

Although some stores have chosen to put in tighter security measures.

Singapore is ranked number two in the

Economist Intelligence Unit's safe city index.

It comes in right behind Tokyo.

The population of the city-state, is more than 5.5 million people.

In 2016, crime in Singapore reached a 30-year low, according to Singapore police.

And in that same year, there were a whopping

135 days that went by completely crime-free,

from crimes including snatch theft, housebreaking and robbery.

So, it's no wonder some businesses barely even shutter their doors at night.

Hello? Excuse me?

Maybe it's self-serve.

I think this is closed.

I think this means that they're closed.

Yep, this one's closed.

This Starbucks is located in one of Singapore's

underground train stations and as you can see by the white rope,

well, it's now closed.

No gate, no locks, not even a door.

It's just after 8:30pm at one of the busiest train stations in Singapore

and as you can see, some of the shops that sell items all day long,

have officially closed up shop and

indicated so by putting this cover over their products.

But of course, you're being watched.

One reason crime is so low here is, well, it's nearly impossible to get away with,

and punishment is strict.

Tens of thousands of cameras are actively monitoring areas around Singapore,

and the cameras come in handy.

On January 2 2018, a man snatched

a woman's cell phone and ran away.

Three days later, he was arrested and will

face between one and seven years in prison.

Well, it's all still here.

Don't try this at home!

Ten Weird Introvert Traits Other People Just Don't Understand - Duration: 6:07.

10 Weird Introvert Traits Other People Just Don't Understand

People have certain ideas about those of us who are introverted, our quirky introvert

traits and habits and what that says about us as a person.

The typical introvert is depicted as someone who is shy, unsure and doesn't like to be

around other people.

But this is completely untrue.

Any introvert out there can tell you that the stereotype doesn't fit and that there

are just a few weird introvert traits that we have that no one else can understand.

If you find this information is helpful to you,

make sure to like this video and subscribe to this channel so you won't miss any of our

interesting updates in the future!

1.

Our inner monologue is strong-willed and big-mouthed

That little voice in our head is our best pal, and when our mouths can't express our

distaste, you can be sure that our inner monologue is going strong.

This is what is happening when you say we look bored, tired, or generally anti-social.

In reality, we are having a heated debate on its own.

This is probably one of the quirkiest introvert traits people don't understand.

2.

We really are okay when you cancel plans

We're sure you feel horribly guilty and we appreciate that, but you can be sure that

we introverts do not mind at all when our plans are cancelled.

Nine times out of ten we aren't ready yet, and are always happy to have another pajama

day, anyway.

3.

We have days at home planned and prepared

You can keep your extensive plans for days out and activities, we have the plans best

laid for other things.

If you have ever hung out with an introvert on a relaxed day, you'll know that it is

one of the most over planned events ever.

We have all the movies picked, several different snacks, and a plan of what times we eat them.

We enjoy quality me time, so if you're lucky enough to be included in the plans, you should

feel blessed.

4.

We don't like surprise social situations

This is a big one.

Introverts can easily get overwhelmed and kind of tired, when it comes to large social

gatherings and loud parties.

So surprise parties are our worst nightmare.

Make plans with us so that we know what to expect and we can prepare ourselves to be

in top form.

5.

We'll make friends with all of your animals

If we feel overwhelmed, we usually just take ourselves away for a moment to cool off,

and this serves as great bonding time with your pets, our pets, or even just the neighborhood

pets.

We will aim to be your cat's new best friend, and even talk to your hamster if we find it.

Never underestimate an introvert's affinity with furry friends.

6.

We may not get dressed today, or tomorrow… or the next day

If we don't have plans for the next few days, then we may not see a reason to get

dressed in the day.

This doesn't mean we don't shower or we are unproductive.

We simply do everything in our PJ's and put clean ones on after a shower.

Comfort is everything to an introvert, and we value it greatly.

7.

Headphones double as a defense mechanism

Whilst their main purpose is to play music, headphones are also our universal symbol to

refrain from approaching us.

Sometimes introverts want to be able to sit in the library or at a bus stop and not be

afraid that we're going to get spoken to.

Surprise social interactions can make us uneasy, and we do what we can to avoid looking nervous

to others.

8.

We're open about our lack of enthusiasm

If you know us well enough and we know you accept our introverted nature, we will begin

to be a lot more open about our lack of excitement for big social occasions.

Although this may seem like we are whining, years of practice have developed a great sense

of humor around such a lack of interest.

No need to say that this is one of the weirdest introvert traits, as seen by other people.

9.

We're actually great listeners

Although we seem like we don't like people, if you have a problem, then we are here for

you.

We will listen and absorb everything that you need to talk about and do our utmost to

help and advise in best way we can.

Introverts are the greatest of friends, and we will make the effort to cheer you up and

help you with anything.

10.

And, if you know us well enough, you could mistake us for an extrovert

Once we really know you, we will completely loosen up, and that is when our full personality

shines through.

Although we are famous for being shy and unsure, introverts are actually very passionate people.

If you get us talking about the right subject, we can promise you we will talk until we are

blue in the face.

Introverts are a massively misunderstood group, and there are a few things that we do and

a few introvert traits that we have which other people just don't get.

Well, that's the 10 weird introvert traits other people just don't understand.

Really cool information isn't it.

Hopefully, this will help you understand us a little better so that you can see the real

person behind the introverted stereotype.

No Part Of You Is Separate From The Divine - Duration: 3:53.

No Part Of You Is Separate From The Divine

No part of you is separate from the divine.

We are each parts of a whole, but just because we are a part does not make us "less than"

the whole.

Its much like the cells that make up an organ of your body.

The liver does not say "I am better than all you insignificant tiny cells"... no...

The liver is grateful and appreciative.

It says "thank you for being of service and allowing me to experience myself and communicate

with myself in new ways".

In the same way each of our individual experiences and perspectives are no less than our experience

as a divinity.

They are simply fractals of experience, games within games that allow us as infinite consciousness

to experience itself and play with itself in new ways.

So no matter what you are experiencing, and what is coming up in your life, you are perfect

as you are.

When you see yourself as perfect, and accept yourself, no matter what feelings or emotion

arises, you align with the truth of your divinity.

The key to realize is that no experience, no choice, no way of being is right or wrong.

Good or bad.

There are simply preferences.

There may be choices that are right for YOU.

How that is defined changes in each moment, because in each moment we expand, and in each

passing moment, more becomes possible, and we are given more choice.

Right now we get to see long lost parts of ourselves that we have not seen in a long

time.

We get to experience and observe all the games these different parts of us have been playing

and we get to move foreward and choose which reality we prefer.

What games do we want to close out and bring to completion, and which games do we want

to play more of in our lives.

When emotions come up, we have the choice to get lost in them, and tell the universe

that we prefer to experience and identify with them...

Or if we prefer, we can observe them as they arise.

We can speak to them lovingly, thanking them for their service and their simply let them

go to become one with the wholeness that we are.

And from a place of wholeness we can make new choices that we do prefer, and we can

use the energy and value points it took to energize those games, and cycles we used to

enjoy, and served us in some way, and we can put it toward creating that which we prefer

now.

Life is about discovering our preferences, and then committing to them.

Finding what you are passionate about, what brings you joy, what gives you purpose, and

then taking responsibility for your own joy and passion and committing to mastery and

making the most of your gifts and unique abilities and specialities.

We are moving into a way of being as a planetary culture where instead of living IN the illuision

and completely forgetting who we truly are as infinite beings....

If we choose, we have immense support in being able to connect to and access our infiniteness

outside of space and time, and simultaneously live as an individual entity here on earth.

The age of suffering, which only comes from lack of memory of who you truly are, is over

if you want it to be.

All it takes is a choice and a commitment and the universe will support you in making

your dreams come true whatever they are.

The most AMAZING cute Muscovy Duck information video on YOUTUBE!!!!!! - Duration: 4:47.

hey guys it's Sydney and today we learn about Muscovy ducks. This is Sunny my Muscovy duck and she's

about two years old these Ducks are native to South America and they still

roam the jungle wild today. Ducks are found in the wild in Texas, Georgia, and

Florida. This little one right here is named polkadot cause when she was younger she use

to have four polka dots on her back. These guys eat a lot of bugs like

mosquitoes, flies, and potato bug. These guys can come in different colors you

can see. They come in black, these are some of the colors; white, grey, tan and chocolate. This

red thing on their face is called CARUNCLES. These ones are females and

the males have bigger ones than the females and you can tell. These ducks

don't quack like normal ducks. The females chirp and that males hiss. As you see these two

are super friendly. They communicate by wagging their tails like a dog and

lifting their heads up and lowering their heads down. One reason why you have to be

careful with muscovy ducks is the sharp sharp claws.

These claws can scratch you really really bad. These guys are really

friendly and you can have them as pets. If I had a baby duck i'd show you but

i don't have one because they grow up you can see it already. We raise them

from baby ducks and when they grew up they started getting a little meaner and

then we bought the other girls because we had two boys and two girls because

the males were being mean to the females they are leading them and stuff, but what

you might not want is they destroy your gardens. I had that before to my dad and look

a caterpillar. But i'm going to show you how she eats. This is a caterpillar from

one of our plants, so i'm going to feed it to the duck. As you can see she just

ate it. It's not just good for a garden, it's good for her because she gets more

vitamins in her stomach and once you get some more vitamins should get some more

healthier. As you can see this is where they lay their eggs sometimes and I'm

gonna go get one right now, oh there's two.

So as you can see their eggs are really, really soft and smooth, but when you

knock on it it's hard. There's yolk inside this one, there's no baby chicks

so you can shake it you can't you really hear anything sometimes you can,

sometimes you don't. We have these eggs for breakfast and just so you know.....

they're delicious. As you can see here you should clip their wings because they

can fly away. So go online to learn how to clip their wing. Hey guys always

remember to wash your hands while taking care of animals. La la la la la.

Feel free to leave any questions below and I'll get back to you. Don't forget to

look out my other videos that I do, and don't forget forget to subscribe! Bye!!..Byeee!

Reggionarra /Regio Emilia /Alexandra Aranha (ComlegendadoPORTUGUES) - Duration: 12:08.

Reggionarra, can be said in many ways, can be experienced in many ways,

can be told in so many ways.

A name that contains two words:

"Reggio" and "Narra" (to tell a story).

A fantastic binomial because it contains "Reggio" with his people,

its squares and its streets,

that are already a story ...

And then there's "Narra":

Reggio tells a story of itself

through the ancient art of storytelling,

through so many tales that children, parents and teachers

daily weave in our city's educational experience.

Because it's in the squares where people meet each other,

where they talk

and exchange.

Reggionarra is also a metaphor -

metaphor of a city that wants to tell its story with its hundred languages,

in all its forms. And it does so through storytelling

and listening.

Reggionarra is a day, this year it is two days, during which time the city

and the city's busiest , most important places,

courtyards, plazas and gardens,

and also libraries, of course, come alive with stories

and are covered by children and their families,

who are given wide access and a very rich programme.

Reggionarra is a project

that follows throughout the year

the lives of preschools,

children and their families.

Through an initiative like Reggionarra, the city wants to show that

every day it can be a city for children,

for their families.

Contributing for this event to occur are, of course,

the city's entire educational system, our administration,

and many families,

especially the volunteers,

as well as cafes, restaurants

and gathering places .

The Project Reggionarra was born 8 years ago

at a time when we strongly invested

in the need to communicate to the city the experiences that,

stemming from stories in preschools and infant-toddler centers,

are built along the year.

It was born from a project for increasing family participation.

Parents of children in our schools

participated in a training course

sponsored by Istituzione Nidi Scuole dell'Infanzia (Institution of Infant-Toddler Centers and Pre-Schools)

to work and think out what the art of storytelling is.

All parents tell their children stories,

So we are all carriers of narrative knowledge and competence.

It is important that they can put this experience into practice

by becoming storytellers for their children in a situation

of dialogue and listening,

not only in their own homes, but also at schools

and, by extension, the city, as gifts, in exchange.

It is important that this heritage of experience

is not kept exclusively within the homes and schools,

but dialogues with the city.

The city becomes more suitable for children.

Anywhere you go, there are readings, theatrical happenings, manifestations...

It is a good initiative because, in Reggio,

this is an occasion to be on the outside,

because Reggio is not a city with much of a nightlife.

It is important that children have experiences

If we talk about something ...

In this square we see trees

that change throughout the year.

Now, we see them full of leaves, these linden trees.

During the winter, the trees are withered,

they are completely leafless.

For children, it is important

to discover the city through the transformation

of things that change as the year goes by.

It is important that they have contact with what one is talking about.

If we speak of trees, one must take the kids to meet trees.

If we meet, for example,

if we talk of horses, one must go meet real horses

smell the scent, the odor, the color, the length of hair...

This makes the child have an experience,

that can later, via these languages,

the various languages, which may be clay,

graphic arts and photography, as well,

be incorporated into their activities

within infant-toddler centers and preschools.

My first impression of Reggionarra

is that it is an interesting, very well organized initiative.

I came here mainly to see the guys who draw comics

after being briefed by the children.

It is well done, because there's a ton of kids out there...

From preschool, ranging from 3 to 6 years,

I have very fresh memories, some of the most beautiful moments of my life.

I participated many recreational activities, at an avant-garde level,

where children were directly exposed to the world of computers,

digital entertainment and videomaking.

Reggionarra is a time during which the path

linked to creativity

happens in the ateliers.

Our educational system is precisely focused on children's creativity

which is developed and confronts itself

in the ateliers which are in our preschools.

The ateliers' path leads to Reggionarra, which is storytelling,

and puts at the center of the narrative something that we do and have always done:

finding ourselves around stories

told for children

along with children,

is a way to discover an identity as a community.

- Where does this go? - Yes... where, in your opinion?

- Where do you put the tail? Front or back?

- Really, there. Very well.

Because the relationship between people is made up of

of the atmosphere that is created, the looks,

the possibility of observing body language...

It is composed of many issues.

And kids, in this, teach us so many things.

They teach us to recover something that we, in our everyday lives,

tend to put aside or to lose.

- Now ... - The eyes!

- No! Yes?

- The Blackbird lost his eyes, how will he see? Louder!

- The Blackbird lost his eyes, how will he see?

- The other paw. What is your name?

- Francesco, a.k.a. "Franci".

- Classmate? From what class?

- From Freire School. - Freire Infant Toddler Center.

Naturally, the library, is a privileged location

for storytelling, for reading, books...

For this, we participate - our librarians,

particularly those responsible for the Children and Youth Section,

actively participate in the preparation

of this event.

And we open the entire library to the children's assault.

The children can

actually occupy each corner of the library and in every corner of the library

and stumble and fall into our books.

Not only read in books, but they can also build

their own books, writing stories, in a collective, creative environment.

They can also watch the dramatization of their stories.

We have an example right now: in our courtyard, a theatrical group

that is performing

their version of Robin Hood.

This is a mode that appeals greatly,

not only to children, but also to adults,

parents accompanying children

who also participate firsthand in the event itself.

Reggionarra is an example

particularly important that

an identity is something that we built in a day.

Taking pride in our origins,

exactly because we are secure of our origins

We can openly confront others.

Teatro Valli will be a venue in Reggionarra only today.

Tonight there will be a cyclical event,

during which viewers will have the honor, the privilege, the good fortune

to access a theater seen from a different angle.

It's simple spectacle, almost a game.

It develops itself backwards, in the sense that the focal point is in the boxes and not on stage.

These small stages become storytelling niches, where the narrator is inside

and at most six people from the audience may watch the performance.

The stage is a backdrop, no longer where the show takes place.

These cells, forming a "beehive", are very specific and clearly visible.

The idea is to focus the light

on the narrator's face only,

so as to avoid any distraction.

As an actor this will

fix the audience's awareness on the narrator's mouth,

because the expression on his face is enough.

The room lights were dimmed to a very low intensity,

giving off light almost so as to evoke the sea.

giving off light almost so as to evoke the sea.

I remember what Monica (Morini) and Bernardino (Bonzani) imagined and dreamed.
