I'm leaving the house today and I'm taking you with me.

I don't know if I should tell you where we're going.

Or... you probably already know because of the title of the video.

We made it!

And I found some people who will tolerate my presence for a few hours,

which is nothing short of a miracle, so we're gonna have a look around!

Alright, so I am here with a group of people, including...

Kai and Alycia, from the channel Alycia Dweeb,

and Lena from the channel Lani-Jani.

So I'm gonna put links to all of them in the description,

and you should watch their vlogs of this experience too,

because you might see a little shot of me from behind or something.

I know you wanna see my butt.

Sorry, this is like the worst vlog ever because it has no plot.

This vlog is gonna be like... a test of your love for me.

This tree has papers on it that all have wishes written.

Some are really sweet, and some... not so much.

So any good story needs conflict, right?

I think the conflict of this vlog is that there's so much good-looking food and cute stuff around me

and I have no money.

So Lena and I both got some really pretty big bubble teas.

But we're working on them.

We're doing out best.

And in Japanese it's called "tapioca"

They call it "true milk ice cream," with real honey, and then this one also has coffee over it.

What a day.

I am really exhausted. It's harder than it looks.

I am home now, and I got some bread!

When I lived in Spain, I lived right across the street from a panadería, a bakery,

and so this is just a great reminder of what I'm missing.

I miss it so much.

I miss bread.

And it has a strap on the bottom of it.

I'm not really sure what that's for,

the only thing I can think of is like, putting it on your arm.

You know how like, a pirate wears a parrot on its shoulder?

I wear bread on my wrist.

It could go on the top of your foot as well, although I'm not sure why you'd want it to.

YouTube KILLS Smaller Channels With New Rules - YouTube Demonetization 2018 - Duration: 2:35.

Youtube has some new rules following the logan paul scandal, and these new rules are really

screwing over smaller channels. I'm going to tell you how these new rules could affect

you, here on IO, Welcome back to inform overload, I'm charlotte

dobre. Don't forget to like and subscribe for all your trending news here on youtube.

I knew something terrible was going to happen to youtube after the whole logan paul mess,

but I didn't think that smaller creators were going to have to pay the price of logans

mistakes. If you're a smaller channel, you probably

got an email from youtube in the last couple days, stating that if you have fewer than

4 thousand hours of watchtime in the last year, you are no longer eligible for advertising

revenue. 4 thousand hours is a lot. That's 240 thousand minutes. These new rules are

pretty discouraging to small youtubers, and basically protect their biggest and brightest

stars. Even if you have just shy of 4 thousand hours, you're kicked out of the ad program.

Youtube used to be this magical place where the promise of being a paid creator didn't

seem that unachievable. Before, all you needed was 10 thousand lifetime views on your channel

to be eligible for monetization. So why is youtube doing this? Well I mean,

the timing could not be more clear. Youtube just announced that they would be removing

logan from their google preffered ad program. In a blogpost, youtube wrote that it would

better protect creators and stop bad actors by raising standards of ad eligibility. Bad

actors? Im not really sure how getting rid of monetization for smaller creators became

part of the discussion. The channels that are getting demonitized are only making less

than 100 dollars a year. Not big enough of a deal for youtube to want to waste advertising

revenue on. On the one hand, yeah I get it, youtube has a lot of videos to sift through

to figure out which ones are eligible for monetization. Many videos that were getting

monetized over the last year really should not have been. So basically, they are doing

this to make their job easier. There is some good news. From now on, youtube

is actually reviewing popular content with humans, not robots. Which will hopefully prevent

a video like logan pauls suicide forest video from ever being allowed on youtube. Well at

least theres that. I'm going ot lighten the mood with some comment replies

What is the circular economy? | CNBC Explains - Duration: 3:43.

Here's an idea. What if you never had to buy a lightbulb again?

Instead, you lease light, like you lease a car or an apartment.

It's just one idea that's part of the circular economy.

Before we can understand the circular economy, well, it helps to define the linear economy.

Most organizations today operate in the linear economy which is based on a 'take, make, and dispose' model.

So, for example, a lightbulb company takes resources, like glass or metal, to manufacture its products.

The company makes the bulb and sells it to a customer like me who uses it.

Once the lightbulb burns out, I dispose of it.

It's likely neither the company nor I will ever see that lightbulb again.

For a lightbulb company to make money in the linear economy, it tries to buy materials

for the lowest cost possible and to sell as many bulbs as possible.

This model operates as if there are infinite resources, like glass or metal, in the world.

But you and I know that's not the case.

That's why the circular economy treats materials like they're finite.

A company in the circular economy doesn't just recycle products but maintains ownership of them all along,

so the model looks more like this, make, use and return.

Let's go back to the lightbulb example.

Instead of buying bulbs, this office in London leases its light from Philips Lighting.

It signed a 15-year lease for the service and pays a fee each quarter.

Philips still owns the actual lightbulbs and provides

maintenance and replacements when needed, no extra cost.

This model gives Philips the incentive to produce energy-efficient lightbulbs

and it saves the office money with fixed lighting costs.

It's a radically different business model that makes companies more like service providers

than sellers of a physical product.

And it turns out lots of companies are looking for ways to get involved.

Take H&M, one of the world's largest clothing retailers.

It's working on a strategy to become 100 percent circular.

The company collects old garments in its stores and recycles them.

Since 2013, H&M says it has gathered more than 55,000 tons of fabric to reuse for new garments.

Some governments are getting on board with the circular economy, too.

The European Union adopted an action plan in 2015 aiming to make supply chains,

you guessed it, more circular.

This includes everything from production to consumption,

repair and manufacturing, and waste management.

The point isn't just to become more 'green' and create environmental benefits,

there could be economic benefits too.

One report estimated a shift toward the circular economy in the E.U.

could increase GDP by an additional 12 percentage points by 2050.

But moving from the linear economy to the circular economy also brings costs.

Companies would need to redesign their supply chains and products

in order for them to be used again and again.

Manufacturers might be burdened when it comes to the actual logistics of disposing and recycling.

A recent report found only 22 percent of U.K. companies are trying to generate value

from products that are returned for reuse, recycling or refurbishing.

It's estimated the cost of transitioning to a fully efficient reuse and recycling system across Europe

could be as much as 108 billion euros, roughly 130 billion dollars.

Cost is one thing. Changing people's mindsets is another.

And that's what it'll take for the circular economy to go from an idea to reality for everyone.

Let's see how we do.

- Let me give you a little context

of what Sway in the Morning is to hip-hop.

It's like graduation, a bar mitzvah for a rapper.

He's interviewed Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar.

He's probably interviewed big foot

and the abominable snowman

and just hasn't put the footage out yet.

With me doing music,

and hip-hop being a part of my everyday life,

of course I would want to meet Sway.

Of course, I would want to rap for Heather B.,

Tracy G., DJ Wonder.

Let's go do the Five Fingers of Death.

How hard can it be, man?

Five different beats, I do that at a cookout.

I do that with five Coronas, five pounds of mac 'n cheese,

and collard greens in my system, man.

I have been trying to contact these people

to get on the show.

I tried emailing.

I tried calling up to the station.

I tried Twitter.

I tried Instagram, but then, it hit me.

My friend Yinka, works for the same station.

- So, the top emcees that I've heard

come up to Sway in the Morning kill it.

Really bad ass, ripped it,

and to my surprise, Shia LaBeouf ripped it.

Sometimes, you know, when a rapper comes up,

I'm not gonna name any names,

it doesn't go as planned,

and then, I get the text from Sway and say,

"Hey, cut off so and so.

"He messed up real bad.

"I don't want to embarrass him, end his career."

- Listen, I'm no fool.

I'm very rested at this point in time,

I haven't rapped in a while.

So, before we step in the ring to rap,

and touch the almighty against the Five Fingers of Death,

I thought it'd be good to talk with a few people

that have rapped on the show already,

and they could give us some guidance

and some pointers as to what to do

and what state of mind to be in when we go up there.

- There are few platforms, when you just talkin'

'bout barrin' up where you can go.

- And really shine and be known for that,

and for me to go on Sway in the Morning

and bust a freestyle was a dream come true

because that's the big time.

- What advice would you have for us preparing

and trying to get on Sway in the Morning to freestyle?

- Maybe you should record your freestyle.

If you got a verse, pick five different beats

and see if you could get that verse

to go over five different beats

'cause you never know what beat he's on.

All those bars I had pre-written,

they weren't like off the top.

So, it was such a big platform,

I didn't want to leave it to chance.

Freestyle could just be going on the beat

that you don't know or wasn't expecting to hear

and matching it with a rhyme that you had.

It's like doing it in the studio,

but you don't have a second take.
