Hi everyone. I'm Sandy from the channel 'sandyreadsalot' and the book that i
would like to recommend is 'Far From You' by Tess Sharpe. This is a mystery thriller
book following Sophie who has witnessed her best friend Mina being shot and
killed in what everyone else thinks was a drug deal gone wrong. Sophie was left
alive and the killer got away. So she is now determined to figure out why Mina
was targeted and who the murderer was. I think this book is an underrated read.
It was an emotional and compelling story that took me by complete surprise.
It is also beautifully told in past and present timelines. This book also tackles
a lot of different subjects from chronic pain, drug addiction, recovery and losing
a loved one. This book also has own voices bisexual representation. Overall I
thought this was a fantastic story and I hope you check it out.
Hello BookTube. My name is Anio. If you are interested in seeing more of my face. You can go to my
BookTube channel 'fairylightsandbooks' where I make book hauls, wrap-up, the usual tag
and challenge videos. I also love to do reviews and my reading vlogs. My book
recommendation will be my favourite book of all time, which is 'City of Bones' by Cassandra Clare.
I adore every single sentence and word in this book and I may
or may not own 11 copies of this but then again, I do collect them. I hope I
see you around my channel and I hope you enjoy my content. Hello everyone my name
is Jen and I am from the channel 'BookSyrup'. On my channel I love to discuss all
types of genres of books. Including YA, literary fiction and poetry. If I could
recommend you guys some books that represent me and are also just some of
my favourites, I would recommend 'The Name of the Wind' by Patrick Rothfuss.
'The Glass Castle' by Jeannette Walls. 'The Opposite of Loneliness' by Marina Keegan.
'Eliza and her Monsters' by Francesca Zappia and 'The Collected Works of Billy
the Kid' by Michael Ondaatje. All of those books range from fantasy, to Ya, to
nonfiction, to literary, to poetry and I absolutely loved all of
them and I think all of those books together really represent what my
channel is all about. Which is just exploring a lot of different books and
talking about them and just sharing the bookish love. I also love finding own
voices diverse books because I myself am first-generation Syrian American. So I'm
always on the hunt for some good books with Middle Eastern main characters. So
that was just a small description about me and my channel 'BookSyrup'.
Thank you for listening and I hope to see you guys on my channel soon.
Hi everyone. My name is Michelle and you can find me on my booktube channel called
'BooksMichelle'. On there I talk a lot about Harry Potter my all-time favourite
series but also about historical fiction and fantasy books. Basically everything
that I love to read. One book that I want to recommend is 'My Sister Rosa' by Justine Larbalestier.
It's about a boy who suspects that his younger sister is a
psychopath and she is very creepy. This is my all-time favourite standalone but I
haven't seen that many people reading it so far and that is why I would love to
recommend it to you all. It's really, really good and I promise you will love
it as well. Hello everyone my name is Alex from 'Alexandia Ang' and my favourite
book is 'Not If I See You First' by Eric Lindstrom. One of my favourite books of all
time. It follows our main character Parker Grant, who is a blind protagonist
and she just doesn't want people to treat her differently because she is
blind and she want people to take advantage of her. So she sets these
rules up for herself, for people actually that she knows, so that they don't treat
her any differently. So yeah, definitely pick up this book if you're looking for
a diverse read. It's awesome and I love it. Hi everyone my name is Lily and my
channel name is 'SweetLoveBooks'. Today the book I'm gonna be recommending is
'When The Moon Was Ours' by Anna Marie McLemore. Anna Marie McLemore became one of my
favourite authors last year in 2017 and this was the first book of hers that I
read. I just think her writing is beautiful. It's not too purple or flowery
but it is very lyrical and very simple. Almost kind of like intoxicating. It just
kind of sweeps you up in the story and makes you feel like you're reading a
kind of fairytale. The main characters in 'When The Moon Was Ours' are wonderful.
They're complex, whilst also being like a little cinnamon rolls, which are my
favorite kind of characters. I'm very particular about how my romance is
written and hers just works so well for me. I think she builds up relationships
so, so well and makes them so believable and you so want to root for them. This
book in particular is very much about your identity and accepting all of the
different facets that make up who you are and it's just done it in a way that
is so powerful and I think so true to the teenage experience but it's also
very relatable just for everyone I think. If you haven't read this book or any of
Anna Marie McLemore's most books for that matter, I would really really recommend them.
They're so powerful and there's so many different layers to them. They are own voices
and magical realism stories. They're always very diverse and touch upon a lot
of issues that are present and prevalent in today's society and I just adore them.
I really adore 'When The Moon Was Ours. It was one of my favourite books the last
year, if not my favourite. I'd really highly recommend you guys pick it up.
Hi guys. I'm Maggie over at 'abookishfairytale' and one book I want to recommend to
you guys is 'The 5th Wave' by Rick Yancey. I talk about this book all the
time on my channel and it's my favourite trilogy. So I guess I'm recommending the
whole trilogy but just the first book for now and I talk about it a lot on my
channel but I also love reading fantasy, science fiction, dystopian, all those
great wonderful books. So if you want to subscribe to my channel please do.
Hi name is Cindy and my channel is 'oodlesofbooks' where I talk about books and other
book related content. Today I'm gonna be recommending 'God Shaped Hole' by Tiffany DeBartolo.
This is one of my all-time favourite books that I feel is underrated
in the book community. I read this years ago and it's still one of my all-time
favourites. It's a simple love story between two characters Jacob and Trixie,
who are just finding their way through life. It has a really realistic
relationship and characters you can really connect to. So I definitely
recommend it to anyone who loves contemporary and love stories.
What's up guys, my name is Olivia and my channel is 'HeyOliviaReads' and a book that I would
recommend is 'The Diviners' by Libba Bray. I don't have the first book with me
because someone's borrowing it but I have the other two in this series.
Especially the first book, if not the whole series, is worth giving a try.
'The Diviners' in a story about a bunch of teens with various magical supernatural
abilities in 1920s New York and they are forced to go up against all
these different supernatural threats and essentially save the world.
It's wonderful, it's magical. The characters are wonderful and amazing
and beautiful and I just I love it and it's literally like me and my
personality and everything that I love in a book. Hey my name is Tina and my
channel here is 'tinyfitreads'. I read a lot of fantasy because that is my
favourite genre to read. So you'll see that a lot of that in my channel. A book
that I would probably recommend to everyone and anyone would be 'A Wishing
Spell' by Chris Colfer. It's part of a middle grade series called 'The Land of Stories.'
It follows a set of twins a brother and sister that gets sucked into
a book of fairy tales and it's their adventure of trying to get back home. It's so
magical. You'll get to meet all the fairytale characters that you've grown up with.
I heard it's being in development to become a movie. So I'm excited but
yeah but hope you guys give this book a chance I hope you give my channel a
chance and yeah I'll see you guys soon. Hey guys my name is Jay and I'm from the
YouTube channel 'TheAwkwardBookworm'. My favourite book is a 'Vinyl' by Sophia Elaine Hansen
and the best way that I could describe it this book, is saying that
it's a gritty, steampunk, dystopian. Where music is used as a weapon. It also has an
amazing diverse cast and a lot of lgbtqa+ elements to it. So if you get the
chance to pick it up, I highly recommend it. It's one of my all-time favourite books
and it's definitely underrated. Hey guys I'm Kaenna and you I'm from the channel
'KeyReadThat' and I'm so glad to be a part of this collab and so I was told to
give you guys my favourite book or books that I recommend. All time favourite and I
recommend 'Flat Out Love' which is the first book in the companion series. This
book by Jessica Park is about love, it's redemption, it's friendship, it's
second chances, it's two characters that make you want to squeal and just hug
them because they just need hugs and they are beautiful cinnamon rolls and
read it. It's one of my all-time favourite books. It's just, it's beautiful. So I
hope you guys enjoy it. My name is Lindsi and welcome to my channel
'WanderingReader'. I'm a British BookTuber and I make what you would call
the normal bookish content, with a few added extras as well. What you might find
different about my channel is that I read from a variety of different genres.
So if that's the kind of that reader that you are, then you should definitely
check out my channel. The number one I want to recommend to you today is
'We Need to Talk About Kevin; and this is by Lionel Shriver. This is an old
favourite of mine and I absolutely love this book. I'm not going to say much
about it because I do think you need to go into this book pretty blind in order
to get the most out of it but very much at its centre is that it's a book about
parenthood and whether you can have total control over your child's life.
It's an absolutely fantastic book. I absolutely zoomed through it. It kept me
on the edge of my seat and there were quite a few shocking moments in here and I would
definitely recommend it. Hey Kate and friends, it's Bree and I make videos over
at 'Bree Hill'. I mostly read poetry, historical fiction and memoirs and my
favourite go-to author is Susannah Kearsly. This is 'Mariana' by her, which is my absolute
favourite. It follows a woman by the name of Julia who moves into this house, that as
a kid she always promised herself that she would one day move into and shortly
after moving into this house, she starts encountering these haunting
remnants of a woman from centuries ago by the name of Mariana. And it's so rich
with history and romance and has a strong female lead and I absolutely love it.
Hi my name is Rocky and my channel is 'Blonde With A Book' because I'm blonde
and I carry around books and the book I would like to recommend is Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.
I read it when I was a young teen and it was one of the first
classics that really resonated with me and really heavily influenced me and my
love for books and reading and writing. It really reinforces the idea
that information is not as important as knowledge and that free speech is really
important in society, even if we don't always prioritize it and it really
resonated with my belief that I could make a career out of reading and writing
and reinforce that for me at a young age. So it heavily influenced me and I would
love it if other people read it to see if it had the same influence on them as well.
Hey world, I'm Hannah and on my channel
'Ricarda Seven' I talk about all the stories I enjoy. Be that books, films,
comics, music, whatever but I also create my own stories and poems to share with you.
And one of the books you'll hear me talk about a lot on my channel is
'Openly Straight' by Bill Konigsberg because it's just so amazing
in discussing labels and diversity and the way a single word can never actually
represent a person's identity. So a lot of love for this book
and a lot of love to all of you and I hope to see you soon. Hi my name is
Cherrie and I've been on BookTube now for just over two years my channel name is
'CherrieWalker'. I read a whole range of books from contemporary, fantasy, sci-fi,
classics, middle grade, YA. I pretty much read anything, I quite often do
hauls and unhauls, occasional reviews, wrap ups, TBR's,
top 5 Wednesday's. I films lots of different things on my channel. The book I want to
recommend or more the author, is Sophie Kinsella books. I absolutely adore her
books. Every single book I've read by so if you can tell her I've given four
stars or more. I'm Sam from 'A Bear And A Bee Books' and today I'm here to share with you one
of my favourite YA reads. It's 'Poison' by Bridget Zinn. I love this book. I found it
to be laugh out loud funny. It's not a book I've heard about very often. I like to
find, I like to find more room for books. No, I like to find lesser known books. If
you enjoy YA fantasy books that involve animals, witch's, forests,
potions. What more could you ask for. I typically read YA. My first love of
reading was historical fiction. I also read classics and modern classics, with
the occasional nonfiction thrown in and I hope you'll come check me out.
Hi everyone my name is Leanne and I make BookTube videos over at 'LeanneRose'.
One book that I would love to recommend to you is 'The Museum of You' by Carys Bray.
This is an incredibly touching novel about a young
teen girl, coming to terms with the loss of her mother, understanding her
relationship with her father, her own sense of identity, going through puberty.
It's just a really, really touching but really funny novel and I highly recommend it.
Hello everyone, my name is Paola and I'm
from the channel 'Paola Mancera' so Kate asked me to recommend one book that
represents me or my channel but I decided to recommend you two books
because both of them are sort of like a get to know me type of read if you know
what I mean. The first book that I want to recommend
is 'Juniper Lemon's Happiness Index' by Julie Israel and the second book that I
wanna recommend is 'Like Water for Chocolate' by Laura Esquivel.
Hi my name is Emily. I'm from the channel 'thenerdiestbookworm'
and you should subscribe because I make content like every Tuesday and Thursdays
and I'm really funny. At least I try to be. Like I'm hilarious. You know totally
hilarious. I love the BookTube community right now. Like we're all supporting each
other, helping each other get their subscribers. Helping each other get
the views. It's just a beautiful community to be in right now and I'm so
in love than the fact that I am a part of this community and I'm just so glad I
get to share this amazing community with you guys. So I have a quick
recommendation for you guys it is 'Juliet Takes a Breath' by Gabby Rivera and this
book is a coming-of-age story about a Puerto Rican lesbian and this book has
characters all over the LGBTQIaP+ spectrum and it's just like a really
a diverse book and it's a really good book. It's a short book but it feels like
it's going on for a long time but it's not in a bad way. It's in a really good
way. If you wanna hear more about my thoughts, I have this book in my 2017
favourite reads. So you should check that out on my channel. That's just a quick
introduction to me. I hope you go and subscribe to my channel. You really
should because I am super cool. Like really, really really cool. :ike I'm doing
sign language right now, that's how cool I am. I'm awkward a closing things out
and you will realise this in my youtube videos. So you should go watch them.
