Web Camera Cover 3D Printed - Duration: 4:17.

This is another video where I show my experience printing designs from other creators.

This time it's a Web camera cover.

Designed by HorizonLab.

It is good for those who do not trust 100% in cyber security.

Instead we cover the camera with any tape we can use this simple design.

I leave the link of this project in the description.

In Thing Details we have a link where it shows more information about the project.

To download the project go to Thing Files and then just click on DOWNLOAD ALL FILES.

The project is compressed but I will only extract the stl files.

The software I use as a slicer is Cura.

After printing the appearance of the pieces is this.

As you can see they are very thin pieces.

The red part should slide easily on the black.

I do not know if it is the calibration of my printer but the red part is slightly out of tolerances to work properly.

So I slightly reduced the size of the red piece.

Now it works well.

To attach, as recommended, I used double-sided tape.

The thinnest I've found.

I tried to put tape on to fill the black part without compromising the operation.

I think it's cool.

And because it is a slim design, it does not create any problem when closing the PC.

Neuroscience of Depression - Duration: 8:35.

Emotions are a

critical part of the human experience.

We laugh and we cry.

But sometimes our emotions

get out of hand.

Sometimes the sadness we feel

isn't just the blues.

Sometimes it's depression.

It turns out that depression is

more than just feeling kind of sad.

It's actually a neurological condition

that can really affect

your everyday life.

Depression is common.

It's actually the leading cause of

disability among American adults.

According to the National Institutes

for Mental Health,

in 2015, about 16 million people

had at least one major depressive episode.

Just during that year.

That's almost 7% of the US population.

Depression comes in many forms,

but most of those forms

have the same symptoms.

They just vary in severity and length.

Common symptoms of depression

include sadness, feeling empty,

hopeless, or worthless, fatigue,

changes in sleeping patterns,

irritability, changes in appetite,

and thoughts of suicide.

When a person experiences

these symptoms for at least two weeks

and it's interfering with their daily life,

it's called major depressive disorder.

This is the one you probably think of

when you think of depression.

But if those symptoms go on

for more than two years,

it's called persistent depressive disorder.

And depression can be brought on

by specific situations and life changes.

Like postpartum depression,

which can occur after a person has a baby.

And seasonal affective disorder,

when the lack of sunlight in

the fall and winter can trigger symptoms.

Because depression can look

like normal sadness,

and because it's not always obvious

what's caused it,

sometimes it's hard for people

to believe that it's real.

That's why some people argue that

if you just try hard enough,

you can break the cycle.

You're in control of your own emotions,

so you can choose to feel better.

Anyone who's suffered from depression

knows that that's not true.

We're still trying to figure out what

causes it, and what exactly

it does to our brains.

And it's important for doctors and scientists

to keep working at understanding

the condition so they can patients

get back on their feet.

There's definitely a genetic component to depression.

If your parent or sibling has the condition,

it's more likely that you might

end up with it too.

But it can also be linked to

environmental factors.

Things like abuse, neglect,

and severe life stressors like financial instability

or a death in the family all make it

more likely that a person might develop depression.

So what's actually going on in your brain?

Up until recently, scientists were

pretty sure that depression was caused

by an imbalance of certain chemicals

within the brain.

Dubbed the monoamine hypothesis of depression,

this theory said that a lack of neurotransmitters

like serotonin and dopamine,

two chemicals associated with feelings of

pleasure and reward,

would lead to depression.

This theory is supported by a couple of things.

First, scientists found that people with

a particular genetic variation in the gene

that codes for the serotonin receptor 5-HTT

are more susceptible to depression

after stressful life events when compared

to people who don't have that mutation.

This mutation is thought to reduce

the production of serotonin receptors in the brain,

leading to a decrease in serotonin signaling.

There's also evidence,

mostly from post-mortem brains,

that people with depression have changes

in the dopamine signaling in their brains.

Some research has found that,

in patients with a family history of depression,

deliberately reducing levels of the proteins

required to make neurotransmitters like

serotonin and dopamine

does decrease their mood.

And, finally, there's the fact that

antidepressant medications like

selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors,

or SSRIs,

work.

These medications function by

altering the release of serotonin at the synapse,

adjusting serotonin signaling throughout the brain.

But scientists are no longer positive that

depression is a direct result of a

simple chemical imbalance.

Some of the research and treatments

have been inconsistent with that idea.

And the condition is really complex.

So researchers are also exploring

a lot of other possible explanations.

Brain imaging studies have found that

patients with depression generally have

less gray matter in several different brain regions.

Like the cingulate cortex,

the hippocampus,

and the amygdala.

Gray matter, made up mostly of

neuronal cell bodies, dendrites,

synapses, and glia,

is the place where most neuronal signaling happens,

so changes in gray matter volume

can affect all kinds of things.

Like emotions, memory, and decision making.

This has led some scientists to theorize

that depression is more related to

structural differences than neurochemical ones.

Basically, depression shrinks the

parts of the brain that are important for

controlling our emotions and making choices

to take care of ourselves,

making it hard for patients to recover from

feelings of sadness.

Some scientists think that depression

could be related to changes in brain plasticity.

That's the process that lets your neurons

change and adapt their signaling in response

to new information.

It might even be related to a

reduction in neurogenesis,

the growth of new brain cells.

Even though it's uncommon in the adult brain,

there are some brain regions that

create and connect new cells throughout our lives.

This theory points out that chronic stress

has a negative impact on neuroplasticity.

And a similar change in neuroplasticity

is seen in patients with depression.

Treating the condition with antidepressants

might increase the formation of new brain cells.

And depressed patients taking antidepressants

have higher levels of BDNF,

a chemical that supports neurogenesis.

Yet another theory about depression

links it to our immune system.

Research has found that patients with depression

have unusually high levels of cytokines,

small proteins that play a big role in

the inflammatory response that kicks off

when your body is responding to an injury.

Cytokines are involved in sickness behavior.

You know how, when you're sick,

you're usually not very hungry,

and have trouble concentrating,

and really just want to sleep a whole bunch?

Hey...those symptoms sound an awful lot

like depression, don't they?

This theory proposes that high cytokine levels,

caused by stress,

can impact normal neurotransmitter signaling,

leading to the symptoms of depression.

This is why some doctors may encourage

their patients to take antiinflammatory medications

like ibuprofen alongside an antidepressant.

Therapy can be very effective at treating depression.

About one in every three people

will find that cognitive behavioral therapy alone

can improve their symptoms.

Micah is making a video all about

the psychology of depression.

And how it's treated in a clinical setting.

There are also a number of antidepressants

available on the market.

Medications like SSRIs, SNRIs and

tricyclic antidepressants function by

increasing the levels of neurotransmitters

like serotonin and norepinephrine at the synapse.

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors,

or MAOIs,

block the enzymes that break down

those same neurotransmitters.

In all cases, they're primarily aimed

at enhancing neuronal signaling

involving those neurotransmitters.

But not every antidepressant is the same.

Even different SSRIs can affect

different people in different ways.

And it takes a few weeks for the medications

to really start having an effect.

Sometimes it takes a while to find

the right medication,

which can be stressful and frustrating

for a patient who's really needing help.

Because depression is pretty common,

and because it's complex,

it could be that the underlying cause of depression

varies from person to person.

Whatever the cause, scientists are getting

closer and closer to finding better solutions.

And luckily, treatments do exist.

They're not perfect, but they can definitely help.

That's why it's so important to keep working

on answering these questions,

even when some medications are

already available on the market.

If you or a loved one has experienced depression,

I hope that this video has helped you

understand the condition a bit better.

How To LOW BAR SQUAT Properly (COMMON MISTAKES & FIXES)! - Duration: 5:25.

Hello everyone this is James Lu from Lu Strength & Therapy, in this video

we'll be talking about the low bar squat along with proper technique with some

common mistakes with their fixes. The low bar squat is a variation of the

traditional barbell squat where the barbell is placed lower on the back. This

is beneficial as you are biomechnically at an advantage and are utilizing more

muscles of the posterior chain. However it is important to note that not

everyone is designed to perform in the low bar squat. Lifters with a shorter

torso with longer legs will generally favor the low bar squat whereas the

lifter with the long torso and short legs will favor the high bar squat.

Another major difference between the two styles of squatting is the torso

angle. Generally speaking, lifters adapting to more of a low bar squat may

have slightly more for torso lean. Regardless of your squat style, having an

even amount of weight distribution and balance on your feet at all times is key

to an efficient squat. The very first step in a low bar squat is barbell

placement. Depending on your anatomy and mobility, this may differ from person to

person. Generally speaking the barbell should be

somewhere between the upper back and rear deltoids. Squeezing the shoulder

blades back and driving the elbows down and forth will help create a shelf on

the back for the barbell to sit on.The second step is having a stable and

proper stance as previously mentioned your anatomy and mobility will play a

huge role in your stance. Somebody with poor hip and ankle mobility may need

to adapt more of a wider stance with their toes pointed outwards.Generally

speaking I would recommend having the feet slightly larger than shoulder-width

with the feet slightly rotated outwards. Christine here has an adequate amount of

both hip and ankle mobility and prefers more of a narrow stance in the low bar

squat as she feels more powerful in this position. The third step, which is

the most important step is to have an equal amount of weight distribution

along the feet focus on having three points of contact on your feet. This

means having an equal amount of weight distribution on your heel and the balls

of your feet or the big and small toes. The fourth step is to put the torso and

the hips in the most optimal position to squat in. Understand that in

a low bar squat, there needs to be slightly more forward lean to help

balance your center of gravity as the barbell is placed further on your back.

This is done by hinging the hips backwards just enough so the barbell is

stacked over the mid-foot while keeping a neutral torso. Be sure to avoid any

bending of the knees during this step. The fifth step is to properly brace the

core to increase intra-abdominal pressure and core stability. This can be

done a number of ways and is usually taught differently. I personally recommend

taking a deep breath in from the stomach (specifically the diaphragm) and pulling

my ribcage down towards the pelvis. A good analogy to think about is if you're

wearing a weightlifting belt, instead of breathing in and creating more space in

between the belt and your stomach, do the opposite and breathe in and push your

entire abdominal muscles into the belt. The last step is to squat down and not

back by breaking from the hips and knees simultaneously. There is a big debate

whether or not to break from the hips first, followed by the knees. I'm definitely

not against this, however I feel that this is more dependent on your anatomy

and mobility along with preference. The most important factor in this step is to

ensure that the torso angle stays consistent throughout the entire range

of motion of the exercise. On to the common mistakes. The most common mistake

in the low bar squat is perhaps the good morning squat. This is usually caused

from not having that weight equally distributed along the feet and simply

forcing all your weight onto your heels. To correct, this emphasize step number

three by focusing on three points of contact on your feet at all times and

focus on pushing your legs into the ground to stand up.The second common

mistake is breathing incorrectly and not properly stabilizing the core and lower

back during the squat. This is usually seen when the lifters takes a deep breath

in before the squat and having only their chest rise and expand. This can lead to a

decrease of core stability and possibly compensation on the lower back. The

proper way of stabilizing your spine and core is to practice breathing from the

diaphragm. A great exercise to help you with

diaphragmatic breathing you still lay on the ground with the legs bent to 45

degrees. Place a small light object on your stomach and simply take a deep

breath in and push that object towards the ceiling. This will ensure that you're

breathing deep opposed to breathing from your chest. The last common mistake in

the low bar squat is pushing the elbows back excessively. This is usually seen in

lifters that feel like you need to sit backwards into a squat and compensate by

pushing the elbows backwards to create a stronger shelf. Pushing the elbows too

far back can also cause excessive forward lean and throw the entire border path

off. To correct, this focus on having the elbows parallel to your torso or slightly

backwards throughout the entire range of motion. This will ensure that the barbell

has a strong enough shelf to sit on. If you do have issues keeping your elbows

parallel to the torso, improving your shoulder and thoracic mobility with

different stretches and mobilizations can also help. If you enjoyed the video,

My Football Boot Collection! - Duration: 5:35.

Hey everyone and welcome to a new video!

Today's video is about football boots, cleats or whatever you want to call them.

I've been interested in football boots since I was a kid.

I was always looking for new drops on the internet.

The boot stack has grown quite big during the years.

Today I'll show you all my adidas boots.

I've got a challenge for you: try to count how many boots you see in this video. Leave a comment down below.

The first pair is....

Predator.. Predator 18.1.

I have two colourways. This is brand new. We tested these with Mika Väyrynen.

I haven't used them yet, but these have been on my feet a few times.

Good boot and the Predator line itself just has to be respected.

Next up, a new boot. Nemeziz 17.1.

As you can see, I have three colorways.

I've used these the most. Quite a lot actually.

Dangerous looking boot. Works well!

Then maybe my favourite boot, X 17.1.

Three colourways. I've used these the most.

Smooth upper and a close feeling on the ball.

Simply a great boot. They fit my feet really well.

Here's three pairs of the ACE 17.1.

I have orange, turquoise/blue and for the Finnish people a white/blue pair with a bit of pink.

Then, an indoor shoe. No studs no matter how you look.

Copa Tango 17.1.

I've used these for street and freestyle football.

It's a leather shoe and really comfortable. I've enjoyed using them.

Let's continue with indoor shoes.

Now I have to remember the name. ACE Tango 17+ purecontrol.

I think I got it right. The funny thing is that they don't have laces.

This boot brings me many good memories. X 16.1.

I used to use these a lot. Good boot.

I used them so much they molded to my feet perfectly.

The cat is on the table and it's name is ACE 16.1.

They can only look good with white, black and gold.

Then I have a leather indoor shoe. ACE 16.3.

I've used these a lot back in the days.

The ones with sharp eyes and boot nerds like me might have noticed that I'm showing older and older boots.

This is the first ACE ever made, ACE 15.1.

Then... this is an interesting boot.

This isn't the original colourway of the X 15.1.

A couple of years back I painted these and they turned out pretty cool.

I didn't quite work though, because the paint started to rip off. At least I had fun.

The boots are getting older and older.

Now I have a Predator Instinct of the legendary Predator line.

These are true predators. Just look at them.

They look just like predators. When you shoot you know it almost breaks the net.

This is an interesting boot. One of the lightest boots ever made, F50 adizero crazylight.

They really are crazy light. You don't really even feel them when you put them on.

That's not all. We get to enjoy one more classic.

Predator Powerswerve.

The funny thing is that you got two insoles with the boots.

One was nothing special but the other had lead in in.

You can see it moving.

The point of it was to make the boot heavier. Maybe more power to the shot.

The idea of the boots has changed a lot.

Back then they made the boots heavier and nowadays the boots are pretty much as light as possible.

They've come a long way.

That's all. If you were able to count how many boots I have, leave a comment below.

We'll see how many of you got it right.

If you enjoyed, give a thumbs up, comment and subscribe.

See you next time, bye!

Lessons from the Ranch Life - Duration: 10:51.

Hi I'm Mike and I'm Erin, every day on the ranch is a chance to learn something,

and being a rancher or a farmer is not only a job but a way of life.

Today we get to share with you some of the lessons we learned from the ranch, on our

Wyoming life.

Only a few years ago both Erin and I sat at a desk, filing budget reports, filling out

time cards and buying chocolate bars from our coworkers' kids.

All that changed when we decided to drop it all and move to Wyoming to live and work on

the family ranch.

Many lessons came on the way, some very hard and we invite you to subscribe and come along

with us as we explore the ranch life and escape the ordinary, through ranching, gardening,

family, ranch style cooking and so much more.

When we came to the ranch all things changed for us, our entire way of thinking.

We had to rebuild ourselves to be better people, different people.

To work for ourselves and be only accountable to ourselves.

It wasn't easy and along the way we learned a lot of lessons.

We were and still are extremely lucky to have been given this opportunity to live this life

and one of the first lessons we learned was…

Be grateful and give back We are lucky, we have a roof over our heads,

the heat is on and we have 3 wonderful kids.

Working on the ranch opened up opportunities for us to serve others, service is a privilege

and never a burden and we do it in many ways.

We provide local vegetables, beef and pork to our community.

Our local Master Gardener group that I'm involved with, helped start a community orchard

in a local park that provides anyone who wants to come pick, an opportunity to enjoy fresh

fruits.

Each year we also donate hundreds of pounds of meat and vegetables through our farmers'

market share the harvest program to our local council of community services.

For us its important to give back and no one should ever be hungry.

Serving others is important and it feels good.

Nothing compares to hard work.

Its something that will never leave you, and its required around here.

If you aren't willing to work you can't survive, its that simple and nothing comes

easy.

Sometimes to accomplish something great you have to take the hard route.

What's the old saying?

nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain and difficulty...

I have never envied a human who led an easy life, but I have envied a great many people

who led difficult lives and led them well.

When someone tells you that you can't do something, prove them wrong

Sometimes I think that when people tell you that you can't do something, maybe, they

are only telling you what they cant do.

A good example for me was when I started winter growing this year.

I planted vegetables in the high tunnel in the hopes of having fresh veggies this year

at our winter farmers markets.

Some people said it couldn't be done, but it didn't stop me.

We have had vegetables that we have gotten through -15-degree weather.

I'm not an I told you so kind of person, but it does make me feel good each and every

harvest this winter.

The importance of farming and ranching and Agriculture in General

Before we came to the ranch we didn't give two thoughts about where our food came from,

it came from the grocery store.

Eggs came from cardboard cartons, beef was on little Styrofoam plates with cellophane

wrappers.

I even used to be able to eat a steak at a restaurant, now I'm spoiled.

All humans depend on agriculture for food, world wide agriculture employs almost 45%

of the working population, although that is only 2% in the US and get this in some parts

of Asia and Africa its over 80% of the labor force that is engaged in agriculture.

Even with just those simple statistics, its easy for anyone to see its important, but

for families engaged in it, its much more than that.

Hope for the best and plan for the worst Over the last five years we have had 3 of

those in drought, that means we were unable to put up hay for the animals to eat over

the winter, or only able to put up very little.

We had to buy hay from outside sources for sometimes as much as 3 times what it costs

us to produce our own.

That means cutting costs everywhere and being prepared to do so.

Every year we are optimistic for a good hay crop, healthy calves, rain, good prices at

auction, because being positive helps us see new opportunities, grow and learn and keep

moving.

Being negative or pessimistic, doesn't achieve much.

Respect Over the years I have learned to respect everyone

and everything.

Our elders, other people, no matter their occupation, the land and the animals.

Without those that came before us, none of this would be here, the good and the bad of

course.

If you give respect you get respect, you can't disrespect the animals or the land or others

and think they are going to respect you.

It just doesn't work that way, that's one lesson we learned quick.

Build you project list, but don't let it run your life

We all have jobs to do, we all have commitments and deadlines.

It doesn't matter what you do, you deal with them.

Mike has a project list that grows longer everyday but I constantly have to remind him

that if it were life or death, it wouldn't be on the list.

It would already be done.

Stop and breathe, smell the roses or the manure depending on the season.

Set Goals Along those same lines it is important to

set goals.

Every day we have a goal for what both of us want to get done.

We sit each morning and have our coffee and talk about our days, our plans and how we

can work together to get them done and some goals are bigger than others.

Erin is always planning on expanding her farmers market business, on the ranch we are trying

new things in feeding strategies, animal nutrition and new tools to make things better.

Goals help you believe in yourself, they give you a direction and a reason to get up early

every morning and go to bed late at night.

Just like a map, goals help you get to your destination faster than just sailing through

life aimlessly.

Be a problem solver Its easy to be a problem identifier.

To look at a problem and point it out.

It's much harder to be a problem solver.

Solving problems is something that comes up constantly on the ranch, many times there

are easier solutions, but the easier they are the more they usually cost and one portion

of being a problem solver on the ranch is knowing the value of a dollar.

Just like in the fields, everywhere a weed is growing there could be grass growing, and

everywhere that we spend a dollar that we didn't need to is taking away from someplace

that dollar could be spent better.

Eventually the future of the ranch could come down to one dollar, or one problem and we

better be able to solve it.

Don't apologize for doing what you do Last but not least is something that we didn't

learn or even really have to experience before we made our leap onto YouTube.

We do what we do because we love what we do, it may not have started that way.

The first few years we were here on the ranch were very hard and full of self-doubt.

We didn't think we were going to make it.

Dealing with a totally alien situation and job, to family to the stress of giving up

all that we knew for something we didn't know anything about.

The learning curve was steep, but we took on the challenge and it became who we are.

Others may not agree with what we do or how we do it and that's perfectly ok.

How else do you learn unless you see a different way of doing something and take that for your

own.

We don't apologize for being who we are, or what we do.

We support our family, we provide food for thousands of other families in one way or

another and we are very proud to do it.

Now that I think about it there are probably hundreds of lessons that we have learned from

being here on the ranch and if I had to nail it down to one that could sum it all up and

pick the most valuable to me, it would have to be to own your mistakes, for me it's

the quickest way to learn.

If you don't own up to them then you don't learn.

And I have had some mistakes that are embarrassing, others that cost money and some that were

just stupid, but I take each one and grow from it, and hope not to make it again.

Thanks for joining us today.

Its been fun, we rarely get to sit and make videos together, it always seems like we are

running in 5 different directions, sometimes we just pass each other in the middle of the

day and wave, I'm not kidding, its happened many times.

Be sure to subscribe for more from the ranch life, we've got new videos for you 3 times

week…garden season is getting ready to fire, calving is just around the corner and that

means spring, hopefully.

And more lessons to come, if anyone tells you they know it all, there's still one

big lesson they are really missing.

Until next time, have a great week and thanks for joining us in Our Wyoming Life

And people don't want to do that

The more you talk, the more you lose

Use the tool, don't be a salesperson

You like Desperate Duncan

Right hey, Desperate Duncan, don't be a Desperate Duncan

Or don't be a Needy Nelly

Anyway, sharing some few things with you

I used to, have a job just like many of you

My first job, first job ever the HR guy told me

To go on in there I think this was, during when they giving out raises

I was excited, so I go in there the guy hands me an envelope

Says hey-

You got to keep this confidential

And I looked at the envelope, took one look at my salary increase

I said oh don't worry about it, I'm embarrassed and won't be telling anyone either

Speaking about money by the, whenever need money, need a loaner

Borrows from, know who you should borrow money from

Borrow money from people who are pessimist

Why?

Cause they never expect it back

You like that one right, you like that one

I bet you, make that contact list, the list of pessimist

All right maybe they won't join your business but lend you money

All right anyway, let's go to today's question of the day

Norm from New Mexico asks-

How does the new Facebook newsfeed changes affect our business?

Ah yes, great question Facebook newsfeed changes

Facebook has made, if you wonder what- made some major changes in January 10th I think was

January 11th in 2018 the beginning of the year

Big, big changes

Some people were expecting it happen

So let me talk about what the changes are, right

The changes, main change in Facebook

There's been a lot of negative PR about Facebook

You know how it's affecting fake news, or people spending too much time with it

Even recently someone's suing Apple

Saying that you should be, or suing or whatever it is

A lot of negative about social media is bad for the kids

They're not being responsible, smartphones for kids

So a lot of backlash

So Facebook, they did some things that really are big changes

That may hurt them short term a little bit, but it was much better for them long-term

And they want to keep people using it, so they've heard a lot of complaints as well

So Facebook is really going back to the roots, where-

They want to encourage you to post stuff about your friends, your family, that's how it started right

But lately it's been dawned by a lot of news, media

And they want to get rid of that media

So this is a, mostly affects media companies

And also affects network markers, I'll tell you why it's good for network marketers

But basically news publications

I'll give you, here's something to think about

Let me ask, how many times did you think Fox News post it on December 2017

Ok December 2017 I was reading somewhere, take a guess

500 times? You know I think you're supposed to post three times a day right

With DMO

But fox news, their news publication

They're, they supposedly

published like forty-nine thousand times just in one month

Ok I think the numbers from 45 - 49,000, something like this highest 49,000

In one month

And so that is how these new publications like LA Times, CNN

They're driving people to their websites, because people are not going to websites

They're using social media to do that

But Facebook doesn't want, they have discovered that

Facebook, if you're interacting your friends and family, it makes people happy

If you're reading news, of course we know we shouldn't be reading news anyway right

It makes people really down and depressed

So they're removing, their making it harder for news publications, media to post on Facebook

So this is immediately gonna make an impact on them

Now, so why?

I mean people actually gonna be spending less time on Facebook now because people

on Facebook after you interacted with friends you're wasting too much time on

media they're coming that off right

But how does it helps Facebook

It helps Facebook even though people are spending less time

People be using it more right

For more things that make them happier

So media, the marketing will be affected

They want, I want to emphasize one thing Facebook wants to do

Is to increase people-to-people interaction

They want people to people interaction

Okay people to people.

So for example a news publication posting a news article

That's not people to people

That's people to media right, people to news, they don't want that

Another thing that's gonna be drastic big game-changer

We talked about previous episode, especially for network marketers is

Pages are not worth it anymore

So pages, like Facebook page

Unless you're a big leader, you want to create a brand

It's not really worth it anymore to do a Facebook page

Because Facebook wants people to people not people to page

Right, so you putting all the content up there

They don't want it, so that means if you're putting a post on it

The chance of people seeing a feed already

It is very very low already I think it's

Probably one, to three, five percent

It's gonna be even dramatically lower right now

Because they want interaction

So they want to go back to the roots where

you are posting stories, posting about friends and family, tagging

The silly cat, your dog, they want to create that feeling a good feeling okay

so there's no point to doing a page. The only would reason why you would want to

do a page is if you plan to put money on a page to advertise the post

If you don't have a budget to advertise the page you can kill your page

Is really not worth it anymore because Facebook it's not going to show the stuff

But if you do have money you want to advertise, you can consider

But even, now how it's gonna affect advertising we don't know but we just

know that Facebook is very vague about it now

if you look at the official statement release you can go online

They have a lot of lawyers go through

everything actual language of it but just know they want people to people

interaction that's what Mark Zuckerberg wants okay

so how does it affect network marketers?

It's awesome for network marketers

it's thumbs up okay

thumbs up, why is it thumbs up?

Because

think about your prospects

now if you put good content out there

your prospect will see it, they won't be distracted by the news

they actually get to see your post more the chance to think about less

news, in fact your friend, you providing value they will see your stuff more

So it's less news less distractions, and there's gonna be more connections you make

Right because the news feeds limited, your prospect has limited time

they get to see more of you and less of the other negative stuff

so what are we the next steps for you what would you do right let's talk about it

Next steps, next steps action steps for you to take advantage of this changes

number one focus on content that engages focus on content that engages

not just something that posting

ask them for comments, asking, ask a question

by the way they can be also, very strict about comment baiting, or like baiting

"If you like this I'll give you a prize, if you like this..."

You definitely cannot do that any more and if you are doing it please stop

That's consider spamming

okay by spamming someone else, asked, a coaching client asked me this question recently

if you have an important post and

tagging someone who's not in that post or not in that picture is it bad?

that's absolutely a 100% bad, please stop doing it because it's considered spamming

And when you do that Facebook knows it because they know who's in the picture

What they'll end up doing is even if someone doesn't report you, remove the tag

they'll start lowering your score

so your real prospect will stop seeing your stuff

so stop tagging people, don't be like like baiting engagement, engagement bating

okay so focus on content, uh and what do you focus on?

things that inspires, educates and entertains

that's the content you want to create right

And here's a tip, we talked about in the previous episode, go to an episode 14

we went into detail- how to do that

But real quick, real quick reminders

something that gets people to engage and comment

Is share stuff, share your story

With a vulnerability, right people don't want to follow superhuman

people want to follow real people, share story

so for example if you are have a weight loss product

You can say hey, and you shared a story you had a good experience

don't say "hey I lost like ten pounds on this"

share what happened

Like how long did you struggle with your weight, what have you done

how does it make you feel, how did you use to feel

Get into details of the story

People like to follow that

you use some emotion cons, things like that but important thing is

Be vulnerable, we all have, think about all your things are going for you

there was a time that it wasn't going that well

bring it up, the more you open up, the more people like that

And because people get inspired

Talk about inspire, educates, entertains

two ways- number one to get inspired

When they see your change and also they get inspired when they see you're in the process of changing

right the fact that you may not be there, but you are working to be there

you're doing something about it that inspires people as well

right, so again these Facebook changes are very exciting for network marketers

the main thing is you your prospects will have less distractions

Gonna be seeing less news, less stuff from pages

if you have a business page, unless you plan to advertise, forget it don't worry, don't use it

stop wasting time on it because Facebook wants people to people interaction

those are the main things

so go out there, another helpful episode is episode 14
