Dear Men, Pursue Her! - Duration: 2:51.
This time last year, I met a fun and confident man striving for virtue.
Not long after our first meeting, he courageously walked my direction one night at a party and
asked if he could take me on a date.
He said, "Hey, I think you're amazing.
Can I take you out on a date next weekend?"
In one sentence, he defined clearly his intentions, and not for one moment was I left
wondering where he stood.
With the simple response of "Yes," he asked permission to call me later that week to secure
a day and let me know what he had planned for the evening.
His initiation was attractive and exciting.
In that simple moment, a man made me feel what no other had before in such a short amount of time.
Honored, safe, and secure by his bravery and clarity.
I wasn't used to this type of interaction with men.
Which could be the reason I found it to be so unique and refreshing.
My experience is similar to the majority of women in our culture.
I've had countless women tell me how many guy friends they have,
yet they've never been asked out on a proper date.
In my own experience, it is simply more common for men to reach out by texting
or Facebook message to "hang out,"
or even ask me out, than calling and asking for a date.
All too often this can leave women feeling like,
"What is wrong with me?
Am I not worth a greater risk?"
In no way am I implying that the weight of all intentionality should fall on the shoulders of men.
But I do believe there is something naturally exciting about a man stepping out
and risking rejection to express interest in a woman.
A woman is made for pursuit.
Regardless of how she feels about the gentleman pursuing, there is a joy that comes from knowing
she is special, unique, and worthy of such a risk.
Women, I'm sorry if you've felt unseen or uncherished in this way.
My best advice for you is to ask for clarity where it's needed.
I'll never forget a time I asked a man who was pursuing me what his intentions were.
He was able to offer clarity and told me how honored he was that I asked.
Oftentimes women need more clarity in our relationships than men.
It can become a way in which we can challenge men to love us with even greater courage.
Men, you have what it takes.
I believe that you're sold the lie that you need to love a woman in radical gestures
in order to win her affection.
Rather, the smallest moments of clarity and intentionality make the greatest difference.
This is not to expose your weakness, but this is a call from a sister
to understand that your simple words of clarity, intentional pursuit, and follow-through in communication
can actually make a woman feel loved.
You are needed. Be brave.

Fitness YouTube Social Media Interaction Gender Differences - Duration: 5:04.
Differences between male and female youtubers in interaction with their subscriber base.
This video is fitness related, but then again, it's very different since it's all about gender differences.
You might fiend this an interesting, but very sensitive topic!
Here we go!
Hi, guys, This is dr.Fox from the Fox's Power Basement.
Please, like and subscribe.
When you look up 'fitness gender differences' on youtube, we find videos on gender differences
in anatomy, muscle development, training and workouts, nutritional needs and reasons why
people work out.
But what we are really talking about today is actually 'Social Media Gender Differences'.
Research shows that men are more likely to look for love and business on social media,
while women tend to go after games and knowledge.
We are going to try to narrow this broad subject down to direct interaction between fitness
male youtubers and their subscriber base (mostly men) and comparable female youtube groups.
From experience, and from what I hear from other guys and girls on youtube and facebook,
I dare to conclude that their is a big difference between female youtubers and their (mostly)
female fans and viewers, and the male youtubers and their followers.
I'll give you one illustrative example.
My wife follows different youtube channels, on different topics, for example on yoga,
cooking, knitting, and music.
Whenever in the recent past, she asked a question, wrote a comment or compliment, she never got
any reply from the female youtubers.
Some of these channels are small, others have over millions of subscribers, this does not
seem to make any difference.
Whenever I have reached out to one of the male fitness youtube channel owners, almost
always I have got a prompt response, being very friendly and helpful, whether if they
have a small or over a million subscriber base.
My experience is with male fitness youtubers only, that one for one all give me the impression
that we lifters all support each other, make it a brotherhood, almost a fraternity of sorts.
I recently started this channel, and of course my subscriber base is still very limited,
but the guys that already started to follow me, are already reaching out, being very supportive
and friendly.
Is this difference between male-male interaction and female-female interaction as in my example
really gender related, or is it maybe rather channel topic specific?
I do not dare to answer this question.
Maybe the female-female interaction on the female fitness youtube channels is comparable
to the male fitness youtube channels.
Please share your comments, experiences and thoughts on this matter.
I am very curious.
Let's not forget that there are huge differences in ways women communicate and ways men communicate
for all different reasons, not in the least having different kinds of brain functioning,
due to the much higher levels of testosteron during the forming of the male brains.
So I am in no way or form attacking one gender or the other, just wondering why I see these
differences we have just talked about.
One of my experiences that I also wanted to share is the comparison with the real world
work environment differences between men colleagues amongst each other, and female colleagues
amongst each other.
In the past I have worked in a lot of different work places, almost always work environments
with more female than male co-workers together.
The reason for this, as you might know, is that I work in the health care, very often
with a lot of nurses and female doctors.
Comparing youtube realm with real world work environment, I dare to see a lot of similarities
how male colleagues interact with each other,
and how female colleagues interact with each other.
Male colleagues are mostly very friendly and helpful amongst each other, where female colleagues
tend to be each others concurrent, behaving
in a less friendly and more obvious competitive manner.
It is my experience that men colleagues or dislike and neglect each other, or just become
good friends over time.
So, once again, please share with me in the comments your experiences and thoughts on
this maybe sensitive topic.
Thank you for watching, and remember,
always be friendly!
I hope you enjoyed this video.
