Waching daily Feb 15 2018

Hi, this is Diana!

Bright Knowledge Instants give you one thing

you can do today to move your creativity

ahead.

We're close to Valentine's

Day right now.

So I wanted to speak to you about

the heart

and the role that it plays in

our creativity.

One of the greatest obstacles

to creativity is fear.

It's certainly been something that I struggled

with mightily

with performance anxiety.

Fear

greatly inhibits our creativity.

It may temporarily

motivate us,

but it won't be a lasting,

sustainable type of creativity.

It won't really bring out our very best

work, our most transcendent,

healing work.

Coming from the heart instead

- that's where it's at!

That is what will override

fear.

There can't be fear if you're coming

from a heart place,

from a place of love.

So how to actually do that in

your life?

Well, often the quickest

way to access heart energy

is to feel gratitude.

When you feel grateful,

you don't feel fearful for

that moment.

In fact, you're completely centered

in your heart energy!

When we're in heart energy,

we are literally courageous.

The word courage comes from the Latin

root for heart.

So it's all connected:

the love,

the gratitude,

the courage.

These are the mighty antidotes

to fear! Fear has

just no power in

the face of them.

So this Valentine's Day

I would love you to cultivate

your heart energy by thinking

about something that you are

grateful for.

It might be something that you have,

someone that you are,

someone who's in your life,

something that's happened to you.

It could be absolutely anything

that you feel grateful

for, that lifts your heart.

As you feel your heart lifting,

really engage

with that heart energy

and let it expand.

At that moment,

you become an incredibly courageous

person,

primed for creativity.

Primed to inspire other people

as well, which is a great form of creativity

in itself!

So Happy Valentine's Day

to you,

and let's all cultivate

our heart energy through

our gratitude.

I am grateful for you

- you lift my heart up.

Happy Valentine's Day

Am I Represented In Books? // BOOK TAG - Duration: 9:59.

I was just talking about YA books and now I'm here?

I will never get off my soap box.

[intro music]

Hello, I'm Jackson Bird and today I am doing the Representation Book Tag!

I was tagged by Iris Moon, who started the tag, and whose channel you should totally

subscribe to and check out.

They make really great queer and bookish videos.

So, if you are here watching this, you'll probably love their videos too.

Now this tag is all about seeing yourself represented in media and in books, which is

SO important and is like my number one issue because (clapping) if we don't see ourselves

represented, how do we know that we exist?

And we have potential?

And there are other people like us?

And how do we learn about other people who are different than us and get to empathize

with them and understand them on a complex level.

These are all things we need more of in the world and the way we get more is by having

responsible representation in lots of media.

So, on with the tag!

Number one: Introduce yourself!

What are your identities?

I'm Jack.

I am a queer bisexual trans man.

My pronouns are he/him/his.

I'm also a white, able-bodied American.

I am 27.

I am a Texan New Yorker… and those are all the identities I care to share on the internet.

(ding sound)

2.

What was the first book or media in which you felt represented?

So as a trans kid growing up and not really knowing that trans people existed, I was given

a lot of "girl books" to read and I didn't really identify with most of the girl characters

in those books.

However, I do remember in like first or second grade I found the Amber Brown series by Paula

Danziger and I loved those books because Amber Brown was more of tomboy and her best friend

was a boy and I was just able to relate to her moreso than any other character I'd been

exposed to in books yet.

Or, in anything, at that point.

A little bit later on in my life, the first gay book that I had the courage to check out

from the public library was Geography Club by Brent Hartinger, which was a YA book about

kids who start an LGBTQ+ club at their high school, but they call it the Geography Club

so that people don't know what it really is.

I was so paranoid that people would like catch me reading this book.

Like, they would somehow figure out what the book was about and they would make fun of

me.

Or, send me to a gay conversion camp.

I don't know!

It was Texas.

I was scared.

But fortunately the title of the book served the same purpose as the name of the club in

the book.

So like, no one ever suspected anything.

It was a great decoy.

Also, I just remembered.

Okay, there was a message board for that book, uh like a fan message board by the publisher

or something that I used to actually post on because I loved that book so much.

And the author would post on it a lot too.

And I had like a username and an avatar that were totally ambiguous.

Like they weren't my name or a picture of me or anything.

'Cause, this was 2003.

We didn't do that yet.

But like based on whatever I had said at various points, the author mistook me for a boy and

it was like, one of the best moments of my middle schools life.

Oh, it was so validating.

Little confusing.

But I was so excited by that.

As far as trans media representation…

I mean, I've yet to feel really represented by or like resonate with any fictional trans

characters.

Especially in books.

But even in like movies and tv shows.

I mean there's not like a big pool of trans guys in fictional media to pull from anyways.

And I do get excited and feel a little bit represented when I see trans guy characters

in things like in The O.A. or Transparent, but they don't usually resonate as strongly

for me as like documentaries or memoirs do.

Probably because often times for the fictional ones, cisgender people are controlling the

narrative whereas for memoirs, it's the trans person writing it themselves so they really

get into those small details that really make a difference.

Number three!

Is there a character in your favorite book or genre that represents you?

I mean, I think my favorite book genre is probably transgender nonfiction so, yes it

represents me.

But none of my other favorite genres do.

I like YA novels and mysteries and historical fiction… there's not too many queer trans

guys in those I mean, especially the last two.

Probably the only place that you're going to find trans guys is in YA novels.

But they tend to be straight and they're in high school, which was not my experience.

More on that in a minute.

Number four: What was the worst representation of one of your identities that you have ever

read?

Okay so I haven't read it, but I heard about it and like researched it.

I do want to read it so I can like fully make my own opinion of it, but also UGH, it sounds

like it's going to be painful to read.

It's a book called Adam by Ariel Schrag.

And it is a YA novel about a cisgender teenage boy who goes to stay with his lesbian sister

and ends up crushing on this lesbian cisgender girl.

And because she's obviously not interested in boys, he pretends to be a trans boy so

she'll like him.

What?!

No!

There is – bah!

There are SO MANY things wrong with that!

One, a lesbian should not be interested in a trans boy because he is a BOY.

He is a guy.

Yes, there are complexities where sometimes that happens everyone's like identity is a

lable unto themselves, but like let's stop the narrative that trans guys are just butch

dykes.

Because no.

And also what a douchebag is this cis guy to pretend to be trans in order to get into

the pants a girl who is NOT INTO HIM.

UGH!

Oh, I'd love to give this book the benefit of the doubt, but everything I have read does

not like make this a teaching moment or give it any redeeming qualities.

It's just so probelmatic.

Oh why did it get published?

I know why it got published because there's not enough trans people in publishing and

editing who can shut this kinda thing down.

And that is a problem.

We gotta teach more people.

We gotta get into these positions of power.

We gotta break down the systems that aren't letting us get into these positions of power.

Oh, there's a lot of work to do.

Why – I was just talking about YA books and now I'm here?

I will never get off my soapbox.

Which is probably good because I'm short.

Number five: What is the best representation of your identities that you have ever read?

So, I love Elliot DeLine's writing.

I especially enjoyed this collection of essays, No Poster Boy.

He's a queer trans guy, who transitioned as a young adult, like after high school.

A lot of trans representation in books tends to be like people who always knew they were

trans, and who are straight, and who transitioned in high school.

And none of that applies to me.

So I love reading accounts from people for whom that also doesn't apply and who talk

authentically about confusion and stereotypes and paradoxes and dysphoria and social pressures

from within the community, and all that complex, messy stuff that isn't talked about as much

or nearly as marketable.

And in that category, I'll also recommend uhm Just Add Hormones.

Oh I've got some notes in here.

What is this note?Oh no, it's a page falling out!

Oh that's so sad.

Oh page 155, I don't want to lose you!

Just Add Hormones by Matt Kailey.

Any reading by Matt Kailey.

And also Man Alive by Thomas Page McBee.

Number six: Do you think your identities are misrepresented or underrepresented in the

books that you read?

In the books that I very purposefully and intentionally push myself to read, I'm represented

okay.

In books at large, I feel underrepresented.

Absolutely.

Trans people make up a growing, but still minuscule subsection of literature.

And books about trans people written by trans people, even less.

And then trans books breaching difficult, non assimilationist topics, even less.

So underrepresented.

I feel undrrepresented.

That said, I do have other identities.

Please refer to the beginning of the video.

But being trans is a part of my identity that I crave representation of the most because,

growing up, it wasn't there at all.

And because it is so complex and all-encompassing and neverending and so it's, just it's nice

and comforting to get to read other people's accounts.

And y'know, as I've gone through this tag I think what I've realized is that the best

representations of trans people I've seen, the most realistic, the most responsible,

the most relatable – are the ones created by trans people, whether that be memoirs or

essays or fictional books or youtube videos.

So, if we want to see ourselves represented better, we gotta do it ourselves.

We gotta become writers and publishers and filmmakers and podcasters.

I promise my podcast is coming back.

We've gotta take hold of our narratives and seize the means of production to get them

out there.

So let's all go out there and start creating!

And also, purchasing and amplifying the things created by trans people.

Alright, so as for who I am tagging, they're not all booktubers, but they are people who

sometimes talk bookish things and from whom I'd be really curious to hear the representation

side of things – even if it's more media and less books.

Number one: Ahsante the Artist, who is on the ace spectrum and I would love to hear

more about how an ace feels under represented, as I presume will be the answer.

And next up, Rikki Poynter, who is Deaf and an activist in the D/deaf and hard of hearing

communities.

She's always talking about representation.

So, Rikki, do this tag.

I think it would be awesome.

Third, Rowan Ellis, who is a queer woman who I think will have some very intellectually

stimulating respsonse to these questions.

And fourth, Amanda Finlaw of Fandom Matters, who always has some fan activist-y social

justice-y hot takes on her channel.

Annnd y'know what to throw out some more booktuber-ish people in there, I'm also going to tag Lucy

Moon and Rosianna Rojas.

They might not do this tag, but I think it would be cool if they did so I'ma tag 'em

anyway.

If you are interested in checking out more transgender books, you can watch my Ultimate

Trans Book Recs video and also peruse my always-updating Trans Book Recs shelf on GoodReads.

In the comments, I want to read your answers to these questions!

Or even better, make a video response to this tag and leave the link to it down in the comments.

It might get flagged as spam at first if you have a link in it, but I'll try to keep an

eye on 'em.

Clear 'em through the filter.

If you liked this video, please be sure to give it a thumb's up and share it with people

you think will also enjoy it.

Patreon at patreon.com/jacksonbird, get some of my merch at dftba.com/jacksonbird, annnnd

Thank you so much for watching.

I'll see ya next time!

Trump threatens 'reciprocal tax' on imports to balance trade - Duration: 2:25.

Trump threatens 'reciprocal tax' on imports to balance trade

President Trump on Monday said he plans to introduce a proposal in the coming weeks for

a reciprocal tax on imports, fulfilling a promise he made early on in his presidential

campaign.

"We cannot continue to be taken advantage of by other countries," the president told

attendees during a White House event on infrastructure.

"We cannot continue to let people come into our country and rob us blind and charge us

tremendous tariffs and taxes and we charge them nothing."

"We're going to be doing very much a reciprocal tax and you'll be hearing about that during

the week and during the coming months," he said.

Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, who was also present for the event, endorsed the president's

proposal and said the U.S. could benefit from a reciprocal tax because "we really have to

claw it back" from other countries.

During his White House bid, Trump regularly threatened to implement a tax on imports from

countries like Mexico and China to combat unfair trade practices.

Under World Trade Organization and NAFTA rules, countries can impose tariffs for those reasons,

but the rules also require tariffs to stay below committed levels, even if some countries'

tariffs are allowed to be higher than others.

"When you say I'm going to charge a 10 percent or 20 percent border tax, everyone goes crazy,

because they like free trade," the president told Fox Business last April.

"But when you sat 'reciprocal tax,' nobody can get angry," he added, describing his proposal

as "whatever you charge, we're charging."

Celeb Couples You Completely Forgot About - Duration: 4:49.

While A-list status may secure one's place in the pop culture archives, the same cannot

be said for celebrity relationships.

From the short-lived to the long-lasting, no romance is safe from the powerful effects

of time.

Here are some high-profile pairings that got lost in the history books.

Cameron Diaz and Matt Dillon

Back in the late 1990s, Cameron Diaz strutted around Hollywood with Matt Dillon.

According to CBS News, Diaz and Dillon, who starred together in the 1998 comedy There's

Something About Mary, dated for three years before calling it quits.

Speaking to Parade magazine in 2006, Dillon revealed that his romance with Diaz made a

lasting impact on him, saying,

"I fell in love.

It's a very powerful thing when you feel that way about somebody."

"Cameron was a muse for me.

I hadn't been in any deep emotional relationships."

Sarah Jessica Parker and Robert Downey Jr.

In the 1980s, actors Sarah Jessica Parker and Robert Downey Jr. were a celeb couple

to watch.

The two stars, who met on the set of the 1984 thriller Firstborn, were together for the

better part of a decade.

Alas, they called the whole thing off in 1991, primarily due to his battle with substance

abuse.

In an 2008 interview with Parade, Downey explained,

"I liked to drink, and I had a drug problem, and that didn't jibe with Sarah Jessica, because

it is the furthest thing from what she is.

She provided me a home and understanding.

She tried to help me.

She was so miffed when I didn't get my act together."

"It, I think, taught me how I love.

And, um…

What's the difference between loving and taking care of people?"

Julia Roberts and Kiefer Sutherland

After meeting on the set of their 1990 movie Flatliners, Julia Roberts and Kiefer Sutherland

started dating and got engaged, but just days before their would-be wedding, Roberts reportedly

broke it off.

A source told People,

"It was Julia who called the wedding off.

She has wanted to do it for some time but didn't know if she could find the courage."

Sutherland later admitted that it was probably for the best.

"She was arguably the most famous woman in the world and this wedding that was supposed

to be something between the two of us became something so big."

Tara Reid and Carson Daly

Back when Carson Daly was the face of MTV's Total Request Live, he fell in love with the

actress of the moment, American Pie's Tara Reid.

The two young stars soon got engaged, but split in 2001 before walking down the aisle.

More than a decade later, Daly told Elle magazine,

"To some extent, I dodged a bullet.

I was getting serious about my career, and she wanted to shoot movies and just party

in her time off.

That didn't work for me."

The breakup reportedly took a toll on Reid, who told CosmoGirl,

"I lost my appetite — I was numb.

I literally thought I couldn't breathe."

"Every restaurant, every food, every song reminded me of him."

Katy Perry and Travie McCoy

Pop superstar Katy Perry started dating Gym Class Heroes rapper Travie McCoy in 2006 and

appeared as his love interest in his video for "Cupid's Chokehold."

According to People, McCoy gave Perry a diamond promise ring before they headed out on the

Warped Tour together.

But months after he made Perry that promise, the couple called it quits.

In a 2012 Behind the Music special, McCoy elaborated on their breakup, stating,

"I chose drugs over our relationship.

As things started taking off for her, the more I started to doubt my role in her life.

There were times I felt like a stepping ladder."

Perry later released the song "Circle the Drain," allegedly about her relationship with

McCoy and his substance abuse.

"You can't change someone.

Someone won't be changed unless they want to be changed."

Brad Pitt and Juliette Lewis

Before he was associated with either Jennifer Aniston or Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt dated

actress Juliette Lewis.

Fresh from her breakout role in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Lewis started dating Pitt,

and the two stayed together for a few years before breaking up in 1993.

Lewis told the Daily Mail in 2010,

"I was in my high-school years and it was a wonderful, loving relationship with a fun,

smart guy.

Then it was over and he went on to become incredibly famous."

Courteney Cox and Michael Keaton

During her run on the ultra-successful sitcom Friends, Courteney Cox spent her days away

from set getting hot and heavy with movie star Michael Keaton.

The Hollywood icons dated for more than five years before going their separate ways in

1995.

Unlike a lot of other celeb couples, Cox and Keaton remained on good terms following their

split.

Cox told People magazine,

"It's the most important relationship I've ever had, and I think he's the most wonderful

person I've ever met.

We still love each other."

Macaulay Culkin and Mila Kunis

No one expected to see That '70s Show star Mila Kunis cozying up to Home Alone child

star Macaulay Culkin, but that's exactly what happened in the 2000s.

The two stuck together for about eight years before going their separate ways, according

to Page Six.

Though Kunis and Culkin dated for nearly a decade, at that point in her life the Black

Swan actress apparently never thought about marriage, telling BlackBook in 2009,

"...not to say that I don't believe in it, but it's just not something that's important

to me."

Years later, Kunis' marriage to That '70s Show co-star Ashton Kutcher has since overshadowed

her past love with Culkin.

WE'VE HAD A LOT OF INTERESTING, SURPRISING STATE

LEGISLATIVE SPECIAL ELECTIONS OVER THE PAST YEAR AND A HALF,

AND WE HAVE ANOTHER ONE FOR YOU, THIS ONE DOWN IN FLORIDA --

THAT'S A NICE, HEALTHY WIN IN A STATE LEGISLATIVE RACE --

SHE OUTPERFORMED DONALD TRUMP, BUT STILL, A HEALTHY LEAD

FOR A GUY WHO LOST THE PUP THEIR VOTE.

SO YOU MIGHT THINK WHO IS

HER SUCCESSOR?

WHICH REPUBLICAN WILL GET IT?

THINK AGAIN --

FLIPPING A REPUBLICAN WIN BY 60 POINTS TO A SEVEN POINT

DEMOCRATIC WIN.

IT'S NOT AS HIGH IN SOME OF THE SPECIAL ELECTIONS

WE SEEN BUT IT'S STILL A NICE HEALTHY REVERSAL.

CREDIT TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO DESERVE IT INCLUDING SISTER

DISTRICT, A GROUP THAT ENCOURAGES LIBERALS TO DONATE TO

DEMOCRATS IN TIGHT LEGISLATIVE RACES, WONDERFUL.

WE WILL TRY TO

GET THEM ON REBEL HEADQUARTERS, I LOVE PEOPLE FIGHTING THE GOOD

FIGHT AT THE GRASSROOTS LEVEL AND MAKING A JOINT DIFFERENCE.

I

ALSO WANT TO CONGRATULATE ALL THE PEOPLE WHO WERE AMPED UP TO

GO VOTE, ESPECIALLY IN THESE RACES, ESPECIALLY IN PRIMARIES.

YOU'D BE SHOCKED AT WHAT A DIFFERENCE YOU CAN MAKE IF YOU

JUST GO OUT AND VOTE.

SO MANY TIMES IN GENERAL ELECTIONS WE

GET A HOBSON'S CHOICE, THIS CORPORATE PERSON OR THAT

CORPORATE PERSON.

AND THEN THEY WILL TELL YOU PRIMARIES, DON'T

WASTE YOUR MONEY OR RESOURCES, A LOT OF THINGS TO DISCOURAGE YOU.

THEN THERE ARE RACES LIKE THIS WHICH ARE GENERAL ELECTIONS AND

YOU'VE GOT A GOOD DEMOCRAT VERSUS A CORPORATE REPUBLICAN

AND THEY DISCOURAGE YOU BY SAYING DON'T BOTHER.

THEY WON BY

16 POINTS, THERE IS NO WAY.

WELL, HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE

SEEN NOW 23 POINTS SWINGS, 39 POINT SWINGS, ETC, ALL OVER THE

COUNTRY?

DON'T LET THEM KEEP YOU DOWN.

WE ARE TRYING TO MAKE IT

SIMPLE, PRIMARIES ARE COMING FOR ALL OF THE HOUSE AND ONE THIRD

OF THE SENATE, TYTNETWORK.COM/REGISTER, THAT

GETS YOU A PLACE TO WHERE YOU CAN ENTER YOUR STATE, THE

OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT WEBSITE, WE REDIRECT YOU THERE, OUR URL

IS EASIER, THERE'S IS A MESS, GO TO TYTNETWORK.COM/REGISTER ,

FIND OUT HOW TO REGISTER IN YOUR STATE, AND FIND OUT WHEN THE

PRIMARIES ARE AND VOTE IN THEM.

YOU CAN AND HAVE MADE A

DIFFERENCE.

IN FLORIDA WE ARE STARTING TO TAKE BACK THAT LEDGE

LATER.

WE HAVE A LOT OF WORK AHEAD OF US, BECAUSE BETWEEN

2009 AND 2016 THE DEMOCRATS LOST OVER 1000 SEAT AT THE STATE

LEVEL.

NOW WE ARE TAKING THEM BACK ONE BY ONE.

GET OUT THERE

AND FIGHT, BECAUSE RIGHT NOW IN OHIO SO-CALLED MODERATE

REPUBLICAN JOHN KASICH HAS CLOSE DOWN EVERY CLINIC IN THE STATE.

NOW YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO CHOOSE, BUT NOT IN OHIO.

IF YOU ARE RICH

OR NEAR THE BORDER MAYBE YOU CAN GO OUTSIDE THE STATE.

HOW DOES

HE DO THAT?

THEY VOTE, YOU DON'T VOTE.

THEN AGAIN THE LEGISLATURE

AND THE GOVERNOR AND PASS ANYTHING THEY LIKE.

IN SOUTH

DAKOTA, OVER 70% OF THE VOTERS, REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS ALIKE,

VOTED FOR A BALLOT INITIATIVE TO TAKE CORRUPTION OUT OF THE

SYSTEM, TO BAN LOBBYIST GIFTS, AND THE REPUBLICANS CAME IN AND

SAID I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR BALLOT INITIATIVE, YOU THINK

THAT'S DEMOCRACY?

AND THEY RIPPED IT UP AND THEY SAID WE

ARE GOING TO DO IT, THEN THEY TOOK A PICTURE AND BRAGGED AND

SHOWED THE GIFTS THEY GOT FROM LOBBYISTS.

THEY RUBBED IT IN

YOUR FACE.

AND THERE ARE PLENTY OF CORRUPT DEMOCRATS, DON'T VOTE

FOR CORPORATE DEMOCRATS EITHER, BUT ALMOST ALL THE REPUBLICANS

ARE PRO-CORRUPTION.

THEY SAY YES, I WANT THE LOBBYIST MONEY,

THEIR GIFTS, THEIR DONATIONS.

I WILL CALL IT FREE SPEECH FROM A

CORPORATION WHICH IS A PERSON.

AND THE GERRYMANDERING.

AND I JUST WANT TO TAKE IT.

SO DON'T LET THEM DO IT TO YOU.

GO OUT THERE AND KICK YOUR ASS.

THEY JUST DID IT IN FLORIDA.

A

SEAT OUTSIDE OF ST.

LOUIS THAT WAS REPUBLICAN, DEMOCRATS GOT

IT.

A SEAT IN WISCONSIN, DEEPLY REPUBLICAN, NOW DEMOCRATIC.

GO

VOTE, YOU WOULD BE SHOCKED AT WHAT YOU CAN DO INCLUDING

CHANGING THE WORLD.

IT'S PROBABLY TOO LATE FOR THIS CYCLE, BUT ONCE YOU

REGISTER TO VOTE LOOK INTO RUNNING.

IF YOU CAN DO IT NOW IS

EXACTLY WHEN YOU SHOULD DO IT.

WATCH REBEL HEADQUARTERS.

THE PEOPLE THAT ARE RUNNING ACROSS

THE COUNTRY RIGHT NOW, THEY ALREADY MADE THAT DECISION,

HOWEVER LONG AGO, THEY ARE AMAZING.

THEY ARE THE MOST REAL

PEOPLE YOU HAVE EVER SEEN IN YOUR LIFE, AND THEY GAVE UP

THEIR JOBS, THERE COMFORTABLE LIFE ARE NOT COMFORTABLE LIFE,

DEPENDING ON WHAT JOB THEY HAD -- ONE OF THE WOMEN WAS WORKING

IN A CHICKEN FACTORY PUTTING DIAPERS ON CHICKENS, THAT WAS

THE JOB SHE HAD IN WEST VIRGINIA, SHE'S GOT TO DO WHAT

SHE'S GOT TO DO.

I DO THAT BUT JUST AS A HOBBY.

BETTER THAN SOME OTHER PEOPLE'S HOBBIES.

ANYWAY, THEY

ARE RUNNING FOR OFFICE, THEY NEED SMALL DONATIONS, EVEN IF

YOU AREN'T GOING TO RUN GO VOLUNTEER AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

AND IF YOU WANT TO WATCH THOSE INTERVIEWS,

YOUTUBE.COM/TYTPOLITICS, OR BECOME A MEMBER AND YOU GET PART

OF THAT AS PART OF ALL OF OUR SHOWS, AND THAT'S OF COURSE

HOW TO MAKE EDIBLE ARRANGEMENTS AT HOME - Duration: 6:20.

hi friends wishing everyone a very happy Valentine's Day hope everyone is having

great time on this special occasion I am bringing to you how to make edible

arrangements at home they're very easy to make and you can always personalize

them as you like them so without wasting any more time let's get right into it

I've taken here some strawberries which are small to medium size just like these

some grapes have a papaya and half of happening and I'm gonna use

some chocolate chips cut the strawberries in half like these and I

have a color that's heart-shaped so I'm just cutting these strawberries to give

it a heart shape look at that beautiful shape you know cut as many as you like

so I've cut about six to seven strawberries

similarly I'm using a little bigger size of the same heart shape and I'm gonna

cut the Piatt as well the color of the papaya is so good and it's so sweet

that's going to taste amazing

looks like a big chunk of mango so yeah just see how many you can get out of

that shape and you know make as many as you can cut the base if it's too much so

here I have my strawberries and papaya continent heart shapes now similarly I'm

gonna cut the Apple as well for that I'm gonna use the smaller size of the cutter

so here I have all my fruits ready nice and beautiful the colors are exactly how

I wanted but you can always use any other food if you like and I also have

the grapes ready

I have taken you in half a cup of chocolate chips and I'm gonna melt them

in a microwave add about two teaspoons of milk while doing it now once the

chocolate is melted just go ahead and dip the fruits in there like that and

you don't need to you know do it for everything just half the fruit so you

want to mix and match fresh fruits and the chocolate-covered foods freeze these

for at least two hours in deep freeze while the chocolate-covered fruits are

in deep freeze I was getting a little more creative so I started doing this

rose flower out of the strawberry and it's very easy to make just cut the

sides like these and you know just spread them a little bit use a skewer if

you need to and again just you know spread those cut sides like this and you

will have a beautiful force just look at that

so pretty just like a rose now the chocolate-covered fruits already

just you know cut them like these and take them out in a plate they look so

tempting that you can eat one right away now here I have already added grapes to

the skewer so I have two skewers of grapes ready

and when these additional skewer sticks I'm gonna add the papaya and other foods

you know just to play with it see what you like and you don't just add those

fruits on to these cures you don't have to be perfect you know just go with the

flow

all my skewers are now ready you have taken a glass vase or a bowl and I'm

gonna decorate it a little bit so I'm adding some marbles into the base to

give it more support just gonna decorate it by adding this green ribbon

around see what you like you know you don't need to exactly do like

this but you know have a sturdy enough base for those skewers

here's how it looks and it's pretty darn good I feel

I've just taken this phone piece and I'm gonna add it to the base to allow me to

you know insert those skewers in it so just put it like that and this is how it

looks on the inside now let's start inserting the fruit skewers in it

there you go and to cover our form base it doesn't look that good I'm gonna use

let us leave and just cover that base with some lettuce leaves so just you

know cut them like these and just wherever you can see that white color

just cover it up

I'm gonna cover up those open skewers with some grapes if you liked today's

session please don't forget to Like subscribe

What Changes Would Make Zilong Great Again? Mobile Legends - Duration: 5:07.

[intro]

>> VeLL: Alright family, so I see you all spamming up the likes on my last zilong video

so thanks for letting me know you all enjoyed it, and I promised I'd make

a video talking about what I think can be done to bring him back

into the meta so we'll be going into that today.

Also I saw you all enjoy the closed captions as well.

Even though that's double the work for me, I only

make content so you all can enjoy it so we're going to keep the closed captions coming on

every video when I'm commentating.

That being said, lets hop into the topic, how can Mobile Legends make zilong great again?

So in the last video, I talked about how Zilong isn't very team oriented.

His biggest strength is his split push, and that requires high levels

of communication and teamwork.

Ideally we want zilong to be in a place where he can be beneficial in team fights.

The reason I didn't want to compare zilong to the assassins is

because not only can any assassin split push, but they can

also be game changing in team fights.

Let's take, lancelot.

He's very powerful in team fights, but at the same time he could split push and

not worry to much because of all the escapes he has.

Same with hayabusa, natalia, and all the other assassins.

Truthfully, I'd rather have any other assassin over zilong because they can split push the

same as zilong, but they also bring so much more to a team

fight.

So what can be done to bring zilong up to the level of the rest of the heroes.

I think a simple passive change could make zilong an insane pick.

Zilong used to be immune to crowd control using his ultimate, and I don't know if he

still is, but I think he needs even more than that.

It's so much crowd control in the meta, that he might avoid 1 person, but 4 other

people will probably have stuns or slows as well.

I think they need to punish people who try to use crowd control on zilong.

For his passive, I think he should be immune to crowd control, but also, if he's

directly hit with crowd control whoever casts it should be hit

with the effects of their own attack.

So lets say freya, drives on zilong and uses her stun.

Zilong will still take the damage the attack causes,

but freya will stun herself, making her a sitting duck for zilong.

I think this adds an interesting change to not only zilong but it would be completely

game changing as well.

It would be a similar situation to Argus.

You know how when argus is around everyone backs up a bit and thinks

twice about jumping in and trying to deal damage.

When zilong is around everyone will think twice about trying to use crowd control.

It also leave room for zilong to become a better team player than

ever before.

Lets say freya is about to jump out and dive one of your teammates, but you're zilong.

You can use zilongs dive to get in the way of freyas attack and

because of his passive, freya gets stunned and you saved

your teammate from getting stunned.

This is game changing because every single hero in Mobile Legends who has crowd control

would have to be sure zilong isn't around before they try to

use their abilities.

This change makes zilong one of the best team heroes currently in the meta, he's still amazing

at split pushing, and he is still very deadly in a

1v1.

I think this makes him great again, but I don't think it makes him too overpowered.

There could be some balance changes made to make sure he doesn't

get too much power.

For example, if someone stuns you for 4 seconds.

When zilong passive is activated it doesn't stun for the

entire 4 seconds but only half of it.

That way zilong can't punish everyone who uses crowd control as an

ultimate.

Depending on how good this makes zilong I think a good compromise could be having a

little meter similar to aurora, where when he stacks a certain

amount of marks, then this passive is activated the next time hes

hit with crowd control.

This could be done in many different ways.

It needs some testing to make sure he's not too op.

But I think this would bring him back in the meta in a big

way.

Let me know what you all think about this.

Do you think this would be a cool change for zilong, or do you

think there could be some type of problem or it would make him over powered.

But Zilong, isn't the only hero that could use some work before they're used in ranked

games.

Let's get this video to 500 likes, for the next hero that

you should never use when solo ranking.

Thanks for watching family, and I'll catch yall on the next one.

Peace out yo.

Crystal Ball Gazing In The Year Of The Dog - Duration: 1:51.

We think the Hang Seng is going to have a great year.

The first quarter is going to kick off well and the 28th February will be the luckiest

day for the market for the Hang Seng.

But you can see a slow summer, as you can see in May and June the fire element will

burn gold, will burn prosperity and wealth.

So you can see the summer season's going to be quite slow and the markets will likely bottom out in July.

But don't worry, in the second half you will see the market rebound again, and by the end

of the year CLSA actually forecasts the index to end higher than it begins for the year of the dog.

Sector-wise from a five elements perspective, we like 3 elements.

We like wood, we like earth and we like fire.

And wood is definitely our favorite element for the year of the dog.

So wood-related sectors could include pharma and consumer, so these two will be our best

picks in terms of sector for the upcoming year.

Not so favorable would be the elements of water and metal and we actually think metal-related

sectors including financials, banks, machinery, autos could underperform in the year of the dog.

Two persons we include in our Feng Shui report that will have a good year will include Jeff Bezos.

So we think basically the god of wealth is lying on his doormat this year, so he will

have a very great year in terms of wealth accumulation.

We also think it will be a very great year for New Zealand's Prime Minister because she's

of the zodiac of monkey and we think monkeys will have a great year in the year of the

dog, especially in terms of her career as well as in terms of her health.
