The device we are going to review today i received a long time ago. But there was an incident - I broke the glass, and I waited for another to come from the manufacturer.
And this delayed the date of this review. Though i come very seriously to this review - it have detailed analysis and testing
And that delayed it again
Anyway, i guess this is gonna be the most detailed reviews of this RTA on Youtube
Let's roll. Intro...
I think that way the reviews of MTL RTA's should start. Without any showing off

And i'm glad to welcome you on my channel
And today our guest is MTL RTA from the famous manufacturer Imeo, to be more exact from the company Golden Greek - the name of this RTA is Tilemahos Armed Eagle
It is 23mm in diameter and have polished finish.
This tank is also available with matte finish and with diameter of 25mm. This one we have is 23mm in diameter
This RTA have some standard features like fitting 510 drip tips, top fill, few capacity options - 4ml and 2ml, various building techniques
And there is interchangeable airflow tubes
This tank looks classically and in the style of Golden Greek
But before we dive down to the close up with full assembly and disassembly, i will tell you what i think of Imeo
In MTL RTA's industry i have 3 authoritative persons.
It's Sergey Novikov aka SvoeMesto
Next is another Sergey aka Flexoprint aka Vape Systems aka the maker of By-Ka's
And Imeo, who brought to this market the whole lot of different devices - mechanical mods, mini MTL RTA's, different versions of Tilemahos, Ithaka and so on
Golden Greek even have the electronic encyclopedia of their devices - for those who is interested - there will be link in the description
Overall folks that's the Tilemahos that gathered every developments of Imeo and it turned out very interesting
Though it have a cons as well as pros.
Let's dive down to the close up. This is gonna be long conversation.
Let's roll
Tilemahos came in this white package with golden stamping
In here it says since 2009 and the Golden Greek founder Imeo
And there's GG slogan - the greatest innovations for the greatest vapers
On the rear is written Made in Greece by Golden Greek. As well as barcodes, finish mark that shows which we have - polished or matte and the diameter - 23 or 25mm
And warnings with certificates
Under the cover we have detailed User Manual on different languages - Italian, Spanish, English, Greek...But sadly no Russian
And here we have kit content - the RTA itself and bag of spares. Let's take a look
The bag of spares include Helper tool that will come in handy for deck disassembly and other. But if you have a screwdriver with diameter of 2.5 or 3mm you can leave this thing in the spares bag.
Also bag of spares includes this pre-made coil in the form of the spring that you can install in slots that is called Springomizer. I will show you this later
2 interchangeable airflow tubes - one have diameter of 1.8mm, second 1.2mm
O-rings
And that threaded plastic thing that will replace you the 510 connector in one of configurations of placing the coil
Okay friends, it's time to talk of this RTA. But today we're not gonna walk the regular way - we will start with full disassembly
Folks. Here it is fully disassembled. Let's count how many parts it have
Let's start and include the screws 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21
Average is 20 because here is the part that reduce the capacity
So it's the 20 parts we need to get fully functional RTA
That's the main post that have 2 phillips head screws in it. In the center might be the airflow tube
This insulator is dividing posts from each other to prevent shorting out
This is second post. With 2 phillips head screws as well and slot for insulator
That's the outside part of the deck. You can call it a sleeve with different cutouts for different ways of putting the coil and the cotton
Another insulator and knurled washer for fixating posts in the deck
That's the main positive pin with airflow slots
Another airflow tube with 1mm hole. It's optional - if you want it you have to purchase it separately because it's not included in the kit
This airflow tube was sent to me by Imeo on my request
That was deck fully disassembled. I think it's time to assemble it.
But here we need a certain order. For a start we need this deck and insulator
Place the insulator and then place the second post
After this install this in the sleeve
Now place this insulator over here on the threads
And after all that fixate it with this washer
But at this moment your deck can shift, that's why don't tighten it right away and choose the position you need
Pay attention to the deck itself
In here we have several options to install the coil and initially you should choose what you want and what coil you will be using
Since it have both classical coil install option as well as the springs
And since it also have option for different ways of wicking - choose what you need
Since i'll be using fused clapton spring i will use this configuration
After placing the posts tight it down and after we did we can make a correction with a 2.5mm screwdriver. If you are perfectionist you can center it as center it can possible be.
And then tight it down completely
After the deck is done we need to assemble bottom part. So we need a pin and airflow tube
In here we need a drop of juice to lube this o-ring, because it's very tight when its dry. Use the juice you will be using or pure VG
Now put the airflow tube. It's still tight, but way easier then before
After this, screw this into the deck
Screw it down tightly so it won't unscrew on you when you disassemble the tank
But there is another important moment - one type of coil installation will require the unscrewing the pin
So you can screw this plastic pseudo 510 connector thing instead and get flat surface and install the coil
There is a nuance regarding coil installation - you can install it in different ways and different coils
I will be using Sprigomizer and that's why i won't be needed that plastic thing
But if you want to install regular coil you have to unscrew this bottom part and screw that plastic pseudo 510 connector
And there is one more way of installation with almost assembled deck
Anyway to demonstate you the ways you can install the coils i will show you how you can do that with that pseudo 510 connector
After you screw it into the deck we can screw the deck on the box mod
Unscrew the screws
Next step is coil installation. I'll put it the way that legs will be on top
Important notice - MAKE SURE that your coils legs won't touch that sleeve or it will short out
I'll explain why I installed it that way - i did it so the distance to the airflow was minimal
And you know what? I'll lower it even further.
That way my draw and flavor will be perfect.
This is one of the many ways of installation. You can experiment due to versatility of that deck
And now i will show you the way how to install the coil with Springomizer
I will use my standard Ni80 fused clapton for MTL which is made by Vandy Vape
I'll wrap it on 2.5mm rod and do like 8, 9 or 10 wraps. It depends what you like. I'm not counting the wraps
After i'm done wrapping this micro coil - all the wraps are close to each other
Stretch it out
Now push it back down and we get pretty evenly spaced spring
You can call it fused spaced coil
Now let's measure it and I see that i have too many wraps. So i can get rid off few wraps
Now cut it and make sure it's even
Our spring is ready for installation
Next step is simple - place it in slots and push down
Now we can remove screwdriver and the coil will look like so
Yes, it can deform a bit. And if the coil leg sticks out - you can just cut it
Which i did. And now it's only remain to glow it and put the cotton. But we will do it later since we didn't saw those parts yet
But let's keep it in order. This thing is bottom part of the deck. It have non-adjustable airflow holes - the air will go through them and get inside the deck itself
This is the place where our deck will fit into and there the positive pin will be stick out
Next part is quite important. We have 2 juice flow holes in it
Also this part of the tank is fixating the deck
Pay attention to the inside - we have 4 cutouts and the deck itself have a little key
Also there is 2 dots - they're showing how to install the deck correctly, so the coil will be in correct position and only after this your cotton will wick properly
After you installed the deck inside you can screw this into the deck housing and it will fixate this whole part
Now important thing - even in such kind you can install the coil, but you be unable to push it down to the airflow slot and in this variant of placing the coil it will give you a lot of throat hit and less flavor
I choose flavor over TH. I can add TH with nicotine. But again - you have a choice. You can do both of the variants, but i like it the way I did it
Since we're done let's glow the coil. It came out at 0.7ohm and yeah, i'm happy with it
Due to it's micro coil it glows inside out perfectly. But obviously we need higher wattage
After this done we can put the cotton
I'll be using Atomix cotton, i like how it works with MTL's - it give flavor straight from the first draw, but you have to change it more often
One of the important moments - the cotton should completely clock this juice feed slot, otherwise it will leak
Okay folks, we're done with the deck. Now it's time to assemble everything else
Next thing is the bell. The bell itself have engraving a name of this tank and it have 510 drip tip slot
Pay attention - we don't have spherical shape machining over here. I want to ask Imeo to add it, since it's gonna positively affect the flavor
Now screw that bell to the very end. As you can see on the bottom we have o-ring and the bell stops on it. Do not overtighten to not cut that o-ring.
Next part. And we assemble it separately. This part is a tank - this is the main part, it is made of metal into which we will insert the glass
Regarding the glass there is something. I think you noticed we don't have spare glass in the kit.
So the glass this tank initially come with I ended up shatter and that's why the delay occurred - i had to ask Imeo to send me one more because i was unable to make this review without it
As you can see Imeo did send it and now we can do a review and test this device
And i want to ask Imeo to add the spare glass to the kit
Okay folks, the tank is assembled. As you can see the tank have a cutouts and the glass that will allow to observe the juice leftover.
Also there is deep GG engraving that is made with CNC machining
Now screw this tank part on the deck part and we can fill it up. Don't forget to tighten the bell
In the kit we also have this white plastic thing that can be just thrown inside that tank and it will reduce the capacity of this tank down to 2 ml
It's European TPD thing, we don't need it
And this top cap with inner o-ring which we just screw down like so
Unfortunately this cap don't have any knurling or cutouts for more convenient usage. As you can see it takes some effort to screw it down
And here i got liquid on my fingers and it's barely impossible to tighten it because it's slippy
Next thing we need is to oped the juice flow. So we unscrew the bell
Like sooo~
Grab it where this engraving is and unscrew it. Unscrew it slightly and you can see the juice flow slots. Since the cotton is already saturated there will be no bubbles, but they will appear later
In here you can adjust to the juice level or the juice you are using
If you using 50pg/50vg juice like i do, then you can open it halfway. If you using 70vg/30pg juice you can open it almost all the way.
And the last part we are going to speak of is the drip tip
The drip tip in here is nonstandard. It have spit-back protection as you can see
It is designed for two o-rings, but initially it came to me with only one. And inside it look like so
I can say right away - i don't like this drip tip and i think that spit-back protection steals the flavor
That's why i'll be using the drip tip from Aspire Nautilus. It will fit great since it have this polish finish as well
Okay folks, this RTA is ready to work. But there is one more thing that i want to show
Size-wise comparison to other MTL RTA's
This is Tilemahos V2. I did a review of it
This is Ithaka. Also made by Imeo
This is our today guest
And here we have Kayfun Prime and By-Ka 7
As you can see Armed Eagle is quite tall. Even compared with previous and pretty old devices of GG.
Ithaka is looks way more short, but it have fixed drip tip
And Tilemahos V2 as you can see is pretty small little tank
And this RTA come out rather big
Now folks i think you saw everything about this tank. Now it's time to get back to face-time and try it out
Also we will talk about its pros, cons and nitpicks

It's awesome. That MTL draw is phenomenal. It's great that Imeo send me this 1mm airflow tube - now i maximally like the draw on this RTA. Super.
Overall. Let's speak of pros and cons
First con i'll give for the lack of any knurling or cutouts on the top cap for convenient unscrewing of it. As you saw in close up - once the liquid got on my hands any interactions with it immediately became a nightmare
And it's weird because previously Imeo products like Tilemahos V2 and Ithaka had those cutouts for convenient unscrewing on the top cap and in here Imeo abandon them.
I want Imeo to add them here and since they're not here i give a first con
Next con i'll give for the lack of the spare glass. It's easy to shatter first glass even during first wash and you quickly understand that any other glass just won't fit
And you had to buy another glass. The glass costs 6€ and it's expensive.
Anyway, i want to ask Imeo to expand the kit content and add the spare glass.
And last con i'll give to this RTA is for height. It's damn tall device. Yes, it have 4ml capacity but its tall even compared to the previous versions of this tank. Even Ithaka is a bit lower though it have long drip tip.
Nitpicks. There are some.
First nitpick goes for a drip tip. It have spit-back protection that is useless in here - liquid never get to the drip tip because it's a tall device and in the same moment it steals the flavor.
And i tested it deeply. I tried this tank with other drip tips and compared them to this one and i can tell for sure - this drip tip steals the flavor. Spit-back protection got to be removed
Next nitpick goes to coil installation. But that's the price we pay for fully disassemblable tank and its versatile design. Otherwise it might not be so versatile as it is now
In this RTA we have a lot of ways to install the coil. You can experiment on full
Anyway if want to install your coil correctly, so it will be at least 1mm above the airflow then you had to use this helping tools like that pseudo 510 connector
Because otherwise, if you try to install the coil when your deck is assembled it is gonna be very high above the airflow you and you end up getting harsh throat hit
So the choice is yours - if you like TH then install the coil with assembled deck. If you like more flavor and soft vape then you should disassemble the deck and use that pseudo 510 connector
Another nitpick i'll give for lack of spherical machining of the bell. And here i want to say directly to Imeo - i hope he will watch this video
This RTA is lacking spherical machining of the bell and i'm sure if Imeo will implement this spherical machining this RTA will benefit in flavor
So please Imeo, in your next RTA's do that spherical machining of the bell. It will be great.
And last nitpick that don't bother me but i'm sure there will be people who say they are not satisfied that there is no airflow adjustment ring
Actually you can adjust the airflow in here with the airflow tubes and it works pretty well. And mainly - silent.
I think you noticed that when i vaped there was no sound of the RTA itself. Only the sound of it purring inside
So once again - this isn't bother me at all and i'm completely satisfied with the draw on that RTA in this case with 1mm airflow tube.
We vaped a bit and now it's time to talk about pros which there is enough
And the first pro i'll give to this RTA is for pure MTLness. It's a purebred high-end MTL RTA in all possible meanings with the tight and correct MTL draw.
It's a phenomenal MTL RTA. And that's the most MAJOR pro.
Of course i'll give a pro for the flavor. It's great and it's true. I can feel the flavor of the juice i like and vape on the daily basis.
So pro for a flavor
Another pro goes for production quality. Everything is top notch
Made in Greek way, i may say. And Imeo differs from everyone In this case
So solid pro for production quality
Another pro goes for fully disassembly option. You can clean every part of your RTA and it's good and it's a pro.
Next pro for swappable airflow tubes. It's versatile and everyone can adjust for their personal MTL draw
Another pro i'll give for versatility of the deck. There's a huge amount of options to install the coil. You can use regular micro coils, you can use space coils, you can use spring-o-coils
Also there's different wicking techniques
The deck is very versatile and that's the pro
And last pro i'll give for the 4 ml capacity. This capacity is enough for a long period of time in case with MTL RTA's
So it's a pro for capacity
Okay folks, we're done with pros and cons. Now it's time to talk about the price
The price is not cheap.
The price is Greek.
So the price for this version of 23mm both Matte and Polished finish 139€
The price for 25mm version is 150€
Yeah, like i said it isn't cheap at all.
Now let's try to think for whom this device was made
Imeo make it for his loyal fans which a huge number worldwide
He deserves his popularity and people is ready to pay this price for his devices and they actually buy this MTL RTA's
At this moment i went to the Golden Greek online store and i saw that there is almost nothing in the stock
There's only 23mm version with Matte finish left and i guess not that big amount of them
Overall, it's not mass production product, it's not China
I will repeat - it's a purebred MTL RTA that have f^*k ton of fans which are ready to pay basically any price for these devices
Will i recommend this device? Of course i will. It's a great MTL RTA and it performs its job at 100-200-300%
It's a great MTL RTA
So folks, if you have the money to buy such devices - go for it and buy it. You won't regret. This kinda thing should be in the collection
