today I'm gonna design six Logos in under three minutes to see if I can
actually do it as well as doubling up as a tutorial to show you guys how to
design these logos this is the three logos in six minute challenge
what is that people welcome back to Satori graphics the home of graphic design
content right here on YouTube so today a video that's kind of a bit of fun but as
well as teaching you guys how to design is three cool a very simple logo designs
we're going to break in Adobe Illustrator and I'm gonna see if I can
actually design these Logos then in the six minutes combined so let's kick off
the first two minute Logos I will give you as much information as possible as I
go make a circle with the ellipse tool and flick the fill over to a stroke
duplicating with the alt/option key and then align both of them vertically and
horizontally in the line window increase the stroke weight and then add a
scribble effect to both circles like so
then curved objects blend and blending options you specified steps and I'm
going to use 15 steps then go to object plane mode and make 92 hit T on your
keyboard access the type tool and then type in some logo type I'm keeping the
coding nice and low for this logo type and then duplicate that to make a
tagline I'm only going to use half a case lettering for my tagline
increase the kerning and they lower the size of the logo type as we're selecting
everything and then aligning air I could spend a lot more tithing and slow go
but it's video just inferno challenge
and they have the first two men logos complete
you need scaling stroke option deselected in the Preferences window for
this logo design so locate the polygon tool and then click the artboard type in
six sides duplicate this shape two more times
but make each shape slightly smaller than the one before now select all three
shapes and align them vertically and horizontally I need to resize them to
lay an ideal sequence press C on your keyboard to locate the scissors tool and
then cut it twice into each of the two middle shapes now you can select and
delete the unwanted areas of the two inner shapes before at the Lego type I'm
quickly playing around the stroke weight and the layer of the symbol
again this is just for fun and nothing too serious guys okay and lastly add
some logo type in the logo but I'm not going to eat Italian this time around
I've got just enough time before the 2 minutes is up to play around the logo a
little bit more
and they have it the second too many Legos finished now onto the third leg of
design for the last two-minute Logo design make sure there's no fill-in just
a stroke and then grab the pencil make a vertical line and then rotate it by 315
degrees or rotated by 45 ever flexi like I've done duplicate the line three more
times and then align everything vertically and create equal spacing
between them
then increase the stroke weight and then round off the ends of the line in the
stroke window grab the direct selection tool edit the tops of each line apart
from the first one so that they become lower as they go along the logo grab the
ellipse tool and create a circle to add at the end of the logo finishing off the
scale
that I'm going to resize and outline the stroke of the lens
lastly some more legged I've something I would of course take a lot more time
with normally but this is just a logo design challenge
so there were three 2-minute logo designs in today's logo design challenge
