Disc Dog Training Vault Tricks - Duration: 4:44.
- Do you know what a Pluto Platter is?
That's actually the original name for a Frisbee,
before the company Wham-O
(bell dings) changed the name
of the product from Pluto Platter to Frisbee.
And now, Frisbee's just become the generic term you use
anytime you see a flying toy disc.
I'm gonna start calling it a Pluto Platter, though,
because every time I say that,
people are gonna say, what's a Pluto Platter?
And I can tell them, well actually,
a Pluto Platter was the original name for a,
it's also really fun to say.
I have something really cool
I wanna share with you guys today.
And today I am joined by Instructor Carol,
who's just getting her dogs ready here.
She is one of our instructors,
she's actually about to teach a grade two class.
But she is also a four-time world champion of Disc Dog.
And she's offered to show you guys today
a really cool trick that she calls push to a chest vault.
I'm Ken Steepe, this is Instructor Carol.

- Hi, Ken.
This is Thorpe.
I'm gonna demo a push off my body.
It can be used with or without a disc as a trick.
Or leading up to a chest vault.
So, Thorpe is gonna demo push,
(dog barks)
and come down on my back,
or off my front.
Now I'm gonna show you how to teach this
with a newer dog that's gonna move just a little bit slower.
This is The Berk.
He's fairly new to Disc Dog, still learning.
I'm gonna demo the push, but actually
turning it into a chest vault.
This is reasonably new for him.
Ready?
Push.
Good boy buddy, good one.
This is the method that I used with The Berk.
Like any dog training, there is many means to an end.
What I did with The Berk that worked very well
was just getting him comfortable jumping up.
So, all I did is I had him jump up,
and I said, yes, good.
Try it again.
Yes, good.
Ready?
(dog whines)
Yes, good.
And I do it at a bit of an angle forward.
So that he is getting comfortable.
Jump.
Yes.
And when he's comfortable,
and if your dog's a little nervous with that,
I can just reward him initially
for just putting two feet up.
I'll give him lots of treats.
Okay, buddy.
And I might even just two feet up,
I can reward there,
and then I could get it, and throw another treat out.
I don't have to start close to finished product.
When he's getting good at that,
that may take a few days, may take a few weeks
depending on the confidence of your dog.
I could now try it a little more vertical.
Are you ready?
Push.
Yeah, that's good.
So you can see he stalls a little bit there,
but my treat helps him finish it off.
Push.
Yes.
Good boy.
And when he's getting the hang of it,
that's when I start to put my command on it.
Push.
Yes.
And you can see him building confidence just there.
Push.
Yes get it, buddy.
Good work.
Now I can try maybe moving my chair a little bit away.
Are you ready?
I'm still gonna bend down a little bit.
Ready?
Push.
Yes.
Good boy.
You missed it that time, buddy.

And I can use that hand to indicate,
give him a little bit of a signal of what it is I want.
Ready?
Push.
Good boy.
You get that.
So I'm all set up for my shot.
You can tell The Berk is pretty excited about this.
He's very focused.
But he's not gonna go till I ask him.
If he started, I'm gonna stop him.
It's important he not just jump on me, and knock me over.
Ready?
Push.
Good boy.
Very nice.

Also important that he gives up the disc.
Good boy.
So that's my method of teaching the push.
Again, many methods.
Just to recap the key points.
I start out as low as I need to,
to build my dog's confidence.
I'll even reward two feet up.
I'll reward jumping on my lap.
And then I'll start shaping that,
that they'll jump on me and off me.
Once they're loving that, I'm gonna start
to build a little more height,
standing up a little bit.
May not get rid of my chair right away.
Then I'm gonna work to a point where
I'm away from a chair, but maybe a little low,
to a full one, to if I want, I can add that disc.
Ready, up.

Brad Pitt Just Destroyed Career With Shock Announcement He Made About Shooting
Less than a week ago, our country was rocked when we learned that a teenager senselessly
murdered students and teachers at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland,
Florida.
The tragedy comes after numerous shootings have occurred over the last several months
and of course, the liberals across the country and those in Hollywood have wasted no time
in pushing for more gun control citing that is the only way to stop potential shootings.
However, not all celebrities share that same belief system as Hollywood heavyweight Brad
Pitt just announced, putting his career in jeopardy with the spiteful left.
For years, we have heard the left claim that they are the party of acceptance and tolerance,
but that is hardly the truth.
In fact, the left cannot stand anyone who does not share their same toxic ideology and
will destroy them with no questions asked.
That has been proven multiple times with plenty of Hollywood actors, but the most prominent
example of their intolerance is President Donald Trump.
It was not that long ago, Trump was welcomed in all circles of Hollywood royalty, but the
moment he began to speak out against Barack Obama and run as a Republican candidate the
left went into full attack mode.
Now, Hollywood actor Brad Pitt may face the same wrath as President Trump did after taking
the stance against banning guns in the country.
In an interview not too long ago, Pitt spoke out against the removal of the Second Amendment
from the constitution and punishing law-abiding gun owners in America.
Pitt who was raised in Springfield, MO by a blue-collar family grew up his whole life
around guns and as we can all see has not shot up any schools or churches, right?
Describing America as "a country founded on guns," Brad Pitt told the Daily Mail
that "It's in our DNA.
It's very strange but I feel better having a gun.
I really do.
I don't feel safe, I don't feel the house is completely safe if I don't have one hidden
somewhere.
That's my thinking, right or wrong."
Pitt was raised in Springfield, Missouri by a father who ran a trucking company, and his
mother, a school counselor.
He explains that schools in the region were "sane environments" made "safer, not
more dangerous, by the presence of guns."
"I got my first BB gun (a type of air gun) when I was in nursery school.
I got my first shotgun by first grade (aged six), I had shot a handgun by third grade
(aged eight) and I grew up in a pretty sane environment.
"I was in the UK when the shootings happened and I did hear the discussion about gun control
start again, and as far as I know it petered out as it always does."
The actor and producer also predicted the anti-gun lobby will never win their fight
against the Second Amendment.
The average American will never let them take away our right to defend ourselves.
They are waging a war against the American psyche.
"It's just something with us.
To turn around and ask us to give up our guns…
I don't know, we're too afraid that we're going to give up ours and the bad guys are
still going to get theirs.
It's just in our thinking.
I'm telling you, we don't know America without guns."
There is no doubt that we have seen an increase of gun-related incidents, but it should not
take a person with a genius intellect to figure out what the issue is.
For decades, we have had guns in our country, and it has not been until recently that we
have seen more shootings occur on a frequent basis, and the common denominator is not the
weapon they choose.
The majority of these shooters are on medication or suffer from mental illness that in most
cases are not being treated.
The weapon that these deranged psychopaths choose is not the issue, but the left is incapable
of seeing that.
Instead of pushing for more gun control in America why aren't we focusing on getting
rid of gun free zones, teaching our youth to respect life, and having honest conversations
about mental illness that is affecting millions of people in our country.
Disarming the millions of law-abiding gun owners in the United States will not change
a thing since a criminal will find a way to carry out his nefarious deeds.
While it may seem at times that many people in America do not understand that logic it
is simply not true as Brad Pitt just demonstrated which gives me hope for the rest of the nation.

way to her jawline and then down to her collarbone and then right where her hair
kind of lands and then towards the center of her neck. This is a great place
to focus? Why the neck? Well the neck is a very sensitive spot because the neck is
filled with lots of nerve endings. This is definitely a spot that's gonna
capture a girl's attention when you are paying attention to it. I'm gonna give you a
few examples of what you can do to be able to access that part. Three things
you can do to access that part of her neck and no you don't even have to be
seriously dating her. This can be something that you can do when you first
meet her in the initial interaction. It could be something you could do on the
very first date. One example is if she shows
up on a date or you can do this actually when you first meet her and you guys are
talking for like 10-15 minutes is now Brittany's going to be my model here.
If she's wearing a necklace (I know Brittany's not wearing a necklace) but if
she's wearing a necklace what you can do is just go and touch the necklace ever
so lightly so that your fingertips are gonna be touching her neck just in
result of touching her necklace and just say it's really a nice necklace and then
move on to the rest of the conversation just kind of interrupting just say that
really quickly and then you're gonna get access to her neck and that's gonna make
her tingle a little bit. Here's another one you ready for another one
yep okay so this is probably more for if you're on a first date or Brittany can
chime in here and maybe she can say a few words if she has any ideas but the
idea here is is the hair so her hair is right here and you're just kind of
brushing her hair back behind her neck and as you're doing it as we're doing it
you're just kind of touching her neck just like that I'm doing it a little bit
slow you can do a little faster than so it's not so obvious but you're just
kind of going like this I said it's probably a good thing to do right before
a kiss hey what else would you feel that be comfortable to do something like that
I think yeah if you're getting close to a girl you know and kind of like about
to kiss I think that's a comfortable time to do something like that
otherwise I wouldn't do that in the first interaction unless she's like okay
so right now we're in the middle of you can see over the middle of darkness
right now and so something just kind of like scraped against our legs and we're
like what is that furry thing
coming off of a conversation where we talk about everything here has rabies
yeah it probably doesn't but it's pretty freaky if it happens to bite us what was

Soldier: Well, good morning everyone and welcome to the United States Army Training Center
in Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
Soldier: They have become the 1% of millions of Americans that made the decision and demonstrated
courage to serve our nation in a time of complexity, a time of uncertainty, and a time of war.
After 15 years of fighting the war on terror, our nation has learned that no arsenal or
no weapon in the arsenal of the world is so formidable as the will and moral courage of
the free men and women standing in formation today.
They speak French, Russian, Greek, Swahili, Punjabi, Spanish, among others.
They are highly educated.
In just one company alone, five of them have earned a Master's Degree, while 16 of them
have earned a Bachelor's Degree.
Youngest soldier 17 years old.
The oldest is 34 years old.
