A summit meeting was held between President Moon and his visiting Slovenian counterpart

at the top office.

The liberal leader also sat down with Russian Athletes to provide encouragment, as they

could not compete under their country's flag in the Pyeongchang games.

Hwang Hojun has more on the continued Olympic diplomacy.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in greeted his Slovenian counterpart, President Borut

Pahor, at the Blue House on Tuesday where they held a summit meeting.

It was the first visit by a Slovenian President to South Korea since the two countries established

diplomatic relations in 1992.

During the meeting, President Moon expressed his gratitude for President Pahor's visit

during the Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games and praised how the two countries have increased

their trade by more than 20 fold in the past ten years.

I am very pleased that South Korea and Slovenia have developed a mutually beneficial and cooperative

relationship, based on friendship, trust, and other shared values.

The two leaders agreed to enhance cooperation in various areas including logistics, noting

that Korean companies are already using Slovenia's southwestern city of Koper as a gateway for

shipments to central and eastern Europe.

They also agreed to exempt their respective nationals working in the other's country from

having to pay into local social security programs -- rather, those contributions will be counted

toward equivalent programs back in their home countries.

In addition, Presidents Moon and Pahor shared their views on boosting global efforts to

denuclearize North Korea.

The Slovenian President said he admires President Moon's efforts to peacefully resolve the nuclear

issue and expressed his desire to help achieve that.

"I would like to see much more involvement of European Union in this very, very important

security and political issue that everybody is watching.

I think we could be of more help than we are at the moment."

Shortly after the luncheon meeting, President Moon invited delegates representing the Olympic

Athletes from Russia to the Blue House, as an act of encouragement.

Russian athletes are competing in Pyeongchang as individuals... after their national team

was banned... over a state-sponsored doping scandal.

President Moon said he is grateful that Russia sent a large number of athletes despite the

situation.

The Russian representatives delivered an invitation from President Vladimir Putin... for President

Moon to visit Russia for football's World Cup later this year.

The Mouth - Part 2 - Enjoying Everyday Life - Duration: 28:33.

ANNOUNCER: THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN MADE POSSIBLE BY

THE FRIENDS AND PARTNERS OF JOYCE MEYER MINISTRIES.

JOYCE: BRING YOUR CONVERSATION INTO AGREEMENT

WITH GOD'S WORD INSTEAD OF JUST TALKING OUT OF HOW YOU FEEL

AND WHAT YOU THINK ALL THE TIME, AND I CAN GUARANTEE YOU THAT YOU

WILL BEGIN TO SEE CHANGES IN YOUR LIFE.

[MUSIC]

JOYCE: MATTHEW 12:34 SAYS, "YOU OFFSPRING OF VIPERS!

HOW CAN YOU SPEAK GOOD THINGS WHEN YOU ARE EVIL (WICKED)?

FOR OUT OF THE FULLNESS (THE OVERFLOW, THE ABUNDANCE)

OF THE HEART THE MOUTH SPEAKS."

IN OTHER WORDS, FOR IT TO COME OUT OF US, IT'S GOTTA BE IN US,

FLOATING AROUND IN THERE SOMEWHERE.

SO, NOTHING REVEALS MORE ABOUT THE REAL US THAN OUR WORDS.

YOU CAN LEARN SO MUCH ABOUT YOURSELF BY LISTENING

TO YOURSELF.

OOH, I LEARN THINGS ABOUT MYSELF I WOULD JUST ASSUME THAT I

WOULDN'T HAVE KNOWN.

"THE GOOD MAN FROM HIS INNER GOOD TREASURE FLINGS FORTH GOOD

THINGS, AND THE EVIL MAN OUT OF HIS INNER EVIL STOREHOUSE FLINGS

FORTH EVIL THINGS."

JAMES 3:2, "IF ANYONE DOES NOT OFFEND IN SPEECH, IF HE [NEVER

SAYS THE WRONG THINGS], HE IS A FULLY DEVELOPED CHARACTER AND

A PERFECT MAN, ABLE TO CONTROL HIS WHOLE BODY AND TO CURB HIS

ENTIRE NATURE."

MY GOODNESS, HE'S SAYING IF WE CAN CONTROL

OUR MOUTH, WE CAN CONTROL EVERYTHING ELSE IN OUR LIFE.

SOME OF YOU ARE TRYING REAL HARD TO CONTROL WHAT YOU PUT IN YOUR

MOUTH, AND YOU MIGHT BE BETTER OFF TO START FIRST TRYING TO

CONTROL WHAT COMES OUT OF IT.

UH-OH, WELL, I'LL JUST GO ON.

YOU'RE NOT LIKING THAT ONE.

MAYBE I'M TALK TO THESE PEOPLE OVER HERE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SEE, I CAN SHOW YOU A SCRIPTURE THAT SAYS IT'S NOT

WHAT GOES INTO THE MOUTH THAT DEFILES THE MAN, BUT WHAT

COMES OUT OF HIS MOUTH THAT DEFILES HIM.

SO, I'LL JUST GIVE AN EXAMPLE.

LET'S JUST SAY THAT, HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH SUGAR,

YOU JUST EAT WAY TOO MUCH SUGAR?

OKAY, WELL, LET ME GIVE YA A HINT.

DON'T SAY 50 TIMES A WEEK, "I CRAVE SUGAR.

I JUST HAVE TO HAVE SUGAR.

I'M ADDICTED TO SUGAR.

IF I EAT ONE COOKIE, I'VE GOTTA EAT THE WHOLE BAG.

IF I EAT ONE BITE OF ICE CREAM, I'VE GOTTA EAT THE WHOLE QUART."

DON'T SAY THAT KIND OF STUFF 'CAUSE EVERY TIME YOU DO, YOU'RE

JUST ASSURING YOURSELF THAT YOU'RE GONNA KEEP THE PROBLEM.

WHAT YOU SHOULD SAY, AND I DON'T CARE IF YOU HAVE TO START WITH

THE SPOON ON YOUR WAY TO YOUR MOUTH.

YOU START BY SAYING, "I'M NOT ADDICTED TO SUGAR.

I DON'T CRAVE SWEETS.

I HAVE SELF-CONTROL.

I HAVE A DISCIPLINED APPETITE."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: NOW SEE, IF YOU DIDN'T COME FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN

THAT, IT'S GONNA HELP YOU.

YOU SAY, "WELL, I'M JUST TELLING THE TRUTH."

I'M NOT--YES, THAT MAY BE A FACT IN YOUR LIFE, BUT THE TRUTH

IS GREATER THAN FACTS, AND THE TRUTH IS GOD'S WORD,

AND GOD'S WORD SAYS THAT, "HE WHOM THE SON HAS

SET FREE IS FREE INDEED."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SO, DON'T SAY, "I'M ADDICTED TO THIS.

I'M ADDICTED TO THAT.

I CAN'T HELP THIS.

I CAN'T HELP THAT."

AND FOR GOODNESS SAKES, DON'T EVER SAY, "I JUST DON'T HAVE ANY

DISCIPLINE OR SELF-CONTROL."

I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE THE LAZIEST PERSON ON THE PLANET,

I WANT YOU TO START SAYING, "I AM A MAN OR A WOMAN

OF DISCIPLINE AND SELF-CONTROL.

I CAN CONTROL MYSELF."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I STARTED SMOKING CIGARETTES WHEN I WAS

9 YEARS OLD AND, YEAH, 9 YEARS OLD.

AND I HUNG AROUND WITH KIDS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD THAT WERE OLDER

THAN ME AND THEY ALL SMOKED SO I SMOKED.

AND SO, I SMOKED UP UNTIL I WAS ABOUT 35, SOMETHING

AROUND THERE.

AND I ALWAYS SAID, "OH, I KNOW I COULD JUST--I KNOW I COULD

NEVER QUIT SMOKING.

IT WOULD BE SO HARD FOR ME IF I EVER TRIED TO QUIT SMOKING."

WELL, SURE ENOUGH THEN WHEN I WANTED TO QUIT, IT WAS HARD

FOR ME, VERY HARD FOR ME.

AND ONE OF THE THINGS THAT GOD LED ME TO DO--AND HERE AGAIN,

THIS MAY SOUND LIKE I'M A LUNATIC, BUT I DON'T CARE.

I'M TRYING TO HELP YOU SO I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK.

I REMEMBER DRIVING HOME FROM WORK AT NIGHT WITH A CIGARETTE

BETWEEN MY FINGERS SAYING, "I DON'T SMOKE.

I CAN'T STAND TO SMOKE.

CIGARETTES STINK.

I DON'T SPEND MY MONEY ON CIGARETTES."

AND I'M TELLING YOU THE HONEST TRUTH, IT WAS NOT VERY MANY

WEEKS AFTER THAT AND I QUIT.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: NOW, I'M NOT TELLING YOU THAT THIS IS JUST LIKE

A LITTLE MAGIC CHARM AND YOU CAN JUST SAY ANYTHING YOU WANT AND

GET ANYTHING YOU WANT, BUT I AM TELLING YOU THAT IF YOU WANT TO

STOP DOING SOMETHING, THEN YOU HAVE TO STOP TALKING LIKE YOU

CAN NEVER STOP DOING IT, AMEN?

ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE GETTING THIS?

YOU'RE JUST LIKE--OKAY?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND HOW MANY OF YOU SAY BAD THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF?

OOH, I WOULD LIKE TO COME OUT THERE AND SHAKE YOU.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: OH, MY GOSH, ONE OF THE WORST THINGS THAT WE CAN DO

IS SAY NEGATIVE DOWNGRADING THINGS ABOUT OURSELVES.

LET ME TELL YA SOMETHING, THE DEVIL'S ALREADY AGAINST YOU

AND YOU DON'T NEED TO AGREE WITH HIM.

WHAT YOU NEED DO IS GET INTO AGREEMENT WITH GOD.

AMOS 3:3 SAYS, "HOW CAN TWO WALK TOGETHER UNLESS THEY BE AGREED?"

WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY TO YOU TODAY IS BRING YOUR CONVERSATION

INTO AGREEMENT WITH GOD'S WORD INSTEAD OF JUST TALKING OUT OF

HOW YOU FEEL AND WHAT YOU THINK ALL THE TIME, AND I CAN

GUARANTEE YOU THAT YOU WILL BEGIN TO SEE CHANGES

IN YOUR LIFE.

NOW, IT MAY NOT BE OVERNIGHT, BUT WHAT HAPPENS WHAT YOU SAY

RUNS RIGHT ALONG HERE, GETS IN EARS, AND DROPS RIGHT DOWN

INTO YOUR SPIRIT.

AND I'M GONNA SHOW YOU A SCRIPTURE IN A MINUTE THAT

SAYS WE EAT OUR WORDS.

YOU'VE SAID TO PEOPLE, "YOU ARE GONNA EAT THOSE WORDS."

WELL, THE TRUTH IS IS YOU ACTUALLY DO EAT YOUR WORDS.

YOUR WORDS AFFECT YOU MORE THAN ANYBODY ELSE'S WORDS AFFECT YOU.

SO, LET'S JUST SAY THAT YOU'RE LIVING WITH SOMEBODY THAT'S

REALLY NEGATIVE, AND DOWNGRADING, AND THEY'RE

CONSTANTLY PUTTING YOU DOWN AND SOMETIMES PEOPLE SAY EVEN,

"WELL, HOW IN THE WORLD CAN I KEEP A GOOD ATTITUDE?

HOW CAN I NOT GET DEPRESSED IF I'M LIVING WITH SOMEBODY THAT

PUTS ME DOWN ALL THE TIME?" WELL, YOU KNOW WHAT?

IT IS HARD, AND IT'S CHALLENGING, BUT YOU CAN DO

TWO THINGS, YOU CAN MAKE SURE THAT

YOU HAVE ENOUGH FRIENDS THAT BUILD YOU UP THAT IT HELPS TO

OVERRIDE THOSE NEGATIVE THINGS.

AND AS SOON AS SOMEBODY SAYS SOMETHING NEGATIVE TO YOU,

IF YOU CAN'T GET THEM NOT TO SAY IT, YOU GO IN ANOTHER ROOM

BY YOURSELF AND YOU SAY WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT YOU OUT LOUD.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I MEAN, I DON'T KNOW, LET'S JUST SAY YOU'RE A WOMAN,

YOU'RE MARRIED TO A MAN AND HE TELLS YOU FIVE TIMES A WEEK

YOU'RE STUPID.

WELL, YOU NEED TO GO TELL YOURSELF 25 TIMES A WEEK THAT

YOU HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST.

I LIKE THIS, THIS IS GOOD TODAY.

'CAUSE WHAT YOU SAY IS GONNA MEAN MORE TO YOU THAN WHAT

SOMEBODY ELSE SAYS.

THE THING WE DO IS WE JUST STAND AROUND AND LET EVERYBODY ELSE

DETERMINE OUR WORTH AND VALUE AND WE DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT.

GET INTO AGREEMENT WITH GOD AND YOU WILL SEE AMAZING THINGS

HAPPEN IN YOUR LIFE.

IF--I DO NOT HAVE ONE DAY OF MY LIFE THAT GOES BY THAT I DON'T

CONFESS THE WORD OF GOD OUT LOUD.

EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE, I MEAN, EVERY DAY I STILL SAY,

"I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD THROUGH CHRIST.

I AM A NEW CREATURE IN CHRIST.

OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY AND ALL THINGS BECOME BRAND NEW."

YOU KNOW WHY I SAY THAT?

BECAUSE I HAD SUCH A HARD TIME WITH GUILT AND CONDEMNATION,

AND I FELT SO BAD ABOUT MYSELF FOR SO MANY YEARS BECAUSE

OF THE ABUSE THAT MY FATHER HAD PERPETRATED ON ME.

AND I JUST FELT NO GOOD AND I TELL YA WHAT, IT WAS A BATTLE

FOR ME TO FIGHT MY WAY THROUGH TO EVER BELIEVING THAT I

HAD RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD THROUGH CHRIST.

AND ONCE I GOT IT, I WAS DETERMINED I WAS NEVER GONNA

LOSE IT AND I CONTINUALLY RENEW MY MIND BY SAYING THERE IS

NO CONDEMNATION FOR THOSE IN CHRIST.

GOD LOVES ME.

I'M HIS CHILD.

I'M ACCEPTED.

HE'S PLEASED WITH ME.

YES, I SAID GOD IS PLEASED WITH YOU AND THERE'S NOTHING WRONG

WITH YOU SAYING THAT.

HE MAY NOT BE PLEASED WITH EVERYTHING YOU DO,

BUT HE IS PLEASED WITH YOU.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: WELL, WE NEED MORE TIME THAN I'VE GOT, DON'T WE?

YOU KNOW, TWO TIMES THE BIBLE RECORDS THAT A VOICE CAME OUT

FROM HEAVEN REGARDING JESUS AND SAID, "THIS IS MY BELOVED SON

IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED."

WELL, JESUS DIDN'T SAY, "OH NO, NO, NO."

YOU KNOW, GOD'S NOT PLEASED WITH YOU BECAUSE YOU'VE GOT PERFECT

BEHAVIOR, BUT I'LL TELL YA, HE'S PLEASED YOU'RE HERE TODAY.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: NOT TOO MANY PEOPLE TAKE A SATURDAY AFTER THEY'VE

WORKED ALL WEEK AND GO SIT AND LISTEN TO THE WORD OF GOD,

AND A LOT OF YOU WILL BE BACK IN CHURCH AGAIN TOMORROW AND YOU

WERE HERE LAST NIGHT.

AND GOD'S PLEASED WITH YOU.

YOU MAY NOT DO EVERYTHING RIGHT, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT?

YOU WANT TO DO EVERYTHING RIGHT OR YOU WOULDN'T EVEN BE HERE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: YOU SAY, "WELL, WOULDN'T IT BE LIKE A WRONG KIND

OF PRIDE FOR ME TO STAND IN A ROOM AND SAY--"

AND I'M NOT SUGGESTING YOU GO SAY THIS TO SOMEBODY ELSE.

"BUT WOULDN'T IT BE WRONG FOR ME JUST TO SAY GOD IS PLEASED

WITH ME?" NOPE, I DON'T THINK SO.

YOU KNOW WHY?

BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT HIS WORD SAYS.

THANK YOU.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I HAVE A MAN IN AGREEMENT AND THAT'S

EVEN BETTER.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: DON'T SAY THINGS LIKE, "I'M STUPID, I'M FAT, I'M UGLY,

I'M DUMB.

I CAN'T DO ANYTHING RIGHT."

DON'T DO THAT KIND OF STUFF.

DON'T SAY NEGATIVE THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF OUT OF YOUR OWN MOUTH.

SAY ABOUT YOU WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT YOU AND IT WON'T BE LONG

AND YOU'LL SEE THOSE THINGS.

IT'LL RENEW YOUR MIND.

IT CHANGES YOUR WHOLE ATTITUDE TOWARD YOURSELF AND YOU'LL BE

AMAZED IF YOU JUST START SAYING, "I'M A PERSON OF DISCIPLINE AND

SELF-CONTROL," YOU'LL BE AMAZED AT HOW JUST LITTLE BY LITTLE

THINGS WILL BEGIN TO CHANGE BECAUSE REALLY, ONCE YOUR MIND

IS RENEWED, HONEY, IT'S ALL OVER BUT THE SHOUTING BECAUSE ONCE

YOU BELIEVE YOU CAN DO WHAT GOD SAYS YOU CAN DO, THEN YOU

WILL START DOING IT.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: PROVERBS 18:20, "A MAN'S [MORAL] SELF SHALL BE

FILLED WITH THE FRUIT OF HIS MOUTH; AND WITH THE CONSEQUENCES

OF HIS WORDS HE MUST BE SATISFIED [WHETHER GOOD

OR EVIL].

DEATH AND LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE, AND THEY WHO

INDULGE IN IT SHALL EAT THE FRUIT OF IT."

COME ON, EVERYBODY SAY, "I EAT MY WORDS."

AUDIENCE: I EAT MY WORDS.

JOYCE: HERE'S ANOTHER ONE, PROVERBS 18:8,

"THE WORDS OF A WHISPERER OR TALEBEARER," THAT'S LIKE

A GOSSIPER, "ARE AS DAINTY MORSELS; THEY GO DOWN INTO THE

INNERMOST PARTS OF THE BODY."

NOW, YOU KNOW WHAT'S INTERESTING THAT I FOUND?

IF SOMEBODY COMES TO ME--AND I DON'T KNOW WHY IT IS THAT WE

LOVE GOSSIP.

BUT I MEAN THE MINUTE SOMEBODY SAYS, "HAVE YOU HEARD?"

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: I MEAN IT'S LIKE, EVERYTHING JUST COMES ALIVE.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: OOH, I'M ABOUT TO FIND SOMETHING OUT.

AND YOU CAN ALREADY KIND OF TELL IT'S NOT GONNA BE SOMETHING

NICE, AND THERE'S A PART OF YOU THAT THINKS, "I SHOULD JUST SAY

NO AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR."

BUT OH NO, IT'S LIKE, "NO, WHAT, WHAT, WHAT, WHAT?"

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: YOU KNOW WHAT I'VE DISCOVERED?

SOMEBODY CAN TELL ME SOMETHING UNKIND ABOUT SOMEBODY THAT

I LOVE AND ADMIRE AND EVEN IF I DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE IT, ONCE

IT GETS DOWN IN ME, IT CAN CAUSE ME TO BE SUSPICIOUS OR LOOK AT

THAT PERSON IN A DIFFERENCE LIGHT--IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT

FROM THAT TIME ON.

WORDS GO DOWN--WE NEED TO BE VERY CAREFULLY ABOUT THE THINGS

WE SAY TO PEOPLE ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE BECAUSE WE ARE POISONING

THEIR SPIRIT WHEN WE DO THAT.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: "HAVE YOU HEARD?" NO, AND I DON'T WANT TO.

SO MANY GREAT SCRIPTURES ABOUT THE MOUTH.

I LOVE THIS ONE, JAMES 1:26, "IF ANYONE THINKS HE IS RELIGIOUS

(PIOUSLY OBSERVANT OF THE EXTERNAL DUTIES OF HIS FAITH)

AND DOES NOT BRIDLE HIS TONGUE BUT DELUDES HIS OWN HEART,

THIS PERSON'S RELIGIOUS SERVICE IS WORTHLESS

(FUTILE AND BARREN]"

WELL, YOU KNOW WHAT?

AND PLEASE DON'T TAKE THIS WRONG, WHEN I SAY A RELIGIOUS

PERSON, I'M TALKING ABOUT SOMEBODY WHO MAYBE GOES

TO CHURCH, THEY HAVE A BUMPER STICKER, THEY'VE GOT A HUGE

CHRISTIAN LIBRARY, A BIG NECKLACE WITH A CROSS ON IT,

AND THEY FOLLOW ALL THE RULES AND REGULATIONS, BUT THEY HAVE

NO REAL, INTIMATE, PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

YOU KNOW, JESUS DIDN'T DIE SO WE CAN ALL HAVE A RELIGION, HE DIED

SO WE CAN HAVE AN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

THROUGH HIM.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: JESUS DIDN'T DIE FOR US SO WE CAN JUST GO TO CHURCH,

AND GO HOME, AND NEVER CHANGE.

IT'S NOT ABOUT PUTTING IN 45 MINUTES WITH GOD ON

SUNDAY MORNING, HE WANTS TO DO LIFE WITH YOU.

HE WANTS TO BE INVOLVED IN EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO.

IT'S ABOUT INTIMACY AND WHEN YOU START REALLY HANGING OUT WITH

JESUS ON A REGULAR BASIS, THAT'S WHEN YOU BEGIN TO BECOME

MORE AND MORE LIKE HIM.

SO HE SAID, "IF YOU THINK YOU'RE RELIGIOUS BUT YOU DON'T BRIDLE

YOUR TONGUE, THEN YOU'RE DECEIVING YOURSELF."

YOU KNOW, THIS SOUNDS AWFUL BUT I CAN REMEMBER SOME OF MY YEARS

AS A RELIGIOUS PERSON AND WE HAD OUR GROUP OF FRIENDS.

YOU KNOW, IT WAS A SOCIAL CLUB AT CHURCH AND WE WOULD GO

TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY MORNING, WOULDN'T DARE MISS CHURCH

ON SUNDAY MORNING.

AND WE'D GO OUT TO LUNCH WITH A BUNCH OF OUR FRIENDS AFTER

CHURCH, AND YOU KNOW WHAT ENTERTAINMENT WAS?

GOSSIPING ABOUT EVERYBODY ELSE, INCLUDING THE PASTOR

AND HIS SERMON.

AND DON'T TELL ME YOU DON'T DO IT.

IF YOU'RE NOT CAREFUL, SOME OF YOU WILL HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY

ABOUT ME AFTER YOU LEAVE TODAY.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: BUT IT WILL ALL BE GOOD, RIGHT?

IT WILL ALL BE GOOD, ALL GOOD, ALL RIGHT.

COME ON, HAVE YOU EVER GONE TO CHURCH AND THEN LEFT CHURCH

AND GOSSIPED TO SOME OTHER CHRISTIAN ABOUT SOMEBODY YOU

SAW IN CHURCH?

COME ON, DON'T YOU LIE.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: YEAH, AND I DID TOO.

WELL, THAT GRIEVES THE HOLY SPIRIT WHEN WE DO THAT.

THAT'S NOT WHAT HE WANTS US TO DO.

SO, WE'VE GOTTA BE SURE THAT WE UNDERSTAND THAT WE CAN'T JUST

WORSHIP HIM WITH OUR MOUTH WHILE OUR HEARTS ARE FAR FROM HIM.

WE LEARN SO MUCH ABOUT OURSELF BY WHAT COMES OUT OF OUR MOUTH.

1 CORINTHIANS 3:1 THROUGH 3, PAUL TOLD THE CORINTHIAN

CHRISTIANS THAT HE KNEW THEY WERE CARNAL AND HE COULD TELL BY

THE WAY THEY TALKED.

"HOWEVER, BRETHREN, I COULD NOT TALK TO YOU AS TO SPIRITUAL

[MEN], BUT AS TO NONSPIRITUAL [MEN OF THE FLESH, IN WHOM

THE CARNAL NATURE PREDOMINATES].

I HAD TO TALK TO YOU LIKE MERE INFANTS [IN THE NEW LIFE]

IN CHRIST."

AND LOOK WHAT THE AMPLIFIED SAYS IN PARENTHESES HERE,

"[UNABLE TO TALK YET!]."

WELL, WHAT IN THE WORLD?

I MEAN, THESE ARE GROWN MEN, CERTAINLY THEY CAN TALK.

I MEAN, WHAT DID PAUL MEAN YOU'RE UNABLE TO TALK YET?

YOU KNOW WHAT HE MEANT?

YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO TALK RIGHT.

YOU'RE SAYING A BUNCH OF STUFF THAT LETS ME KNOW THAT YOU'RE

CARNAL, IMMATURE CHRISTIANS.

VERSE 3 SAYS, "FOR AS LONG AS THERE--FOR LONG AS YOU ARE STILL

[UNSPIRITUAL, HAVING THE NATURE]

OF THE FLESH, AS LONG AS YOU'RE [UNDER THE CONTROL OF

ORDINARY IMPULSES].

AS LONG AS [THERE ARE] ENVYING AND JEALOUSY AND STRIFE,

ARE YOU NOT UNSPIRITUAL AND OF THE FLESH, BEHAVING YOURSELF

LIKE MERE (UNCHANGED) MEN?" I REMEMBER WHEN THE LORD SPOKE

TO ME MANY, MANY, MANY YEARS AGO AND HE SAID, "OKAY, YOU'RE

SAVED, NOW IT'S TIME FOR YOUR MOUTH TO GET SAVED."

HOW MANY OF YOU COULD USE A LITTLE SALVATION IN YOUR MOUTH?

ALL RIGHT, I KNEW THAT THIS WOULD BE FOR YOU TODAY.

I PICKED THE RIGHT PLACE TO PREACH THIS MESSAGE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: THIS'LL HELP YOU.

1 CORINTHIANS 13:11, "WHEN I WAS A CHILD, I TALKED LIKE A CHILD,

I THOUGHT LIKE A CHILD, I REASONED LIKE A CHILD; NOW THAT

I HAVE BECOME A MAN, I AM DONE WITH CHILDISH WAYS AND HAVE

PUT THEM ASIDE."

HOW DO CHILDREN TALK?

WELL, TWO THINGS I'LL MENTION, NUMBER ONE, THEY ALMOST ALWAYS

TALK ABOUT THEMSELVES, WHAT THEY WANT, WHAT THEY LIKE,

WHAT THEY NEED.

AND NUMBER TWO, THEY TALK WAY TOO MUCH.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: YEAH, AMEN.

THERE'S THAT GUY AGAIN, I LIKE HIM.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: ALL RIGHT NOW, JUST IN CASE YOU MAYBE ARE WONDERING IF

I'M RIGHT ABOUT THIS CONFESSING THE WORD OUT LOUD THING, I WANT

TO TAKE THE LAST LITTLE BIT OF TIME THAT I HAVE HERE AND I WANT

TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT MAKING A COMPLETE TURNAROUND TODAY AND

INSTEAD OF CONTINUING TO TALK ABOUT THINGS IN YOUR LIFE AS IF

THEY'RE ALWAYS GONNA BE THE WAY THEY ARE RIGHT NOW,

DON'T EVER SAY, "THIS IS NEVER GONNA CHANGE.

YOU'RE NEVER GONNA CHANGE.

I'M NEVER GONNA HAVE ANY MONEY.

I'LL NEVER OWN A NEW CAR."

DON'T SAY THAT KIND OF STUFF.

SAY WHAT GOD SAYS.

IF YOU THINK THAT WHAT I'M SAYING IS YOU'RE JUST NOT SURE

THAT IT'S SCRIPTURAL, I WANT US TO LOOK AT EZEKIEL 37,

THE FIRST 10 VERSES.

YOU CAN ARGUE WITH ME, BUT YOU CAN'T ARGUE WITH THE WORD,

NOT IF YOU'RE SMART.

EZEKIEL THE PROPHET, "THE HAND OF THE LORD WAS UPON ME, AND HE

BROUGHT ME OUT IN THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD AND SET ME DOWN IN

THE MIDST OF THE VALLEY; AND IT WAS FULL OF BONES.

AND HE CAUSED ME TO PASS ROUND ABOUT AMONG THEM, AND BEHOLD,

THERE WERE VERY MANY [HUMAN BONES] IN THE OPEN VALLEY

OR PLAIN, AND BEHOLD, THEY WERE VERY DRY."

MAYBE THERE'S SOMEBODY HERE TODAY AND YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR

LIFE, AT THIS POINT, IS NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF DEAD, DRY BONES.

"AND HE SAID TO ME, SON OF MAN, CAN THESE BONES LIVE?

AND I ANSWERED, O LORD GOD, YOU KNOW!"

"YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE THAT KNOWS."

AND THEN AGAIN VERSE 4, "HE SAID TO ME, PROPHESY

TO THESE BONES AND SAY TO THEM, O YOU DRY BONES, HEAR THE WORD

OF THE LORD."

COME ONE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: O, YOU DEAD, DRY BONES, YOU MISERABLE

WRETCHED LIFE.

YOU EMPTY BANK ACCOUNT.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD.

YOU GOTTA LOVE IT.

"THUS SAYS THE LORD GOD TO THESE BONES: BEHOLD, I WILL CAUSE

BREATH AND SPIRIT TO ENTER YOU, AND YOU SHALL LIVE."

IN OTHER WORDS, YOU CAN LOOK AT ANY CIRCUMSTANCE IN YOUR LIFE

AND YOU CAN SAY, "YOU WILL CHANGE."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: YOU WILL CHANGE BECAUSE GOD IS GREATER THAN

YOU ARE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND HIS WORD IS GREATER THAN YOU ARE.

"AND I WILL LAY SINEW UPON YOU AND I WILL BRING FLESH UPON YOU

AND COVER YOU WITH SKIN, AND I WILL PUT BREATH AND SPIRIT IN

YOU, AND YOU [DRY BONES]

SHALL LIVE; AND YOU SHALL KNOW, UNDERSTAND, AND REALIZE THAT

I AM THE LORD [THE SOVEREIGN RULER, WHO CALLS FORTH LOYALTY

AND OBEDIENT SERVICE].

SO I PROPHESIED AS I WAS COMMANDED; AND AS I PROPHESIED,

THERE WAS A [THUNDERING] NOISE AND BEHOLD, A SHAKING

AND TREMBLING AND A RATTLING, AND THE BONES CAME TOGETHER,

BONE TO ITS BONE."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: "AND I LOOKED AND BEHOLD, THERE WERE SINEWS UPON

[THE BONES] AND FLESH CAME UPON THEM AND SKIN COVERED THEM, BUT

THERE WAS NO BREATH OR SPIRIT IN THEM."

SO, HE DIDN'T JUST QUIT AND SAY, "OH WELL, IT ALMOST WORKED.

SOMETHING HAPPENED, BUT STILL NO LIFE."

THEN GOD SAID TO HIM, "PROPHESY TO THE BREATH AND THE SPIRIT,

SON OF MAN, AND SAY TO THE BREATH AND

SPIRIT, THUS SAYS THE LORD: COME FROM THE FOUR WINDS, O BREATH

AND SPIRIT, AND BREATHE UPON THESE SLAIN THAT THEY MAY LIVE.

SO I PROPHESIED AS HE COMMANDED ME, AND THE BREATH AND SPIRIT

CAME INTO [THE BONES], AND THEY LIVED AND STOOD UP UPON THEIR

FEET, AN EXCEEDINGLY GREAT AND A MIGHTY HOST."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I STARTED OUT 42 YEARS AGO

WITH A NOTEBOOK AND A BIBLE, AND I WROTE DOWN 65 THINGS THAT

GOD'S WORD SAYS WERE MINE THROUGH THE BLOOD OF CHRIST.

NOT ONE OF THEM WAS A FACT IN MY LIFE AT THE TIME, BUT IT WAS

THE TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD.

I HOPE IN SOME WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM, GOD IS USING THESE WORDS

OF MINE TO SPEAK A WORD TO YOU THAT IS SO CLEAR, NO MATTER WHAT

THE FACTS ARE IN YOUR LIFE, GOD'S WORD IS GREATER THAN THOSE

FACTS.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: DO YOU HEAR ME?

NOBODY HAS GOT SO MANY DEAD, DRY BONES IN THEIR LIFE THAT THINGS

CAN'T CHANGE, BUT YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO GET THIS TRUTH IN YOUR

LIFE AND YOU KEEP IT UP, AND YOU KEEP IT UP, AND YOU KEEP IT UP,

AND YOU KEEP IT UP UNTIL THE DEVIL SHUTS UP.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AMEN?

JOYCE: WELL, NOTHING REVEALS MORE ABOUT OUR TRUE CHARACTER

PJ MASKS Toys Romeo Go To Jail - Duration: 13:01.

PJ Masks Toys Romeo goes to jail Oh

No Romeo is in jail. What happened dino friends?

Watch this

It's a super Gaint Rubble

Hey, Dino, pals. This is Toy Rex here. Let's see what toy surprise we have today

Good job Rubble

You finished your mission you helped the Train get to the train station on time by using your bulldozer to clear all the rocks

That's rubble on the double

Now all the paw patrol pups get to go play at the park. Yeah. I'm gonna go down the slide

That sounds like fun rubble, but be careful if you go too fast. You'll hurt yourself so be careful

I sure will Ryder let's go pups

Laughs calm down is a run pup here. I go whoa Oh

No rubble went too fast on the slide and hurt himself let's take the elevator down to see if he's okay

Rubble rubble, are you okay?

Well, I went to first Ryder sorry I didn't listen to you. Don't worry about that rubble. Are you hurt?

I got an idea on my foot. I don't think I can walk oh

It hurts so much. Oh, no rubble. We're gonna have to get you to the doctor. Oh, I'm so scared of seeing the doctor though

Hi there. I'm Romeo kid genius. Do you guys need some help hi Romeo?

Yeah, rebel heart is foot. Can you help him?

I sure can I am great at making inventions, and you see this year? This is my new invention

It's called the healing wand I can use it to heal all ouchies. Wow you're so smart Romeo

Can you please use it on rubble sure thing?

You're gonna be all better now

Wow, thanks Romeo. I would stay, but I'm in a big hurry. I'm working on my new invention

See you guys later

How do you feel now rub ooh? Whoa my fruits are better? I can even show

It was amazing but my tummy cannot hurts your tummy hurts is it cuz you're hungry rubble

Well we better get you some food can I have candy if you promise to be more careful next time

Sure thing that's rubble on the double

Okay

Okay pops what food do you want to order at this restaurant? We've got pizza spaghetti and doggy treats

Oh, I really like doggy treats go right in my tummy still hurts, and I feel really weird

Because you're really hungry. No my tummy feels so weird are you okay rubble?

I don't know what's going on. Do you need a doctor?

wait something's happening

Wow

You turn into a cheese

Where are you going?

Ryder rubble turn into a giant pup and ran off. He's too fast. We can't catch him

This is really bad chase. We need to get all the rest of the paw patrol pups and find rubble Chase is on the case

What's going on here

Rubble why are you so big you turn into a giant hub and made a big mess who did this to you?

Romeo did this he's a knight villain. That's always causing trouble for the PJ masks. Don't worry rubble

I'm gonna go catch Romeo, and then we're gonna turn you back into a little pup

That's a good boy. I'll see you in a bit I

Need to think of my next invention so I can defeat those PJ masks ha ha I'm the smartest

Romeo I found you, hey mr. Police officer how are you doing Romeo you're in big trouble

What why am I in trouble?

Rubble told me that you'd turn him into a big giant Cup and now he made a big mess. This is all your fault

Why did you turn rubble into a giant pup rubble into a giant pup?

I don't know what you're talking about

The only thing I did for rubble was healing with my healing wand because he fell down the slide and hurt his hand

Stop lying Romeo. I'm not lying mister. Please doctor. I don't know what you're talking about well Romeo

You would have to go to jail what I didn't do anything. It wasn't me until I find new evidence

You're going to jail Romeo follow me

Okay

Gather up pups rebels in trouble and now the pups are gonna be on the double Ryder I saw the mr.

Police officer Jake Romeo to jail Romeo, but he didn't do anything wait a minute

Maybe Romeo's invention the healing wand made rubble turn into a giant

If it was Romeo's invention then maybe he can fix this and turn rubble into a normal publican

Right marshal that means the partial have to go rescue Romeo from Jill. Let's go paw Patrol

Romeo returning rubble into this giant pup and making a big mess you're going to jail I

Didn't do anything. Let me out. I don't think so Romeo

Mr.. Police officer hurry Ryder you heard the news rubble turned into a giant

Yes, I know, and it wasn't Romeo's fault

It wasn't but rubble said Romeo

Rubble said Romeo because Romeo was the one that helped him see Bravo fell down the slide

And hurt his paw and it was Romeo that used the healing want to help rebel

But then there was the side effect and rebel turned into a giant it was an accident

Oh, it was yeah, but I'm sure if you let Romeo out he can turn trouble back into a small puff

But what about the big musta trouble made?

Don't worry miss please officer the paw patrol pups already cleaned up everything okay?

Good, then that means. I have to let you out Romeo Romeo

Can you turn rebel back into a small little pup

I

Sure can't Ryder

I figured it out when I was using my invention to heal rebels hurt paw I pressed the wrong bunny

And what I will do is turn him into a giant, but don't worry I can fix it watch this

There we go rubbles back to his normal size Wow good job Romeo

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - S02E35 - Episode Review - Duration: 4:34.

Welcome to Ranger Reviews, a webseries where we look at episodes of the tv show, Power

Rangers and then discuss it!

Today, we're exploring the ninety fifth episode of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as

well as the thirty fifth episode of Season 2, titled "Scavenger Hunt".

We start this episode in Angel Grove Park where Kim, Adam, and Tommy are reading a clue

about how they need to get a picture of something red that goes fast.

Kim and Adam pose in front of a red car, and Tommy takes the photo.

Tommy says that Billy and the others have the other half.

Kim is also REALLY into this.

Zedd says that he's going to send them on a scavenger hunt through different dimensions.

That's… a cool idea!

Rocky, Aisha, and Billy show up at the Youth Center, seeing Bulk and Skull dressed as offensive

Middle Eastern attire, and they introduce Gypsy Abologna, who screams at Billy when

he doubts her power as a fortune seeker.

Bulk and Skull do as she says, getting dizzy and falling.

This is so freakin' racist.

Zedd plans to send the Rangers into the "lost universe" on a scavenger hunt.

He'll open the doorway, and he says that Goldar will get one of the items to turn into

a monster.

At Billy's Lab, Aisha reads a rhyming couplet clue about a king's weapon that attacks

from the sky.

Billy has a toy cannon that doesn't look like a damn cannon at all.

Zedd decides to turn this toy cannon into a monster.

Meanwhile, Billy, Aisha, and Rocky are walking through the park when putties show up.

There's a cool putty fight with the three teens and the putties, and once again, Karan

Ashley is greatly improving in these fight scenes.

The putties grab their bag of scavenger hunt items and run away.

They decide to contact the others to make sure that they're okay.

Kim, Tommy, and Adam are in the hallway at school when they talk to Billy about what

happened.

They decide to make sure that they're on guard for Zordon.

Then, Bulk, Skull, and Gypsy Abologna show up, and whatever, they fall on the ground.

Somehow, this makes Kim realize that they need to find a whistle for absolutely no reason

whatsoever.

Zedd demands the cannon toy, and Goldar says that it's in the center of the park for

no reason, and he creates Cannon Top.

They really gave up on monster names this season, huh?

Alpha and Zordon have alarms coming out the wazoo, and they see Cannon Top attacking in

the park.

They contact the Rangers, and he tells them about how this monster could send them into

an intergalactic dimension of no return.

They all morph, and now we're literally seeing the same fight footage from LAST EPISODE

HAPPENING.

My god, what is happening here?!

Then, they decide to form the Power Blaster, and it's weird to hear the three new Rangers

call out the weapon names.

They fire, and Zedd says "screw this, make it grow".

Cannon Top grow giant, and they call out their Thunderzords and the White Tigerzord, which

the Red Dragon Thunderzord in Warrior Mode rides into battle.

At the Command Center, Alpha says that Zedd has succeeded in opening the Lost Dimension

so I guess those are some sort of stakes for this fight?

Tommy calls for the Thunder Ultrazord, so Tor shows up, standing up and firing at Cannon

Top before the White Tiger Thunderzord converts into Warrior Mode.

The rest come and combine to form the Mega Tigerzord, stepping through explosions.

Alpha is freaking out, and Zordon says "have faith in Tommy as leader".

This turning into a damn cult.

Then, the Mega Tigerzord uses its Firebird finisher, just destroying the monster.

Remember when we called out the Ultrazord?

Yeah, that was a complete lie.

Then, the two giant robots shake hands for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

At the Youth Center, the teens run in, looking for the last thing on their Scavenger Hunt

list, and they need a picture of the Power Rangers, which Ernie has for absolutely no

reason whatsoever.

Gypsy Abologna comes in, pointing out at the teens, thinking she has the Rangers pegged,

but turns out, she just found the picture or something?

Then Rocky says that they need to work on their magic act or something.

The teens dump all their items on the judge's table, and after absolutely zero deliberation,

they of course win.

Whatever, the end.

This episode was painful, but I know why a bit.

It was shot around the same time when the movie was being filmed in Australia, and it

was one of the only scripts that was written prior to the original three leaving.

Therefore, they had to scramble a bit in getting it in the can, so sometimes, things just don't

make any sense whatsoever.

Honestly though, it's not that it was bad.

It was just so incredibly boring, which is an even bigger sin in my book if it's an

episode of Power Rangers.

Please, god, let next time be better, but until then, may the power protect you!

Black Panther Review - The Peril of Black Utopia | Ahsante the Artist - Duration: 12:31.

What happens when black people are allowed to thrive?

Black panther was an experience.

Not only was it a fun superhero movie, it was also a social commentary, it was also

a demonstration of the power of black women, it was also black excellence and opulence

on display, the riches abound.

It was so refreshing to see.

And it also makes a statement about why that black utopia is out of reach, and what the

pitfall, what that perilous flaw in the black community is really about.

OPEN

Hey, it's ya girl Ahsante helping you move consciously and creatively through life, so

lets go.

Let me start this review off by saying that I am not a superhero aficionado.

I didn't know what MCU stood for I had to google it.

And I actually don't know much about the details of the superhero universes.

But you know I am too Black and proud to not take my butt to the theater, putting my money

where my mouth is, ok.

I have a few points I want to make about this movie but first I want to just bask in what

I thought was glorious about it.

And don't worry this first part of the review is spoiler-free, I will let you know when

the spoilers are coming, not yet.

The movie was chock-full of those classic conflicts of legal duty vs. moral duty.

War vs. peace, revenge vs. reconciliation, all that good stuff.

I also love that this was a story for us, by us, about us.

Black ensemble, black lead, black villain, black director, black writer, blackity black

black.

And of course from a representation standpoint it's phenomenal to see a cast of strong black

characters, not dependent on white people, not subjected by white people.

So often when you have movies that star black people it's about how poor and sad and tragic

their lives are, aww isn't it sad.

But this is not a black sorrow movie, not a movie about being so many years a slave,

not a movie where *song* nobody knows the trouble I've seen.

Nah, we get some black joy and black love and black power in this movie hello.

The actors were amazing

The sets - amazing

The costume designs - lit, I mean gorgeous just the layering, the colors the adornment,

the attention to detail

I see you production designer Hannah Beachler and costume designer Ruth Carter - get it

going, what's good

I also have to shout out to Shuri, and the advances that occur when black women thrive.

Shuri is Black Panther's sister, princess of Wakanda,

and I love that she is the technological genius, not just behind the black panther, but behind

all of wakanda.

Like yes I designed this entire transportation system.

Yes I designed this virtual driving system.

Yes I know you think these beads are fine but I'm actually going to improve them and

just because somethings works well now doesn't mean it can't be better - yes black excellence!

I love the theme that sometimes it's better to be underestimated.

I'll just be over here putting in work and receiving my blessings, and I don't have

to brag about it.

I'll just be over here killing the game don't you worry about it.

I'm just minding my own business.

That is how I roll a lot of the time.

I love the nod to stolen African artifacts that hang in British and American collections

-

yup, did a unit on that during my art history days.

I was like - accurate!

I will also say that there are some valid criticisms to the film.

One was the lack of humor, and I agree that while there was more humor towards the beginning

and there were a couple of funny moments, the movie is by a large pretty serious in

tone.

And another things some folks are saying is that the Black Panther himself isn't super

interesting as a character as far as his motivations and doesn't go through much character development,

which is debatable and you have to ask yourself how his compares to other superhero's backstories,

but I think any simplicity in Black Panther's character just leaves room for a complex statement

being made overall,

it leaves room to reflect on the world of Wakanda and it's flaws, which I'll get

to in a bit.

And it leaves room for the women to shine, which I'm not mad about.

But I do think that the main draw of the film is the representation,

having strong leading black characters, strong black women warriors, having a celebration

of African inspired culture, giving people a sense of pride, and I think that is incredibly

valuable, in and of itself.

So overall I loved it, but let's go a little deeper.

There is a lot to get into with this movie, and yes this going to get into some analysis

so there will be spoilers ahead, be forewarned.

If you don't want spoilers stop here and skip to this part of the video - timecode

in the description.

Do doody do do.

Ok, so.

There are two overarching things I want to touch on as lessons from this film, and the

first is the role that emotions and empathy play in leadership.

By Wakanda's rules, the only thing that someone has to do to become black panther

is win a fight.

There's no council of elders has to vote, there are no other tests of mental agility

or strategy or moral compass, there's nothing about needing to be raised in Wakanda, .

It's just who's up to challenge - can you win the fight.

The problem comes when another character is a better fighter, but not a better king - that's

the point.

The film points out the flaw in traditional thought, and here it's literally Wakandan

tradition, that prowess and might make you the best leader.

Instead, the side that wins in the end values empathy, and reverence, and intelligence,

and consideration.

In the end, the problem is not solved by the biggest dude, or the toughest dude.

T'challa is someone who shows his emotion and his love for his family, and for his country.

And during their challenge, Killmonger tries to frame this emotion as weakness,

but in the end T'challa comes out on top, and his emotions don't make him any less

strong, any less of a man, of a king, of a black panther.

He is connected to his emotions in a healthy way that allows him to have his priorities

straight.

And T'challa even in his victory was merciful and offered to save Killmonger.

In T'challa's challenge with the White Gorilla he pushed him to yield, rather than

simply focusing on defeat.

This is exemplary leadership, in the film's eyes.

Even when you talk about the black panther's powers, they gear towards someone who is merciful

and empathetic.

The power of the black panther and the heart shaped herb is to heal, which is something

done out of love.

His suit is not made for attack, it's made for defense.

His suit absorbs the kinetic energy that someone else is trying to use against him, and uses

that same force to repel the attacker.

The powers are made for a man who is a protector, not an aggressor.

This movie flips gender norms not only in showing a leading man who is very connected

to his emotions, but also in showing some strong, powerful, warrior women.

The kings body guards were all women.

The person who's known as the fiercest warrior in the land, is a woman.

The people who do a lot of driving the plot forward are women.

They're the ones with strong moral compass who take up arms against Killmonger as he

takes the throne.

This is some literally kickass representation.

And there's this great moment in the all out fight - which is pretty much boys vs.

girls, blue vs. pink, like we a little bit went back to kindergarten if kindergarten

was a fight to the death.

Oyoke, who leads the women warriors is like I have the strength, and I have the sensitivity,

your rhino will yield because he loves me let me get them licks - but I will kill you

for my country.

And then my boy has to yield.

My boy has to yield.

Love conquers all.

All you need is love - babananana

The second overarching lesson of the film is that without recognizing and reconciling

our history, we will never be able to move forward.

I thought one of the most striking parts of the film was where we've already seen T'challa

go back to his past before taking the throne

we saw his father as one of the panther ancestors come down from his big family tree, and they

were in this vast African landscape.

And then we see Killmonger go back to his past, and he's back to the same apartment

we that saw earlier, that's all he has.

And the only person there is his dad.

And I was like - oh!

No mythical landscape for him?

What does Killmonger imagine that his past is like?

What he has in his past is not vast and wide it's this limited landscape with 1 ancestor.

By the way, where is this boy's momma?

And I see this as a metaphor for the heritage that Black Americans have access to, as opposed

to the heritage Black people from the continent can access.

As a Black American descendant of slaves, I don't have the same huge family tree,

I have the bit of it that's in America.

And that's all that Killmonger knows.

And he is unable to go back and reconcile his history, so he is unable to move forward.

Not only can he not see any of his ancestors, where is this boy's mother by the way.

But he can't reconcile the trauma of his father's death.

He's unable to forgive the sins of his ancestors, and therefore he cannot move on.

He is stuck in that moment, and he is stuck in an attitude of vengeance.

And you could make the connection between Black Panther killing his brother in America

while abandoning his American nephew

and Powerful Africans during the transatlantic slave trade selling their less powerful African

brothers into slavery leaving them fatherless to fend for themselves in America - you could

make that connection.

And Killmonger represents a lot of that unresolved resentment and trauma - taken to the extreme

of course.

But for Americans, it makes the point that until we fully acknowledge and condemn and

reconcile the sins of slavery and segregation and ghettoization all it's repercussions

in our past -

which some people still can't even acknowledge and condemn today.

Until we reconcile that, we won't be able to move forward.

I think it speaks volumes that the movie starts with the ghetto, the first frame is of the

make-shift basketball hoop, that's where this conflict all stems from.

And the film ends with the ghetto - with T'challa bringing in technology and innovation and

wanting to give back to this community and build it up, that is the ending solution.

T'challa is also unable to move forward without first going back.

Not only in the tradition of someone having to go back to their past before they ascend

to the throne,

but also before T'challa is revived and given this second chance, he goes back to

that mythical family tree and confronts his father about his sin.

T'challa has to go back and reconcile this problem that his father has caused, before

he can move forward, defeat Killmonger, and rule his country.

I think it's interesting that in the movie, we are our own villains.

Which on the one hand will happen if you're making it a black ensemble cast, the bad guys

will also be black,

but on the other hand it makes a point.

Yes you will have the white folks like Claw who are trying to come in and rob us of our

resources.

Yes you will have the white folks like Mr. CIA who think they know so much and need to

be schooled.

"I made this plane American standard for you sweety I'll walk you through this"

But we also have this inner turmoil.

And more specifically we are fighting against the legacy of colonization and slavery and

generational trauma that we have been subjected to, that Killmonger represents.

And the pitfalls of that black Utopia of Wakanda was in it's prior failure to reconcile those

issues of the past.

And there have always been disagreements within the black community about how to address those

things.

Do we go out and fight fire with fire, take an eye for an eye.

Or do we practice non violence and try to go about things more diplomatically.

Do we go with the mentality of everyone has to pick themselves up by their bootstraps

and work with what they have.

Or should we always be pushing for more, more opportunities and more access, and do the

talented tenth have a responsibility to push the rest of the race forward.

Aaaaand welcome back for my non-spoiler crew, you're in the right place.

But that's a lot of what Wakanda is struggling with.

Should black excellence be responsible for uplifting black people world-wide?

Should we handle black progress through violence or through laws and agreements.

And it's also struggling with what a lot of developed nations struggle with - isolationism

vs. intervention.

What right does Wakanda have to meddle in the affairs of other countries, especially

as people who's brethren have been so affected by colonization and meddling by predominately

white countries.

That along with ideas of looking back in order to move forward, and the role of emotions

and empathy in leadership, were some of the big themes I took away from the movie.

Other than the fact that black people are amazing, powerful, regal, and brilliant.

If you're new here and you're interested in social awareness, culture, and personal

development, then you should subscribe to get new videos from me every week.

And if you're into real life black panthers and black activists, then you should check

out my last video on Lorraine Hansberry who was more of an activist then you probably

realized.

And I mean, you want to talk about positive representation for Black Folks, you gotta

talk about her.

Big thanks to my patreon patrons, you all are so important in helping me to grow and

sustain this channel.

In the comments, let me know what you thought of Black Panther, because I know you went

to see it.

Oh I know you're not just going to skip out on Black Panther like that.

Even if you haven't seen it yet, I hope you enjoyed this review, but seriously go

see it.

As always, remember to live spiritedly and think creatively, and I will see you next

time.

What's making me happy this week is the fact that Black Panther is shattering all these

box office records!

Yahs!

It's important that this movie does well because then they'll make more movies like it, and

it will show that a Black ensemble cast can really succeed.

So, at this rate there'll be a Black Panther 8 which I'm excited about.

And also making me happy this week was the fact that I got a nice long 3 day weekend

for President's Day, so that was nice.

Welp, I'm going to go keep rooting for everybody Black, I'll be right back!

To find a job is like a haystack needle.

Cause where he lives, they don't use colored people.

Living just enough, just enough for the city.

Seoul to give Ivanka Trump warm reception for South Korea trip - Duration: 2:17.

Ivanka Trump will be in South Korea for the Olympic closing ceremony.

Her visit could be a chance to convince Washington to allow inter-Korean talks.

Kwon Jang-ho explains how the Moon administration could be driven by a singular purpose when

welcoming America's first daughter.

Seoul is preparing a warm welcome for Ivanka Trump for her trip to South Korea later this

week.

She is set to arrive on Friday and stay for three nights.

The main purpose of her visit will be to lead the U.S. delegation at the closing ceremony

of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics on Sunday, where she is expected to be seated next to

President Moon Jae-in.

Foreign ministry officials have said that a separate meeting between the two is also

likely over the weekend.

There's also talk that President Moon, or another senior official, such as Seoul's foreign

minister Kang Kyung-wha, might accompany Ivanka Trump to Olympic events to support Team USA.

Seoul is also reportedly arranging events that are in line with her role as an advocate

for women's rights and empowerment.

It's unusual for the family member of a world leader to receive such treatment -- a foreign

ministry official has said that there are no official guidelines to help them prepare.

But Seoul's lavish reception of Kim Yo-jung , North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's sister,

who came as part of the North Korean delegation for the opening ceremony, has led to pressure

to provide similar hospitality to the U.S. first daughter.

Ivanka Trump is also considered to have her father's ear, and Seoul is looking to court

her potential influence, at a time when South Korea looks to orchestrate talks with North

Korea.

But observers aren't expecting too much from the visit.

"I don't think there should be any expectation, I think this should be about creating a good

mood and understanding.

I think we need to be careful not to go too far in overestimating her influence over the

President.

But at the same time I don't think it hurts the South Korean government to have a good

relationship with some of the closest advisors to President Trump, and Ivanka Trump clearly

is one of them."

When U.S. Vice President Mike Pence came for the opening ceremony, he met with a group

of North Korean defectors to highlight North Korea's human rights abuses.

A similar event might also be on the cards for Ivanka Trump to make a similar statement

and keep the pressure on Pyongyang.

You Need To ADOPT THIS MINDSET (Best Motivational Video Ever) - Duration: 28:01.

the idea that failure is your tool

failure is the evolution towards being a

stronger version of yourself you've got

to fail embrace failure love failure

fail as many times as you possibly can

so that you can get one step closer to

having that thing happening

[Music]

it's no poetic saying that you

become what you think about and that the

world is your mirror

we are literally creating our world to

the harbour

in how our body responds to the basin

things your body your energy

[Music]

oh I don't feel so good today

get your lazy sick ass about a bed this

requires a warrior mindset I think

that's a part of what's lacking it's

interesting you know the war

these questions more I meet you guys and

more more I'm realizing we ain't got

enough warriors in the

my key party or victim lovers and

clever magicians addicted

oh I love this

I'm passionate about this

and it's like business just I keep

falling in love with different

never get anything done and the clever

the clever magician is the cynic

at a distance well I know

it

but you know what

interested in your dark

wizarding about

the patient about stuff

and I'm keeping it

the emotion

devote yourself to something bigger be

decisive about what you're gonna do say

I'm gonna do it and that's it and then

be disciplined about getting it done

every single day whether you be like it

or not some decisions of major decisions

and also there are a lot of small

decisions that we don't make that they

tax our minds they drain our energy they

create a lot of anxiety and nervousness

and mental torment because we don't take

care of it we decide not to decide which

is a decision deciding to decide to act

it's a major major challenge for all of

us at different points in different

areas of our lives and there are things

that happen to us along the way

experiences that we have that prevent us

from working through the mental block of

acting of doing those things that we

know we ought to do and so what I want

you to think about is what is there that

you know you need to do that you want to

do this but for some reason or another

you've been holding back for some reason

or another you just have not been able

to gather your nerves or be able to work

through the procrastinating or putting

it off or justifying or blaming some

reason or another you just haven't done

it and you know you ought to do this you

really want to do this but you don't

know why you haven't done it anybody

know what I'm talking about Rachel Ann

please okay then I've got comfort here

this evening I'm not talking to myself

now first of all what we know that this

is not easy because in order to begin to

reinvent your life you've got to make a

conscious deliberate determined effort

that you really got to put all of

yourself into it it's very challenging

to act to do those things that times

when you're looking at if you say I know

I need to do this but I don't feel like

it I don't want to do it I know I need

to do it yet leave me alone no I don't

want to do it so what do we do one of

those things that that cause us to do

like that I think that among the things

that prevent us from acting is the fear

of failure and if you've already failed

you don't want to fail again the pain of

that the disappointment the fear of loss

is another thing because many times when

we do those things that we know we need

to do we feel that we might lose

somebody that we love very much in care

about we don't want to hurt anybody

many of us don't act because we want

other people's approval we want

everybody to like us and to accept us

and that's not possible

many of us don't do the things that we

want to do and don't act because of lack

of self-confidence

we don't believe enough in ourselves I

have a friend who's been working on a

job where she's miserable talented want

to go to another place that she can do

what she wants to do and make the kind

of money that she would like to make and

had had some offers but because of her

fear and her lack of self-confidence of

things might not work out she won't take

a chance on herself so there she is

spending eight hours a day five days a

week and she's miserable she hates to go

to work they're not paying what she's

worth she knows it but yet and still she

won't do that which she knows she must

do and it's wearing out that a lot of

people that their jobs are making them

sick because they won't act you check

out the absenteeism and the people that

are depressed you see them coming to

work angry how you doing I don't

just leave me alone it's not even 9

o'clock yet you're talking about good

morning that days you're going to work

you want to just keep drive past a job

you know you don't want to stop because

it's not in sync with who you are

but you haven't acted have another

friend it's God brilliant he's a

business consultant he helped a lot of

people get their business started and

people come to him because they know

he's knowledgeable but this guy won't

start his own business now he's very

smart he can do it everybody believes in

him except him and he's so smart he's

talked himself out of well the numbers

aren't right so there are many reasons

why we don't act there are other things

though that affect us is that not

wanting to take personal responsibility

we want somebody else to do it and we

many times we pick up our inability to

do certain things from people that we

love people that we admire we identify

with them and we live in the context of

their ideas their opinions and their

life patterns we buy into it

unconsciously my mother is a pack rat

she keeps everything she doesn't throw

anything away and I have unconsciously

picked that up now my mother never said

let me show you how to keep everything

less than just clutter things I

unconsciously picked that up many times

unconsciously we try to honor the people

we love by being like them by the same

token I realized something about myself

when I had some major decisions to make

and I found myself acting like my mother

see my mother's the kind of person that

when she has a problem with one of the

other foster children that she adopted

she won't confront them she will call me

less why don't you tell Linda to move

she's lazy she won't go to work she runs

the street all day and then she comes

home and wants to sleep all day and I

think she's doing drugs I said but mama

why don't you tell Linda that I bought

the house for you I told you when she

wanted to come home don't let a grown

person come there and take care of them

you let her in well after all she's my

child mama

then you handle that when I tell her to

leave she say mama said I can stay mama

can I said you tell her yes and then you

call me say she's still here

[Applause]

why worried me with this so mama hasn't

developed the courage to act on that

some people won't act until there's a

crises situation when Linda stop

stealing from Mama and took a Social

Security check to get some drugs

mama got some courage to say get out of

here don't ever come back but she

wouldn't do it until then and say we

don't have to wait until a crisis

situation I have a friend that had been

having a challenge with losing weight

both of us have been dealing with that

challenge and for the past 40 years he's

always seemed like weighing over 235

pounds and so he said man I just can't

lose weight I'm big-boned ik I said but

I've never seen any fat skeletons

no you need to act on your health you

can change this well you don't have to

go to your grave fat we're all digging

early grades without teeth we don't have

to do this they need to have a support

group around M&M peanuts you want a

support group on something and throw

Snickers in there too but and I could

tell you about the help we need with

that so what happened with bud though he

became ill a few weeks ago see but in

the last few weeks has lost more weight

than he's ever lost even when we were

competing with each other

betting a lot of money but what happened

was bud became diabetic

he went into an insulin shock he didn't

know that he was diabetic his blood

sugar became high and the doctor said to

him you are diabetic you're gonna have

to have insulin shots every day you're

gonna have to change your diet and let

me tell you what's going to happen if

you don't do what we tell you to do

number one there's a possibility that

you can become an amputee number two you

can go blind three you can become

impotent buts they help me

[Laughter]

let go guys win with Pawan when Paul

broke out of jail Agassi tell me what I

must do to be saved what were to be seen

I said but you wanted one of my peanut

butter and jelly sandwiches no I said

but I can't believe you eating

vegetables but you're exercising he said

that's right a jogger did please do now

he had the ability to do it before but

there's some people it takes that kind

of crises to bring them into reality in

order for them to act in their own best

interest some people have to hit rock

bottom in order to rise I don't know why

you want to begin to look out on your

life and what you want for you and I

think that when we begin to focus in the

area of what does it take for us to act

I think we can say events can inspire us

to act at that particular event in his

life circumstances friend of mine he

wanted to do something and he just did

not have the motivation in the drive and

the confidence within himself but his

circumstances changed overnight through

an acquisition of the company that he

worked for he lost his job through the

inspiration of desperation he had to act

see life also of things that can inspire

us that see we don't have the courage

and that's what it takes courage it

takes guts to do that which you know you

need to do if you don't have the courage

to act life many times will move on you

and make you act

live will whip your butt so bad

you will be so miserable you will catch

so much hell you say yes I will do it

what do you want me to do take me friend

of mine say I can't stop smoking I can't

stop smoking doctor said Sam Mac Suraj

you have emphysema say I've never picked

up another cigarette and said look of

those stupid people smoking Sam you did

it for 35 years how can you talk about

people while I was different I'm trying

to help them they don't have to do the

same thing I did but be compassionate

Sam is it interesting how quickly we

forget so I'm saying that look at

something in your life it might be just

writing a letter to somebody to say

thank you it might be just to apologize

to somebody I had a confrontation and

the Penobscot building with the security

guard there he responded to me what I

perceived as a negative way and he and I

engaged in an argument I did not like

the way I handled that I avoided going

through the front door for a long time

because I didn't want to face it finally

I decided to act and I went up to him

and said I want to apologize to you for

the way in which I handled this argument

we had the other day I was wrong I hope

you accept my apology he said I do and I

said thank you very much I felt relieved

now when you decide to act it's not

always going to be like that a friend of

mine did some work for me

it was below par to say the least I knew

that this guy was capable of doing

better work I knew that he also had a

fragile ego so I was trying to think of

what is the most sensitive way in which

I can share this information with him

because I wanted him to do my work over

I was going to pay him for what he did

but I needed my work done right but I

was afraid that I would hurt his

feelings I was very very meticulous and

how I approached him and I said let me

share this with you you know I care

about you and that you are very talented

and gifted person and you and I both

know that what you have given me is not

a true reflection of your

talents and abilities and I'm saying

let's go back in the studio and do this

again and he said to me I'm gonna forget

you ever said that

I was wiped out he never spoke to me

again now when you decide to act you're

gonna have some people like that we're

no longer friends I lost sleep over that

ladies and gentlemen as I can't believe

that I remember setting up one night

looking at the phone I said I gotta call

him said no that's it don't forget that

I caught men looking we've been knowing

each other too long to allow this to

come between us he said don't call me

anymore no no and then I wanted to think

about how what can I do to make it up to

him and then something came to me les

what do you have to prove see many

things we don't do is because the fact

we want people to like us there's some

necessary losses in life when you decide

acting in your best interest you're

gonna lose some friends everybody's not

going to approve of you there's some

people that won't like you who do you

think you are you're arrogant what do

you think you can do you think you'd get

away with that you're selfish thanks I

got that

it's my life and so what I'm saying to

you is that as you begin to look out on

your life this is challenging this is

not easy acting so what are the things

that we can begin to do to harness our

will number one you've got to bring it

out and look at it you've got to take

the power out of it

you've got to expose it to the truth and

the truth is that it has no power over

you

so write down something you want to act

on but for some reason that you've been

holding back and look at it the next

thing is ask yourself the question is it

helping you to continue to put it off if

it's an asset for you to continue to

procrastinate then continue to do that

but if it's a liability for you if it's

causing you some mental and some

emotional challenges or perhaps a

financial problem look at that examine

that for what it is next step ask

yourself what's blocking you what's

preventing you from acting why don't you

have the courage to handle that why

won't you face that what are you running

away from

what kind of avoidance behavior are you

engaged in next is what is the worst

thing that can happen when you take

action so I looked at that and I said

what's the worst thing can happen when I

tell him this he can say I don't like

you and he did not what happened I

experienced that I looked at that I saw

that and guess what ladies and gentlemen

I didn't die my feelings were hurt a

little bit I lost some sleep about it

and sometimes I think about it when I

Drive past his house but I'm still here

it's uncomfortable but it's okay it

doesn't bother me anymore I've gotten

used to it now so what is the worst

thing that can happen I want you to

visualize that experience that feel the

nervousness in the discomfort and the

more you run it in your mind the less

power that it will have next is how will

you feel after taking this action

I felt a sense of personal achievement

when I face somebody that has been my

mentor for years and for years there was

something I wanted to tell him and I

didn't have the courage to tell him

because it was always I was the student

he was the teacher

it was always I looked up to him and

admired him and held him in high esteem

and I was always grateful and thankful

for the impact that he had on my life

and I loved him so much I didn't have

the courage to say to him please stop

drinking so much you're an alcoholic you

need help I didn't have the courage

because I was afraid that he might not

like me I was afraid that he might be

hurt and crushed that we would no longer

be friends I didn't want to jeopardize

what we had

I loved him a great deal and I didn't I

didn't know how this would affect our

relationship and I didn't even want him

to know that I knew that he was an

alcoholic and so I was a coward I was

spineless in the name of love I did it

to justify to myself to stop from

helping somebody that I loved from dying

I said I love him so much I just can't

tell him this I I don't even know how he

would handle it to know that I know that

he's an alcoholic and finally after

years I developed the courage to face my

teacher my mentor who has molded me who

looks at me now and wanted to do what

I'm doing now and did not do it came at

a different time and it wasn't time for

what he brought and he's living through

me and I had to face this man who's been

like a father to me

yes I got to tell you something you've

got a problem

I love you very much please stop

drinking you're killing yourself it's

not just social you do it every day you

need help and whatever I can do to

support you in that I will but please

stop and he looked at me and I had no

idea what how he was going to handle

that and first there was like I dare you

and we just looked at each other and

then I reached out to embrace him and

we've never ever embraced Man macho

never hugged I hugged him and he just

stood there with his arm straight he

couldn't raise his arms to hug me back

and he was shocked and after he got over

the initial shock when he could bring

himself to speak to maintain his

composure because he could never afford

to let me his students see him

vulnerable or admit that I was right he

said I'll be seeing you that's a yes sir

I should tell you why fight be by the

house to see they'll see y'all before I

leave when he walked away at first I was

very depressed about it I said well

maybe it wasn't my place to do this and

you know when you act you're gonna have

some second thoughts then I said no no

no I did what I felt I did it because I

feel very strongly about this and

fortunately he called me back a few

weeks later and left word with the

answering service Leslie Brown I just

want to say thank you and hung up

that was a good feeling when we look out

on our lives you ask the question what

are you going to do look at as you think

about this that you know you need to

handle what are you going to do and then

write down three strong reasons on why

you know you must take action and be

explicit and descriptive in your reasons

because your reasons have power your

reasons will drive you when you have

doubt when your faith becomes weak your

reasons will fortify your faith when you

have an inner conversation say no don't

do that

your reasons will become your rod and

your staff to comfort you to take you

through those challenging moments so

write down your reasons and what you

will find but when you decide to act

when you decide to take life on and let

me warn you it can be painful it will be

uncomfortable and that's where the

growth is when you are uncomfortable

when you're stretching out when you're

taking life by the color you're going to

get thrown to the ground again and again

and again but when you have

determination and you know that what

you're doing is right that gives you

your life it gives a special meaning and

power to you you have some power from on

aha

you will discover some things about

yourself that will begin to electrify

your personality you begin to discover

some things about you that you don't

know you've got when you put yourself in

that type of challenging situation

repeat after me please I can go into

action on anything in my life

nothing is stopping me but me no

challenge in my life

as any power over me here's something

that Howard Thurman wrote on the

decision to act he said it's a wondrous

thing that a decision to act releases

energy in the personality for days on in

a person may drift along without much

energy having no particular sense of

direction and having no will to change

then something happens to alter the

pattern it may be something very simple

and inconsequential in itself but it

stabs awake it alarms it disturbs in a

flash one gets a vivid picture oneself

and it passes the result is decision

shop definitive decision and the wake of

the decision yes even as a part of the

decision itself energy is released the

act of decision sweeps all before it and

the life of the individual may be

changed forever when you decide to make

decisions to add you begin to access

power within you that will increase your

self-esteem that will increase and

enhance your personal power but that

puts you in charge of life and life has

a whole new meaning for you

there's a sense of personal freedom

doesn't mean you're not gonna have any

struggles doesn't mean that you're not

gonna have any challenges doesn't mean

that you're not going to suffer any

defeats no no no doesn't mean bad but

what it does mean that you putting

yourself in the position to grow you

putting yourself in line with your

higher calling and your higher self

and

that's what life is about

[Music]

[Music]

will you join me this affirmation please

everybody stand please I'm standing up

to life and the challenges in my life

I'm going to use all of me all of my

courage my faith determination and any

help and support that I can give anyone

to realize their greatness together we

can shake somebody's hand on your right

and left and say you've got what it

takes

Various efforts being made for successful constitutional revision - Duration: 1:55.

One of the most hotly debated topics in Korea is Constitutional revision.

While most agree on the need for it, many are at odds on how it should be changed.

According to our Park Hee-jun, efforts are ongoing to ensure a smooth and peaceful process.

The National Assembly is racing against time to make progress on finalizing a proposal

for a constitutional amendment,... which the government is pushing to put to a national

vote during the local elections in June.

A seminar, co-hosted by the National Assembly Research Service and the Korean Association

of Party Studies,... was held Tuesday to discuss the pressing issue.

Lawmakers, professors, and members of the press gathered at the National Assembly to

share their views on the vitality of an amendment,... and to provide insight on how to reach a consensus.

"I believe we have what's needed for a successful revision.

Now we just need all lawmakers to reach a consensus and for the public to be part of

that law.

I hope that today's debate will act as an impetus for the amendment."

Although there were various opinions on issues, such as how to limit the president's power,...

all participants agreed that the constitutional revision should reflect the willingness of

the government to best serve the people.

And the government is already striving for that goal.

Its special public advisory committee on the Constitution launched a website on Monday,...

to gather public opinion on the various issues surrounding the constitutional revision.

The general public can not only voice their opinions on existing details regarding the

Constitution,... but also bring up new questions that they wish to add to the revision.

"In order for the vote to be held alongside the local elections, the proposal needs to

be set by mid-March.

The government is pushing for a Constitution that best reflects recent social and economic

changes,... and one that also follows the wishes of the Korean people.

Park Hee-jun, Arirang News."
