10 Uncomfortable Signs Youre Actually Becoming The Person Youre Meant To Be

1. YOU DO EVERYTHING BY YOURSELF AND FEEL ISOLATED FROM OTHERS.

The more mature you are, the more you can handle everything by yourself and it feels

like you dont want to be anyones burden. Youve even always said, Ive got this,

to those who are sincerely willing to help you.

More often than not, you feel lonely and isolated, but you feel proud of yourself for being strong

and independent at the same time.

2. YOU REALIZE THAT YOU HAVE SOME ISSUES WITH YOURSELF.

You know exactly what you have issues to overcome; whether its about your anxiety, mood swings,

trust issues, or her issues which disturb your well-being.

You will acknowledge when, how, and in what condition those issues will appear and youll

give your best efforts to overcome them.

3. YOU HAVE A STRONG DESIRE TO CUT OFF SOME UNNECESSARY RELATIONSHIPS.

As time goes by, you will feel that you have a lot of acquaintances, but few friends. You

begin to question your relationships with other people; you start to realize whos

real and whos not, who wants to stay or vice versa.

Youll feel disappointed, guilty, and sad towards losing some friends that you loved,

but youre brave enough to leave the relationships which were toxic and emotionally abused your

inner self.

4. ITS HARD FOR YOU TO TRUST PEOPLE. Not only because youre being selective

about your friends, but also because you wont easily buy peoples bullshit. Youve been

disappointed a lot of times by betrayals and broken promises; you know exactly how the

real world works.

But, once you believe in some people, you will be loyal to them and you will do anything

to maintain that relationship.

5. YOU ALWAYS FEEL THAT YOUR LIFE IS BORING. Its hard for you to feel satisfied with

your life; theres always something more you would like to achieve. The same routines

and work will bore you to death and youll always be thinking, Whats next? which

makes you always want to strive more.

Moreover, your life is boring because you have less unnecessary drama in your life-

which is something to be proud of.

6. YOU ARE TOO FAMILIAR WITH THE FEELING OF SADNESS.

For you, life has no sugar coats; there are days when you feel hopeful, but there are

also times when you feel like youre at the lowest point of your life. You are able

to accept the broken hearts, failures, disappointment, and the feeling of sadness.

You acknowledge that life is not always about being happy. But even though you feel the

pain, you are able to bounce back again and realize that there were lessons from everything

that happened.

7. YOU ALWAYS FEEL LIKE YOURE RUNNING OUT OF TIME.

More often than not, you feel that 24 hours a day are not enough. You barely have enough

sleep and you always find yourself in busy situations. Its a struggle for you to spare

time for yourself and your loved ones.

There will always be something you have to do and sometimes you are too hard on yourself

in doing things. This means that you have a strong determination to be successful.

8. YOU REGRET THE MISTAKES YOUVE MADE IN THE PAST.

Its easy for you to blame yourself for any mistakes that you made in the past. You

acknowledge that youve made some bad decisions and sometimes you want everything to go back

to how it used to be.

But, you realize that regret will take you nowhere and the only thing that you can do

is to not repeat the same mistakes youve done.

9. YOU ALWAYS MISS YOUR CHILDHOOD, FAMILY, AND YOUR LOVED ONES.

Growing up sucks and you always find yourself looking back to your old life when everything

was according to its place. You live on your own and being separated from your family and

loved ones are not easy at all.

But, deep down inside you dont want to give up; youre fully aware that all the

struggles and success will be the best gift for all the people that you love.

10. YOU FEEL LOST, CONFUSED, AND ANXIOUS ABOUT YOUR FUTURE.

You appear to be bold and strong, but most of the time you feel extremely insecure about

your own life. Youve always questioned yourself regarding what you really need and

what your life purpose is.

You dont exactly know how life supposed to be, simply because many unexpected things

happen. But, despite all the confusions and fears, you can manage yourself to always finish

your responsibilities and work.

At the end of the day, you always take things one day at a time and you fully understand

that everything will happen according to your own time zone.

Easy Height Maps - BLENDER TUTORIAL (Blender) - Duration: 18:23.

Hello guys, today I want to show you a very simple way to generate displacement maps

for those who are a little clueless

this type of maps is used to modify the position of vertices in a three-dimensional model

The advantage of this method that I propose is

that we can always add objects to the scene and modify and change their sizes and the map will be modified in real time

so we have a clearer idea of what we are really creating

You can always generate displacement maps using Bake

but, I think this form is a bit simpler

After finishing with the modifications to our objects

add the new ones or see how we really want the scene to be composed

we simply render and we will have a displacement map

that saving in an image format that keeps all the data

it can be used for any thing in the future

In the following example I am using the texture already created to modify and create a brush

in this case, the level of detail depends directly on the degree of subdivision of the mesh we want to sculpt

with the same method we could generate Sameless textures

which we could repeat along a map without noticing the cut between the images

the generated textures could be used to use already in other external programs

not necessarily Blender

here I pose an example with Substance Painter where I can paint in the Normals and Heigh channels

at the same time and generate a very interesting information within my model

I will leave the file in the description of the video for download

or you can stay in the video and learn to make your own

Well the displacement maps are usually images

that go with values of 0 to 1 in gray scale

white being 1 and black being 0

the basic idea of this project is not more than a material which has a gradient texture

that it goes from 0 to 1 from black to white and is controlled by the positions of 2 objects

when we say that the gradient will be controlled by the coordinates of an object

the size of this object becomes the size of the scale of this new object

scale which always comes with the value of 1

it can always be modified and it also be it will be modifying the size of the texture

although in this particular case I want more control

the way to tell it exactly to tell where the beginning is and where the end is

So I resort to using a Driver

to control the scale on the Z axis

of the main object that will control the main texture of the material

this is a very simple Driver controlled by the distance

between the object that controls the texture

and the one that controls the scale of our main object

The result is a material which has a gradient texture

which goes from 0 to 1 and can be controlled with the addition of 2 objects

so it does not matter where we add new objects

if they have this material

they can be controlled by these two

and this is the way we use to generate the base value

which will be the value of 0 and the top value that will be 1

next I show how we could generate three simple maps

of three objects that you already have premodeled

and how to place the controllers to determine

which value goes in 0 and which in 1

and well, that would be all

it is not such a complicated thing

and more after we have done it

we can apply it basically to what we have at hand

and also it can be exportable to other types of programs

then I leave you with some examples made by me

and if you want to download the file, it is in the description of the video

I'll see you in a next one and I'm preparing a video of a weapon that I liked so

we'll see each other next week, maybe.

Easy Way to Go Vegan - Duration: 2:48.

Hey you guys, welcome back to Happy Healin' Vegan. I'm April, your vegan

transition coach and in today's video I'm going to show you some Easy Way to

go Vegan. So, I find that a lot of people actually consider going vegan but

they're too overwhelmed or too scared. Or just don't know where to start. So they

don't ever do it. So let's get started on some easy ways to go vegan so it doesn't

seem so scary. So the first way to go begin would be to go cold turkey and

this means that you would remove all the animal products from your diet including:

meat, dairy, eggs, and honey. And while this is great for some people you know

yourself better than anyone else, and if it doesn't work for you follow

one of the next easy steps. The next way to go vegan is to eliminate one animal

product from your diet per week. So the first week you may remove poultry, the

second week maybe you remove dairy, the third week you can remove beef, the

fourth week you can remove eggs, so on and so on. This way it doesn't seem as

intimidating and you're only removing one thing from your diet every week. The

third way to go vegan would be to convert one meal at a time into a vegan

meal. So for example, the first week you could just have vegan breakfast, the

second week you can have vegan lunches, the third week you can have vegan

dinners, and the fourth week you can have vegan desserts. So this way it still

isn't very overwhelming. You're doing one thing at a time. And finally the fourth

way to go vegan would be to transition your favorite recipes into vegan

versions. So if you love macaroni and cheese maybe you could try a vegan

version of macaroni and cheese. And you would do this for just one meal at a

time and make it super fun. So you guys everyone is different so please pick a

level that works for you and will help you

maintain this diet through your lifetime. Alright you guys. I hope you enjoyed

that video on some easy ways to go vegan. If you want some more information

including resources and how to start grocery shopping, please check out my

video How to go Vegan Overnight. I'll link it below. Also, if you enjoyed this

video make sure to give me a thumbs up, comment below with which level and you

think will work for you, and please make sure to subscribe. I'll see you guys next

week with a brand new video. Bye.

From the Cambrian Explosion to the Great Dying - Duration: 11:58.

Thank you to Audible for supporting PBS Digital Studios

Lemme tell you: There are no dull moments in the story of life.

Sure, within the whole Geologic Time Scale, there may be some episodes that are less exciting

than others.

But the first era of our current eon, the Paleozoic Era, is probably the most deceptively

fascinating time in Earth's history.

I say "deceptively" because, even though Paleozoic means "ancient life", this span

of time -- from 541 million to 252 million years ago -- doesn't have stuff like dinosaurs

or sabre-toothed cats.

So it's often overlooked as a time of primitive and boring creatures.

But the fact is: the Paleozoic Era was truly a make it or break it time for life on Earth.

At the beginning of the Paleozoic, living things were extremely simple and not very

dynamic.

Life was fragile, vulnerable.

But the Paleozoic was also easily the most chaotic of the three eras of our eon – with

near constant revolutions in life, punctuated by catastrophic extinctions.

In fact, by the end of this era, our planet was the closest its has ever gotten

to being devoid of life altogether.

It's the closest that life ever got to just … failing.

So, far from dull, the Paleozoic Era just might be one of the most harrowing chapters

in the story of life on Earth.

For the first three and a half billion years or so that life existed on this planet, things

were simple.

Almost all living things were in the oceans, and most of them couldn't move on their

own.

So, the big, complex ecosystems that we know today -- with active predators and mobile

prey -- didn't really exist.

Pretty much whatever drifted by you was what you ate.

That is, until about 541 million years ago, when the Paleozoic Era began with a period

known as the Cambrian.

And right from the start, things were dramatic.

This burst of evolutionary innovation, which you know as the Cambrian Explosion, was likely

the result of a whole bunch of environmental triggers.

In the Early Cambrian, thanks to a boom among phytoplankton in the oceans, oxygen levels

suddenly ramped up, allowing life to flourish.

Meanwhile, changes in the chemistry of the oceans, brought on by erosion, allowed animals

to develop things like shells and exoskeletons.

And this led to the formation of new body plans that the world had never seen before.

Almost every major group of animals that exists today developed within the first 40 million

years of Cambrian, along with many game-changing adaptations, like calcified hard parts, flexible

limbs, and the very first eyes.

For instance, the first large predatory organisms appeared, like Anomalocaris

which hunted worms and other soft bodied creatures.

And over time, some animals like arthropods developed hard exoskeletons to protect themselves.

But, others -- like Pikaia and Haikouella – went in a

different direction.

They developed the ability to swim, under their own power, with a flexible rod of cartilage

to power their tail.

These ancient swimmers would become the ancestors of the vertebrates.

Major breakthroughs like these resulted in whole new, fantastic ecosystems with complex

food webs that life had not experienced before.

But, this explosion of life couldn't last forever.

The Cambrian ended 488 million years ago in a mysterious mass extinction that saw the

disappearance of many trilobite and mollusk species.

While this extinction is not well understood, a sudden crash in oxygen levels may have been

to blame.

And remember that: Because a lot of the pivotal events in the Paleozoic will hinge on the

amount of oxygen either in the oceans or in the atmosphere.

But the next period, the Ordovician, bounced back with another burst in diversity

-- this one known as The Great Ordovician Biodiversification Event, or GOBE.

You can think of the the GOBE as a kind of sequel of the Cambrian explosion -- a sequel

that was every bit as impressive as the original.

Like the Cambrian event, the GOBE was brought on by a host of changes in the environment.

For one thing, a burst of geological activity about 470 million years ago meant that the continents

were on the move, creating new chains of islands, and with them new, isolated habitats.

And this, combined with changes in sea level and another boost of oxygen in the oceans,

stimulated a lot of rapid change.

For example, this is when the first true fish appear on the scene: ostracoderms

which were jawless

and covered in bony plates

Meanwhile, cephalopods reached new lengths, like the shelled giant Cameroceras

which grew up to 6 metres long!

But while all this was going in the water, things on land were truly revolutionary.

Before the Ordovician, terrestrial life was probably limited to microbes.

But early in the GOBE, the very first land plants sprouted on the primordial rocks.

Based on their fossilized spores, we know these plants were small, like modern mosses.

And if anything, this early greenery might have been too successful.

The massive number of plants on land took in so much carbon dioxide that the Earth's

temperature plummeted and BOOM: ice age.

This cold snap occurred 444 million years ago, just as marine oxygen levels started

to drop.

And this combination caused the most devastating mass extinction that animal life had faced

so far.

The Ordovician-Silurian Extinction Event wiped out 86% of marine species, including many

kinds of trilobites and cephalopods.

As you can tell from the name, it brought an end to the Ordovician, and marked the beginning

of the next period, the Silurian

Life was able to recover once again in the Silurian, this time as the climate gradually

warmed.

Plants, for example, started to spread over the land.

Fossils of early vascular plants, like Cooksonia, first appear in rocks from

this period, as do the first fossils of terrestrial fungi.

The jawless ostracoderms were still the most common swimmers in the sea, and they developed

all sorts of spines and horns, likely to protect themselves from carnivorous sea scorpions,

the Eurypterids.

But by the end of the Silurian, 419 million years ago, a new type of fish learned to bite

back.

Jawed fish, like Entelognathus appeared in the seas, equipped with biting

power that allowed them to tackle prey that the jawless fish couldn't handle.

And the Silurian drew to a close with its own, albeit minor, series of extinction events,

likely brought about by drops in sea level that caused many bottom-dwelling species,

particularly cephalopods, to die out.

The period that followed, the Devonian, was when fish began their takeover of the

seas.

During this time, the earliest sharks make their appearance, but the true kings of the Devonian

were another kind of fish – the placoderms

The largest of these armored, jawed fish filled the niches we associate with whales and sharks

today – including filter feeders like Titanichthys and apex predators like

Dunkleosteus

While the placoderms were conquering the seas, things were getting even more crowded on land.

Arthropods really started to diversify with the first insects and terrestrial

arachnids emerging.

Trees also arose at this time, forming a canopy above the arthropods, and these Devonian forests

became the first major terrestrial ecosystems on earth.

Meanwhile, back at the water's edge, relatives of lobe-finned fish had adapted to spend more

time in the shallows, pulling themselves along muddy shorelines.

Then 397 million years ago, descendents of these critters finally hauled themselves onto

land for the first time.

No skeletons of these ancient pioneers are known, but footprints in Poland show evidence

of these very first tetrapods, animals with four limbs.

By the Late Devonian, 365 million years ago, tetrapods had made their way across the entire

globe, from Acanthostega (ah-kan-thoh-steg-uh) in Greenland to Tulerpeton (too-lur-poh-tuhn)

in Russia.

So the Devonian produced the first complex land ecosystems, while also seeing vertebrates

take center stage in the ocean for the first time.

But, the period ended in, you guessed it, another mass extinction.

This one took place from 375 to 358 million years ago and came in at least two phases.

Together these events are known as the Late Devonian Extinctions, and they seem to have

been caused by a series of drops in oxygen levels in the seas.

By the end of the Devonian, many trilobites and all of the armored placoderms had vanished

from the world's oceans.

Luckily for us and other land animals, at least some early tetrapods survived into the

next period, the Carboniferous.

But these creatures lived in a very different world from the Devonian.

This time, oxygen in the atmosphere ramped up, and this, along with a humid, warm climate,

allowed dense forests and swamps to spread across the continents.

All that oxygen was also a plus for the arthropods, which got HUGE in the Carboniferous.

But the bigger news was a major change among the tetrapods.

Previously, all tetrapods had laid their eggs in water – but around 340 million years

ago, a group of tetrapods called amniotes began laying their eggs with shells that protected

them from drying out.

And this turned out to be a crucial adaptation.

Because it was around this time that the continents began to merge into single supercontinent.

Eventually, over millions of years, it would become Pangea.

This landmass was so big that it was impossible for moisture from the ocean to reach inland.

The result: a severe drop in humidity and temperature that wiped out much of the Carboniferous

forests about 305 million years ago.

It's known today as the Carboniferous Rainforest Collapse.

By the end of this period, about 290 million years ago, much of the forests were replaced by

a giant desert at the heart of the continent, with extensive glaciers in the southern hemisphere.

These arid wastelands would've been uninhabitable for early tetrapods, but not for the amniotes.

And they rapidly split into two major groups – the reptiles and the synapsids.

And both groups spent the last period of the Paleozoic, the Permian, spreading across Pangea.

The synapsids were actually stem-mammals, and they were survivors,

producing the first large terrestrial herbivores, like Dimetrodon

But as the Permian went on, the climate got hotter and drier.

Stem-mammals and reptiles alike were forced to adapt to even harsher conditions.

On the reptile side, there were cattle-sized herbivores like pareiasaurs (par-ee-uh-soars).

Meanwhile, stem-mammals grew even stranger, with the sabre-toothed gorgonopsids

hunting hippo-like omnivores with weird head ornaments, like Estemmenosuchus

But this Permian safari park came to an especially terrifying end 252 million years ago.

It was probably caused by a combination of volcanic activity and climate change, but

the result -- the Permian-Triassic Extinction Event -- nearly spelled doom for life on Earth.

96 percent of marine species, including many sharks, fish, and all the trilobites, were

wiped out.

On land, the stem-mammals and reptiles suffered as well, with a 70 percent loss of terrestrial

species.

So, it began with an explosion of life, but the Paleozoic ended in near apocalypse.

And while life started out in this era as simple, small marine organisms, by its end,

life had conquered the oceans, taken the very first steps onto land, and spread to the most

inhospitable corners of our planet.

So yes, it was not exactly a heyday of charismatic megafauna.

But it's no overstatement to say that the Paleozoic Era made life what it is today.

HORRIBLE THINGS BABYSITTERS DID TO US #4 | Dolan True Stories - Duration: 12:28.

• From trying to sell the family dog to forcing siblings to make out with each other,

the Planet Dolan crew re-enact some of the best true stories from our subreddit about

the worst things a babysitter has ever done.

I'm Nixxiom and today I'll be your narrator.

Number 10 was submitted by The_Cloud_Person Pringle

When Pringle was little, he hated his babysitter.

She hated it when a child of any age cried… and Pringle had a baby sister.

One time, when his baby sister cried, the babysitter yelled at her to shut up or she

would have to go to her room.

But his baby sister continued to cry, so the babysitter dragged her to her room by one

arm.

She also hated it when she had to change diapers, and she barely even fed Pringle or his sister.

The only time she would feed them was if there were leftovers.

She also made them take naps and, if they didn't sleep, she would give Pringle and

his sister spankings that wouldn't leave behind any marks.

The babysitter even told Pringle that if he ever said anything to his parents, they wouldn't

believe him and punish him harshly for lying to them – something Dolan believed since

he was a gullible kid.

It all came to an end when Pringle's dad came home while the babysitter was screaming

and threatening Pringle and his sister with spankings for not sleeping.

She was fired on the spot, and Pringle never saw her again.

Number 9 was submitted by Firedragon_X Grgak Grgak's mom had to leave for two months

when he was 14, so she hired a babysitter who brought her fat daughter.

The babysitter was the worst – she never helped with homework, and never fed him or

the dog, which was a German Shepherd.

She even tried selling the dog for 15,000 dollars!

Though she wouldn't feed Grgak or his dog, she always remembered to feed her daughter.

She never even let Grgak call his mom.

After a month his best friend, MKyleM, and his mom noticed how malnourished he was, so

they invited him and his dog to sleep at their house.

That is when MKyleM's mom called Grgak's mom to come home, which she immediately did.

When the babysitter asked for her payment, Grgak's mom responded by suing her for 50,000

dollars.

Grgak lost 40 pounds during that time.

Number 8 was submitted by Teh_Evil_Pickle Danger Dolan

When Dolan was 4, his dad hired a really young babysitter.

A couple minutes after his parents left, the babysitter walked in and screamed, "Get

in your rooms or else!" Dolan and his brother, Zaraganba, immediately went to their rooms.

An hour later, Dolan got bored and went downstairs on a spy mission – where he saw his babysitter

butt-naked on the couch, drinking a beer.

He ran upstairs and said, "The babysitter is drinking apple juice and is naked!"

Zaraganba was shocked and started laughing, until the babysitter yelled, "I need one

of you boys now!"

Dolan hid under Zaraganba's bed, watching as the babysitter came into the room and grabbed

his brother.

Fifteen seconds later, Dolan went downstairs and saw the babysitter shoving Zaraganba's

head into her cleavage!

She kept saying, "Drink beer, or more boobies!"

Zaraganba muffled, "I'll never drink a drop of beer!" Dolan ran to the babysitter

and punched her in the face, then grabbed Zaraganba and ran upstairs to hide under the

bed.

The babysitter came in, grabbed Dolan by the leg, and yanked him out from under the bed.

She licked his ear, then whispered, "I'll love you forever."

When their parents came home, they immediately called the police.

The babysitter was arrested, and their parents never hired a babysitter again.

Number 7 was submitted by Branden166 SaltySquid

When SaltySquid was 7, he came home from school one day and found that his mom, brother, and

sister weren't there.

Just then he began to hear noises in the basement and got scared.

He grabbed an airsoft gun and went downstairs.

As soon as he got to the last step… his babysitter, brother, and sister jumped out

and scared him.

Startled, SaltySquid shot his babysitter, who got furious.

While screaming at him, the babysitter grabbed him by the ear and dragged him upstairs.

She took his airsoft gun and shot him with it.

His brother and sister told her to stop, and she did but said, "You two are right.

I should stop with the airsoft gun.

I have a better idea."

That was when she gave SaltySquid a water bottle and told him to drink some.

He did, but then his babysitter grabbed his nose and squeezed more water down his throat.

He couldn't breathe, and she took away the water bottle.

When she did, he threw up everywhere while his babysitter and sister laughed.

He grabbed a knife and yelled, "Get the fuck out!"

She said, "I wouldn't do that if I were you," then tackled him.

As she grabbed the knife and threw it across the room, his mom came home.

The babysitter began to fake cry and lied by saying SaltySquid attacked her with a knife

and that she was restraining him.

His mom wasn't buying it, and took the babysitter outside to yell at her.

His mom told her to never talk to her kids and step foot on their property again.

SaltySquid later learned that she was arrested and served six years in jail.

Number 6 was submitted by Original_Name89129 Mimi

During summer break, when Mimi was 5, her mom asked a lady who lived across the street

from them to babysit like she usually did.

The lady came over, but sat on the couch and began to drink a bottle of wine until she

got drunk… something she would normally do.

That time, Mimi asked her to stop drinking, but the lady smashed the bottle on the floor

and said, "Okay, I will you whore."

She then proceeded to poop on the floor.

Mimi was so disgusted that she was about to throw up when she heard glass shattering next

to her.

It turned out that the lady got mad at Mimi because there was poop on the floor and had

started throwing bottles at her.

Luckily, her mom came home and pepper-sprayed the babysitter, then grabbed Mimi and took

her outside where she called the cops.

Number 5 was submitted by Banjo12829 Cidius

The worst babysitter Cid ever had was his brother who was super strict.

One time, when Cid was 5, his brother asked him to play a game he made up.

Although Cid was excited, his excitement faded when his brother pulled out a hammer and said

that the game was called, "Hammer Toes."

They started playing, and Cid got scared and pulled a sheet over his head.

When his brother swung the hammer, it hit him on the nose, breaking it.

Number 4 was submitted by Victuri_is_real Hellbent

One day, Hellbent and his brother were watching anime when their babysitter came over.

She brought over some cosplays of the anime characters from Yaoi and made Hellbent and

his brother put them on.

Then, she forced them to make out in front of her!

When their mother came home, Hellbent and his brother told her what happened… but

she didn't believe them.

The next day, their babysitter came back and forced them to wear the cosplays and make

out again.

This time, their mother came home and saw what was going on.

She yelled at their babysitter and fired her.

Hellbent and his brother ended up burning the cosplays.

Number 3 was submitted by RedWolfy94 Andiemations

When she was 9, Andie and her 2-year-old sister were left in a neighbour's apartment while

their mom and grandma ran some errands.

The babysitter sat Andie in front of the TV, where she watched a magic show.

Andie was engulfed in the show when the babysitter told her something and, even though she didn't

know what the babysitter had said, nodded and agreed with her.

She continued to watch the magic show as the babysitter went into the other room.

About an hour or so later, Andie's mom burst through the door, pissed.

Apparently, Andie's 2-year-old sister had crawled out the open door, up the stairs,

and down the driveway!

Her mom and grandma ended up finding her crawling in the middle of the road.

It turned out that the babysitter told Andie to watch her sister.

She even tried to blame Andie for what had happened.

The woman was responsible for watching them yet left the door open and ignored them.

Andie's mom never left her and her sister with the woman ever again.

Number 2 was submitted by EnclaveSergeant Sweetcommando

The worst babysitter Sweetcommando ever had was a teenage girl his parents always left

him with whenever they went out.

Whenever she watched him, she made him massage her feet and file her nails.

She also made him watch very boring TV shows, then lock him in a dark closet for hours.

Then, about half an hour before his parents were due home, the babysitter would let Sweetcommando

out.

One day, he passed out from fear and didn't wake up until a few hours later.

After that, his parents fired her and got Sweetcommando

a new babysitter, who was much nicer.

GUEST: - Hi!

So good to be here.

You've answered all these questions I didn't even know I had

The last time I was here, a few years ago

I was talking to you in very general terms

I thought I was talking about relationships

You mentioned something

You said: "so, if you're $100,000 in debt it's highly unlikely that tomorrow

you're gonna have $100,000 in your bank account"

And that was in January

And by March

I opened up my bank account and I had $100,000 in my bank account

It took a little time but that's okay

And since then life goes up and down

Bank accounts go up and down

But I can never go back to the feeling of another...

ABRAHAM: - Because the past is changing

GUEST: - Yes!

I can have almost nothing in my bank account

But I always say: it's fine!

ABRAHAM: - It's because the money in your bank account is not your bank account

is your vibrational currency that matters

And if your vibrational currency is steady

Then all of the other currencies of all manner

All of the other resources

All of the other abundance flows to you, yeah.

GUEST: - And I would say everything is always working out for me

Listen: everything it's phenomenal

ABRAHAM: - It's such a good thing to know.

GUEST: - And I love it!

ABRAHAM: - Yes.

GUEST: - And it's exciting.

ABRAHAM: - Yes.

GUEST: - And thank you!

ABRAHAM: - Yes, indeed.

The FBI whiffed on stopping the Florida school shooter, but ther - Duration: 4:58.

The FBI whiffed on stopping the Florida school shooter, but theres a good reason for that

Hillary Clinton

By now youve likely heard that the FBI was warned about alleged Florida school shooter

Nikolas Cruz last September months before he entered Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School

earlier this week and gunned down students and faculty, killing 17.

As The Gateway Pundit reported:

Nikolas Cruz, the suspect in Wednesdays horrific massacre at a Florida high school,

was allegedly reported to the FBI in September after he left a comment on a bail bondsmans

YouTube channel saying that he was going to be a professional school shooter.

The bondsman, 36-year-old Ben Bennight, then alerted the FBI and even emailed the bureau

a screenshot of the comment before calling the Mississippi field office. In addition,

he flagged the comment to YouTube, which then took it down.

Bennight said that agents from the Mississippi field office got in touch with him immediately

to conduct an in-person interview. He told them that he did not know Cruz or anything

about him. After giving the agents a copy of the screenshot, Bennight said they left

and he never heard from them again.

Epic fail on the part of the bureau, right? (Related: FBI too busy committing TREASON

to stop the Florida shooter who was reported to the FBI months ago.)

Not necessarily. There were a lot of failures up and down the line regarding this horrific

incident (Republicans, President Trump, and the NRA are not among them, by the way).

But though Republicans and Trump and the NRA and everything conservative is getting the

blame from the disgracefully corrupt American Pravda media, if there is one person primarily

responsible for the FBIs alleged ineptitude its Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Thats right, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee is most responsible because one could

plausibly argue that, thanks to the bogus Trump-Russia collusion story she helped

create and finance via the wholly fabricated Trump dossier, agents who might otherwise

have been available to investigate or monitor the mentally disturbed Cruz were tied down

chasing Russian ghosts.

Granted, as Joseph Curl at The Daily Wire reports, the FBI deserves some of the blame.

After all, he notes, the bureau blew the Boston marathon bombing case. They had reports

about the Tsarnaev brothers but never followed up on them. Tamerlan Tsarnaev was eyed by

the FBI at least twice, and the Russian government even warned the U.S. in March 2011 that he

was radicalized, FBI Director Robert Mueller said in congressional testimony in June 2013.

However, he notes further:

But the FBI has been busy jousting with windmills of late. Theyve been off on a wild goose

chase trying to find evidence to prove President Trump colluded with Russians to influence

the 2016 election. As part of that effort, they wiretapped phones of Trump campaign aides,

winning court approval by using questionable evidence of wrongdoing.

In addition, top officials like former Director James Comey has been fired. Former Deputy

Director Andrew McCabe and senior counterterrorism agent Peter Strzok have been implicated in

a plot to keep Trump out of the White House.

And both along with Comey and others were involved in a plot to exonerate Hillary after

she very obviously violated laws governing the handling of classified materials.

So while the American Pravda media and Democrats rehash the same old tired and incorrect narratives

about how more and better gun control would have prevented this terrible tragedy,

all the while blaming Trump and Republicans (and forks for causing obesity), we can all

be rest assured that too many FBI agents are still on the collusion case chasing

Russian ghosts and fake news narratives.

Because after all, to Democrats and their Pravda Media, nothing is more important than

getting Trump and scoring political points against Republicans.

Not even the lives of school children.

Contemporary-a-thon Round 2 Wrap-up | BookTube - Duration: 12:40.

I read one extra book just because I could.

Hello, I'm Rogan and welcome to my Contemporary-a-thon wrapup.

If you watched my TBR, you'll know that I was unsure about getting some books on the list because they

were from the library, and on hold, ebooks, whatever.

Thank the book gods, I got everything on my list and more!

I decided to get the thin, easy one out of the way first, so I went and read

"Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet Vol. 2" first.

It's fitting because the movie just came out this past weekend, and I most likely will be going to see it

tomorrow night. Tomorrow being Tuesday.

This was a graphic novel, I've already read Vol. 1.

Vol. 2 is more of the same, I wasn't wowed by it but I enjoyed it. I didn't hate it, no. I liked it.

I haven't seen the movie, I will soon, but um...

So I can't really compare, but this book is basically about him trying to quell all of the uprisings of all the different

tribes in Wakanda. Being a king, the king's duties, what (he) has to do to deal with that,

and not go against (his) morals.

It did have one part where it had a few other black supers show up like Luke Cage, Storm, Misty, Manifold.

I think that's it. So that was nice to see, familiar faces. "Familiar."

If you like graphic novels, if you like Black Panther, read this.

Next, THUG. Or "The Hate U Give."

This. Was. AMAZING.

Really... Touching.

This story focuses on 16-year-old Starr Carter, who lives in two worlds: her poor black neighborhood

and a fancy suburban prep school that she attends.

That uneasy balance is destroyed when she sees her childhood best friend get shot by police and die.

Soon after, his death became a national headline. Many called him a thug, drug dealer, gangbanger.

It quickly became clear that the police had no interest in investigating his death so protests break out.

Starr's neighborhood becomes a war zone, many (buildings are) destroyed. All the people want to know:

what really happened? The only person who can answer that is Starr. Will she speak up or not?

This book does a really good job of exploring the conflict of what to do. Should (she) speak up? Should (she) not?

If (she) speaks up, that could be beneficial, but it could also put (her) in danger.

But if (she) doesn't speak up, then... That goes unpunished, and (she) lives with that guilt. What to do?

It's really good.

Now, I, as a white person, can never understand that struggle, because this...

That's a black struggle, it's not a white struggle. So... I will never (fully) understand this but...

This book does a really good job of conveying that conflict.

This book is amazing. If you haven't read it, READ IT. It's SO good.

I just realized I completely forgot to tell you what I'm reading the books for.

First, "Black Panther" is for graphic novel, obviously.

Second, "The Hate U Give" was for hyped contemporary book. Moving on!

Next, dark/taboo contemporary book, I read "The Serpent King."

I...

I went into this not really expecting anything, and wow I was surprised.

This book was written with three different perspectives, alternating the chapters.

First, Dill, the only son of a Pentecostal minister who encourages him to handle poisonous rattlesnakes.

Dill is also bullied by people at school because of his father's extreme faith and fall from grace because

he was caught doing something bad and is now in jail.

The other two are friends of Dill.

Lydia who has a trendy fashion blog, which is her ticket out of the rural Tennessee town.

Travis who is a nerd, he loves a book series that he's really into, and is happy with that,

he doesn't need anything else. All of them are outcasts in a way.

The story mainly focuses on Dill and his struggles. He feels stuck there.

He doesn't know what he wants. The only way he can make himself happy is his music

and his feelings for Lydia, which he can't admit.

I'm not going any further. You need to read this. It's really good.

Something happens that I did not see coming, and...

I wasn't prepared for it.

But yes, read it.

Next is a book that was recommended to me, by Kathy. And yes Kathy, thank you for recommending this!

[Words in Deep Blue]

Amazing.

I need to get my own copy.

This book alternates between the perspectives of Rachel and Henry.

Henry's family owns a bookstore. Rachel and Henry were best friends.

Rachel moved away, but before she moved, she left a love letter in his favorite book in his family's bookstore.

She never heard from Henry, so she left it alone.

Years later, Rachel moves back, and ends up working in the bookstore. Awkward things happen.

I love this. I love that niche of books about books, and the stories that go with books.

This is a romance story, kind of. But it doesn't immediately feel like one, so that's good. I like that.

I really liked this book overall. Yes, read it. Yes.

I'm starting to take a little bit long with this video, so I'm going to get through it.

Next book is pink on the cover, I chose Geekerella. It counts! The pink here, it counts.

This is an adorable book. It has a few flaws, problems with it, but in general, I really enjoyed reading this book.

It's obviously geeky. There are A LOT references to pop culture, fandoms, etc. It's adorable.

It follows Elle, short for Danielle, who has an obsession for a TV show, Starfield.

They're doing a reboot of it, she doesn't like the choice of actors, she's angry about it.

She starts texting with someone, kind of falls in love, maybe.

They both have an obsession with Starfield, they talk about it, lalala. It's adorable!

This is a really little thing, but the cover bothers me that it doesn't really match the book's description

of the truck but it's not really that important.

If you enjoy fandoms, you enjoy geekdoom, a re-telling of Cinderella, this is a good read.

Next, a diverse contemporary book, "Behold the Dreamers."

When I first saw the title, I thought it was talking about the DREAM Act, but reading it, oh no it's not.

BUT it does focus on a family that moved from Limbe, which is in Cameroon.

They moved to Harlem, (the father) got a job as a chauffeur for a white family.

It talks about their struggles with that job, their family trying to stay in New York.

He doesn't have his papers, he's trying to get his papers, and so on.

There is a lot going on in this book, but I don't want to go too in-depth because I think you should read it

without really knowing that much about it so you're surprised by it.

But this is a really good read. Yes, absolutely yes.

Next, your most recent contemporary you purchased/acquired, "Homegoing."

It has a very interesting way of telling the story.

It follows two half-sisters from Ghana through eight generations of their family lines.

One sister married an Englishman, and lived a life of comfort. The other one was taken and sold into slavery.

The way the story is told, each chapter moves to a new person in the family line.

So it'll start with one sister, go to the other sister, back to the first sister's child,

then second sister's child, and so on.

Obviously, it jumps in time. It covers the Gold Coast slave trade, plantations in Mississippi,

the American Civil War, Jazz Age Harlem, and modern-day United States.

This was amazingly written. It was a little bit jarring because of a very different style of writing,

jumping in time every time you get to a new chapter. But it was very fascinating, I enjoyed reading this.

Even though a lot of awful things happened in it.

I would recommend anyone read this, and I mean anyone.

That's it for seven books, BUT!

Since I had a back-up book for pink on the cover, I decided why not go ahead and read it?

I had time before the week was over, so.

"I Hate Everyone But You."

It was written by two people, Gaby Dunn and Allison Raskin.

They have a YouTube channel called Just Between Us.

The book follows two people, Gen and Ava, who became best friends in high school. Both go off to college.

Gen goes to New York for college.

She talks about exploring herself, figuring out who she is as a queer person.

Ava stays home (for college), she's straight, Jewish.

The book is written in the format of texts and emails between them.

So that took some getting used to that style of writing.

I don't really know Gaby and Allison that well, I do occasionally watch their JBU videos, I enjoy them, I do.

This book was good, yes, but...

I admit, I did watch Nirali's, from firewordsparkler, review of "I Hate Everyone But You."

And I have to say, I agree with her about this feeling like a fanfic, almost, of Gaby and Allison's lives,

what it would have been like if they'd met earlier.

It is very obvious that these characters are based on Allison and Gaby, Ava and Gen.

It was a little hard to separate the characters from them, because really, who the character is,

what their identity is, and so on is the same as their real-life counterparts.

So I just wish they had changed a little bit, just enough that it's not THEM, cut and dried.

Another thing that kind of bothered me, Nirali mentioned it, and I agree.

The emails and texts have no dates with them. Texts did have times, emails have none.

Nothing wrong with that, but... It wasn't clear that this was happening over only one semester until like,

later, near maybe two-thirds into the book.

The only reason why it becomes obvious is because they're talking about Halloween.

So I just wish they had dates so we could see if they were messaging each other every day or if they

were messaging every two, three days, or... Months in between, or...

Just something to make it clearer what the timeline is, so we know this is happening over only four months,

not a whole school year.

All of that aside, I did enjoy this book. It's good, just a different style that takes a bit getting used to.

Aaaand I'm finally finished!

I was very happy this month with four books with black stories, especially during Black History Month. So.

I get a lot of people who asked me if I go to college for free.

They say that like oh like Indians get free college right or like you said you guys get free land

or you guys get oh you guys have the casino. You're hella rich.

okay um

No, on all of those. Usually what I say when people asked like oh you're Native you get free stuff,

first of all everything you know the comforts of your modern life

you have because of colonization.

first and foremost

None of this for us is free you are in my home

You are in our home, and you are being disrespectful.

First and foremost. I tell people that I have ancestors who have survived hell.

I have ancestors who have survived genocide. I have my mother. I have my auntie's, I have my uncles.

I have my older cousins. I have relatives that have fought and died.

For us to be alive for us to be here. one of this comes to us for free just because you weren't necessarily

educated on how, free college

I don't even understand that honestly. I mean I don't.

So like you said, we didn't come from nothing and everything that you have didn't come for free and you come

from whether you choose to acknowledge or not, a line of people who are either

complicit or active in that genocide, in the process of colonization.

You should go home and ask your parents how they have what they have.

It's not easy to go around with a parrot on my shoulder

I'll call him Coco

I'll try to get a cat

I'll be back later

Back in the Nether because of this

A ghast has spawned in the future briefing room

It's not ghast proof on purpose

So I and get ghast tears easily

The guy is breaking things

Three ghast tears, yay!

It broke the window

It's easy to fix

I'll be able to make some Regeneration potions

I'll bring some light gray glass panes

I'll fix that and I really want a cat

I've just brought the parrot home

It didn't take that long

I only had trouble to get him through the Nether portal

I'll be back later

Back in a jungle, we are at Bexy's base

There is a ocelot over there

I'll try go get a cat

It's trying to escape

Here he is

Come here!

That's some good fish!

Yay, my favourite colour!

I had a cat that looked like this when I was little

No, I won't call him Kronos

I'll call him Félix

Like the cat food brand

My animals' names aren't complicated

I'll be back for the rest of the episode

Now that I have my animals, we'll be working in the Nether

Building the briefing room and the General's office

It didn't take that long to get a cat

I'll be back later

Back in the Nether to finally build the briefing room

I've put end rods to light things up

It looks quite good

But it's floating a little bit

It's OK like this in game, but in video on YouTube it's too dark

I'll put some end rods on the ceiling

I think the purple bit is gray in the new texture pack

It'll look less weird

I like the new main Minecraft texture pack, it hurts my eyes less

I'll keep this texture pack for the rest of the season

If the new pack is out when next season starts, I may use it

It looks great

And I won't have to get textures from other packs

To update my texture pack

I can't create new textures by myself

End rods are attached to the slabs

It's better like this

I should have done this earlier

Steaks are from a base tour with other Symmetrians

I don't remember who did it

Let's get upstairs!

I have some visitors

Here is the future briefing room

I don't know how I'll do it yet

I can't use pistons to make the table

There isn't enough room

Between the ceiling down there and the floor up here

I'll use some glass panes

Strings and carpets

I'll try to make the table

And I'll be back

Back on the roof of the Nether

To make the control screens I wanted to see if I could

Use the Nether roof to make personalised maps

You can do that in the overworld but it looks strange

If people stumble upon it

I wanted to see if it was possible to do so in the Nether

It doesn't look like it, because false isn't on the map

It's a mix of brown and gray pixels

I'll use them anyway

We'll see how it looks

I'll be back

Welcome to the nearly done briefing room!

Big lamps like on the screenshots I've found on the Internet

I'm also watching episodes

It's a good excuse to re watch the show

The table isn't really like the one in the show

The black part should be a border

I could invert back and brown carpets

But I like it like this

I have to designs

With a dark oak wood block and brown glass panels

Or nothing in the middle and black glass panels

I think I'll change this part to look like this one

It looks better

Here, coffee machine (kinda...)

Here and there computers

There should be a staircase that goes to the control room here

But here the main tunnel is in the way

I wanted to put stars maps here for now

Dots linked to each other

Black background and light connected dots

Sea maps doesn't look good

Nether maps are also meh

I'll do something else but for now I'm out of ideas

It'll stay like this

This is where the star map is

For now it's sea maps with changed directions

These are monitor screens and 1*1 paintings look good

Here is a desk

Coffee for the guy who stays here

Here is an US flag

That's it for the briefing room

I wanted to add a Stargate looking banner

I found one on the Internet

This one is missing a black border

But the border is the 7th step of making the banner

But we can only do 6 steps in survival mode

It's kinda stupid to propose 7 or more steps banners

Because we can't do it in survival

This is the one I found

This is the one where I've done a mistake trying to replicate the other

It's the Earth symbol

None of them looks good enough

Even with no texture packs

I'll now modify the table

And will make the General's office

A glass planet map centred on the Earth is supposed to be here

I can't do better than this in Minecraft

I'll be back later

Back for the end of the episode

The General's office is completely done

These represent medals in item frames

A US flag

The desk with some paperwork

Coffee because he need it

The bookshelf

Chairs for visitors

The Earth symbol on the wall

This is the last symbol of the address of Earth

I've changed the table

I tried some banner designs

Doesn't look very good

This is what it looks like with Nether maps

Not so good but it'll stay like that for now

I don't really want to do custom maps

It'll take too much time

Next time...

I'll make an elevator here

Maybe one with slime blocks

Haven't done one yet, so I'll have to found out how they work

I can also continue to build underneath

There are door in the tunnel

That could go to soldiers quarters

Sick bay

Laboratories

The cafeteria/mess

Lots to do in this mini Nether base

This was a decoration episode

That's it for this episode

Thanks for watching

Don't hesitated to comment down below

I'll be back next episode

Bye everybody!
