The Love Between a Gay Father and His Adopted Daughter | {THE AND} Valentine & Terry - Duration: 11:38.Hey guys Mériem here at The Skin Deep. We've been getting a lot of questions
regarding participating in {THE AND} experience. The good news is that you
don't need to come in our studio to do it. We have a card game experience that
you can play at home with your loved one. To learn more about it you can visit our
website at www.theskindeep.com/shop and the link is also in the description.
Thank you very much!
In what ways are we similar and how does that scare you?
I think we both like nice things,
we both like shopping,
Oh yeah.
we like, some food.
We like our friends.
You know, I think for me
I so often forget you're not my biological child
because we have a lot that's similar. But it's obviously the nature versus nurture debate.
Yeah
And that's how those characteristics come through.
Speaking to ___, she's always like 'Oh my gosh, you are so much like Terry"
I find myself
like saying things you would say, you know like
That does come with living with me for 20 years, Val.
I'll let you use the same phrases as you.
What do you think was the most difficult part of being your father?
I think, raising three girls
it's never easy and
the teen years and everything.
I don't know, I think you-
Val you see how interesting-
For me, the first thing is always juggling the money.
Oh yeah?
You don't even see that.
But we're very very lucky girls and I think just-
yeah, like everyone, you know, would ask us
'Oh, where's your motherly figure?' You know, like
How do you manage living with two dads and stuff like that.
I've never ever had a problem with it, like it's always been really easy, you know?
Talking about girl stuff, talking about boys
I think you guys just handled it really really well with us girls.
It never felt like we were lacking in any way.
No, I honestly never thought we were.
And I'm glad you never stressed about it.
It's not about stressing because it evolves.
Yeah
You go to new chapters, new phases.
What is that one insecurity that I have, that you think I shouldn't have?
Do you have insecurity?
You know it might not be insecurity, I think
what it might be is that you don't have a boyfriend, Val.
But I don't know if that's an insecurity
Or maybe it's a...
the experience of a serious boyfriend is maybe what you would like.
I think.
Yeah
It could be that, I can't think what else.
Just - yeah, like never having a relationship
and being 20 and stuff and...
never having a serious boyfriend.
There's lots of pluses, you haven't had all of that terrible angst and drama and crying.
and breakups...
Yes
Alright
Oh, what are you hesitant to tell me?
Are you hesitant to tell me anything?
I don't think so...
I don't think so.
We talk too often.
You would tell me if you had a boyfriend, Val?
Dad, I would tell you.
I think I'd tell the whole world.
The other-
yeah, hesitant...
If you had done something wrong, you would tell me.
Yeah
If you had a drama when you were out, you would tell me.
Yeah
I know I can call you like-
Metric Rage, I was calling you all the time.
Oh, I still have to do Metric Rage with your sister.
Yeah
I had a fringe before Metric Rage
ooooh
What is one habit of mine that makes you mad?
There can be little irritations, but I can't think of anything that will make me mad.
Like messaging you before I come home.
You always do, luckily.
Disorganization, but you're not disorganized, so...
Not giving me the full details of-
I was gonna say, just organize and plans
No, I can't think I've got anything there.
Growing up, who was the bad cop or the good cop between me and ______?
Hmm, that's interesting.
You would play the bad cop, but _____ would be the
I don't know, bad cop as well because
he would give hurtings and you would just discipline us.
He was always fun and creative and all of that.
But you'd discipline us and we would learn the lessons
and ____ would be like, 'you need a hurting, that was bad.'
I think it also changes since he became a teacher at your school.
Yes
So that created another dynamic.
Yeah
What is the one painful experience I've had, that you wish you could take away.?
Oh I think that's easy.
I think that night they spiked your drink.
That was just such a terrible night.
But you know, that also goes back to you having a fabulous circle of friends
Yes
When you got to that bar,
if your friends weren't shocked and saying
"This is weird, we've only been here half an hour,
why is Val looking so drunk?"
The fact that they have a good relationship with me
that they could phone me straight away and say
"Terry, something's strange with Val, we don't know what's wrong"
Yeah
You know,
I think if you didn't have a good circle of friends
who knows what might have happened.
But you dealt with it in the right way you were able to deal with it
because you didn't know what was going on.
But the people around you made the right choices for you.
Yeah
And I even broke the speed limit getting to you.
First time I've ever gone out of the house with no aftershave on.
Oh, sorry Dad.
I think the biggest thing for me that night was when I was coming out of it and everything like that,
you were so calm in such a crises situation.
And I was the one that kept crying and hyperventilating,
and you were just so wonderful, you were so calm.
I think you were crying because you were frightened.
You're now waking up in a hospital.
You didn't know what had happened to you, what was going on.
getting pies and some even might rotate you to smiling and cry we probably see
to take the pictures file that's what those pictures are not great you know
that day you know the weirdest thing happened to me that day of course you
never made it I was so sure you were gonna make the prefix and then you
didn't hmm and I was first set for myself in
Geneva you may not see but also what you thought they know you they know that you
a good leader I would believe it and then of course they caught the hip girl
and I just hadn't thought further than that and he would you you were the
deputy hit go but yeah I missed the boat on it underneath a better name high
enough for you our hours focused on a freeze bit meanwhile you see that my
expectations mister me last card
oh that's a hard deep question for you about what you are really
I like the shape intercept the block that you can count on me that I'll be
Google bear or whatever that are there for you maybe that's what you imagine of
our journey and equina five and I work with your mom and dad our differences
would be for me and for you so much but you pod niche done all those stages took
net those two days jack would that it might be made school at the
drive-through holidays no I think that is
people love in different ways degrees but we have a very loving happy
family we really do and we like all other families we've ever said in this
happen we've lost people we loved you should have broke up okay so now I'm
it so you can always start in it so I think it makes you a nice rounded person
and then I love Peter dance lovely
you

Expectations for 49ers Defense (Robert Saleh, 2018) - Duration: 4:54.Ayo! It's Bryan here. Today, going to be talking about the San Francisco 49ers.
Going to be talking about defense and expectations for 2018 on the defensive side of the ball.
Now, in my last video, I talked about the offensive side of the ball with Jimmy Garoppolo, Kyle Shanahan.
So, if you want to watch that, there's going to be a Card section right here.
So please watch it, but right now, defensively under Robert Saleh, I thought they did a pretty
good job under the brand new 4-3 scheme.
Well, it's not really a brand new, but at the same time, it's a change from 3-4 to 4-3.
I thought they did a pretty damn good job under the circumstances that they had with
Brian Hoyer in the first couple of games. Oh gosh!
That was not fun with Brian Hoyer as the quarterback.
Getting a lot of 3 and outs, turning the ball over too damn much and the defense having
to get on the field too damn early, too damn much I guess you can say and then Reuben Foster
got hurt Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers after a very promising start.
He ended up coming back and boom! He's a freaking beast.
I know he has a little injury problems and he had an incident a week ago.
Don't want to talk about that right now, but it was an incident.
So it's kind of a bad thing for the 49ers.
But overall, I thought they did a pretty good job in 2017.
I would give it a "B" performance for what they were able to do under the circumstances
that they had and then after Jimmy Garoppolo, I thought that they did a lot better.
Although, they need to do a lot of improvements like the pass rushing, pressuring the quarterback
in general and doing a lot better in pass coverage because they do need a lot of help in that.
But overall, it's a lot better than it was in 2016 under Jim O'Neil! Oh gosh.
Jim O'Neil, that was a fun experiment if everyone was there.
Hopefully, there's no new Niner fans that are just joining the bandwagon.
Hopefully, you guys been there since I've been here in 2015.
With Jim O'Neil, that was not a fun experience for anyone in San Francisco for the run game especially.
So I'll leave it like that. Right now, hmm...
What do I expect from the 49ers in 2018?
So I'm going to be assuming Reuben Foster's going to be out a couple of games and as the
roster is constructed, I think this defense can be top 15, maybe top 10, but I'm leaning
more towards the average top 15 in my opinion as of this roster being constructed.
I'm not taking into account to anything that I think they're going to be doing with free agency.
Although, there's a lot of good free agent cornerbacks and I know there's Marcus Peters
kind of in the trading block with the Kansas City Chiefs. There's been some rumors about that.
So if they can get him, that'd be great, but right now, they're not on the team.
So I'm just going to be assuming whoever they have right now.
I think they can still do an alright job.
With Jimmy Garoppolo as the quarterback, they won't be having to get on the field too damn long.
So, it can kind of be like the Dallas Cowboys in 2016 with Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott.
Doing all the work and then defense can do an alright job and be top 5 in points allowed
just because they weren't on the field too long and they did some good work on the offensive side of the ball.
Maybe it can be like that in that kind of situation, but I'm not sure.
I just feel like this defense needs a little more work right now and I know the defense is very young.
Solomon Thomas, DeForest Buckner, Aaron Lynch if you want to include Aaron Lynch.
That defensive line is very young.
I think they can get a lot better in the next couple of years in my opinion, but in 2018, I don't know.
It's going to be hard and linebacking corp is going to be needing a lot of help if Reuben
Foster probably going to be out if he is with the 49ers and defensive backs.
It's kind of iffy at best.
I still think it's pretty good with Adrian Colbert and Eric Reid on the safety side and
Ahkello Witherspoon, but Dontae Johnson's kind of a question mark.
Although, he did an okay job sort of.
I know the Texans game wasn't the best game that he had in his life, but at the same time, he was kind of okay.
He wasn't that bad. I think he had like 70 tackles or something like that.
So that's not too awful.
I feel like this defense is going to be needing a little bit of repackaging a little bit,
but other than that, I still think that this team has a lot of potential in the future, but in 2018, I don't know.
It's going to be hard to tell.
Overall, I just think top 15 is a pretty reasonable prediction for the defensive side of the ball.
Maybe top 10, but I just feel more towards top 15.
I don' think they're going to be in the bottom of the league. That's pretty bad.
Last year, they weren't like that, even with a less talented roster, but I think overall,
I think they can be an average defense and offense can do its job and get everything
going and Robbie Gould can kick his field goals, but just hmm...
It's a tough one on the defensive side of the ball because they've had some good moments,
but they've had some bad moments at the same time. So, I don't know.
Pretty iffy at best on the defensive side of the ball, but I think Robert Saleh can
make something happen and potentially take this team to a top 10 defense, but right now,
I''m leaning more towards top 15 and that is subject to change, but right now, as of
this roster is constructed, I'm going towards top 15 in defense.
In points allowed and yards allowed and overall. So yeah.
That's going to be pretty much it you guys.
Please let me know what you guys think about this.
This is a little bit harder than the offensive side of the ball.
I want to hear what you guys have to say about this side of that ball.
Is it going to be good? Is it going to be bad?
Is going to be top 10, top 15? Maybe top 5? Even the top defense in the league?
Please let me know in the comments below what'd you guys think and if you guys like this,
please "Like," SUBSCRIBE, do whatever you want with this and I'll be catching you guys up later.
So I hope you guys have a nice day, nice weekend, nice whatever and I'll be catching you guys up later.
So bye guys. Love ya'll. Talk to you later!

WHAT I'VE READ // Girl Made of Stars, Everything I Never Told You and more!! [CC] - Duration: 9:21.so I'm gonna be honest right now. most of these books I read over a month ago
and I honestly don't have as much to say as I might have, had I talked about them
a month ago. I really don't like the background of this video, hold please.
here are the books I read in the month of January. the first book I read is a
book that I've been meaning to read for probably since it came out, so years. this
is Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng. I wanted to pick this up for
ages because I was told it was a lot about the American dream which is
something that I wrote my dissertation on the American dream. I'm very
fascinated by the subject and the culture surrounding it and also how it's
changed and whether or not it's all just a lie. it's a lie. everything I never told
you is the story of a chinese-american man, professor marrying a white woman
in the 50s the woman really wants to pursue education but instead they end up
having three children Nathan, Lydia, and Hannah. at the start of this book, Lydia
is found dead and it kind of follows, it flashes back to when the couple first
met and also from their childhoods, and trying to figure out more about them, but
then is also set in Ohio during the 1970s when they find the body and kind
of the repercussions of that. this book tackles a lot it tackles race, age, gender,
sexuality. it really shows how microaggressions wear away at people
over time, especially in the context of this book in terms of race. it's a really
incredible look at race in America. it's again it's a lot about the American
dream. I wouldn't go into this wanting a like murder mystery type thing. yes, one
of the daughters is found dead but it's really not about that. it's also just
about like what children keep from their parents and everything they never tell
you. I give this 5 out of 5 stars. I really really enjoyed it. I'm very
excited to read Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. I think I'm gonna love that.
next book is The Accident Season by Moira Fowley Doyle.
I read Spellbook of the Lost and Found around Halloween time.
really liked it, really liked her writing. again, I really liked more finally
Doyle's writing. this was her first book I believe. it's real weird.
basically, this family curse causes an annual
season of broken bones, torn skin, and bruised bodies, but why?
what is the accident season? why like for a month or whatever every year are they
just constantly being wounded or even worse? it's really weird. it's not quite
as spooky I guess as a spell book of lost and found, I didn't love it.
I didn't even really like it that much. like, I read this and really January, it
is now mid-february and I remember nothing.
so that says a lot. sad about that, will continue to read her books though,
because I do quite like her writing. next book I read was a graphic novel and is
Fun Home by Alison Bechdel who you might know of the Bechdel test. titled fun home:
a family tragicomic it is a graphic novel about family, a lot about sexuality,
obviously. it's very academic, it's very literary. it relies heavily on literary
allusions that I didn't even necessarily understand a lot of the time. ultimately,
so much about the stories about is the relationship between her and her father
and also both of their relationships with their sexuality and also how her
father's death affected her. I find it really hard to look at graphic novels on
the whole. if you've watched me for a while you know I'm not big on them,
especially with memoirs. I'll be looking at them as a diary, as a novel, as a
graphic novel, as kind of a comic, I'm looking at all of the pieces but I find
it hard to look at them as one whole solid thing. this does rely a lot on text,
this is a very text heavy graphic novel, so if you prefer ones with more imagery
the images and this didn't seem to further the story for me. I think this is
a great piece of like queer literature and it's a part of the zeitgeist of
queer literature and it's really important but I just myself didn't enjoy
it because I don't like our graphic novels. so the next book is one that I feel like
is a really important book and I'm gonna link some other reviews to it down below
because again I read it a while ago and I think there's so much to be said about it
that I feel like other people have said and said better so I'm gonna link to
some other reviews about Sing, Buried, Sing by Jesmyn Ward. this is story about
three generations, ghosts, it's a story a lot about the black body,
it's a story about how ordinary people become mythic. Ward has an
incredible--she has an incredible ability to make you empathise with every
character even characters that do and say terrible terrible things that you
kind of loathe them for but you still empathise with them and understand them
from a certain aspect. content warning for this book, there are a lot of racial
slurs, there are mentions of rape and murder and abuse, especially child abuse.
to say a little bit about what the actual plot of this book is because I
feel like I haven't done that. it's a story of this boy who's 13 years old and
he's kind of taking care of his little sister and while his mom is a drug
addict. at the start of this book they find out that their father is going to
be released from prison and so they go up to pick him up essentially and it's
kind of a road trip story but also there's this ghost story element where
their mother is seeing the ghost of her brother. they're also like, there's this
plot line about the drugs that they're trying to get ahold of there's a lot
going on it's a very focused on family and race and yeah again I'm gonna link
to other reviews. I did really like this book I didn't love it as much as some
other works of literary fiction I've read recently but I'm very happy I read
it and also Obama loves it and if Obama loves it, I have to read it.
my favorite book I've read so far is Girl Made of Stars by Ashley
herring Blake. Ashley herring Blake wrote How to Make a Wish, which I read last
year and really loved. this is a story of a girl named Mara. Mara has a twin
brother named Owe,n Owen is accused of raping his girlfriend.
Owens girlfriend is also Mara's best friend or one of her best friends, so she
has to deal with the repercussions of that. it's very hard to read. it's painful
to read because it is so much about rape culture, that's the whole book. sometimes
you deal with books that deal with rape or sexual assault and they're mentioned
there this whole story every single page is about that and it's about the rape
culture and it's about the way we treat women when they come out about their
sexual assault. it's about queer stories and it's
beautiful. the main character in the story is also dealing with a recent
breakup with her partner who is also genderqueer,
so that's really interesting and you don't see a lot of that in YA.
Our main character is also bi, so if you're looking for some
bisexual representation, it's in here, it's pretty great. There are a lot of important
conversations on consent and yeah, but be careful,
severe content warning/trigger warning for rape and sexual assault because it's
all over this book. next book I read is one that I'm not gonna talk a lot about
cause I didn't like it uh-huh and that's The Cruel Prince by Holly black. I'm not
big on faerie novels. I think I'm just maybe gonna stop reading faerie
novels cause I consistently dislike them. You've probably heard a lot about this book.
main character's parents are murdered and her and her sisters are stolen to
live in the high faerie court and she's raised there. she's there for years and
she wants to stay there so she has to find a way to do that. there's political
drama, there's a civil war kind of brewing, honestly I was just bored. it
wasn't for me, other people seem to love it though, which is awesome. books aren't
for everyone, you know? Content warning for suicide and abuse. The final book I read
in the month of January is one that I listened to on audiobook and it is the
Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin. The Immortalists is a story of
four siblings in New York in the 60s/70s who go to a psychic and find out the day
they're going to die. the story then follows the four of them as they like
live and eventually die. two of the siblings move off to San Francisco, one
of them is gay and he kind of is living in the Castro district and living, being
a dancer and living that life in the 70s/80s. his sister goes off to live in Vegas
I think as a magician. one of them is a war doctor, I think and then one of them
is actually trying to extend life expectancy. she's testing, she's a
scientist working on that. so they all do very different things and they all kind
of tied together in certain ways. ultimately it's the story about whether
or not our destiny is predetermined and we have a hand in changing it if we know
when things are gonna happen? does the idea of knowing when you're going to die
affect your life by making you want to live life to its fullest or live in
dread and fear knowing that it's predetermine that you have no control
over it? a lot about that. I didn't love it, I liked it a lot and I thought was
really interesting and I think it's gonna be a big book this year I think a
lot of people are talking about it so that's cool. um I will also say there are
explicit sex scenes so if you're younger or you are uncomfortable with that,
take note, ummm yeah. Those are the books that I read in January. I haven't read anything
in February and it's the 20th, so doing well. let me know what you've read
recently in the comments below and I'll see you real soon, bye!

Visiting SPAIN for an AUTISM Event (2018) - Duration: 19:30.so I thought I'd start this vlog off in a different kind of setting oh yeah yeah
I'm in Spain and Alex is here
so basically me and Alex were asked to come here to Spain to talk at a Spanish
autism conference called welcome to the spectrum and we're here now on this this
like apartment thing where we are super cool and I can't it doesn't really give
it justice so what I'm gonna do is gonna do some sweet b-roll and show everybody
how cool this place looks and go
well the suns out and yeah I don't know if you can see but the sun's out and so today
may be actually more of a more of a nicer day Iyesturday it rained all day Alex
still hasn't got pants on anyway so today we are off to the I don't know what the name
of the venue is that we're going to and we're appearing at this place like at 6
o'clock I think but we've got to go I got to do an
interview downstairs ah like half 11:00 and then we're actually doing something
else I have no idea what you're this is the worst kind of I know I don't know do
it well I'm like the worst person ever so let's get on with the day
this is what I have to put up with on a daily basis
okay so we're still not downstairs I do have sunglasses I'm about going on use those
are they glasses as in readers I've got two I've got sunglasses actually glasses and I have
gratuitous sponsorship moment I actually have just I just have Ray Bans on me
I think they're in here so Ray Bans I feel like everybody should have
Ray Bans because if you don't have Ray Bans you kind of like what am I doing in life
um yeah we really I don't know we're gonna do we're gonna have to go
down stairs to the Lobby so yeah Chau step into my hotel room mine goes up and down no no
shoot you didn't see those shoelaces I just stepped on those made them ten
times worse ok so we're in a lift
hey how's it going all right cool so what's the plan
yeah yeah we'll sort it right now yeah cool it's probably like the weirdest place that
I've ever been in my life so right now what I could do I'm gonna walk to this
fountain right here and then all the way back to the guy can take a photo this is
really weird hey what are you on about I always wear sunglasses

mean we're gonna be interviewed by this lovely lady and then this awesome dude
in the glasses Spanish translator Spanish, puerto rican, American that's my name
yeah it's gonna be good so it's very cool it's cold yeah it's colder than I
thought it was gonna be let me say that I'm I feel right it may be because of
all the coffee
we had done with this interview I think we're gonna get right how we do Europe
love it okay so we're in this store in in the city right now we just finished the
interview and we're in the store Alex needs to buy a toothbrush because
Alex came half way around the world and didn't have a toothbrush
let's get some deodorant to anyway so this store is super cool reminds me of
like how the stores were in the 90s back it in in Wales so I'm gonna take
some b-roll of the store so I can show you guys how awesome it is let's roll
hey we're in this car this is cozy well I can do that as well these guys look
this is the crew what's up crew hi yeah this is the craziest like
streets are drive down are we allowed to drive down this street sir?
anyway we're currently on our way to the conference center so I yeah we just took
some sweet b-roll inside this store and was so awesome and every car
looks the same here and I must say that the parking is incredible and they are it's just ninja very very hard to park here
yeah because it's always occupied and you can't park anywhere near me no I
noticed I was like okay well like I said some guys squashed into this tiny little
space just in a huge car and he did it he was like the Beast
I felt like getting out and cheering him on but go on dude you can do it he was the boss
that I would my mom could work like that
okay so we here we're in the actual event we're actually in the place we
just met everybody and like Europe has this whole like kiss culture so we did the
whole thing it was cool but we're here
Alex actually tried to kiss the guys on the lips I said he's a youtuber of Agriculture so
Alex does a lot of like farming and stuff so anyway we're here we're gonna go check
the place out so get ready for some sick b-roll let's do that again
okay so what we're going to do now is actually go back to the conference
center have some food charge the battery for this camera and then yeah get ready
to do the do the talk and it's going to be a really interesting it's cool
hanging out with Hugo and the Metro it'd going to be really cool anyway so we're gonna
go do that right now okay see you in a bit okay here I am on top of this huge hill
Metro cool chick is oh wow this is a really good view how's my
skateboard all the way down there so I gotta go get my skateboard on and it's
all

out this is this is my thing up here so I'm gonna do the talk here today Alex I
mean today
yo yo what's going on so I'm here I'm at the event and actually we finished up at
the talk now we finished up at the top there's a lot of people behind me it was
all awesome it's pretty cool everybody was really nice but now we have to do
something else which I don't really know what we're doing
apparently we're doing something with some Star Wars people there's like this
this Star Wars 28 thing I don't know this is his whole Star Wars thing and
it's because I did the book the Star Wars philosophy book thing but I guess
we're gonna just figure out I don't know
so status report that's what we're doing we went outside we took a bunch of the
photos of Japan it was really fun it was really kind of weird I'm cold and I
don't really know what we're doing but we're going to do now is all this and
these guys over here I'm gonna like go into the the conference room which is
currently occupied Oh with some some guy doing a talk or something then we're
gonna go in there and I don't actually know I think we just gonna go in and
Surprise them just like stormtroopers in mcallen we're gonna film it anyway to be
pretty cool so you guys will see the reaction of what's going to actually
happen so it's a kettle
okay so back at the hotel it's actually the next day and we were ya the room is
destroyed we went out to get snacks st and something I realized that works is
that the person that I bought the snacks on is they didn't actually have a didn't
give me a receipt I thought all the stores and none of them spoke a word of
English so we went out for dinner last night and it's still here this is dinner
from last night and anyway we went for dinner it was but then I was really good
but we didn't really speak much Espanola so dinner
we understood 20 maybe 25 percent of what anyone was talking about we had a
translator but we still managed to make people talk about piercings in places
they shouldn't have piers various tattoos or body and everything and we
were just it was we tell jokes and they mother translator so everyone sort of
listening going out like it's so true anyway we're about to head out because
we need to get we're going out for lunch with Marisol I think which is like the
the person who is a practice she's a president of the company what was it mr.
president anyway Matt's already from the
government here in Spain yesterday and they were really interested though they
I don't even know why I met with the government they would they're really
interested in the Star Wars stuff interested in the public speaking kind
of education stuff so maybe maybe we left in some emails let me get you up a
school tour or something it's good this is a school anyway we're gonna go
outside and take some b-roll shots
Scottish well let's go British
everything is super super old here like I mean we have an Alex he's super old
everything is just like super old this is like what check this out look
oh it's good day
so that was really weird we were just like what was it called what was it what
what does it got us what's the thing called what's what's the thing that news
coke okay this is marshmallow obstacle God who made us both Beppo tomatoes we
watch the thing and it's like swinging if I was gonna drop humping people I was
like oh you shoot right now it was cool it was cool anyway yeah that was weird
we were not sick al offers a lot of like pictures and videos so I snuck some in
palace I kissed the thing what's the thing called I kissed it was Saint Seiya
say James you kissing game yeah you know what up
every else did it was spiritual it was cool it was dope anyway it was inside
this building if you program earlier so yeah good good stuff
we are in an Italian restaurant in Spain everyone speaks Italian and Spanish not
sure are we good we good see table time mucho oh we did we're
gonna fail yeah let's bureau so so far Spain is
awesome the people are lovely the food has been pretty since our privacy but
we're now moving into a battalion now we're in an Italian restaurant we're
gonna be kind enough Spanish alright yeah because we because we went we have
tea and we have like these little sliders we had cake it was used dope but
when we went to the bank I thought they were extra they look like home blue
bonds brand by Monday no no but it's this thing and it's cool and it's
something like you're always being fed here and I like that it's comfy like
always preferred this is the future Alex Alex and Metro playing bizarre rocket
League in the restaurant hey we're looking as minibar all weekend right so
there's this mini bar here in the hotel ignore the crop of the top okay so this
mini bar right Alex yelling Eva okay so greet you it's a slow-motion
pull back so there's a sick so in here we have two beers was it three was two
cokes and a packet of crisps or chips so we decided that we would do the whole
thing so we just went downstairs spend some of that YouTube money whoo - money
- money your mother hated that YouTube money so
we read those steps we said hey Quinn buy the whole box you're so confused
which is that okay let's do it and here we go
sweepa dark in here I just had a shower and I am so wiped I think I just gonna
wish myself in in England so well in Wales actually so okay I'll see you guys
and get back oh so I'm back in Wales boom that was like a long flight I've
got a bit of a cold because like the recycled air and the plane was just
gross anyway so I'm home this is a crazy trip
and I hope you guys enjoyed the journey I'll see you next time guys that's wrong

A fully stocked Cold War Bunker - Duration: 17:21.In this episode we visit cold war relics.
We're now going to a secret Soviet base where they stored 100+ nuclear warheads during the cold war.
There was only Soviet staff and the base got slowly discovered after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the Russians left Hungary.
Nice.
Half an hour walk? No like 15 minutes.
We're doing the easy route through the forest. -Easy, safe and no dogs.
We're half way.
After walking for an hour we arrived at the border of the base.
We're probably close to the possible entry of the underground bunker. Let's go.
It's a trap.
The door stands open, that's a good thing.
I don't know if the bunker is here, but i know there's a nice mural.
Lenin, Karl Marx and the one in the middle???
It's difficult to find, finding our way to the nuclear silo.
A shed full with garbage. -Shit.
It's open here.
And?
I don't see any footprints in the snow.
Oops.
It's cool with all those barbwires and walls.
Is that a shooting range?
Check this.
How long is this standing outside? 30/40 years? -At least, I guess after WWII.
I hear a dog. -Me too let's find the bunker.
There are footprints. -Somebody went through that gate. Let's continue.
There is also a roof.
I think we arrived.
To the left. Yes i see the door.
It looks closed, I wonder if it's open.
It's open. -No. What no, are you serious?
Nice...
Looked tight. Well Boys, that's dissappointing.
Little dissappointing for 3 hours.
We looked for hours to find a closed door. Maybe there's another entrance.
It's cool to see how thick that door is. -I'd rather saw the inside.
See how thick.
30/40 centimeters. -At least.
The adventurers continue
Spend another 2 hours. -Maybe there's an entrance at the other side.
Hello, we want to go inside.
Also this door is closed. There's no lock but you can't move it at all.
Wasted half a day.
Ah, Eelco fouond a potential entry.
Nothing... Maybe a shelter to hide.
Too bad, we continue to a cold war bunker which was built especially for the employees of a factory.
Well guys, we're inside. That was easy.
Walked on train tracks, no fences, i love it. -An open door, nice.
Cool, it looks like some command panel with lights.
A lot of papers. -There are symbols on the panel.
A lot of goodies. -Yeah, it's nice. Bunkers are often empty.
An engine. -Yes i can smell the oil.
Guess it's a power supply in case for emergency.
First floor.
It's funny, it's a special bunker. You would expect them to be underground but this one is above the ground.
And I see a cool room already, ooooo.
The walls are 2,5 meter thick, pretty solid. We lost our connection aswell.
It's also special that there are a lot of objects present, which is pretty rare.
How big is it? 35 meters? -The block is 21x21 meter.
A big concrete block. -It looks small but it could accomodate 2000 people.
2000 people in here? -It's pretty big
Quite a lot.
But you see it's not a military bunker. It's a civil bunker in case of a fallout.
Only for factory employees. -So you see a lot of medical instructions.
And almost no military stuff.
We are going to look for you if we can find interesting stuff.
Some instruction papers or something.
It's pretty stocked so i guess we'll find something interesting.
Medical instructions.
First aid. -Arterial bleeding.
Cool.
We have to put everything back. -Ofcourse.
Same.
Nice one.
A Borat suit.
Don't forget to censor.
A book from 1971
A log. -Nice that it's hand written, feels more personal.
Ak47. -From 1966.
Not that special. -No.
1952, old, very old. -Cold war period.
And in a good shape for a humid place. -Indeed.
Time stood still here.
A little thrashed. That's normal.
Too bad we can't read it. -I can't understand it at all.
Idon't know a single word. -I know elhagyatott (abandoned) and ëromü (power station)
This is a floorplan, 1:720.
Good place to sleep. -Cheap one.
We had worse hotel rooms.
Go upstairs? -Let's check.
In a good shape. -Indeed.
Clothes all around.
With the brand.
Just a overall with a pants, that's it.
Not elegant. -And there are lots of boxes with those.
1976.
With a hoodie.
Chlorogenium, all of them. Maybe to clean?
Nice labels.
We have to ask a chemist. -There's probably someone watching this who knows this.
If you know, drop a comment.
A lot of paper, where did they used it for? -There's a lot. Wierd.
Hangers? -Strange ones, with wooden heads.
Hangers from back in the days, they are more compact now.
Imagine. -Probably used for a heavy overall.
This one is nice.
This thing was to detect gasses i think. -I think so too.
There's an explosion symbol.
There.
1954.
A volt meter?
This is the floorplan of the bunker. Here you see the entrances.
Check, atom bomb.
I can read Hungarian for the first time.
There's another part of the bunker. There's another staircase at another side.
We are on the top floor now.
The bunker is divided in two and mirrored.
Works like a parking garage. -Look Frederik, so you can see.
An Escher house.
A stretcher.
Look here. Wow.
Lying neath. -Calculated for many injured.
For the movie. It's still strapped.
They are all still packed.
Let's show the viewers in which condtion they are.
Abandoned for 40 years and now finally used Bob.
Good bed for tonight. -It has poles.
I never saw so many stretchers. -Me neither Me neither.
Rubber boots all over the place. -Thousands.
Some are still packed.
We thought there was a dead body here.
Bob, that smell reminds me of the Fukushima supermarket, smelly ! -Fukushima was worse. A lot.
A medal holder.
All the medals are looted.
Cool ! -Hundreds of gasmasks.
Looks like we're in Chernobyl. For every Soviet inhabitant they had a gasmask. So you can find them stacked in public buildings like schools.
Numbered.
Innerwork.
It was epic. -Cool explore.
See you at the next location !

CARVING A SLAM DUNK BASKETBALL PLAYER WALKING STICK - Duration: 15:32.Hello!
In this video I would like to show how I took a broken project and turned it into this Slam
Dunk walking stick.
I had intended to make another rattlesnake cane out of this piece of wood.
But as I carved what would be the handle of the cane I noticed a defect running right
through the middle of it.
Now I'm not one to give up easily and I sure don't want to waste the rest of this material.
Theres still some good grain direction in this piece.
With the curvature of the grain of the top of the stick I have the ability to carve something
I've had on my order list for a long time.
I'll first have to see If I can carve something round enough to look like a basketball.
Next I got to see if I can carve the hand that is palming the ball.
This stick is going to have more of a caricature and less realistic looking.
I'll need to leave the wrist area thicker for strength.
Locating where to begin the head is the real tricky part.
This stage is making me nervous.
So I'm just going to take my time and try not to make any mistakes.
I made a little clay mock-up of the nose and mouth area to help me get the shapes right
when I'm carving them in the wood.
This piece is going to be a bit bulky for practical use.
It will be more for display purposes.
The shape is coming along pretty good now.
I think it's going to turn out after all.
The painting process starts out with a couple of coats of gesso primer.
This turned out to be a real fun project for me.
It gave me a lot of challenges, but I really enjoyed the process of it.
Thanks for Watching!
I'll see you on the next one!

Return to Tanjung Puting | The Proboscis Monkeys of Borneo - Duration: 6:31.Tanjung Puting
On Borneo Island
Is one of most remarkable biodiversity regions on the planet
At the heart of this extraordinary ecosystem...
we can find many species of primates
Gibbons...
macaques...
orangutans and other species...
But perphaps the strangest of all...
...is the Proboscis monkey
endemic to the Borneo Island.
With its huge bulbous nose and prominent stomach
It is a genetic rarity
His strange nose poses a certain mystery.
Dominant males display the largest of all apes...
reaching up to 17 cms...
Its so long that it hangs below the mouth.
The function of this facial wonder is uncertain...
but it may denote rank and play a role in attracting females.
The Proboscis monkeys groups are formed by a great number of females with their young...
...and a single dominant male.
Diet of the Proboscis monkey is made up of leaves, seeds and green fruits.
to digest them have developed compartmentalized stomach like those cows,
endowed with a large number of symbiotic bacteria.
Proboscis monkeys groups move around the jungle in search of food...
for which they employ spectacular acrobatics.
They jump from tree to tree with spectacular skill...
while emitting strange sounds that proyect through their large bulbous noses.
They never get too far from the river...
and every night they return to rest on the branches of the trees on the banks of the river
Like most of Borneo´s wild animals...
the Proboscis monkeys are suffering the constant loss of their habit.
With a population of only 7.000 individuals at liberty...
the Proboscis monkey has received the dubious honor...
of being considered even more threatened than the orangutan.
As a lover of natural trips and a fan of visual arts...
I think that I´m a kind ambassador for these creatures.
I try to contribute my bit by showing them in their habitat...
...because a picture is better thousand words.
It´s very important that the world Knows, that these animals exist.

The Costa Rica Trip - S2 - Ep.1 - 9400km for New Year's at Quepos pt.1 - Duration: 4:30.this is Quepos!
Ciao 2017!
for a Tico
spending New Year's at the beach
is something common to do
for us
it took us a bit more effort to do it
Welcome to Darmstadt
a relatively small city in Germany
where the only thing a tico can relate it to is
with Junior Diaz
that played in this city
but anyhow
this is where our adventure began
to our first destination
and arrive to the second city of the day
after getting our tickets
we got into our second transportation means
on a plane with very small room
2 and a half hours later
we arrived to our 3rd destination
we didn't leave the airport
but we saw some interesting things!
acorn ham?
is a pig that grows free in the fields
and eats acorns for 4 months
and gets twice it's weight fat
with acorns
only with acorns
is similar to nuts or almonds
and besides that is an Iberic pig which is a different race from the white pig
so the fat infiltration that it has
is a pig that is every day walking, not stuck on a farm
so the pig and its meat and fat is healthier
the foot and all
3 years!
3 years to build
thank you!
we finally arrived to our gate
with destination
San Jose, Costa Rica
Nicoya gulf
last day of the year
to be continued...
