but this we talk about popsockets now it's a little bit of an amusing name but

it's described as being an expanding stand and grip for smartphones and

tablets this product is a best seller on Amazon as of early 2018 and this is

whipe done some research into it to hopefully save you a whole lot of time

figuring out whether it's the right product for you or not

basically the balance of this video is what I identified in doing the research

now interestingly there is a how should I say this a lot of critical reviews I

mean the four or five star reviews only make up about 58 percent of the total

reviews and the one on two star reviews 35 percent so that's quite a big spread

for something that is a bestseller now I'll run through what I identified and

perhaps this will help steer you in the right direction and you know give you an

idea as to why this is now under positive reviews

the first answer receives a lot of praise for as it is described as being

very convenient with multiple uses here's a few quotes it really helps me

hold my phone to type it helps me avoid dropping the phone it allows me to get a

better handle for selfies and someone saying they like using it as a stand

number two that adhesive is described as being very good people saying it sticks

great the sticky part was fantastic the adhesive is strong I was able to stick

it on three times because I couldn't find the right spot the first two times

it's held after being taken off twice supremely well so you get the idea

number three multiple purchases noted by fans of the product so yeah basically

people who love this product love it a lot and they had purchased you know my

the product multiple times I think one person was up to 12 or something you

know because they're buying it for all their family and whatnot so if you love

it you really love this product number four a lot of comments along the lines

of people who thought it was a bit gimmicky and they never really

they needed a pop socket until they tried using one but as soon as they

tried using one they see that's instantly converted and kind of now

loved the product now moving on to things to consider now this is the

neutral category and this is perhaps going to explain to you why there's such

a low percentage of positive reviews in such a high percentage of critical

reviews there's basically a lot of counterfeits out there now this is no

doubt due to the fact that this pop socket has become extremely popular and

it would seem a lot of people are receiving fakes some of them are not

aware of the fact that it's a fake and are posting a lot of criticism so it's a

little bit hard to separate out the positive you know the genuine critical

reviews from critical reviews relating to the fates

I mean suffice to say if your user buy just make sure you're buying from a

reputable retailer and obviously don't get suckered in by something that looks

like you're too good to be too true price the other things to be aware of

that were noted in the reviews is actually called a pop socket but some

people were receiving ones that were called a pop socket wireless or

different variations on that so if you get something that doesn't just say pop

socket that's straight away an indication that perhaps you've got one

of these counterfeits so be aware of that and just take a bit of caution

critical review highlights now as said that there's a lot of critical reviews

and it's hard to know how many of these are due to the counterfeits vs.

shortcomings and the genuine product but nonetheless I'll run through with you

the five main things that get noted as criticisms and you can make your own

judgement call first of all a lot of people saying the adhesive is junk junk

and that it just comes off really easy now I'm guessing this is probably

because of people receiving knock-offs one of the workarounds that suggested by

people is putting on a few drops of superglue which seems to resolve the

issue but obviously that might make it a bit difficult to

knew that if you want to you know relocate it in the future

number two you know there's a lot of reviews Connor on the theme of it's okay

but not great or it's just okay me you know people who weren't particularly

impressed following the hype or the positive reviews again not sure maybe

that relates to the original genuine product maybe it's because of the

knockoffs it's hard to tell number three there's a lot of people are saying it

didn't last long like people say it lasted twenty four-hours-a-day three

weeks a week you know three weeks eccentric cetera this was both in

regards to the adhesive not holding but also people saying things like the

plastic round part detached from the silicone expandable part every few days

etc etc so again not sure if this is to do with the quality of the original or

the knockoff number for some people saying look it's not so convenient as

its promoted as being some people saying look that adds bulk to the back of the

phone some people saying look if you keep your phone in your pocket you won't

like it because it tends to catch on your pocket when you're trying to pull

it out someone else saying look if you have a large phone like an iPhone

six-plus it will not work as a stand unless you place it specifically in the

right place but then it's not in a comfortable spot when you're holding it

so those last couple of criticisms they're probably quite relevant

regardless of whether it's the genuine product or the knockoff and I think

they're quite fair things to take into consideration number five again this is

this one probably doesn't matter whether it's a knockoff or not people saying

when you've got this on your phone you can't use it for wireless charging so

that's the last criticism so that's what I found in doing the research I hope

this is save you time and will make your decision easy as to where they're this

is the right product for you or not as always I'll put the

hello everybody and I wanted to debunk this myth today that Motor Club of

America is a pyramid scheme there isn't video floating around on

YouTube and it has a lot of hits and it's basically somebody giving their

opinion about whether Motor Club of America is a pyramid scheme based on no

facts in fact throughout the entire video he's like in my opinion in my

opinion and the sad thing is a lot of people are listening to this person and

going off of his opinion instead of researching the actual facts so I want

to debunk this myth and I want to show you the facts let's start off first with

what is a pyramid scheme because a lot of people don't even know they look at

something and if it involves you getting paid when you refer others or you sell a

products they are likely think it's a pyramid scheme that's wrong flat-out

wrong so what is a pyramid scheme and I pulled up this website from

investopedia.com and it has a really good article about a

pyramid scheme and I'm going to scroll down here and we'll just read through

some of it those pyramid schemes have cost people their hard-earned savings I

don't want to read the entire thing so let's continue says as its name

indicates the pyramid scheme is structured like a pyramid it typically

starts with one person the initial recruiter who is on top of

the pyramid this person recruits a second who is required to invest a

certain amount which is paid to the initial recruiter in order to make his

or her money back the new recruit must recruit more people under him or her

each of whom also will have to invest if the recruit gets ten more people to

invest he or she will make a profit with just a small investment

further the new people become recruiters and each one is turned is in turn

required to enlist an additional ten people resulting in a total of a hundred

of more people each of these new recruits is obligated to pay their

investment to the person who recruited him or her

recruiters get a profit of all the money received minus their initial investment

page the person who recruited them the process continues until the base of the

pyramid is no longer strong enough to support the infrastructure and there are

no more recruits the problem is that the scheme cannot go on forever because

there are a finit number of people who can join the scheme people are deceived

into believing that by giving money they will make more money however no wealth

has been created no product has been sold no investment has been made and no

service has been provided I want you guys to pay very close

attention to this it says no product has been sold no

investment has been made no service has been provided very important there the

fraud lies in the fact that it is impossible for the cycle to sustain

itself so people who will lose their money somewhere down the line those who

are most vulnerable are those toward the bottom of the pyramid where it becomes

impossible to recruit the number of people required to paid off the previous

layer of recruiters this kind of fraud is illegal in the United States and most

countries throughout the world it is estimated that 90% of people who get

involved in the pyramid scheme or lose them money guys so there are several

characteristics of a pyramid scheme that I picked up here first of all you pay

the person that recruits you directly okay secondly you have to recruit 10 or

more people to make your money back thirdly there is no product being sold

or service being rendered fourth they are illegal fifth people struggle making

their money back there are five I have characteristics right there that

I named him a pyramid scheme let me explain to you now why Motor Club of

America does not fit this definition number one Motor Club of America

does not require you to recruit ten or more people in order to make your money

back you could recruit one person and easily make back your money because you

number two number two remember I said there's no products being sold there are

no services being rendered okay it was here in one of these paragraphs Motor

Club of America does offer a service their service is unlimited

emergency roadside assistance plus a ton of other benefits that you get when you

sign up with them so whenever you pay the $40 to sign up your money goes to

the services that you are paying for that you will receive from Motor Club of

America that's it you're not paying for anything else but the services so you

can see how that does not fit the definition of a pyramid scheme because

you get something in return for the money that you invest so there's two

ways right there that show that this is not a pyramid scheme you don't have to

recruit ten or more people to make your money back

and there's an actual service being sold here next it says how at the people at

the bottom are the ones struggling to get their money back indebted that are

done but did you know that you can make more money than the person who recruited

you with Motor Club of America there's no cap there's no limits I could make a

lot more money than the person who recruited me if you were to sign up with

me you can make a lot more money than me if you wanted to

there is no limits there is no cap on it there's no boundaries

you can go above and beyond the person that recruited you and make a lot more

money so again that does not fit the definition of a pyramid scheme then it

Motor Club of America is a very legal business I don't know where my money

website just went but let me close out of here not only have they been in

business since 1926 not only do they provide a legitimate service to their

members they also have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau let me show

you here's the BBB org let's type in Motor Club of America and they are based

in Oklahoma City City Oklahoma you

right here Motor Club of America enterprises Oklahoma City Oklahoma

BAM a-plus rating so what a company that is illegally

operating

that has been in business for many many many years have an A+ rating with the

Better Business Bureau I don't think so I truly don't think so

also let's go here this is my back office

that you get you get a free website whenever you sign up with Motor Club of

America here's my back office I'm Sarah Gilmore look at the paperwork I had to

fill out in order to become an associate I set up my direct deposit also I had to

fill out an associate agreement okay I had to sign that I filled out a w-9

because I had to pay taxes I filed taxes this year based off of the Commission's

I made in 2017 with Motor Club of America and depending on what state you

live and you have to get a state license in order to sell the benefits does this

seem like it's illegal does this seem like it's a pyramid scheme no the only

thing that seems like to me is this is a legitimate company that offers an

amazing service to their members and they'll simply pay you when you refer

others to their services that's it w-9 associate agreement and a

state license now seemed like there was one more thing I

was going to bring it

okay so I also wanted to show you a few other companies that do the same thing

they operate based off of the same concept that Motor Club of America does

these companies just like MCA will pay you as a paying member to refer others

your next ride we have lift for lyft drivers that lift referring another

person to become a driver will make you eligible for five hundred dollars in

referral you make in seventy five dollars for each referral who ends up

becoming a host Capital One 360 $20 per person signed up but you can keep

collecting referral rewards and tell your each one thousand dollars smarty

pig will give you ten dollars per referral but you can refer one it but

you can refer 100 people city they are offering generous referral rewards that

could be anything from a free tablet to a five hundred dollar reward

chase you can refer up to ten people a hundred dollars cash back if they spend

number 500 within their for first few months

guys there are so many companies that will pay you to refer others Oh AT&T $25

are a pyramid scheme because see if you notice first in order to get paid you

unless you in fact are paying that gym first to work out there why would they

pay you to refer others if you are not a paying customer

same thing with Verizon same thing with AT&T however something many of you might

not know is that and that was the last thing I was gonna bring up you can join

Motor Club of America for free and you can make money without ever having

buying their benefits see here you have to invest when it described here on the

pyramid scheme Motor Club of America you don't however if you want to have a

mentor if you want free training then yes you are gonna have to spend money on

the benefits to sign up under a sponsor because nobody is going to spend their

hard-earned time their valuable time training somebody for free I'm sorry but

it doesn't work that way plus more than likely the person you are signing up

under paid the $40 as well and bought the benefits it's one of the best
