If I loved you

time and again I would try to say

all I'd want you to know

If I loved you

words wouldn't come in an easy way

Round in circles I'd go

Longing to tell you

but afraid and shy

I'd let my golden chances pass me by

Soon you'd leave me

Off you would go in the mist of day

Never, never to know

how I loved you

If I loved you

How to Draw Animals | Doodle with me! - Duration: 11:53.

Hi everyone, I am so excited to get this tutorial out to you!

So many of you have mentioned that you wanted tutorials so I noted them all down and have

a list of different video ideas for things to help you draw.

In this tutorial I'll show you how to draw animals in my style and a little bit of decorative

florals so that you can add these into your journal setups or anything you're working on!

Next on my list are mountains, landscapes, and more plant based subjects.

So keep the suggestions coming and I'll keep adding them onto the list for you!

We are going to start with this bunny, who is taking a break from life to simply smell the roses.

Start off by determining the overall shape of the image.

Is it more of an oval, square, rectangle, or another basic shape?

This bunny is more like a rectangle, so I'll start by drawing out my box.

This is the best way to place your drawing where you want it on the page and to figure

out the size of the drawing.

Next I am cutting the box into thirds horizontally and then drawing in a circle for the bunny's head.

Add another circle for the bunny's body.

Now add a little point for the nose and then connect the circles with a curve.

Draw a guideline from the nose, cutting the circle kind of in half, and then just gauge

where the eye and cheek will go.

Onto the ears, just follow along with me as I keep referencing the original image.

For the roses, start off with the stem, and then draw a small spiral for the flower top

and connect the spiral to the stem.

The second stem is more like a bud and that as a shape similar to a rounded triangle.

Add in the leaves and repeat that for the other set of roses.

And now it's time to ink!

One very effective way to add more details into your ink drawings is to add shadow using lines.

Basically filling in a few areas that would normally create a shadow with your micron,

or to simply add emphasis in those areas.

So very lightly, just pile on the lines until it gets darker and darker, this is called

crosshatching.

I'll get into ink drawings more in another video, if you guys are interested to help

you shade and create contrast just by using your fineliners.

Once the inking in done, I am going back in with my copper gelly roll and filling in some

areas to create a nice balance in my drawing.

The gelly roll also covers up the ink, so if you made any mistakes, you can hide it here.

The second animal is this bear, looking up towards the sky, grateful for all that he has.

Again start by drawing out your guidelines and boxes and then filling in the shape of

the bear.

You can use as many guidelines as you need.

So don't be afraid to put in a ton of lines to help you find the right shape.

The bear's nose will be perfectly at the corner of the rectangle and then from there

draw a curved line down as the bear's back, round it for its bottom and then a little

bit inward for its hind leg.

Then from the nose, draw a very slight S curve for the neck to his front paw.

And then finish off with the rest of his legs and then details like his eyes, ears, and

tail, using guidelines to figure out the placement of his eye.

Notice that I didn't follow all of my guidelines and that's okay, my goal is to just get

his shape down and proportions looking okay!

For the leaves surrounding him, start off with a line for the stem, add an oval to the

top of the stem, and then draw narrow hearts down the stem for the leaves.

They start off smaller, get slightly larger, and then smaller again towards the bottom

of the stem.

Now for the inking process, this is the best time to add in those little details of the

shadows like we did for the bunny, and zigzagging lines now to mimic fur on his legs and belly.

Keep the zizags very small and subtle so that they don't look like spikes.

Once that is done, I am going back in to finish off with the copper to the inside of his ears

and the leaves.

The third animal is this sweet fox, just lounging in the warmth of nature.

This is a little more difficult because the head sticks up from the body.

But overall, it still kind of fits in a rectangle, so we can start off with that.

Add in some guidelines to figure out where his head goes and then draw a circle.

Now draw a curved line in the middle of the circle and that will be our guides for his

eyes.

Where the curved line hits the edge of the circle, we can move out a little bit and make

that point his nose, following the curve of the forehead.

Now curve the line to form the shape of a football as the fox's face.

And then just follow along with me as I place his ears and draw the rest of his body.

For the flowers surrounding the fox, they are very similar to those of the bunny, but

with different leaves.

So you can use the same methods to draw them.

Add in the details again with the micron and then for areas where he is really furry, add

in little alternating dashes to depict the thicker fur.

Another tip about inking or drawing in general, is to stay loose.

Be aware of how tight you are gripping your pencil because, it may sound weird, but I've

realized that the looser I hold my tool, the more forgiving I am with my lines.

So my focus is more about the fluid motion of drawing rather than creating perfect shapes.

I remember, when I was still learning, I would hold my pencil so tight, that my hand would

cramp and I was pressing so hard on the paper that it left an indentation even after I erased

the line.

So, take it easy and let it flow.

The fourth animal is this sleeping dear, eyes closed and just basking in serenity.

It is the same dear in my print that I have in my shop, in case you were wondering.

I love it so much that I wanted to teach you how to draw it.

Start by figuring out where her head sits within the overall shape of the rectangle.

And then draw a circle for the main part of the head and then something like a trapezoid

for the snout.

Add in the ears using the guides for reference and then the nose and eyes.

Now for the body, draw an oval all the way around and then gauge where the tail and legs go.

The leaves are again similar to that of the bear, but they are spaced a little further apart.

For the spots on the back of the dear, instead of doing dashes like we did on the fox,

I am adding in areas of lines to mimic larger furry spots.

So they look kind of like a series of slashes.

Finish off with copper accents on the ears and on the leaves.

The fifth and final animal is a happy squirrel holding an acorn, simply enjoying life.

We're going to start off by drawing the squirrel's body, fitting in an overall shape

of a rectangle.

Add in a small circle with a curved guideline in the center of the circle for his eyes and

his nose, to the upper right corner of the rectangle and then a larger circle for the

squirrel's bottom on the bottom left.

Connect the two circles following my lines and add in his feet and then his arms.

Now draw in the acorn, starting off with another rectangle to determine the size.

After the ears, eyes, and cheeks are added in, draw another rectangle for its tail.

And then create S curves to mimic the curve of the tail.

Again, it's okay if you don't stay in the rectangle, it's only there to help with proportion

and layout.

Remember to trust your creative initiation, especially when you're sketching.

So if you think that you need to stay in the guides or if you need to draw out of the box,

it is completely up to you!

For these flowers, start off with a line for the stem and then add a little circle on the

tippy top.

Then add little Ws underneath, changing the amount of dips it has.

And then finish off with some leaves.

Complete the drawing by adding in dashes to the squirrel's tail, like we did on the fox,

and then add in the copper accents to its ears and the only the leaves of the flowers.

I started this tutorial hoping to fit all the animals on one page, but decided to separate

them into two and that's why the deer and squirrel are on the left page, which was supposed

to be blank.

Overall the spread looks pretty good, but I do want to add in this quote by Ansel Adams,

that fits so true to what I believe about nature and my spread isn't complete without

a quote.

He says: I believe the world is incomprehensibly beautiful — an endless prospect of magic and wonder.

There is always a sense of peace to everything.

So with my drawings and artwork, I love to try to depict that quality in nature, to create

a similar feeling when you look at each piece or even a little part of it.

I want it to be a like a nice break from the endless expectations of our day to day.

Added in the date and title of the spread up top and then the name of each animal next

to each drawing.

And I am done!

I hope that this tutorial helped you to simplify the process of drawing even just the slightest

or gave a little insight to how I draw my animals.

Remember to leave me suggestions or little love in the comment section and if you recreate

any of these, tag me in your photos on instagram, I would love to see your work!

Make sure to actually tag me in the photo instead of adding me in the caption,

this way I can go back to your photos if I missed the notifications.

I am wishing you the best of days full of wonderful feelings and a balance to life.

I'll see you next time, bye!

WHAT ABOUT the FLATIRON Building?!?! - Duration: 4:35.

It's time for another episode of Five Facts.

I'm here today at the Flatiron Building.

Here's an interesting fact.

The property here was purchased in 1899 by two brothers Samuel and Mott Newhouse.

They joined a syndicate led by Harry S. Black, the head of the George A. Fuller

Company, and filed plans to build a 20-story building on this triangular plot.

Here's a fact you might not know.

Despite rumors that it got its name from a household appliance,

this triangular region confined by Broadway, 5th Avenue,

22nd and 23rd streets was known as the Flatiron well before the building's

construction. First formal name for the building was actually the Fuller

Building, named after the construction company that built it.

Here's a quick fact.

The building was designed by a Chicago architect, Daniel Burnham, in the

Beaux-Arts style, featuring French and Italian Renaissance influence.

The Flatiron Building is a distinctive triangular shaped building with a steel structure.

With exactly 3,680 tons of steel.

It stands at a total of 22 stories and 307 feet.

The 21st floor was actually added three years after the building was complete.

And at one end of the building it's only six feet wide!

So here it is, the last fact. Many New Yorkers at the time felt the building

wouldn't hold up. They referred to it as "Burnham's Folly." They imagined the winds

would knock it over or that it would collapse due to the wind tunnel effect

created by the triangular building at the intersection of two large streets.

The building is still here, I wonder what they would say now?

Have you ever heard of the phrase 23 Skidoo?

It means to get lost, scram.

Even though the phrase was popularized in the late 1890s, it is indelibly

associated with the strong gusts of winds that whistle around the Flatiron

Building here on 23rd Street. New York Police Officers who regularly patrolled

in front of the Flatiron Building, they usually had to chase away men who are

hoping to get a glimpse of women's skirts fly up due to the strong gusts of

winds here.

I don't even know what to say that.

Essence Of Murli 04-02-2018 - Duration: 8:51.

Om Shanti !

Today's Murli Date is 4th February 2018

( We will listen to Avyakt Baapdada's Avyakt Murli. This Murli was first spoken on 27th April 1983 )

Murli Heading : Methods to transform your vision and attitude. ( When our vision and attitude is positive, our actions become positive )

Today, BapDada is looking at the gathering of all the effort-makers.

All the knowledge is merged in the word "effort-maker" (pursharathi).

The word "pursharathi" means "purush" (being, master) and rathi (charioteer).

Charioteer of what? Master of what? To be a master of matter, that is, the charioteer of the chariot. ( i.e soul )

( When soul is present in body i.e the charioteer present in body, body becomes a chariot . When soul departs body becomes deadbody )

To be a master of matter, that is, the charioteer of the chariot.

What would happen if you were to stabilise in the meaning of just this one word?

You would easily be able to overcome all weaknesses. ( Because the soul would rule over senses and become victorious )

The master has all rights over matter and is not subservient to it.

The charioteer drives the chariot; he does not move along whilst being subservient to the chariot.

One who has all rights has all rights to all the powers of the Almighty Authority Father,

that is, he has a right to the inheritance and has all rights over it.

All the powers are the Father's property and every child has a right to that property.

To those who constantly make their thinking and their doing equal with determination,

to those who constantly see the form of a soul with your divine eye

so that, whomsoever they look at, they only see the soul,

to those effort-making souls who stabilise in the meaning of the word "effort",

BapDada's love, remembrance and namaste.

We spiritual children convey to spiritual Baapdada, our love our remembrance, our good morning & our namaste namaste

Blessing: May you be an embodiment of easy success by serving through your words and thoughts at the same time.

To serve with the power of your thoughts at the same time as serving through words is the powerful final service.

When you have the combined form of serving through your thoughts and also serving through your words,

there will be easy success which will bring about double results.

There are a few who serve through words, but all of those who look after things or are engaged in other matters have to serve with their minds.

The atmosphere becomes yogyukt through this.

Let each one feel, "I have to serve" and the atmosphere will then become powerful and there will be double service.

Slogan: Remain constantly seated on the seat of a stable stage and you will remain unshakeable and immovable.

Om Shanti !

Kicking Tip for Self Defense Training: Hands Up! - Duration: 4:08.

Hey.

Ando here from SenseiAndo.com and Happy Life Martial Arts.

One of the most common bad habits that I see when people throw kicks is dropping their

guard.

Could be one hand or both.

Either way, it's a bad habit.

Hold on—before you write me some nasty comment, let me say right up front that some people

might drop a hand in order to counter-balance a high kick.

Some people might drop a hand in order to add power to their kick by counter-rotation.

Some people might drop their hands in order to draw their opponent in a little bit closer.

Now, if those are the reasons that you're dropping your hand, then I have no problem.

That's all fine.

Why?

Because you're doing all of those things on purpose.

Those are part of your deliberate strategy.

That's not what I'm talking about.

I'm talking about the people who drop their guard and have no idea that they're doing

it.

It's crazy how common this problem actually is.

I mean, I will stand right in front of someone and say, "Okay, keep your hands up."

Bloop.

"No, no.

Okay. this hand.

Don't let this hand drop."

Bloop.

"Listen.

Seriously, man—keep your hands right here."

Bloop.

Ahh.

All right.

Today, let me give you one simple drill to help you keep your guard up so you'll be

safer when you're throwing kicks.

All right.

I call this drill, "Holding the Baby".

Now, if you have a real baby you can go pick up, fantastic.

If you don't have a real baby, well, then take a little drive to the park.

You can usually grab one there.

Wait, wait, wait!

That was a joke—don't do any of that.

Okay, okay.

So, grab a pillow, or roll up your jacket, grab your teddy bear—whatever—just hold

on to something and pretend that you're carrying a baby.

That's it.

Now, go practice your kicks.

Go hit the bag, drill back-and-forth across the room, you can train however you like,

just don't drop the baby.

Now, I know that sounds really easy, but it's not.

Think about it.

There's a big difference between the feeling of kicking with your hands behind your body

or your hands in front of your body.

There's a big difference between kicking with your hands down or kicking with your hands

up.

The goal here is to build a habit of always maintaining a strong guard.

Once you have that, if you then choose to throw a hand down as part of your strategy

because it works for you, great.

Go for it.

Yeah, I know—you're tough.

You're already wondering if you can do the same exercise holding on to some dumbbells

or a weight plate.

Well, of course you can, but I wouldn't start with that.

I don't want you to put any extra stress on to your shoulders or your back before you've

made some modifications to your balance and alignment.

So, for now, do me a favor—stick to lightweight objects like the pillow, or the jacket, or

this roll of paper towels.

Now, if you don't feel comfortable walking around the gym cuddling a teddy bear,

I got ya covered.

Just grab a belt or a tee shirt and sling it around your neck.

That will give you something to hang on to while you practice your kicks.

It's the same idea.

If you don't want to hang on to a shirt, how about you just grab your own collar?

Or your bra straps?

Whatever.

Just hang on to something so you get that feeling of keeping your hands up.

Hey—while we're at it, why not grab a balled up pair of socks or a tennis ball and

put that under your chin?

This will help you keep your chin down and your head straight while you're throwing

your kicks.

Letting the head bob around while you kick is another bad habit that most people don't

even know they have… not until they wake up on the floor.

And that's your tip.

Hands up, chin down.

Two crucial habits that will help keep you awake if you're throwing kicks.

If you liked this video, thanks for giving it a thumbs up and hitting subscribe.

Until next time, don't drop the baby and keep fighting for a happy life.

14 cloves of garlic a day keeps the doctor away | 22 Minutes - Duration: 2:31.

With increasingly long wait times at doctor's offices, more people are turning to herbal

remedies, here to talk about alternative medicine is our herbal healing expert,

Cathy Jones.

Thank you.

Yes, So now, Susan.

Thanks!

I am, I am legally required to say I'm in no way an expert, but I do have a medical licence...

Plate!

Kidding!

Just kidding around.

- How do you stay healthy?

- Simple; fourteen cloves of raw garlic every day, Susan.

It's got vitamin C, B6 and magnes-- - Okay.

- Also I take hourly drops of peppermint oil?

- Ooh what for?

- For the garlic breath!

I also take oscillococcinum for the flu, echinacea,

vitamins A, E, I, O and U;

and sometimes Y.

You know, if I can get it.

And guess what?

Guess what my favourite herbal remedy is?

My favourite!

- Weed?

- No.

Wrong.

Hasheesh.

It does cause paranoia, so I take a bottle of fermented Merlot grapes to calm down.

But that is bad for the liver, so I'm on the milk thistle which is a laxative so I have to take a

whole dry pinecone...

- You have to swallow a whole dry pinecone?

- I wish, Susan.

I wish.

- What do you take for a cold?

- Ginger of course but it upsets my stomach, so I drink a smoothie of coconut milk and

lime juice.

- Let me get this straight.

You put the lime in the coconut and drink 'em both up?

- Yeah, I put the lime in the coconut and then I threw up.

So...

I'm sticking to evening primrose, Daytime Primrose and primrose PM and Saint John wort.

Oh You mean Saint John's wort.

- No...the one from New Brunswick.

- Are there any negative side-effects?

- Uhhh... *coughing* - Okay Cathy...

What are the negative side-effects?

- Well... some mild sniffling, sneezing, aching, coughing

and... horking up loogs.

- The side-effect of your anti-cold remedy is a cold?

- Well, I said I wasn't an expert!

- Cathy Jones everybody!

- Did I not!?
