How to Wash Black Car and Prevent Scratches and Swirl Marks | 2000 Viper GTS ACR | Chemical Guys - Duration: 12:13.This is real-world problems man.
You got a heavy clutch.
What's up guys, today we heading back to the Detail Garage with this awesome Mazda Miata.
Okay, I'm just playing, this isn't a Mazda Miata.
It is hard to tell from the inside because it is like a cocoon but this is actually a
Dodge Viper.
It is all black and an ACR which stands for American Club Racer.
We're going to be showing you guys how to properly wash your car without installing
swirls or scratches because at one point in its life it was a Concours D' Elegance winner.
So we are going to give it the proper treatment to prevent paint harm.
We're also going to get in depth by checking and inspecting the paint because this car
is from Oregon where there is rain, fallout and it was outside.
So we're taking the time to clean it up and restore it to its former glory.
It's also just a fun car to have around.
I will admit I don't know a lot about the car but it is still a dream car to many.
As a kid in the mid-nineties you didn't have posters of Countach's or Bugatti's you had
Vipers.
This is a toy car that a lot of us kids had and now that I'm older I have the opportunity
to drive and detail.
So guys, we've just brought the Viper ACR into the Detail Garage and as mentioned we
are going to be starting with the full foaming process.
With any detail we start with the dirtiest area and that is the wheels.
Coming down here, you can see it has these 18 BBS alloy wheels and they are covered in
brake dust.
So we are going to gently remove that because we don't want to scratch the surface but we
still need to get all of this crap off.
We have the Wheel Gerbils, three different sizes and they are all made of wool making
them super soft to insure that the surface isn't harmed.
It collects foam to lubricate the brush while adding cleaning power to the job.
To begin the wheel detailing process we'll rinse off the heavier loose brake dust.
That brown runoff is just all kinds of grime.
There are still contaminants that have embedded the surface.
Brake dust is highly corrosive and it can embed the finish and if it is left to sit
it will deteriorate the clear coat and material of the wheel.
We have DeCon to cut through the brake dust and it attaches to iron.
It will also add lubrication so we aren't grinding debris into the wheel.
On the rotor is has attracted to the iron and it has changed from clear to purple.
That is the chemical reaction and it is emulsifying the grime so that we can clean it away safely.
So now that DeCon has had time to emulsify the brake dust we can start detailing the wheel.
Three Wheel Gerbils starting with the largest one to cover the most surface area.
To add cleaning power and additional lubrication I've added some Diablo Wheel Gel to the bucket.
Starting at the highest point, working all the way to the back of the wheel.
Getting in between the spokes to take down as much grime as possible.
Now the majority of the wheel is clean using the larger brush so now we are going to move
to the medium brush for the more intricate areas like the crevices of the spokes and
behind the caliper.
In the same manner, working from top to bottom getting the hard to reach areas so that the
whole wheel is detailed and clean.
Finally we have found ourselves at the smallest brush to get the remaining areas that we couldn't
fit a larger brush into.
Narrow crevices of the spoke as you can see there are some spots that were missed where
it is harder to fit a large brush.
Using a smaller brush we can gently work out all the filth for a factory shine and all
the brake dust is removed before it can corrode the surface.
The wheel and spokes are detailed we'll hit the face of the wheel using the Soft Green
Flagged Tipped Brush.
Running it around the rim which doesn't need a lot of attention, so just quickly pass over
the wheel and catch any remaining road grime.
Our last step of wheel detailing we are cleaning away the road grime and previous dressings
from the tire.
Using a firmer brush which has these plastic nylon bristles to scrub away the built up
grime which will make it easier for us to apply a new dressing and to reveal a fresh tire.
We are all done detailing the wheels on this Viper and now we are going to move on to the body.
Like we do with all the vehicles we bring in, we are using the two bucket method working
from top to bottom.
The reason for that, is the top and flat panels have heavier more abrasive particles of dirt
so starting there will prevent it from coming into contact with areas you have already detailed.
You may be asking yourself what is different about this vehicle compared to any other detail
we do and that is the use of Black Light Auto Wash.
This is going to create tons of thick suds that prevent scratches and swirls as we are washing.
We are also going to be using our Big Mouth Foam Cannon which aerates thick suds that
everyone loves which is adding lubrication so we don't harm the vehicle.
We'll begin by setting up our buckets.
This is the Chenille Wash Mitt, just put it aside for now.
This is the Big Mouth Foam Cannon which I have already filled with water.
Lets place a Dirt Trap in each bucket to filter out the particles of dirt and road grime to
trap it underneath the platform so that we don't bring it back to the car.
In turn this will keep the car cleaner while we are washing.
I'll add about an ounce to the wash bucket and we will also add the same amount to the
foam cannon.
The large opening to the Big Mouth helps prevent any spills or messes as you're detailing and
I'll reattach the top.
Gently mix it back and forth so instead of shaking it violently creating the foam inside
of the bottle.
Mix it back and forth to bring the whole solution together and it can aerate nicely to produce foam.
So I've just finished foaming the Viper and now using the wash mitt I'll dunk it in the
wash bucket.
Grabbing suds and lubrication.
Now just like we did when we were rinsing and foaming, we're going to start at the highest
point.
Working in straight lines we'll gently wipe away anything that is on the surface.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, black shows all imperfections so we don't
want to add any new ones.
We're taking our time to gently wipe away any abrasive particles of dirt, bird droppings
and fallout for the highest possible shine.
You can see that I have collected some of the dirt and debris that was on the car and
that is why we have a second bucket.
Pushing it all the way against the Dirt Trap and this is forcing the grime underneath the
plate of the cones and it is releasing the filth from the dreads of the wash mitt.
Just like a fish trap, it keeps it inside to keep it away from the car.
To further reduce the dirt in the bucket, I'll take it outside and wring it out on the ground.
*burp* You want to help?
Ladies and gentlemen it is Alex!
Alex came all the way from Indonesia to help us clean this car.
Back in high school we went on a field trip to learn about physics.
So we went to Six Flags and this guys who worked there was super amped to introduce
the Viper.
He was like "ladies and gentlemen the one, the only, Viperrrrrrrrr!"
The long flexible hose makes it easy to travel around any size vehicle without dragging a
machine behind you or worrying about power cords.
Simple aim and it blows away any sitting water.
It also has a rubber tip to insure that the paint isn't harmed as you are drying.
Check that out guys.
We were able to use the Master Blaster to knock out all the surface water.
This is great for a touch-free wash which insures that the surface isn't scratched while
drying.
This black Viper shows any kind of imperfection so we are being very delicate with how we
treat it which is why we chose to go with a touch-free drying process.
As you can see it did a great job, we didn't need to use towels and it removed the water
from the jambs and hard to reach areas.
This is preventing water from running off as we drive away and it looks great.
So if you guys want to learn more about these products head over to our website chemicalguys.com.
I know you like this car, so give it a thumbs up and we'll see you next time right here
in the Detail Garage.

SUREAH AL-E-IMRAN 3 RECITED BY MUSTAFA ABDULLAH AL KHALILسورة ال عمران القارئ:-مصطفي عبد الله خليل - Duration: 1:04:28.IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MOST GRACIOUS THE MOST MERCIFUL
1. Alif, Lam, Meem.
2. Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence.
3. He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel.
4. Before, as guidance for the people. And He revealed the Qur'an. Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah will have a severe punishment, and Allah is exalted in Might, the Owner of Retribution.
5. Indeed, from Allah nothing is hidden in the earth nor in the heaven.
6. It is He who forms you in the wombs however He wills. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
7. It is He who has sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Book; in it are verses [that are] precise - they are the foundation of the Book - and others unspecific. As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allah . But those firm in knowledge say, "We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord." And no one will be reminded except those of understanding.
8. [Who say], "Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
9. Our Lord, surely You will gather the people for a Day about which there is no doubt. Indeed, Allah does not fail in His promise."
10. Indeed, those who disbelieve - never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. And it is they who are fuel for the Fire.
11. [Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and those before them. They denied Our signs, so Allah seized them for their sins. And Allah is severe in penalty.
12. Say to those who disbelieve, "You will be overcome and gathered together to Hell, and wretched is the resting place."
13. Already there has been for you a sign in the two armies which met - one fighting in the cause of Allah and another of disbelievers. They saw them [to be] twice their [own] number by [their] eyesight. But Allah supports with His victory whom He wills. Indeed in that is a lesson for those of vision.
14. Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire - of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return.
15. Say, "Shall I inform you of [something] better than that? For those who fear Allah will be gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and purified spouses and approval from Allah . And Allah is Seeing of [His] servants -
16. Those who say, "Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire,"
17. The patient, the true, the obedient, those who spend [in the way of Allah ], and those who seek forgiveness before dawn.
18. Allah witnesses that there is no deity except Him, and [so do] the angels and those of knowledge - [that He is] maintaining [creation] in justice. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
19. Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allah, then indeed, Allah is swift in [taking] account.
20. So if they argue with you, say, "I have submitted myself to Allah [in Islam], and [so have] those who follow me." And say to those who were given the Scripture and [to] the unlearned, "Have you submitted yourselves?" And if they submit [in Islam], they are rightly guided; but if they turn away - then upon you is only the [duty of] notification. And Allah is Seeing of [His] servants.
21. Those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah and kill the prophets without right and kill those who order justice from among the people - give them tidings of a painful punishment.
22. They are the ones whose deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and for them there will be no helpers.
23. Do you not consider, [O Muhammad], those who were given a portion of the Scripture? They are invited to the Scripture of Allah that it should arbitrate between them; then a party of them turns away, and they are refusing.
24. That is because they say, "Never will the Fire touch us except for [a few] numbered days," and [because] they were deluded in their religion by what they were inventing.
25. So how will it be when We assemble them for a Day about which there is no doubt? And each soul will be compensated [in full for] what it earned, and they will not be wronged.
26. Say, "O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honor whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent.
27. You cause the night to enter the day, and You cause the day to enter the night; and You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give provision to whom You will without account."
28. Let not believers take disbelievers as allies rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that has nothing with Allah, except when taking precaution against them in prudence. And Allah warns you of Himself, and to Allah is the [final] destination.
29. Say, "Whether you conceal what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allah knows it. And He knows that which is in the heavens and that which is on the earth. And Allah is over all things competent.
30. The Day every soul will find what it has done of good present [before it] and what it has done of evil, it will wish that between itself and that [evil] was a great distance. And Allah warns you of Himself, and Allah is Kind to [His] servants."
31. Say, [O Muhammad], "If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."
32. Say, "Obey Allah and the Messenger." But if they turn away - then indeed, Allah does not like the disbelievers.
33. Indeed, Allah chose Adam and Noah and the family of Abraham and the family of 'Imran over the worlds -
34. Descendants, some of them from others. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
35. [Mention, O Muhammad], when the wife of 'Imran said, "My Lord, indeed I have pledged to You what is in my womb, consecrated [for Your service], so accept this from me. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing."
36. But when she delivered her, she said, "My Lord, I have delivered a female." And Allah was most knowing of what she delivered, "And the male is not like the female. And I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her in You and [for] her descendants from Satan, the expelled [from the mercy of Allah ]."
37. So her Lord accepted her with good acceptance and caused her to grow in a good manner and put her in the care of Zechariah. Every time Zechariah entered upon her in the prayer chamber, he found with her provision. He said, "O Mary, from where is this [coming] to you?" She said, "It is from Allah . Indeed, Allah provides for whom He wills without account."
38. At that, Zechariah called upon his Lord, saying, "My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication."
39. So the angels called him while he was standing in prayer in the chamber, "Indeed, Allah gives you good tidings of John, confirming a word from Allah and [who will be] honorable, abstaining [from women], and a prophet from among the righteous."
40. He said, "My Lord, how will I have a boy when I have reached old age and my wife is barren?" The angel said, "Such is Allah ; He does what He wills."
41. He said, "My Lord, make for me a sign." He Said, "Your sign is that you will not [be able to] speak to the people for three days except by gesture. And remember your Lord much and exalt [Him with praise] in the evening and the morning."
42. And [mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds.
43. O Mary, be devoutly obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow with those who bow [in prayer]."
44. That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you, [O Muhammad]. And you were not with them when they cast their pens as to which of them should be responsible for Mary. Nor were you with them when they disputed.
45. [And mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah ].
46. He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous."
47. She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is Allah ; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is.
48. And He will teach him writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel
49. And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of Allah . And I cure the blind and the leper, and I give life to the dead - by permission of Allah . And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.
50. And [I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear Allah and obey me.
51. Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is the straight path."
52. But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah ?" The disciples said," We are supporters for Allah . We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].
53. Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger Jesus, so register us among the witnesses [to truth]."
54. And the disbelievers planned, but Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners.
55. [Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.
56. And as for those who disbelieved, I will punish them with a severe punishment in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers."
57. But as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards, and Allah does not like the wrongdoers.
58. This is what We recite to you, [O Muhammad], of [Our] verses and the precise [and wise] message.
59. Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was.
60. The truth is from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters.
61. Then whoever argues with you about it after [this] knowledge has come to you - say, "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then supplicate earnestly [together] and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars [among us]."
62. Indeed, this is the true narration. And there is no deity except Allah . And indeed, Allah is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
63. But if they turn away, then indeed - Allah is Knowing of the corrupters.
64. Say, "O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah ." But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]."
65. O People of the Scripture, why do you argue about Abraham while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Then will you not reason?
66. Here you are - those who have argued about that of which you have [some] knowledge, but why do you argue about that of which you have no knowledge? And Allah knows, while you know not.
67. Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, a Muslim [submitting to Allah ]. And he was not of the polytheists.
68. Indeed, the most worthy of Abraham among the people are those who followed him [in submission to Allah ] and this prophet, and those who believe [in his message]. And Allah is the ally of the believers.
69. A faction of the people of the Scripture wish they could mislead you. But they do not mislead except themselves, and they perceive [it] not.
70. O People of the Scripture, why do you disbelieve in the verses of Allah while you witness [to their truth]?
71. O People of the Scripture, why do you confuse the truth with falsehood and conceal the truth while you know [it]?
72. And a faction of the People of the Scripture say [to each other], "Believe in that which was revealed to the believers at the beginning of the day and reject it at its end that perhaps they will abandon their religion,
73. And do not trust except those who follow your religion." Say, "Indeed, the [true] guidance is the guidance of Allah . [Do you fear] lest someone be given [knowledge] like you were given or that they would [thereby] argue with you before your Lord?" Say, "Indeed, [all] bounty is in the hand of Allah - He grants it to whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Wise."
74. He selects for His mercy whom He wills. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty.
75. And among the People of the Scripture is he who, if you entrust him with a great amount [of wealth], he will return it to you. And among them is he who, if you entrust him with a [single] silver coin, he will not return it to you unless you are constantly standing over him [demanding it]. That is because they say, "There is no blame upon us concerning the unlearned." And they speak untruth about Allah while they know [it].
76. But yes, whoever fulfills his commitment and fears Allah - then indeed, Allah loves those who fear Him.
77. Indeed, those who exchange the covenant of Allah and their [own] oaths for a small price will have no share in the Hereafter, and Allah will not speak to them or look at them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them; and they will have a painful punishment.
78. And indeed, there is among them a party who alter the Scripture with their tongues so you may think it is from the Scripture, but it is not from the Scripture. And they say, "This is from Allah," but it is not from Allah . And they speak untruth about Allah while they know.
79. It is not for a human [prophet] that Allah should give him the Scripture and authority and prophethood and then he would say to the people, "Be servants to me rather than Allah," but [instead, he would say], "Be pious scholars of the Lord because of what you have taught of the Scripture and because of what you have studied."
80. Nor could he order you to take the angels and prophets as lords. Would he order you to disbelief after you had been Muslims?
81. And [recall, O People of the Scripture], when Allah took the covenant of the prophets, [saying], "Whatever I give you of the Scripture and wisdom and then there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you, you [must] believe in him and support him." [ Allah ] said, "Have you acknowledged and taken upon that My commitment?" They said, "We have acknowledged it." He said, "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."
82. And whoever turned away after that - they were the defiantly disobedient.
83. So is it other than the religion of Allah they desire, while to Him have submitted [all] those within the heavens and earth, willingly or by compulsion, and to Him they will be returned?
84. Say, "We have believed in Allah and in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Descendants, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [submitting] to Him."
85. And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.
86. How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and had witnessed that the Messenger is true and clear signs had come to them? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
87. Those - their recompense will be that upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and the people, all together,
88. Abiding eternally therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.
89. Except for those who repent after that and correct themselves. For indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
90. Indeed, those who reject the message after their belief and then increase in disbelief - never will their [claimed] repentance be accepted, and they are the ones astray.
91. Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers - never would the [whole] capacity of the earth in gold be accepted from one of them if he would [seek to] ransom himself with it. For those there will be a painful punishment, and they will have no helpers.
92. Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah ] from that which you love. And whatever you spend - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.
93. All food was lawful to the Children of Israel except what Israel had made unlawful to himself before the Torah was revealed. Say, [O Muhammad], "So bring the Torah and recite it, if you should be truthful."
94. And whoever invents about Allah untruth after that - then those are [truly] the wrongdoers.
95. Say, " Allah has told the truth. So follow the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth; and he was not of the polytheists."
96. Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Makkah - blessed and a guidance for the worlds.
97. In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves - then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.
98. Say, "O People of the Scripture, why do you disbelieve in the verses of Allah while Allah is Witness over what you do?"
99. Say, "O People of the Scripture, why do you avert from the way of Allah those who believe, seeking to make it [seem] deviant, while you are witnesses [to the truth]? And Allah is not unaware of what you do."
100. O you who have believed, if you obey a party of those who were given the Scripture, they would turn you back, after your belief, [to being] unbelievers.
101. And how could you disbelieve while to you are being recited the verses of Allah and among you is His Messenger? And whoever holds firmly to Allah has [indeed] been guided to a straight path.
102. O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him].
103. And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.
104. And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful.
105. And do not be like the ones who became divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them. And those will have a great punishment.
106. On the Day [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black, [to them it will be said], "Did you disbelieve after your belief? Then taste the punishment for what you used to reject."
107. But as for those whose faces will turn white, [they will be] within the mercy of Allah . They will abide therein eternally.
108. These are the verses of Allah . We recite them to you, [O Muhammad], in truth; and Allah wants no injustice to the worlds.
109. To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And to Allah will [all] matters be returned.
110. You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah . If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient.
111. They will not harm you except for [some] annoyance. And if they fight you, they will show you their backs; then they will not be aided.
112. They have been put under humiliation [by Allah ] wherever they are overtaken, except for a covenant from Allah and a rope from the Muslims. And they have drawn upon themselves anger from Allah and have been put under destitution. That is because they disbelieved in the verses of Allah and killed the prophets without right. That is because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed.
113. They are not [all] the same; among the People of the Scripture is a community standing [in obedience], reciting the verses of Allah during periods of the night and prostrating [in prayer].
114. They believe in Allah and the Last Day, and they enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and hasten to good deeds. And those are among the righteous.
115. And whatever good they do - never will it be removed from them. And Allah is Knowing of the righteous.
116. Indeed, those who disbelieve - never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all, and those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.
117. The example of what they spend in this worldly life is like that of a wind containing frost which strikes the harvest of a people who have wronged themselves and destroys it. And Allah has not wronged them, but they wrong themselves.
118. O you who have believed, do not take as intimates those other than yourselves, for they will not spare you [any] ruin. They wish you would have hardship. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater. We have certainly made clear to you the signs, if you will use reason.
119. Here you are loving them but they are not loving you, while you believe in the Scripture - all of it. And when they meet you, they say, "We believe." But when they are alone, they bite their fingertips at you in rage. Say, "Die in your rage. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts."
120. If good touches you, it distresses them; but if harm strikes you, they rejoice at it. And if you are patient and fear Allah, their plot will not harm you at all. Indeed, Allah is encompassing of what they do.
121. And [remember] when you, [O Muhammad], left your family in the morning to post the believers at their stations for the battle [of Uhud] - and Allah is Hearing and Knowing -
122. When two parties among you were about to lose courage, but Allah was their ally; and upon Allah the believers should rely.
123. And already had Allah given you victory at [the battle of] Badr while you were few in number. Then fear Allah ; perhaps you will be grateful.
124. [Remember] when you said to the believers, "Is it not sufficient for you that your Lord should reinforce you with three thousand angels sent down?
125. Yes, if you remain patient and conscious of Allah and the enemy come upon you [attacking] in rage, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand angels having marks [of distinction]
126. And Allah made it not except as [a sign of] good tidings for you and to reassure your hearts thereby. And victory is not except from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise -
127. That He might cut down a section of the disbelievers or suppress them so that they turn back disappointed.
128. Not for you, [O Muhammad, but for Allah ], is the decision whether He should [cut them down] or forgive them or punish them, for indeed, they are wrongdoers.
129. And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
130. O you who have believed, do not consume usury, doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful.
131. And fear the Fire, which has been prepared for the disbelievers.
132. And obey Allah and the Messenger that you may obtain mercy.
133. And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous
134. Who spend [in the cause of Allah ] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good;
135. And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive sins except Allah ? - and [who] do not persist in what they have done while they know.
136. Those - their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow [in Paradise], wherein they will abide eternally; and excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers.
137. Similar situations [as yours] have passed on before you, so proceed throughout the earth and observe how was the end of those who denied.
138. This [Qur'an] is a clear statement to [all] the people and a guidance and instruction for those conscious of Allah .
139. So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers.
140. If a wound should touch you - there has already touched the [opposing] people a wound similar to it. And these days [of varying conditions] We alternate among the people so that Allah may make evident those who believe and [may] take to Himself from among you martyrs - and Allah does not like the wrongdoers -
141. And that Allah may purify the believers [through trials] and destroy the disbelievers.
142. Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause and made evident those who are steadfast?
143. And you had certainly wished for martyrdom before you encountered it, and you have [now] seen it [before you] while you were looking on.
144. Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [to unbelief]? And he who turns back on his heels will never harm Allah at all; but Allah will reward the grateful.
145. And it is not [possible] for one to die except by permission of Allah at a decree determined. And whoever desires the reward of this world - We will give him thereof; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter - We will give him thereof. And we will reward the grateful.
142. And how many a prophet [fought and] with him fought many religious scholars. But they never lost assurance due to what afflicted them in the cause of Allah, nor did they weaken or submit. And Allah loves the steadfast.
147. And their words were not but that they said, "Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people."
148. So Allah gave them the reward of this world and the good reward of the Hereafter. And Allah loves the doers of good.
149. O you who have believed, if you obey those who disbelieve, they will turn you back on your heels, and you will [then] become losers.
150. But Allah is your protector, and He is the best of helpers.
151. We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve for what they have associated with Allah of which He had not sent down [any] authority. And their refuge will be the Fire, and wretched is the residence of the wrongdoers.
152. And Allah had certainly fulfilled His promise to you when you were killing the enemy by His permission until [the time] when you lost courage and fell to disputing about the order [given by the Prophet] and disobeyed after He had shown you that which you love. Among you are some who desire this world, and among you are some who desire the Hereafter. Then he turned you back from them [defeated] that He might test you. And He has already forgiven you, and Allah is the possessor of bounty for the believers.
153. [Remember] when you [fled and] climbed [the mountain] without looking aside at anyone while the Messenger was calling you from behind. So Allah repaid you with distress upon distress so you would not grieve for that which had escaped you [of victory and spoils of war] or [for] that which had befallen you [of injury and death]. And Allah is [fully] Acquainted with what you do.
154. Then after distress, He sent down upon you security [in the form of] drowsiness, overcoming a faction of you, while another faction worried about themselves, thinking of Allah other than the truth - the thought of ignorance, saying, "Is there anything for us [to have done] in this matter?" Say, "Indeed, the matter belongs completely to Allah ." They conceal within themselves what they will not reveal to you. They say, "If there was anything we could have done in the matter, some of us would not have been killed right here." Say, "Even if you had been inside your houses, those decreed to be killed would have come out to their death beds." [It was] so that Allah might test what is in your breasts and purify what is in your hearts. And Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts.
155. Indeed, those of you who turned back on the day the two armies met, it was Satan who caused them to slip because of some [blame] they had earned. But Allah has already forgiven them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.
156. O you who have believed, do not be like those who disbelieved and said about their brothers when they traveled through the land or went out to fight, "If they had been with us, they would not have died or have been killed," so Allah makes that [misconception] a regret within their hearts. And it is Allah who gives life and causes death, and Allah is Seeing of what you do.
157. And if you are killed in the cause of Allah or die - then forgiveness from Allah and mercy are better than whatever they accumulate [in this world].
158. And whether you die or are killed, unto Allah you will be gathered.
159. So by mercy from Allah, [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah . Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].
160. If Allah should aid you, no one can overcome you; but if He should forsake you, who is there that can aid you after Him? And upon Allah let the believers rely.
161. It is not [attributable] to any prophet that he would act unfaithfully [in regard to war booty]. And whoever betrays, [taking unlawfully], will come with what he took on the Day of Resurrection. Then will every soul be [fully] compensated for what it earned, and they will not be wronged.
162. So is one who pursues the pleasure of Allah like one who brings upon himself the anger of Allah and whose refuge is Hell? And wretched is the destination.
163. They are [varying] degrees in the sight of Allah, and Allah is Seeing of whatever they do.
164. Certainly did Allah confer [great] favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom, although they had been before in manifest error.
165. Why [is it that] when a [single] disaster struck you [on the day of Uhud], although you had struck [the enemy in the battle of Badr] with one twice as great, you said, "From where is this?" Say, "It is from yourselves." Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.
166. And what struck you on the day the two armies met was by permission of Allah that He might make evident the [true] believers.
167. And that He might make evident those who are hypocrites. For it was said to them, "Come, fight in the way of Allah or [at least] defend." They said, "If we had known [there would be] fighting, we would have followed you." They were nearer to disbelief that day than to faith, saying with their mouths what was not in their hearts. And Allah is most Knowing of what they conceal -
168. Those who said about their brothers while sitting [at home], "If they had obeyed us, they would not have been killed." Say, "Then prevent death from yourselves, if you should be truthful."
169. And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision,
170. Rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them - that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
171. They receive good tidings of favor from Allah and bounty and [of the fact] that Allah does not allow the reward of believers to be lost -
172. Those [believers] who responded to Allah and the Messenger after injury had struck them. For those who did good among them and feared Allah is a great reward -
173. Those to whom hypocrites said, "Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them." But it [merely] increased them in faith, and they said, "Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs."
174. So they returned with favor from Allah and bounty, no harm having touched them. And they pursued the pleasure of Allah, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.
175. That is only Satan who frightens [you] of his supporters. So fear them not, but fear Me, if you are [indeed] believers.
176. And do not be grieved, [O Muhammad], by those who hasten into disbelief. Indeed, they will never harm Allah at all. Allah intends that He should give them no share in the Hereafter, and for them is a great punishment.
177. Indeed, those who purchase disbelief [in exchange] for faith - never will they harm Allah at all, and for them is a painful punishment.
178. And let not those who disbelieve ever think that [because] We extend their time [of enjoyment] it is better for them. We only extend it for them so that they may increase in sin, and for them is a humiliating punishment.
179. Allah would not leave the believers in that [state] you are in [presently] until He separates the evil from the good. Nor would Allah reveal to you the unseen. But [instead], Allah chooses of His messengers whom He wills, so believe in Allah and His messengers. And if you believe and fear Him, then for you is a great reward.
180. And let not those who [greedily] withhold what Allah has given them of His bounty ever think that it is better for them. Rather, it is worse for them. Their necks will be encircled by what they withheld on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, with what you do, is [fully] Acquainted.
181. Allah has certainly heard the statement of those [Jews] who said, "Indeed, Allah is poor, while we are rich." We will record what they said and their killing of the prophets without right and will say, "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.
182. That is for what your hands have put forth and because Allah is not ever unjust to [His] servants."
183. [They are] those who said, "Indeed, Allah has taken our promise not to believe any messenger until he brings us an offering which fire [from heaven] will consume." Say, "There have already come to you messengers before me with clear proofs and [even] that of which you speak. So why did you kill them, if you should be truthful?"
184. Then if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - so were messengers denied before you, who brought clear proofs and written ordinances and the enlightening Scripture.
185. Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.
186. You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allah much abuse. But if you are patient and fear Allah - indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of determination.
187. And [mention, O Muhammad], when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture, [saying], "You must make it clear to the people and not conceal it." But they threw it away behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price. And wretched is that which they purchased.
188. And never think that those who rejoice in what they have perpetrated and like to be praised for what they did not do - never think them [to be] in safety from the punishment, and for them is a painful punishment.
189. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is over all things competent.
190. Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding.
191. Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
192. Our Lord, indeed whoever You admit to the Fire - You have disgraced him, and for the wrongdoers there are no helpers.
193. Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to faith, [saying], 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die with the righteous.
194. Our Lord, and grant us what You promised us through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in [Your] promise."
195. And their Lord responded to them, "Never will I allow to be lost the work of [any] worker among you, whether male or female; you are of one another. So those who emigrated or were evicted from their homes or were harmed in My cause or fought or were killed - I will surely remove from them their misdeeds, and I will surely admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow as reward from Allah, and Allah has with Him the best reward."
196. Be not deceived by the [uninhibited] movement of the disbelievers throughout the land.
197. [It is but] a small enjoyment; then their [final] refuge is Hell, and wretched is the resting place.
198. But those who feared their Lord will have gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein, as accommodation from Allah . And that which is with Allah is best for the righteous.
199. And indeed, among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in Allah and what was revealed to you and what was revealed to them, [being] humbly submissive to Allah . They do not exchange the verses of Allah for a small price. Those will have their reward with their Lord. Indeed, Allah is swift in account.
200. O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allah that you may be successful.

Retrofitting 8ft Fluorescent Tubes to 4ft LED Tubes - Duration: 3:07.Installation Video
We start with the 8 foot 2 bulb strip fixture. The fixtures in the video are very old and
when the retrofit is complete they are like new.
Here we have the 8 foot fluorescent tubes and the ballast cover removed. We recommend
removing and recycling the ballasts.
The 4 new sockets are inserted with 2 each back to back for the center ballast cover
support. Use the sockets with the black wiring. This is for the line voltage. Use the sockets
with the white wiring on each end for the neutral. The brackets are easily attached
using the self tapping screws that are provided with the kit.
Make sure all wiring is inserted above the mounting bracket when it is attached. Here
you can see the 4 sockets installed on the center ballast cover support.
The wiring of the sockets is simple by following the white or black color coding and connecting
to the quick disconnects to follow electrical codes.
Next the old end sockets are removed and replaced with the end ballast cover supports with the
2 sockets with the white neutral wires. This is repeated on the other end. The ballast
cover is attached using the quarter turns that are provided. Repeat installing the second
ballast cover plate.
At this point the fixture is ready to install the LED Tubes. The LED Tubes have a 240 degree
beam angle to provide excellent down light without wasted light on the ceiling. The LED
Tubes do not need a reflector to try to direct the light downward. This provides better lighting
on merchandise or the workspace.
You get better lighting with lower energy and maintenance expenses. Make sure to check
with your utility provider to see what rebates they may offer.
We also offer low cost lease purchase financing to make completing a lighting retrofit even
more affordable. The cost of the lighting may also be deducted as a capital expense
to provide additional savings through decreased taxes. Check with your tax professional for
more information.

Super Bowl MVP Just Went On LIVE TV With Shock Announcement That Pissed Off The NFL. - Duration: 5:08.Super Bowl MVP Just Went On LIVE TV With Shock Announcement That Pissed Off The NFL.
The NFL and every gender bent God-hating liberal must be in arms right now.
Super Bowl 52 was one of the best Super Bowls in history, putting up tons of points, over
1,100 yards of offense, trick plays, and a stunning end to the dynasty of Tom Brady and
the New England Patriots as the Eagles were victorious 41-33.
Then Philadelphia fans poured into the streets, had some party time, a few minor incidents,
and everyone went home in disbelief that Philly finally won a Super Bowl.
The Eagles beat Tom Brady and the Patriots with their backup quarterback, Nick Foles.
Foles was later named MVP of Super Bowl 52 for his stellar performance which included
catching a touchdown pass on a trick play.
It wasn't Foles performance, behavior, antics, or anything else that could have triggered
people.
All of the above was near perfection.
It was like Nick Foles had always been a pro-bowl status quarterback.
Nothing you can think of happened.
It was something else that Nick Foles did after the game that could have sparked controversy
and triggered people into meltdowns.
Nick Foles, Coach Doug Pederson, and tight end Zach Ertz did it too.
All three of them praised glory to God in their postgame interview directly after winning
the Super Bowl.
They were classy, excited, thankful, and respectful.
This was three people who embody everything that the NFL player should be.
They are teammates, leaders, and men who respect each other, do their job, and work as a complete
unit.
That's what pushed this team onto a stellar record of 13-3, two playoff victories, and
finally, a Super Bowl win for the city of Philadelphia.
Can you imagine how the NFL felt after those three mentioned "God" on live TV?
This is after the NFL had a tumultuous year with disrespectful flag protesters marring
the sport and turning fans into boycotters.
You can boycott all you want, but if you did, then you missed the most classy team you could
find right now.
No one on the Philadelphia Eagles took a knee for the National Anthem, and the players and
coach were not afraid to speak up about their religion.
You might hate the NFL and Roger Goodell, but you have to love the Eagles.
Goodell will have this turn into a flag football league filled with social justice warriors
if he doesn't get his act together.
Wild Card had more on the situation after Super Bowl 52:
"Despite winning the most games of any team in the NFC, the Eagles became underdogs the
moment Carson Wentz went down with a gruesome knee injury in Week 14.
Backup quarterback Nick Foles, who has admitted that he almost retired a year ago, was given
no shot at delivering the franchise its first ever Super Bowl.
The Eagles were underdogs in all three of their playoff games, including Sunday's
matchup against the Tom Brady-led Patriots.
In an offensive duel that saw more total yardage (1,151) than any Super Bowl in NFL history,
the Eagles stunned the Patriots 41-33.
While the Eagles had a potent running game, it was the arm of Foles that served as the
engine to the offense.
He completed 29 of 44 passes for 374 yards and three touchdowns, with one fluke interception
that bounced out of his receiver's hands.
Foles even had his first-ever touchdown catch on a trick play on a crucial fourth down.
But when Foles was awarded the MVP live on NBC, he refused to bask in the glory himself.
"All glory to God" were the first words out of his mouth, while he held his 7-month
old baby."
The hateful liberal NFL big boys must have their britches in bunches over Foles' comment
about "all glory to God!"
Can you imagine what they were thinking?
These are the same people who allowed people like Colin Kaepernick to start a silly movement
that disrespected fans, the Flag, and America but wouldn't permit a commercial asking
people to stand for the National Anthem.
The Philadelphia Eagles did more than win the Super Bowl.
They stood up for America during the National Anthem, and they had no fear in expressing
their beliefs after the victory.
If there's a team to get you back into football, then this is it.
The NFL just had a terrible year from all the boycotts -but if there's one thing Americans
love, it's football.
Those who boycott have proved their point.
The NFL heard.
If your team isn't acting like rude jerks, then have fun.
Don't take away your favorite sport because of a few clowns.
The Eagles were full of class, respect, and they showed everyone in America how to win
the big game and be prime examples of a classy team who honors all American values.
You have to love this trick play.
Just amazing and all done by a team who stood for the National Anthem and paid respect to
God.
what do you think about this?

US steamship Tuscania is torpedoed by Germans - 2/5/1918 - Duration: 1:03.Today in military history, 1918, the US steamship
Tuscania, is torpedoed by the Germans,
and plummets to the bottom of the Irish Sea.
During World War I, merchant ships traveling to Britain
across the Atlantic were constantly
under threat by German submarines.
After a series of attacks, the United Kingdom finally set up
a convoy system, where merchant ships
were accompanied by the British Navy.
This proved to be essential when the US entered the war and
many American soldiers were traveling across the Atlantic.
It was on the 5th of February
when the Tuscania would see her last day.
Traveling from New Jersey toward France,
her convoy was spotted off the coast of Ireland
by the German Submarine, U77.
Under the order of Lieutenant Commander, Wilhelm Meyer,
two torpedoes were fired at the Tuscania
and the second scored a direct hit.
The ship was swallowed by the sea within hours.
The convoy managed to rescue 2187 of the 2397 American
troops, as well as the majority of the British crew.
But the loss left the American people shaken.

Genesis Chapter 4: What Did Cain Say to Abel? - Duration: 12:18.Welcome to 929 chapters I'm your host David Z. Moster PhD and Rabbi and today
we'll be studying Genesis chapter 4 this is the story of the first murder in
history and it is also the story of the first generations of mankind
Today's video is going to be broken up into four parts a summary and outline of
the chapter select verses in Hebrew and in English a
comment on the chapter and a photo so let's begin with the summary and outline
of Genesis chapter 4 I broke up this chapter into 6 parts in the first
section the first man - who we have come to know as Adam - and his wife Eve have
two sons the first son קין Cain in English is a farmer and the
second son הבל Abel in English is a shepherd then in the second section
Cain kills his brother Abel the reason for this is that Cain gave an
offering to Yahweh of grains and Abel gave an offering to Yahweh of animals
and Yahweh preferred Abel's offering over Cain's so Cain was jealous and
killed his brother Abel then in the third section what I call revelation
Yahweh calls out to Cain and says Cain where's your brother Abel and Cain
has the famous line he says "am I my brother's keeper?" am I supposed to know?
meaning I have no idea but Yahweh says you do have an idea because I hear
the voice of your brother's blood calling out to me from the ground so I
know you killed your brother then in the next section Yahweh gives a number of
punishments to Cain the first punishment is that he's going to be a
wanderer and he ends up leaving his land and ends up east of eden in the land of
Nod, another punishment is that it will be very difficult for Cain and his
descendants to farm, the ground won't really give him its strength, and then
finally Yahweh gives Cain a sign probably a metaphorical sign that is
telling people not to kill him or his descendants. Moving on to the fifth
section we get the first of many genealogies in the book of Genesis and the
Hebrew Bible as a whole so let's take a look at this genealogy the descendants of
Cain were חנוך Enoch in english and we have a little tidbit that Cain built the
first city in the world and named it after his son Enoch then Enoch
has a son Irad, Irad has a son Mehujael, Mehujael has a son Metushael, Metushael
has Lamech, now Lamech had two wives
the first Adah gave birth to you Jabal and Jubal. Jabal was the father of
all tent dwellers the father of all nomadic shepherds and Jubal the
father and the creator of music and musical instruments. Lamech's second
wife was named Zillah and she gave birth to Tubal-Cain and he was the
father the creator of metallurgy, she also gave birth to a daughter the only
daughter mentioned in the whole genealogy named Naamah so if we work all
our way back to Adam we now know the first eight generations of mankind then
the chapter ends on a high note saying that the first man and his wife Eve give
birth to a son, they just lost Abel so they gave birth to a son named Seth and
then Seth and his wife give birth to a son and at this point in time we're told
people started calling out to God in the name Yahweh this is important because in
the first few chapters there's variation on what to call the deity - the first
chapter called him Elohim, other chapters called him Yahweh Elohim - and so at this
point in time we are told that he is referred to as Yahweh alone. Now let's
move on to the verses the verses that I have chosen to read our verses 8 to 12
the story of the first murder and then how Yahweh finds out about it and then
begins to punish Cain so let's read it inside [Hebrew] and
Cain said to Abel his brother - we don't know really what he said but for
that stay tuned for the comment - [Hebrew] and it was when they
were in the field [Hebrew]
and Cain rose up against Abel his brother [Hebrew] and he killed him
[Hebrew] and Yahweh said to Cain [Hebrew] where is Abel
your brother? [Hebrew] and he said [Hebrew] I do not
know am I my brother's watchman or keeper? [Hebrew] and he said - meaning
Yahweh said - [Hebrew] what have you done? [Hebrew]
the voice of your brother's blood is calling out to me from the ground
[Hebrew] and now [Hebrew] you are cursed from the ground
[Hebrew] which opened its mouth to take
the blood of your brother from your hands [Hebrew] when you
work the ground [Hebrew] it will not continue to give its
strength to you [Hebrew] you are going to be a wanderer and a mover
in the land - and notice that Hebrew nod is like the land of Nod where Cain ends up okay
let's move on to the comment and the comment today is about verse 8 let's
read verse 8 one more time and just focus on what's missing [Hebrew]
and Cain said to Abel his brother [Hebrew]
and it was when they were in the field
Cain rose up against his brother Abel and he killed him. But wait, what did Cain
say to his brother? something is missing. now in order to figure this out what
you're gonna need is a Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia that just means that it [is a Hebrew Bible] that
was printed in Stuttgart Germany so this book even though you can't get it for
free online I'll have a link to it on Amazon what this book does is it not
only gives you the text of the entire Hebrew Bible but down at the bottom it
gives you something called a critical apparatus and what that means is it
tells you what manuscripts have different versions of the Hebrew Bible
because you know every time a manuscript was copied of course there are going to be
some mistakes a copyist would either accidentally add something or
intentionally add something or accidentally omit something or
intentionally omit something so there were always going to be changes so I
actually have the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia on my computer and we can
take a look so if you look at the word אחיו here you'll notice that there's a
little "a" what that tells you is to go down to the footnote, the footnotes in
the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia are actually in Latin but there's a helpful
key and I have a link to it on my website for you to download in case you
don't read Latin so what it tells us is that multiple manuscripts and editions
here have an interval what that means is that many texts just have a blank space
at this point why do they have this blank space perhaps it's to insert what
we have in the Samaritan Pentateuch - that little squiggly sign is
for the Samaritan, the Greek Pentateuch which is also known as the Septuagint,
the Syriac version and also the Latin Vulgate version written by Jerome, in
these manuscripts what we see are these extra words
[Hebrew] let us go on to the field let us go out to the field and it
also tells us to see a targum called pseudo-Jonathan which we'll see in a bit
and we can actually see this in the text themselves here we have the Samaritan
Pentateuch and it says [Hebrew] and Cain said to his
brother Abel [Hebrew] let us go to the field now if you want to actually
see this in the Samaritan Pentateuch the original manuscripts itself you can
take a look at my website www.929chapters.com where I have a link to the
Samaritan Pentateuch the oldest version and you'll see it in the original paleo-
Hebrew script in the Samaritan style we can also see it in the old Greek the
Septuagint where we have the words [Greek] let us go
out through the field and then in some English translations such as the New
Revised Standard Version an updated version of the King James Bible what we
have here is the translation Cain said to his brother Abel let us go out to the
field now remember when the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia told us
to look at Targum Pseudo-Jonathan and here i'm showing it to you in the
critical apparatus the Targum Pseudo-Jonathan was written anywhere between
the fourth to eighth centuries of the Common Era
it is a targum so that means this is a translation of the Bible into Aramaic
the word targum means a translation so you're what we're looking at is the text
of the Hebrew Bible on the left-hand side of your screen and then over here
in the Aramaic of Targum pseudo-Jonathan what we have here are the words [Aramaic]
let the two of us go
out into the field and you can see it here in an English translation let the two
of us go out to the field now this is really interesting because the Targum
Pseudo-Jonathan was a Jewish translation of the Bible and it comes
from rabbinic circles really the Jewish texts of the Hebrew Bible don't have
those two words however the non-jewish texts or texts adopted by non-jews do
have those words so this is really interesting that targum Pseudo-Jonathan
has this and it raises questions where and how did
Targum Pseudo-Jonathan the author or the authors who wrote it come to figure out
that the words are [Hebrew] let us go to the field now on a side
note what I want you to notice here is look how long the verses in the Bible
Genesis 4:8 and now look how long Targum Pseudo-Jonathan is on this one verse this is
the Aramaic and now I'm going to show you how long it is in English now targum
Pseudo-Jonathan was a Midrashic Targum that meant that he liked to insert
text into the translation of the Bible to explain some textual problems so in
our case the problem is what Cain say to Abel?
According to Targum Pseudo-Jonathan Cain had a lot to say to Abel! they actually had
a whole conversation about whether God exists or not and whether God is
righteous or not and if you're interested in actually seeing what the
Targum Pseudo-Jonathan has, take a look at my website www.929chapters.com on this
chapter or I have the entire text of the Targum Pseudo-Jonathan. Now what
should we make of all this? I think there are two approaches here to understanding
what's going on in these manuscripts of the biblical text the first approach is
that the words "let us go to the field" were intentionally added by manuscripts
such as the Septuagint and the Samaritan Pentateuch in order to solve a textual
problem however the problem with this approach is that why would the
original author of Genesis have said "and Cain said to his brother" and then not
mentioned anything? it really just doesn't make any sense.
so the second alternative answer is that this was accidentally omitted in some
text, mainly the text that would eventually become the Masoretic and
rabbinic Hebrew Bible and this is the approach I think makes most sense and so
really if we were to find a original Genesis if such a thing would ever be
found I think it probably would include the words
"let us go to the field." okay so that's it for the comment today let's move on to
part 4 the photo the public domain photo I found today and linked to our chapter
concerns verse 17 Cain founded a city and named the city after his son Enoch
and what we see here is some nice urban sprawl of a city okay that does it for
today I would like to point out that if you're interested on my website
www.929chapters com I have a nice discussion of who really
built the first city according to the text that we have
Cain built the first city and named it Enoch but some 19th century scholars suggested
that actually Enoch built the first city and named it after a son
Irad and the reason for that is that in Mesopotamia the first city was called
Erode which sounds very similar to Irad and also no one's ever heard of a
city called Enoch it doesn't exist in the Bible it doesn't exist in the ancient
Near Eastern text or archeology so perhaps maybe Enoch built
the first city and named it Irad - Eridu
also I would like to point out an unsponsored plug for an excellent book How to
Read the Bible by James Kugel now 10 years old and in this book in the
chapter on Cain and Abel what he does is he gives a excellent overview of some
scholarship about the story of Cain and Abel and basically it's not about
Cain murdering his brother Abel that's not really the main point of the story
the main point of the story is to teach you that there's a tribe in the East
called the Kenites and the Kenites are very very vengeful they'll come
after you if you kill one of them so if you want this book I'll have a link to
it in the description below but you can also get it from any library that does
it for today be sure to check out my website www.929chapters.com for some of
the links regarding the Samaritan Pentateuch and the Septuagint also be

Destiny 2 Lore Jarus, Shadow of Calus - Duration: 10:45.Jarus raised a pistol, another of Calus's gifts, and emptied its clip.
Shayotet heaved and jerked as black pressure gel spouted from his armor, but he did not
fall.
He roared—blood and saliva spattered the ground—and charged.
Jarus holstered the pistols.
He waited until Shayotet was nearly on top of him before activating the energy blade.
A gargling roar, a spray of pressure gel, and it was over.
Welcome back guardians.
Today we are continuing with the Shadow of Calus series, for those who are new to the
series, every episode will be in the Shadow of Calus playlist on my youtube home page.
In general, the shadows of Calus are different species that Calus recruited once he was exiled
upon the Leviathan.
The Shadows of Calus formed an assassination squad to take out Ghaul and anyone else who
assisted Ghaul in his military uprising.
The stories of the Shadows are told in each raid armor set and today we are looking at
the Hunter raid gear from the normal leviathan raid, which features the story of Jarus of
the Sindu, or as Calus refers to him Ace-Defiant.
As usual, the artwork provided at the beginning of this video was completed by Gammatrap and
paid for with your generous donations on Patreon.
A link is below if you are interested.
This is myelin games and I hope you enjoy this latest Destiny 2 lore episode.
[INTRO] Like all Shadows of Calus, we have never see
them in game and so cannot be certain about their appearance.
The only thing we can do is make an educated guess based upon the lore tabs.
Jarus is described as a fighter pilot and is referenced to have limbs.
I know that almost seems silly to make comment on but not all of the shadows have limbs,
for example, the Fulminator was sentient Arc energy.
For this reason, I imagine Jarus as a humanoid, but potentially smaller than his Shadow counter-parts,
considering his story is detailed on the Hunter armor, this encourages me to think of a quick
and agile character.
In addition, during his story, his uses a pistol and an energy blade, once again items
that are better suited to being small and agile.
Whilst we cannot be certain of Jarus's appearance, we do know that Jarus is from the species
known as the Sindu.
This species are known for the expert skills in operating space craft, and Jarus was one
of the most skilled, forming a specialized group known as the Ace-defiant.
This is reinforced by the Grips of the Ace-Defiant which reads,
"The Sindu fly like surgeons operate.
And the Ace-Defiants are the best among them.
Only one Shadowed me."
—Emperor Calus The Sindu tried to take on Calus and the Leviathan,
however the battalion was completely destroyed leaving only Jarus remaining.
This is reinforced by the Helm of the Ace-Defiant which reads,
Jarus blinked slowly.
What about the other pilots?
His battalion?
Did they escape?
"You, the last star-pilot of the Sindû, will be my Ace-Defiant."
It was not a choice.
Before moving on to cover the general story of Jarus, I wanted to quickly address the
similarities between Jarus and the Psions.
There are a couple of items that make the Sinud sound similar to the Psions.
Firstly, Vest of the Ace-defiant reads, "The Ace-Defiant burned his mind to fly
my golden ship.
At first it sounds like Jarus uses his mind to control the space ship, however in later
items Jarus is described as using his fingers.
At first I thought the mind control of the ship may indicate that Jarus is of Psion origin,
however now I think the saying was just metaphoric.
In addition, the Boots of the Ace-Defiant makes reference to Interceptors, which we
know to be the Psion tanks, it reads, "We armed the Sindu with a fleet of golden
ships.
Their interceptors are a shield for the Leviathan, as the Shadows are my sword."
—Emperor Calus To be honest, I just think that it is a coincidence
that the ships are also called interceptors and in general I do think that the Sindu are
a different species to the Psions.
Now, lets work through the general story of Jarus.
Starting with the Helm of the Ace-defiant.
This raid item describes how the Sindu initially refused the offer to join Calus, sending a
battlion of star-pilots to deal with the threat.
Of course, the entire battalion was destroyed with the exception of Jarus.
Calus then offered him a place amongst the Shadows.
The story continues with the Grips of the Ace Defiant.
In this lore tab, Calus gifts Jarus with his best ship, called God's Will.
Jarus is also gifted with some armor.
This process has been seen a number of times in the stories of the Shadow of Calus, with
Calus showing ultra violence and brutality in destroying a species, but then welcoming
them into his empire with extravagate gifts.
The item reads, The hangar door opened slowly, and behind
it a row of purple banners dropped, one after another.
As each banner snapped into place, a Psion fell to hands and knees, head bowed low.
Jarus's shoulder disappeared in the emperor's hand.
"Come, let us open your gift."
The two walked past the kneeling warriors.
"I have named it for you," Calus crooned.
"I call it God's Will."
Jarus's chest fluttered.
The ship was beautiful.
A drum sounded.
A Cabal emerged, delicately carrying armor, holding it as if it would break.
Piece by piece it was placed on the floor in front of Jarus.
The weight on his shoulder lifted.
"This is yours.
When you take it, you are mine."
Calus left.
His procession followed.
Only God's Will and Jarus remained.
The story continues with a Vest of the Ace-Defiant.
Like the other Shadow of Calus stories, many detail their assasinations of Cabal who assisted
Ghaul.
The Vest details Jarus's assassination of Shayotet.
Jarus shoots down Shayotet's ship and then finishes him off with a pistol and an energy
blade.
This assignation is relatively significant because Shayotet actually finishes in the
collectors edition book.
In the book, Calus lists all the people who betrayed him, and Shayotet is one of them.
From this, we can actually get more information about Shayotet.
Shayotet was initially Calus's personally bodyguard.
His full name is Lictor Shayotet, the emperor's protector.
Shayotet assisted in many victories with Calus and worked very closely with him, so much
so that Calus says, "Whatever good I did, he owns a piece of
it, for I did it all under his protection."
Calus even calls him a friend however describes how Shayotet betrayed him and even helped
lead the military uprising.
The book reads, "On the Dark day, Shayotet led the soldiers
into my house.
Shayotet let the soldiers plunder my collections, feast on my larders, and shoot down those
who tried to save me.
Shayotet said he was doing this in the name of the man I'd once been, but I knew he
was jealous of the emperor I'd become."
So, the fact that Jarus personally assassinated Shayotet is very significant and likely why
when Shayotet is killed, Calus says, "My heart swells with pride.
This drink is in your honor."
The story continues with the Boots of the Ace defiant.
From a lore point of view this item really only emphasizes the relationship between Calus
and Jarus, they are essentially having some banter whilst drinking the world's drink.
This theme is common for the Shadows of Calus, they all start as lone survivors as Calus
destroys their army or threatens their species, however they also end up being very loyal
to Calus by the end of their stories and are willing to die for Calus.
Which leads us to the last item.
Shadow's Cloak.
This item describes the Shadows of Calus all on the same ship as they intend to enact their
final mission, assisinate Ghaul.
The Fulmiator lore actually provides additional information on their encounter with Ghaul,
see my Fulminator video for that, however this is what the item says about Jarus.
Jarus left God's Will behind for his final mission.
He needed a ship big enough to carry his fellow Shadows to Ghaul, and with enough internal
shielding and anti-impact padding to ensure the plan they had developed would succeed.
Under Jarus's control, the ship dodged, weaved, and carved a path through the Red Legion.
His fingers flipped switches, rapidly changing the displays on the monitors surrounding the
cockpit.
In the hold, the Shadows waited.
Jarus aligned the ship's trajectory toward the Dominus' ship.
The plan was simple.
"My dear Jarus," the emperor had said.
"We must deliver the Shadows to the Dominus at any cost."
Jarus knew what this meant.
For him, the trip was one-way.
But that was all right, so long as Ghaul's was, too.
And that ends the story of Jarus, he pilots the ship carrying the Shadows of Calus right
up to Ghauls door, a one-way trip.
If you would like to support the channel and cannot think of a comment, you can leave the
work, Ace-defiant, to symbolize Calus's star-fighter pilot, Jarus.
As usual, it has been a pleasure.
This is myelin games.
Peace.
