Once upon a time, there lived a rich mouse couple in a storehouse.
They had no child, so they asked God to grant them a child.
Soon, the mother mouse bore a baby girl mouse.
The baby girl mouse grew up to become a very beautiful mouse.
No mouse in the country of mice, could be compared with her beauty.
The mouse couple thought that there was no mouse who was right for their daughter.
They said, "She is the best daughter in Japan."
"Yes, so she needs to marry the one who is the best in everything."
The greatest in the world seemed to be the Sun,
that shined brightly down on the world from high up above the sky.
The father and mother mouse took their daughter up to the sky,
and asked the Sun,
" Mr. Sun. You are the greatest in the world.
Will you take our daughter as your bride?"
They bowed politely to the Sun.
Then, the Sun smiled and replied,
"I'm honored you asked me, but there is a greater thing than I in the world."
The father mouse was very surprised and asked,
"Oh? There is one who is greater than you? Who would that be?"
"It is the Cloud.
No matter how strongly I shine from the sky, the Cloud can cover me up and interrupt me.
It is no use resisting," said the Sun.
" I see..."
Then the father mouse went to the Cloud and asked,
"Mr. Cloud. You are the greatest in the world.
Will you take our daughter as your bride?"
The Cloud replied,
"I'm honor you asked me, but there is a greater thing than I in the world."
The father mouse was surprised again and asked.
"Oh? There is one who is greater than you? Who would that be?"
"It is the Wind.
The Wind can blow me away. It is no use resisting," said the Cloud.
" I see..."
So the father mouse went to the Wind and asked,
"Mr. Wind. You are the greatest in the world. Will you take our daughter as your bride?"
"I'm honored you asked me, but there is a greater thing than I in the world."
The father mouse was surprised again.
"Oh? There is one who is greater than you? Who would that be?"
"It is the Wall.
The Wall never moves no matter how strong my wind is.
It is no use blowing the Wall down," said the Wind.
" I see..."
Then the father mouse went to the Wall and asked,
"Mr. Wall. You are the greatest in the world. Will you take our daughter as your bride?"
"It is an honor you asked me, but there is a greater thing than I in the world."
The father mouse was surprised again.
"Oh? There is one who is greater than you? Who would that be?"
"There is no doubt that you mice are greater than I.
No matter how solid I am,
mice will make a hole and go through me with an unconcerned air.
It is no use resisting mice."

The father mouse was very moved and clapped his hands.
