Watercolor and Salt Beginner Painting Hack - Duration: 4:31.

Obstacle, anything that obstructs or hinders one's progress

Since coming back from our mountain excursion - I've been really thinking about this idea

of obstacles.

A mountain is a pretty big obstacle.

And somehow humans carved a road into this sheer rock face.

This got me thinking - what if instead of seeing obstacles as road blocks - we saw them

as stepping stones toward success.

Think with me for a moment…

If you are encountering obstacles this usually means you are doing something right.

Obstacles rarely occur when we are stagnant.

Encountering obstacles - means you are moving, learning, and molding yourself toward your

finally goal.

So let's apply this toward watercolor.

This particular week - I was having a really difficult time blending two particular colors.

I'm not really sure why - it could have been my paints, the paper, the humidity in

the air, or me just having a really bad day - but for some reason these colors weren't creating

the blossoming effects that I so desired.

Without panicking, I then put kind-of my brain into problem solving mode - and came up with this hack.

I first mixed a water to salt solution - as seen here.

And then laid that solution on my paper as a thin glaze.

Next I added my paint - which then produced this effect.

First, see obstacles as stepping stones toward success and

Next, by adding bit of salt to your water - your paints can surf across the page on

those dry humid days.

James Gunn FIRED By Marvel! It Will Effect Avengers 4 & Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 3 - Duration: 4:54.

so in the past few days just before Comic Con some major news broke out in

marvel world which could actually affect a phase four going forward as we know

phase four starts after Avengers four so Jane gun was fired from Disney and

essentially Disney tied their severs with him essentially they don't want

anything to do with him currently from tweets dating back to 2012 he was making

Gardens a galaxy 3 which would have been included with phase 4 so what is good

YouTube Warstu here if you need to channel make sure scribe to never miss

any new Marvel based content so Marvel Fire James Gunn for sending some really

edgy creepy perverted tweets years ago up to six years ago as you know Disney

is a friendly family company obviously well Disney is aimed at kids it's a

theme park their movies that generally aimed at kids so you can understand why

they wanted to get rid of him as soon as possible and it makes business sense for

them but seriously it will affect phase four in a massive way he did apologize

on Twitter send in a five tweet apology out and apparently he's to lead up to

10,000 tweets recently my only question is why did Marvel vet him properly do a

background check because generally when you get employed by someone now they do

check your social medias out to see if you're the kind of person that they want

working for you generally they do a background check on line as well

nowadays so do you think he desires to be fired for the offensive tweets I

think it's fair enough what do you think so the current state

of guards at galaxy vol 3 is that James Kernan has already submitted the first

draft to Marvel therefore the question is what happens to this current script

does Disney decide to cut ties with gunner

meaning they can't use his script at all it's very interesting because if you

don't know about the movie world obviously a script doesn't generally get

the okay the first time they usually ask for minor adjustments

is kind of strange because if someone else comes in it's possible they could

start the film from scratch in order to make sure there's no trace of gun

associated with the movie but it was expected to drop in 2020 around May so

if they did bring a new screenwriting it would literally give them one year in

order to write the whole new script whole new movie from scratch but I can't

really see them doing that and it's highly unlikely that if that was the

case Marvel would be happy with this new screenwriters attempt and the movie will

be delayed now this essentially will affect Avengers 4 in a way slightly

because obviously you have the gardens and galaxies in their characters so it

depends how their storyline was already written after Avengers 4 of what

happened to them essentially during the last reshoot for Avengers 4 they could

actually essentially change some of the parts for the guardians in it and if

Marvel really wanted to I don't think they're gonna do this they could just

scrap the whole garden the galaxy franchise because it was going to be a

new iteration of the team James Gunn said after this one anyway now I don't

think it's gonna be drastic as that but it was rumored that James Gunn was going

to be at the realm in phase 4 of Marvel what kind of because it was going cosmic

and he was going to be heavily involved with everything going forward now it may

seem crazy like I said I don't think they're gonna scrap the whole of gardens

galaxy franchise over this but it is an interesting topic point I didn't really

want to talk about someone else but I kind of have to bring it in with a whole

topic point for the video and I did get a bunch of comments on my Twitter on my

Instagram asking me to talk about it realistically I don't think it's gonna

fit God the galaxy maybe it might be delayed a minute a bit maybe they have

to change a few things in Avengers for how they end maybe bad you know guys let

faster to make because it's just me giving my opinions back saying let me

know let me know do you think they were right to fire him and also do you think

it's gonna affect the Avengers for ending it might they might have to

What If The Dilophosaurus Didn't Go Extinct? - Duration: 3:49.

Everyone has a favourite dinosaur, Including me!

You know that dinosaur from the first Jurassic park that looks super cute, but then whips

out its huge frill and then projectile-spits acid saliva at nedry?

Yeah, that's dilophosaurus, and its my favourite.

Don't ask me why, maybe I secretly wish I could spit acid at people.

Dilophosaurus went extinct around 190 million years ago.

But what if, somehow, dilophosaurus didn't go extinct and lived on all the way until

modern day?

That's what we're going to talk about, right now on life's biggest questions.

Firstly, I should start this topic by saying that there is no conclusive evidence that

any dinosaur had poisonous saliva, and there wasn't any evidence at the time the movie

was produced either.

Which is super upsetting, I know, but for the sake of this video, we are going to assume

that dilophosaurus did have acid saliva because, its my video and I can do whatever the hell

I want.

Kay?

Plus, Its not like we can ask one, do you have acid spit, in case you forgot, dilophosaurus

is extinct, and has been extinct since 190 million years ago.

And there is some speculation that it may have used venom to kill its victims because

its fangs resembled that of a rattlesnake.

Alright so, where was I, Dilophosaurus, despite its small size in the film Jurassic park,

was actually one of the largest carnivores of the early Jurassic period.

It was believed to be about 7 meters in length, weighing 880 pounds.

It probably didn't have a gigantic frill in real life, but it did have two thin crests

of bones on the top of its head that it used for mating displays.

That's actually how dilophosaurus got its name, its genus means two crested lizard.

It also had a long tail that it could have used as a whip in a fight.

Dilophosaurus could travel around extremely quickly, it was light on its feet and used

scent as a part of its hunting technique.

That being said, most experts agree that dilophosaurus couldn't jump very high.

Its believed that they hunted in small packs.

Perhaps one of the most interesting facts about dilophosaurus is that it may have had

a warm blooded metabolism, like mammals and of course, humans.

So, first of all, Because dilophosaurus had a warm blooded metabolism, its habitat wouldn't

be restricted to tropical areas.

Which would mean absolute ecological chaos.

Think about how many animals would be eaten by dilophosaurus.

They would essentially eat anything they could find, even huge animals like bears.

Maybe this would mean that the world would be incredibly populated with dilophosauruses,

and the only way other animals could survive on earth is if they lived in trees.

As I stated previously, most experts agree that dilophosaurus could not jump very high.

Perhaps early human civilizations would have resembled that of the Korowai aboriginals

on the island of papa new guinea.

The korowai people live in elaborate treehouse communities.

For the majority of history, humans would have been tree dwellers, perhaps we would

have maintained our ability to climb trees like our ape relatives, all to get away from

the hungry dilophosauri on the ground.

Of course, if dilophosaurus did overpopulate the earth and humans had to live amongst them,

they would probably become an integral part of our diet.

Fast forward to modern day, and humans would find ways to live on the ground.

Buildings would be made of tough materials, or maybe humans would live underground or

in suspended cities.

If humans ever entered their habitat, they would need to remain in vehicles that protected

the people inside from both the acid spit, as well as dilophosaurus' sharp teeth.

As we learned in Jurassic park, getting out of these vehicles in the presence of dilophosaurus

would be a terrible idea, and would almost certainly end in death.

Thankfully, dilophosaurus hasn't been around for many millions of years.

It would probably be pretty difficult for humans to coexist with them.

A man named Tim Berners-Lee, an English engineer and computer scientist who was just trying

to find a way for scientists around the world to share data.

And he did just that in 1989 but it wasn't until August 6, 1991 when the first site was

actually launched.

Well it was primarily used by scientific departments and physics labs as originally intended.

One of the earliest webcomics, Dr. Fun was actually launched in 1993. Ahh humor!

The internet has also been used in advertising more and more recently.

There's a movie coming out soon that I can't wait for. Has one of my favorite b-ball players. It's called Space Jam, and let's look at the website.

Apparently it was made by five people because the studio wouldn't give them very much

money for it, which is understandable because not a lot of people currently use the internet. But it is a pretty money site.

Maybe someday everyone will use the internet and have tiny computers they keep in their

pockets that are all connected to the world wide web.

You can check out how he met the band on his home planet and all the exciting things he

has planned for the future. I bet he's gonna be more than just a one hit wonder. Ahh so good at predicting the future.

You've heard of webcams right?

They're basically cameras that connect to the internet.

It's wild. And I know, video on the internet seems crazy, but it's possible!

The first webcam ever was installed at Cambridge University.

Probably for some super smart intellectual cause...but it wasn't.

It was used to watch a coffee pot so the folks

at the Cambridge computer lab wouldn't go all the way to break room to find there was

no coffee. Where's the coffee Cthulhu? The old gods, they love coffee.

Anyways, the longest running webcam is Fogcam.org, was started in 1994 by two students at SF state university. That's

San Francisco University to give outsiders and feel for student life on campus.

It changed locations a few times over the years now but it's still going pretty strong. Good job fog friends.

And one of the websites he recommended is curiositybox.com

Now the curiosity box is a quarterly subscription service that Michael, Kevin and myself have

made and we curate and design all of the products in the box. It's filled with science toys,

fun physics puzzles, there's logic puzzles, t-shirts, books and much more.

And a portion of the proceeds goes to Alzheimer's research.

We've actually been able to raise over $100,000 so far so check it out.

You wanna know something else that's cool? There's a thing called a hyperlink that you can click on

and we have hyperlinks all in the description down there for all the stuff we talked about.

Or there's something called a playlist and it's not like a cassette tape playlist that you make

for your honey doodle. It's a thing full of videos. You can check here too.

And last but not least, did you know on the internet there's something you can do called

mail. You can send electronic mail to people all over the world.

You don't have to pay for postage stamps! It's free! Isn't that wild?

Ahh. The internet is really neat and I hope it stays around for a while

because I would like to play online video games. I have an idea for one.

It's like counter terrorists vs terrorists. I wanna call it maybe Opposing Strike or Counter force

'Fortnite' Has Reportedly Received Over $1 Billion From In-Game Purchases - Duration: 1:04.

Fortnite is making a lot of money.

A new report from the research firm SuperData indicates that Fortnite has made over $1 billion

solely from in-game purchases.

It's an especially impressive feat considering the game was just released in 2017.

This news comes after Sensor Tower reported that the game made $100 million off of in-app

purchases in its iOS format.

Fortnite continues to draw in players and viewers and seems to only be gaining steam.

To give you an idea of Fortnite's success, check out this graph, which shows Fortnite's

reign over their competitors.

While it appears Fortnite is still riding a successful wave, Epic Games is already thinking

a couple steps ahead to hopefully keep their players coming back for more.

IGN reports that the newly introduced golf carts could eventually be met with users being

given the opportunity to outfit them with vehicle skins.

Epic Games will need to continue getting creative to keep this money-making machine going, but

the company appears to be ready and able to take on the ever-evolving challenge
