we came further

we're also from everywhere I'm a little mixed up

confused delighted that I'm with you well let's sort it out a bit not all of

it that's for life to do but some of it we can do here yep

the confusion is in my culture I am told to give up I'm told to not go after

something well we're telling you the same thing

in this sense we're explaining to you that when life causes you to desire

something if you will allow yourself you will find at the essence of everything

that you desire everything that you or anyone ever will want or ever has wanted

everything that you want is for one reason only you think you will feel

better in the having of it and so that's really what the essence of all desire is

is to come into alignment with that broader perspective and if you listen to

us closely you will realize that you see what goes wrong with so many people is

that they feel the absence of something some material object in other words if

you don't have enough water you want some water is that wrong no anything

that you feel the absence of it's natural that you would want the presence

of it the presence of many things is very enhancing to your experience but

what happens with so many people is that they focus upon the material part of it

and they forget about the alignment spiritual part of it and then they are

never satisfied and so your culture we know for sure is wanting to lead you

toward satisfaction and there are so many people that feel dissatisfaction

because they think they want things that have not come about yet one of the

primary things especially in the early days of our beginning to visit with you

all through this format is that people wanted to know about

materialism versus spiritualism and we explained that everything is spirit and

that spirit has intentionally come into this environment into this leading-edge

environment intending to materialize it's the natural process of spirit to

continue to evolve and become more but humans get out of whack on that because

they get so enamored with what they can see and hear and smell and taste and

touch that then they lose their connection and we believe that that is

what those deep within the understanding of where you came from we're trying to

explain but like everything as time goes on and it gets further from those who

received the inspiration to begin with it turns into things that serve the

purposes of those who are now disseminating the message and so that's

why we're encouraging all of you to go directly to your own source we don't

want you to take it from us or from anyone we want you to find your

connection and follow your true personal guidance see so which is the same thing

that life after life I'm born to liberate born to continue to be just

focus upon just this one aspect or concept of eternal life is what we think

would serve you well to focus upon you are forever you are eternal and for

anything to be eternal then it must continue to expand and the confusion in

your mind is you think that we're trying to talk you into material expansion

which is a natural byproduct of alignment because this is the leading

edge it's natural that the leading edge would lead into more that is here you

see but so many people give up their connection and give up their joy for the

sake of the material things you're supposed to have it all you're supposed

to tune in you are creators do you think that you would come as a creator and be

told you are a creator but do not create you are a creator don't let it be

anything that anybody else can see that's completely illogical it was never

what was intended it is a misunderstanding

God that yeah I got that yeah you did it's not just about moods right it's not

just about I'm feeling good and I just do whatever I feel like that's not what

it is it's about coming into alignment with who you really are and the good

news is and it's such good news because you are such a long going on going being

when you re emergent a non-physical and you will you will leave behind all

doubt and fear and all pushing against and the pure essence of who you are

Ria's and so this source energy you must know is pure positive energy it is love

and worthiness and appreciation it is all things that you consider to be good

that's what it is and it is from that vantage point that you react in to the

physical again and each experience here everyone's experience here causes them

to become more and the only discontent that exists anywhere in the universe is

the discontent that man finds here on this leading-edge experience when life

causes him to become more than he allows himself to be because in the moment of

his death experience he allows it there yeah

Overmanaging vs Micromanaging Boss - Which Are You? - Duration: 5:49.

Hi, today I am at the National WBENC conference

where business owners from

all over the country are converging

upon the city of Detroit

to really,

really focus on the role

of women in business

and diversity within

the corporate pipeline

and other things like that.

And one of the cool experiences

that I've had since I've been here,

day one basically at this conference,

is I got to go to

a great talk

by Disney

and the talk was the Disney Experience:

Leading With Values,

and I want to share

with you what their very first

slide of this presentation said

because it really

ties into something that I think is super important

and that is, "Disney's consistent

business results are driven

by strategically focusing

on certain business functions

and opportunities which companies

often fail to see the

value and potential of

and that is a key source

of what differentiates us.

We have learned to be intentional

where others may be

unintentional." Now,

one of the

things they went on

to talk about in this idea

of being intentional versus unintentional,

there's a lot of things,

but one of the things was

how Walt Disney exemplified

in his leadership this

idea that maybe he was an overmanager

and she was differentiating this

as being an overmanager

versus

a micromanager.

Now, I don't know what the exact

definitions of overmanaging versus

micromanaging are,

but what I could tell you is what I

see it as,

and based in this concept of intentionality.

So, micromanaging is

when you literally are

over somebody's back,

telling them what to do,

not letting them think for themselves,

not giving them the freedom

to work on a problem

and solve it of their own volition,

and using their own brain,

and not to be able to have the freedom

to do the work in the way

that best suits them as long as it

gets done.

That is my sort of version

of micromanaging.

The difference with overmanaging

is really,

though, taking

and saying what is the experience

or what is the situation

that we're trying to be

excellent in?

And how can we look at

all the details of that

and improve upon them?

So,

what was the experience that he

was doing? It was the boat. What's that called?

So,

in this example they were

talking about when Walt Disney went

on the Jungle Cruise which is at actually

Disney Land,

and the guy who was in charge

of that, when Walt Disney

got off the boat he was not happy,

and he said,

"This was supposed to be a seven minute ride.

It was only four and a half minutes,

and this experience was really

horrible because I wasn't able

to enjoy

or understand what was really happening in this

experience because it was just so fast."

And there's more to it than that,

but that's the gist,

right? And so,

his leader who was responsible for that

ride said, "Let's go

and you show me all the things that you'd

like to see in this." And so Walt Disney

went on that ride with him.

They spent an hour at least,

and he told him every single

detail of how he wanted

that to be.

And in the course of doing that what

ended up happening was

he took back that information

and created that seven minute experience

based on Walt Disney's expectations

and his overmanaging

the situation.

Now,

the key to this,

though, is once Walt Disney told

his leader what he wanted,

he stepped away

and let him create it,

let him do it.

He had three weeks to

figure it all out, and when Walt Disney

got back on that ride,

took the ride around again,

he was happy

because everything that he wanted was implemented.

The micromanaging would have been if he

would have been standing there every step of the way

and said, "No, no, do it this way.

Wait, what have you dont this,

have you done this, have you done this." That's the

micromanaging. The overmanaging was really saying,

"Here's what my

every single iota of expectation

is, and this is exactly what my

vision is.

Now, I'm going to trust you to go make

it happen." And so,

you know, that I think is one of the key

differentiators that Disney

brings to the table,

is that,

that's how they create excellence

in their product.

That is why they are a market leader.

That is why everybody knows

to expect,

when you go to Disney,

to have a great experience,

but because

they have this culture

of overmanaging

but not micromanaging.

So,

I really loved this.

It really resonated

with me. And I think it resonates

with people especially if you feel like

you've been micromanaged in the past,

but there is that balance,

right? So,
