Waching daily Jul 24 2018

Thanks to an onslaught of magazines and movies that paint women in a certain light, there

are a lot of women who hide even their most human behaviors not only from men, but from

each other, too.

But in reality, those seemingly embarrassing habits are completely common.

Here are some things that women all do on the sly, but might not want to admit in public.

Frequent flatulence

Let's start with the obvious.

Women do fart, even though our grandmothers swore that wasn't the case.

'Cause, newsflash, we're human beings too.

In fact, women fart, on average, 10 to 20 times per day which is just as much as men.

And, yes, passing gas is a sign of healthy gut function that can't be avoided, so whether

it's deemed polite to poot or not, it happens all the time.

And no one is exempt from taking number twos, either, even though a lot of ladies tend to

try and shield their bowel movements from even each other in public restrooms.

"Girl I feel like I just gave birth.

Somebody smack its ass."

Cyber-stalking

Relax, we're not talking about illegal activities here, but women do tend to do a little extra

research on their significant others and friends.

It's completely normal to be curious about who dates who, who works where, what your

neighbor had for breakfast, or what the girl in your bio class wore for Halloween last

year.

And with the onslaught of information and photos available at the touch of a button

these days, it's totally tempting dig deep on that digital profile for a person of interest.

"Here's my question.

Who are the ladies?"

"Obvi, we're the ladies."

On the bright side, it can be helpful to fact check a new friend's story by prowling through

their pages for a spell so a gal can really get to know who she's spending time with now.

On the other hand, this instant access to a person's private details can veer off into

creepy territory when the tinge of nostalgia leads a woman to her ex's Instagram feed to

check out his new significant other and where all his new haunts are.

The trick is to draw a line in the virtual sand before bringing out that cyber-shovel

so you don't find yourself buried in unwanted information… or trouble.

Tress mess

For a lot of men, hair maintenance takes about two minutes with a quick shampoo in the shower,

toweling off and then working in a glob of gel.

Presto!

For most women, however, the process of maintaining a mane can be quite labor-intensive...which

is why many of us don't bother doing it every day.

There's a reason top-knots are so popular these days they're total time-savers.

Many experts in cosmetology would agree that skipping a hair-wash every so often is for

the best anyway, because daily shampooing can dry out a woman's scalp.

So nixing the lather, rinse, repeat routine every other day is just good practice.

"Yayyyy"

Laundry laziness

There've always been hefty distinctions between the articles of clothing men and women have

to wear.

But perhaps the most significant difference today is in the realm of undergarments.

Men might have a simple choice between boxers or briefs, but women have an array of options

to choose from in their private gear, particularly when it comes to bras.

That's why there are entire department stores devoted to bras and panties these days.

Worse still, while men's drawers can be thrown in the ordinary laundry load, women's undies

have to be washed separately, often by hand, to protect their delicate qualities and our

pocketbooks from having to invest in more of the often-expensive items.

Washing them too often can stretch them out, fade the colors, and even break the elastic

or expose the underwires, so it's pretty common for ladies to give our bras a couple of wears

before loading them up for laundering treatment.

Talk about a dirty little secret.

"It kinda makes you feel like swimming"

Nail-biters

Society might imagine women frequenting salons to get luxurious mani-pedis on the regular,

but in reality a lot of women resort to the oldest trick in the book for nail maintenance:

biting.

Yep, just like guys, we bite our nails for a lot of different reasons.

Maybe they're too long, maybe we're stressed, maybe we broke one and now they all need to

match.

It might not be the most sanitary practice, but nail-gnawing still does happen with women,

too.

Nose-picking

Toddlers aren't the only ones digging for green gold around these parts, guys.

Ladies might try to be discreet about when and where to do our digital booger maintenance,

but rest assured that, just as every woman farts, belches, and farts some more through

the day, her fingers can be found up her nose every now and again, too.

Hey, you may think it's gross, but it's snot.

Judgment

As the old saying goes, "you are your own worst enemy," and that can be especially true

when it comes to women passing quick judgments on one another or even themselves.

"Well you're like really pretty."

"Thank you."

"So you agree?

"You think you're really pretty?

"Oh…

I don't know."

There are a host of theories as to why women tend to cut each other down to size based

on looks, fashion, attitudes, and behaviors.

Is it society pitting us against each other?

Is the biological territoriality and competition instinct taking over?

Who knows?

But the fact is, a lot of women have a tendency to think harsher thoughts about other ladies

in their lives than men.

Bite those nails, pick those noses those habits are fine, really.

But being harsh and judgy to each other, and ourselves?

That's the only habit we really need to break, ladies.

Hi, I'm Chris Whitley-Jones and I'm the managing partner at PRB accountants in

Haywards Heath, West Sussex. Here at PRB we know that the prospect of going through

piles of receipts, working out mileage, and filling in spreadsheets can be a

daunting prospect for our network marketing clients. We also know that

clients worry about not being up-to-date with their taxes, and that they don't

always know the steps that they need to take in order to be compliant. So, we have

worked with a software development company to come up with our own bespoke

bookkeeping software called PRBookkeeping. It's designed to be as easy

and user-friendly as possible with streamlined functionalities, plain

screens, and a convenient balance check function. The system also works as a

communications platform with all relevant information, data, reports and

messages in one central place, so you won't need to search through your email

inbox. With both the software developers as well as myself having been involved

in network marketing for many years, PRBookkeeping is truly customised to the

particular needs of this sector. The system is set up with all the right

account headings to encourage clients to claim for everything that they are

entitled to in order to minimise their taxes. Cloud-based software is widely

used in business now and offers multiple benefits to the end-user, not least of

all because it could be used from anywhere and at any time. With the

government's "Making Tax Digital" initiative on the horizon, businesses

will soon be required to complete all their tax affairs in a digital format. We

are delighted to launch the solution as part of our ongoing commitment to

servicing our network marketing clients. PRBookkeeping can be set up easily and

is available to all helpline service clients for an additional 50 pounds (£50) a

Soccer Jumping Drill for Goalkeepers - Duration: 3:04.

Hello guys, here we are with 10X Soccer Performance dot com. So we have a drill for

the keeper. It's a simple one, where you have to catch the ball but in the air. You have to jump,

You always have to have one knee in the air to protect yourself okay.

There's always many different players, attackers that are going to be there, especially in

the corners or in a situation where you get a cross, so you really need to keep

your knee up okay and jump with you know one leg and up.

So here we are with Jin.

He's going to demonstrate.

I'm just going to throw the ball in the air and he's going to jump.

[Soccer jumping drill for goalkeepers]

That's it!

[Soccer jumping drill for goalkeepers]

It's important that the keeper has the knee up this is the reason why, we have

Camilo here, when the goalkeeper is receiving the ball in the air, there's going to be

always that number 9 striker or even a defender in a corner kick, where he has

to protect himself because otherwise the attacker is going to be able to use his arm

he's going to be able to destabilize the goalkeeper and he's going to get the ball.

So, important now he's going to proper way he's going to get the knee he has a distance

between the striker and himself, you know to get the ball and have it secured okay

So now we're going to demonstrate.

[Soccer players doing an exercise]

He's watching the ball, he's getting away the ball and he doesn't have to risk. Whenever he

has the time to catch it, he has to catch it, but whenever he has no option, just

punch it away. I hope you like and enjoyed the video and make sure you click the link

above and watch more of our channels soccer videos. Thank you guys.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - S03E25 - Episode Review - Duration: 8:05.

Welcome to Ranger Reviews, a webseries where we look at episodes of the tv show, Power

Rangers and then discuss it!

Today, we're exploring the hundred and thirty seventh episode of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

as well as the twenty fifth episode of Season 3, titled "A Different Shade of Pink Part

3".

We begin this episode at the Command Center, where the Rangers excluding Kim, are updating

Zordon how Kat is being told to be handed over for Ninjor.

Zordon then says that he's sure that means that Ninjor that would succumb to the elements

there, like we're not going to just assume death by the name of the place.

Aisha then says that they can't let it happen because he's always been there for them,

which is literally a lie.

Zordon says that it's an impossible choice, and Adam asks for Zordon's advise, and he

basically says "this is not my problem".

Well, okay then, Zordon.

Rita and Zedd are on the moon, and they start arguing about how Rita has always failed,

so Zedd isn't even a little confident in her plan to get Kat.

At the hospital, Kim is looking outside, and Kat walks in.

She tells Kim about how she was supposed to compete in the Pan Global games for Australia.

She tells Kim about how she basically had the trials on lock, but then she lost concentration,

either through overconfidence or excitement, and she hit her head on the board, knocking

herself out.

Apparently, they told her at the hospital that she had lost by one point, so… she

didn't get to go compete.

Kim asks if she went again the next year, and Kat says no, she was too scared.

Kim suggests that Kat thinks that she's afraid to get back on the balance beam, and

essentially, she's right.

Kim also says that she's getting out of the hospital today.

At the Youth Center, Tommy and Rocky walk in, meeting up with Kat.

They sit down, and Kat has decided that she's decided that she's going to trade herself

for Ninjor.

Tommy and Rocky refuse, but Tommy has a plan.

Allegedly.

The six walk in the park, and Billy has some sort of device.

Tommy and Kat stand alone, calling out Rita, who appears with Goldar and Rito.

Goldar puts down Ninjor, and they hand over Kat, but moments before they can grab her,

Billy projects a forcefield around her, protecting her.

Tommy tosses Ninjor over to Rocky to find out that Ninjor wasn't in his jar at all

so….

This is pointless.

Then, Tengas appear.

Ninja Ranger Power Now!

Kat is just stuck in the forcefield, and the Tengas find Billy's device, destroying it.

Billy yells at her to run, but Rito grabs her, and Tommy tries to save her, but he's

too late as they teleport away.

Rita then sticks her tongue out at Tommy.

She says later, leaving.

Billy plans himself that he should've monitored the device.

On the moon, Rita gloats to Zedd about how they have both Kat and Ninjor, and she suggests

that they bottom her up with Ninjor and send her to the Sea of Sorrow too.

Damn, Rita, you're on a murder streak.

But apparently the sea isn't ready yet?

Whatever.

At the Command Center, Kim has joined the other Rangers, and Alpha can't find Katherine.

Meanwhile, we see that Baboo and Squatt are guarding Kat, who is trying to get the keys

off of Squatt.

However, then, Rito comes and trades shifts with them.

Rito then complains that he has a crink in his neck, and Kat says that she knows a way

to get rid of the pain, but he will to come closer.

Then, Kat starts massaging Rito.

What the actual hell is happening?

On top of this, Rito is moaning.

Then, Rita says she's gonna go get Kat, and Kat sees a box, and she asks Rito what's

in it, and turns out, it's the pink power coin.

Then, Rito falls asleep with the keys in his hand, and Kat grabs them, letting herself

out.

She rushes over to the box, grabbing the Pink Power coin.

Rita then walks in, and she's pissed because Kat is out and about.

In the Command Center, Alpha says that the Pink Power Coin is in the hands of good again,

and Alpha is going to try to teleport her down.

Then, Katherine and Rita chase each other around a tiny little table for what feels

like three years before Rita calls down Tengas, but whatever, Katherine is teleported away.

In the Command Center, Kat arrives, and she's just glad to be alive.

Also, she wants to know what the Command Center is as Zordon introduces himself.

She gives the coin back to Kim, and she says that she got it back because she was at the

right place at the right time because clearly, she feels like she just gave a handy for it.

On the moon, Zedd is yelling at Rita because they lost Kat and the Power Coin.

Then, we see that Tommy and Kim are at the Angel Grove Community Pool, and they see Kat,

preparing to dive, which she does pretty quickly.

She tells Kim that she had to do something to show Kim that she could overcome her fears.

Then, we see Kim competing in the trials for the Pan Global games, and honestly, this once

again shows off how amazing Amy Jo Johnson is at gymnastics.

She gets a 99.5, and everyone claps.

At the Youth Center, everyone scatters for a surprise party for Kim, hiding, and Kim

comes in, seeing Bulk, laughing.

They then all come out screaming surprise, hugging her.

Coach Schmidt also has an announcement.

He says that Kim is an awesome athlete, and he wants Kim to move to his facility in Florida

to compete in the games.

At the Command Center, Zordon tells Kim says that she should take this opportunity, and

Kim says, "no, I'm not going" because according to her, when she became a Ranger,

she made a promise to stand by her comrades.

Tommy reminds her that she also promised to be true to herself, and Zordon agrees.

He then says that when she returns, she could be an even more effective Power Ranger, like

she has to come back for another deployment.

Tommy says he'll miss her, but he wants her to do the right thing.

Kim then says that she'll go, but the other Rangers want to know what they're going

to do without a Pink Ranger.

Then, Kim says that she has an idea, asking Alpha to do something.

Alpha then teleports in Kat, and Kim explains that she asked Alpha and Kat to be ready just

in case they managed to change her mind.

Imagine being Kat, sitting on the edge of your bed, waiting to be teleported there to

accept your new mantle as the Pink Ranger, and Kim doesn't change her mind, so you're

just waiting for like three hours.

Zordon says that Kim was smart to do this, and he agrees with Kim that Katherine would

be a great Ranger.

Katherine then promises to do everything as she believes that Kim would.

She then hands over the Power Coin to Katherine.

Zordon says that they might be some residual effects from the spell that Kat was under,

and Zordon introduces Kat to the pink Shark Cycle, which blows, and she also says that

basically, she has to ride bitch with Tommy now in the White Shogunzord.

Welcome to the team, Kat.

Things suck for you.

Kim then says that she's going to miss being with everyone, and they put their hands together,

yelling "Power Rangers", leaping into the air.

Over the credits we get a gymnastics training montage of Kimberly putting in work.

This episode hurts, but not because it's bad by any means.

But because yet another one of the original Rangers is gone, and honestly, the best.

I feel like I could talk about this for forever.

Kimberly has been around since the very beginning as the Pink Ranger.

When we're first introduced to her, she's a vapid valley girl who just loves shopping.

She actually wanted nothing to do with Zordon or this whole superhero thing.

Fast forward 138 episodes, and Kimberly now says that she can't go live out her dream

as a gymnast because she made a promise to be a Power Ranger.

That's beautiful character growth over time that happens so slowly, you almost forget

who Kim was in the first season by this point.

It should be said that Amy Jo Johnson left the show willingly, wanting to pursue other

projects and most likely stop herself from getting typecast as the Pink Ranger, which

kind of happened and kind of didn't.

She has gone on to have a reasonably successful acting career in shows like Felicity and Flashpoint,

and now she focuses more behind the camera.

It's such a shame to see the absolute best actress this show has leave, but to be honest,

these episodes really showed that they cast Catherine Sutherland perfectly for the role

of Kat.

She's a bit of a blank slate right now, but honestly, she's perfectly different

from Kim so that she will be able to become her own character later on.

So, that's it.

Now, only Billy remains a Ranger from the very start, and honestly, it's weird.

But, how will Kat take on her new Ranger duties?

Find out next time, but until then, may the power protect you!

useful vocabulary of course yes so this one that we're talking about is called

Desert Island Discs and it's a program on the radio on Radio 4 at the moment

that's been going for years and years it's got thousands of episodes yeah it

does go on for a while so we're gonna shorten it a little bit but the basics

are that someone is going away to a desert island forever and they need to

yeah you ready let's do it yeah and these songs should like define my life

should they they should yeah okay yeah shall I go get ready go get ready yeah

get your appropriate outfit for your desert island is it a hot one very

very nice what do you think

yeah did you go to one more button it's pretty hot keep the button up well

alright so you're off to the desert

island soon yeah let's start with your preferred music okay what what would

your first song be that you would take to this desert island okay so my first song it

was my first ever album that I bought oh right yeah I went to WH Smiths with my

dad good shop yeah is it still running yeah it's still

running yeah yeah it's still going from strength to strength it's gone from strength to

strength yeah my first ever album was the Smurfs go pop and the Smurfs go

pop was an album done by The Smurfs of cover songs of very famous English

and American pop music and this is my first ever album and I really liked the

Smurfs oh right Papa Smurf and Smurfette and

all those guys the blue guys they're kind of make-believe

yeah I thought they were I didn't know they did songs yes mainly cover songs

right they didn't have much original content but they were you know they weren't

actually real so hard for them to create actual music yeah did they go on tour at all

well I took them away with me wherever I

went so you could say they they traveled the globe yeah they travelled boy I took them to

Greece actually we're currently in Greece and as a kid I used to go to

Greece a lot right and I took this album with me on a holiday okay and and this

album was just so PG it was just unbelievable okay

my first my favorite song it was called Mr. Smurftastic

playing on the Mr. Boombastic exactly by Shaggy yeah and it was it was rapped by Papa Smurf

of course yeah they called him Mr. Smurfastic

so that was when you were how old I was six when that came out you were six yeah

okay and what were you like in Greece as a

six year old were you tearing up the town well I was six so not really

I was I was quite I was probably naughty but this song for me kind of marks the

end of my innocence as a child your innocence stopped at six

yeah because after that my next album was an Eminem album and I started

listening to hip hardcore hip hop a lot of swearing you know the Smurfs didn't

contain one swear word okay so it was all really like PG and I was like yeah the Smurfs go pop

right and then I turned a bit bit darker bit ruder and I learnt all the fun stuff Mr. Slim Shady

so you've got a brother and anyone else yeah I got my brother he's

older than me he's called Luke and he's getting married in a week Wow f***in hell yeah he's

getting married in a week and and he's a bit older than me and then I've got my

sister as well and she's not getting married in a week that would be quite

confusing yes and stressful for your parents yeah that would be terrible of her wouldn't it

you would have to choose who do I prefer yeah yeah

it'd be really really not very nice of her to book her wedding on the same day as her brother

yeah that would be the definition of stealing one's Thunder definitely yeah

your brother's the oldest and your sister is the middle child middle child

and then the your the little wee baby I'm the wee babby yeah yeah yeah yeah

did you feel like you were the little child all the way throughout or were you

trying to beat your brother to things and and show who's boss in some

respects I yeah I did feel like the youngest and I probably got away with

the most I was I think I was the naughtiest out of the three right and yeah

I really I remember I really looked up to my brother like literally and

metaphorically but I yeah I was really like wanting to follow his footsteps

yeah I went to the same university as him I did the same sports that he did

oh of course of

course yeah because he came to visit us yeah at Nottingham Trent yeah he did and he had long hair

like a girl he did he did but weirdly I saw the resemblance very very clearly

really yeah what's your next song I think it's time to go on to another one

move away from the Smurfette's hopefully hopefully there's not a second album

that you're gonna mention no no okay so the next one came in it was 2002 right so I

was 12 years old yeah so six years after the Smurfs go pop

was released okay and and this was around the time were I was like discovering

that girls existed ding dong yeah and that ties in really well with what the song

is I remember listening to this sitting by the radiator in my old house

cos that was my favourite place to watch the TV I used to just sit against the radiator

sometimes on it on it sometimes yeah on the radiator apparently that's really bad

for piles that's what they say who's they my mum used to say it to me she said if you sit on there you get piles

wow she's spot on well yeah cos you ended up having to go to the pharmacy a

year ago not now hemorrhoids can happen yeah yeah it's a real thing guys stay

off the radiator yeah okay so you were on the radiator

yeah assisting your piles along yeah and what were you listening to I love you

and I need you baby I love you I do dilemma by Nelly which is on the Nellyville album

and I remember I fancied two girls at the

the same time at school one was good Charlotte Lant and the other one was

called Danielle Rousseau not naming names no we'll cut them out but yeah and I really fancied them

right what did they have to offer other than other girls in your class why were

they so special why were they they were very pretty

Danielle Busan was more of the sporty one is that all you look for

no no no Daniela Rousseau wasn't as

naturally pretty as Charlotte but she was very sporty and boisterous and fun

and I really liked that she was great fun like you treat her like one of the lads

one of the lads love that at that young age yeah of 10, 11

no 12 you said 12 yeah okay so okay she was a bit of a lad at 12 but she

was still you know pretty put together yes sophisticated women she was a

sophisticated teenager yeah she was yes yeah yeah so I felt like I had a dilemma

like Nelly in the song but Nelly's dilemma was different because he had a

girlfriend and another girl moved up onto his block into his neighborhood and

he was like oh no what am I gonna do but my dilemma was very different because I

didn't have any ladies in my life except for my mum and my sister so I was just like ah

what do I do do I tell Charlotte that I like her and get rejected or do I tell

Danielle I like her and get rejected it's so hard you could have helped them

empathize perhaps by sending them the song perhaps and just said look guys or

girls this is my situation hopefully you'll get my reference from this song

yeah and you'll be able to help me out a bit you know send me your pros and cons

via email that would have been good yeah was it email back in those days probably

not probably MSN MSN I don't know if I was on MSN by

then at 12 I was yeah are you yeah yeah you probably had a PC before I did

you still don't have one though I don't no takes him ages to edit a video it does yeah you

try using a Nokia for that so you were listening to Nelly at the age of 12 did you ever put the plaster on

to sort of pretend no I didn't but he looked really cool didn't he very cool he was wicked yeah he apparently

did that because his brother was in prison it was like to remember that his brother's in prison

don't know why a plaster does that yeah well band-aid...

if I fell seriously ill would you wear a plaster on your cheek and

just wear it for videos until I return we could do that yeah that can be arranged

if that's your wish being in the sickbed or your dying wish I think I'd like you to

grow a full beard for I think other people would as well mm-hmm another

person in this room would like that very much yeah you definitely want that

so you had your dilemma with those two pretty girls

they were so pretty oh I'm sure they were and they not now have you followed up no I don't know

actually they probably are pretty yeah I don't know them now yeah I think one of

them's married and the other one has a baby is it yours no we did kiss though well

I've heard that that is another way to fall pregnant but about I want to ask

you a question when um when I was in that stage of you know dating girls in

middle school yeah I remember that we used to all huddle together and there would

be these arranged moments when you would kiss your partner just a peck on the

lips for example yeah I had one snog in middle school that was my best moment that was

in a of like a language classroom after school we arranged it a big with

tongues and everything and they're like yeah come on Harry Harry and I was kissing her

how long did this snog go on for

20 seconds you counted it was like okay they're

gonna snog for 20 seconds oh wow yeah it was mad and no one looked away

because you know when everyone's like excited for the moment and then you

realize oh that's disgusting did they not turn their backs I don't

know I was so engrossed in the kiss I wasn't looking around I was just like

and your eyes were shut how longs left probably yeah yeah that was with Angelina that was year six

Angelina that was amazing that was really nice yeah did you have

that kind of thing when everyone would push you together and you'd have to kiss

we did yeah I actually have a horrible memory of that because I was going out

with this girl who at the time was very attractive and now is still very very

attractive and all of our friends think she's hot okay and we gathered round she

was ready to kiss me no no I was ready to kiss her and then she kind of backed

out and she said I'm really sorry you're too small ahh no!

I was quite small in year 7 yeah so she was like that height and I was like that

height ah so it was kind of like a kiss upwards ahh that's so harsh yeah

had you how long had you been going out before that we actually went out for

a long time for like nine months and we were on the phone every evening for

about an hour just waffling but you can't tell how tall someone is over the

phone yeah we were at school together so we knew we knew each other and we spent

lunch times together and everything but this kiss came after nine months nine

months of courting and then that happened so I think we split up from

that after that I got my not revenge but I got what I wanted let's say cos

the girl in my classroom heard that I was single and she said d'you wanna kiss me d'you wanna kiss me

so I went out with her and had my first snog in a disabled toilet at a party toilet was it a toilet for very

short people well she was even taller than the last girl and I actually we had the light off

and I was doing it with another friend with his girlfriend they were on the

toilet and we were in the other bit of the room you know urgh it's like an orgy it

was a bit of an orgy yeah but we had our clothes on sure and I actually put you know you went on

your tiptoes I went on my tiptoes oh wow but is in the dark so no one saw that's

great yeah anyway back to you this is the interview for you yep so that was the second song Nelly Dilemma

yeah let's go on to your next so now we're going to a song that was released

in 2004 but it continued to be an important song in my life even right up

until now to be honest yeah but especially up until like 2010 and

the years where I started consuming alcohol and going out on the pull or you

know going out to try and meet girls and things like that with my best

mate Sims okay did Smurfette introduce you to women do you think because ever

since that song you've been talking about women interest you should say that

because there are lots of other songs on that album and it's all about y'know find

fine find the Smurfs find the Smurf um where can the Smurf be hiding and

there's some quite loving songs Wondersmurf sounds a bit rapey like Wonderwall Wondersmurf

okay there were a lot of songs that were kind of lovey-dovey and Smurfette

was the kind of subject of those songs she was the sexy Smurf that everyone

wanted to get she was the only Smurfette wasn't she was yeah she was the only one so

she was she played hard to get she certainly did yeah I remember

that yeah okay okay so Papa Smurf bit of paedo really yeah Papa meaning

he's her father right yep ah yeah potentially that's

disgusting yeah or like the Pope of the Smurf world oh okay

still he should be celibate yes yeah he shouldn't be smurfing anybody

so it's an Usher song from the album confessions and the song has got the same name confessions

he cheats on his girlfriend mm-hmm and the girlfriend the person he cheats with

falls pregnant and then that's he's kind of in a dilemma as well really but this

was a song that I used to listen to always with my mate Simo before we'd go out

right the album was amazing it had so many bangers on it and I loved it and

I used to just get very drunk with my friend in my room yeah we used to play the xbox

burnout oh yeah good game and we used to play drinking games to that so if we took the

other person out the other person would have to down their beer and my

parents hated it they hate it cos' we were binge drinking like idiot upstairs

listening to this album shouting being really loud lairy and um drinking way too

much three adjectives for Usha um cool modern I was gonna think smooth ah yeah guess so

cheating yeah disloyal yeah but is it is it real or is he just creating material

for his lyrics I reckon this probably happened in his life I mean not a lot of

writers song writers will write about things that have happened in their

life that's a shame maybe it's something he deeply regrets yeah and he wanted to

sort of confess to her yeah and the kid that's now

gonna grow up with a single mum yeah you know stacking shelves in Lidl

well that's assumptions. That'll be his next album haha the fourth song then I

probably first heard this in my first year well my only year when I was living in

Spain so this is an important song for me because I had worked for a year and a half

in England in a job I hated I'd been traveling came back worked another

job I hated became a teacher and then moved to spain it was my first teachers job

yeah my first proper teaching job okay yeah yeah so your first first

gig out in a foreign country yeah you did have some experience I remember in

Thailand or yeah another country in Asia yeah Cambodia in Cambodia sorry yeah and

you taught some very happy little children yeah some basic English mm-hmm

and that's when you sort of got a glimmer of hope towards a job that you

quite like exactly yes spot on yeah yeah so uh and also is that trip that maybe

think I wanted our language ah yes yes I remember

skyping you from America and you were in Cambodia you picked up a few words and

you were quite excited by it all yeah I was yeah it was amazing yeah I could

have a basic conversation with someone at the market just with just like in

in Cambodian in pidgen Cambodian (Khmer) really yeah we just like no grammer at all

just just words just vocabulary that's still very impressive it was great because you

weren't there for too long I think I've spent like three months there or

something in total so I returned home from that trip yeah and then was kind of

a bit down for a bit boohoo worked in another job that I despised became a

teacher and was asked what was that job roughly about I was a charity fundraiser

charity fundraiser on the phone working with a third party agency that was calling on

behalf of charities I was proper depressed but during that

time every day every morning for about three hours I was

learning Spanish yeah and that takes me onto this song yeah nice very nice so

what's this song so it's a song by Los Panchos which are Mexican bolero group

they sing like kind of what their version of ballads they're kind of

really love lovey-dovey songs right it's like a mariachi band

so three guitarists singing and harmonizing it's really beautiful and

they did a song called algo contigo okay which is something with you umm

something romantic and my Spanish teacher yeah in Spain introduced

me to this song and we learned it and did a listening exercise in a class

so very very romantic oh my god yeh so romantic ok

and musical as well hmm oh yeah yeah it's really beautiful so beautiful I'd

love to be able to like play the guitar like they do yeah but I can't well maybe maybe you

could while you have some time on the desert Island mmm what a bloody good idea OK so

so that's that's your fourth song right but let's just talk about that moment in your life so you said

that you were learning Spanish everyday for a couple of months or maybe more and

then you moved to Spain and did some teaching yeah and what happened in Spain

was a good experience for you it yeah it was a good experience yeah because I

learned what I like and what I don't like about teaching yeah I don't really love

working for an academy where your hours are all over the place yeah I was working some

hours at 8 a.m. in the morning and up to like 9 or 10 p.m. right with kind of

big gaps between classes that was awful okay and I meanwhile I was speaking

with you on skype between lessons yes and you were like man you should just

start working for yourself yeah I work like four or five hours a day I choose

when I work it's so chilled I don't have to teach anyone that I don't like and I was

like oh my god I hate you cos' I was I had some kids classes and these kids

literally hated my guts it was horrible he sent me a video of them just running

riot in the class and you just sat there like I can't do anything the worst thing

is they didn't speak in Spanish in the school they talked in Basque so I didn't

understand a word where is the basque region in Spain and it's kind of to the

east of Galicia and Asturias mm-hmm and then to the west of Catalonia

I always remember Bilbao Bilbao yeah great city I was about an hour

from there okay yeah and Bilbao is within the Basque region

it is right yeah yeah and Basque is not Spanish totally different okay in fact

the language is a complete mystery no one knows where it came from

do the Basque people speak Spanish yeah yeah okay pretty much all speak Spanish you

might go to a really small town yeah a small community where they can't speak

Spanish but it's quite unlikely Wow yeah okay so that was your fourth song yeah

now I am whisking you away to the desert island we have those four songs you've

got those four so you can listen to them as as up as often as you like okay okay

and of course you get what you've been waiting for the complete works of

Shakespeare oh good yeah good yeah can I have them in Spanish yes yes I'll give

you that and you also get the Bible or another religious book of your

preference that's guaranteed yeah it's in your suitcase already so you can't

sort of lob it out okay which which religious holy book would you like I'd

like something related to Buddhism like I don't know if they have a kind of

religious manuscript no they don't actually I was looking they don't have a

holy book but there are Buddhist books that you could take can I can I take the

writings of the the kind of best quotes of Buddha yeah in Spanish yes in Spanish

always in Spanish audiobook do you think you'll forget English because there's

been no one there to speak to you in English and I just have loads of Spanish

yeah loads of Shakespearean yes but maybe I need a bit of English I think

I'll be fine I don't think you forget your mother tongue

do you I'm going there I'm 27 nearly 28 I don't think I'm gonna forget

English how long do you reckon you'll last on this island yeah it depends on the

island how many coconuts they've got they've got a sufficient amount of

coconuts good amount of fish and stuff yeah yep they've got enough

fish I think I'll be all right you think what for as long as you will live

No I mean I'll probably end up killing myself I don't know until I get completely bored

you know there's there's illnesses that probably could kill you that are very

minimal in civilized life like just a little cut infected BAM lose you lose

your foot blood everywhere dead well that's something to look

forward to yeah but if you took the Bible maybe could rip out the pages and

of use it as a band-aid or find salvation in God in which case I wouldn't really fear death anymore

Umm so your last luxury item what's it gonna be now just to say this luxury item if

you haven't ever listened to the Desert Island Discs this item shouldn't allow

you contact with the outer world nor should it allow you ways to escape the

island so you've got to stay there you can't really speak to other people but

it's a luxury item I'm willing to give to you to send you away to this

island I think maybe a photo album of friends and family that I love very nice

because otherwise over time eventually maybe I'd forget what these

people look like and that would be horrible yeah so I'd have to try and draw them on pieces of

rock with a bit of chalk or on a Wilson volleyball yeah so if that's my mum yeah

I'm actually maybe I should just think of what Wilson volleyball you never know

you might find one of them yeah they do tend to leave them lying around

on desert islands yeah and you wouldn't lose your mind?

I can't promise that but it could well happen I don't know how long it's

gonna happen but I think the photos will help me I'll look and think

what would your Mum say yeah good thank you very much thank you well we're gonna send

you on to the desert island but it's been very interesting hope you've

enjoyed it guys right wish me luck

so if you enjoyed that give us a little thumbs up and leave us a comment as to

what you think about Harry's choices and whether you think he will survive for very

long see you in another video Bye for now

DEATH VS DEATH METAL - BOSS HM2 vs BEHRINGER HM300 - Duration: 11:41.

Ha!

Hey!

Whoa, hey! What's up?

What's up everyone? I'm Ola Englund

and today I'm very excited, because I'm gonna put two pedals head-to-head against each other

First, we have the Boss HM 2 Heavy Metal pedal and this is a classic pedal

And I've already made a video using this pedal to showcase the Swedish Death Metal type of sound

This pedal is made in Japan, it's made in the 80s

and after Boss stopped making them, there has been a bunch of knockoff pedals entering the market

and one of them is the Behringer HM 300 Heavy Metal

and even though the pedal itself is pink, I must say it kinda resembles the Heavy Metal metal

I mean, it's got the same layout on the knobs, it's even called HM 300, you know?

It's a little bit weird, but it's pink

So the idea is just for me to check out and see how they fare against each other

Will the behringer HM 300 sound like the HM 2?

Huh? It's kind of interesting, I think so at least

Maybe you don't like these kinds of versus videos, but I like it

I'm excited to hear how they sound

I'm using a solar A1.6 Artist into these two pedals and then into the Randall Satan

through the Hesu 2x12 with Demon Speakers and a Beyerdynamic M160 microphone

and yeah

Now there's no sound, because the amp is in standby, that's normal

So ...

What is that noise?

Oh

That's true bypass for you

Oh man

Oh, I didn't see this before, that the whole casing of this pedal is plastic

Yeah

I mean, in its defense, it's very cheap. It was like 20 dollars or something like that, for me to buy

Okay, let's try it out. This is the Satan sound without any of the Pedals engaged, okay?

And I think we can turn it up a little, just because it's Monday

Chunky, I must say.

but that sound is just beautiful, what is it?

Let me try out the Boss HM2 first, see if it's awesome

and of course I have all the the dials, or all the knobs on maximum, because that's just how it is

The good thing with the Satan is that, because you have the prefilters

you can kind of work together with the overdrive pedal

and yeah, it's really awesome. It really helps to shape that type of tone.

F***ing hell, that's awesome. That's like ... Oh, that's just evil.

You know, I can feel my beard growing as I'm playing through this rig

It's just a lot of fun

Okay, just to get back on topic

Let's just max out the knobs and play for a little bit, and then I'm gonna max out the knobs on this one

Oh

Oh, come on.

There it is, yes

Ooh

Okay, and we'll just switch between and see if it sounds about the same as the Boss HM2, okay?

To be honest, the difference was smaller than I expected

So yeah, let's play around with the Behringer pedal for a bit

Nope

My whole room is vibrating, this is awesome

I hope that sounds as good with the microphone as it does in the room

because it sounds f***ing awesome, to be honest, like ...

That's just like ...

It's like a ...

You know, you like, take a knife and then you cut through the bread

That's the kind of sound I'm getting right now, in a good way.

That's a weird f***ing comparison right there

Okay, I know what you all want to hear

Both at the same time

Let's do it

There's already so much distortion happening right now

So it doesn't really affect the sound that much, if you use both at the same time, but yeah

and I must say the Satan sounded really awesome with these pedals

Oh, that's the door. Shit.

Alright, awesome, that was the first time

That was my neighbor

Oh well, he was wondering what I was doing

That's actually the first time that someone has acknowledged that I'm playing guitar

So yeah, that's nice, I guess, that they can appreciate my HM2 metal sounding

And with that let's just end it at that note

And yeah, I actually thought that the HM 300 Behringer pedal sounded pretty much the same as the HM2

I don't mean the HM 300 is like ...

I'm not sure if it's available anymore, but it's like 30 bucks or 20 bucks or something like that

So, it's a very cheap way to get this type of sound

and this is still like, this is a Japanese made HM2, so it's not the Taiwan ones

and these are supposed to be a little better than the Taiwan ones

Anyway, yeah, still a lot of fun. I mean, I love playing with this type of sound

It's so ...

You know, it's so ...

So manly!

You know?

I feel like a man

And I need help ...

with that ...

Sometimes ...

So it's good I have these pedals to help me out, so yeah

If you liked this video, please subscribe to my channel if you haven't already

and if you liked it, put a thumps up

See? Working the tongue there

Thumbs up

Thumbs up

Thumbs up

Thumbs up

Thumbs up

See you

You

Why Tunnels Don't Collapse - Duration: 8:40.

Tunnels play an important role in our constructed environment as passageways for mines, conveyance

for utilities, and routes for transportation. But, excavating a tunnel underground in unstable

material can lead to some dangerous situations, like the 2010 mining accident in Chile when

33 men were trapped deep in subsurface for more than 2 months. Hey I'm Grady, and this

is Practical Engineering. On today's episode we're talking how engineers stabilize tunnel

excavations to keep them from collapsing.

This video is sponsored by Dollar Shave Club - more on that later.

Rocks are heavy. That may seem self-evident, like many fundamental principles of civil

engineering. But when you build things underground, it starts to become a major consideration.

Just like atmospheric pressure is created by the weight of air molecules pressing down

on each other, pressure exists in the subsurface of the Earth from the weight of the soil and

rock above. This pressure compresses the material in the subsurface more and more the further

down you go. Building a horizontal passageway, or a tunnel, through this material, interrupts

the flow of these compressive forces. Just like if you remove a column from a building,

excavating a tunnel takes away the support from the material above. Where you once had

compression throughout the subsurface, now you've created a zone of tensile stress,

where the material above the tunnel is trying to pull away from itself.

Many materials react differently to tension than they do to compression, and soil and

rock are no different. You can imagine soil as a collection of individual particles. The

only reason a soil mass has any strength at all is because of the friction between those

particles. But friction is a function of the force pressing the particles together. So,

if you instead reverse that force and pull the particles apart, the soil loses all its

strength. Some soils, like clay, do have a certain amount of natural attraction between

the particles, called cohesion, but it's not enough on its own to resist significant

forces. In other words, you can't make a rope out of soil - it has no strength against

tension. If you build a tunnel in soil, you have to replace the support you removed with

some other way to transfer the load of the soil above. This is why many tunnels are lined

with materials like steel or concrete, to provide support to the tunnel walls and transfer

the stresses in the subsurface around the tunnel. These lining systems add a major cost

to the tunnel construction.

Rock, on the other hand, behaves a little bit differently in that it does have some

tensile strength. You could make a rope from it. Not that it would be particularly useful,

but it's a good way to imagine the difference between soil and rock mechanics. In fact rock

generally has more strength than soil for all types of stress. This additional strength

gives rock the ability to transfer forces around a tunnel just like the lining discussed

before. But, it's not as simple as saying tunnels in soil require support and tunnels

in rock don't. Geologists use the term "massive" to describe rock that is uniform without layers

or joints. Unfortunately, not all rock is massive. In fact, most geologic units of rock

in the subsurface have at least some amount of jointing, or natural breaks. In many cases,

the jointing of rock follows specific patterns that can be observed and mapped. But, the

problem with joints is that they have no tensile strength, and so no ability to transfer tensile

stress. You can see that jointed rock starts to behave more like a soil just with much

larger particles. So, even tunnels through rock often require some type of support to

prevent collapse.

But, what if there was a way to take advantage of the superior strength of rock without going

to the added trouble and expense of lining the tunnel to provide support? Well it turns out there is.

Rock bolts are a type of reinforcement for stabilizing rock excavations, usually

made from steel bars or bolts. I built this demonstration to show how they work. This

is essentially the frame of a table, but the top is completely open. I attached a bottom

to the frame to represent temporary shoring of a tunnel roof. Even though our permanent

support system doesn't rely on this, it's necessary until we get the rock bolts installed.

My rock bolts are just actual bolts with large fender washers to spread out the load. You

can see that I spaced them out in a nice grid pattern. Actual rock bolts are similarly installed

in a pattern along a tunnel.

For the rock material of the tunnel roof, I'm using gravel. Of course, there are a

few differences from the real world and my demonstration here. First, in the real world,

the rock is there first. We don't get the convenience of adding the rock after the tunnel

is already in place. Real rock bolts are installed by drilling into the native material. The

other difference is the scale. Although there isn't a fine line between soil and rock

mechanics, gravel really falls into the soil side. It would never be feasible to use this

many rock bolts just to stabilize a gravel mass. Rock bolts are most feasible when you're

tunneling through jointed rock where you can put a little more space between the bolts,

but this demo is just to show that it can be done.

To tension the rock bolts, I tightened washers and nuts onto each one. Another obvious difference

between my demo and the real world is that we don't normally having access to the top

of the bolts to add nuts and washers. Instead, the rock bolts are secured at their ends by

some other method. Two of the most common methods of anchoring are a wedge device and

pumping in grout. It's very similar to putting an anchor in concrete or even hanging a picture

frame in drywall. Once the bolts were tensioned, it was time to remove the temporary bottom.

You can see I lost a little bit of gravel between the rock bolts, but the majority of

the rock is spanning gap. I've essentially created a bridge made from gravel. But you

know that supporting its own weight isn't exciting enough for this channel. So I decided

to put my own safety on the line as a test subject. The rockbolted gravel could support

my weight, even with a few hops. You can see things flexing a bit underneath, but the simulated

tunnel ceiling held strong. There are lot of ways to conceptualize what's happening

here. At the most basic level, the bolts are creating a continuous zone of compression

in the gravel. I've taken a fractured rock mass and knitted it back together, giving

it the ability to resist tensile stress. This is very similar to post-tensioned reinforcement

used in some concrete structures.

Like I mentioned before, trying to support a gravel ceiling using rockbolts isn't the

most appropriate use. They do have their limitations. But, this simple construction method dramatically

reduces the cost of making tunnels through rock safe from collapse. And public safety

is priority number one for civil engineers. Do you have questions about tunnels or any

other topic in engineering? If so, post it in the comments below. Thank you for watching

and let me know what you think.

3 Slipups That Independent Artists do - Duration: 6:02.

Mike Sarge: Music artists and entrepreneurs, what's good?

Mike Sarge here from mikesarge.com and today I'm getting into the top mistakes that I see

independent music artists and entrepreneurs make.

You don't wanna miss this one so go ahead and hit that subscribe button and let's work.

Salutes to that.

Now I'm not gonna lie to y'all.

I love, I mean I absolutely love seeing people excited about taking the next step in their

career, taking the next step towards their passions and their goals and their dreams,

the things like that.

But too much excitement without real focus will cause you to take a misstep, hit a speed

bump, which ultimately will lead to disappointment so I'm gonna get into the top mistakes that

I see many creatives like music artists and entrepreneurs make.

So let's get into this.

Mike Sarge: Number one, thinking that your talent is enough.

Look, being talented or gifted in a particular area does not equal long term success.

Let's be honest.

I mean, there are tons of talented people that never did anything and I'm pretty sure

you went to school with some of them.

Now this is what happens with talented people.

I mean, talented people, they show up, they do what they do and then what happens?

They start blaming anyone and everyone for why things didn't go as they planned because

they assumed they didn't have to put in the work ethic and the drive and all those things

that are necessary to be successful.

So what I really wanna put onto you and every one watching today is there's tons of talented

people out there, so what makes you any different?

Mike Sarge: Number two, you are not grinding effectively.

Some of you guys are confusing hard work and grinding with the basics.

What do I mean?

Let me explain this right now with a real, real simple example.

Let's just say that both of us are in school right now.

You're in class with me, right?

And at the end of the grading period I end up with a 95 and you end up with an 85.

When I mean don't get confused with hard work and grinding with the basics, it's let's take

the school example.

Basics, what's basic in that class?

Basics are going to class.

The basics is doing your homework, passing your quizzes, passing your tests and the final

exam.

Those things are basic.

But does that equal a 95?

No, that's just a requirement of the class.

Now if you look at the person that got a 95, 9 times out of 10 they were doing things that

you didn't no nothing about.

Mike Sarge: They were staying after class later than compared to everyone else.

They probably had study cards, they were learning different ways, they were a part of study

groups, things like that.

That's why they got the 95 and you only got the 85.

You were expecting a 95 just doing the things that you should have been doing, the things

that were required of you.

Now let me bring this back to the flip side, creators and entrepreneurs.

Some of you guys are expecting big time, full time results doing basic things that are already

required.

For example, if you're a music artist, it is basic to make music.

It is basic to promote that music.

It is basic to release projects.

It's basic to have social media pages around your brand and around your name.

Those are basic things so why are so many of you guys getting upset when you are doing

those things and you don't feel like things are popping the way that you feel like they

should?

Mike Sarge: Those are basic things, what extra things are you doing?

How much studying of other artists are you doing?

How much reading into books and tutorials are you learning about the marketing aspect

and how to step up your social media game?

Are you trying to learn how to make album and EP covers?

Are you trying to learn how to be a better engineer, mixing and mastering and all these

different things?

What are you doing past the basics?

So that's what I mean, let's stop confusing the basics with hard work and grinding.

There is a difference, many of you need to change your mentality on if whether or not

you are grinding effectively.

Number three, not appreciating your small fan base.

Now I have noticed that there are a lot of people, a lot of music artists, a lot of entrepreneurs

that believe they're not progressing because they look at their peers and they look at

their peers' follower count and subscribers and retweets and comments and things like

that and they feel as if they're not progressing.

Mike Sarge: And all they do is look at their fan base and are like, "Man, I only have a

hundred followers."

"Man, I only have 50."

"I only have 10 and some of those are friends and family."

Here's the thing about it, you have to, you have to appreciate the fan base that you have

and the supporters that you have.

Do not neglect them looking at other people's journey and other people's grind.

Me personally, I would rather have 10 to 15 or even 20 die hard fans than having 1000

that really don't care about me at all.

And you know why?

Because those 10 to 15, those die hards, are actually not only are they gonna buy your

product, buy your music, but they're actually gonna share it with people.

Until this day, the quickest way to get news around is word of mouth.

The most effective way is word of mouth.

Mike Sarge: So don't neglect people that are supporting you just because you don't see

the numbers yet.

So what do you think?

Did you like the video?

If so, go ahead and hit that like button and then hit that subscribe button.

Like you probably should have did at the beginning of the video but I forgive you anyway.

Also, let me know what you think.

If you agree with what I said or you disagreed, leave a comment and let me know what I missed

out on.

Or if there's a topic or a question you want me to address please leave a comment and I'll

be sure to hop on that and make a video on that.

And, as always, be you, enjoy your life, live authentic.

Salutes to that.

Catch y'all later.

24 Hours of Spa - ALL WINNERS - 1924-2017 - Duration: 12:42.

Hi everyone I hope you're fine today we end up for a video

a little special

in which we will take the temperature for the Spa 24 hours

since at the moment I'm recording

this video we are a week before the race

and so we will come back to the different winners until the 2017 edition

but before all that a little point history let's go

the first race took place in 1924

1 year after the first 24h of Le Mans and besides this event is still historically

the second race lasting 24h

still active after being created just after Le Mans

after seeing the success of the 24h du Mans a year earlier

the Belgian Federation decides to create its own event

of endurance with the primary objective of giving Belgian manufacturers

the opportunity to compete

on his own ground

one of the most amazing points of the settlement at the time

was to force the same mechanic to stay in the car for 24 hours

all while two drivers take turns at the wheel

another small parenthesis to clarify that the race

did not occur on several occasions including from 1939 to 1947

because of the second world war obviously

but also because of economic crises

the race itself was contested under several regulations

in 1953 it is part

of the world championship of sports cars

of the European Touring Car Championship from 1966 to 1973

and from 1982 to 1988

from 2001 to 2009 it was part of the FIA GT Championship

in 2010 she was part of the FIA GT2 European Championship

before being the race as we know it today

as part of the Blancpain Endurance Series

I let you discover the different winners

24h Spa until the 2017 edition

as well as our predictions at the end of the video for the 2018 edition

but before you will find some honorable mentions

these are cars that have marked us personally for their originality in particular

I wish you a good viewing

and I invite you to follow us on Instagram to find another facet of our content

see you soon for new videos on Racing Media

Keys to Breakthrough - Part 1 - Duration: 28:32.

ANNOUNCER: THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN MADE POSSIBLE BY

THE FRIENDS AND PARTNERS OF JOYCE MEYER MINISTRIES.

JOYCE: SO THE FIRST KEY TO BREAKTHROUGH IS, FIRST OF ALL,

PRAY.

WE ALWAYS PRAY.

THAT'S PART OF EVERYTHING.

AND THEN, DON'T JUST PRAY FOR GOD TO FIX IT FOR YOU.

PRAY FOR GOD TO SHOW YOU TRUTH, TO SHOW YOU WHAT

THE REAL ISSUE IS.

[MUSIC]

JOYCE: IS THERE ANYBODY IN THIS BUILDING TODAY, OR IN

THE OVERFLOWS, OR WATCHING BY TELEVISION THAT YOU NEED

A BREAKTHROUGH IN YOUR LIFE?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: HOW MANY OF YOU ARE ASKING GOD TO GIVE YOU

A BREAKTHROUGH?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: WELL, I SAID LAST NIGHT WAS GONNA BE A HAPPY

NIGHT, YOU WERE GONNA LIKE EVERYTHING I SAID.

TODAY, YOU PROBABLY WON'T LIKE EVERYTHING I SAY.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: IT MIGHT NOT BE QUITE AS HAPPY RIGHT NOW, BUT IT'S ONE

OF THOSE MESSAGES THAT IF YOU FOLLOW IT, A YEAR FROM NOW,

OR TWO YEARS FROM NOW, OR SIX MONTHS FROM NOW,

YOU'RE GONNA BE A WHOLE LOT HAPPIER THAN YOU ARE

RIGHT NOW.

EVERYTHING THAT WE HEAR IS NOT ALWAYS SOMETHING

THAT FEELS GOOD.

SOMETIMES WE NEED TO HEAR THINGS THAT MAKE US SQUIRM IN OUR SEATS

A LITTLE BIT, MAYBE EVEN GET A LITTLE BIT MAD AT THE PREACHER

FOR A FEW MINUTES.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: 'CAUSE, YOU KNOW, WHEN THEY TELL US SOMETHIN' WE DON'T

WANNA HEAR, IT'S EASY TO GET MAD AT 'EM, BUT I BELIEVE THAT

YOU'LL ALL SEE THE TRUTH IN WHAT I'M GONNA SAY.

THE MAIN THING THAT I WANNA SAY IS THAT IF YOU WANT ANY KIND OF

A BREAKTHROUGH IN YOUR LIFE, FINANCIAL BREAKTHROUGH,

BREAKTHROUGH IN YOUR HEALTH, BREAKTHROUGH IN RELATIONSHIPS,

WHATEVER IT IS THAT YOU MIGHT WANT A BREAKTHROUGH IN, FIRST

THING YOU SHOULD ALWAYS DO IS PRAY, BUT NEVER PRAY AND ASK GOD

TO DO ANYTHING FOR YOU IF YOU DON'T INTEND TO LISTEN TO WHAT

HE PROBABLY IS GOING TO TELL YOU TO DO THAT WILL ULTIMATELY BRING

THAT BREAKTHROUGH.

I'M GONNA SAY THAT AGAIN.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: SEE, THIS IDEA WE HAVE ABOUT PRAYER IS PRAY AND GET GOD

TO DO EVERYTHING.

WHEN WE'VE DONE OUR RESPONSIBILITY, THEN WE HAVE

THE RIGHT TO CAST OUR CARE ON GOD AND WAIT FOR HIM TO DO

WHAT WE CANNOT DO.

IN EPHESIANS CHAPTER 6, THIS IS LAID OUT SO CLEARLY.

IT'S A CHAPTER ABOUT SPIRITUAL WARFARE AND THE ARMOR THAT GOD

HAS GIVEN US.

GREAT TEACHING POINTS IN EPHESIANS 6, BUT I LOVE WHAT IT

SAYS IN THE BEGINNING.

IT SAYS: "HAVING DONE ALL [THE CRISIS DEMANDS], NOW

STAND [FIRMLY IN YOUR PLACE]."

A LOT OF TIMES PEOPLE JUST SAY, "WELL, WE'RE JUST STANDING,"

BUT HAVE YOU DONE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY?

HAVE YOU DONE WHAT YOU SHOULD BE DOING?

TELL YOU A STORY.

YEARS AGO, WE HAD BANQUETS.

WE'D HAVE MEETINGS LIKE THIS, BUT, OF COURSE, NOT THIS LARGE,

AND EVERYBODY WOULD SIT AROUND TABLES, AND MEALS WOULD BE

SERVED, AND IT WAS MORE LIKE A WEEKEND, YOU KNOW, EVENT.

A LOT OF THOSE WERE AT WOMEN'S CONFERENCES

OR MARRIAGE RETREATS.

AND SO, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT LADIES MIGHT SIT AT ONE TABLE, AND

A LADY CAME IN AT THE END OF THE CONFERENCE, AND SHE SAID, "WELL,

I LEARNED A BIG LESSON TODAY."

SHE SAID, "AS GOD WOULD HAVE IT, HE PUT ME AT THE TABLE WITH A

LOT OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD A LOT OF THE SAME SIMILAR PROBLEMS

THAT I'VE HAD AND CAME FROM A SIMILAR BACKGROUND THAT I

CAME FROM WHERE SHE HAD BEEN MISTREATED AND ABUSED.

SHE SAID, "THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IN ME AND THEM NOW IS I LISTENED

TO THEM TALK ABOUT THE TROUBLE THEY WERE HAVIN', AND GOD SHOWED

'EM TO DO THIS, AND THEY DID IT, AND THEN GOD SHOWED 'EM TO DO

THAT AND THEY DID IT.

SHE SAID, "YOU KNOW, GOD SHOWED ME EVERYTHING HE SHOWED THEM.

THE ONLY DIFFERENT WAS I NEVER DID IT."

SO, JUST THROWIN' THIS OUT FOR THOUGHT.

IF THE SHOE DON'T FIT, YOU DON'T HAVE TO WEAR IT.

BUT I WONDER JUST IN THIS ROOM RIGHT NOW HOW MANY

PEOPLE THERE ARE THAT YOU KNOW THAT GOD HAS TOLD YOU TO DO

SOMETHING OR NOT TO DO SOMETHING AND YOU STILL HAVE NOT--YOU'RE

STILL PRAYIN', BUT YOU HAVEN'T TAKEN THE ACTION YET TO DO WHAT

GOD TOLD YOU TO DO.

WELL, LOOK AT THAT, WELL.

I REALLY DON'T WANNA BE MEAN BUT I'M HAVIN' A HARD

TIME FEELIN' SORRY FOR YA.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: 'CAUSE HERE'S THE THING.

WE ARE PARTNERS WITH GOD.

HE'S JUST NOT OUR BIG CELESTIAL SANTA CLAUS THAT WE JUST GIVE

OUR LIST TO EVERY YEAR AND SIT BACK AND LOLLYGAG AROUND WHILE

HE PROVIDES EVERYTHING WE NEED.

THAT'S NOT THE WAY IT WORKS, AND I THINK THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE

HAVE BEEN DECEIVED INTO THINKING THAT.

I WAS IN A CHURCH FOR A LONG, LONG TIME, AND I KNEW ABOUT THE

DOCTRINAL THINGS OF THE CHURCH.

I HAD A GOOD FOUNDATION ON SALVATION, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW ANY

OF THE STUFF THAT I KNOW NOW.

I THOUGHT EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED WAS GOD DOING IT.

AND IF IT WAS GONNA GET UNDONE, THEN GOD HAD TO UNDO IT.

I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING ABOUT MY RESPONSIBILITY.

I DIDN'T KNOW THAT YOU COULD HEAR FROM GOD.

YOU KNOW, AND A LOT OF PEOPLE TODAY, THEY DON'T LIKE THAT

THOUGHT THAT YOU CAN HEAR FROM GOD.

I MEAN, WHEN YOU TALK TO GOD, IT'S PRAYER, BUT WHEN GOD TALKS

TO YOU, YOU'RE PSYCHOTIC.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: I MEAN, IT'S AMAZING THE WAY PEOPLE ACT AND LOOK AT

YOU IF YOU SAY, "GOD TOLD ME," OR, "GOD SHOWED ME."

"WELL, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?"

I MEAN, ALL OVER THE BIBLE, IT TALKS ABOUT: "AND GOD SAID TO

MOSES," "AND GOD SAID TO ABRAHAM," "AND GOD SAID TO

JACOB," "AND GOD SAID TO DAVID," "AND GOD SAID TO JOSEPH."

I MEAN, THAT'S THE OLD TESTAMENT.

NOW, TRUE, HE LIVES IN US NOW, AND WE MAY NOT HEAR AS MANY

AUDIBLE VOICES, BUT GOD SPEAKS TO US, AND ONE OF THE WAYS THAT

GOD SPEAKS TO US--INTERESTING ENOUGH, ONE OF THE WAYS THAT GOD

SPEAKS US, AND I WANNA BE CAREFUL WHEN I SAY THIS.

I DON'T WANNA GIVE ANYBODY THE WRONG IDEA, BUT ONE OF THE WAYS

THAT GOD SPEAKS TO US IS THROUGH OUR OWN THOUGHTS.

AND SO IT BECOMES A THOUGHT THAT WON'T GO AWAY.

MAYBE, LIKE, SOMETHING YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO FOR SOMEBODY,

AND IT JUST WON'T GO AWAY.

YOU WAKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, AND THERE IT IS AGAIN.

YOU'RE DRIVIN' TO WORK, AND THERE IT IS AGAIN.

OR MAYBE IT'S SOMETHING THAT GOD WANTS YOU TO DO, AND IT'S

A DIFFERENT QUALITY OF THOUGHT THAN JUST YOUR OWN THOUGHT

RUNNING THROUGH YOUR HEAD.

IT'S A THOUGHT THAT YOU HAVE THAT YOUR WHOLE SPIRIT BEARS

WITNESS WITH, AND YOU JUST KINDA KNOW THAT IT'S SOMETHING THAT

YOU NEED TO DO.

THAT'S THE BEAUTY OF HAVIN' THE HOLY SPIRIT LIVING ON THE INSIDE

OF US, SO WE CAN HEAR THE GENTLE WHISPERS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

HE'S NOT IN THE HABIT OF YELLING AT US AND MAKING US DO THINGS.

HE WHISPERS TO US WHAT HE WANTS US TO DO.

HE GUIDES US, AND THEN HE EXPECTS US TO DO IT.

GOD WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO DO ANYTHING IF HE DOES NOT GIVE YOU

THE GRACE TO DO IT.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: NEVER.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SO THAT GIRL SITTIN' AT THAT TABLE, SHE HAD THE SAME

ABILITY TO OBEY GOD AS ALL THE REST OF THOSE WOMEN, BUT FOR

SOME REASON, SHE STILL GOT STUCK IN THAT OLD IMPROPER THINKING

ABOUT, "PRAYER MEANS THAT I ASK GOD, AND HE DOES EVERYTHING."

NOW, OBVIOUSLY, THERE'S A LOT OF THINGS THAT GOD DOES THAT WE

CAN'T DO, BUT, "HAVING DONE ALL [THE CRISIS DEMANDS], THEN YOU

STAND [FIRMLY IN YOUR PLACE]," AND YOU WAIT FOR GOD TO DO

WHAT ONLY HE CAN DO.

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT DON'T YOU SEE THIS AS KIND OF

A FALLACY IN THE WAY WE THINK SOMETIMES?

YOU KNOW, WE'RE PARTNERS WITH GOD.

THAT'S THE EXCITING THING ABOUT HANGIN' OUT WITH GOD, IS IT'S

NOT JUST, LIKE, HE TAKES OVER, AND YOU HAVE NO PERSONALITY,

AND YOU HAVE NO WILL, AND YOU CAN'T MAKE ANY DECISIONS.

A LOT OF TIMES, GOD WILL JUST BE WITH YOU WHILE YOU WORK OUT

DECISIONS, AND IF ONE DOESN'T WORK, HE'LL GET YOU BACK

ON THE RIGHT PATH.

IT'S PART OF BEING A HUMAN BEING.

HE DOESN'T WANT TO DO EVERYTHING FOR US.

HE WANTS US TO WORK TOGETHER IN PARTNERSHIP TO GET HIS WILL DONE

IN THE EARTH, AMEN?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SO, I MIGHT AS WELL WARN YOU AHEAD OF TIME THAT, AS

I TALK ABOUT ALL THESE KEYS TO BREAKTHROUGH, THAT THERE'S GONNA

BE A RESPONSIBILITY ATTACHED TO ALMOST EVERY ONE OF THEM.

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT?

AN IRRESPONSIBLE PERSON IS AN UNHAPPY PERSON.

YOU CAN'T BE HAPPY WHEN DEEP IN YOUR HEART YOU KNOW THAT

YOU'RE NOT DOING WHAT YOU SHOULD BE DOING.

YOU REALLY CAN'T BE HAPPY.

YOU CAN'T BE LAZY AND BE HAPPY.

YOU CAN'T BE DISOBEDIENT AND BE HAPPY.

I AM CHALLENGING EVERY ONE OF YOU, AND RECHALLENGING MYSELF

ALSO, LET'S GET SO MUCH BETTER AT QUICK, PROMPT, COMPLETE

OBEDIENCE TO WHAT GOD SHOWS US TO DO.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I MEAN, LET'S DON'T BE THE KIND OF PEOPLE THAT GOD'S

GOTTA DEAL WITH US FOR A YEAR AND A HALF TO GET US TO

DO SOME SIMPLE THING THAT COULD BE LIFE CHANGING FOR US.

WE'VE ASKED HIM, "I NEED A BREAKTHROUGH.

I NEED YOU TO HELP ME," AND HE'S SHOWED YOU SOMETHING LIKE MAYBE,

MAYBE YOU NEED TO APOLOGIZE TO SOMEBODY.

JUST, YOU KNOW, YOU ACTED KINDA IGNORANT.

NOW JUST GO TELL 'EM YOU'RE SORRY.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: COME ON, MAN UP, TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.

GET RID OF THE EXCUSES AND JUST SAY, "YOU KNOW, THE OTHER DAY,

WHEN THAT HAPPENED BETWEEN US, I LOST MY TEMPER.

YOU KNOW WHAT?

THAT WAS TOTALLY MY FAULT."

MAN, ISN'T THAT HARD TO SAY?

WE ONCE IN A WHILE WILL SHARE THE BLAME, BUT, "THAT WAS

TOTALLY MY FAULT," NOW, THAT IS, LIKE, GUT-WRENCHINGLY HARD.

BUT, BOY, YOU KNOW WHAT?

THOSE ARE FREEING WORDS.

WHEN WE STOP MAKING EXCUSES AND WE START TAKING RESPONSIBILITY

FOR THE THINGS THAT WE DO WRONG, THAT'S WHAT SETS US FREE.

SATAN WANTS US TO BE DECEIVED, ALWAYS FINDING SOMEWHERE ELSE TO

PUT THE PROBLEM, SO WE NEVER GET OUR PROBLEM FIXED, BECAUSE WE

NEVER TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT.

AND GUESS WHAT?

NOBODY ELSE IS GONNA COME ALONG AND FIX YOUR PROBLEM.

YOU KNOW, I GOT THREE LADIES OUT HERE IN THE MIDDLE THAT ARE

AGREEING.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SO THE FIRST KEY TO BREAKTHROUGH IS, FIRST OF ALL,

PRAY.

WE ALWAYS PRAY.

THAT'S PART OF EVERYTHING.

AND THEN, DON'T JUST PRAY FOR GOD TO FIX IT FOR YOU.

PRAY FOR GOD TO SHOW YOU TRUTH, TO SHOW YOU WHAT THE REAL ISSUE

IS.

AND YOU MIGHT BE THINKING IT'S THE OTHER GUY--COME ON,

YOU KNOW WHERE I'M GOING.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: YOU MIGHT BE THINKIN' IT'S THE OTHER GUY, BUT MAYBE

GOD MIGHT WANNA SHOW YOU THAT IT'S YOU.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: COME ON, DON'T MAKE ME WORK THIS HARD AND BE SOUR

ALL DAY.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: NOW, YOU'VE PROBABLY HEARD ME TELL THIS STORY,

BUT IT'S WORTH REPEATING.

FORTY-SOME-ODD YEARS AGO, I GUESS ABOUT FORTY-TWO YEARS AGO,

WHEN I FIRST GOT A REAL INTEREST IN STUDYING THE WORD--YOU KNOW,

STUDYING THE WORD IS DANGEROUS BECAUSE YOU START TO KNOW TRUTH.

AND, BOY, THEN WHEN YOU KNOW IT, YOU BECOME RESPONSIBLE

FOR IT.

AND SO, THEN YOU CAN'T PULL THE IGNORANCE CARD ANYMORE.

YOU KNOW, GOD GAVE PAUL MERCY WHEN HE WAS PERSECUTED IN

THE CHURCH BECAUSE HE HAD ZEAL WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE.

HE WAS IGNORANT.

HE ACTUALLY REALLY THOUGHT HE WAS DOING THE RIGHT THING.

SO SOMETIMES WHEN WE TRULY DON'T KNOW, GOD WILL GIVE US A LONGER

PERIOD OF GRACE.

BUT EVERY TIME YOU WALK INTO A CHURCH BUILDING, EVERY TIME YOU

TURN A TELEVISION SET ON WHERE SOMEBODY'S PREACHING, EVERY TIME

YOU READ A CHRISTIAN BOOK, EVERY TIME YOU LISTEN TO A CHRISTIAN

CD OR WATCH A DVD, YOU NOT ONLY HEAR SOMETHING THAT'S

INTERESTING, YOU GET A NEW RESPONSIBILITY.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD HAPPEN IN OUR WORLD IF

EVERY TIME WE REALLY BELIEVED THAT GOD TOLD US TO DO OR NOT TO

DO SOMETHING, WE JUST DIDN'T ARGUE, WE JUST DID EXACTLY

WHAT HE SAID?

COME ON, YOU ALREADY KNOW HOW MUCH FURTHER ALONG YOU WOULD BE.

CAN I TELL YOU A SECRET THAT I'VE LEARNED?

I'VE BEEN AROUND A WHILE, LONGER THAN A LOT OF YOU HAVE, AND

HERE'S THE SECRET I'VE LEARNED.

GOD IS NOT GONNA CHANGE HIS MIND.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SO IF THERE'S ANY CHANGING TO BE DONE, IT'S GONNA

HAVE TO BE ON US.

SO ANYWAY, I WAS CONVINCED 42 YEARS AGO THAT ALL OF MY

PROBLEMS, MY TEMPER, MY SELFISH ATTITUDE--WELL, NO, I DIDN'T

EVEN THINK I HAD THAT YET.

I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT THAT YET.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: MY TEMPER, MY UNHAPPINESS, MY GRUMPINESS.

IT WAS ALL, ALL DAVE'S FAULT.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: EVERY BIT OF IT.

HE PLAYED TOO MUCH GOLF.

HE WASN'T AGGRESSIVE ENOUGH.

HE WATCHED TOO MUCH FOOTBALL.

HE GOOFED AROUND TOO MUCH.

HE WASN'T AS SERIOUS MINDED AS I WANTED HIM TO BE.

DIDN'T HELP AROUND THE HOUSE LIKE I WANTED HIM TO, ON AND ON

AND ON.

SO ONE DAY, I AM PRAYIN'.

NOW, I HAVE LEARNED HOW TO PRAY.

I'M A CHARISMATIC CHRISTIAN.

I HAVE LEARNED HOW TO PRAY.

AND, I MEAN, I WAS GOIN' FOR IT.

"I REBUKE YOU, SATAN."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: "I RESIST YOU, IN JESUS'S NAME.

OH, GOD, GOD, MY GOD, YOU'VE GOT TO CHANGE DAVE."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: I MEAN, I HAD ALL THE EMOTION, EVERYTHING, AND I KINDA

FELT LIKE GOD WAS TRYIN' TO GET MY ATTENTION OR SOMETHIN',

BUT I WAS TOO BUSY PRAYIN'.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: COME ON, YOU EVER GET SO BUSY PRAYIN', YOU CAN'T EVEN

LISTEN TO GOD WHEN YOU'RE PRAYIN'?

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: AND HERE'S WHAT GOD SAID TO ME.

YES, GOD SPOKE TO ME.

THIS IS WHAT GOD SAID TO ME: "THE PROBLEM IS NOT DAVE."

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: NOW, HERE WAS MY NEXT THOUGHT:

"WELL, THEN, WHO IS IT?"

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: I COULD NOT EVEN BEGIN TO CONCEIVE IN MY WILDEST

IMAGINATION THAT IT COULD BE ME.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: NOW, BELOVED BROTHERS AND SISTERS--

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: THAT IS CALLED "DECEPTION."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND SO I ASKED GOD, "WELL, IF IT'S ME,

THEN SHOW ME."

BAD PRAYER.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: BAD PRAYER.

SO FOR THE NEXT THREE DAYS, GOD REVEALED TO ME WHAT IT WAS LIKE

TO LIVE WITH ME.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: COME ON, AM I TALKIN' TO ANYBODY OUT THERE TODAY?

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: AND I CRIED FOR THREE DAYS.

I MEAN, I JUST CRIED FOR THREE DAYS.

THAT'S ALL I DID WAS CRY.

NOW, I'D LIKE TO SAY THAT THAT ONE TEARFUL EVENT CHANGED ME.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: BUT IT DIDN'T.

IT SHOWED ME SOME THINGS, BUT IT THEN IT TOOK ME A LONG TIME TO

APPLY EACH ONE OF THOSE THINGS TO MY LIFE.

SO LET ME ASK YOU AGAIN.

HOW MANY OF YOU NEED A BREAKTHROUGH?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: HOW MANY OF YOU ARE PRAYING AND ASKING GOD

FOR A BREAKTHROUGH?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: HOW MANY OF YOU ARE NOW REALIZING THAT YOU'RE GOING

TO HAVE TO TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY?

OH, GOOD, ABOUT HALF OF THE PEOPLE WHO NEED A BREAKTHROUGH.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: "IF YOU CONTINUE IN MY WORD, THEN ARE YOU MY

DISCIPLES INDEED.

AND YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH, AND THE TRUTH WILL MAKE YOU FREE."

BUT IT'S NOT JUST HEARING THE TRUTH THAT MAKES US FREE.

IT'S OBEYING THE TRUTH THAT WE HEAR THAT MAKES US FREE.

EVEN THOUGH PAINFUL, I'D LIKE TO ASK YOU TODAY TO FORGET

EVERYONE'S PART IN YOUR PROBLEM EXCEPT YOUR OWN.

SAY IT AGAIN.

EVEN THOUGH IT'S PAINFUL, MAY NOT SEEM FAIR, MAKE A DECISION

TO FORGET EVERYBODY'S PART IN YOUR PROBLEM EXCEPT YOUR OWN.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: NOW, YOU SEE, AS SOON AS WE SAY THAT, RIGHT AWAY, WE

THINK, "WELL, THEN THEY'RE JUST GONNA GET BY WITH WHAT THEY DID,

AND THAT'S NOT RIGHT."

COME ON NOW.

GOD IS OUR VINDICATOR.

GOD WILL DEAL WITH OUR ENEMIES, BUT HE WON'T UNTIL WE STOP

TRYING TO.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: GOD IS OUR VINDICATOR.

HE IS A GOD OF JUSTICE.

HE'S THE ONE WHO MAKES WRONG THINGS RIGHT.

I READ THIS RECENTLY.

IT WASN'T EVEN IN A CHRISTIAN ARTICLE, BUT I THOUGHT IT WAS

A GREAT STATEMENT.

"THE FIRST THING YOU MUST DO IF YOU EVER INTEND TO HAVE ANY

FREEDOM OVER BONDAGES IS YOU HAVE TO TAKE 100% RESPONSIBILITY

FOR WHERE YOUR LIFE IS AT RIGHT NOW."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: WELL, DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD THAT IS?

BECAUSE YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT TOOK ME TO GET THERE?

I MEAN, "I'M THIS WAY BECAUSE MY DAD SEXUALLY ABUSED ME.

I'M THIS WAY BECAUSE MY MOTHER ABANDONED ME, KNEW WHAT HE WAS

DOING, AND WOULDN'T HELP ME.

I'M THIS WAY BECAUSE MY FIRST HUSBAND WAS A CON MAN

AND A PETTY THIEF, AND HE RAN AROUND WITH OTHER WOMEN.

I'M THIS WAY BECAUSE, AND I'M THIS WAY BECAUSE, AND I'M THIS

WAY BECAUSE."

AND YOU KNOW WHAT THE LORD FINALLY PUT ON MY HEART?

"THAT'S TRUE, THAT'S TRUE, THAT'S WHY YOU ARE THE WAY YOU

ARE, BUT DON'T LET IT BECOME AN EXCUSE TO STAY THAT WAY."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]
